Ugly Reality Mostly Ignored Shames Media

We felt that perhaps a small introduction to the article is necessary. We found sticking strictly to the subject to be terribly difficult, emotionally draining and psychologically vexing. We found writing about related facts and other connected subjects to be required for our own emotional needs. The rape of a seven-year old girl was to be so horrific that our emotions and anger resulting from even thinking about such a barbaric act to be too much, so please bear with us, thank you.

Outside of Israel and a few Jewish communities, the recent bestial rape by a Palestinian Arab worker at an elementary school, of a seven-year young girl near the school where two fellow Palestinian Arabs assisted holding the child down while berating her for being an Israeli and a Jew, has been ignored. Had such a crime been committed with the roles reversed, the world would have seen two-inch banner headlines. Such is something which will never be seen, bizrat Hashem. There are numerous items which were perpetrated and underlying this horrific act. It was not, as rapes often aren’t, a crime of passion. This was not fully a crime to impress superiority on the victim. This was a nationalistically driven act of terrorism meant to imply superiority over a Jew and “an occupier” which was helpless and did not even know how to fight. This was an act done to impel a right to take anything for their pleasure from the lands of their enemy. This was an act done to proclaim a victory over the Zionist Entity by defiling one of their women, even if the woman was a seven-year young child. This was a despoiling with intent to ruin a young mind, body and soul filling her with a dread which will haunt her the rest of her life. This was done in order to make her unfit for any other man and to claim to have destroyed a Jew. This was an act worthy of an idolatrous barbarian.

There is far more which should be understood by the rest of the world, specifically those who hate Israel without ever coming here to see what it is that they are supposed to hate and verify whether what they have been told is valid or false. The Arab view of Israel is that they will eventually destroy it even if they are forced to wait perhaps a few centuries. To many of the Arab Palestinians every Jew is a legitimate target for committing any atrocity against. The same would apply to an Israeli Christian or any Israel who is not a Muslim, or potentially not sufficiently Muslim. Theirs is an intent for domination, then humiliation and finally eradication. Their intent has not altered one iota since best described so succinctly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League who stated, before six Arab armies invaded the nascent state of Israel in May of 1948, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” This is their definition of their final victory. They claim to have patience able to wait centuries. Jews had the patience to wait two millennia to return to their ancestral homelands which were defined in Torah from three millennia ago. Sure, let it be a test of patience, we still have plenty in reserve. But more acts like this and the Israeli public will be demanding action to punish all these transgressors and to end their occupation of Israel.

But this act was intended to horrify Israelis. It should horrify anybody who has even a modicum of civility. People need to step back a moment and look at which side is building a nation which will benefit all of mankind and the other is out simply to destroy everything in their goal of fulfilling their hatred for the other. Israel offered to allow any Arab willing to live in peace from those who had fled to behind the Arab lines at the onset of their invasion. The Arabs who had fled believed the Mufti’s promise of sharing in the riches of the Jews after their glorious victory. Exactly what the Secretary General had described was the outcome most of the world expected, especially many Europeans from both sides of the just ended World War. When that was not the result and after Israel offered to allow the Arab return, their Arab brothers locked them up to use to crush Israel and to use as a pawn in the media and at the United Nations. They have suffered needlessly and for that the nations in which they have been imprisoned should be made to absorb them. Many Arabs in these camps have relatives who live in the city neighboring the camp. There are such camps within Gaza and the Palestinian Authority. Palestinian Arabs are kept in refugee camps by Palestinian Arabs. One of them just brutalized a seven-year young child. His was an act of domination just as had occurred just like during the massacres of the Mongols. This was an act harboring the origins of the horrors of past wars. Echoing the past as the Rape of Nanking, Viking raids, the conquests by barbarians throughout human history. This was an aberration peculiar to periods and mindsets of periods we had hoped mankind had evolved beyond. This was an act of primitive barbarism.

The question comes down to whose lands these are and under Islam everywhere is supposed to be ruled by them, though each group believes their Imam or ruler should rule everyone. The Palestinian Arabs had all the opportunities and choices open before them. They could have joined in building the lands for the benefit of both people. They could have chosen a relatively wealthy society with opportunities available to those with the drive to take them. Instead they chose to destroy, defile and putrefy everything they touched. Theirs is a society based upon hatred and destruction. You can leave Israel out of the equation and simply look at the actions of the PLO in Jordan and the PLO in Lebanon. The essence of their intents no matter their location or whose nation they are attempting to topple and destroy, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon or wherever they are found. During the Syrian civil war, which is still raging, the Palestinian Arab refugee camps was one of the initial flash-points in the early fighting. Theirs is the outlook of the world reflected with equal barbarity by the Islamic State, specifically when they were dehumanizing the Yazidis raping every female of almost any age. This is the world they want to spread as far and wide as they are able. This is what has occurred in much of Europe in the cities where Islamic gangs prey on Christian girls. One need look to England, in Manchester where they had Islamic grooming gangs which industrialized rape. Some will claim that what happened in this case was just one case and not anything which can be seen as troubling. Would the ‘it should not trouble anyone that women are being groped, raped and often grievously injured with some requiring hospitalization across Europe’ change their thinking. When such attacks are occurring in Sweden, Germany, France, Italy and Netherlands for further examples and we could continue. But right now, we are concerned with one specific example of what is obviously not just an Israel problem.

Immigrant prison statistical graph

We keep meandering away from the rape of a seven-year young, and we keep emphasizing young because that is part of why this crime was so beyond all decency. This was a crime for which there is no suitable punishment. This rape cries out for equal pain, suffering, agony and torture of the spirit to be imposed on the rapist and his accomplices. The rapist had been arrested, but for reasons which escape us, the accomplices are still free. That needs to be rectified. What will be the end result of this unconscionable act? The state prosecutor’s office will take their time and allow as much time to pass as possible in order to have a trial with as little outside protest as they are able. They will sentence the perpetrator according to cold statistical measures and believe it is all over. That is not what required addressing. This miscreant is but one piece of a much larger problem which extends well beyond Israel, we have just been on the front line, the tip of iceberg and the only part which is visible and obvious before the world. Israel is the crux where this creeping, engulfing, divisive, supremacist, exclusionary infiltration permeating much of the Western Developed world and is subjected to scorn as others blame the victim for the criminal act of self-defense. One can bet that if a not too dissimilar crime were to be happened upon by an armed Israeli who shot the rapist, the headlines across Europe would be ‘Israeli shoots Palestinian in the Back’ and it would be the fourth or fifth paragraph when the activity of raping a young woman by the Palestinian Arab would enter into the articles. This is what Israel has faced and is the reason why this unthinkable criminal act is being ignored by most of the world, it was in Israel and they deserve what they get, not like the Europeans who are simply being left in the dark about their own difficulties. Yes, there exist articles about the criminal wave which has struck Europe with sex crimes at the top of the list of things the European public has been told they need to accept, it is simply a cultural thing. Just a cultural thing, allow that to sink in and then start to get upset. Why upset? Because it is your culture that the government is not enforcing and instead foisting a foreign culture upon the indigenous Europeans.

What to do about these problems? The first step is to have the media start reporting the truth. Next is the police need to enforce laws and apply them to the incoming immigrants. But that would lead to a war in the streets, that is not worth it as it would make things more difficult. Where does anybody honestly believe that allowing another culture to come in and exist, according to the governments, side-by-side in peace and happiness. Well my friends, it will not remain or ever actually match that description. This is a culture war and if you do not fight it now, then you will lose later, those are the choices. You can surrender and become nice little Dhimmis or your can decide that the culture which your society has lived and developed for two millennia is worthy of saving. Of course, that will require the people getting engaged and actually doing something. The government, authorities, law enforcement and everybody else, possibly even the military, are telling the people that everything will be fine, it is just an acclimation process. What they are not telling you is that it will be you doing the acclimating and the Muslims dictating how your culture will become. This is why the European elite hate Israel, we decided to fight for our culture and they are incensed that Israel is making them look in a poor way, the Jews are showing them up and they have no answer. This is the result of the Secular Humanist outlook where no culture is worth more than any other thus your culture is unworthy and not in need of defending because it has no value. This is the mindset of your leaders and they are going to allow all of Europe to go down without even a murmur, and they will come down on you should you make too much fuss. Just accept your fate as it was the lack of the current generation having children which brought on the necessity of importing immigrants to work, but the ones they have brought are not working, they are lying in wait until they reach the tipping point where they can take over and rule Europe. You continue to be silent and that will be your future, meanwhile, here in Israel we will keep right on screaming and making a fuss. We want to live and to do so as our own people with our own culture building our future. The Palestinians have no interest in their future, they simply seek our destruction, and Europe wishes we would allow this silently. We will not, what about you?

My America Where Have You Gone

America, with two synagogues the targets of anti-Semitic shootings within six-months, it is difficult to recognize you. Yes, we have witnessed anti-Semitism more often than most, but we expected this when more often than not being the only Jew residing for miles around. Sure, we have heard all the anti-Semitic banter which goes on in certain neighborhoods where they perceive it is safe because all the Jews live over in that fancy and expensive neighborhood and none live here where some make minimum wage. They were, of course, wrong as they were eventually informed. Whenever moving into one of these neighborhoods, the idea was to get a lay of the land, figure out who was who and identify the true anti-Semite from the one who basically was unknowingly going along to get along and probably never knowingly met anyone who was Jewish. Yes, there are numerous neighborhoods across America which meet these criteria. Those whose laughing and hardly ever repeating the anti-Semitic jokes and stories were the ones who became very curious and asked a gazillion questions when they realized there was a Jew amongst the neighborhood. Then there were those others who, at worst, were arming themselves with eggs and toilet paper and the house took the better parts of a day to clean up. Amazingly, many others would pitch in and help clean up the mayhem from the night before. These events almost always came at the same time as crucial holidays such as Easter, Christmas and, of course, Halloween. But they did not enter synagogues with weapons and murder people. The worst of the Jew haters largely resorted to name-calling, look which could kill and other passive aggressive acts. That was then, this is the new world where anti-Semitism comes with violent assaults upon Jewish places of worship and now the newspaper which claims to “print all the news that is fit to print,” has published in its international edition an anti-Semitic cartoon worthy of Joseph Goebbels (see below).

New York Times anti-Semitism on Full Display for the World

New York Times anti-Semitism on Full Display for the World

The America I knew would be up in arms and enraged at these open displays of hatred and disharmony, discordance, acrimony, mind-bending hate and open-ended accusations by all sides against any who dare disagree with their particular politics. That is the current state of social media which is anything but social. We retain some who serve up dishes of bile just to keep ourselves grounded and to assist us in attempting to be inclusive rather than exclusive. Then again, we remember when exclusive meant that if you had to ask the price of an entrée offered on the menu, not to worry, you could not afford it and likely could not even afford just desert. That is no longer the definition of that word, today it means that should you deviate one iota from a narrowly defined ritual which fell within specific beliefs, then you were not only not welcome but also to be the target of scorn, contempt, derision and even the most ego destroying fate possible, being unfriended. But in some parts the hate is hot and so overt that lives are the cost of falling outside of acceptable, and it goes beyond anti-Semitism; sometimes it was purely political, sometimes it was purely hate and other times it was a bit of both such as the shooting at Republican Congressional baseball practice on June 14, 2017, in Alexandria, Virginia. Another item which is frightening is that these perpetrators of such violence have no regrets beyond the fact they were unable to murder more of their intended target group. What is worse is that in some places, politicians will defend these actions blaming the victims inevitably claiming that they brought this upon themselves. If only they would have acted more proper, defined as holding the political and social desires and positions that the speaker holds and any deviation is considered ample provocation for violence.

Then there are the great cover-ups by much of the Western European media. One of our favorite editorialists, Giulio Meotti has written three very engaging articles of late, “Killed a Jew? In France that makes you unfit for trial,” “Write it correctly: Islamic massacre of Christians” and France, the aspiring Judenrein Islamic Republic showcasing some of the problems in Europe. When we speak with politically active friends from the United States, they tell a tale of woe, sorrow and regrets over the state of civility, or should we say the lack thereof, and how the disruptive level of hatred is coming from so many directions that it makes it almost impossible to meet the expectations of most people. They tell of how at work, as conservatives, they keep a low profile never discussing anything about politics and never ever expressing any comments about morality and their regrets on the current state of civility and society. They try to explain how the way we acted speaking proudly of our beliefs and positions would prevent being promoted, could get us fired and would definitely have us treated as pariahs. Things in one of our old stomping grounds have changed and we cannot say for the better unfortunately. Our dear friend from even out in the western regions of the United States, not California, Oregon or Washington, but we are talking Colorado and to a far lesser degree Wyoming. They tell the story of those others who are moving from California and other leftist strongholds to their former haven and immediately forming committees and boards making demands for changes and literally begin to transform their new home to resemble exactly their former home which they left as it had become unbearable. Sometimes we wonder if people even know how to think anymore. These people are doing exactly the same thing which failed before expecting a different result. There is a name for that and Albert Einstein defined that for us, he called it insanity.

We would like to say that we have no idea where the signs we are seeing will lead but that would be a small white lie. The reason for small is because we do not know exactly, white because we wanted to have at least one trigger word, and lie because we do have a general idea where things are headed. If you learned a fair amount of history either in regimented study or on your own, then you can likely see the writing on the wall. For those who are unable to see the writing, it stated the following; War is peace; freedom is slavery; ignorance is strength and concluded with 2+2=5. There is just a whiff of the stench of Big Brother when the government collects every electronic signal in the world and stores it all on the set of buildings pictured below somewhere in Nevada. Of course, nobody is listening to your every word, but say the wrong word and a computer raises a little flag and then a real person has to decide if you are a threat or the word bomb got into your text because you said, “Wasn’t last night just the bomb?” There is an entire list of such words and other conditions programmed into this data center of all data centers. But you would have to work at it to get on their lists, or would you. Gain ballot access as a third-party candidate and be flagged as not a kook and you become a “person of interest” which gets you monitored. But that was then and this is now.

Civility has lost all meaning and has been replaced with a strict set of guidelines which leaves one walking a virtual tightrope so as not to disturb the easily disturbed. There are trigger words, and just in case you are becoming more sly about your word transgressions, there are a larger set of things which come under the definition of microaggressions. College courses come with trigger word warnings which probably will come into use in the course. These warnings are there so that college students, our future leaders, can avoid the unbelievable stress of hearing a word such as “shooting,” “rape” or any of a variety of phrases, many of which would be expected in any course say on the history of warfare. Colleges have safe spaces where students can flee after being triggered by a microaggression and find counseling, coloring books, puppies, kittens and soothing music. Basic training in the military now have stress cards which basic training troops can flag their Drill Sargent all but forcing them to be granted some time out as they collect their strength, thinking, body, mind, attitude or whatever they feel is needful of some alone time. Is nothing sacred anymore? When in basic training, we were referred to as maggots amongst some other far more colorful names. No time out cards, just a boot in your, you figure it out. Just avoiding any of those horrible trigger words or causing a microaggression. What is rather amazing is how the political tables have changed when referencing both Republican and Democrat positions and how civility has found a new home after being squandered where its former place had been. Civility and acceptance with those on the political left where the main theme was everybody is much the same and all should and could be friends. Differences were more accepted by the liberals of those days. Now those on the left demand that everyone sticks to a rigid definition of what is acceptable and what is beyond the pale. Some of the most glaringly obvious examples has been shown by those of the LGBTQ community and the Women’s Movement. In both cases, any reference which is perceived as supporting Israel is forbidden. This was made an exclusionary criterion of the Chicago Dyke March where a Jewish LGBTQ groups were denied the right to join the march as their flag displayed a Star of David which was far too Jewish and implied a pro-Israel probable position (see image below). Teresa Shook, one of the original co-founders of the Women’s Movement, has declared her ire at the anti-Semitic leanings of the new leadership and demanded on Facebook that they step down as they have been completely ineffective in preventing hate from seeping into the movement. These are just a small sampling and the one item all too many of these episodic exclusions have in common is their anti-Semitic nature. This has even spread of late into the House of Representatives where recently elected trio of Representatives Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Rashida Tlaib have made news with their anti-Israel and potentially anti-Semitic tirades. Israel is rapidly becoming a partisan issue with the far-left desiring breaking all ties between the United States and the Jewish State.

It used to be that virtually all anti-Semitism came from the fringe of the far-right, sometimes referred to as the Paleo-conservatives, where it was rare and merely a very minor group. With the more recent anti-Semitism forming at the opposite end of the political spectrum, anti-Semitism has seeped into the politics of both ends of the political spectrum. The far right appears to have grown as some have found cover from the left anti-Semitism which has brought many out of the woodwork. This may have had some play in these recent Synagogue shootings. What is more troubling has been the excusing of anti-Semitism, especially in Europe where it is often covered up. Add in the influx of Islamic immigrants bringing their Jew hatred with them from the Middle East and North Africa, and you have a growing group which will not stay at the margins of either Europe or America. Their anti-Semitism, often in the form of anti-Zionism and anti-Israelism, has already begun to infect the societal bodies of the Western World. Thinking about where this will lead and some of the inevitabilities makes one’s brain hurt and does not leave one comforted about the future. Imagine a world where the only places where anti-Semitism is not prevalent are regions of Asia and Africa with the Americas and Europe mired with anti-Semitism. This will be a world where Jews almost exclusively reside in Israel and have no place left in the Western World. This is the future which is beginning to become the obvious outcome if the Western World does not awaken to where they are being taken. The thing to remember is the quote of the wise words from Martin Niemöller who awakened to the inevitable result of where the Third Reich was heading and wrote this statement about the horror he saw coming, “First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.” Is this the end coming for what has been the most free and advanced society the planet has known? The possibility is sickeningly possible as one need remember that Germany was considered the great Weimar Republic with unmatched freedoms, many of the greatest minds on the planet such as Hertha Sponer, Albert Einstein, Hugo Grotrian, Ingrid Franck, Wilhelm Westphal, James Franck, Otto von Bayer, Lise Meitner, Werner Heisenberg, Peter Pringsheim, Fritz Haber, Wernher von Braun, Gustav Hertz, and Otto Hahn to name just a few. Germany was at the forefront of physics, mathematics, chemistry and virtually every field of cultured society before the rise of the Nazis. Is this the path the world is going to trudge down once again? If that is so, then we need to pray for a divine intervention.

The World has Become Filled with a Vicious, Malignant Hatred

The recent statements criticizing and condemning Israel using millennial anti-Semitic tropes on Twitter and in her worlds to the United States House of Representatives by Ilhan Omar have received some attention and even glorification in certain circles. These spiteful and hate-filled condemnations of Israel were not enough. Ilhan Omar went on to use another slur, this time against American Jews and Jews who are not Israeli in general accusing them of holding dual loyalties and inferring that their affiliation to Israel was stronger than their love for the United States. She continued claiming that the Jewish Israel lobby, targeting AIPAC, was buying support for Israel, through what could only be taken to mean bribes, commenting that support for Israel was “all about the Benjamins Baby!” She made a half-faced apology which was more her being upset that her words were not taken as formal critic of American foreign policy and honest assessment that American Jews are unworthy as Americans due to lack of support. Her perturbations were swept aside and deemed a closed affair with the passing of what we were initially told would be a commitment by the House of Representatives against anti-Semitism but the reality was a generalized condemnation of anti-Semitism along with Islamophobia, immigrants, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, LGBT people, and members of other religious minorities and hate generally. The clincher that Ms. Omar’s derogatory and degrading comments denying equality to the Jewish State and the Jewish supporters of Israel were deemed not to be denounced or protested was that fact that she is still sitting on the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House and as such will have a strong format from which to continue her spite and hate for Israel as well as be permitted to know every detail of intelligence which may be presented to this vital committee where sensitive and often classified information is openly discussed. The greater part of shame, though, is not with Ms. Omar but with the Jewish supporters for Israel and the entirety of the House of Representatives, if not the entire Congress, sitting on their hands refusing to call out the anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic accusations presented before the Congress.

But the problem does not stop with just Ilhan Omar; there was also the follow-on accusation from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez immediately following the presumed pushback against Ms. Omar when Ms. Cortez complained about how AIPAC, that pro-Israel Jewish lobbying group, was targeting her and Ms. Omar as well as Rashida Tlaib, the new Representative who has claimed that she also represents the State of Palestine and is in the Congress to be their spokesperson. Do not fear, there will be no complaint of Ms. Tlaib having dual loyalties; she does not support Israel or any other traditional American ally. There was so much left out of this debate, if such a one sided series of events can be called a debate. The small, little, insignificant information which was remarkably not mentioned is that Saudi Arabia and Qatar, amongst others, spend tens of millions of dollars more on lobbying the Congress than AIPAC. There was no mention that numerous Arab and Muslim nations have bought the Chair of Middle Eastern Studies and stacked the professors with anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and often anti-Semitic individuals. Further, these nations are buying sufficient influence over many of the most prestigious Universities to such an extent that it has become commonplace for anti-Israel slant being found in other departments and often the faculty overseeing the school newspaper, deciding which committees are permitted funding and backing by the University and sponsoring anti-Israel events throughout the school year as well as often turning a blind eye when conservative or pro-Israel speakers are denied venue or have their events violently protested including shouting down the speaker so they are not permitted to speak and even physical threats such that speakers have required police escort in order to escape the campus mob. There is far more to the spreading around the world of anti-Semitism often packaged as anti-Zionism, anti-Israelism and Zionism equals racism.

The problem is more advanced in Europe where many Jews have ceased wearing a Kippah (Yarmulke) or jewelry and other items which would identify them as Jews. France was forced to use military troops to protect Synagogues and Jewish schools including Jewish pre-school daycares. In Britain, the Labour Party has had a running problem with anti-Semitism. Some of the Labour Party elected officeholders and party leadership have resigned or have been censored for making anti-Semitic remarks. Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn has faced accusation of his holding anti-Semitic positions and beliefs. He has simply brushed such criticism aside as if they were nothing and has been granted apparent immunity from such claims. Further, when the Labour Party performed an investigation into the possibility that there was a problem with anti-Semitism in their party, so an inquiry whose remit would be to recommend how Labour could best tackle instances of racism, including cases of antisemitism and Islamophobia, with Baroness Shami Chakrabarti as the person placed in charge, they unsurprisingly were given a fairly clean bill of health. What made this result both unsurprising and uninspiring confidence was the problem that Baroness Shami Chakrabarti has faced criticisms as being anti-Israel and anti-Zionist to such an extent as to have probably made her a less than wonderful choice. There were no smiles from British Jews at her appointment and little if any surprise that she found that there was a higher likelihood of Islamophobic beliefs than of anti-Semitic and that much, if not most, of the presumed anti-Semitism was actually proper condemnation of Israeli policies and political leaders and their treatment of Palestinians and the apparent lack of commitment for peace by the Israeli government. This may pass muster with the British Labour Party, but it did not receive any glowing commendations and there were many calls for an outside investigation into the potential problem and not to accept the cover-up.

Then there have been the reactions from the Jewish communities throughout Europe. Recent polling and surveys have revealed that as many as forty-percent of British Jews are seriously considering departing as their lives have been threatened or other forms of intimidation and threats including their fear of anti-Jewish terrorism. Many are eying the United States but a majority has stated that Israel is amongst the nations they are considering or have already chosen. French Jews have become common in Israel with people hearing French spoken in areas of the Tel Aviv metropolitan region. The Jews who remain in France also are considering their potions due to the rampant anti-Semitism they have experienced. Britain and France have the two largest Jewish communities in Europe, so what they decide is important, is becoming influential and can sway the decision by Jews in other countries. A survey conducted by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights at the end of last year found forty-percent of European Jews have considered leaving their home countries over the past five years because of rising anti-Semitism. This figure very much is reflective of the trend in both France and Britain.

What is even more frightening is the trending decrease in the Jewish population in Europe since the end of the Second World War and with it, the decline in the percentage of Jews residing in the continent (see graphs below). Since the end of the war in 1945, the number of Jews in Europe has dropped by over sixty-three-percent, a drastic reduction by any calculation and it might be ready to shrink even faster. The Arab world divorced themselves largely of their Jews in the decade of the fifties after the end of the 1948-9 war with Israel conducted by six Arab armies and a number of militias and support from other Arab nations. Partly, this exodus of Jews from Europe has aided Israeli population growth. And it is not just Europe where Jews have been departing in great numbers. The Jews in South Africa are departing reportedly due to high crime rates, anti-white animus and the accompanying anti-Semitism which has also been on the rise. On November 21, 1984, Israel began Operation Moses, a seven-week clandestine mission to bring more than 8,000 Ethiopian Jews to Israel. But this was not to be the final chapter in the return of the Ethiopian Jews. May 24-25, 1991, almost the entire Jewish Ethiopian community was repatriated to Israel in an incredibly complex operation, and the largest air-train in the history of Israel called Operation Solomon. There has also been the return of the Jews from India who have been welcomed home. The rise in anti-Semitism in the world will serve to increase the rate at which Jews return to their homeland from the Diaspora. But that begs the question of where Israel will place everyone should the population due to immigration triple.

Loss of European Jews Since End of World War II

Loss of European Jews Since End of World War II

The answer to the question is that we have a large expanse which is not very populated, we call it the Negev. Yes, it is supposedly a desert. We are Israel and will make even the Negev bloom. Install three or four more desalinization plants and a nuclear reactor or two generating electricity and we will be good to go. One fact which bears remembering, the main number of Jews outside of Israel are in the United States. While the United States was once the nation with the largest number of Jews, about a decade ago that was no longer a valid claim as the Jewish population in Israel surpassed that of the United States. The reality in the United States is that many Jewish communities will be all but a memory within twenty years or soon thereafter. This is due to the Jews leaving the faith and becoming Secular Humanists. These are Jews who are finding their identity within politics and their fellow travelers. Most of these Jews are far left and basically a product of the best indoctrination money can buy, and that indoctrination never comes cheaply. They have entered and graduated college, possibly with a higher degree or even a doctorate, but as long as their degree is in the social sciences, their education was more than likely a thorough brainwashing from which many will never recover. That is the state of higher education in many fields and too many schools where part of the curriculum is learning to hate Israel and for many also how to be suspect that the Jew next to you may be an Israeli spy. Well, it may not be all completely gone beyond the cusp and fallen into the abyss, but in far too many high profile schools, there exists an undertow of anti-Israelism and a breeding for anti-Semitism on campus. This may result in some Jews rediscovering that they are Jewish while others will distance themselves as far from Israel and will become some of the most rabid pro-Palestinians on campus as they go to any extreme to prove they are part of the in-crowd. How this will end is still to be determined, but in all honesty, it does not look like there will be a happy ending to this story. The United States was behind Europe in this race to extinction, but it appears that they are catching up and doing so with a vengeance. So, once again the world is racing to figure out what to do with the Jew. Thank Hashem for Israel and this permits the Jews to have an escape plan, something we have lacked for close if not over two-thousand years. If for no other reason, Israel is needed for that day when the world decides that the Jew must be driven from before them, this time they have a place of refuge. Perhaps this is the purpose of the rise in anti-Semitism, to drive every Jew to either leave their religion and family (Jews are both family and coreligionists) or to return to their ancestral home and learn how good it can be to be a Jew residing in Israel.
