Will President Trump Really Demand Same Old Concessions of Israel?

President Trump is definitely not Barack Hussein Obama as he does not even set any red lines to turn pink as he backs away digging a ditch deeper and deeper and never figuring out he should stop digging. President Trump does not believe in red lines, he just acts. He has proven it time after time. The first sign that things were going to be drastically different came early on at the United Nations. Nikki Haley was President Trump’s voice of change at the United Nations presumably laying down the law that the United States is done with Israel bashing in the General Assembly and elsewhere at the United Nations and will no longer allow the world to continue ignoring the war crimes committed throughout the rest of the world. Syria just found this out in probably the only language Bashir al-Assad and his ilk understand. The destruction of the airfield used to launch the planes used in the chemical attack with fifty Tomahawk missiles was overkill and that was the point. This was more than a message to Syria; this was a message to North Korea, to Iran, to Libya, to Venezuela, to the terror organizations throughout the world and to any dictator who was thinking of popping his head up and murdering, even potentially Putin. Unfortunately this was also a wake-up call taken by Hamas, Hezballah, Fatah, PLO, Islamic Jihad and all the smaller groups often overlooked but no less violent.

It is that those last groups and the message they received which will be the real problem. They realize that the way to persuade Trump is to show him dead babies and children, lots of dead babies and children. We can expect that there will be another round of violence with Hamas and Islamic Jihad or Hezballah or both as well as trouble with Fatah, PLO and the Palestinian Authority Security Forces, actually the PA’s armed forces, and the one thing we are guaranteed to see will be dead babies and children, lots of dead babies and children. The pictures will be plastered across the media, the newspapers, television, everywhere. There will be these images even if they need to stage them or, if necessary, murder them themselves. The blame will be aimed at Israel and many in the media will reinforce the story line even to the point of editorializing and expanding on the story line with great flourishes and emphasis on the horrors of these dead children. All the children shown on the media will be from the side of the Palestinians with none being shown from Israel. Many will be asking why this has come to be. The answer is simple; Israel spends millions upon millions of shekels on shelters for the people, armoring schools, kindergartens, children’s centers and required that all new residences have a bombproof room built into every apartment or home. The first concern in Israel is the safety of the people while the military remains out in the open for as long as there is any threat to the people. On the Arab side they have tunnels and command centers dug in well under ground where the terrorists hide coming out inside people’s homes firing rockets into Israel and then disappearing back underground hoping to get there before the Israelis can fire on the launch point of the attack. When the Arab terror forces do attack, they will do so from behind civilian cover using children as their bullet proof vests knowing that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will not engage them if doing so endangers civilians, especially children.

Those who have witnessed previous wars between Israel and the terrorist forces surrounding her know the story and understand what happens. Unfortunately, the majority of people watching the news broadcasts will jump to the exact conclusion the terrorists desire, that the Israelis are slaughtering children needlessly. Hamas, Fatah, PLO, Islamic Jihad and Hezballah have all been known to shoot from atop apartment buildings using the balconies as their launching pads while ringing the roof with women and children in the hopes that Israel will return fire without checking to see who might get harmed. Where this can occur as not every target which is launching rockets into Israel can be checked out before returning fire, but Israel does so whenever possible and even at times when doing so means they will miss the opportunity to return fire on that target. Israeli pilots when engaging a target must check with an information officer who also checks with an IDF Human Rights Officer who is a lawyer specialized in human rights and these officers will have either a drone or spotter aircraft checking the target and only if it appears that there will be no civilian casualties is the go ahead given. Israel drops leaflets and sends radio broadcasts and SMS messages as well as cell phone calls to all the civilians in a region where they are going to be operating telling them where they can go to be safe. The IDF does this knowing that the terrorists will also either leave the area or set up ambushes for the IDF soldiers sent to clear the area. As insane as this appears, the IDF still manages to operate with a high degree of proficiency despite such warnings telegraphing exactly where they will be about to operate. They often do such warnings simply to get into an area where surveillance has indicated there exist entrances into the tunnel entrances knowing that it is worth giving away where they are coming if it will allow them to gain entrance to the tunnel systems where the command and control operations are hiding and where the stores of rockets and often launch positions are also concealed.

This is not the only problem the IDF soldiers face. Hamas places their top commanders, leaders and central command and control operations center in the basement of Gaza’s largest hospital. This is known to the world but the media will never utter a word about this because doing so would mean that their reporters would be thrown from Gaza if they were lucky and worse if not. The other dirty little secret never discussed is that all reports, pictures and media the networks and news services send from Gaza is first approved by Hamas officials and any failure in following these prescribed procedures results in reporters being expelled from Gaza and no more coverage from the scene. The media outlets do not want to have such occur as the best pictures are made available by the Arab stringers who provide the media with the pictures they use in their reports. They also receive most of their stories from other stringers all of whom are actually Hamas or Islamic Jihad information and propaganda officers. This is how stories such as the shooting death of Mohammed al-Dura, the twelve year old boy who French television news showed huddled behind cement barrels (video below revealing hoax as presented by DePaul University) with his father and presumably shot be IDF troops during a shootout with PLO terrorists. The story proved to be Pallywood and not reality and the entire story unraveled over the following months which included a high profile slander trial against the reporter who revealed the hoax by the French Television 2. There is an entire system producing such events to try and make the IDF appear as child killers, indiscriminant murderers, and simply horrific criminals and the system is referred to using an innocuous term of Pallywood. One of the major contributors to this is the Tamimi family where the father uses his children as props often sending his young daughter to curse, spit, kick and generally abuse IDF soldiers in the hopes to find that one soldier who loses his cool and even just push the girl as she is well versed in taking the fall making it look like she was struck viciously. The Timimi father was invited to talk to a third grade class in the Ithaca, New York Beverly J. Martin Elementary School on human rights and Israeli crimes in particular against Palestinians. As if the job of the average IDF soldier was not difficult enough and besmirched in the media sufficiently without any real objectivity.

With their new understanding of President Trump’s sensitivity towards any horrors involving children, we can expect this information to be utilized and stories of Israeli brutality and their general disregard for Arab children to increase exponentially. But even this aside, there is another hint of coming events which we find to be an even bigger threat. This was something we feared and warned that the Prime Minister must do everything in his power to inform President Trump of the futility of following down the “Two State Solution” road in our article Advice for Netanyahu When Visiting Trump before the two men first met and then how the refusal by Prime Minister Netanyahu to even speak about the “Two State Solution” being a dead end with President Trump and instead boring in laser-like on Iran, a problem President Trump was already on the Israeli side to begin with, instead would lead to another trip down that road in Israel and the Netanyahu-Trump Effect. Rumor now has it that President Trump is about to impose a requirement that Israel once again make concession to the Palestinian Authority and Mahmoud Abbas in particular in order to reengage and get the peace process moving ahead after being moribund for the past decade and a half. The reason is easy to understand. No matter what Israel gives to Mahmoud Abbas, he cannot accept the deal and remain alive. Without the IDF along with the Shin Bet and other Israeli intelligence networks protecting Abbas from Hamas, ISIS, Islamic Jihad and even others in Fatah and the PLO, the other two groups which he presumably rules. One need understand that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is also the Chairman of the political party Fatah, the terrorist organization PLO as well but still needs an entire company of soldiers surrounding him in order to survive the day and they require the IDF and Israeli intelligence to prevent any serious threats from reaching those soldiers. Further, Mahmoud Abbas has made a simple promise, that he will never accept any deal less than the complete eradication of the Jewish State, the Zionist Entity as the Arab World calls Israel. Abbas is just one person in the entire Arab opposition to Israel and his assignment is to carry on the Yasser Arafat role of pure opposition to everything Israel. The only real difference between Arafat and Abbas is Arafat sported a two day beard growth and often wore a revolver strapped to his side (even when addressing the United Nations, the only person to manage to do so), Abbas wears a suit and tie and is clean shaven.

The entire Arab World and their relations with Israel can be traced to Khartoum, Sudan and the Khartoum Resolution and its “Three No’s” agreed upon and sworn to by the Arab League and all the Arab leadership. These “Three No’s” were “No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, and no negotiations with Israel.” When Egypt made peace with Israel the Arab League was troubled as what could they do as Egypt is the most populous Arab state. Well, the Arab League temporarily voted and Egypt was suspended from the Arab League in 1979 after signing a peace treaty with Israel and then Egypt was readmitted in 1989. There was an even more violent reaction to the Camp David Accords where Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian President Anwar El-Sadat signed a peace treaty in 1979. United States President Carter was present at the signing and given large amounts of credit despite his insistence that the peace be negotiated into a grand peace including the establishing of a Palestinian State which Egypt not only could not force to happen and was not even interested in trying and President Carter’s constant insisting almost crashed the treaty. Fortunately Egyptian President Anwar El-Sadat was not to be deterred as he realized that his country would only gain from peace and would not be denied and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin was equally driven to make the peace work. Egyptian President Anwar El-Sadat paid the ultimate price as a Muslim Brotherhood member and soldier in the Egyptian military broke from formation during a pass in review and rushed the Presidential stands shooting Sadat assassinating him. Fortunately the peace survived beyond him and despite being a cold peace, that peace continues to exist and under President Sisi there has even been increasing coordination concerning the terrorists and criminal enterprises present in the Sinai Peninsula. Jordanian King Hussein followed Egypt’s lead and made peace with Israel in 1994 and surrendered their claims and previous illegal annexation of Judea and Samaria which they had renamed West Bank to remove the links to Jewish and Israeli history.

It took another two years for the concept to arise that the lands Jordan had occupied illegally and Israel liberated in the 1967 Six Day War should be stolen from Israel again and made into an Arab State for some invented group of Arabs named the Palestinians. This was brought about coinciding with the first Intifada and was fully accepted by the world which has been anxiously attempting to take as much of the lands left for Israel, the mere 22% of the original lands of the British Mandate, and turn them into another failed Arab State. The entire world is aware that the sole purpose of such a state would be identical to that of the Hamastan State in Gaza, and that is to launch rockets into Israel murdering as many Jews as possible until the State of Israel has been erased from the world and the Jews no longer allowed to determine their own futures being returned to living at the permission of some foreign state being chased from here to there around the world stateless. This will once again enter the world stage as President Trump attempts to buy a peace which can only be purchased with the Jewish blood of the entirety of Israel in sacrifice after sacrifice. After Israel regained the lands illegally occupied by Jordan in the Six Day War, they should have been incorporated into Israel and the Jordanian citizens residing in these lands sent back to Jordan. If Israel cared to be benevolent, then they might be given the value of any property they had occupied and that should have been that. Israel absorbed almost nine-hundred-thousand Jews alienated from their homelands in the Arab world and the Arab world should have been made to accept the less than eight-hundred-thousand Arabs who had fled Israel in 1948 fully expecting the Mufti’s promise to have been realized and return in a few weeks after the Jewish infestation (we believe that is how he referred to the Jews in Israel) had been eradicated. The Jews managed, with the grace of Hashem, to survive that war despite losing some lands to Egypt (Gaza) and Jordan (Judea and Samaria and half of Jerusalem). Once these lands had been reunited with Israel in 1967 the Arabs residing there in these areas should have been returned to their countries of origin from before the 1967 war (Gazans to Egypt and Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem to Jordan plus Golan Heights to Syria). As far as Israel surrendering lands for another Arab state, such a concept should be pronounced dead on arrival as every time Israel has retreated from lands they have sooner or later become a haven for terrorists and criminal activities. This is what occurred in southern Lebanon (Hezballah), in Gaza (Hamas and Islamic Jihad) and after some time now in the Sinai Peninsula (ISIS, al-Qaeda and criminal gangs). Should Israel ever be forced to surrender Judea and Samaria (East Jerusalem has been annexed and reunited with the remainder of Jerusalem and the Arabs residing there have been granted a limited form of citizenship lacking only the right to vote in national elections for the time being), then at best the PA will be replaced by the PLO or worse by Hamas, ISIS, Hezballah or even Iran. This inevitability must never be permitted to happen and any demand for Israel to make further concessions, even if it is giving Abbas one shekel, should be rejected and fought with every ounce of energy available as the entire concept of a “Two State Solution” must be put to rest permanently.

Is David’s Sling Really an “Existential Danger”

Some Israeli enemies have stated they consider David’s Sling to be an “existential danger” in any way, shape or form? In a word, “No!” David’s Sling is an anti-missile system designed to intercept offensive mid-range ballistic missiles. Some will point to the recent interception of an SA series Russian anti-aircraft missile fired at an Israeli jet while it was on a mission over Syria to strike advanced weapons which Iran was passing through Syria to Hezballah in Lebanon for the expressed usage against Israel. Such a strike is considered perfectly legal under international law as preemptory defensive operations but in the case of preventing weapons from reaching Hezballah there is an even greater validation, preventing weapons, especially weapons of mass destruction, from reaching any terrorist groups. This interception of an anti-aircraft missile while it was on path to strike an Israeli fighter jet would be an argument making David’s Sling as having an offensive capability as in assisting attack aircraft but only if one regards the limited but confirmed use of Israeli airstrikes to prevent the arming of Hezballah, a terrorist group, to be an offensive act. Further, the odds of ever again having an anti-missile system intercept an anti-aircraft missile are unbelievably great as the conditions would necessarily need to be of an extremely specific state as presented themselves during this one event. The normative use of David’s Sling would be against mid-range ballistic missiles such as the longer distance missiles Hezballah currently had gained thousands of such missiles now making all of Israel as well as most of the Sinai Peninsula and one third of Saudi Arabia within their range as well as full on ballistic missiles used by Iran which can reach well into Europe with some determined potentially to reach as far as to Paris. One day the David’s Sling anti-missile system could very well protect one of the capital cities of Europe in theory. David’s Sling also completes the Israeli anti-missile shield systems. In conjunction with Iron Dome, Arrow Systems I and III on Continental Ballistic Missiles, Arrow II on mid-range Ballistic Missiles, David’s Sling on mid-range Ballistic Missiles and Iron Dome on short range missiles, rockets, artillery and mortars; these multi-range systems have a fair amount of overlap providing Israel with a multi-layer and multi-radar-platform interception systems. None of these systems can be launched in an offensive manner to strike at other nations. They are all simply used to protect Israel from rockets and missiles launched at her and her people.

Why would the enemies of Israel claim that the David’s Sling is an “existential danger” to them if it has no offensive capability? That is easy to answer and it is the same reason they claim the Arrow Systems and the Iron Dome were also “existential danger” to them, they prevent their weapons systems from inflicting damage on Israel and her people. What is truly sad is that should the Arab League nations bring a motion before the United Nations General Assembly complaining that the new David’s Sling anti-missile system causes them to face an “existential danger,” then with a majority of Europeans and other nations the worldwide voting with them, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions. But then it was Abba Eban who once claimed about the United Nations General Assembly, “If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions.” Things likely have actually only gotten worse. Truth be told the reality today is such would pass with likely seven or eight votes protecting Israel and eighteen to twenty-three abstentions while the remainder would denounce Israel. Similar percentages would prove true of any of the myriad of United Nations agencies such as the UNHRC or UNESCO to name a pair who have proven particularly guilty.

The problem is that while many nations and forces in the world at the end of World War I during a time when many nations particularly from Europe were discarding their colonialism at a measured pace, they agreed that the Jews should have their ancient homelands returned to them. The problem was that soon after they committed to just this scenario, that they gave the British the position of overseeing this venture. As it turns out, they would have been hard pressed to find a less suitable nation to carry out such an assignment honestly. By the time the British had decided they were going to divorce themselves of finding some further means of reducing the amount of land allotted the Jews after first rewarding the Arabs with 78% of the Mandate lands with the formation of Transjordan (Jordan) and then having the Peel Commission attempt to give the Arabs another two-thirds of the land leaving the Jews with one-third of the remaining one-fourth, meaning the Jews were being cut to one-twelfth of the original Mandate, ran into a small problem, the Arabs refused the Peel Commission because it left any land for the Jews. The British then placed everything in the lap of the United Nations who decided to divide the land evenly with two-thirds of the Jewish lands being Negev Desert and almost all the Arab lands being arable but again the Arabs refused because, you guessed it; it still left any land for the Jews. The reason the Arabs, including the Palestinians, can and will never reach any peace agreement with Israel as a whole is because they refuse to accept any land as belonging to the Jews, let alone for a Jewish State. But the evils go deeper than this.

The reason anything Israel does, whether in her own defense or as an offer of peace, will always be insufficient and is due to a number of reasons, one for almost every group on the planet. For the Arabs it is because the lands can never be relegated to anybody, but especially the Jews, because the lands were once conquered by the Arabs. For the Muslims it is because no lands ever conquered by the Muslims can ever be permitted to fall under anybody else’s control. This is why the Muslims still claim that the Spanish are occupying Andalusia and make claims that they will reunite Andalusia with its Muslim heritage very soon. This is the essence of the India Pakistan war as the Pakistanis claim one-third of India as rightfully theirs as its Muslim conquerors and thus its rightful owners. The truth is in some Muslim perspectives the entirety of Earth was once Islamic and they have been retaking that which is rightfully theirs because Allah told them the entirety of the world was theirs. Of course the world was somewhat smaller in Muhammad’s view around 625A.D. Further, the majority of European nations look upon allowing the Jews to have their own nation was their most grievous of errors in the past century when they agreed upon this action between the end of World War I and through the early 1920’s. Oh, that’s correct, by the early 1920’s the Europeans and the Arab nations under the leadership of King Faisal and the leaders of the recently defeated Ottoman Empire all agreed to allow the Jews to return to their Biblical homelands, all of their Biblical homelands which were presumably the lands placed under English control called the British Mandate. Of course the British found some interesting verbiage which they turned into making the vast majority of the land into an Arab state and called it necessary and proper, British proper of course. The world was already turning away from their promise and were all very cozy and comfortable with the British rearrangement such that even the League of Nations saw no need to complain about the twisting of the wordings in the San Remo Conference which was the original document setting aside land for the Jewish State in 1922.

Left side map depicts the division of the Promised Land amongst the tribes and right side map compares the modern promised land from the Jordan west to the Mediterranean Sea compared to the maximum of area during King David’s and King Solomon’s reigns.

Skipping to the modern era and the world would simply have no compunction in allowing the destruction of Israel. The Arabs might lower the price of oil as a congratulatory move of renewed friendship. Then again, as it has often been noted by even some diplomats, Israel and the Jews are behind every problem in the Middle East and possibly the entire world and maybe even behind why all the galaxies other than Andromeda are flying away at an ever increasing rate. That’s right, the Jews and Israel invented Dark Energy, okay, not exactly, but there will be some who will link to it here and claim it must be true, it is on the Internet. You list Israel and the Arab Palestinians as the greatest problem facing the globe and for only one reason; you know the result will destroy Israel. You translated and excitedly realized and concurred with what Yasser Arafat broadcast in his “stages” message in Arabic where he stated, “Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do this in stages. We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine, and establish sovereignty there, and use it as a springboard to take more. When the time comes we can get the Arab nations to join us for the final blow against Israel.” You grabbed this as a revelation of the final solution coming to fruition and as the solution to your problem with Jews ruling themselves.

Your placing the existence of Israel as your most pressing problem in the world would be so laughable if it were not so tragic. Your hatred of Jewish freedom and self-rule and your desire to finish what Europe bred for over a century and a half with Inquisitions, pogroms, Purifications and attempted genocidal cleansing with a final sweep removing Israel even if at the cost of 10,000,000 Jews or more depending on the length of time it will take. This is your most driving force between Europe, the Arab World, much of Africa, a fair part of Asia, possibly the majority of the Russian population and likely close to a third of the people in the Americas. Israeli existence is such an anathema to potentially more than half, nay, two-thirds of the people throughout the planet that it is placed as the most immediate necessity to solve over such as the meat-grinding bloodshed in Syria, a megalomaniac ruling Turkey with plans on incorporating northern Syria and Iraq into Turkey expressly for the purpose of ridding the lands of the Kurdish People, another omnipotent leader in Russia seriously considering reestablishing his nation’s dominance over large swaths of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, an entire set of loonies in China seeking to dominate one of the busiest sea trade routes through the South China Sea that they are building Islands and then exclaiming to have discovered and acquired a whole new island never seen before claiming it was there all of a sudden like and we didn’t do anything, the hopefully last in a line of ever growing mentally unstable lunatic ruling the northern areas of the Korean Peninsula where the people are starving while he murders selected generals and family members while playing with tossing nuclear weapons around the globe while building such and the rockets with which to deliver them and to top this list off there are a whole bevy of religious fanatics with nuclear weapons on their minds and where the top Mullah leads immense crowds of the people on selected Fridays to pick up the pace from the other Fridays where these crowds chant “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” while this country is mobilizing for a war to take control of the entirety of the Arab oil wealth followed by spreading Shia Islam to every Sunni in the world and then everyone else. That is a partial list and does not mention any potential problems with the new American leader, the refugee issue in Europe, the war in Yemen, Libya, or Somalia plus dictators taking control in many nations with disastrous results as in Venezuela and the new Freedom Index released recently published by The Heritage Foundation showing yet another year of a world less free than the one before it. Israel, a free democracy run under the rule of law is the world’s biggest problem? Puleeze!

UN Economic and Social Commission Declares Israel Apartheid

According to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia; after careful, deep, serious and intensive deliberations calmly released their verdict that Israel is an Apartheid nation. In a new report published recently it was claimed after examinations based on key instruments of international law that Israel has established an apartheid regime that oppresses and dominates the Palestinians. The basis for their determination rested on the fact that Israel has had repeated wars. This was stated without any reference to the fact that none of these wars were initiated by Israel and every war had as its cause actions by Arab forces, nations, terrorist groups or other forms of hostility including kidnapping, murder of civilians, cross border violence, weeks of ever increasing rocket assaults across the border and other casus belli for war. Instead the implication is that Israel has initiated these wars in order to enslave the Arab people and subjugate them while stealing their lands. They point to the presumed fact that Israel has annexed lands claiming the lands were not originally denoted by numerous legal treaties, conferences, mandates and even the United Nations Charter was Israeli to start with.

They noted expulsions of Arabs from their homes, businesses and lands presumably because of Israeli violence or threats thereof. There is a small problem here as the only large scale or even documented expulsion or dispossession of Arabs from their property occurred immediately before six Arab armies attacked Israel in May of 1948. This dispossession was caused by the Mufti of Jerusalem who insisted that the Arabs should leave their homes, farms, businesses and lands and escape to safety behind the Arab armies poised on the border of Israel so that their invasion could be simplified and all they need do is murder every person between them and the Mediterranean Sea. That story ended with them losing, not erasing all of Israel. The Arab forces did manage to wrest Judea, Samaria, Gaza and half of Jerusalem from the lands which were rightfully Israeli and because they did not slaughter every single last Jew and the Jews began to actually push the Arab armies back, they had the rest of the world preserve their gains by demanding an end to the war and threaten Israel that their further assaults would be viewed dimly. Israel, the Jews, winning has always resulted in the world demanding Israel cease their belligerence ignoring the small factor that the Arabs began each round of violence. With Israel still in existence, the Arabs decided to retain the Arabs whose lands remained under Israel control and demanded the world recognize these Arabs as refugees of the Israeli war because Israel refused to surrender everything to the Arabs who claim that all of Israel is rightfully theirs.

The final point is so ridiculous it is almost an embarrassment to mention. They state the Arabs they have labeled as Palestinians, since the invention of such a people in 1964, have been divided into groups which are treated differently. There are four groups which Israel treats differently and when we list the groups you might notice a particular peculiarity. These groups are the Arabs who are citizens of Israel (they leave out that they are full citizens but why argue over particulars); the Arabs in East Jerusalem; the Arabs in Judea, Samaria and Gaza; and the Arabs dispersed outside of these areas.

Let us take them in reverse order; it will work out shorter this way. The Arabs who once lived within what is today Israel within the Green Line and are now refugees were requested (read demanded) to leave their properties to allow the Arab armies to destroy the Jews and then they could return and enjoy the spoils of the Jew wealth and have been prevented from returning by the Arab nations themselves or the Palestinian authority and Hamas governments in Judea and Samaria, and Gaza respectively. These Arabs were placed into camps and imprisoned there by their own people are not and never have been under Israeli occupation, control and Israel has absolutely no responsibility for the fact that they have never been permitted to settle in the nations where they are presumably refugees. The world is complicit in making these refugees a separate definition and the only refugees whose status is hereditary and passed from father to son and mother to daughter adinfinitum. There are approximately fifty-thousand original refugees left alive from the first Arabs who listened to the Mufti of Jerusalem and suffered for their obedience. The remaining five to six million are their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and so forth. None are in any way caused or the responsibility of Israel. Originally these refugees numbered about seven-hundred-fifty-thousand while the Jews forced from their homes in the Arab and Muslims nations of MENA (Middle East and North Africa) numbered in excess of eight-hundred-fifty-thousand. This should have been an exchange of populations in a similar manner as the exchange between Pakistan and India or Germany and France and other refugee exchanges throughout recent history.

The next groups mentioned were the Arabs in Gaza, Judea and Samaria. The Arabs living in Gaza are living under Hamas governance which we can safely assume is not about to change despite elections. The Arabs residing in Judea and Samaria live under Palestinian Authority rule as a form of semi-autonomous rule. Currently their leader is a gentleman named Mahmoud Abbas who is in the eleventh or twelfth year of his four year term. The Palestinian Authority has apparently had some degree of difficulty in arranging the overdue election which has nothing to do with Israel. Sorry to upset the theory that Israel refuses to allow them to vote as Israel has nothing to do with the Palestinian Authority’s election schedule, that remains the domain of Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah Party. The sole Israeli responsibility is to protect the Palestinian Authority government from outside attacks and the Israel Defense Force has arrested numerous Hamas teams whose assignment very well could have been to overthrow Mahmoud Abbas forcing elections which they believe they are assured to win. Should they ever succeed and Hamas take over, things still would not be the Israeli’s responsibility.

The final two are actually to varying degrees Israeli responsibility. There are two areas which Israel has annexed, the Golan Heights and East Jerusalem. The Golan Heights, which the Israelis annexed to prevent the Syrians from murdering Israelis farming or people walking in the Galilee using snipers and occasionally artillery fire, was uninhabited; as it was entirely a military zone under the Syrians. With the current situation in Syria and having the Islamic State often taking border areas as a result of the multifaceted civil strife, civil war, the Israelis annexing the Golan Heights now looks like brilliance. Israeli annexation of East Jerusalem, thus reuniting the city, should have been a no brainer as it had been formerly illegally held by Jordan whose annexation had been universally rejected even by the United Nations with only Pakistan and Great Britain recognizing the annexation, was performed simply to reestablish and making the Israeli capital city whole once more. The challenge was what should be done with the Arab citizens who previously had been citizens of the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Authority rejected these former citizens demanding that Israel accept them whole. Israel gave the East Jerusalem Arabs citizenship receiving the benefits of healthcare and free movement in Israel and the right to vote in Jerusalem elections. The remaining right to vote in national elections has been left to be addressed at some future time presumably after final status talks have been completed.

That leaves one final groups and the easiest group to explain. These are the Arabs who remained in their homes, farms, businesses and land in 1948 refusing to obey the demands of the Mufti of Jerusalem demanding they abandon their homes so the invading Arab armies could slaughter all they met as everyone remaining was to be considered a Jew, even the Arabs and some might claim especially the Arabs as punishment for not obeying the Mufti. After the war they retained their homes, farms, businesses and land plus were granted full Israeli citizenship along with everyone who remained in Israel during the war. This was regardless of religion, race or any other descriptor imaginable. They have equal rights including healthcare, voting, free access to travel, driving privileges with a driver’s license as well as serving as judges, Ministers in the Knesset, doctors, nurses, salespeople or any other profession. The one right the Arabs were not required to fulfill was mandatory military service. They may enlist, do not get us wrong, it is just they are not required to either serve in the military or do community service. But the majority of the Arabs that this group was all torn-up over their treatment are actually honestly mistreated either by being denied proper, free and open elections as the Arabs in Gaza under Hamas and the ones under the Palestinian Authority or are being held in camps within barbed wire and guarded to prevent escape despite many having direct relatives living just on the other side of the barbed wire and fencing.

But perhaps we should take a glance at who are the nations making up the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia. These nations are Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Sudan, The Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, The United Arab Emirates and Yemen. There are a few items of interest. First thing we noted was that Israel is obvious in its omission despite being located centrally within the area. The next item of interest was the inclusion of Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco and the Sudan as none of these are in any part of Asia; they are all located in Northern Africa. The last thing we noticed, well, all right, the first thing, actually, was that none of these nations are exactly on the best of terms with Israel. Jordan and Egypt both have a cold peace with Israel with over eighty percent of Egyptians polled desire for Egypt to go to war and destroy Israel breaking the treaty which they find demeaning. Almost every, if not every, nation on the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia are also signatories to the Khartoum Conference where the “Three No’s” were established: “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” In reality all of this is simply another declaration by the same mouths from across the Arab world as those at Khartoum. This is the actual truth of this declaration and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia is that it will be similar in nature regarding Israel and will simply be a paper mill grinding out more and more useless denunciation of Israel with nary a dissenting opinion in similar manner as the General Assembly. Simply ask Ban Ki-moon.
