Israeli Electioneering Missing One Large Mark

Israeli electioneering is, well, what you would think, all about Israel. They speak of reaching peace with the Arab Palestinians, ending terrorism, growing the economy, assuring that nobody is ignored, feeding the poorest amongst us and the myriad of other claims and promises which are all almost worth the paper on which the speeches are written. The promises in Israel are slightly more accurate than are the promises in American elections or any other nation where there are basically two parties who vie for ruling. In Israel, as we are currently situated, one party is going to rule the roost as it has been for quite some time and the rest are competing in order to have sufficient value that they are included in the coalition and thus will either receive the money they crave or the powerful Ministerships which cover those things which matter most to their base. There are some of the parties who speak about reaching out and being attractive to the Jews in America and even Europe. This is often a play for the Anglo-sphere’s votes. What they are probably not aware of is that most of the Jews who make Aliyah did so in order to get away from many of the American Jews. Our Synagogue had fairly equal numbers of people who congratulated us when they learned of our plans to move to Israel while the other main group questioned our sanity and wanted to know why we were leaving what to them was the promised land to go to some terror filled third world backwater of a nation which had hopelessly disastrous political system with such a tyrannical wrong-headed Prime Minister gathering around him those settler supporters and other less desirable influences. It was the second group which made us glad to be leaving, and here in Israel we found people we considered to be relatively more sane. There was a third group which was too eclectic to describe easily but some of its parts included those who were simply curious, others who asked what is Israel like after we visited for a couple of weeks on our pilot trip, some who simply turned up their noses and ignored us (probably better that way), others who simply had no clue what to say and then our favorite group consisting of those who admired our decision and supported our conservative views but requested anonymity so they would not be closed out of the various Temple activities, clubs and numerous boards. Even in Oklahoma the Jews were definitively leftist liberals favoring the LBGQT rights, anti-Israel beyond the Green Line (settlers), anti-Netanyahu as they wanted Labor or Meretz making the coalition and some could not understand why they were not given the opportunity (probably a strong correlation with those who believe the Russians got Trump elected), save the whales, dolphins, tuna, polar bears, penguins and everything that is conceived except people, they favored abortion on demand, though, to their credit, not all of them as there were some liberals who were also pro-life plus all of the other pageant of intersectionality causes with one glaring exception, BDS. We have to give them credit for at least realizing the European driven Palestinian Liberation Organization, Arab League sponsored boycotting, divesting and sanctioning of Israel was purely anti-Semitic and had nothing to do with right or wrong but to do with the destruction of Israel and the end of the Jewish State. At least in Oklahoma they realized that once the world would be able to drive Israel into the ground that the next step would be to drive the Jews worldwide into the ground and then proudly claim they had performed a glorious and meritorious service to the world.

But, what, pray-tell, is this subject that the Israeli political class is ignoring? The answer is, Anti-Semitism. It is not just anti-Semitism, but where it will lead and the resultant demands which this will place upon Israel and the shock to every system and sector of Israeli governance and society. Across Europe, there are a great number of Jews considering leaving their home nation to seek safer and less hateful lands. Over half, somewhere around sixty-five percent, say they plan on moving to Israel with the rest split between the United States and Canada with the former receiving the lion’s share. In Britain, the Jews are particularly nervous and should Jeremy Corbin be elected as Prime Minister there will be a sort of exodus of Jews fleeing the British Isles. The Netherlands, Sweden and France are amongst the leading nations across Europe where Jews are frightened to wear anything identifying their religion. No necklaces with a Star of David pendent, same for lapel brooch, no kipot or anything else which would denote Judaism. Giulio Meotti regularly writes about the sad state of affairs for the Jews of Europe often specifically about Italy, his homelands, and secondarily about France, Britain, the Netherlands and Scandinavia. He has also often echoed some of our themes about the promises made to the Zionists specifically and Jews in general after World War I which the world has strongly attempted to sabotage, undermine and try to chip away taking Israel apart in pieces. He has not quite reached our conclusion that the powers that be in Europe wish to erase entirely the stain left by their moment of weakness in permitting the Jewish People to return home. We saw the real face of modern Europe as well as the United States State Department when the Kurds passed overwhelmingly a referendum and in near unanimity they roared that the Kurds must never seek independence ever as such is beyond acceptable belief. Israel was virtually alone in backing the Kurd’s dream for independence, something which was promised them after World War I but reneged in order for the British, read J Paul Getty, to get the Mosul oil fields. Israel even offered assistance to the Kurds should they have gone ahead and declared their independence. That dream has been viciously put down by Iraq with a great deal of assistance from Iran and the IRGC military units. We suspect that they would have also had some support, at a minimum logistical and supplies, from the United States despite the State Department’s protests. Israel is familiar with the State Department and its kowtowing to certain demands and almost always choosing the wrong side.

But in the lead of primaries for the parties which select their candidate lists democratically (most of the parties the leader or a small cabal choose the list of Ministers choosing their closest friends and major supporters for the top spots most likely to actually be seated in the Knesset after elections. Every party is required to provide a list before the elections so the people of Israel can know who the candidates are for each party and they can presumably choose the party whose list is most appealing. The first item which Israelis had best get their head around is that Israel is going to need all the land she can find. When the anti-Semitism boils over, the numbers of Jews who will be running scared to Israel will be in the thousands, then tens of thousands, and eventually they will be counted in the millions. It will be all but the most assimilated Jews initially but eventually the Jewish population, whether they see themselves as Jews or not, will be told that their presence is no longer welcome and they should go away. There are many amongst my Israeli born friends at my Synagogue who question all the building which is being performed where we live in Nahariya and I tell them that we will need every last one of these apartments and more and that we should be building at an even brisker pace putting up even more and taller buildings. The one thing in Israel is that if we plan on growing most of our own food, then we will have to either build upwards towards the clouds or downward or both. Currently they do a bit of both with many buildings meeting the demand that they provide at least one or two, depending on rules we have not bothered to check, parking spaces per apartment. They build the apartments going upward and the parking in the numerous basements amongst the other supporting machinery and structures required by their building. But from what we have seen, which is limited, the building is not at such a pace as to accommodate an influx which would increase the population by fifty percent, or three and a half million people. That is probably a fairly accurate appraisal as to the numbers of living quarters which will be required over the coming decade, and this is a conservative estimate, it could be even higher. The other item which need be remembered is that unlike the rest of the developed world, the population in Israel is increasing and doing so at a very respectable rate comfortably well above replacement rate. Another pleasing statistic is that while the reproductive rate amongst Israeli Arab women has been steadily decreasing, the reproductive rate of Israeli Jewish women has been greatly increasing and has surpassed the Arab rate. The ever-threatened demographic time-bomb is simply another deception used to bogusly argue against annexing eastern Jerusalem, which has already been done, annexing the Golan Heights, also completed, and definitely not any of Judea and Samaria, unavoidable and coming sooner or later one way or another. The retaking of almost every inch of land the Jews were promised by the Mandate System will be made an integral part of Israel with Gaza as the sole possible exception. The land will be necessary to hold the Israeli population by 2025, 2030 at the very latest. This is without addressing the possibility that there will be a large number of Jews coming to Israel out of the United States, an easily perceived necessity should things continue as they are already progressing.

Nobody with any sense would argue that anti-Semitism is rising and coming from the people on the far left and not from the right. Nationalists and even popularists are supportive of Israel and in the fight against anti-Semitism. This also includes many Evangelical Christians who are amongst the leading supporters of Israel outside of Jewish support. One problem is that many in the Jewish communities lead such insular lives that they are all but blind to the rising anti-Semitism around them. Many still believe that the only anti-Semitism comes from the right wing of the political spectrum, and that does still exist amongst what are often called paleo-conservatives, these are the likes of Pat Buchanan, the Nazis, White Supremacists and conservatives still stuck in what we like to call the way back when things were still orderly, they believe that orderly means they get to decide who sits at the table, and Jews are not amongst those permitted. Believe it or not, there are still a small number of country clubs with exclusionary rules which have never been challenged as nobody other than the crusty old paleo-conservatives and various other hate groups desire joining. Today’s anti-Semitism is coming from the left and the Muslims, the new Muslims more so than Muslims who have resided in the western world longer than fifteen or twenty years. The groups which have shown a proclivity for anti-Semitic views include the leadership of the Women’s March, BLM, CAIR and more as we discussed in greater depth in our articles “The Reality on the Universally Spreading of Anti-Semitism,” “Evident Worldwide Coordinated Anti-Semitism ,” “Methodology of Leftist NGO’s and Their Enablers” and to a lesser extent in “Jews Are no Different than We Have Ever Been” plus, a final pair, “Rebirth of an Ancient Hatred part 1 and Part 2.” The spread of anti-Semitism on the left is also taking its toll on the Democrat Party as a new breed of youth are entering the party with some previously alien ideas, one of which is the destruction of Israel or minimally the end to aid to Israel. These new younger group appear to generally have a proclivity for Louis Farrakhan and his Islamic Black separatist group Nation of Islam. The new left has molded their membership through a concept called “intersectionality,” which we also discussed in some of our articles above. Since they include a number of anti-Semitic groups such as Nation of Islam, CAIR, BLM, Muslim Students Association, Students for Justice in Palestine and numerous enough anti-Israel groups that no Jewish group is permitted into the leftist club of intersectionality unless they directly criticize Israel as being a Jewish colonial enterprise which conquered and stole the lands of the nation of Palestine either in 1948 or, if not then, definitely in 1967. As these children were not born yet, they have no context and are blithely unaware of the fact that in both of those wars, the Arabs had massed and attacked Israel with numerous Arab nations working together. The fact that Israel survived these two wars and the ensuing 1973 war and the terror wars Israel has been fighting continually since the Oslo Agreements has been a modern miracle. The little fact that there has never been any nation named Palestine and that Jerusalem has only been the capital city over Jewish or Israelite, another reference to modern Jews, is something they have never been taught in the ivory walls where the soft sciences are rather soft on facts when addressing the Middle East. The problem coming to take control of Nancy Pelosi’s and Chuck Schumer’s little group are young people with no sense of history and a slanted and definitively anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and often strongly anti-Semitic set of beliefs bringing forth that “The Democrat Party has a Religion.”

Burning Israel Star of David

All of these facts add up to a rush for safety for the Jews of the world once again. The Muslim world already held their version of what is coming to the developed world back in the late 1940’s and through the 1950’s when they dispossessed their Jews dispatching them with great grievousness with much of the world demanding that a relative sign agreements to support these Jews who were left with nothing beyond one suitcase each in many cases, if that, making them to be considered neer-do-well delinquents. This left around eight-hundred-thousand or more who came to Israel. Israel was an agrarian economy in these times and anything but ready to take in such numbers of desperate and penniless refugees. Israel, to her credit, silently set up temporary quarters and worked to acclimate these people to their new homes and in time they were all incorporated into the economy and as time went along, they became very productive members of our family. Israelis now do not make any distinction as to where one’s parents or grandparents were originally from or by which route did they arrive in Israel basically one suitcase in hand, if lucky, and the clothes on their backs. Today it is common to see a young couple with one having sandy hair and the other raven dark hair happily walking hand-in-hand. Israel has integrated the many disparate Jews who have returned home, which also includes Ethiopian and Indian Jews. Soon Israel will be receiving another present sent by much of the remainder of the world’s Jews as Europe decides that the Jews are no longer welcome. Europe will at some point need to choose between Muslims or Jews, and we bet the Muslims will win that discussion as they already vastly outnumber the Jews in Europe and have reached near parity with the actively Jewish population of the United States. When the time cones and the United States elects a President who, as it would say of Pharos in the Bible, who did not know Joseph, then it will not matter if you are a practicing Jew or even if you no longer identify as a Jew, if you had even one Jewish parent, and for this it need not have been your mother as Judaism requires, just father will suffice, and the Jews will not have a pleasant choice. They will either leave while the leaving is unhurried and they can take their wealth and belongings with them, though those items they will be forced to sell will not get full value as investors and others will know the Jews have to sell now, or they will leave when it starts to become unavoidable obvious, though even then there will be those Jews who will tell themselves, they do not mean me, they mean those Jews who dress weird, or they can leave and barely escape leaving without the time to sell anything and having to abandon homes, vehicles and other things which could not be arranged in time or they might sneak out and eventually make their way to Israel facing threats the entire route taking next to nothing with them. There are going to be a number of people who are going to claim that this part of the prediction about the United States can never happen. Allow us to inform you that there was quite a fair amount of anti-Semitism in the open as late as the 1950’s in the United States. Jews were called Christ killers and worse. That anti-Semitism will be as a picnic compared to what is coming with the likes of Tamika Mallory, Linda Sarsour, Carmen Perez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Keith Ellison. These are all under forty politicians who are either at the forefront of groups, party leaders on a state level or higher or elected officials. But with much of the youth against Israel to the point that some university campuses have reached the point where Jewish students, just like their Jewish counterparts in much of Europe, are afraid to wear anything which identifies them as being Jewish and refuse to identify openly as being Jews. The day is rapidly approaching in Europe and not all that far behind in the United States that we will see, as is pictured above, the Star of David burning in the streets as a common expression of hate towards anything as the burning Star of David will be a generally used sign of contempt even when it has absolutely nothing to do with Jews or Israel. All of these events will send numbers of Jews fearing for their lives and safety into Israel and nobody hear is talking about this eventuality. We fear Israel will not be prepared and once again will face a serious challenge. Maybe after the initial wave from Britain, France, Sweden the Netherlands or wherever it may originate, maybe that will be sufficient dose as a wake-up call and Israel will smell what is coming.

Palestinians Would Rather Have Conflict than State

The Palestinian Arab youth and the families desiring a solid future are the ones who will lose the most. Currently, if a Palestinian Arab family living in Gaza or under the Palestinian Authority (PA) wishes to relocate, perhaps near relatives in Egypt or anywhere else in the world, they are not permitted to do so. Israel would have no problem allowing their relocating and if many had their way within Israel, we would aid them by giving them money to assist with their move. The United States might even consider joining in assisting Palestinian Arabs to relocate somewhere else in the world simply to end a conflict, which legally can only be decided in Israel’s favor. The problem they face is their own leadership who has security details which prevent any of them from leaving, ever. They are literally captives of their own people who are getting sickeningly wealthy off the aid monies provided by the world while their people suffer. The real problem is going to be the future simply because the Palestinian Arab youth and most of the students who study the Middle East in college in Europe, North America and virtually everywhere else are being taught lies. This is not totally the fault of the young academics as it has been erroneously written about in texts used currently and meticulous studies done before somewhere around 1950 have been forgotten or ignored. A very good and complete study of the history of the post World War I treaties, the Mandate, particularly the British Mandate, and how the Jewish State has 78% of the British Mandate gifted to the Palestinian Arabs and the Hashemite Family who had been defeated and ejected by the Family Saud (Saudi Royal Family thus Saudi Arabia) by taking the lands east of the Jordan River and forming what is today Jordan. The British also gave the Mandate of Mesopotamia to the other Hashemite Family son, Emir Feisal who has been expelled from Syria by the French, calling the entirety Iraq and stealing every millimeter of the lands that presumably were set aside for a state of the Kurds. This and more facts, actual facts from the treaties signed and presumably implemented by the British and the French amongst the other allies and more, in the book by Dr. Aaron Klieman, Foundations of British Policy In The Arab World: The Cairo Conference of 1921 (Johns Hopkins Press, 1970).

There is an alternative by simply reading any of our articles written on this and related subjects, warning, there are a plethora, by simply locating the “search” box on the right sidebar of this site and enter with the quotation marks, “San Remo Conference” and then hit enter and many pages will become available. There are three articles per-page and by clicking on “next page” one can see the next trio. We would advise simply looking at the pictures and if they appeal to you, then read just those as after a couple of readings you will be better versed on the facts than most college professors. Part of the problem with the Middle East departments in many of the presumed best colleges is that they have been bought by donating sufficient funds and sometimes a building in order to appoint the department chair who then decides who teaches and what they teach and what texts they use. The party doing such donations is often Saudi Arabia and the Wahabbist Imams choose the professor given the position of being the chair of many of these departments. That leads to the subject of Israel being taught by an Islamic outlook under which Israel does not exist and is a blight which needs to be eradicated by any means possible. They are teaching a version of history in which the Ottoman Empire never actually replaced the Caliphate, it was just another version of the Caliphate, and were never even in World War I as they completely ignored that war and all its implications. They never quite explain how all the separate nations came from what was the Ottoman Empire or why the British, French, Italians and Russians were involved in their formations beyond they were assisting Islam because they recognized it was superior and required being served. In their view, Lebanon was always Arab and Islamic from its inception despite its mandate under the French intending it to be a Christian homeland in the Middle East and Israel simply never existed and the Jews stole it from Jordan which was giving it to the Palestinians and thus Israel is supposed to be Palestine. It is a twisted story with little truth beyond the facts that the British tried very hard to prevent the Jewish State and failed at that simply because the Jews persisted in forcing their state into existence despite the British attempts to prevent such and the United States State Department telling the Jews that their decision to found the Jewish State was unadvisable and troublesome at the time and that the United States would not assist in any way. If you remember, the Kurds took a referendum on declaring independence which passed overwhelmingly but their leadership was intimidated by the pushback they received, particularly from the United States State Department who informed them that their declaring a state at that time would be highly problematic and the United States would not be able to assist them in any way. Since their backing down, the Iraqi Army assisted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been eradicating Kurdish villages, towns and cities as they sweep slowly through the Kurdish regions killing much of the population while the United States State Department whistles in the wind ignoring the genocidal operations being committed. Just for the record, yes, President Truman went against the advice given by the Secretaries of State, Defense (War at that time) and his entire security and advisory positions and recognized the formation of Israel. What is less known is that immediately afterwards the United States imposed an arms embargo on Israel as well as the Arabs. This mattered little to the Arabs who were supplied by the British, Germany and as they had money, every arms dealer wishing to make some money while Israel, even willing to pay top price found most doors closed to selling them the time of day. There was one saving exception, Czechoslovakia.

Back to the current dilemma and the fact that a Palestinian Arab family attempting to move to restart their life in more welcoming climate are blocked from doing exactly that. Should they be found out by their government, Hamas or the PA, they will be relocated but not to another country but likely tortured and killed, and that is the men and we do not wish to even imagine what is done to the women. In this way, the Palestinian Arab governing bodies can continue to tout the large, often overstated, numbers of Arabs who are suffering because of the Jews. This is often also true in many of the refugee camps, specially the ones within the Palestinian ruled areas. Yes, there are Palestinian Arab refugee camps inside the Palestinian Arab controlled regions including Gaza where Israel has released any claim and it is ruled by Hamas and could almost be considered a nation if it were not run as a terrorist camp. So, rather than allow Palestinian Arabs to move to another country and begin a new life, their governing Arab rulers send security or, more accurately, enforcers, to their homes and if they are fortunate, they actually are permitted to continue to live and are not strung up publically as a warning to others not to even think of leaving. Of course, this is the best-kept secret as the media is only able to support the Palestinian leadership who can do no harm. If it is not Israel responsible directly or by the longest stretching of reality, then it never happened and the media refuses to cover such news. Add to this that the youth are being taught a history of their right to all the lands from the River to the Sea replacing Israel because Israel stole their country. According to what they are taught, Israel invaded Palestine and stole their lands and this is how the Jews will take over the world. They are then given lessons from a book of bad repute, Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a Czarist manuscript used to instigate the pogroms against the Russian Jews and discredited in much of the world, but for the Palestinian and many Arab and Muslims, this is a textbook. Much of the old Nazi pamphlets and symbols used to demonize the Jews have been modified and reused by the Palestinian and other Arabs (see images below). Equally interesting are the maps used to teach geography whose illustrations are further down the page. These are the textbooks which are paid for by the United Nations, European Union, numerous European nations, Canada, the United States and others and have been “inspected” for content and claimed to be completely forthcoming, truthful and without any propaganda or anti-Israel slant.

Palestinian Textbook Maps depicting Palestine as replacing Israel, not sharing the land in peace and security as the Europeans and the rest of the West insist to misrepresent

The reality is that Israel has rightful claim to every piece of land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea by treaty and International Law. A multi-billion and possibly trillion Euro and dollar effort has been invested in altering that reality and making the new truth to be that Israel invaded Palestine and conquered it in the 1948 Arab initiated war which attempted to destroy Israel the morning of her birth. How the Jews conquered Palestine, from where the Jews conquered Palestine and even who ruled Palestine and what was its currency is totally irrelevant, or so it is claimed. The fact is the land belongs to the Arabs and the Jews can remain and live under Arab rule for as long as the Arabs are willing to tolerate their presence. The latest offer is for there to be a one state solution and elections held to choose a ruler of this democratic state. The state is to be made up of Gaza, Israel, Palestinian Authority ruled regions, Jordan and the refugees and there will be at least one election and after that, it will be decided what is necessary. We expect this proposal to be met with some skepticism but eventually generally agreed upon except this time Israel will have an ally, King Abdullah II of Jordan who also would not want an election as he would be toppled and he knows this. King Abdullah II will resist even President Trump attempting to include him in any peace plan such as the Deal of the Century. There can be only one solution which would satisfy Israeli security and benefit the Palestinian Arabs, and that is for Israel and the nations currently supporting this farce known as the Palestinian Arab state of Palestine to grant any Palestinian Arab desiring relocating outside of Israel with sufficient money to make a decent start anywhere in the world and for those who desire remaining within Israel, they will be granted legal resident alien status and as long as they live peaceably and within the laws of the State of Israel, then they will enjoy equal benefits economically and socially but not politically. The legal treaties all explicitly state that Israel must allow economic freedom, religious freedom, freedom to reside where one pleases legally, freedom of employment and everything else one may imagine with a single caveat, Israel does not have to grant political equality. Israel has shown willingness to allow Arabs to vote in local elections but other than the current non-Jewish Arabs residing with Israeli citizenship whose families have been Israelis since the beginning who have the right to vote in all elections, the new resident alien Palestinian Arabs will not have the privilege of voting in national elections. This is exactly the same rule for resident aliens in every other nation, which often does not matter when it comes to Israel for reasons which are never quite explained beyond the, “Well, you know.” The only other solution which would come about eventually is the Palestinian Arab population under their PA and/or Hamas leadership will attempt to destroy Israel through a war of terror which will become simply a war and they will be forced from the land or worse. This also will be the final result with the Wars in Lebanon instigated by Hezballah under Iranian directions. At some point in the not all that distant future, Israel will have the Jordan River as her eastern border, the Wadi of Egypt (not the Nile) or current border which is quite close, to the south, the Mediterranean Sea to the west, the Golan Heights to the northeast including Mount Herman, and the Litani River to the north as that will become the border once Hezballah has been defeated providing Israel with defendable borders on all fronts. This will be in a future after there have been numerous difficult years throughout the world and many will call it the Messianic Era.

The initiating events which will bring this final resolution will be a surprise to most and many will claim such will never come about, but be assured this initial requirement is not as far into the future as even far too many Israelis believe, this first step will be the United States turning against Israel. There may even come a point where being a Jew or a Christian supporter of Israel will make one unacceptable to the governing forces within the United States. Europe will have gone even further than their present position in what has been called Old Europe, the former NATO and other non-Warsaw Pact nations of Europe, will become fiercely anti-Israel and most if not all of their Jews will have fled to Israel having no other place which would accept them. Russia will further cement her position as the supporter of the Arab and Muslim world, which will come back to haunt her in the future, pulling out all support or even conveniences with Israel as currently exist on the Syrian front. Iran will have not only expanded her nuclear stockpile of weapons but have reached near parity with the United States, though relations will be closer between the two nations even stronger than as under President Obama. The Korean Peninsula will have been united, as will have the two Chinese states. The main question will be as to whether the United States had a struggle resulting in her breaking into anywhere from three to six separate nations with one definitely supporting Israel and located in much of the region which made up the Louisiana Purchase. This region might even be split into two separate areas or even three with the major cities along the Mississippi River holding to that waterway and having amiable relations with the surrounding regions for obvious reasons. The east and west coasts of the United States would be two separate, if not more, nations with close ties and very similar beliefs and governmental powers. This is not far fetched as it may seem as a Soviet Academic has made claims about exactly such a situation. But not all of this is going to happen in the near term, though with a Trump reelection in 2020, who knows?

Louisiana Purchase

Louisiana Purchase

The problem between the Palestinian Arabs and Israel will also not be solved during this first term of President Trump as probably they know that all they need do is wait and a new American President is just a few years away, be that two or six. The Palestinian Arab leadership plays the long game and believes that they can out-determine the Jews, as they have put it, the Jews will run in time just as did the Romans, the Greeks, the Persians, the Crusaders and the British, as they are a desert people and have infinite patience. Really! Islam is a little over 1400 years old and the Arabs left their peninsula just after Muhammad died and they are going to outwait the Jews who have been waiting to return to their ancestral homelands for close to 2200 years and are also a desert people. Who has shown the greater patience as we have out-waited every one of those empires and more and seen empires they have never heard of and almost every empire which has mistreated we the Jews has fallen into the dustbin of history, so perhaps you should reconsider. If this is a waiting game, fine, we will wait right here.

John Bolton and His Possible First Assignment

Numbers of friends asked when John Bolton was chosen to be National Security Adviser to President Trump why was he chosen for this position. The first thing I informed them was that President Trump desired to have Bolton onboard to take care of specific situations and problems but knew there would be heavy push back if he required being confirmed by the Senate. If you believe that the Kavanaugh situation turned ugly, had John Bolton required confirmation, the Senate obstructionists and opposition to President Trump would have had a field day and do not even ask about the games the media would have played. For an introduction, read about his being appointed by President George W. Bush as Ambassador to the United Nations for a taste of the pushback. This was why he had to be appointed as the National Security Adviser simply because the position does not require Senate advise and consent hearings, or should we call them quarrelsome brouhaha. They found this informative but re-asked their question and added a, ‘why him’ to their query. Well, that I can answer with a single word, Israel. The Arab Israel Conflict resolution has become more than President Trump had bargained for and he decided it was time to call in a weapon of mass destruction, John Bolton. John Bolton has been added to the teams attempting to pry some agreement out of the Middle East which has hit snag after snag and apparently stymied the current members of the conflict resolution team. So, introducing John Bolton, a bombastic and extremely determined individual who is willing to bulldoze through all obstructions, blowing them from his path, and who has no problem imposing his will on even the most recalcitrant of individuals. John Bolton has been assigned to find the people willing to make an agreement, find some way of tying such an agreement together, implementing this agreement and then making it stick against all adversarial efforts which will assuredly be forthcoming, potentially in groups or potentially swarms. This is the job for which John Bolton has been hired.

National Security Adviser to President Trump John Bolton

National Security Adviser to President Trump John Bolton

Where is our proof that John Bolton was chosen as National Security Adviser simply to address the entire Arab Israeli conflict? Well, there was this report about the Trump-North Korea Summit which stated, “President Donald Trump’s Singapore summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was full of showmanship, featuring photo-ops, a long press conference, and one very unusual promotional video. But one player in the scene was surprisingly quiet: John Bolton, Trump’s national-security adviser.” Then additionally there have been his remarks of late. John Bolton attacked Iran calling them “the world’s central banker of international terrorism since 1979.” Addressing ramification of the threats by the Palestinian Authority (PA) to possibly incur the International Court of Justice in settling diplomatic disputes, he stated, “the so-called state of Palestine” challenging the move of the US embassy to Jerusalem at the international court, stating bluntly that “Palestine” is not a state. There was his commentary on Russia’s decision to provide Syria with advanced S-300 air defense systems is a “major mistake.” Have you noticed any common denominator in his commentary? All his remarks one could claim were made by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu instead of the United States National Security Adviser. The question is how it is thought that John Bolton, the one man with a distinctively favorable track record concerning Israel, will in any way find a better way for solving the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Would not the presence of John Bolton polarize and harden the Arabs in their positions?

Well, that brings on a simple answer. Could he actually make anything worse than the Khartoum Resolution and the Three No’s, “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” Somehow, the Three No’s is a definitive statement which rules out any possible solution which would involve any of the members of the Arab League. Meanwhile, as we have reported on numerous occasions, Mahmoud Abbas, just as had Yasser Arafat before him, has a simple answer to any offer which meets every single of his demands, he walks away without any counteroffer and then refuses to negotiate and launches a terrorist offensive within the following three to four months claiming they are grassroots uprisings to protest the Israeli rejectionism at the previous negotiations. This is always picked up exactly as described by Abbas in the European media and the leftist media in the United States, Canada and the remainder of the Western World. Always, the reason given for ending any negotiations has been laid at the feet of Israel despite any reality proving otherwise. Yasser Arafat walked out in Paris, Mahmoud Abbas has simply refused to meet at all and explanations invariable blame Israel claiming Israel has not sacrificed or granted sufficient demands from the PA to make further negotiations even remotely advantageous. We would only be able to wonder and dream in order to find a single concession which the PA has ever granted Israel. If we could simply just be presented with a provable concession which has been made and followed through upon and not simply retracted as soon as they walked away from the negotiations, then there could be progress. We have been unable to find any such event.

We do remember the recounting by President William Jefferson Clinton of how after pressuring Yasser Arafat in Paris during the Camp David Accords negotiations and getting an exact description of his minimal acceptable agreement if only the Israelis truly desire peace. President Clinton tells that he then expected he would be required to exhort, cajole, urged and finally insist with it all in the hopes to have Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak meet Arafat’s demands. Well, Prime Minister Barak was said to have thought and with the slightest coaxing, he agreed to the demands for the minimum Arafat required for him to sign a peace agreement. The next morning, Yasser Arafat simply stalked across the room striding purposefully straight out the front door with Secretary of State Madeline Albright chasing after him unable to catch Arafat before he reached his waiting vehicle and headed to the airport and flew back to Jordan. That was the closest anybody may have come to finding the unfindable agreement. The simple truth is that there is but one thing the Arabs will accept, the complete destruction of Israel or turning it over to them to rule, either way, placing the Jews under the care, protection and wills of their Islamic betters. They state that as Dhimmis, the Jews will be treated with the extents of the Quran which makes Dhimmis a protected people as long as they pay a tax called the Jiyza. What is left out is that the Jiyza can rise to any level, even to a point of demanding the turning over of all property and wealth. Then the next time the tax comes due, there will be no means left to pay any expected amount at which time the protections can disappear. That is the least of the restrictions which are troublesome from the Quran’s treatment of Dhimmis such that they have no legal recourse in the courts and there is no protection against forced conversions or forced marriage of your children and even convert or death choice.

So, with the reality that Mahmoud Abbas, Jordanian King Abdallah and Egyptian President Sisi will all refuse any agreement with Israel where the Jews are permitted to have rights to govern themselves, then how can John Bolton possibly make any progress where none has ever existed? Well, there is the fact that his reputation as a rather blunt and forceful individual who is extremely opinionated who is difficult to deal with, but why should that change anything? Well, another thing about John Bolton is that since he is not the President nor an actual Cabinet Secretary and merely an adviser, he will have the latitude to do offers which are beyond things that say the Secretary of State could broach without actually obligating the United States or the President. This may permit Mr. Bolton to inspect other alternatives which a President, Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense would cause far too much talk and media reporting making actually working such a deal to its conclusion. Such a deal might be done by going around King Abdullah and instead backing the Jordanian Opposition Council led by Mudar Zahran, somebody who could meet with John Bolton outside some international event away from the media and avoiding any undesired attention. The Jordanian Opposition Council is led by Mudar Zahran and desires to make peace with Israel and turn the rule of Jordan to the Palestinians who represent a sizable majority of the Jordanian population. There have been suggestions where the King of Jordan will still rule over Jordan which will be minimized into the areas where the Bedouin and other non-Palestinian tribes in the eastern sector while the Palestinians will be given rule of the remainder of Jordan renamed Palestine.

The Arabs from the Shomron would be enticed to move into this new nation and those remaining in PA regions would be granted Palestinian citizenship and Israel would be returned the entirety of the Shomron. This would require some extreme assistance from the United States as certain powers from the Jordanian areas remade into Palestine would need to be removed before they could overthrow whatever governance is put in place. Assuming that Mudar Zahran and his Jordanian Opposition Council are backed and placed into Palestine with King Abdullah simply instructed that should he attempt to retake the remainder of what had been his nation that he would face very stiff and possibly deadly resistance as the United States is backing new governance. The Muslim Brotherhood would be the first group to be removed from the new nation. Any other known terrorist operatives would require neutralizing. Finally, once Palestine has been pacified, much as Germany was de-Nazified after World War II, then new elections, which should be carefully operated by the United States and overseen by respected and trusted international observers, need to be held to elect new and representative governance. The peace which would be reached between Israel and this new Palestine would also require being overseen and enforced by international interests, defined as the United States as most others would be considered as being compromised. The unfortunate and most shaky part of this arrangement is that for it to actually be capable of lasting, it will require the United States to make an investment militarily, socially, economically and in other capabilities which may not be evident initially as the situation would most definitely require nurturing. The difficulty with this idea is whether Mudar Zahran and his Jordanian Opposition Council are actually seeking peace or simply attempting to use peace with Israel as a lever to gain power followed by their never releasing power forming a dictatorship which could then turn against Israel. This potential eventuality is why the conversion process from potential terror state to modern economic state will require being walked through the transformation and protected from backtracking. This could be the small crack in the Islamic World through which a different passage can be opened leading to progress in bringing the Arab world forward to modern economic success. The incoming King of Saudi Arabia has made indication he would like to open such a path for his nation. Adding Jordan to the north along with Saudi Arabia passing into the modern economic world could complete the apparent path the world appears to be rolling along. Such a change in direction for the Arab and Islamic world would, if accomplished, be the greatest product of President Trump. The only problem is what would happen with following administrations, would they continue to support such an effort or simply destroy all this progress just to spite the memory of the time President Trump held the White House. The destruction and shutting down of the operations required in the name of erasing Trump’s legacy while saving funds could result in the end of modernizing the lives of the many Arabs currently living in an age removed from the developed world, a world where their own leadership currently reside. There is hope that progress could come and lift many in the Arab world from tribalism and poverty into the modern world with all the benefits and progress. This hope might just be the reason for John Bolton as his actions are often reported as being illogical, unhelpful and anything but to what people should pay any attention. Thus, his visiting some obscure individuals in London or outside the Davos meetings would be minimalized by the media, something simply perfect for Bolton to actually operate below the radar and by the time he is found out, it might just be too late to change what will result.
