Jewish Disconnect Between Israel and America

The disconnect is only superficially due to politics, though this does play an important role. The real difference needs be told, one separate from the other. The reason is that the disconnect has different roots in each sphere. The first thing which needs to be admitted is that the Jews in the United States are not all left wing, progressives belonging to the Democrat Party. There are a number of Republican Jews who are conservative in the United States who pale in numbers compared with the liberal Jewish establishment. There are leftist Jews in Israel who are of a sizable presence largely centered around Tel Aviv and most of the remainder in Jerusalem. This is not to claim that there are none in our little corner, we have some dear friends who hold leftist views. What is amazing is that though leftist Israeli Jews probably agree with their fellow liberal Jews in the United States on most social issues, they differ when it comes to the anti-Israel and anti-Zionist leftist radical in the United States. The conservative minority in the United States is more closely aligned with the conservative Jews in Israel with few exceptions beyond some religious perceptions about Israel and whether she should have waited for the Messiach to come and found the new Jewish State (there are some Jews in Israel who actually agree with this sentiment). This article will be dealing largely with the liberal and leftist Jews in the United States as they are the majority and the nationalist-conservative Jews in Israel as they are also the majority (though not by as great a percentage though that is changing).

The first thing is evidenced on numerous college and university campuses where young Jews protest Israel and tout the Arab Palestinian mantras all of which are calls for the destruction of Israel as the Jewish State. There are numerous American Jews who would need to be pushed forcefully before they would ever consider making Aliyah and moving to Israel. They believe that the United States is the new “Promised Land” and that Israel is simply a quaint little nation which is nice but not really anything central to their lives. This is a fiction which has infected the Jews time and time again throughout the ages. The Jews are a people whose desire to find perfection of the human society which often leads them astray. The Jews are often at the forefront of new ideas, be they societal or political and, as both things go through cycles, they often are treading on ground which was traveled before and ended with the same tragedy which their new great hope will eventually reach. Perhaps some bit of an explanation with recorded historical realities will make this more clear.

Everyone has probably heard the Exodus story about how the Jews were led by Moses from slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land of what is today Israel. What was likely left out of the telling is that not all the Jews left Egypt with Moses. Jewish oral history notes that approximately twenty-percent of the Jews left Goshen and Egyptian rule to take what must have seemed to be a perilous trek across the desert and through numerous lands each with their own peril. The greater majority chose to remain in Egypt where food was plentiful, their days were ordered by their Egyptian rulers, and they had few decisions or responsibilities for leading their own lives. Further, Egypt, for them, was the great empire which would last forever and was the future and the easier road to salvation. One may ask what ever happened to those Jews who remained in Egypt. They assimilated and were never hear from again. Those Jews who do not heed Hashem’s call to follow the proper path will find themselves cutoff from their brothers and sisters only to perish from the history of the Jewish People. Even those who left Egypt with Moses did not all take the entire journey to the Promised Land and skipped the forty years in the desert. We know this as there has been Jewish styled artifacts found in the Greek Isles along with other items from periods well before Alexander the Great unified the Grecian city-states. These artifacts even predated the First Temple. Those who went with Moses are the lineage of the modern Jews.

After reaching the Holy Lands, the Jews had a long and fruitful number of centuries before there came a divide over who was the rightful heir to the throne after King Solomon. The kingdom split and became the northern Kingdom of Israel consisting of ten tribes and their priesthood and the Kingdom of Judea which consisted of two tribes and their priesthood. The northern kingdom was conquered by the Assyrians and was lost until modern times and was referred to as the ten lost tribes of Israel. The southern kingdom of Judea was eventually conquered by the Babylonians. The Babylonians fell to the Persian Empire led by Cyrus the Great who allowed the Jews to return to the Promised Land and were told to rebuild their Temple. Once more we are told that a mere twenty-percent of the Jews returned with the remainder enamored with the greatness of Persia. These Jews were all but assimilated believing that Persia was the entire future of humankind. These Jews got a reality check from which we get the story of Purim. Hamas convinced the king that the Jews were disloyal and supported their kingdom over his rule. The king ordered that the Jews be exterminated only to find out his queen was a Jewess. The king them allowed the Jews to defend themselves on the ordered day for their extermination and the Jews prevailed. Still, these Jews did not all immediately pick up and head for Jerusalem. A mere pittance, a remnant, chose to return to the Promised Land.

Persia fell and on came Alexander the Great and the Greek Empire. Once again, there were a large percentage of the Jews living in the Promised Land who were mystified by the Greeks and their philosophy. These Jews were referred to as Hellenistic Jews though their attachment to Judaism was far from perfect. Many Jews became so overcome by the Greeks and they believed that this was the end of history and surely the Greek Empire would rule the world. Well, then came Rome and the Roman Empire with its glory and wealth and again Jews left their faith in the belief that this must surely be the new age which would last eternally. These Jews disappeared when Rome fell or held out until Byzantium fell. The Jews who have remained loyal to their faith, as well as any other Jews the Romans felt were undesirable, were dispersed throughout the Roman Empire with some sold into slavery to peoples outside of the empire. This was largely responsible for the Jews ending up spread throughout Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa.

Here again, the Jews ended up split into two separate groups each with their own difficulties. Many are very familiar with the trial and tribulations faced by the Jews across Europe and Russia. They faced pogroms, forced conversions, inquisitions, purifications and expulsions often sending them almost all the way across Europe seeking a safe refuge to restart their lives. The Jews who lived in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) were soon ruled by the Caliphate as the Islamic Empire spread across the MENA region. These Jews also faced persecution which is seldom recorded in history as the European historians accepted what they were told by the Muslims as the reality and that everybody lived in peace and harmony. This is what is referred to as Taqiyya. Jews under Islamic rule, same as Christians, were persecuted and faced forced conversions. Whenever things went awry and times were difficult, whether in Europe or under Islamic rule, the Jews were often the scapegoat and faced threats to their existence often resulting in mass executions. Such times could be economic, a plague, famine, floods or any calamity whether manmade or natural. The difficulties faced by these Jews resulted in many converting both under duress and by choice seeking to improve their lives. Even after conversion, former Jews were watched with suspicion that they were secretly practicing Judaism, and some actually were such as the Moranos of Spain during the Inquisition.

The Jews residing in the region of MENA faced the perils of the Islamic and later the Ottoman Empires with the additional challenges Jews faced virtually everywhere on the globe. The Jews of Europe spread to the New World along with their respective countries as they established colonies. This simply served to spread the Jews even further around the world. Back in Europe, the Jews faced new threats and found new saving ideas and movements which they joined often with great hopes. One such cause was Communism which a number of Jews supported believing the ideals of community and shared property would bring equality and they expected acceptance. That was short lived as Stalin would enact numerous laws which victimized Jews and the Soviet Pogroms were just as horrific as were the pogroms under the Czars. The one deception which can be attributed to the Czars was the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. What was one of the most damning things about the purges of Jews by Stalin and the Holocaust by the Nazis was the fact that Stalin blamed the Jews for the rise of fascism while Hitler blamed the rise of Communism on the Jews. Often, when looking at Jewish history, it is a story of damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Also as part of the Jewish history in Europe, it included being forced from the British Isles, the Spanish Inquisition, the purification of France and of Italy and numerous other persecutions by one nation after another. The Jews were blamed for the plague, droughts, economic difficulties and even for practicing the only trades they were permitted, as most European nations forbid Jews owning land as land equaled wealth. The main profession other than trades of smithing, tailoring, butchering and the like, was exchanging money and allowing for trade outside of bartering as well as providing capital for investing. They were accused of usury often when a person of prominence was unable to repay their loan and decided that the solution was to blame the Jew who lent them the capital as having the Jew killed or run out of town freed them from their debt, read the Merchant of Venice written by William Shakespeare who wrote the tale in a period while Jews were barred from Britain. The truth is that for the most part, the Jews never saw their lives in Europe or across MENA as living in the age which was the end of history and capable of ruling the world and accepting them.

This brings us to the New World and in particular, the United States. Many American Jews believe, as their forefathers had mistakenly believed before them, that the United States was the future and the new Promised Land. This did have periods of difficulty but the United States despite not fully accepting the Jews until most recently, still allowed the Jews to enjoy all the freedoms and opportunities, even if some businesses refused to hire Jews. There was that brief but traumatic episode with General Grant and his General Order No. 11 (1862) which ordered the expulsion of all Jews in his military district, comprising areas of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky. General Grant laid the blame for black market activity, largely regarding cotton, on the Jews and ordered their expulsion and the confiscation of their lands and properties. The order was rescinded by President Lincoln, but not before most of the damage was done. After the Civil Rights movement gained equal rights for minorities, the Jews became convinced that at long last they had found the new age and the perfect land where they could remain and live in perfection. There have been some number of American Jews who have made Aliyah and live in Israel, probably well under twenty-percent which has historically been the norm. The Jews were not alone this time in their belief the time for the end of history has arrived. Francis Fukuyama, an American political and economic scientist, wrote a book titled, “The End of History and the Last Man” after the fall of the Soviet Union claiming that war and human conflict were not likely in the future as Capitalism had proven superior and there were no future discordances as all the important and potential for conflict had reached their definitive solution. He claimed that with the fall of Communism and the Soviet Union and the end of Fascism after World War II, all the opposition to liberal democratic capitalistic philosophy had been eliminated. Unsurprisingly, Mr. Fukuyama has reached a momentous conclusion, he has postponed the end of history.

There has been a rise anti-Semitism throughout the Western World and beyond. Most of the nations within MENA expelled their Jews after the founding of Israel in protest of the founding. This may have backfired as these over three-quarters of a million Jews into Israel and their descendants make up approximately half of the Israeli population. As an aside, we have seen the mixing of the European Jews with the MENA Jews which will make Israel truly a nation of a united and unique Jewish nation. There have been genetic studies which have shown that the European Jews are genetically similar with the same genetic roots as the MENA Jews. The similarity was to such an extent that those who conducted the studies were shocked at their findings as they were expecting that these two groups which had been separated for almost two millennia would definitely have departed genetically and it was next to impossible. Their conclusion decided that the Jews placed such an importance at marrying within the faith, that despite their residing apart would have led to their drifting apart through intermarriage and other means which would have led to genetic differences. The remaining Jews outside of Israel now reside predominantly in Europe and North America with pockets found spread around the globe. This is why the rise in anti-Semitism is mostly relegated to these two areas as well as the few pockets. This was brought to a head with the recent blowup over the anti-Semitic tropes used by recently elected Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. Despite this extremely public display, it has had a fairly little if any effect in the American Jewish community. Many Jewish communities within the United States are, unfortunately, excessively insular where they act very much as an echo chamber which ignores much of the outside world beyond their work. This was just the apex of the rising anti-Semitism which was evidenced by rising attacks on Jews in Brooklyn in some of the most heavily Jewish areas. These attacks are simply the tip of the iceberg which is being underplayed by the American Jews as it impinges upon their belief that the United States is the Promised Land and it will be the great haven for Jews forever into the future. If only they were correct, such would make even the Jews in Israel happy, as we want only the best for all of our brethren.

The one quirk is that most of the Jews in Israel also see America through rose-colored glasses thinking that it is a golden land. Apart from they are correct, that is now and we can only wonder about the future. Were this to be true, it would be the first nation in history to break the Tytler Cycle (see below) which presents the stages societies have historically followed. Many of the ancient societies only were able to go around this cycle once before they were overrun by the next rising empire on their initial pass around the Tytler Cycle. The Jewish people have been around this circle far too many times and should have learned, but Jews are optimists if nothing else. Well, most Jews are optimists and our editor is the exception that proves the rule. But our editor is an exception in too many ways to even list. Any in-depth study of history proves the validity thus far in human experience of the Tytler Cycle, especially with the rise and fall of the early empires, the numerous rising and collapses of China and Japan, the rise and fall of the numerous European nations with some making their way around the circle more than once. There are arguments as to where on the cycle one finds the United States. The different opinions place it anywhere from Complacency to Apathy with some claiming Dependence. Jews in Israel have a view of the United States which is probably looking at her as she was a couple of decades ago and also refuse to recognize the rising anti-Semitism. Perhaps this is a blindness which has plagued Jews over all of history which would explain to some extent why they remain in nations and do not leave at the first signs that their acceptance is crumbling before their eyes. Whatever the reason, the next decade or two will be very crucial in determining whether or not the Jews have any future in the United States. Should the political climate, especially on the left where the majority of the Jews align, continue in taking the tack which recent events may be a preview, Jews will face an end to their acceptance in the United States. This will also shock the majority of Israeli Jews who believe that the United States and Israel are attached at the hip and never to part. They believe that America has always been a staunch ally of Israel completely oblivious to the fact that the United States did not begin to support Israel militarily until the early 1970’s. We know this because we have had to prove this repeatedly. This is their corollary to the belief that Israel cannot survive without the aid provided by the United States. We discussed this in depth here. As we have predicted, the day will come, and in the not that distant a future, when the aid from the United States will cease and it will probably do so precipitously and, in the eyes of most Israelis, with little or no warning signs. That is the extent of their willful blindness.

Tytler Cycle of Power in Governance

Tytler Cycle of Power in Governance

So, what are our conclusions from all of these presumed observations? This is where we often get into deep trouble. The most obvious is that America and Israel will probably go their separate ways after a messy divorce which will astonish Jews in both nations if not the entire globe. It will not be long after this that Jews start to find that they are not as welcome in many of the cities within the United States. There will be a slow but steady increase in acts of anti-Semitism in the United States only slightly lagging behind the same across Europe. Along the road to this end, the Jews will find themselves supplanted in the Democrat Party by Islamic interests. Jews will find themselves endangered on college and university campuses as one of the earlier warning signs. Synagogues will initially require guards when holding services and eventually require around the clock active protection provided by security companies who will place guards, and later armed guards, to protect them from attack. The same will occur for Jewish schools, daycares and organizational headquarters. Then their homes will come under attack and they will be advised to remove their mezuzahs from their doors for their safety as was temporarily advised for the Jews residing in the North of London or as happened in a community in San Francisco. (This article gives a summary of some of the incidents where this has occurred) With time, more American Jews will end up following their European counterparts in making Aliyah to Israel. The reality is that once the United States does turn on their Jews, other than Israel there will be no safe place to run. The world is going to spit out their Jews one region after another and the Jews in each place will be shocked and astonished with many not understanding what has happened and why they are being treated as they are. This has already struck the Jewish members of the British Labour Party despite the protestation of Jeremy Corbyn; the person one might claim is the ringmaster of the quickly rising anti-Semitism within the British left and the one facilitating the cover-up. At some point, the United States will have telegraphed the coming Jewish apocalypse when their support for Israel rapidly dries up and Israel is cast adrift by the United States. For this reason, we have advised as many as we are able to reach that Israel must begin to produce her own armaments, aircraft, ships, submarines and all other military equipment as she will soon find herself without any true friends. We realize that between nations there is no such thing as friends, simply nations with shared interests which are always subject to change. Israel is going to find that these shared interests are going to be changing and doing so rather fast unless the world takes a turn and alters its current trajectory. This coming alteration in the world and its alignments is a subject which we are likely to come back to from time to time with an ever-greater urgency as we see the approaching tipping point. Currently, this point is outside of our vision but the warning signs are so evident that its inevitability unfortunately appears to be unavoidable. Many Israeli and American Jews will be shocked by the progressing events and will refuse to believe those who predict them. Just as Jews were late in fleeing the Nazis, the Spanish Inquisition, the edict in Persia, the pogroms under the Czar and the purges under Stalin in Russia and so many other periods and times when they could have avoided torture, dispossession, expulsion and death, so will they remain in denial across Europe and in the United States and elsewhere never believing it could happen here. This was the response which Ze’ev Jabotinsky met when he warned the Jews in Eastern Europe that they needed to leave and move to the Promised Land even if they had to walk the entire way when he visited in the early 1930’s. This has been the reaction we have received from Jews we spoke with about this in the United States before we came to Israel and was also the reaction we received from our gentile friends. There is one gentleman with whom we are in steady contact who also denied what was coming and has told us, “You were right again and why don’t I ever believe you about these things.” We have faith he will learn before it is too late. We just hope that the Jews in the various regions, as they turn ugly, realize in time to safely relocate and return home to Israel. One last cautionary note, even after virtually every Jew has left the world and returned to Israel, Israel will still be the nation most scorned and regularly condemned by the United Nations, its various agencies and the vast majority of the nations on the planet despite her continuing to share her advancements, discoveries, innovations, medical procedures, computing software and the other various areas where Israel is one of the leading nations in such improvements.

Steps to Real Israeli Deterrence

Establishing deterrence has been a topic of debate amongst the Israeli leadership. There is one main problem, and that is the fact that currently the Prime Minister is also the Defense Minister as well as holding two other Ministerial positions making him almost a majority all by himself. Israel is currently in a frightful position as it appears that Prime Minister/Defense Minister/almost the entire government in a person Bibi Netanyahu has been struck with a dreaded condition we refer to as Galutitis, which is defined as being frozen to inaction over an overbearing fear of what others will think or possibly react. In the case of Netanyahu, his fears appear to be over what the Europeans will think, say or do. He is so tuned into what the world including the always-oppositional United Nations and its numerous appendage organizations, that he freezes when the time comes to approve military action. The result has been that he orders the military to use roof knockers, to allow everyone in a location to be struck time to depart the building, that includes the terrorists and their leadership, so that when the building is struck, not a single hair on anyone’s head is even singed. So Hamas launches rockets which in the last barrage did kill one Palestinian Arab living in Israel illegally, karma, and did cause a degree of damage while the IDF struck a number of Hamas structures resulting in virtually no casualties. Hamas aims to murder as many civilians and had one shell recently land in a kindergarten a mere twenty minutes before it opened to tens of children, and Israel does everything possible to only strike empty buildings. This is not the means to establishing any deterrence.

So, what would it take to establish a serious deterrence which would allow for Israel to feel a prolonged period or possibly even permanent peace? That is a sticky proposition. When the main aim if those who are attacking you is to die in the process such that they gain immortality in their next life with seventy-two raven haired perpetual virgins and endless wine which does not ever make one ill but simply provides a pleasant sensation where there are streams, waterfalls and fields of grass in a pleasant atmosphere and every day is perfect; then threatening their lives does nothing as death is their ultimate goal after killing as many innocents as possible. This is often why terrorists refuse to surrender and start shooting at an entire platoon of IDF soldiers simply to get to the virgins and perfect lush green land with streams and waterfall. This fact that the terrorists often enter into their attacks hoping to end up dead and there have been a fair number who would continue attacking even after police or IDF forces came upon the scene often charging at the armed official personnel screaming “Allahu Akbar” with their weapon in the ready attempting to be shot and killed. Some, even after being shot and injured and caught being surrounded by IDF soldiers all of whom are armed only to have these injured terrorists jump to their feet and attack the soldiers repeatedly for as long as they are physically able in their attempt to be killed and sent to a better life. The problem Israel faces is how to deter people to whom death is a desired end. This is the dilemma facing Israeli leadership and is not going to be an easy one to find a solution as threats to the actual terrorists will be absolutely useless as there exists no threat which would actually deter their attacking Israelis, and often Israeli unarmed civilians.

Since the terrorists are seeking immortality in the next life which they are told they will be guaranteed such rewards should they die while attempting or actually murdering Israeli civilians, guaranteeing that any terrorist caught in the act will not be taken into custody but instead will be shot dead at the scene of their attack would probably encourage more rather than less terrorism. What should Israel threaten, that they will catch all terrorists and treat them with kid gloves and place them in a place where we will keep them well fed and medically treated such that they have a long life in this world? Obviously, Israel is going to have to think outside the box, so to speak, and find something which the terrorists will fear sufficiently such that they will be forced to think twice before committing any acts of terror. Israel attempted house demolition which the Palestinian Authority (PA) answered by building new homes right where the destroyed house used to sit. The PA has also promised to provide the terrorist, should they survive, or their family, should they succeed in reaching that life after with or without the promised virgins and perfect green and water-filled world, a salary based on the numbers of Israelis killed and other particular bonuses for certain other delineated options, which is greater than the average salary of PA employees, for the rest of their lives or as long as the PA continues to be so generously funded by Western nations, particularly European nations and the European Union. In Gaza, the economy is in such a state that unless you are in the business of smuggling items for Hamas and Islamic Jihad or other support of their terrorist war, that you are left living a life destitute simply because the governance is a terrorist group which diverts virtually all the provisions, materials provided for infrastructure and cash flow into their terrorist endeavors such as building tunnels within Gaza, infiltration tunnels into Israel which get destroyed, rocket production, mortar production and whatever is the most recent terror weapons which has established an upper class. The terrorist efforts which is the main goal of Hamas and Islamic Jihad takes virtually all of the economic production leaving nothing for a healthy working class in Gaza so the people have mostly lost hope and simply follow the government line that their poverty is caused by Israel and only by destroying Israel and murdering the Jews will their lives improve. To the north, Hezballah is funded and armed by Iran and attacks Israel when ordered to do so by Iran and for that there is no deterrence unless the fanatic leadership in Iran can be threatened, and even that is not necessarily guaranteed that it would work.

If at this point you are thinking that each of the three terror fronts poses different forms of threat, each with its own formula and that none of them could be deterred by any of the normal routes which have proven to be deterrents in the past, you are quite perceptive. There is only one thread which runs through all three threats, they are in specific regions and all their eggs are pretty much in one or two baskets for each group. Hang with us as we build this up and assemble the only means that Israel has to deter aggressions against her people and secure her borders. The first threat which should be addressed should be either the threat in Gaza from Hamas and Islamic Jihad or the threat in the Shomron where the PA governs. The first thing one need recognize is that both of these zones are ruled by terrorist groups despite what Britain’s Jeremy Corbyn says. The first fact which need be established is what were the intended borders for the Jewish State derived from the 1922 San Remo Conference and agreements reached between the British and the Zionist Congress to permit for the Arab state of Jordan east of the Jordan River and the Jewish State of Israel west of the Jordan River before the British gifted the Golan Heights to the French Mandate region giving it to Syria and denying it to Israel. The best way to establish this is to show the map below which shows exactly what we are describing. Any final determination which actually will provide Israel with defensible borders and fulfill the promises made between the two World Wars in a number of treaties, will serve to provide additional security for Israel. With this understanding of the reality under International Law and enforceable by the United Nations under Article 80 of their Charter where they assumed the responsibility for the establishment of the Mandate systems established after World War I by the League of Nations, can guide the final determinations as to what borders are required satisfying all the necessary requirements. All of this is easily proven and does not recognize any additional Arab state west of the Jordan River or in Gaza and under these established laws, while there must be no interference in the religious, economic and numerous other rights of the Arabs residing within the Jewish State, the rules of these treaties allows Israel to refuse them political rights. This means that while Israel must be as cordial and allow the Arabs and any others who are not Jewish to continue with their lives largely unaltered, Israel is not required to permit them to have the vote and could do as they have allowed the Arab communities to rule themselves in local areas but not have the vote in national elections, this is how the Arabs are in the annexed eastern Jerusalem, they can vote in Jerusalem elections but not in Israeli national elections. Now to discuss the deterrence which must be found if Israel and the surrounding Arabs can find some way of coexistence without either side attempting to murder the others.

Map of the lands promised to the Zionist Congress and inviolable and sacrosanct for all time by Great Britain and the League of Nations as an addendum to the Mandate System which makes this promise also enforceable by the United Nations and considered equal to a treaty through Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. This was also considered as an element incorporated to the San Remo Conference which is also applicable in modern times.

The initial step to forming a safe and secure Israel comes from responding to any assault upon the body of Israel such that it ends any threat from the region which is causing the distress. For argument sake, this paragraph we will be looking at Gaza and addressing the PA in the next paragraph. Eventually, even if Israel completely ignores all else and continues providing electricity and natural gas to Gaza despite their not paying for these provisions, Hamas or Islamic Jihad will be ordered by Iran to launch attacks on Israel. Upon the second, no later than the third, day of rockets raining down upon innocent Israelis and regardless of whether they are striking only in the Negev Desert or have the temerity to strike Tel Aviv, Haifa and/or Jerusalem, Israel should announce an ultimatum that if the launching of projectiles, even including the incendiary balloons and kites, does not completely halt by sundown, then the people of Gaza may not see the next sunrise. When one of these ultimatums is ignored, which actually will probably be the first time, then Israel should completely destroy every site used by the terrorists, destroy every rocket making machine shop, level the homes of every Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders’ homes, destroy the mall, the water park, the fancy restaurants and everything which those who live comfortably off of the terror war treasure and then the next morning make the final announcement. The final announcement will be simple, the population of Gaza has to decide what they want. If they wish to remain, then they will accept Israeli law and rule living in peace, then they will feel the benefit of real governance which is not based on terrorism and the destruction of Israel at the cost of the people and their futures. Those who wish to depart and begin their lives elsewhere, Israel will provide a small incentive to assist with their beginning anew. The amount could arguably be anything from twenty-five-hundred dollars to as much as twenty-thousand dollars, using dollars so that the currency would be accepted anywhere on the planet, and we promise not to chase after you. Finally, anyone who refuses both offers and plan on continuing the terror war, know that Israel will solve these threats in a biblical manner. For those who are unsure what that means, it means we will come and kill you, your family, your animals, your vehicles, your home, your business and those of your family and all those who assisted you and their families. That might provide an idea that Israel has decided the war from Gaza must end and are taking back the area as we were promised we could by the world when in 2005 we disengaged from Gaza to provide the Palestinian Arabs a chance to prove they could live in peace and instead they gave us terror wars and no peace. The entirety of the leadership of the various terror groups, should they survive the night, will be sent packing with a warning that should they return, they will be shot on sight.

In the Shomron where the PA believes that, they were promised that Israel could be forced back within the Green Line by the Oslo Accords. That is about as wrong headed as they could misinterpret what was stated. The region was divided into three regions, Area A, Area B, and Area C. Area A was recognized as belonging to the PA and where they would rule without Israeli assistance or interference unless they desired such. Area C was to be given for Israeli settlement and to become part of Israel. Area B was the region where cooperative rule was the case and was the region where borders were to be determined with the PA and Israel each being able to claim parts of that region. Even before anything further comes along, Israel needs to annex all of Area C leaving Areas A and B and even small regions of Area C such that these regions are interconnected making a smooth border between what is Israel and leave the remainder to the PA. This should be done immediately as it would provide a wake-up call for the leadership of the PA, also known as Mahmoud Abbas, that Israel was done with his games and the false negotiations which has been used to drive Israel from lands which are legally hers. The reality is that all of these areas belong to Israel under International Law unless Israel officially disengages from the land in permanence, something which Oslo Accords was not establishing. Should the PA through their various means of instigating a general uprising, usually incited with claims that the Jews are destroying the Dome of the Rock or desecrating the al-Aqsa Mosque just as Mahmoud Abbas did causing the stabbing Intifada using the video below, then Israel would be required to act. Such announcements are used by Mahmoud Abbas and the other leadership of the PA use to cause an uprising which they then claim is completely caused by Israel. Upon such instigation in the future, Israel need warn Mahmoud Abbas that Israel will no longer tolerate such instigations fomenting terrorist violence. Should he continue or allow the leadership to continue to foment terrorism, then Israel should simply remove all of those who are part and parcel of the PLO and other terrorist functions in their regions. Israel could then inform the leadership and security forces of the PA, should they persist in their calling for violence and the death of Israelis, they will no longer be welcomed within the borders of Israel which does include their regions. Then, should they ignore that last warning, the final warning is that they have until sunset to leave Israel including all the lands west of the Jordan River or they will be eliminated. That night, the IDF under guidance and direction of the Israeli intelligence, they should arrest all of the leadership of the PA, PLO, Fatah and the security forces simply eliminating all of those who resist. The next morning we would then place these leaders on an aircraft and take them to a prearranged foreign nation where they would be allowed to take refuge knowing that should they ever set foot within Israel ever again, they will be shot dead. Then the remainder of the people of the PA will be provided the same options as were described be given in Gaza. Israel should also offer the same incentive for anyone living in Israel who would rather live elsewhere.

Hezballah in Lebanon is a completely different situation as they are the military anti-Israel and anti-Zionist solution and continuous threat to Israel. Hezballah follows pretty much the same rules and follow the same usage as does the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) with the one basic difference being that the IRGC is used to perform attacks anywhere in the world such as the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina building bombing in Buenos Aires (see image below). The IRGC is also suspected of the bombing of the Israeli embassy in the same time period in Buenos Aires. As Hezballah is located in Lebanon, they are not in lands which were in any way promised Israel. Their attacks, as they are now a major part of the governance in Lebanon, are now also a state of war between the two nations. Additionally, the United Nations Security Council established and empowered UNIFIL to establish and enforce a demilitarized zone in southern Lebanon in order to end the threat from Hezballah and prevent their establishing bases and attack formations along the Israel border. A simple answer is that they absolutely failed and should be removed before they are used by Hezballah as human shields for their command and control bunkers which many are built adjacent to UNIFIL offices and depots. Past Hezballah usage of civilian housing from which to launch rockets, for ambush sites and storage of munitions, rockets and other equipment necessary for their attacks conveys their propensity which infers that they would use the UNIFIL forces as human shields. Since the UNIFIL presence is in no way any deterrence to Hezballah actions along the border and in the future could become human shields, they should be removed and declared a failure. This would be wise as a means of preserving their lives and cutting the cost of an otherwise useless effort.

Hezballah is currently armed with one-hundred-fifty-thousand rockets and, using Iranian provided guidance packages, have started altering their larger rockets into guided missiles. Any provocation by Hezballah need be taken up initially with the government of Lebanon. They would need to be told that they are responsible for preventing attacks by Hezballah from their territory. Israel should then issue a declaration of war against Hezballah and Lebanon as a response to provocations coming from within Lebanon. The reason for declaring the war on both parties is due to the fact that they are inseparable and in order to fight Hezballah, it becomes necessary for Israel to attack much of Lebanon south of the Litany River, the Bekaa Valley as well a southern Beirut as all of these are regions used by Hezballah. Israel should also inform Hassan Nasrallah, the promoted leader of Hezballah, that he will be one of the first targets which Israel will strike. He probably believes that because he almost never comes above ground that Israel does not know where he is hiding, he should not be feeling so safe. When it comes to Hezballah, there would be no use using the same offers used for Gaza and the PA region as the members of Hezballah are in the pay of Iran and chose to exist solely for the sake of the destruction of Israel upon orders from Iran. There is no means of deterrence possible concerning Hezballah because they are an arm of the Iranian military world forces and they are dedicated to destroying Israel, a similar desire as their Quds Force which is dedicated to the capture of Jerusalem. With Hezballah, there are no incentives which would influence their actions as they are under orders as they come from Tehran and the Iranian government, specifically their Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. When the time comes that Iran turns Hezballah loose on Israel, the only choice Israel will need make is whether they desire expanding this coming war which is unavoidable, should they also take out as much of Iranian leadership as is readily attainable. As far as Hezballah is concerned, Israel should use all the force which is readily available for targeting Hezballah positions throughout Lebanon, Syria and anywhere else they may be located even to include Iraq. Once the entirety, or as close as humanly possible, of Hezballah forces, rockets, launchers, weapons stores, manufacturing and other infrastructure has been utterly destroyed, then Israel will need to face Iran and either extend the war to include Iran and their leadership, their military locations (especially the IRGC bases) and anything which does not cause the people to pay a price as they are not the enemies of Israel. Were we the ones who made these decisions, we would probably advise Iran that we have identified those responsible for the causing of the war with Hezballah and that perhaps they had made a potentially fatal mistake. Then we would select the most fanatical of those people and allow for them to have some terrible accidents. But any conflict with Hezballah need to be fought as a war between two nations, as Hezballah has already stated that they control the military of Lebanon. Israel could inform the Lebanese military that those forces which remained in stand down they would not be attacked but as soon as they appeared to be taking action, they would be targeted. Hezballah must not have any of its leadership and none of its military equipment surviving any conflict down to the last bullet. It needs to be a complete war with no quarter given from the very beginning as Hezballah has grown into an existential threat to Israel and as such, it cannot be permitted to have any abilities remaining from which to rebuild, period.

The final word on deterrence for Israel, that comes down to announcing a policy of no quarter for those who try to harm our people. The next step is to follow through completely on that promise. The price of targeting Israel must be made very expensive for any party which decides to target Israel. The tamping out flare-ups attempting to do the least amount of damage and completely avoid casualties of our enemies has proven completely ineffective. Continuing in this exact same scenario while our enemies continue to gain abilities to cause us more and more harm and casualties, then Israel will eventually be facing threats which will surpass anything we are capable of surviving. We have seen this with the continual increase in the threats from Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezballah to such a point that they each may not be capable of destroying Israel, but should all our enemies combine their forces, then the survival of Israel could be challenged. That is why Israel must take the stand that we will no longer suffer these malevolent threats with benign responses. We must meet force with far greater force and threats with total destruction such that none of these threats survives their attempts to cause us such threats. Never Again used to have meaning and it is time to return to such an approach to the threats out in the world as they are only going to grow with time, so it has come time that Israel return to the motto of Never Again.

Looking for Help in All the Wrong Places

Read a news flash a couple of days ago and was simply amazed at the inanity of the acts reported. According to the report, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu held a brief press photo op with the Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini in Jerusalem. Initially, after Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini was escorted into the office, Prime Minister Netanyahu can be seen pointing to a map of the region in or about the Israel-Lebanon border (video posted below). Then they exchange greetings and the Israeli Prime Minister thanks the Italian government for providing one of the commanding officers for UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon) and stated that he has a difficult position but needs to step up and fulfill their mission and prevent such incursions and other threats posed by Hezballah in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 limiting actions and presence of Hezballah south of the Litani River. The UNIFIL forces are positioned along the border with Israel well south of the Litani River tasked to prevent the militarization of the border by Hezballah, not an enviable task. The closing statement was a quasi insistence for the international community to address the recent incursions via infiltration tunnels by Hezballah into Israel. Israeli Defense Forces have recently uncovered several of these tunnels using the same technology they used to uncover the tunnels out of Gaza dug for the last several years by Hamas with assistance by Islamic Jihad. The reality of the situation is that Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezballah are all in the service of Iran and share their technology of tunneling while also providing rocket technology, and have lately been providing Hezballah with guidance systems to transform their lonest range rockets into precision guided missiles capable of striking any location in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu has already stated that this providing of these guidance systems to Hezballah is the crossing of a red line, which is endangering Israelis, and the safety of Israel and her future.

The pleading for international assistance in addressing the threats posed by Hezballah with Iranian assistance is almost laughable. Turning to the United Nations for assistance, even if it is to enforce their own United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, will fall on deaf ears. As it is, reports by the Wall Street Journal of the ineptitude of the UNIFIL forces in fulfilling their mission of preventing Hezballah from reestablishing their rockets, weapons, bunkers, tunneling and other infrastructure including stashing weapons in residential homes. The people who reside in these homes have no say in the decision, they either allow Hezballah to store rockets, launchers and weapons in their homes or they are evicted or worse, murdered. Iran has been utilizing civilian flights into Beirut International Airport to supply Hezballah with advanced weapons and the guidance systems. Iran has even gone so far as to upgrade weapons factories in Lebanon originally utilized by the IRGC to manufacture weapons for the Syrian civil war. Hezballah has weaponized the entirety of the region across the border from Israel and, for those paying attention to international news, have realized that Israel has uncovered at least two infiltration tunnels reaching into Israel from houses in Lebanon. All of this despite the presumption that Hezballah has been observing the limitations of UNSC Resolution 1701, which makes the entirety of the region of southern Lebanon pictured in the map below, supposed to be denied them by the UNIFIL forces.

It is the completely ridiculously ineffectiveness of the United Nations forces in southern Lebanon. To be entirely honest, we can understand that they would not care to fight a war for Israel in southern Lebanon, which is exactly what it would take to prevent Hezballah from doing whatever they desire. The main deterrence the UNIFIL forces pose is on Israel, preventing any intervention by Israel to weaken Hezballah or to use rockets, missiles, tank fire or other explosives to destroy the Hezballah munition stores. They also prevent any infiltration into Lebanon by Israel for reconnaissance or other means of sabotaging Hezballah positions. Israel is left to attempt to mitigate tunnels and other means of infiltration being built by Hezballah and worse, wait until Hezballah chooses the time of the next war. When Hezballah does attack Israel, which very well could come at the end of the Syrian civil war, they could very easily be supplemented by IRGC forces with heavy weapons attacking across the Golan Heights or even sweeping through northern Jordan and attacking from south of the Sea of Galilee. Israel would also be facing endangering those very same UNIFIL forces which are providing Israel no enforcement of the UNSC Resolution 1701 and simply watching as Hezballah rearms and rebuilds their military infrastructure south of the Litani River and upgrading their weaponry with generous assistance from Iran. Israel would be unable to immediately respond to any Hezballah offensive strikes until the UNIFIL forces have been provided ample time to remove themselves from the battlefield. They might even be held to their position by Hezballah in order to use them as human shields preventing any proper and all-out Israeli response. Israel need learn the simply lesson, nobody is going to risk their troop’s lives to enforce anything imposed on any terrorist group be it Hezballah, Hamas or any of the Arab militaries which the nations surrounding Israel have attacked with in the past. Israel should never again seek United Nations “protective services” as that only opens up other nations to becoming victims of Israeli fire, even more so should they be kept from leaving to serve as human shields. Those who may wish to mock such an idea really need to reconsider their position as they are dealing with terrorists who largely do not care about the lives of the children they use as human shields, do you believe they value UNIFIL troops’ lives with any greater regard? There will be another war started by Hezballah when they decide it is to their advantage or when Iran decides it is to their advantage. Should Iran make good on their threat to disallow any oil shipments to leave through the Straights of Hormuz should President Trump place an embargo on Iranian oil shipments, it would be tantamount to a declaration of war. Were Iran to follow through on their threat and sink even a single supertanker or the United States Naval vessels escorting such a tanker, they would be really needing something which would grab global attention and fast. Having Hezballah start a war with Israel while preventing the UNIFIL forces from departing just begging for a single Israeli round of artillery, tank fire or aircraft fire to strike any UNIFIL forces and Iran with whomever allies with them screaming about Israel murdering international observers in the United Nations General Assembly; that would be the perfect foil to take the heat off of Iran, at least for a moment or maybe a week or two. What the world has in place in southern Lebanon is a ticking bomb simple waiting for Iran to light the fuse with the full intent of sacrificing every last UNIFIL troop stationed in southern Lebanon so as to get the maximum protection against the Israeli Defense Forces and to have the world denounce and scold Israel for not simply absorbing six to ten weeks of rocket and missile fire and infiltrations from Lebanon by Hezballah while the United Nations attempted halfheartedly to extract the UNIFIL contingents all while demanding Israel stand down to protect these precious lives. After all, is not every UNIFIL troop worth at least five or six hundred Israeli’s lives? Trust me that the world will demand exactly such from Israel while they argue in futility with Hezballah to release the UNIFIL troops which Hezballah will claim are protecting the lives of Lebanese from Israeli military actions which Hezballah has been responding to as Israel started it by existing. And yes, there is absolutely no room for sanity in any of this as any other nation in the world would not stand for such on their border. If you want proof, we give you the Islamic State which Russia and the United States plus the European nations traveled as far as half way across the globe to address that terror problem which was not threatening any of these nations. There is your truth and in the meantime Israel has been searching out tunnels used for infiltration from Gaza and Lebanon and will only be a matter of time before Israel will be required to check along the Golan Heights for tunnels made by the IRGC when Iran deems it necessary. Do not get this wrong, all of these forces sitting perched to attack to try and destroy Israel are under the puppet-master’s strings and that puppet-master is the Iranian Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He may also hold the lives of the UNIFIL forces stationed in southern Lebanon as they may end up hostages serving as human shields.
