It is Time to End the Arab Occupation

Yesterday we posted an article filled with unassailable set of original ownership of the lands of Israel, the lands between the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River and down the East Bank belong to the Israelites who built their homelands after spending forty years in the dessert such that those who doubted Hashem died out allowing a new and newly energized and reinvigorated People ready to do as numerous others Peoples would also do much later in history, struck out their claim to a strip of land to call their own. Thus the Israelite Nation would be born established with near her current borders, though the current borders are smaller now than back in somewhere around 1000 to 1250 BCE. Somewhat later in history Greece was cut from the Aegean Islands, Italy from the remnants of the Roman Empire on the peninsula centered on Rome, the Franks, the Celts all much later in history. Then there were the United States in 1776 CE, Germany in 1871 CE, China unified around 210 BCE, India around 550 BCE and out from under British colonial rule in 1947, one year before Israel also broke from under British colonial rule from the Mandate, starting near 925 CE continuing gaining other nationalities of the isles through the 1920s but so many doubt the Jewish claims to Israel. Israel was known as Judea for centuries from where the name Jew was derived. The name Palestine was derived from the name the Roman Empire imprinted on the lands in order to destroy the Israelite, the Jewish claim to the lands and their plot appears to still have traction.

There is no more validity to the name Palestine than there is West Bank which is actually parts of Judea and most of Samaria but Jordan also was attempting to erase the Jewish sounding names so as to weaken the Jewish claims. The proof that their claims are largely bogus is their referencing the Israeli Capital’s name as Jerusalem and not al-Quds, the name imposed on the Jewish Capital City to erase its history just as Istanbul erased the history of Constantinople. The main difference is that Jerusalem is in Jewish hands and thus they do not have solid claims to change its name though it would not surprise me if textbooks in Europe soon refer to Jerusalem as al-Quds as Europe sinks slowly from a Judeo-Christian culture to an Islamic culture at which point every shred of Western ethics and equal rights for all peoples will be replaced by Sharia and the inequality as imposed by Islam where women are lesser beings, non-Muslims must have scorn heaped upon them and the courts decide cases on the basis of which side is Muslim allowing their truth to outweigh reality and deciding Islam on Islam trials by position in the society over the truth. Civility in Europe is about to die a horrid death and what is required to prevent this catastrophe is entirely missing in the European Union (EU) rule as the EU is nothing more than a group of vengeful bureaucrats who would sell their birthright if the price were right.

Imagine if Israel had renamed the Sinai Peninsula Western Israel and claimed that it belonged to Israel and they evicted Egyptians from their homes, businesses, farms and other properties demanding the flee or be shot and them place Israelis in these homes, businesses and other properties, what would be the reaction of the world bodies? There would be an outrage unequalled in all of history with the possible exception of the Romans renaming Judea calling it Syria Palaestina. Yet when Jordan took control of areas which belonged to Israel and were called Judea and Samaria and Jordan forcibly removed every Jews, destroyed every Synagogue, every Jewish house of worship, and erased every vestige of Jewish history and ownership renaming streets, villages, cities and anything else which had a Hebrew or ancient name attaching them to Jewish history there was not even the slightest protest outside the Jewish communities and even then largely the Israeli voices. The world walked off ignoring everything simply claiming that Jordan had won these lands fair and square in a war and the Jews needed to suck it up and live with it. That was the tone of things in 1948.

Jump forward nineteen years to 1967 and Jordan once again joined in a war against Israel joining Syria and Egypt and with support from other Arab nations and Israel liberated these same stolen lands and the world went insane. They demanded that Israel return every inch of land, not on paper, but in every ounce of spirit. They now are calling for the last lands to be returned this time to a group of criminal savage terror loving hateful people steeped in sixty years of propagandas demanding they murder Israelis and that appears often to be their main occupation. They want the Arabs called Palestinians, so they can claim they were the Romans or even some aboriginal tribe which resided here when and Cro-Magnon prehistoric humanoids ruled the lands through brutal conquest where it truly was survival of the strongest and most violent. Looking at much of their modern activities and one might be persuaded to believe they are directly related to these prehistoric humanoids. The idea is to invent a nation and allow them to perform any and all forms of terrorism, but only against the Jews and Israel, and as long as they leave the rest of the world alone, who cares, its only that troublesome people we desire to be rid of. So what if much of modern life comes as a direct result of their contributions over the centuries, we can survive without the Jew. That is the tenor of the discussion though such is never said publically, well, almost never. Then there was the little open microphone incident where French President Sarkozy and United States President Obama which drove us to fashion a fun picture of some potential future event involving the three soon thereafter (see below). The open microphone revealed this little gem which went like this in the the conversation between Sarkozy and Obama during the G-20 conference in Cannes in 2011 where the following was overheard,

French President Sarkozy said: “Netanyahu, I can’t stand him. He’s a liar.”
United States President Obama snapped back, “You are sick of him, but I have to work with him every day.”

Sarkozy and Obama discussing Netanyahu and by so all of Israel

There have been other such incidents where a conversation was overheard by the wrong party or microphones which were supposed to be off were live or even cases where reporters knew the person controlling the translation microphones did not like a particular person the reporter really desired something juicy so he arranged for a microphone to remain live unknown to the target. All’s fair in politics, or so it would seem. Another incident took place at a fancy dress party in Britain where Daniel Bernard in 2001 overheard as an interested third party at this posh London event as French Ambassador to the United Kingdom was heard to state,

“All the current troubles in the world are because of that shitty little country Israel. Why should the world be in danger of World War III because of those people?”

We could probably spend hours looking up slips of the tongue where different leaders of Western nations, ambassadors and other various politicians and officials stated their true feelings towards Israel but this should be sufficient as some choice examples.

The plain reality is that the land was occupied for nineteen years by Jordan who illegally transferred Jordanian citizens into the areas they illegally held both willingly and unwillingly which makes a great many of those people currently residing in what is falsely referred to as the West Bank illegal residents who should rightfully be returned to Jordan. Further, Jordan offered and almost every last resident took citizenship of Jordan which, as they were never Israeli citizens, all of the Arab population in Judea and Samaria Jordanian citizens no matter how many times Jordan claimed they rescinded all of their citizenships. That was just another way that the Arabs were allowed to illegally force situation onto Israel which were not of her making. The end result is there are, if the numbers provided are anywhere near valid, approaching six or seven million Arabs who have no country and are thus considered to be Israeli outcasts. We are simply waiting for that number to double using it to cover all the refugees flooding into Europe such that when Europe, if they should, refuse these refugees and demand they return to their origins they will all be assigned Israeli cities to claim as their original homes which they lost at some preassigned time in the past and demand that Israel give them their five hundred hectares, a plow and an ox.

When the Good Are Leaderless

This week has proven how absolutely horrific the world scene can turn when the Western governments are leaderless and not only do not have a policy but don’t even have a clue. The United States State Department has released statements explaining their expectations that Secretary of State Kerry will hold meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif during the ceremonies this week at the United Nations to discuss the situation in Syria, to discuss what role the United States might play towards stabilizing the situation and combatting the Islamic State. This is the end result of Washington leading from behind. The full ramifications has yet to even begin to play out as to the far reaching effects of the surrender of any leading role by the United States over the past six plus years of the Obama foreign policy. Further tokens being cashed due to the lack of American presence, let alone leadership, will be the handing of seventy-five Russian tanks from Syrian forces to Hezballah in order for the latter to form a core around which to build an armored division. These tanks will be T-55 and T-72 models which make them outdated compared with the United States Abrams or the more modern Israeli Merkava IV tanks currently deployed by the two Western militaries, but when compared to no such force these are a definitive step up towards fulfilling the Hezballah desire to field heavy armor units. Further there are plans for Russian and Iranian tank commanders to train Hezballah in the best tactics and use of these assets. This news comes fast on the heels of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu meeting with Russian President Putin in Moscow where Netanyahu received Putin’s guarantee that Russian forces currently being deployed in Syria were there to provide a positive influence and not to alter the balance of power. This news of the gifting of heavy main battle tanks, no matter how dated, to Hezballah is not what one might call having no deleterious effects on the current balance of power.

United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman, top American negotiator for the Iranian nuclear deal, was quoted according to The Associated Press on Friday that the Obama administration is ready to open a dialogue with Iran about the situation in Syria. This comes on the heels with an Administration signaling their readiness to soften their position on the requirement for Bahir al-Assad to be removed from power in any progress in ending the carnage on the ground in Syria. Additionally the Administration has fully admitted their having no priorities nor plans for addressing the Islamic State and that the United States was taking a back seat and simply providing assistance behind the clearer vision provided by Iran and Russia as to what will be the most advantageous manner in which to address the Islamic State. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reportedly made it patently clear to America in the past that their assisting in taking the lead in fighting the Islamic State was predicated on their continued support for al-Assad and that the United States demands for his removal were a dead issue. It now appears that the Obama Administration is ready and willing to surrender on this issue and will be satisfied to once again to lead from behind.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has made it clear previously stating, “The United States’ ‘obsession’ with Assad isn’t helping in the common fight against the threat from Islamic State… People put the fate of one person whom they hate above the fight against terrorism. Islamic State can go ‘very far’ unless stopped, and air strikes alone are not going to do the trick. If people continue to acquiesce with what is going on and continue to acquiesce with those who categorically refuse to start the political process until Bashar Assad disappears, then I’m not very optimistic for the future of this region…”

Storm Brewing and Time to Ride the Storm Out

There is a Storm Brewing and the Time Has Come to Simply Ride the Storm Out

That is as straight a manner of stating that in Syria things will be done as benefits Russia if anything is to be done with their taking the lead. This was as definitive a ‘my way or the highway’ get ‘out of town’ reading of the riot act and exactly what can be expected from President Putin as a reaction to the complete lack of United States initiative. This lack of United States policy is a large part responsible for why Egypt and Israel have both had to meet with Russia’s Putin to receive any assurances that the plans for the Middle East were not planning on eclipsing their future and stake in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Still, this lack of leadership by the United States will leave Israel in a compromised position for as long as she remains beholden to the United States as her life raft. Perhaps it would have been wiser for Israel to have read the tea leaves and departed Obama back when doing so had advantages which are no longer in play.

The best path left for Israel is to watch the upcoming elections in the United States with great interest and care and plan for either eventuality when the results are in. It would be unwise to aggravate an already untenable and shaky situation any further and probably best to attempt to prevent any further daylight to come between the allies and hope to ride the storm out. In the meantime Prime Minister Netanyahu should prepare to defend his attitude when opposition forces within the Israeli government such as Yair Lapid make as much out of this delicate balancing act. The one advantage for Netanyahu is that the Israeli electorate more than likely trust Lapid even less than they do Bibi. The one truth is that Bibi has attached his wagon to the United States and declared his decision to ride out the remaining year and a half in order to see what makes its way into the White House starting January of 2017. Bibi is betting that closer relations will become presentable with the next administration and the Israeli public appears to be along for the ride for now. This could result in a bumpy ride and make for an interesting next election cycle in Israel. Until then it is batten down the hatches and keep on riding the storm out.

One would have thought that the President would have considered the possibility that he might lose the game before initiating a game of political hardball with Prime Minister Netanyahu on Netanyahu’s home court. From all the hurtful reactions and threats that he be declared the winner and have his way or else one might also begin to question the sanity and ability to command the largest and most powerful military on the planet. For all intents and purposes, President Obama has truly lost his mind over losing an election in which he was personally present but not an actual candidate. Is it beyond the ability of the childlike man sitting in the most powerful position in the world to accept that the citizens of another nation might decide independent of his desires when electing their nation’s leader in times where that nation possibly faces some of the most daunting challenges to its existence in its ever so fragile history? If such a contingency was not considered as even possible, let alone probable, and thus comes as a total surprise and impossibility to comprehend or accept by President Obama, such that in reaction to this reality he now threatens Israel with annihilation, must be taken as evidence that the President may suffer from debilitating imbalances and is now a threat to not only Israel but the entire world going forward. The reaction to something that had to at some point have been contemplated, that playing hardball politics against a seasoned and proven adversary might not be decided as the President intended, was at best childish and unwarranted from such as the President of the United States. That despite sending the best of the best of the available political operatives, the ones who were to be credited with engineering President Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012, backed by millions of dollars and euros from the United States and European governments and still being unable to defeat Netanyahu had to be an option to the situation even if an unexpected option. That President Obama would take such a defeat so intimately personal is the surprise even beyond the failure of such an overbearing effort, but perhaps it was the overbearing nature of the effort which enabled its downfall. Simply described, me thinks the man doth protest too much.

What is necessary now is for somebody in the White House to fall on their sword but still attempt in doing so to explain to the President that sometimes in life one will eventually, no matter how seemingly impossible, actually come up against an opponent who will prevail even against one’s best of efforts. I realize that this may just be the first time that President Obama had somebody, or around four-million somebodies, go to the polls and refute his wise and sagely advice and instead vote for somebody whom President Obama finds beyond distasteful all the way to an adversarial pain in the derriere. But to then demand that despite the people of Israel in an open and free election choosing this person as their next Prime Minister that this person must now act as if the other side won and is dictating policies is beyond arrogant and just a bit pedantic, unwarranted and beneath the office which Obama holds. That President Obama apparently intends to punish Israel and use the full force and power of his office to do so is as frightening as it is unwarranted. The comments that the United States, meaning President Obama without consulting either the peoples or the Congress of the nation he presumably leads, is reassessing relations with Israel and intends to quite possibly force a solution upon Israel against the desires and will of the Israeli government and to do so unilaterally and by any and all means at the disposal of the President of the United States and his administration using international bodies and alliances which will knowingly place Israel and her population in dire peril of loss of life and nationhood is simply unacceptable use of the power of the President. Does anybody honestly place forcing Israel to completely surrender all points and be forced to not only surrender all points to an adversary whose stated intentions is the destruction of Israel and the murder of its predominant population and to do so unilaterally and without receiving any assurances or even any hint that such surrender of all points of negotiation produce an end to the violence against Israel from these Arab entities is more a declaration of war than a diplomatic seeking of a resolution. Does President Obama honestly intend to use force of arms to insist that Israel now comply with his standing threat to pull back unilaterally to the pre June 1967 war lines, also called the Green Line, without any guarantees or concessions from the Arab side by Mahmoud Abbas and then begin to negotiate the remaining issues such as dividing Jerusalem, final borders and other issues. This was what was presented to Netanyahu as a potential solution being considered by the White House. The unanswered question of what remains to be negotiated once Israel has ceded every inch of lands which are contested beyond Israel pulling up her roots and moving to Madagascar or wherever as the only remaining issue at such a point is how many Arab refugees will be shoved down Israel’s throat destroying any and every last vestige of the Jewish nature of Israel and one more time sending the Jewish people out into the Diaspora begging the permission of others to survive in a world which is closer to the next Holocaust than it is to accepting a Jewish state despite the actual, and hopefully not temporary, state for the Jewish people.

What is beyond belief is that President Obama honestly expects Prime Minister elect, he will not actually be the Prime Minister until he has been tasked with and successfully forming a coalition of minimally sixty-one Minister of the Knesset, to commit national suicide just so President Obama can claim another Nobel Peace Prize while claiming to have untied the Gordian Knot which has proven to be the Arab-Israeli peace. The problem with this solution is it resembles exactly the method used in legends by Alexander the Great when he cleaved the Gordian Knot in two claiming to have untied it though use of force was not considered a proper method and thus Alexander would eventually fail in his efforts to conquer all lands the knot represented. The use of force or threat of force will not be any more successful in untying the Gordian Knot of the modern world any more than Alexander’s skillful use of his strong sword succeeded in ancient times and will only make matters closer to all-out war. Israel will not go quietly into the gentleness that good night, but into her old age will she burn and rave at close of day and rage, rage against the dying of the light. Israel has waited her sons’ and daughters’ return to once again be blessed by this land and this land will remain our succor into eternity for as long as the sun does rise and the winds gently caress these lands will it remain our home to even our last dying effort will we hold to our rightful inheritance. The land is ours by right of promise from Heaven echoed rightfully by men of courage whose efforts and love of Zion engaged and brought forth the Balfour Declaration which was then universalized and made the law of the lands under the auspices of the League of Nations who adopted the Balfour Declaration word for precious word written into the San Remo Conference and ratified unanimously by the League of Nations and adopted by the United States by the Anglo-American Convention on Palestine in 1925 and confirmed in 1945 by Article 80 of the United Nations and has never been abrogated thus still is applicable under International Law. President Obama should be informed exactly what he is intending by his actions, that should he persist then his actions will be interpreted as a declaration of hostility and an attempt to abrogate standing International Law and also to have taken actions against a standing treaty which as such is the law of the land for the United States. The areas into which President Obama, in his obsessed mind, plans on treading is thin ice due to the roiling boil of the waters beneath. Should his plan include use of the United Nations Security Council, let him be warned that the United Nations is also bounded by the San Remo Conference and under its own Charter in Article 80 these promises were reaffirmed and ratified once again entering the conclusion of San Remo into the present framework of International Law. With such justification and the righteousness of our claims to this our lands will Israel stand against any efforts you may intend to sanction in your name. Remember that without Congressional actions the President of the United States may not declare war or deploy troops and doing so against treaties entered into by the United States and ratified by Congress that the President might once again find himself standing lonely on the battlefield of ideas without a clue. No, President Obama, you may not take your vengeance out on a nation just because they did not heed your presumably sagely advice and instead elected a leader who will serve Israel and Israeli interests the world be damned if that is what is required. And if this leader fails in that task, then we will elect a new leader more attuned to the needs of the day and sworn to protect that which is rightfully ours by treaty and, more importantly, by the will of Heaven. Would you like to see our deed? Well, it can be found in Genesis where Abraham was promised all the lands where it states in “Genesis 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” Is that easy enough because if not there is more even to include the treaties of man which promise the same and more, but you already are knowledgeable of such things being the most able man on earth. After all, according to Patrick Gaspard, your first White House political director, in an interview with The New Yorker in November 2008, he quoted you having stated, “I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.” With minimal extrapolation we can guess you exceed at all things mortal and border on the realm of the immortal, still, Israel will not be pushed. We are a stiff-necked people and even more-so when our own beloved Zion is up for presumptive discussions. Do not doubt that for a moment, simply do not transgress there and think real hard as to whether such threats and actions will be worth the price you will pay when all is said and done. Just go repair Syria, ISIS, Libya, Yemen and the other problems which cry so much louder for your attentions, but those would require heavy lifting and you see Israel as an easy target, the low hanging fruit but you are mistaken, very mistaken. One would have thought you might have taken the hint from the election, leave well enough as is and go tackle some pressing problem and leave us to deal with our situations. Bye-bye.
