Apparently Very Few Know the Actual Laws

 

We just read a fantastic article from Israeli National News Editorial Page titled “The myth of ‘land for peace’” written by Eli E. Hertz. Of course, we loved what he had to say as it mirrored much of what we state on a regular basis. He made one point which we would like to expound even further upon, namely, why does the world consistently use the Arabist terminology all the while ignoring the reality of international laws and much research which is readily available. Mr. Hertz specifically called out the world for their use of the phrase, “Occupied Palestinian Territories,” which he correctly identifies as a disingenuous term that misleads the international and every other community finding and worming its way into the lexicon used by all too many NGOs who rant against Israel. Mr. Hertz went through the actual documents from which international law is based, and as we have stated any number of times, all the lands between the Jordan River west to the Mediterranean Sea belong to the Jewish State of Israel. The sole means by which this can be altered is by having the Israeli government actually submit paperwork quitting claim to lands and gifting them to another legal governance. This is the reason that the Europeans, the NGOs, the United Nations, the Arab League, Mahmoud Abbas and all the rest of those opposed to the existence of the Jewish State press the Israeli government to formally recognize statehood of an Arab state carved out of parts of Israel. Some of their logic is breathtaking in its audacity and its unbelievably loose attachment to reality.

 

The first test of Arab claims comes from the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The General Assembly voted urging of the Palestinian Authority observer to request from the International Court of Justice a ruling on the legality of the Israeli terror wall, the wall which reduced suicide bombings to none within three years, with the hope of gaining a ruling which would lead to its dismantling such that the terrorist operations would not be hindered by the barrier. The barrier was cleared as being perfectly legal and within the rights of Israel as the sovereign over the region, but that was just the initial good news for Israel. In addition to being cleared of any wrongdoing, there was an advisory opinion issued as a cautionary warning by Egyptian Judge, Justice El Araby, from the ICJ and who sat in judgement as part of the panel which heard the case from the United Nations General Assembly in 2003 on the legality of the security barrier erected by Israel. The Honorable Justice El Araby warned the UNGA and others that filing further challenges of the legal claims to these lands ran some risks, as he stated,

 

“The international legal status of the Palestinian Territory (paras. 70-71 of the Advisory Opinion), in my view, merits more comprehensive treatment. A historical survey is relevant to the question posed by the General Assembly, for it serves as the background to understanding the legal status of the Palestinian Territory on the one hand and underlines the special and continuing responsibility of the General Assembly on the other. This may appear as academic, without relevance to the present events. The present is however determined by the accumulation of past events and no reasonable and fair concern for the future can possibly disregard a firm grasp of past events. In particular, when on more than one occasion, the rule of law was consistently side-stepped. The point of departure, or one can say in legal jargon, the critical date, is the League of Nations Mandate which was entrusted to Great Britain.” 

 

The straight forward wording of the Honorable Justice El Araby is refreshing in that it plainly lays out as a warning that the Arab arguments against Israel do not have a leg to stand on and if brought before the world courts, Israel is going to win every time. As he so succinctly put it, no judgment for the future can be reached without coming from a solid legal background set by precedent and the stated applicable laws, which when it comes to the Israeli claim to the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, all the cards are held by Israel based on the League of Nations, the Mandate System and Article 80 of the United Nations Charter which all taken together give Israel claim to the lands in question. His advisory basically warned the Arabs not to come knocking on the court’s door expecting to waltz in and leave with being granted whatever they present as their demands, but those do not carry any legal weight. His warnings are specific and make a demonstrative statement and warning against any future of such actions.

 

The insistence by the world in adopting the Arabist terminology that there exists “Occupied Palestinian Territories” only serves to muddy the waters of the debate and do so in a misleading and erroneous manner. The truth of the situation would be more accurately conveyed by terms along the line that these are “Territories Occupied by the Palestinians” of legally Israeli lands. But then, the world has currently adopted almost every Arabist position in their discussions of virtually every subject where the Arab World conflicts with the remainder of the world. Another example of this misuse and twisting of realities is found in claims that Islamophobia is a greater problem than anti-Semitism. This can be proven very easily simply by researching the actual reported cases of these two forms of hatred. The table below shows the actual hate crimes statistics between anti-Semitism and Islamophobic rates over a five-year period from 2012 through 2016 clearly showing that anti-Semitic hate crimes outnumber Islamophobic hate crimes by a factor anywhere from two-to-one to as high as over five-to-one. By repeating the false data as if it were gospel does not serve either population but simply further feeds the mischaracterizing of the Muslims being targeted with greater frequency than Jews are targeted. But apparently the Arabs have adopted the methodology of Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, who postulated, “the principle and which is quite true in itself and that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily,” often misquoted or paraphrased as: “The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed.” But there are other claims made which also fit this paradigm.

 

 

Next, we would like to draw attention to the next misstatement. This is the claim that Israel is threatening to take over the Arab World. That is what they claim, that little old Israel is threatening the entirety of the Arab World. The complete insanity of this claim is immediately and easily recognized by simply looking at a map of the Arab World and Israel. In that map below, Israel is the tiny little red strip of land along the eastern edge of the Mediterranean. The reason why this fabrication is believed by so many is due to ignorance and an inflated view of the size of Israel. Many people believe that Israel is a fairly good-sized nation. When people are told that Israel is approximately the size of New Jersey, the usual and often immediate reply is something along the lines of, “No way.” Such disbelief comes from their view of Israel as one of the world’s great powers and as such it must be large. Well, some good things actually do come in small packages. People read about the inventions coming from Israel, the applications for their phones and computers coming from Israel, agricultural developments coming from Israel, medical advancements coming from Israel and the latest being Beresheet, the little spacecraft which made it all the way to the Moon only to suffer the catastrophic failure to fire its main thruster and slow its decent resulting in it striking the Moon far harder than she was designed to absorb. Still Israel became the seventh nations to orbit the Moon and the forth to actually hit the Moon. Then there is the fact that Israel is often the first nation to set up a field hospital anywhere in the world when there is any large disaster be it a storm, hurricane, earthquake or manmade disaster. These are all things one expects from the United States and thus, as Israel appears to be a match for the mighty America, people mistake Israel for being far larger than she is. There is one advantage to Israel’s diminutive size, one can reach anywhere in Israel from any other point in Israel in under one day driving.

 

Israel and the Arab World

 

The readiness with which the Western World has taken to adopting the Arabist and Islamic references and points of view only serves to assist advancing their narrative giving it preference over all traditional Western beliefs. The willingness, eagerness would possibly be a more accurate term, with which the Western World has come to throw out all of the Judeo-Christian ethos upon which much of the basis for the superiority attained by the Western World has been nothing short of appalling. Despite reluctance shown at times by the Church, the Judeo-Christian ethic is still the basis of common law, the basis for the English and American legal systems, the Enlightenment, the Renaissance and virtually all the advances made by the Western World over the past millennium. One of the reasons given by the progressives for the abandonment of the root of their culture is because of the dogmatic views of sexuality, marriage and numerous other items which largely fall under the classification of morality. Their decision to instead adopt the Islamic agenda is two-fold, first Islam allies with them in their attempts to rid the culture of all things Judeo-Christian and second they are accepting sight-unseen the Islamic Sharia taking the presentation they have been provided by the advance guard of an Islamic infiltration which will eventually become an invasion, just ask Belgium.

 

What will happen when Islamic forces, allied by the far left and other progressives, takes a strong enough foothold that the honest presentation will be made of exactly how Islamic jurisprudence treats such things as homosexuality, marriage, religious freedom and so many other items. When that day arrives, the sad and sorry state that their discarded Judeo-Christian basis for the society with a far more accepting and universal structure cannot be retrieved as once Sharia has been implemented, any attempt at restoring what once was the basis for Western society will now carry a death sentence as once one adopts Islam, there can be no leaving Islam. Anyone leaving Islam after once accepting Islam into their lives becomes an apostate, possibly the only thing more detestable by Islam than being a Jew. There are a number of other minor infractions which carry a death sentence of a variety under Islam. Homosexuals are treated by either being thrown from a tall building, having a wall brought down upon them or hanging, all of which are designed to end with the accused person’s death. Adultery also is punishable by death. The easiest way of putting this is that Islam is not the warm and fuzzy lovable faith which is accepting of all kinds of behavior and aligning perfectly with the leftist progressive agenda, it is as close as in total and complete opposition with the leftist and progressive principles. While we understand that the same can be stated about Judeo-Christianity, at least with Judeo-Christianity we are not being ruled by the Church. When Islam takes hold, there will be only Islam in its most rigid and strict form one can imagine. Everything you may have come to believe about Islam will come crashing down with a finality which will become the most frightening action the Western World will have ever experienced.

 

Take anywhere from two to four hours or so, depending on your reading speed, and read a copy of the Quran. Try and find one which lists the Hadiths in chronological order. To make life easier, we have an introductory piece on the Quran and in the comments are numerous links including some to such copies of the Quran. There is a rule of thumb when it comes to the Quran as some of the verses contradict or even state the opposite of other verses. The later verses supersede the earlier verses which usually means the verses written in Medina supersede the verse written in Mecca where Muhammad originally began his journey. The reasoning for this is called abrogation. Just for your information, the idea of abrogation came after the death of Muhammad, well after his passing, and was in response to a crisis in Islam and is the Islamic version of their reformation. Islam had suffered setbacks and defeats and sought out where they had gone wrong. This was at the end of the “Golden Age of Islam” when the West began to assert themselves. They went back and studied the life of Muhammad and realized that he was rejected and scorned in Mecca but flourished once established in Medina. This mean that the Quranic verse from Medina were superior to the weakness shown in Mecca. The Meccan verses still have their place, they are utilized whenever the Muslims are in the minority as they are currently throughout the West, though this is changing. The calming and acceptance oriented verses of the Mecca Quran are used to quiet any reluctance or pushback against Islam in the early stages of their conquest when they are not powerful enough to force their Sharia upon an unsuspecting public. There is an actual series of steps which the Islamic forces utilize in their takeover of any new lands. We have it in diagram form below. Currently the United States is largely in the first opening stage while European nations span anywhere from the first to as far as the third with some teetering on the forth stage. Once any society reaches the forth stage, their chances at regaining their society and the best hope is to flee or convert now.

 

Five Stages of Islamic Conquest

 

There are some leftist progressives who are familiar with Sharia and the entire methodology of Islam. But they have a plan of their own, and it actually includes utilizing Islam for their own ends. Their belief is that once they have rid themselves and the Western World of what they consider a disease, Judeo-Christianity, then they will simply redefine Islam to match their secular-humanist and eco-friendly leftist progressive politics. They will supplant the Quran with the Democrat Party platform, or at least the one Bernie will be running on as well as many of their other Presidential hopefuls. This is the level of their contempt for even Islam that they believe they can simply alter the precepts of Islam replacing Quranic verses with leftist-progressive polity. This is how much they have disdain for Islam and are simply planning on using Islam and then discarding it once they have their desired death of Judeo-Christianity. There is only one small problem with their plans, Islam is not that easily overthrown. Once Islam reaches the point where they are ready to challenge everything the people thought was the basis for their society, there will be no alterations made to the Quran as the Islamic plan brings in Imams who will decide what Islam means and what good Muslims are called upon to perform. Just for your information, the top of the list is to perform Jihad followed by assisting those who are Jihadists and next are those who finance the Jihadists and on down the line to the lower ranks such as providing shelter for the Jihadists both before and after their attacks have been executed. There is no room in Islam for a competing set of principles and those attempting such an alteration to Islam would be accused of heresy and potentially be considered to be apostates, neither is a desirable end. But the West in now too comfortable in their belief of their superiority, especially the progressives as was proven by their continued disbelief that Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump. Imagine their absolute unraveling should President Trump be reelected beating, choose your favorite Democrat here. But not to fret, President Trump cannot remain in the White House beyond either two or six years depending on the 2020 elections. Eventually the leftist Progressive wing of the Democrat Party will win the White House and very possibly both houses of Congress along with it. Then the real leftist-progressive policies will get their chance to prove that the Democrats really are the people who know how to implement socialism and make it work. If they are able to do so, they will be the first and we do not hold out high hopes that they will succeed. Do not get us wrong, they will attempt to implement socialism and may even go the full route and decide that their superior knowledge and political beliefs are reason enough for them remaining in power until they get that socialist thing perfected. That is providing that Islam has not taken control of the United States, as they will also bring on a socialist form of governance. Their form of socialism is that the elite get everything and the rest get next to nothing, picture Gaza or Iran, Syria, Libya, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and all of the Islamic run nations which have little if any oil wealth. Under Islam it is difficult to tell if it is Islam or socialism which drives their levels of poverty and the great disparity in wealth between those connected to the power and everyone else. We can imagine a day when Americans remember fondly the days when President Trump sat in the White House, but this claim will raise the ire of most leftists who strayed in their journey and landed here. Perhaps this might serve as a warning for them, though we highly doubt such would be the case. But be warned, as forewarned is forearmed.

Meanwhile on the Gaza Border

 

Yes, that’s right. The Holiest Day in the year for Jews while everyone including as many IDF soldiers as can possibly be spared, and we mean as many, are on leave to attend services with their families, Hamas had their youth warriors out on the border with firebombs which included one made of a gas petrol tank, grenades, some explosive devices and their favorite low budget weapon, rocks. Numerous Gazans breached the border and actually did something almost normal for teens, they spray-painted parts of an IDF position which we assume was not in use at the time. Most of the assaults were repulsed using crowd control such as teargas which will be reported by stringers within Gaza as the IDF using chemical weapons. There were a few reported uses of live fire to repel the most violent and sizable incursions over the border. Where one any day this would not even be a story, the fact it was timed with Yom Kippur makes it different.

 

Why would that be such a difference? Well, one has to understand the Middle East, something many in Western countries are going to soon be far more familiar with than they desire. During the month of Ramadan, the Muslims demand that people respect their daylight fast and try not to be out on the street eating where it might tempt a Muslim to break their daylight fast. When in a Muslim area, anyone caught eating in public could face being attacked and beaten. Well, rules are rules, right? This insistence is because religion is so important to Islam and if we desire our religion to be respected, then we must do so for theirs. Now we understand that there is a difference between the Muslims in Israel and the ones in Gaza. Imagine the screaming to the media and anyone of authority who would listen, such as the United Nations and agencies or the European Union and friends if Israel were to implement a raid against Gaza to remove a dangerous rocket position during Ramadan. It would be depicted as the most grievous display of discourtesy and insult imaginable. This ‘day of rage,’ which basically is what this was, which instituted attacks on the holiest day in the Jewish religion, Yom Kippur, would be recounted as common sense, you attack when your opponent is most vulnerable. It is simply another instance of the Muslims demanding ‘respect for me but not for thee.’

 

For those who might think this could be simply a one time event, allow us to remind them of the Yom Kippur War when Egypt and Syria attacked Israel on Yom Kippur and almost wiped Israel out. Fortunately, Israel still held the Golan Heights and Sinai Peninsula which provided the extra precious few hours for the IDF to recover her soldiers and mount a counter which resulted in no change to the borders. As this event was in October of 1973, a very primitive era as there were no cell phones or beepers, the IDF sent jeeps out through the streets going past every Synagogue with loud speakers announcing a complete call up of all reserves and off duty personnel giving them their rendezvous points. Units were patched together initially from combining units with similar duties. By the time this war was coming to an end, Israel was within sight of Damascus and closing on Cairo and Alexandria when the State Department in the form of Secretary of State Kissinger demanded Israel cease all attacks and return to the final lines from the Six Day War. This was also the conflict where Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, a nice Jewish boy, advised President Nixon to refuse to resupply the IDF as urgently requested by Israel until Israel agreed to a general peace settlement giving all lands back to Syria and Egypt and forming a Palestinian State along the pre-Six Day War 1949 Armistice Lines. Fortunately, President Nixon was a man who could think for himself, and he called the Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird and ordered him to get everything the IDF requested or might require and put it in the air immediately and get it to the Israelis as fast as possible.

 

Actually, this is where the story gets interesting and weird all at the same time. When the European world heard of the United States about to resupply the Israelis, they were quite put out, after all, this appeared to be that golden chance to have the Arabs erase Israel from the map. Every European country refused to grant any resupply aircraft flyover rights or refueling rights. They were even denying the United States the use of her own airfields within their borders and probably threatened to shoot them out of the sky, though that probably would have been one threat too many. Initially, President Nixon desired to avoid direct American involvement so El Al was used to try and resupply the IDF. El Al is a passenger airline making it kind of impossible for them to transport vehicles such as tanks and APC’s. Realizing that this was inadequate, on October 12, 1973, President Nixon decided that no more delays could be allowed, and ordered the United States Air Force to “send everything that can fly.” Within nine hours, C-141s and C-5s were en route to Israel. But how were any of these aircraft to make such a trip with no refueling point en route? Well, after some arm-twisting and the granting of some inducements, Portugal provided their Lajes Field in the Azores Islands as a refueling base and saved the day as well. This did provide evidence to the United States that they had a deficiency in their ability to provide necessary emergency aid even to their own forces across the globe which led to their vastly increasing their refueling capabilities, especially in the area of air-to-air refueling. President Nixon also took one additional step and placed an emergency resupply depot secured somewhere hidden under the barren Negev Dessert which would serve to resupply either Israel or United States troops in the region in case of emergency. This depot was quite a bit more important than many might think as the Iraq war progressed.

This was supposed to just show that attacking Israel on the Jewish religion’s holiest day is a recurring theme and has led to fewer soldiers from the IDF getting to services with their families and instead having to attend them in the field. This is not exactly an ideal way to observe Yom Kippur or Rosh Hashanah or any of the other Jewish holidays but has become a necessity as apparently Jewish holidays are not to be respected, only Islamic holidays are worthy of such. Oh, and if one were to be versed in the Quran, something we actually do not claim, we are only somewhat familiar with much of the Quran, they could quote you the verses which claim that only Islamic holy days are actual holy days and those of other religions matter not because no religion other than Islam is recognized as a religion. Yes, there are verses from the Meccan Quran which claim that Christians and Jews, as religions of the Book, receive special respect and their observant members will be treated as respected and kept people known as Dhimmis. Dhimmis can be taxed a special tax called the Jiyza and can be demanded to convert to Islam or die at any time, so special, don’t do me so many favors. The Jiyza is usually high enough to run the government and pauperize the Jews and Christians which makes them useless so when they run out of money and other means of paying the Jiyza, then comes the convert or die phase. Meanwhile, in the Medina Quran Christians get a promotion to idolaters which allows for them to be killed on sight. The Jews get a promotion too, we become the worst kind of scoundrel the world has ever laid eyes upon and must be eradicated so that the Islamic judgement day and completing their conquest of the world can become completed. Through abrogation, the replacing of the older verses of Mecca by their more violent and supercessional verses of Medina replace those from the earlier Meccan Quran as explained here. The end of this story is that under Islam, there is but one recognized religion, Islam. Thus, according to Islam, attacking Jews on Yom Kippur is simply good tactics as they do not have an actual religion, thus they have nothing which could be called a holy day.

 

That was then and this is now and apparently nothing has or ever will change until Islam is forced to take a hard look inwards. Currently, that does not appear to be on the horizon any time in the near future. We have often asked each other here at BTC is what it might take for a second reformation of Islam to take place. For those who missed the first reformation, that came back when abrogation was initiated ensuring that their only solution to any situation was to wage some form of war against their perceived adversaries while insisting that there was no state of belligerence and demanding that their perceived adversary’s military stand down. This reformation was one of many. There was the splintering of Islam into Sunni and Shiite branches and later the Wahhabi break in Saudi Arabia, the Ottoman Turks takeover of Islam and their fall and the latest has been a reaction to Islam’s apparent fall from being the preeminent force in the world as the Western World appears to be militarily superior. This latest reformation decided to adopt the concepts from the first great spread of Islam and have simply screamed ‘JIHAD’ and started to conquer Europe and the United States by means other than direct conflict but by conflicts within. Their hope is to infiltrate men of fighting age and become sufficient in numbers in pivotal cities such that they can paralyze the city with violence leading to their reaching an agreement where they rule a large section of the city completely. From that base, more Muslims will arrive and weapons will be stored and at some point, when sufficient numbers of these bases exist, then they will pour out armed and take control of the major cities of Europe. So you think that all of this is mere conjecture? Perhaps, or maybe this is simply another time that BTC is giving warning, a warning which has been sounded by Giulio Meotti. Is this really in the cards? That is for you and your leaders to decide. What can be done? Well, the first step is stop trying to eradicate Israel and take heed of how she approaches these problems. The Israeli approach will become even more efficient and laudable once the world finally decides that everything depends upon what Israelis had for breakfast and what their daily plans were, or more easily put, the world moves along and worries about their own problems and stops making Israel the cause of every ill.

Middle East Reality Strikes President Trump

 

President Trump has yet to figure out the single most important truth about the Middle East. If you are unsure what this truth is, do not feel bad as none of the Presidents since President Truman have figured it out either and even President Truman and those before him back to President Jefferson did not figure it out either. Truth be told, President Jefferson was the sole President to figure out the Middle East equation, an equation which has not altered a single iota since then. The other problem is most people in this era have little memory or ever had knowledge of history, even the history of their own nation. This is true of Americans and apparently all too true of far too many modern Jews despite the center of our faith being remembering our past and celebrating that past where such is called for and mourn those happenings which can only be commemorated while not appropriate for celebration. The claim that Jews spend an inordinate amount of time and energy commemorating the past is true and will continue to be true as it is our past, which sets us apart and our very beginnings, which define our faith and our existence today. That is a truth about Judaism and why Israel, this little slice of land which is less than one-fourth of one percent of the lands in the Muslim world usually defined as the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), is of such paramount importance to the Jewish People even in this modern era. But this is about President Trump and the problem his “Deal of the Century” faces as it has just run headfirst into the difficulty of the Middle East.

 

Presidents Jefferson, Truman and Trump

 

President Trump has based his “Deal of the Century” on replacing the implacable PLO or Palestinian Authority with Jordan, Egypt or possibly even Saudi Arabia. The easiest one of these nations to rule out is Saudi Arabia. President Bush who was a great friend of the Saudi Royal Family approached them for assistance in finding a solution during his administration. Instead of coming rushing to his aid, they simply took some time and met with other leaders of the Arab League and other Arab nations and eventually produced the Saudi Plan. The plan is also called the Arab Plan and is not very much different from the previous demands. Like every other proposed plan, this one also demands the pre-June 1967 lines, also known as the Green Line, completely erasing the losses from the Six Day War and resetting the area back to the borders which the Arab world found so inviting for destroying Israel that they simply had to attack. This is the initial demand, basically demanding a do-over for the Six Day War. Then it demands that there be a satisfactory solution be found for the Palestinian refugee problem. This is another standard where it is demanded that Israel accept anywhere from five to eight million Arab refugees and grant them their rightful citizenship in Israel transforming Israel into another Muslim majority nation which after the next election will soon star to destroy the Jewish population if any Jews wait that long before fleeing for their lives. Their claim is that since Israel is a democratic nation which provides for religious freedom, what complaint can the Israelis have in accepting these refugees? The problem is we have seen what happens to a nation once the Muslims become the majority by looking north to what had been predominantly Christian Lebanon which is now ruled by Hezballah which is armed and threatening to destroy Israel. The promise to Israel was should they accept this deal the Muslim Arab nations would consider recognizing and normalizing relations with Israel. Many people love to claim they promised to accept and have normal relations with Israel which is untrue, they only promised to think about doing such. Our bet is they would wait until Israel became yet another Arab Muslim nation before changing anything. The entirety of the Saudi Plan would be unacceptable but oddly enough, it was rejected by Yasser Arafat before it was presented as a plan to Israel.

 

That was the grand deal from Saudi Arabia and we are willing to bet that even the new leader, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, would not bring that big of a change, especially this early in his rule. His immediate plans are apparently domestic though he is not about to completely ignore the outside world. Prince Mohammed bin Salman will definitely watch the Saudi Arabian nemesis, Iran, and watch them closely. Israel is a problem which he does not require and as much as he probably would love to befriend President Trump, there are some requests which would be one too far. Prince Mohammed bin Salman might be willing to place the agreement of Saudi Arabia to any plan which proves acceptable to the Arab League and the rest of the Arab World as well as the Palestinian Arab leadership. That is where the knot of the problem sits.

 

Looking to Egypt and a year ago, that might have been a possibility but President Sisi is not sitting in as strong a position and much of his efforts will be to assure that he remains President of Egypt even if elections have to be massaged. His is an easy problem to define, and it is defined Muslim Brotherhood. Yes, he outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood, but being outlawed and being expunged from the Egyptian population are two very different things. Much of the rural and poor population in Egypt receives assistance from Muslim Brotherhood Imams and officials and with the food, you win their support. It is a political equation as old as politics and probably older. President Sisi has also been in a running struggle with the Imams at Al-Azhar University in his effort to modernize Islam and turn them from their absolutist beliefs and bring Islam back from the precipice which abrogation placed them. President Sisi is attempting to end the insistence of domination over all other religions and the inevitability for conquest of the world bringing all to worship only Allah and allow for Islam to become a modernist religion where it will find a path for accommodating a plurality of religion and for the existence of lands which are not ruled by Muslims. Sisi is fighting fourteen-hundred years of history coming from the initial Caliphate and continuing through the Ottoman Empire. Should he fail, then Islam will continue on its path of confrontation and attempts at conquest continuing from time to time until they finally either conquer the world and bring all to Islam or are eradicated by a world no longer willing to accept their consistent resorting to confrontations. So, Egypt is out.

 

This leaves Jordan. President Trump has first placed his hopes with Jordan. Just this past week Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu visited King Abdullah in Amman, Jordan. Probably the easiest and most informative means of taking measure of their meeting would be to quote their statements which they released after their talks. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s response was given in an official Press Release stating, “Prime Minister Netanyahu and King Abdullah of Jordan met today in Amman. The King and the Prime Minister discussed regional developments, advancing the peace process and bilateral relations. Prime Minister Netanyahu reiterated Israel’s commitment to maintaining the status quo at the holy sites in Jerusalem.” You have to love the conciseness of his emotionless, flat statement completely devoid of emotion.

 

King Abdullah was far more expressive in his communique. His statement came as follows (We initially tried to go to the link but found it nonfunctional. The article we relied upon for the King’s response can be read here),

 

“His Majesty King Abdullah, at a meeting on Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who departed Jordan after a short visit, stressed the need to make progress in efforts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state solution and in accordance with international law, relevant UN resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative.
“King Abdullah reaffirmed that the only way to achieve peace and stability in the region is by reaching a two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 4 June 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital, living side by side with Israel in peace and security.”
“The King affirmed that Jordan will continue upholding its historical role in safeguarding Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, in accordance with the Hashemite Custodianship.”

 

There are two items worth note, the first being the inclusion of safeguarding Christian holy sites with no reference to Jewish sites. The inclusion of Christian is taking additional right to having the right for control beyond the original agreed upon Islamic sites thus insisting on Jordan now having responsibility for all of the Temple Mount according to the King and further claiming that there is no holiness to Jews of the Temple Mount. This is a step towards preventing Jews from having access to the Temple Mount and a step backwards from recent events. The problem of the Temple Mount will likely now only start to escalate if Jordan decides to press the exclusion of Jews from the Temple Mount and, if the King follows the extremist views of the Palestinian Authority, denial of use of the plaza before the Western Wall, which Abbas has claimed is holy only to Islam. This path would lead to a direct confrontation testing relations between Israel and Jordan, a relationship which has grown colder on recent times.

 

The second issue is King Abdullah was simply restating the unresponsive position which Mahmoud Abbas and also Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Arab position since 1917 when the British declared their intent for a Jewish State with the Balfour Declaration and again throughout the following San Remo Conference, Treaty of Serves, the Mandate System, United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 and finally the Declaration of the independence of the State of Israel in May of 1948. What he stated was that Jordan would demand that there be a Palestinian Arab state formed along the pre-Six Day War Green Line including eastern Jerusalem and the provisions of the Arab Initiative as described above includes the imposing of five to eight million Arab refugees into Israel making it another Arab Muslim nation as soon as elections would be held.

 

So, what is it that President Trump has run into? He has struck what we would refer to as the Islamic Brick Wall. President Jefferson figured it out as the Barbary Pirates demanded more and more protection payments and whenever the United States resisted returned to taking sailors from American ships until the payments were made. He also had heard it from the Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman in London representing the Dey of Algiers who controlled the Barbary Pirates. Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja had answered that Islam, “It was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

 

Islam is a religion of conquest founded on beliefs which coalesced in the first hundred and fifty to two hundred years where abrogation placed the parts of the Quran written in Medina which contradicted the Mecca verses as abrogating the earlier verses. Egypt President Sisi is one of the most public persons who have called for abrogation to be reversed and the Mecca Quran, the original writings of Muhammad, as having primacy. Until Islam, if ever they should, follows the desires of President Sisi and his fellow patrons for amending the precedence of the later verses allowing the multicultural and more open Mecca verses guide modern Islam, there cannot be surrender of any lands by Islamic nations. This means that Israel, as well as Spain (Andalusia), must be erased and the lands returned to Islamic rule. Further, Muslims are to be pledged to forging a world where only Allah is worshiped and Islam is the sole religion. This is why Islamic nations strive to eradicate all other religions within their borders. This is also why Israel is the only nation in the Middle East where the Christian population is increasing. Saudi Arabia has places where no non-Muslim is permitted to tread, and by places, we mean entire cities such as both Mecca and Medina. Further, it is illegal and punishable by death to be a follower of Judaism, Christianity or religion other than Islam in Saudi Arabia. The supremacy of Islam is so defined that it even reaches to the point that one must practice the correct form of Islam thus the enmity between the Sunni and Shiite Muslims and Saudi Arabia and Iran, each the preeminent nation of each form of Islam. Iran has already made it clear that their intent is world conquest starting with Saudi Arabia and then on to Israel and the United States. The Saudi Arabians are more passive as Sunni Islam includes at least 85% of all Muslims with almost the entirety of the rest being Shiites. Either way, Islam, both Sunni and Shiite with Shiite being the more active currently, live by the concept of the sword, thus it matters little to the world which one is dominant, they will both eventually attempt to dominate. What is possibly a saving grace is that many in Islam pledge to make their founding school of Islam the dominant form which is part of why there are as many Islam-Islam wars. Below is a map of the numerous separate founders of the various forms of Islam. One can notice that Iran, Iraq, Qatar and Bahrain are the most populated Shiite Islamic centers while most of the rest of Islam belongs to some form of Sunni Islam.

Both forms of Islam hold Mecca and Medina as their most holy cities and none outside those speaking about Israel believe, and not even those speaking of Israel, that Jerusalem is the third most holy city in Islam. In Shiite Islam after Mecca and Medina they are Najaf, Karbala, Kathemiya, Samara, Mash’had and Qom are the next most holy cities. In Sunni Islam Mecca and Medina, they are Istanbul, Cairo, Kufa and Karbala. Oddly enough, Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Quran as Muhammad removed any reference to Jerusalem after the Jews refused him as their prophet. This happened even before he presented the Quran to be written down by a scribe, as Muhammad did not read or write. The reason that Jerusalem is noted today as the third most holy city is because it is the city which Islam desires to conquer, or reconqer, next. The honor of being the third most holy city has also been shared by Damascus, Constantinople, Rome, Paris, London and New York amongst others. It is all part of the promise from Allah that in the Quran states that Islam will rule the world and all will bend to Allah and his people.
