Gazans and Iranians, Two Entirely Different Reasons

If even reported on, the mainstream media will do what they are able to cast the Iranian protester as a small and radical fragment of the society attempting to destroy the natural order while on the same page casting the Hamas rioters will be shown as peaceful human rights demonstrators just attempting to rectify wrongs. One can only wonder how the media can expect anybody to believe a word they say when they are so consistently on the wrong side of every issue. We have spoken about the Gazan situation lately and these articles can be found on our main page and going back over the past six weeks, so we will simply update a few aspects of what has happened over the last week and then talk more in depth on the Iranian situation.

The rioters in Gaza along the border, acting on the promptings from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, have been making a decent living earning from three hundred to five hundred dollars a day for launching incendiary kites and balloons into Israel burning forests, croplands and wilderness preserves which formerly were safe spaces for some endangered species. Reports tell us that three of the fires were in the Beeri forest, while the two others were in the Kissufim forest. Extensive damage was reportedly caused to the forest regions. On Sunday, an incendiary balloon was found in a populated area of the city of Sderot where Police bomb disposal experts neutralize the threat. Firefighters have been working non-stop in shifts over the past five weeks just to try and contain these fires, some of which have taken on firestorm proportions (see image below). The damages to crops alone has breached ten to twenty million dollars and the forests may take twenty years or far longer in some of the regions to recover and the wildlife has been permanently harmed.

In the more recent days Hamas and Islamic Jihad have resumed their rocket launching firing at least nine rockets towards the regional councils Hof Ashkelon, Sha’ar Hanegev and Eshkol in southern Israel. Fortunately, the Iron Dome systems intercepted one of the rockets headed for a populated area. Where there were no injuries and damage from the rockets was minimal, there are still costs both human and financial to these attacks. The obvious cost is that each Iron Dome interceptor costs over fifty-thousand dollars while the rockets they intercept cost a maximum of possibly twenty dollars. This is the difference between the two societies, one places the cost of destroying life at twenty dollars a shot with no guarantees while the other protects lives at whatever cost it takes. The further costs are the peoples’ lives which are interrupted by the alert sirens where they then hurry to find appropriate shelter either in a bomb room or in an underground shelter. Hamas and Islamic Jihad are willing to destroy the land if it will kill the Jews. They do not want Israel for their gain and to live as a productive society, and they are determined to make Israel unproductive for the society who is attempting to make these deserts bloom. This is a basic difference between the Middle Eastern tribal mentality and the mentality of the Western World.

Where in the Western World all emphasis is on productive ventures and taking care of those closest to you and attempting not to harm those around you, in the Middle East you do everything in your power to destroy the livelihoods and lands of those who are different from you. This is evident in Syria where there are three or more groups fighting against Bashir al-Assad while they also fight against one another. Libya is a similar example where the twelve or twenty or however many tribes spend most of their efforts on destroying everything the next tribe owns and not on forming a cohesive society with single national governance and where everyone works for mutual betterment. There is the Shia-Sunni-Kurd wars in Iraq where the government has destroyed most of the lands of the Sunni and are now doing similarly to the Kurds. In Syria troops from Turkey are sweeping across the north killing Kurds because they are not Turks. In Yemen there is violence with the Houthis attempting to cleanse the nation of every other tribe. This is also what Iran is supporting across the Middle East assisting every Shia tribe in cleansing the lands of those who are not Shia or are not Arab or Iranian. The one exception is Hamas who Iran supports simply because they hate the Jews more than they hate the Sunni terrorists of Hamas. Should Israel pick up tomorrow and go settle in space, then Iran would turn on Hamas and assist Islamic Jihad (Shia) destroy Hamas (Sunni). There you have the entire Middle East in a simple package, destroy everything which is not of your branch of Islam, tribe, family until there can be only one.

In Iran, the people have poured into the streets with a simple, almost Western, demand for the government to leave Syria, Yemen and elsewhere alone and start to pay attention to them. They have suffered spiraling inflation and youth unemployment in double digits with no relief in sight. These protests closed down two of the main markets within the capital of Tehran (see video below). This round of protests has thus far been nonviolent and the government has yet to make any moves to restrict or end these demonstrations. These are peaceful protests even if somewhat disorganized and boisterous and rambunctious with chants catching on getting rousing responses. Their anger is palpable and these are not just youth from the colleges but also taxi drivers, merchants, shop owners, teachers and people from almost all walks of life in Iran. These have been reported as some of the most serious protests in Iran since the 2009 crackdown where the government, in an attempt to decapitate their resistance as they saw it, arrested, tried and executed thousands of the protesters. Despite that the people are rising and demanding that their needs be addressed first and foremost by their government while others included in the protests, some reports claim this view is a majority view, want the government to step down and a true democratic government to replace the Mullahs.

Where will these protest lead is the big question. Will the people have sufficient power to bring down the Mullocracy and their tyrannical theocratic and oppressive regime? This will not come to fruition through peaceful protests as was proven in 2009 when the government simply broke up the protests by using teargas, water cannons and eventually live bullets killing people wantonly and randomly. If you were in the front approaching the troops, you were a target. What was worse was the unleashing of the Basij Militias onto the university campuses where they sought out people from the protest movement and beat them sometimes to death using bats, iron rods and other usually blunt weapons though at times they came wielding swords. These current protests, from what we have viewed, have a wide assortment of people out marching in the streets from the always-present youth to men and women in dress clothes such as button down shirts and other clothing which would be worn by white collar workers. When the working classes representing different stratum of employment are out and the shops along the protest routs are closed in support plus additionally the protests are not restricted to a single area but are filling the smaller streets of the bazaars and even inside a shopping mall shows that these protests are wide ranging. This can be found in the extended video below. We wish that the protests alone are capable of bringing change though we seriously doubt the reigning theocrats will budge or give up their control and comfortable, if not lavish, lifestyles. For some reason we do not buy their pious we live a Spartan existence completely lacking in overtly great comfort and we eat as the little people eat, you know, pheasant under glass, caviar, roasted lamb with mint jelly and other simply meals.

Unfortunately, dictatorial governance does not topple easily. The Mullahs are little different than the man they back in Syria, Bashir al-Assad, and in being his ilk, the Mullahs will not step aside even if they have to line the streets with corpses. They have their Basij Militias, their Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who are sworn to perform the bidding of the Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei. When the decision is reached that the people have had their say, they have expressed their protests, and now it is time to restore the rightful order of things, these forces will confront the protesters and demand that they cease and desist immediately. This will last at the most three or four days before they start to break up the protests. About a week of teargas, water cannons, rubber bullets and nightsticks will force many of the protesters to give it up and return to their normal activities. This is also how the Mullahs’ government weeds out regular people such that they can explain to themselves that the remaining protesters are radicals attempting to overthrow the government and thus traitors. This is when they take off the silk gloves and replace it with their iron fist. Now they can perform mass arrests and soon simply start shooting the protester in the streets. The reason for the mass arrests is so they can take down the confessions of how these protesters were paid for by President Trump and by Israel or Saudi Arabia. They tape these confessions, after cleaning up the traitor such that they appear to not have been tortured, and play these confessions on Iranian State run television as proof of foreign provocateurs and agents being behind the protests using these as a warning to the people. This is the result in nations where the ruling elite have all the firearms and the people have next to nothing with which to fight back.

Is it possible that this will be the eventuality where the people find the will to storm the ramparts and bring everything down. That will actually depend on how the Mullahs decide to treat these protests. If their actions to shut everything down come before the majority of the protesting people who are less engaged in regime change have spent their energy and have begun to believe that perhaps this is not the time, then they could enrage the public. This might be the time where any overtly violent attempts to shut down the protests will rile the people into an actual revolt. Even troops armed with full automatic submachine guns and steeled determination backed by a high discipline and full belief they are doing the right thing can be rushed by a crowd of a few thousand, and these protests appear to have the thousands and a few spare thousands, such a cadre of enforcers would be overrun and probably before they used up all their ammunition. Now those who overran the enforcers have weapons and ammunition and the revolution is on. The story of the Jews revolt in the Warsaw Ghetto shows how you start with a single, old, barely functional revolver and hold off an entire Panzer division for almost six weeks and can be an instruction manual for how to start a revolution. The Iranian people have a proud heritage as Persians and many feel that Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei is a usurper and is not a fellow Persian. They also resent the Mullahs thinking similarly that they too are not truly Persian. This could add to their frustration the feeling that these outsiders are using their nation for their designs which do not serve their Persian ancestry and are destroying their Persia. The one item we can guarantee is that the current governance of Iran is playing with a potentially explosive situation and even if it does not explode this time, there will come that point in time when the protests grow beyond anybody’s control and the theocratic governance will be overthrown and the replacement will very likely be some form of representative governance which will resemble a republic, parliamentary democracy or something closely resembling a Western nation. The Iran that emerges will be closer to a Western governance than a Middle East governance and this will bring great wealth to the Iranian people and perhaps they will set an example for an Islamic governance which values similar principles as the developed Western World. Hope springs eternal.

Was Iran the Threat Trump Claims?

United States President Trump pulled the Americans out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) while offering the Iranians to sit down and work out a more restrictive treaty (see video below), which President Trump assured them would benefit the world. The reality is that should a better treaty be hammered out which truly would prevent Iran from ever attaining nuclear weapons capability with an inspection regime, which assured their compliance, then this would make the world a far better place. The reality is that Iran will simply continue as they have been by doubling down on ignoring their agreements of the deal, refusing the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) permission to inspect their military sites other than Fordow. That was simply the most glaring refusal of the Iranian regime.

When one adds the revelations made by Israel last week about the Iranian nuclear activities, divulging the treasure trove of records absconded with by Israeli intelligence agents (Mossad) over the period of a single night, President Trump had all the information he required to justify pulling out from the JCPOA. Still, we are amazed they could even move that many records within such a brief period of time without being challenged. The speech made by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu revealing the information (see video below) was interesting in that he was not addressing the Israeli people, for that he speaks Hebrew, and was not, as many declared, speaking to President Trump; he was speaking for the benefit of the American public. President Trump, his Cabinet Members who were interested and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had already been granted full access to the information for reason of verification that they were indeed exactly as claimed and for their being informed. Prime Minister Netanyahu was making the preparation for the action taken by President Trump by revealing the full extent of the Iranian breaching of the treaty including the initial requirements for validating the treaty, thus the treaty was in reality an empty shell from the beginning. With that established and made by a credible source, President Trump could make his announcement without facing rejections of his statements claiming that he did not have actual information on whether Iran was complying or ignoring their obligations. That simply caused those who claim that President Trump cannot walk without assistance, as he is that unstable, from claiming that he was bringing the world to the brink once again. That as it may, the die is cast and President Trump gave Iran the offer to make a new deal, which they will reject instead making much bluster while continuing with their nuclear research and weapons manufacture, and now it is just a matter of time until President Trump places a time limit on his patience over Iran requesting negotiations for a new treaty. This will be where things could become quite serious including the possibility of Iran testing an actual nuclear weapon and declaring themselves a nuclear-armed power.

As far as the threat level that Iran poses, President Trump underestimated their threat levels. Much of what the Iranians are threatening across the Middle East goes well beyond Hezballah, Hamas, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Israel and others within the MENA countries. Some of their threat stems from the Tri-Border Area (TBA) of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay (see image below), where criminal interests, terrorist training, and IRGC preparations for strikes within the Americas take place including the two attacks in Buenos Aires, the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina (AMIA; Argentine Israelite Mutual Association) bombing and the bombing of the Israeli Embassy. Iran has made threats to destroy Israel as well as the United States. There have also been rising levels of threat to Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf States as well as Jordan, Turkey, Egypt and beyond. These are the threats which President Trump referred.

Tri-Border Region of South America Terror training haven and Iranian proxy state in the Americas and Base of operations for the 17 March 1992 Israeli Embassy Bombing murdering 29 injuring 242 and the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina (AMIA) 18 July 1994bombing murdered 85 injured over 800 and now we must add the murdered Argentine Prosecutor Alberto Nisman to AMIA fatalities

These threats are actually minimal compared to the entirety of the designs of the Ayatollahs. Their dreams and designs are a compilation of the desires of the Persian Empire to rule the known world, which has grown since their time, and the Shiite Islamic desire to spread Shia Islam to every person on Earth. This put in the most simple terms states that the Iranian leaders believe it will be their triumph in the end taking over the entirety of the Earth and converting every remaining person to Shia Islam. Their intent is to give people the choice of convert or die by beheading. They are serious about this just as they have been at enforcing their nightmarish rule over the people of Iran operating a torture operation at Evin Prison where those who protest the regime face if arrested. Despite these chilling possibilities, there have been large demonstrations against the Mullahs in 2009, which were brutally put down with numerous of the leaders simply disappearing. These demonstrations have been building once again. President Trump gave those who wish to replace their governance with something more attuned to the needs of the people and not so intent on military building and nuclear weapons development at the expense of the people and the national economy. President Trump stated that the people should be the first concern of their governance, not just an annoyance to be disregarded. This was a message that Washington D.C. will back their demonstrations this time should they decide to challenge the rule of the Mullahs. Should the Iranian people rise up, we can only hope the President is ready and willing to stand behind his encouraging words and not simply blowing smoke in their direction.

Iran, as dangerous as they likely currently are, could become far more of a world threat should they ever compile a nuclear weapons cache of thermos-nuclear weapons which are miniaturized making them useable as missile warheads with greater yields per unit size mountable on intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) threatening the entirety of the globe from within hardened launch sites within Iran. Already it is suspected that Iranian ballistic missiles are capable of attaining four-thousand-kilometers with new plans reaching possibly over six-thousand-kilometers. Iran has also proven their ability at firing satellites into low-Earth orbit, which is the principle requirement for launching an EMP device that would be almost impossible to prevent should it reach deployment orbit and be set upon a reentry path. That aside, the weapon could be removed from orbit while it remains in its orbit by anti-satellite missiles which have been developed by Russia, China, Israel and the United States at a minimum. The Iranians went one-step further by placing a satellite in a trans-polar orbit where it crosses over the North Pole and South Pole. This also permits for an orbit which approaches the United States from a southerly direction over the Gulf of Mexico and through Texas to Louisiana passing over Kansas City and St Louis, the prime location for an EMP device to be deployed and approaching from the area where the anti-missile detection and interception capabilities are at their most limited. So, Iran is capable of orbiting satellites, firing continental ballistic missiles up to possibly five-thousand kilometers and is at the verge of producing solid fueled ICBMs and the thermonuclear warheads to place atop them, exactly how much more dangerous would make them an international concern? We would claim they already are an international concern of great weight.

Ranges of Iranian Missiles

Ranges of Iranian Missiles

The Iranians have been working on producing nuclear weapons since December 1984 when with the aid of China, Iran opened a nuclear research center in Isfahan. This was claimed to be for the peaceful use of nuclear power, a story we have heard before from every nation right before they test a nuclear device. The United States started from scratch with the Einstein letter in August of 1939 to plan for making a nuclear device and exploded a fully operational thermonuclear weapon at the start of November of 1952. That is from nothing to a thermonuclear device in less than fifteen years in complete secrecy. Iran was suspected of working towards nuclear weapons in late 1997 and this was stated with an earlier estimate in the 1990’s, probably in 1992. When one figures out that Iran had the advantage that in 1992 one could search the Internet for a design for a normal nuclear weapon giving them a head start towards weapons research, then the fifteen-year requirement should be considered even smaller. One can even find the basic design for a thermonuclear device on the Internet; so making such devices must be far less complicated in the current time with the available free information. So, we will stay with the fifteen-year period just to be fair. So, if we decide for the sake of fairness using 1995 as the start point for the Iranian nuclear research into weapons. That would mean that Iran should have been fully capable for the manufacture of thermonuclear warheads certainly by 2010. As the JCPOA was signed initially in November of 2013, three years after Iran should have already found a system for the production of a thermonuclear device, we can probably also assume that the JCPOA was signed closing the nuclear barn-house door well after the thermonuclear horses had escaped. Iran could have been building such weapons for three years before they entered an agreement which had little if any punitive measures and weak and limp investigatory abilities after which they could very easily have continued their manufacture of warheads. Assuming that Iranian physicists are competent and actually were working honestly on weapons development, the world should expect that Iran has at least fifty, if not several hundreds, of thermonuclear warheads sitting currently in the ground in hardened silos atop missiles capable of striking virtually anywhere in Europe and across the entirety of the MENA states. Add into the formula their capability to place a satellite capable of carrying a small thermonuclear device into polar low Earth orbit, Iran already could deliver a devastating device anywhere on the planet. But that is not the end of the threat.

Iran is known to have also researched EMP weapons, particularly it is suspected they have developed those with nuclear and thermonuclear devices as their trigger systems. These EMP devices could be capable of setting off a continent wide EMP pulse if detonated between thirty and three-hundred miles. It could effect anywhere from a closed area to a near open area including all of the United States (see image below). The outlines of the range of a strong device detonated at three-hundred miles altitude are purely frightening. Imagine turning off the electricity for up to as much as a decade across North America or Europe or almost fifteen-hundred mile radius effect anywhere on the globe. This is a threat that Iran may have already produced weapons with such capability as any nuclear device can be modified such that it has a stronger EMP pulse effect and a lower yield. This means if they choose less of an explosive shock, that they can maximize the EMP effects of their weapon crippling any nation which has not fortified their electrical distribution grids. The really scary item is that very few, if any, nations have bothered to spend the necessary funds to fortify their grids to protect them from an EMP device. This is despite this effect being known since the middle of the 1950’s.

The United States carried out a test of the EMP effect with a test in the early 1960’s finding that a moderate strength device exploded over the Pacific Ocean at an altitude of two-hundred-fifty miles and found the device affected electrical distribution in Hawaii approximately nine-hundred miles distant. This was beyond their expected range and this was a weapon not specifically set to maximize the EMP effect. The EMP Pulse has multiple ranges of effect which cause electrical devices an entire series of stresses which maximizes the numbers and types of electronic devices and how they are potentially destroyed. The more nations allow their electrical grids to remain susceptible to the adverse effects of EMP pulse attacks, the more expensive it becomes to protect their systems in the future. The advantage of hardening electrical grids as early as possible is that once they have been hardened, keeping the entirety of the grid hardened as time continues and the system grows, is that such hardening can be included in building regulations thus all upgrades and additions to the systems will retain the advantages made by the hardening of their electrical grids. The United States figured that it would have been implemented in three-to-five years at a cost of ten-to-twenty billion dollars back in 2008. This would have included hardening the entirety of the system. Even after this has been performed, devices plugged into the system could still be susceptible and should the Congress pass new standards today which required all future electronic devices which will be powered by the electrical grid to be made less susceptible to EMP pulses, it would need to give industry around three years in order for new power supplies to be designed and all the old power supplied to be sold or upgraded, perhaps a decade later devices would be made EMP immune. Even if they were only required to only build power supplies to be fifty percent less susceptible, within a decade almost all moderate quality devices would be near hundred percent protected simply because the public would demand such protection once EMP was raised by such that it became something sellers could use in their commercials in order to claim their protection was superior than their competitor. If you want proof, look at the many food cereals which claim to be healthy and their specific amounts of the different kinds of fats, triglycerides, omega-3 fatty acids, calories and you name what else, but they will each claim they have the magic combination which researchers claim will make the healthy eater drool.

EMP area by bursts at 30, 120 and 300 miles

EMP area by bursts at 30, 120 and 300 miles

Seatbelts were originally an option on vehicles and the commercials showed the great advantages to wearing them. Within a few years, virtually every car had seatbelts standard and then soon after the Congress made them mandatory. Then came the tree-point seatbelts and they were standard even in the sub-compacts and then Congress made them mandatory. Air quality and water quality has been cleaned up well beyond what the laws written half a decade later required by industry simply due to the pressure the people placed on cleaning up the environment and industry responded and there were even commercials which stated the advances the production of some products were using at their factories to reduce pollution. The upper limits on people-power on manufacturers are near beyond the ability for us to measure. You probably would like us to prove this point, and so we will. Back on April 23, 1985, the Coca-Cola Company decided to release their great new idea, “New Coke,” and it ended up being less exciting than hoped. The BIG problem was that they discontinued their old formula and discarded it once and for all betting the company on their new product. All their testing had proven this product to outperform Pepsi with Pepsi drinkers. There was a small problem with their research, they forgot to test Coke drinkers. As it turns out, Coke drinkers were quite pleased with the standard Coke product and were quite distressed when this new more Pepsi-ish formula replaced it. Well, within a rather short period, on July 11, 1985, seventy-eight days after New Coke’s introduction, Classic Coke was announced. It was the old formula making its return after a short hiatus. That is what the power of the people demanding their preference can do.

Congress will claim that their regulations have done so much to improve our lives, the reality is the people demanding companies meet their expectations has done so much and Congress, late as usual, has jumped on the bandwagon after the companies have already circled the wagons and put their ducks in a row meeting the people’s demands. The politicians have to have their talking points, and that is all they usually are and they are depending on the people not realizing that it was their power that got the changes and Congress just jumped in at the end and is attempting to steal all the credit. Yes, they are a bunch of over-pious, overly-righteous, self-promoting egomaniacs who believe that the people really are that easily fooled. We wish they were not so close to reality on that assumption and being informed is what makes people less susceptible to the politicians stroking them just to get their vote and then serve the moneyed interests who paid for the town hall meeting and barbeque that gained them the votes. When the people demand that their electrical providers harden their service system, that is when it will be performed. Once the entirety of the nations is hardened, then Congress will require it and put aside tons of money presumably to harden the electrical grid. The money will be given to the surviving providers to repay them for what the people forced them into action and performing. Congress, always is there with the money, just after the fact more often than not.

Did Trump Just Give Putin a Way Out of Syria?

The article by Mark Langfan for Arutz Sheva is a good read and has some interesting propositions. His optimism and suppositions would make the world a safer place if they came to fruition but perhaps we should scale back the ideas of future cooperation and settle for the possible over the preferable. Peace and secure and unchallenged borders throughout the Balkans would be wonderful but are not exactly possible as the spirits there are too unsettled and restless. Further, it is not likely that Putin would settle for just one-third of the Ukraine plus the Crimean Peninsula as he desires the weapons manufacturing capabilities in the central regions of the Ukraine and all the wheat fields to feed all of Russia just as Stalin had done. Putin would never allow his prize to become part of NATO. But the one interesting piece from the article was the exit policy which, with the world and their condemnation of Bashir al-Assad over the release of Sarin nerve agent on a civilian population, gives Putin the perfect excuse. His theory is Putin will use this incident to pull his support for al-Assad and then working with NATO, or with Trump to be more accurate, will place an acceptable, and presumably pliable, leader in Syria in return for the two naval bases and airfield and then everyone will be free to remove ISIS, the Islamic State, working in coordination. We hope at least this part of Mr. Langfan’s exercise in a proposed future in Syria and the rest of Europe, the Balkans and Ukraine will come to fruition. It almost appears that Mr. Langfan believes that Presidents Trump and Putin are cooperating in a pact of mutual endorsement and support, likely a misconception, but still appears to permeate his thinking.

Unfortunately, thus far President Putin appears to be stanchly defending Bashir al-Assad and placing the blame on the munitions kept presumably by the rebels, possibly ISIS, at the targeted location. That is not the actions of a man who is planning on deserting al-Assad to replace him with anyone, especially a Sunni. Russia is not about to alter their cozy relations with Iran either. Had Russia any plans on removing al-Assad and deserting their support for Iran, the delivery early this year of the S-300 anti-aircraft batteries would never have happened. Russia is firmly committed to the Shia cause and the projected plans by Iran to spread Shia Islam across the Middle East and eventually on to Northern Africa and beyond. What the Russian plans are, is quite a mystery but the Iranian plans are an easy read as it is all in their holy books under Jihad.

The Mullah of Iran intend on spreading Shia Islam to every corner of the globe, including Russia. Their plan is not to accomplish this by this year or even in the lifetime of the Supreme Leader nor the next Supreme Leader or necessarily the next or the next but eventually there will be one who does finish their destiny. The leaders of Iran are assured that their viewed destiny cannot be prevented because it was written in the Quran and Allah’s will can never be denied. Of course the Sunnis, such as Islamic State or the Royals in Saudi Arabia, also believe the same verses guarantee their eventual supremacy of the entire world. I know what some are saying, both sets of what some of you are saying. One group is claiming that they cannot both be correct and there is another group simply exclaiming for us to give them a break and are we really trying to push that crazy Islam intends to conquer the world canard? The latter groups will claim that nobody still believes they can honestly conquer the world and that the idea of conquering the world went out after the death of Alexander the Great, when Rome fell, with the end of the British Empire, or when the Soviet Union collapsed. Well, here are a few little clues which may answer a few doubts. First, we are not claiming anything new with the idea that, Islam will conquer the world because it is Allah’s will, that is in the Quran. The Quran can be confusing for many reasons, first of which is it is not arranged in chronological order, it is arranged for ease of children memorizing it starting young so it is in order from shortest to longest. For more information we wrote an introductory article a number of years back which we should update when we get a chance.

As far as nobody thinks they can conquer the world any more, allow us to mention a few other than our Islamic friends, allow us to introduce the Chinese in command of the mainland who have yet to surrender on the concept of a world ruled by their improved version of Communism with a touch of Capitalism, and there is Putin who was sold before he became a member of the KGB that Russia must rule everything. Also, there is our chubby friend Kim Jung Un who is just insane enough to still think he will be the one though he can be discounted due to lack of sanity and we are sure there is someone else somewhere who cannot let go of the megalomaniacal hope that they will one day rule the world, if not the universe. Just because the western world reached the conclusion that the world was not capable of being conquered and it was more profitable to engage in commerce does not mean that everyone else in every other part of the world also saw such as the only sane result and still believe the best way to attain world unity is not cooperation but by their singular conquest of the world or the complete domination of their philosophy, rules and religion. The world does not run under one philosophy or one set of understandings. That has been a somewhat difficult belief to have some in the western world to understand as they honestly believe that the rest of the world has or will adopt western culture and ideas as they honestly believe that it is superior. Surprise, that is also a form of conquest of the globe through a less violent means, by cultural dominance erasing all other cultures. One of the problems with this idea is that not all of the globe has electricity and many nations closely monitor all information and even music from coming within their borders. Some manage this through propaganda or religious edicts and strict enforcement.

What matters is that there really are bad people by western standards of Judeo-Christian morality. Don’t start rolling the eyes at the use of the worlds Judeo-Christian morality as that has been the dominating force in the western world which allowed for the scientific revolution and the progression to the separation of church and state which allowed for the technological progress of the last few centuries. That was not universally the case and as the western world made great progress and appeared to become dominant, the Islamic world crept into their shell and believed that returning to their original roots when they were dominant, the seventh century through eleventh century when they were on their way to conquering the world (see map below). Islam has been waiting for their opportunity to return to preeminence. The Saudi Arabians believed they could buy that future with their oil wealth along with the other Arabian Gulf States, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and have been buying the necessary weaponry over the years and have been supplying much of the arms and funding, through back channels for deniability, for the Islamic State, formerly ISIS. They were the money behind al-Qaeda, provided fifteen of the nineteen hijackers on 9/11, have assisted the Wahhabi sect of Islam which have their own designs on world conquest and have expended too many American and allied soldiers fighting their wars to keep them safe. Some concepts and beliefs die hard and Islam promise from Allah of ruling the world might just top the list.

Spread of Islam Across North Africa and into the Iberian Peninsula

Spread of Islam Across North Africa and into the Iberian Peninsula

The conclusion of this is that Putin has signed on with Iran and the Shiites for better or worse as the Sunnis betrayed Russia when they switched sides changing over to American arms and protections. The odds are Putin not only remembers the betrayal but that it weighs heavily on him and is a part of his reasoning of supporting Iran. He likely sees Saudi Arabia as the leader of the Sunnis and the main reason why he will not betray Iran and thus stand by Bashir al-Assad. As for was al-Assad responsible for the Sarin Gas chemical release, that will remain something which might be discovered in whatever ensuing investigation is conducted. That also could depend on who does the investigation. It is possible there will be multiple investigations with them being at odds with one another depending on which side conducts the investigation. Such is the state of our world and it could not be more dangerous.
