Land Theft in Area C and European Myopia

The primary reasoning behind the Oslo Accords was to set in place a framework from which a final settlement could be reached. The agreement spelled out which lands belonged to whom, who could and could not build in areas, civil responsibilities and security responsibilities. The arrangement could not have been spelled out any more obviously and the ignoring of the agreement is just as obvious and very egregious. Gaza was set aside as part of the Palestinian Authority governed lands, which remained as such until soon after Israel left Gaza under the disengagement arranged by President George W. Bush under pressures from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The areas of Judea and Samaria which are contested were divided into three sectors, Area A, Area B and Area C. Area A was placed under full Palestinian control, both civil and security responsibility. Area C was placed under full Israeli control, both civil and security responsibility. Area B was placed under Palestinian Authority civil control and shared security control by both the Palestinian Authority and Israel. That is as simple as things get, but apparently this has been too much for the world to understand. One would be led to believe that Israel was closed out of these lands, Areas A, B and C, completely with no opportunity to ever set foot within these regions. This has become even more egregious as the European Union has undertaken a program to build structures, towns, cities and whatever else they are able, label them with their European Union circle of stars emblem and place plaques claiming that these are the property of the Palestinian Authority. This is a get around of the Oslo Accords preventing the Palestinian Arabs from building in Area C, but it never said that outside agencies could not build entire communities for the Palestinian Arabs who could then claim the lands.

These structures are being built without any inspections to enforce building codes and with no regard for whether or not they are habitable. These “communities” have no roads, no electricity, no water, no sewage treatment, no connections of any variety which might make them marginally habitable. Already, there are those urging that Israel be forced to provide everything which these communities lack after which they would be opened to Palestinian Arab occupancy and then claimed for the Palestinian Arabs. These are sprouting up across Area C most often placed strategically so as to cut off the Jewish communities from Israel and isolating them such that they will also be claimed by the world to belong to the Arabs. After all, if there are no roads through which the Jews could ever travel to Israel without having to pass through one of these communities being built along major thoroughfares, then obviously these do not belong to the Jews or Israel. This is the latest European attempt to force Israel back to her pre-Six Day War borders where Israel was from nine to fifteen miles wide along her center. These are known as the Auschwitz Borders as Israel would be incapable of retaining Tel Aviv once pressed back into these borders as the Palestinians would hold the high grounds of the Judean Hills overlooking the Tel Aviv metropolitan region where three-quarters of the Israeli population, manufacturing, power transmission and other infrastructure is located. Should Israel be forced back to these borders, it would be a travesty and completely annul the hard work by Lord Caradon, the British United Nations Ambassador, who worked with great determination and dedication to perfect the wording of United Nations Security Council Resolution 242 such that Israel was not to be forced back to the Green Line but instead to retain lands which would provide for defensible borders. At the time, these borders were interpreted to mean that the Jordan River would become the eastern border for Israel just as had been the intentions under the League of Nations and the Mandate System which is presumably being enforced by the United Nations as per Article 80 of the UN Charter. If you are claiming that you have seen no sign of such, welcome to the world of those elites who have decided that Israel must be sacrificed as by sacrificing Israel, they will mollify the Muslim World from any further aggressions and peace will rule the land (it must be the dawning of the Age of Aquarius). If this is their logic and how they believe the world will be once they have whetted the Islamic hunger for conquest by giving them a present called Israel, well, then we would like to know what they are smoking.

The number of articles, documents, conferences, treaties and various other legalities which have defined the eastern border of Israel as the Jordan River are legion. We have from time to time provided abridged lists in our articles from San Remo Conference through the Mandate of the League of Nations on through Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. The fact that the United Nations became basically a signatory to all of these when they agreed in Article 80 to enforce the Mandate System has consequences. Anything the United Nations attempts to do that compromises the Mandate System, which implies the Jordan River as the eastern boundary of the country of Israel, is void as it is an attempt to contravene the United Nations Charter. This includes President Obama’s parting shot at Israel where in United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 under Chapter Six, which means it is more advisory and not backed by military force, which stated that any and all Israeli buildings beyond the Green Line were illegal and a breach of International Law is itself in breach of International Law and must be considered as void by any tribunal as it breaks with the United Nations Charter which takes precedence. When Lord Caradon fought to make the wording that Israel was expected to “return land,” not “the land,” “the lands,” “all lands” or any other reference which could be interpreted as forcing Israel back to her previous borders, he had inferred that this was a step by which Britain could correct some of the mischief which they had committed against the Zionists when they took 78% of the Mandate for the Jewish State and transferred it to the Arabs in the form of Transjordan (Jordan today) granting the Hashemites this region as their kingdom and to return Israel at the very least to their truncated lands with the Jordan River as their eastern border. His effort was stated to provide Israel with defensible borders, which a quick view at the cutaway below one can readily see an obvious defensible border and only one defensible border, and that is the Jordan River Valley and as the Jordan River is in the center, it makes for a perfect and easily recognized defensible border. Sometimes a single picture is worth a thousand words, and this one is just that as that is how long it would take to write out an article explaining the tactical advantage the Jordan River provides for preventing attack across its expanse, and that includes Arab aggressions westward and Israel aggressions eastward were either to ever become a reality.

There is another misconception which we have mentioned in the past but which bears mention at least this one additional time, and that is reference to Mahmoud Abbas and his incessant claim that he just desires the 22% of the Mandate which is rightfully his. The current misinterpretation which is often represented throughout the Western media is that this 22% is in regards to Gaza and the regions of Judea and Samaria which previously were illegally occupied by Jordan from 1948 until the Six Day War of 1967 when Israel liberated, that is liberated and not conquered, by Israel. The truth is he is referring to all of Israel as he is referring to the 22% of the British Mandate which was not gifted to the Arabs by the British. This should have been obvious to anybody with even a modicum of knowledge of history thus knowing that 78% of the Mandate was turned into modern day Jordan and Abbas is demanding the remaining 22% as rightfully his as all of these lands are belonging to the Arab Muslims according to their thinking. He realizes that as long as the Western media and leaders are willing to misinterpret Abbas claiming 22% as simply the contested lands, that he can continue to make this demand such that should the Palestinian Arabs be gifted the formerly occupied Israeli lands by Jordan, he can continue with that same claim demanding the remainder of that 22% he demands. The Western leaders need to start to be honest and fulfill their promises made after World War I in numerous agreements and treaties which denoted the Jordan River as the border between the Jewish state and the Arab state, the two-state solution engaged in these treaties, then the solution becomes obvious. Further, the claim that there were six-hundred-fifty-thousand Arab refugees who lost their homes in 1948 when they obeyed the Mufti of Jerusalem and fled to behind the Arab lines at the start of the 1948 war to annihilate the Jewish State, which the Arabs failed to complete but still occupied lands promised the Jewish state, namely Gaza and the renamed “West Bank,” Judea and Samaria were just too Jewish sounding for Jordan, and when the fighting was over, their Arab brothers rounded these Arabs into camps and have kept them there ever since, is a ruse being used to destroy Israel by flooding it with the now five-million descendants. The Arab claim continues that these Arabs are the only refugees left from the Arab-Israeli Conflict. They are correct in that these are the only left, but they are not telling the entire truth. The Arab world disenfranchised their Jews taking their wealth and then forcing them by means of laws or violence to become refugees. These Jews numbered over eight-hundred-thousand in the decade after Israel was formed and as unless they held passports for any Western nation, these Jews were refused entry by the rest of the world and came to the only nation willing, and anxious, to allow them entry, Israel. These refugees were not corralled into camps and left to wallow without decent job opportunities and minimal support as were the Arab refugees. These Jews were welcomed and became active and positive additions to Israel. Initially, this was difficult, but with time everything reached a more normal state. Today, approximately half of the Israeli Jewish population, there are also Arab, Bedouin, Druze and other Israelis who are not Jews, consists of these Jews formerly of Arab nationality and are a vital and vibrant community who contribute greatly to the Israeli economy. What is even more of an indication of their being integrated into the Israeli population is manifest for all to witness simply by visiting Israel. When one does so, they will notice many couples where one is apparently from European origins and the other from the Middle East or Northern Africa. This is the proper means of treating refugees who are your kin and not imprisoning them in camps for political gain.

We would like to now reference an excellent article by Giulio Meotti . In this article, he references an Islamic and Arab mantra which he expands upon which goes, “First the Saturday, then the Sunday people,” and he adds “third the secularized West.” His first two sentences read, “On Saturday we kill the Jews, on Sunday we kill the Christians”, or with greater tact, “first the people of Saturday, then the Sunday people”, is not just a slogan. It deals with a precise program of religious cleansing, pronounced by Islamist leaders and promulgated by Jihadists.” He explains how in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries virtually all, if not all, their Jews are long gone. He emphasizes this point by referencing the remains of the former Jewish communities stating, “In Africa and Middle in the East there are hundreds of abandoned Jewish sites in Morocco (460), Iraq (352), Algeria (320), Yemen (301), Tunisia (231) and Syria (63).” He then continues and points out that the Christians are facing violence and other forms of rejection all in an attempt to force them to convert to Islam. These Christians are amongst the most victimized people on the planet and also one of the most ignored. The sole group to actually get any attention are the Coptic Christians of Egypt mainly because of their numbers. The Coptic community makes up between ten and fifteen percent of the total Egyptian population and have been facing a virtual state of war being waged against them. This is an unofficial war which the Egyptian government claims to be their protectors when all too often, those targeting the Coptic Christians are police and even military units, unofficially, of course. The Coptic Christians who were wealthy enough to depart Egypt have mostly gone leaving those unable to flee from the persecution they face and with nobody willing to grant them asylum. That is the sad state they are in which they find themselves caught.

The reality is that the Christian and any other non-Muslim population living in the Islamic Arab world are facing eradication either by leaving, converting or death. These nations have all but extinguished their Jewish population to the point that they are all facing an end as their populations are aging. The next groups to be targeted and facing a similar fate are the Christians and in Iran particularly, it is the Zoroastrian religion facing this threat. Zoroastrianism is, along with Judaism, one of the oldest religions still in practice in the world today. This is a reality and it has definitive implications for the future. Islam, as stated clearly in the Quran, specifically in the parts written in Medina and considered to be primary with the Meccan verses overturned by the new verses, Islam is promised to be the conquerors of the world and fated to be the sole religion practiced on Earth. Make no mistake, they believe this in their bones and is passed on with the mothers’ milk. The next target in their sights is Europe followed by the United States. They have plans which instruct them on the exact methods to use to take over democratic nations without having to invade them. Their plan is to simply vote themselves into position where they can then substitute Sharia for each national constitution or other founding documents. This will lead to these nations no longer being democracies and turn them into theocratic Islamic states. They will use the open borders policies enacted by some overly foolish and Pollyannaish leftists who accept Islam believing that no one culture is superior to any other culture. Many of these leftists actually have an absolute disdain for their own national history believing their actions in the past to make them guilty of horrific criminal acts against the undeveloped world and thus believe that they need provide the undeveloped world with rights in their own nation even at the cost of their national credos. The eventuality of these policies is only now dawning on many of these leaders as they face the anger of the voters and realize that they took a wrong turn and many are simply not running for office and slinking off to a comfortable retirement for as long as it lasts.

The Western democracies are seemingly unaware of the threat they face. It is due to this blindness that we encourage Ilhan Omar and her ilk to continue to speak up loudly and proudly about how they plan to subjugate the world. Perhaps if the people hear such claims and demands from the sources’ own mouths, then they just might sit up and pay attention. Of course, it has been apathy which has always been the challenge and greatest threat to the Western democracies. Many of the people no longer or never have voted, some claiming they do not desire to be called for jury duty as if that is an excuse, and they blissfully ignore politics comfortable in what they perceive as fact that their country could never be overtaken through the ballot box. They are blissfully wrong. The Islamic invasion is being disguised as ordinary immigration which was completely redefined in the United States way back with the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, also known as the Hart-Celler Act, which altered the preferences such that it penalized European immigration, specifically it was claimed to removed de facto discrimination against Southern and Eastern Europeans, the Irish, Asians, and other non-Northwestern European ethnic groups from American immigration policy. The Hart–Celler Act allowed increased numbers of people to migrate to the United States from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The State Department have utilized this, working with immigrations officials, to bring increasing numbers of Muslims into the United States. Of course, this was a drop in the ocean compared to the influx of Muslims into Germany after Angela Merkel made her promise to take in many thousands of Syria refugees and she got far more than she bargained. After four years of German Chancellor Angela Merkel choosing to leave the country’s borders open amid a vast influx of asylum seekers to Europe, it has resulted in a significant majority of the approximately one and a half million people who have arrived since remaining out of the labor force. This has become a heavy burden for Germany and the story is similar in numerous developed countries across Europe. This was the first wave and one can only wonder how long after these nations restrict this influx before they elect another bleeding heart with little ability to conceive of consequences to their actions opening the floodgates once more. Muslim population in Europe has increased from 2% in 1950 with expectations that it will rise to 6% by 2020. One need take into consideration that the total population in Europe has increased from five-hundred-fifty-million in 1950 to an expected seven-hundred-fifty-million by 2020. This means that the actual number of Muslims has increased from eleven-million to an expected forty-five-million in 2020, a four-fold increase. With the Christian and secular populations of the majority of European nations in decline, the percentage of Muslims will only climb faster as the Muslim population is reproducing at rates which will show increases in their numbers, unlike the non-Muslim populations. In the United States the picture is less bleak but still has its challenges and threats which need to be addressed. For both Europe and the United States, the problem will grow worse, far worse, before it will gain much attention and this is due to the slant of the mainstream media which refuses to even breach the subject. Further, If the European elites honestly believe that by forsaking Israel, they will gain themselves a reprieve, they are solely mistaken and by the time they figure that out, well, if they have destroyed Israel it will be way too late.

Why Palestinian Arabs Were Invented

Let’s start this with a small challenge. Find a reference to Palestinian before 1964 which referred to Arabs instead of the Jews. Small hint, that is an impossible task. Even the British referred to the Jews as the Palestinians while referring to the Arabs as, oddly enough, Arabs. Sure, sometimes they would be called Syrians, Jordanians, Iraqi, Saudi, Egyptian and even the occasional Yemenite as their family names also depicted their origins. The original use of Palestine was, as most of you already are aware, by the Romans who after the final Jewish revolt was put down and the majority of the Jews moved scattering them throughout their empire and even selling them into bondage beyond the empire, that was the fate the Judeans faced and on top of the dispersion, they renamed Judea to Syria Palaestina in order to put an end to the Judean, the Jews. Even then, the newly created Palestinians under Roman rule were Jews. Since then, the area which comprises Jordan and Israel was referred to as Palestine while Lebanon and Syria were called Syria. There never was a nation known as Palestine and the only people to ever use Jerusalem as their capital city were the Jews. This also proves that all of Judea is part of Israel and history also backs the Israeli claims to Samaria. But we have a bigger question as the title promises.

The Palestinian Arabs were invented with the founding of a terrorist organization, the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) in September of 1964. The whole concept and idea of how to successfully destroy Israel and turn it into another Islamic Arab run country came out of Moscow and the KGB. They had trained a number of the core officers amongst which was Mahmoud Abbas and close to the top was Yasser Arafat. They worked with the Arab League arranging to get forces and people to take on this name which was crafted with care by the KGB. They knew that for the most part, the world is completely ignorant about Middle Eastern history outside of most Jews and the majority of Arabs. This is not an area of study for most schools with the exception of the post Greater Israel under Kings David and Solomon (see map below) usually with either Babylonia or the Persian Empire followed by Alexander the Great through the Roman Empire and then nothing. The main history of the area which is now Israel was abandonment with the exception of some Bedouins, some Arabs and, more often than not, a majority population which was Jewish. Further, almost every (if not every) census by religion of the population of Jerusalem found the majority were Jews. The lie that the Jews deserted the lands is not entirely true as there have been Jews residing within what became Israel and parts of Jordan across the Jordan River as the original Tribes of Israel inhabited both sides of the Jordan River (see second map). This lack of education and knowledge allowed for the Palestinian Arabs to steal the Jews own story of returning to their ancestral lands except they left out the return and labeled it their constant inhabiting of the lands while claiming that there was not a single Jew until after World War II when the world gave the Jews Israel as an apology for the Holocaust. That entire narrative is false. Israel was promised post World War I in 1920 at the San Remo Conference and validated in numerous following treaties, then by the Mandate System put in place by the League of Nations where Israel was recognized by a unanimous vote of the members including the leader of the Arabs of that time, King Faisal and finally the United Nations Charter Article 80 enforces the Mandate System by the United Nations and recognizes the boundaries and borders of the Mandates. This makes the eastern border of Israel the Jordan River.

Greater Israel the Kingdoms of Kings David and Solomon Between 1050 and 930 BCE

Greater Israel the Kingdoms of Kings David and Solomon Between 1050 and 930 BCE

Eretz Yisroel from back in the time immediately after Exodus and before the additional conquest by King David and King Solomon with the original division of the lands between the Tribes covering both sides of the Jordan River. The Israelis and Jews in general could attempt to demand that Eretz Yisroel, the Land of Israel be made whole as was First Apportioned by Hashem.

So, the first thing which we see is that the Palestinian Arabs took the title Palestinian and always leave out the Arab part as by calling themselves Palestinians they can take Jewish historical events and claim that they were the intended party to receive the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, the 22% not gifted to Jordan as a home for the region’s Arabs (that 22% becomes important when interpreting Mahmoud Abbas). Jordan has even become known as the homeland of Palestinian Arabs as over three-quarters of the Jordanian population are closely related to the Palestinian Arabs living under the Palestinian Authority (a legalized PLO to be used by the world bodies to destroy Israel). Often both Yasser Arafat and more so Mahmoud Abbas would claim that all they want is their rightful 22% of the original Mandate (see, you did not have to wait and remember for too long). This does not mean 22% of the lands west of the Jordan River, this is a reference to the British Mandate and thus to all the lands west of the Jordan River. When, after the Six Day War, Yasser Arafat and all of the leadership of the PLO fled with the Jordanians across the Allenby Bridge into Jordan, you would never guess but they attempted to overthrow the King and take over Jordan in what would be referred to as Black September (also the name of the group which murdered the Israeli Olympic Team in Munich). After losing to King Hussein of Jordan, the PLO core were banished into Lebanon where they again attempted a revolution which might have succeeded if not for the intervention by Israel as Syria had joined the PLO in attempting to conquer Lebanon. This sent Yasser Arafat into exile with the top leadership of the PLO in Tunisia. There he sat until, for reasons which will forever be lost, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, under negotiations headed by Uri Savir with Yossi Beilin, Yair Hirschfeld, Shimon Peres, and Ron Pundak, the Oslo Accords agreement brought Arafat back as the leader of the Arabs to, as promised, bring order and an end to violence after the First Intifada. Arafat would become instrumental in forming the Second Intifada and the endless violence Israel still faces currently. The Oslo Accords is when all the great plans and schemes of the KGB would finally begin to pay dividends.

So, after the signing of the Oslo Accords signed in September of 1993, twenty-nine years after the founding of the PLO terrorist group, they were now transformed through Oslo into the Palestinian Authority and wiped clean of their terrorist past. Starting anew, Arafat almost immediately began building a fighting force and terrorist cells. What is interesting is who the other agents were in the formation of the Oslo Accords as this was not an out of the blue idea but another well planned plot to further the use of the Palestinian Arabs for the destruction of Israel as the Jewish State. The initial work, which was performed under strict security and secrecy, took place in Norway with a number of Norwegian facilitators. Somewhat less known was that the United States State Department was also involved in the machinations leading up to the start of the process. The story goes that some department overseeing the Middle East working with contacts within the State Department from the European desk brought in the Norwegians who offered to be the go between and not to physically bring State Department people into any visible positions. The State Department wanted complete deniability of their hands being part of this process. The Norwegians were actually representing a broader European base which also supported this idea for returning Arafat to within Israel to organize the good fight. This idea was sold on the basis of the peace reached with Egypt, the idea of land for peace, but as the Palestinian Arab position is for them to take all of Israel and the Jews can flee or be taken care of in some manner. There have been times when it was intimated that the Arabs would treat the Jews well and with respect due them once they got their Palestine returned to them. Why would there be any need to claim that the Jews would be welcome unless the Arab intent was to take all the land. Further, we all know what giving the Jews the respect due them actually means; the Mufti of Jerusalem spent World War II in Berlin and toured Islamic-Nazi battalions while also broadcasting into the Middle East urging Arabs to fight the British and begging Hitler and the top Nazi leadership to promise to cleanse the Middle East of its Jews after they conquered that area.

So, we have seen that the Palestinian Arabs were a KGB invention with the able assistance of the Arab League to be used against the Israeli allies of the United States and remove this region of American influence as the Soviet Union was fully behind the Arabs and their war against the Jews. When the Arabs failed to destroy Israel again in the 1967 Six Day War, (again as they also attempted to destroy Israel in 1948 and managed to occupy Gaza and the Shomron (Judea and Samaria aka West Bank of Jordan), it was decided that perhaps through terrorism they could force the Jews to give up and leave. The ties the Jews have for these lands is something that the KGB and the Arabs as well as Europeans and all the rest who think the Jews can be removed from their return to Eretz Yisroel is far beyond their ability to comprehend. This return was prophesized in the Torah and is occurring exactly as predicted. There are other references such as Isaiah 66:8 it states, “Who heard [anything] like this? Who saw [anything] like these? Is a land born in one day? Is a nation born at once, that Zion both experienced birth pangs and bore her children?” And as it states, Israel came into being unlike almost all other nations in a single day she was declared into existence. Yes, there are a minor number of Jews who claim that Israel must wait for Hashem and presumably they imply the Messiach. But Torah simply states that Hashem will cause Israel’s return in a miraculous way and that pretty much sums up everything which brought the Jewish State back from oblivion.

But by using the title of Palestinian attached to their movement, the Arabs claim that there were no Jews in the land until May of 1948 when the Jews suddenly appeared and invaded destroying the country of Palestine. There never was any nation called Palestine in 1948 or ever, it is simply the Roman label given the lands of this area and they included Jordan. The Arabs are correct that there was a war and many Arabs fled their homes. This was their obeying the Mufti of Jerusalem who the British brought back seeing that charges of war crimes against him were lost, dropped or otherwise ignored. He promised that the gathered six Arab armies would destroy the Jews and then they could partake of the spoils. Well, even though the Arab forces occupied lands which were intended for Israel, they did not destroy Israel, so, instead they placed the Arabs who left expecting to share in the spoils into camps where they have remained ever since. The same promise was made in 1967 before the Six Day War and again Arabs went behind the Arab armies waiting for the Jews to be defeated. Israel won this time and liberated the lands which had been taken from her in 1948 as well as the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt and the Golan Heights which the British turned over to the French in order to take them from Israel by claiming they no longer controlled these lands. These too were liberated from Syria while the Shomron was liberated from Jordan and Gaza from Egypt. Interestingly, the majority of Arabs residing in Gaza have family names which denote Egyptian ancestry. If international law and all the treaties, conferences and everything else concerning the borders of Israel, the current borders of the Jordan River, the Golan Heights and the Sinai-Negev border along with the Blue Line border with Lebanon and you have what was initially promised after removing the 78% of the Mandate gifted to the Arabs and the Hashemite family (see map below). Further, international law would allow for the surrounding Arab nations would be required to absorb the Palestinian Arabs, those in Gaza to Egypt, those in the Shomron to Jordan or Syria and that would settle the exchange of refugees.

Oh, you were unaware of the Jews who became refugees after Israel was founded? Well, over eight-hundred-thousand Jews were driven out of the Arab and Muslim world in the first decade or so after the founding of Israel. The vast majority of these Jews had their families living in these regions for over a thousand years, but they were dispossessed of all their wealth and anything of value and often allowed one suitcase to take with them, a suitcase which was carefully examined for anything of value which would be confiscated. No nation was willing to take them in unless they were forced to by dual citizenship gained from the European colonial times in the period after World War I. The vast majority came to Israel who sent planes and ships and whatever was required to bring these Jews home. They were not put into camps to languish waiting to get their property back returning to their former country as the Arabs have been, they were incorporated into Israeli society. This meant for some rough financial times, but the hardship led to the Israel of today. But the Arabs refute this claiming that these Jews deserted their former homes taking all the wealth with them and are responsible for their current troubles. One can only wonder what Bashir al-Assad will claim about the Arab Refugee camps in Syria which were struck with barrel bombs and chemical agents and were amongst the first targets for Assad’s forces to strike. There were no United Nations condemnations forthcoming and almost nothing has been said about these events, they have been largely ignored. The camps which were in Syria are now mostly ghost towns and largely ruined. That is what many Arabs think about the Palestinian Arabs. Kuwait expelled the vast majority of the Palestinian Arabs, some claim all, during and after the First Gulf War and there was no great deal made about this relocation of almost half-a-million Palestinian Arabs. Apparently, the only people who are blamed for the misfortunes of the Palestinian Arabs is Israel.

The eventual end to the Palestinian Arabs and their use as a wedge for the eventual destruction of Israel is not going to meet any of the world’s great dreams. As neither the Palestinian Authority nor Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza are willing to allow the Jews to continue to rule their lands and their insistence that they be given all of Israel and refusing to accept anything less, they will eventually get nothing. When that day or series of events occurs, then the Palestinian Arabs in Gaza and in the Shomron will either willingly relocate possibly with a financial incentive, or they will eventually face being expelled for the same reason that Jordan and Lebanon expelled them. Actions have consequences and if the only thing you are willing to accept is all of Israel or nothing, then you very well could end up with nothing. They were designed to erase Israel off the face of the earth and in their insistence on succeeding in that task, they will receive what the losers in any conflict receive, nothing. That is the inevitable result from the current Arab insistence that Israel succumb to being ruled by their supposed betters when these betters placed the losing bet. Israel is not going away and that is the simply end of the story. The Palestinian Arabs will eventually either rebel against their current ruling group and reach an agreement or they will receive nothing and end up exiled in the end without having destroyed the Jewish State.

The Crux of the Arab-Israel Conflict, Part I

Most of the protests over the Arab Israel Conflict, now reestablished by the Arabs after numerous failures to destroy Israel, starting around the turn of the Twentieth Century in 1901, even before Israel had been founded and as the first Jews began returning even before the Balfour Declaration, have claimed that Israeli intransigence is the cause of the continuing conflict. As we will see, that has things quite backwards but does keep closely to the Arab propaganda which has been a multi-billion-dollar effort and counting. The actual history of this conflict often surprises people until they reach out and attempt to verify the truth and validate or disqualify what they have read. We invite people to make an honest effort to verify or vilify what we claim. We try and give links often enough but much of the information is easily researched and should not require links to be verified.

When the San Remo Conference decided to put the Balfour Declaration into treaty form, the Arabs initially agreed, or at least King Faisal had no problem as his main concern was to free the Arab lands from Turkish Ottoman rule and saw allowing the Jews their homelands as a fair and decent price for the Arabs to gain their independence from the defeated Ottomans. This was surprising and unacceptable to many in the British aristocracy and ruling elites, though there was a core element which supported the Jews returning to their ancestral lands. Some in Europe saw this as a means of ridding themselves of their Jewish problems. The actual result was that only a few Jews who were the original Zionists were interested in returning to Eretz Yisroel. These Jews returned to a land largely uninhabited, strewn with boulders, mostly rocky soil, swamps where there was decent lands and no real water systems and general arid conditions with a rainy season followed by a longer arid season. These Jews drained swamps, cleared land and began on a building project to distribute and store water for irrigation and general needs. As the Jews cleared land it made for an economic opportunities which Arabs then began to relocate to what would become Israel. Amongst these Arabs were groups who decided that it would be far easier to simply steal lands already cleared and irrigated than to try and prepare lands for their own usage. This led to the Jews having to defend their farms and projects which they often did by placing their wives with rifles atop the trucks as they prepared the water systems.

The original plan under the San Remo Conference was that the British Mandate would be to establish the Jewish State. The British took their Mandate as requiring that they allow a Jewish State in some area but not all of their Mandate. Their decision was to use the Jordan River, a natural boundary, as the border between their Arab State and their Jewish State. This gave the Arabs 78% of the land which would become Jordan, and the Jews 22% of the land which is still being fought over and debated. This was the initial two state solution. Any subsequent deal would be the second two state solution and as the Palestinian Authority and Hamas cannot play well with one another, there would be necessitated a three state solution if any peace were to be imposed which gave each interest their own region. But in order to be fair, it is worth noting that there were a series of Arab revolts where they attacked Jewish areas with all too often the British forces which were supposed to keep the peace simply standing by observing until they became threatened. In one of the Hevron riots, the British soldiers simply watched and when the Arab rioters then turned their attentions to the British, the British officer pulled his sidearm and fired one shot and the riot ended. This officer knew he could have ended the entire affair at any point simply with such an action but refused to stop the riot while the Arabs were attacking only the Jews. This was an indicator of the attitude of all too many of the British when it came to the Jews.

The British throughout Jordan and Iraq and in coordination with the French in Syria encouraged Arabs to relocate, even paying some and forcing others into the region which was slated to be the Jewish State such that the Jews would always be in the minority and thus unable to declare their independence. This was further implemented through a series of White Papers and other edicts which restricted the numbers of Jews permitted to move into the future Jewish State. This became particularly alarming as they all but closed entry for the Jews in the late 1930’s and through the end of World War II and until after they surrendered the Mandate. The British even set up camps and, in some rare cases used former concentrations camp locations, corralled the Jewish refugees from the Nazi concentration camps who had no homeland to return to, as it was quickly learned that all too many towns and villages were simply murdering any Jews attempting to return as they had already moved others into the Jewish homes and businesses and their return would have caused distress. This led many, many Jews to simply decide they were going to return to their ancestral lands as they were no longer welcomed in Europe. Most of these Jews ended up in the refugee camps where the British kept the numbers permitted to emigrate to the Holy Lands limited. The Movie “Exodus” gave a very optimistic but unrealistic end to the attempt of the ship SS Exodus to take Jewish refugees to Israel. The actual ship was boarded by the British in international waters, killing three of those on board and injuring some ten. In the end, after a stop in France where the French did all they could to be rid of the ship, the SS Exodus was sailed to Hamburg, Germany, a British occupied zone, where the Jews were placed in a camp for the duration. As is well known, as soon as the British were officially no longer responsible and had surrendered their Mandate occupation, Israel declared her independence.

As Israel declared her independence in May of 1948, which was soon after the Holocaust, many people claim that Israel was founded as an apology by the Europeans for allowing the Holocaust. This would have been a neat trick as the San Remo Conference was held from April 19, 1920 through April 26, 1920, quite a few years and almost two decades before the start of World War II, and thus the Holocaust. Did the Holocaust have something to do with the United Nations vote to approve their plan, Resolution 181, which was released on November 29, 1947, and partitioned the lands west of the Jordan river into two states, one Arab and one Jewish? This was an attempt at making a second two-state solution and is the grandfather of the modern idea that there is this pressing need for a two-state solution west of the Jordan River. That, of course, completely ignored the original two-state solution in which the Jews received a mere 22% of the Mandate lands. The Arab League refused this proposition and as it was a General Assembly Resolution, as soon as one side refuses to accept the compromise, the entire plan becomes defunct and void and is basically tossed aside and forgotten. Well, except for this one which we will get back to in a while. The reason the Arab League refused to accept Resolution 181 was because they had already aligned seven nations which were going to attack Israel as soon as it was founded. Thus, on the morning of May 15, 1948, the armies of Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Lebanon along with the fighters under the Mufti of Jerusalem and numerous other militias attacked Israel which had not had time to even consider putting together her military. Fairly soon the several groups of militias, the Hagenah and other groups within Israel, even including several Arab villages, cobbled together a military force and soon turned the tide and began pushing the Arab armies out of Israel. This was when the world powers stepped in and called for a cease to the fighting and eventually armistices were arranged. Due to the early end to the war, the Jewish forces with their Arab friends were not provided the time to repulse the invaders completely from what was supposed to be the Jewish State. This left Gaza under Egyptian control and the Shomron (West Bank) in Jordanian hands.

Had the fighting been permitted to reach a more timely conclusion, the Israeli forces would have stopped and advances and simply defended the lands which were promised them. That would have meant that Israel would have retained Gaza while the Egyptian military would have continued forcing all Arabs to retreat ahead of their forces clearing the population as they retreated into the Sinai and the Jordanians along with the Saudis and Iraqis would have been pressed back across the Jordan River, a natural barrier against any assault in either direction and as natural a border as any in the world (see cutaway image below). But things are seldom permitted to continue until Israel had a complete victory and ends the conflict as most of the world would prefer to be rid of Israel and with her the world’s Jews. This leaving the entire question without a complete and final solution has only led to the problems still festering today and remaining unsolved largely because the world refuses to recognize and keep the promises they made the Jewish People.

There would be a war in 1956 over Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser closing the Suez Canal to European shipping and the Strait of Tiran to Israeli shipping. This caused an alliance between France, Britain and Israel who gave the Egyptian President a deadline for reopening these waterways or face a military solution. When the deadline passed, the British and French continued talking while Israel attacked the Sinai Peninsula. Israel quickly took the Sinai and was sitting along the eastern shores of the Suez Canal. Needless to point out, international hew and cry was for those mean Israelis to return the Sinai with United States President Eisenhower leading the charge. Israel withdrew after the waterways were reopened. The next war was the Six Day War in early June of 1967, where Egypt and Syria had massed troops along the Israeli border threatening to drown the Jews in the Mediterranean Sea. Egypt once again closed the strait of Tiran which was recognized as an act of war. Israel decided to believe the threats from Egypt and Syria and as Egypt had already committed an act of war closing the waterways to Israel shipping, Israel launched an air attack against Egypt. The war had already entered its third or fourth day after the closing of the strait which placed Egypt in a state of war with Israel. This initiated hostilities as the Syrian forces came off of the Golan Heights before being halted by the IDF. Believing the reports on Egyptian and Syrian radio and other media that they were defeating the Jews and closing on Tel Aviv and refusing to believe Israeli reports of the opposite, Jordan quickly joined the fight. In the end, Israel again conquered the Sinai Peninsula, liberated Gaza and the Shomron and took the Golan Heights. The original lands which were to be Israel had included the Golan Heights, but the British gifted it to the French to give to Syria rather than allow it to be part of Israel due to its military importance (see image below). This is where things remained until October of 1973 and the Yom Kippur War where Egypt and Syria attacked Israel almost defeating her before the IDF could fully respond. By the end of hostilities, the Israeli forces were closing on Alexandria and Cairo in Egypt and Damascus in Syria. The United Nations backed by Russia and the United States insisted that Israel return to the final position from the Six Day War with which Israel complied.

The United Nations had passed a resolution after the Six Day War in which Israel was to “return land,” this is important wording as it does not say the lands, all lands, but simply land. Israel was also to retain lands which would provide Israel with security and defensible borders. Nobody wants to admit that this actually meant Israel retaining the Golan Heights and reestablishing her eastern border as being the Jordan River, but that was the feeling and implications back in September of 1967. When Israel and Egypt reached their peace agreement, Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula while Egypt refused to accept Gaza leaving that problem with Israel, quite intentionally. Subsequently, Israel and Jordan reached a peace agreement and Jordan refused the Israeli offer to permit them to take back the Shomron though they did insist on control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem by their Waqf. Their Waqf has slowly altered the rules on the Temple Mount and used rioting as a method for demanding that the rioters be calmed by banning Jews permission to visit the area. The rioters often use the al-Aqsa Mosque as their armory where they store rocks and planks along with other items which they use against the police and other officials who are attempting to restore order (see picture below). The return of the Sinai Peninsula, a region approximately three times the size of Israel, fully satisfied the demands initially from the United Nations and should have been the end with Israel able to define her borders as the Jordan River, the Golan Heights, and her recognized borders with Lebanon and Egypt. But the world does not always play by their own rules.
