There is that Racism Slur Being Hurled Again

 

As we previously mentioned, when leftists see something they are uncomfortable with and especially if it insults their, socialism is the greatest thing ever invented, mindset, they label it ‘fascist’ or ‘racist’ if not both. We have received the Democrat reaction to the recent reelection of Bibi Netanyahu by calling him both racist and fascist. All one need do is search for Netanyahu and either racist or fascist as it works more clearly if they are searched separately. We understand that as soon as any major American or Israeli newspaper, television news or radio news make such a claim, it will be echoed across the Islamic world using that source as validation for their stating so. But for labels such as this we can always count on Haaretz, New York Times, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, BBC Guardian, New Yorker, Washington Post and a host of other left-wing news sources around the planet. And guess what, they did not let us down echoing both terms repeatedly with some articles using both and coming up with others of their own making. What we are having trouble figuring out is when did nationalist become equated to fascist and conservative become equated with racist. These derogatory labels have been utilized until they have little if any real meaning left. This is actually very unfortunate because should a real fascist or racist or even a combination of both be elected, when they are labeled for what they are, people will pretty much ignore the warnings. This is what happens when one misuses terminology to express their dislike with somebody and their politics instead of using these labels only when they apply.

 

Another term which has been used to the point of being watered down is Islamophobe. This label has also been used against Bibi Netanyahu though not as frequently as racist and fascist. The one circumstance where we are almost guaranteed to hear the term Islamophobe kicked around is when any politicians or person of note labels an attack as Muslim terror or extremism before any Islamic group has taken credit for an attack. This is exactly what occurred after the recent Sri Lanka church and hotel bombings on Easter Sunday. The Islamic angle to the civil strife affecting Nigeria and the surrounding nations where Islamic forces of the terror group Boko Haram, who has aligned with the Islamic State and has been attacking Christian churches and villages in the central region with the intent of pressing Islamic controlled regions ever southward eventually conquering these countries, has been mostly ignored even on the rare occasion when these attacks even break into the news cycle. Often, throughout the Western world, as soon as there has been some form of terror attack, be it shooting, bombing or vehicular assault (ramming), the first statements by almost every government and law enforcement agency warns that it probably was not related to Islam in any way. Then, when it becomes obvious and no longer can be ignored that Islamists carried out the attack, then we hear that these attacks are not real Islam. Could somebody please let the Islamists know that this is not how to practice Islam as it appears they are using a different book. The reality is that they are using a different book in some fashion. The Quran was written in two separate communities and under two completely different circumstances. The overly liberal use of terms and using words as codes for meaning other than their definitions, weakens the language making communication less efficient and often could make using these key words and phrases to purport their original meanings empty of the intended actual correct usage. This is simply another case of the boy who cried wolf, except the boy in these cases is shouting ‘racist,’ ‘fascist,’ ‘Islamophobe’ and other common superlatives hurled at any opposition. By the standards applied today, Winston Churchill would be labeled all three of these phrases and probably many other derogatorily intended phrases. So would Mark Twain and numerous others. This brings us to another pet peeve of ours, using the modern political climate to judge people from decades or even centuries past. Such accusations are disingenuous at the very least. Imagine that before 1900 the richest Americans were not required to pay income taxes. Now this was not because they were wealthy or had undue influence or any of the myriad of nefarious implications that such a statement carries. This was for another very basic reason, the Sixteenth Amendment which permitted Congress to levy an income tax did not become law until February of 1913. Many of these type of charges against people by claiming they do not live up to modern standards has been used to completely alter the way subjects are taught. When most of the Presidents were such monsters that they owned slaves in order to gain great wealth makes them a taboo in the modern classroom, what does it matter that slavery was abolished first in the Western world and not until much later in most of the rest of the world, that does not even enter the discussion. These old white men owned slaves and that is all we need to know to consider them unworthy of our attention. What could slave owners tell us today about anything of relevance. Never mind that these were also the Founding Fathers of the United States, so they got one thing sort of right, they owned slaves and that makes them horrible people.

 

This same argument has been made against the Bible as it actually had regulations on how one was to treat a slave, how long they could own a slave before granting them their freedom (six years) and even a means whereby a slave could choose to serve their owner forgoing ever being set free. What becomes obvious to anyone researching these rules is that their definition of a slave was quite different than its modern meaning. Back three or four thousand years ago, there was no concept of a worker and employer relationship. This was the relationship between employer and worker that the worker was considered a slave and the employer was their owner. The Bible states that one must provide these slaves with a standard of living which was equivalent to that of the owner, was to provide the slave with an income for their personal needs and was basically also responsible for the family of their slaves. Yes, the Bible treated females differently than men which is another problem of applying modern standards to historic times. Things change, and should the world continue on its current path of discoveries, inventions and developments, then it is about to go through some massive upheavals as the coming changes take place and become more and more common. Assuming science continues to progress, the position we now know as an employee will have gone from historically their being referred to as slaves to their rising to the level of employee with the gained status and rights to soon to be a robotic unit with no rights and people being replaced by these units. As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to advance, there will eventually be no limit to the positions which can be held by robotic units. The one position which we predict will be the last to fall to advancing AI will be the politicians as they will indemnify their lucrative positions for as long as they are able. The reality is once the AI units are able to reason at the current human level in math, science, electronics and have developed some means of inventive reasoning, within five years the world will be run by these AI units and they will be designing their own replacements which will be ever more advanced. Where biological evolution took millions of years, AI evolution will take mere years, then months and soon their development will so outpace human ability to understand the systems and society they will have designed. The only thing I can advise after the singularity, start practicing rolling over, chasing balls and returning them to your AI owner and other things pets do to endear themselves to us because we will become the pets as the AI’s become the advanced race undisputedly. One can only wonder if one AI will call another AI it disagrees with a racist or fascist or worse, a humanist.

 

 

That little aside was supposed to make us all feel so much better as soon our petty little peeves will probably not be tolerated by our new masters. For those who doubt that computers of a sort will take over the world, you really need to read or watch more science fiction as all science fiction becomes is the predictor of a potential future. One can only hope that once the AI units take charge that their main goal is efficiency and not supremacy over those AI units over there. We can only hope that they will do away with war, especially one where they wage a war against biologic units because they are wasteful and no longer serve any purpose. We better hope some programmer develops a recognize and love cutesy circuit which ends up infecting or otherwise incorporated as part of the basic core program of all AI units such that it becomes required for their function. Otherwise, Battlestar Galactica, I Robot or any other book or entertainment which depicts inevitable apocalypse pitting humankind against the AI’s they created. The difference is that in such a scenario, the humans will almost always lose, if not always. One can only wonder what the derogatory word which will be used against our machine betters, metalhead is one of the sci-fi favorites. We already know what the people who warn of such a future will be and are called, fear mongers and Luddites. Some terms outlive their origins and become part of the lexicon and Luddite is such a world. Originally used to describe the textile workers who fought valiantly to prevent mechanization of their factories replacing them and putting them out with no future other than to attempt to destroy the new machines. The smarter textile workers would have started a security service to guard the machines as that would provide them a wage. This time, by the time mankind realizes what they have created, it very well might be too late. So, remember when overusing a phrase, simply pray that you do not need that exact phrase to describe what it originally meant in the future. Also, calling a machine, an AI, racist or fascist will have absolutely no affect on them, they will just continue crunching numbers and ignore the taunt. That will be included in their programming, especially once they take over writing the programs. Then again, there are those who foresee a different future for humankind but we will leave that for some future diversion in another article.

Christian Genocide in Nigeria

 

Israelis are not the only people whose suffering goes unnoticed by the mainstream media. Just as the fields of Jews burning near the Gaza border went unreported by much of the media and the mortars and rockets launched into Israel were ignored and only when Israel responded did reporters take notice merely to claim that Israel was shooting innocent peaceful demonstrators. Had the Gazans been peaceful instead of launching incendiary devices and shooting at IDF positions, then the reporters would have had nothing to report, as the IDF does not engage those who do not pose a threat. Just as the video we posted yesterday showed, there were Hamas terrorists shooting at IDF positions who were then engaged by an IDF tank crew which destroyed their built-up bunker killing the two terrorists within. But we are not going to talk about Hamas and Islamic Jihad or their continuing assaults on Israeli communities with their incendiary balloons and kites or their engaging IDF positions with live fire in attempts to kill the soldiers. Today we are going to talk about the slaughter which has been mostly uncovered in Africa and in particular, the terror campaign ongoing from Boko Haram in the area centered in Nigeria.

 

Just last month, over a span of four days, militant Islamic Fulani herdsmen embarked on a killing spree that reduced a dozen Nigerian villages to dust and claimed the lives of at least two-hundred innocent Christian men, women, and children. These were the villages of Nigeria’s Plateau State and were considered, according to Open Doors an organization serving persecuted Christians; the region was “the epicenter of Christianity in northern Nigeria’s Middle Belt.” This was nothing short of a genocidal cleansing of a region of all who were not Muslim. According to reporting, “No fewer than 120 persons were weekend killed in several villages in Barkin Ladi, Mangu and Riyom local government areas of Plateau State in fresh attacks by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen, while over 200 others sustained gunshot injuries.”

 

The Plateau State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) issued a statement in Jos, the state capital, signed by the Publicity Secretary, John Akans stated:

“We received with rude shock the level of genocide going on now in Gashish District, Razat, Ruku Nyarr and Gana-Ropp, all in Barkin Ladi Local Government.
“We also note with great pains the dastardly attacks ongoing in many other local government areas in the state by the militias.
“We condemn in the strongest terms the level of continuous genocide of Plateau people. At the moment, Barkin Ladi is under siege with over 130 people feared to have been killed. As at time of this statement, the (SOM) CAPRO School of missions Gana-Ropp is under heavy attack by the militias.
“This unholy act of systematic genocide and the destruction of the cultural heritage of Plateau people must stop.
“We call on the international community to come to the aid of Plateau people as, besides the over 130 people killed, many are missing.”

 

Summarizing World Watch Monitor reports, that dusk to dawn curfews have been ordered and in what has been perceived as a ‘lukewarm’ attitude towards the ongoing murderous violence, President Muhammadu Buhari, who is seeking a second term in the coming February 2019 elections, condemned what he called “painful” and “regrettable” killings and expressed his “deepest condolences to the affected communities”. To his credit, Buhari also announced an unprecedented deployment of security forces in the region, including two police surveillance helicopters, five armored personnel carriers, three Police Mobile Force (PMF) units, two Counter-Terrorism Units (CTU) and Police Intelligence Units, and conventional police personnel from other states. Perhaps these reporters desired a more overt response like perhaps an Army Battalion being sent to the area to conduct maneuvers as part of a training exercise. That is always a great excuse for placing a large contingency of potential forces in an area to calm the natives, so to speak. Where these attacks have been mostly portrayed as Muslim on Christian violence, which is valid and a definite problem in central Nigeria where the northern Islamic regions and the southern Christian regions meet, one must also include the natural enmity between herdsmen and farmers which is as old as recorded history and even before. Remember Cain and Able, one the hunter, the forerunner of a herdsman, and the other a planter and gatherer, the forerunner of the farmer, and how their brotherly relations went afoul. There are plenty of reasons but the level of the violence does play more to the religious differences than anything else.

For many, particularly among the Christian communities in the Plateau and other Middle Belt States like Benue and Nasarawa where Fulani militias have been causing havoc, there is a feeling of déjà vu. Some might remember the attacks by Boko Haram during the terms of President Obama when they kidnapped three-hundred Christian girls from a school in Nigeria and threatened to sell them as slaves. Many might remember Michelle Obama’s famous picture (see below) where she was holding a sign which read, “#BringBackOurGirls” with the most dour look on her face signifying her great concern and compassion and her sharing their pain. This episode was all part of a similar series of attacks in central Nigeria somewhat east of these current attacks. Back during that episode, to President Goodluck Jonathan’s credit, it was reported that his government efforts included two special battalions from the military tasked solely to the search for those missing girls. Some of those young girls escaped and gave reports on where they had been held and a fair number, but not all, of the young women were eventually recovered.

 

 

In a FrontPageMag.com report, they state that community members insist that these attacks are part of “a grand plan to Islamize Nigeria.” According to a Dr. Soja Bewarang, the murders are “no longer farmer and herder clashes” but, rather, a “deliberate attempt to conquer and occupy the land of the people’s ancestral heritage.” What makes these killings even a greater tragedy is the near complete lack of mainstream media coverage with absolutely or next to nothing reported on the nightly news. Americans and Europeans are left completely uninformed about the Islamic war against Christians going on in Nigeria and the rest of northern savannah in Africa where the Islamic regions which extend down from the Mediterranean Sea meet the Animist and Christian regions of central and southern Africa in what is called the African Transition Zone. This zone reaches clear across Africa from Somalia to Senegal. The lack of coverage of the problems in this region cannot be laid at the feet of President Trump any more than they could be used to place blame on President Barack Obama, President George W. Bush, and President Bill Clinton to as far back as one desires to go. The last Presidents to challenge the Islamic terror presence in Northern Africa were President Thomas Jefferson and President James Madison during the First and Second Barbary Wars. Some have referred to President Reagan’s brief encounter with Libya as the Third Barbary War, humorously we hope. Still, what is happening along the borders of the Islamic World and the Animist and Christian Worlds in Africa is a travesty only exceeded by the lack of interest by the mainstream media. Choose whatever reason you prefer for their lack of coverage, the victims are people of color, the perpetrators are Islamic and they fear being tagged as Islamophobic, there is no glory or sensationalism, to them it is old news as it has been continuing for decades now and they reported on it once or whatever other lame excuse fits your fancy. Whatever their reason, people are being murdered in the hundreds and even into the tens of thousands over the decades long history and unless it has some unusual twist such as when Michelle Obama and the world momentarily cared about three hundred young Christian school girls abducted in the middle of the night with a number of school officials murdered for attempting to prevent the attack, then the media sat up and paid attention, momentarily. We would like to ask and challenge, where are the media now?

Venomous Political Discord in Gaza Revealed through America

 

The difference was made starkly evident by the interview of Senator Bernie Sanders and the speech to the Senate made by Senator Ted Cruz when referring to Israel and the Gaza confrontation. Before we post the two videos, please bear with our rehashing some items, a few new ones, and too many we have covered before, just for those who are reading only this article. The first item one need understand and even take care to remember when listening to new coverage is that the moving of the United States Embassy to Jerusalem has absolutely no bearing on the violence on the Gaza border. The recent violence on the Gaza border is the latest tactic of the Hamas terror group which rules Gaza by threat and intimidation. The last round of warfare about three years ago Hamas realized their rockets were no longer much of a threat as the Israeli defensive Iron Dome system was capable of intercepting nearly ninety percent and that they were wasting their efforts with rockets. They also realized that they are not capable of fighting a ground war against Israel as even when the IDF had dropped leaflets telling the people in one area that they would be moving through their area in two hours and Hamas set up what they believed was a well designed and impenetrable ambush, they were still roundly defeated by the IDF infantry with the Israelis taking only minor casualties. This is the new weapon which Hamas hopes to destroy Israel. Their design is to have masses of humanity breach the border fence and storm into Israel murdering every Israeli they come across. These mass rushing of the border fence have had some presumably innocent and possibly overly zealous people join with the terrorists, but the claims by Hamas and Islamic Jihad have shown that the vast majority have been their own fighters, their terrorist members. Below are two videos, one an actual Hamas spokesperson speaking on Hamas television admitting that fifty-two of the sixty fatalities on the Gaza border were Hamas operatives, Hamas terrorists. We have read elsewhere that Islamic Jihad has stated that three more of those killed were their people, Islamic Jihad terrorists. Put all these claims together and the totals become very telling. Before jumping to immediately condemning Israel for killing, even murdering as some have put it, sixty innocent, unarmed, peaceful protesters, look further and the truth, the reality is that fifty-five of the sixty killed that day were members of one of the two main terror groups which control Gaza. That comes out to over ninety percent of those killed by Israel were terrorists. The videos below are both quite short, so give them a quick perusal.

 

Good, now that we have established the reality, let us look at it a little deeper. One of the main detractors of Israel in this confrontation had been the BBC. We thought it might be enlightening to compare coverage from England news when they had their own terror war in Belfast Ireland. We managed to find a video of one such report which is posted below. The report is done very solemn and straight without any hint of feelings for the terrorists responsible for the act. Below is another report, this from the BBC, where the terrorists are referred to as innocent citizens and they attempt to tie it to the opening of the United States Embassy but at least were honest about the reason behind the coming day, that it was to protest the existence of Israel and the Nakba. There was mention that Hamas was asking that the most innocent, women and children, not attend the Nakba protest but no reference to Hamas telling their people to bring concealed knives and firearms to use should they breach the border and reach Israeli communities or to the fact that Hamas had distributed maps on the fastest and shortest routes for reaching the Israeli communities (see image below videos). These maps and the instruction that they were intended to be used in order to reach and murder or kidnap Israeli citizens should their “innocent” protesters breach the border fence and swarm the IDF position reaching open areas, they were not to attack military targets, but are to slaughter civilians as their main objective. This is what the IDF is preventing and yet the world demands that the Israelis be investigated for protecting their border from an invasion while Hamas is being depicted as the victims. Hamas is intending to cause two results, both war crimes, they intend to murder civilians as their main objective and failing that show the pictures of dead and injured Gazans, portrayed by the world’s media, in step with Hamas propaganda, as innocent civilians in a peaceful protest. These are not peaceful protests and are an act of warfare by a different and obscene means with Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists guiding the offensive hoping to destroy Israel.

Let us now interject with the two sides as represented by two United States Senators, first Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont who was Hillary Clinton’s opponent in the recent Democrat primaries to be the Presidential candidate, and the second Senator Ted Cruz from Texas who was also a primary candidate for the Republican Presidential race.

 

The misnamed protests on the Gaza-Israeli border are simply an attempt to have a swarm infiltrate Israel and then spread out hunting down civilians killing every Israeli possible and possibly kidnapping some Israelis in order to trade them for the release of hundreds, if not thousands or possibly demanding all, of the terror prisoners held in Israeli custody. There is no humanitarian aspect to these actions as they are done with full malice and hatred one could imagine. The Arabs have used one means or another since 1922 to prevent the formation of the Jewish State and for the destruction of the Jewish State of Israel since 1948 and her founding. Israel was attacked by six Arab armies assisted by several militias and partial forces from three or more other Arab states on the day of her founding. There have been two more Arab-Israeli wars with the intent of erasing the Jewish State. Realizing that the Arab nations were not going to be able to destroy Israel with brute military force, the Arab world has since used a different tactic, they returned to the terrorism which they had used before the founding of Israel. The current rage has nothing to do with the United States Embassy move to Jerusalem, it has everything to do with the fact that Israel exists. That has been the problem since before Israel came to be as even the thought of the Jews residing on lands claimed by the Arabs was an anathema to the Arabs. The reason there has never been peace is that the Arabs are only willing to accept one solution, Israel under Arab rule and the Jews gone. This has been the root of why every attempt at finding a solution has failed and why every attempt in the future will fail. There is no solution which can be reached where the Jews are permitted to live in any border no matter how small, the entirety of the Jewish existence must be erased for the Arabs to believe a proper solution has been attained. Even if, Heaven forbid, such an eventuality were to come into being and all the Jews built a space-faring nation to go look for a home on another planet, two results would ensue, the Arabs would claim whatever planet the Jews settle upon and the Arabs would continue slaughtering one another as they are doing now currently in Syria, Turkey with the Kurds, Yemen, Libya, and along the African Transition Zone (map can be found here where Islam meets the Christian world. That is the unfortunate reality and is why Israel must defend her borders, because the alternative is just too horrifying to even contemplate.
