“Not My President” Stance Explained

 

We have all seen the posters by now, as we have had almost a full year of active demonstrations against the election of Donald Trump to the Presidency. We thought the time had come to try and explain what we have observed and the ruminations we have had over the broad spectrum of the “Not My President” movement and rallies, the “Revolution” as some have referred to these protests and oppositions to the President. The very first thing we have observed has been the majority of the mainstream media and the coverage. The “Not My President” rallies and proponents have been far more graciously received and have been given benefits and less critical oppositions than were those who opposed President Obama. Many will point to the “facts” that the anti-Obama people were racists with no real proof or actual accusations which withstood the investigative media while the investigative media has backed and verified every single accusation against President Trump. We would like to add one small observation, namely that the criticisms of President Trump have by and large been character assassinations with varying degrees of validity and the closest charge against the actual electing of President Trump has been the claim that he lost the popular vote by three-million plus votes.

 

That may be true but it is not valid as he won the Electoral College vote and that is what the Constitution states elects the President and as far as the Electoral College not representing accurately the popular vote, that is a problem which must be remedied state by state one at a time. The Constitution simply states that the Electoral College will give each state one elector for each house seat plus two, one for each Senator and that the District of Columbia gets three electors and that each state and the District of Columbia may designate any method they deem proper for selecting their electors. This permits the winner take all, state legislatures choosing electors, each district electing an elector with the two remaining going to the winner of the state or the candidate with the majority or minority of electors, whatever they decide is fair. As the Federal Government is precluded from selecting the method and it is assigned the states, the states individually must decide and that is where that fight must be fought. President Trump won the election fair and square, by the book, under the rules known ahead of time and just because California voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton, that does not mean she should have won and may be part of why she lost, she won three or four states overwhelmingly but lost around a dozen states by a slim margin by comparison, and that is why Trump is President and Clinton is not. Now people can accuse the President of any of a multitude of character faults and flaws, that does not mean he cannot be President. Once he was sworn in the only means of removing him were wait for 2020 or impeachment with a guilty verdict from the Senate. The second option will remain unlikely unless something drastically changes even should the Democrats take the Senate as it takes more than a simple majority of the Senate for a guilty verdict. The other question for the “Not My President” crowd would be, who exactly do you believe would become President should Trump be removed? If you believe it would be Hillary Clinton, then you are horribly mistaken. The next in line would be Vice President Pence and on down the Line of Succession should Pence be removed before the Senate approved his choice for a new Vice President. If you research the Line of Succession, you will not find Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders or any other top Democrat and the first non-Republican is General Mattis, an Independent. Those are the hard factual truths.

 

Not My President Protests

 

The other thing we have noticed is while the people opposing President Obama were willing to work to reach agreements where such were possible such as in budgetary matters and numerous foreign policy points, the “Not My President” crowd demands that everything be opposed unless complete surrender to their ideas is accomplished. There can be no compromise or meeting the other side part way, it is their way or no way. This is not politics but the start of fascism as this has been the stand at the beginning of every fascist movement be they straight fascists or Communist, their first step is the closure of debate and a strict demand that their politics must be the only politics permitted to pass through the legislature and administrative branches of the government and if they hold power or even sufficient strength to prevent other ideas, then they will demand their people representing them stand as one against all other ideas. Thus far, this has been exactly how the Congress has been progressing. As there are a number of “Never Trump” Republicans willing to stand with the Democrats, and a few more Republicans, who more often than not stand with the Democrats and have chosen to join the “Never Trump” Republicans or some joined the “Not My President” Democrats, nothing is being accomplished.

 

Oh, perhaps we should give mention to the fact that the Democrat Party, especially in the Senate, had stood as a single entity with every member of the Party voting exactly as the Party leadership instructs them to vote. This is quite impressive as the Republicans only managed such unity against one piece of legislation during President Obama and his eight years in office, and that was his Patient Care and Affordable Healthcare Legislation, also called Obamacare. That passed with no Republican support, and was pushed through without allowing for debate or editing exactly as it was received from the White House. Some have pointed out that the legislation as it came from the White House had not followed through on all the concepts and was intended as a work in progress, not a final act and was roughed out for the Congress to write the minutia, something which was never accomplished and thus why many areas required clarification from the White House which was highly irregular and some points were technically illegal. Despite these modifications from the White House being factually illegal, they would never have cleared the Congress and the passed legislation did not give actual means for accomplishing many provisions in the legislation; there had to be operational and substantive modifications if Obamacare was to be usable. We are not realizing that even with these adaptive alterations that plan is failing and doing so very quickly as more and more items are discovered which have no means of being accomplished making the entirety unworkable as a result.

 

There will be nothing like that passing under President Trump as so far nothing is passing under President Trump. The only effect President Trump had managed, despite holding a Party advantage in both houses of Congress, has been to counter many of President Obama’s executive actions which President Trump has been methodically overwriting or simply making them void through cancellation. That has worked some miracles according to numerous leaders in manufacturing and may have saved the United States coal industry, for better or worse. Another area President Trump has afforded change have been at the Environmental Protection Agency and other regulatory Agencies where his directives have driven big government types insane of which the most obvious has been the requirement that for every new regulations written, two older regulations must be scrapped permanently. This has been intended to accomplish two objectives, clearing the rolls of obsolete and useless unworkable regulations and to lighten the burdensome tasks of following every regulation even including contradictory regulations where one is damned of they do and damned if they don’t. Talk of a no win situation, imagine being required to perform a task for the EPA which was forbidden by the BLM, which one do you please and which one do you risk alienation? Tough choice, isn’t it? So President Trump is having some effect in the tangled webs of regulation by cutting away many of the strands trying to clear a walkway where business can operate outside of government meddling. That would produce millions and allow for more start-ups and possibly allow the United States to retake the per-capita lead in start-up companies, a title currently held by Israel we believe. We understand that many people are anti-Trump simply because he is pro-business. We hope we can explain how being pro-business is also being pro-individual and pro-tax reduction.

 

Many people believe that corporations and businesses pay taxes. That is an incorrect assumption, as businesses do not pay taxes; they collect revenue at a cost for the government. Only people pay taxes and the only things which alters is in which way the people are made to pay taxes and for the costs of collecting these taxes. President Trump realizes that only people pay taxes, the tax on any producer, manufacturer, retailer, store, Mom & Pop storefront, major corporation or anything in between results on two things, higher process and loss of efficiency. At the very least, the purchaser will pay the tax, as whatever the seller must pay in tax will be added to the cost to the public. In most instances, whatever the total cost, including any taxes, is put through a cost formula which determines the final price thus whatever their markup on the base price is often also used on the taxes paid thus the tax actually leads to a greater profit in most cases. Stated simply, the taxes paid at any point in the process bringing any product to the public is passed along that line to the end product or service provided the public. That means only the public pays any and all taxes in the end result. This means that by lowering taxes on producers, corporations, companies, retailers and any other form of seller, the people will benefit and a general tax break is best possible means for lowering prices for the public. Tax breaks for the corporate sphere is actually a tax break for the people. This simple formula is refused by leftists, as they honestly believe that any tax placed on corporations is paid solely by those corporations and the price increase caused by any tax is not added to the price of the final product. That is Pollyannish thinking. No part of adding to the cost of a product will inevitably not add to the cost of the end product. This is part of why the price of the same item at the new, high price mall is more than the price of the same item bought at an older store in the low cost areas of downtown providing the taxes are equivalent. Further, the price of that same item is even lower way out in the country where there are lower taxes. That is simple economics.

 

The Democrats in Congress have decided that tax cuts for corporations, manufacturers and other businesses is simply giving tax cuts to the wealthy because ever business owner is, according to the Democrats, a multimillionaire and not in need of any tax reduction as they can afford to pay the extra taxes. This ignores the inconvenient fact that any taxes they pay is passed on to their customers who may or may not be millionaires. When asked if the people who buy these businesses’ products could use a tax break, the democrat response is that the best way to do this would be to increase the tax return given to people who do not pay any taxes to begin with. They demand that the federal earned income tax credit or earned income credit (EITC or EIC) be increased while taxes on businesses and people earning over $60,000 for individuals and $75,000 for couples should be increased as they are wealthy and can afford to pay more. To translate this to plain and simply English, those paying taxes should be made to pay more and those who do not pay taxes need a greater tax return. This is the Democrats means of increasing welfare payments through other means and finding their path to the perfect society where everyone is made even in wealth with one small exception, themselves. This is made simple by their exempting themselves and their selected sides and advisors from being charged with insider trading when it comes to stocks and other investments. This is the reason most in Congress enter office of moderate wealth and leave office a decade later as multi-millionaires and set-up for life. This is another way in which those who represent the public are not forced to play by the same rules as those who elected them. Why should we be surprised by such news, they have their own healthcare plans, play by their own rules in the stock market, have different rules when investing in the commodities exchanges, and exempt from parking and moving violations when driving if going to a vote or any other business, meetings or appearances. Their lives are made legally exempt from the rules you and we must live under. No wonder they lose the ability to identify with the lives of us normal people, no wonder.

Forget Calls by Left to Meet Halfway

 

All too often, there is this game played by the leftists and the media against the right and the people. This game follows the same old route every time but somehow it almost always claims it has worked. The affair starts with calls by leftist leaders calling for peace and an end to the bitter atmosphere between the Left and the Right. The media jumps on this olive branch being offered all but demanding understanding and a meeting in the middle by the political rivals. The invitation continues to hang and the media pounds the message home at every opportunity. Eventually, the leadership from the right weakens and it starts to look as if there will be a meeting in the middle. That is when the slide begins where the left ever so faster move their positions further left and further left until meeting in the middle becomes meeting in the left rather than the middle, as advertised. Currently, there is no call from the left in the United States for a meeting between the left and the right but if the left can ever calm down and accept their loss by Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump, then possibly the two sides can talk. What is interesting, the left in the United States is increasingly moving to the left without having requested or even hinted at any hope of working together with their rivals on the right. Instead, the left is demanding that they be permitted to call the agenda because it is their fair and proper place in the way of things. They claim it is their right and that despite losing the election, they have the moral right and responsibility to continue the programs and initiatives which are the only proper and true path which the nation must go. They are convinced along with the legions who claim that Hillary Clinton did win the elections except for interference from the Russians, James Comey, the FBI, Wikileaks, sexism, working class refuse to believe a woman can be President and lack of support from the Democrat Party itself, that all the power rightfully should lie with them. So, because she won except for cheating by the world and everyone being against her, it gives the leftists the right to dictate policy as if they held both houses of Congress and the White House because if the world was the way it should be, that would be the reality.

 

I Lost? Impossible! Trump won? Impossible! He won what states? Impossible!
You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

 

Oh, so you doubt that. Have you read my Facebook page and all the leftists telling me how the world demands that they be granted the right to rule everything? I see it every day and it is truly amazing. Now there are rumors that those behind the demonstrations and racket about Hillary winning the election are arranging for grand demonstrations across the nation in every major city. One has to wonder what they believe all their racket and screaming and protesting and just plain noise, the same type interference one used to see when they fell asleep watching television and the station had gone off the air and you just had white noise meaning nothing, will accomplish. I actually know what some of them believe they will be capable of actually accomplishing, they believe they will end up driving President Trump from office and also drive Pence, Ryan and the rest of the Republicans from office and take over permanently and control the United States without any opposition. They believe they can override the Constitution and rewrite the rules declaring themselves as permanent rulers. They honestly believe that the Republicans are fascists and thus must be driven from all the halls of power allowing themselves to be running the show with absolute power forever. They believe they should be permitted to send anyone who opposes their rule and what they wish to install to places where they can be educated to believe the correct ideas and join the program and get onboard. They see themselves as the real heart of the people and the proper ways of the world as it should be and, by gosh golly, it will be. They will not be happy until they are placed in charge and everybody is brought to understand how their ways and ideas are the only true and proper way and the United States will be brought to understand this no matter what it takes. Oh, and they are most definitely not fascists or dictatorial in any way, they are the popular and rightful leaders of the nation because Hillary Clinton received the popular vote, and that ends it.

 

Then there are those who believe that the Constitution was written the way it was for some very good and real reasons and the Electoral College is what actually chooses the President, not the popular vote. Most understand that the Electoral College was designed so that every state had a more equal representation no matter its size or population. Without this, the United States would become represented by the major cities and the rural vote and states would never have much of a say except for in the Senate. Imagine the nation if it was run completely from the top cities by population listed below.

Bridging the Right-Left gap is folly in the extreme. The left does not desire any compromises any longer. They simply desire one thing, complete control and nothing less. This game has been played before and those who know history understand what has started. It starts with claims of stolen elections or crimes against the state by government agents and other claims of unfair treatment or being cheated from their rightful positions of power, as long as the eventual end result is their having unrestricted and uncontested power. They use protests leading to riots and unrest and eventually the government will try and establish order which will fail. The more the government attempts to establish order the more the leftists will raise a ruckus. Eventually, there will be a savior who offers to end the unrest. They may come disguised as somebody from the right or perhaps honestly from the left but always promising to reestablish order. Once the left retakes power it is over and the leaders of the protests and violence call off their attacks. There will be those who have learned to love the violence and will continue, feel very sorry for those few remaining rioters and disruptors, as they cannot be tolerated once the left takes their presumed rightful place. They were given a name by Joseph Stalin, useful idiots. They are more of a bunch of sacrificial lambs who must be offered up for the sake of power. Power is the only thing what matters, always has been and always will be.

 

The one thing people need remember, liberals and left-wingers are not leftists. Leftists are the fanatical fringe whose ideology is less important than having and holding power. Once they have power, then things can progress peaceably. They thought they had gained power permanently after President Obama was reelected. They ignored their losing election after election in state after state. They believed that Hillary Clinton had to win simply because they had the winning idea, the first woman President. This had to work just as they used the idea of the first black President and President Obama rode that to two elections. They just knew that Hillary would win the next two elections and after eight more years, there would be nothing left of the Republican Party and the leftists would rule forever. Hillary would implement the remainder of their programs just as President Obama had done regardless of the Congress. President Hillary Clinton would simply issue Executive Orders to establish things and they would have the many separate government bureaucracies simply enact new regulations to complete their coup and that would be the end of the republic and end the need for elections. This was going to be their swan-song which was going to establish their Utopian and eternal governance. Something went wrong with the plan. The people of the United States had to have made an unforgivable mistake. They could not have elected somebody as abhorrent and detestable as Donald Trump. They had gotten their perfect Republican candidate, a non-politician who was not liked and immoral. The religious right would not be able to vote for such a person and without them, then Hillary would waltz into the White House. Now that this has happened and the plan is unraveling with President Trump ready to undo everything they had accomplished, the leftists cannot let this stand. This was it and now it has all gone awry. This was it and they are willing to destroy it all if that is what it takes to win and establish their utopia. Of course, their utopia is for the select few, but don’t tell the useful idiots that they are not included, they will not believe you. They are the true believers and will believe that even their sacrifice will have been for the cause and that is just as it should be. They might wake up some day, but not today or any day too soon. If they wake up it will be too late for them but maybe they can teach those who follow what freedom was and that it is worth fighting to regain. But the reality is, should freedom be lost now it will not come back ever for this generation and is unlikely for the next generation but if the generation after that can make it, that would be the start of the cycle again.

If Only We Had President Hillary, Just Imagine

 

Think about it, just for a moment. Try and imagine how quiet the world would be. Imagine Facebook full of kitten and puppy videos and situational bloopers from some unfortunate’s life caught by cellphone, no calls for impeachment, no screaming day and night, a President who is being Presidential, professionally run signing ceremonies, a President working in the White House and no trips to Mar-A-Lago every weekend, the world at peace and everything nice and quiet with all wonderful reports in the media, well, except for those malcontents at Fox News. That is what we would have if only we had President Hillary Clinton who won the popular vote, did we mention she won the popular vote? Instead of the unprofessional circus being presented by team Trump we would have professionals appointed to the Cabinet and a real progressive and rationally tempered and modernistic viewing judge instead of this anachronistic Judge Gorsuch all tied up in originalist interpretations making decisions pretending he’s with John Adams in a powdered wig. We would have a polished, modern, professional administration and the media would be in step and the United States would appear to be functioning smoothly just as it had for the eight years under President Barack Hussein Obama. That would be so great to have the United States going along with all the European nations in sync with the plans and no threatening our friends and demanding they spend their monies as we demand of them. The government spending our taxes as we wish funding those so proper and feel-good projects such as Planned Parenthood, Meals on Wheels and the rest of the progressive collection. Wouldn’t that be wonderful not having all those ugly demonstrations because with President Hillary Clinton who would want to protest and those who might have better things to do such as earn and pay taxes so we can do all those wonderful things which are not getting done under President Trump.

 

There are many who would cheer making the above the new reality claiming that things really would be so much greater if only… The Trumpettes would have heart failure just thinking about a President Hillary. There is a difference though, with a President Hillary Clinton there is one truth, there would not be demonstrations because the Trump supporters would have accepted that the election went the other way and would have returned back to their lives working and waiting for the next election hoping to find a new candidate to carry the message. That is what happened after Senator McCain lost, that is what happened after Senator and Governor Romney. That is what would have happened had Trump lost. The one thing the Republicans and conservatives have learned to be very good at is accepting losses. The Democrats and especially the progressives and the leftists, refuse to accept losses and revolt at any reality that they dislike. They rise into the streets, well, not all, but enough of these types revolt at not getting their way. Some will run and repeat every rumor of a crack in the Trump Administration. Many have jobs and are not all that different from their conservative counterparts. They continue their lives after every election and go home to their families and continue soldiering on. But there are legions whose jobs are agitation, demonstration, disturbance, turmoil, upheaval and whatever it takes to force their revolution and agenda with no regards for anyone else. They are backed, backed, and backed even deeper by organization and funding. Many of these disruptors who were marching on Washington D.C. and numerous other left leaning, liberal major cities are not part of any organizations but are the numbers who show for the correct causes, the correct candidates, the correct reasons and for anything labeled the correct. Then there are those who organize, the community organizers just like President Obama where he started, the ones who seed the crowds with their specialists who scream the right words to start a chant, start the screaming yelling down some right winger so nobody can hear anything they have to say, start the crowd moving in the needed direction, the ignition point for executing the necessary plans. Then there are the real agitators who initiate violence when instructed to do so and then duck before the arrests are made as you cannot agitate if you are not there.

 

There are organizations high and low and everything between which work for the same ends though their methods are at times diametrically opposites. As there are some who are revolted by violence of any sort and others who live by the principle that eggs must be broken when making an omelet and are determined to make their omelet regardless of any consequences. Some are gentle and kind while others rough and some are brilliant while others are mindless followers. The one binding cement holding these disparate groups together is their thirst for what they believe is correct and true and that is their place in the halls of power. The majority of liberals accepted their loss in the last Presidential election. The ones running wild in the streets and on campuses across the United States demanding their rightful place simply because their cause is right and their demands are just and it is their right to be in power and to rule justly, rightly and instill their world whether the people desire their causes or not. Anything other than those ideals they pledge to have any say in making the decisions of the government is an anathema which they find completely unacceptable. In their world there is only one reality and it must match their beliefs and grant them everything they believe should be and anything which does not support their reality needs to be changed, corrected. The demonstrations witnessed after the elections and into the New Year through the Inauguration and through most of February finally petering out with small demonstrations reaching into March but the mass demonstrations have ended.

 

There is still a great demonstration continuing on Facebook and the rest of the social media. The fires of rage and the determined undermining of the President Trump, his administration and the Republican control of the two houses of Congress are still being stoked and standing in the ready. Many have a deep hatred of President Trump for his having the audacity to have stolen the Presidency from Hillary Clinton as it was her right to ascend to the Oval Office and continue the Obama policies and the cementing of the progressive agenda. After all, that was the natural order of things as far as every leftist, progressive, liberal and Democrat believed. The demographics depicted a nation where no Republican would ever again climb into the White House except to take the tour. The maps all depicted a red-blue divide which would elevate Hillary Clinton into the White House without a second thought. The vote was a matter of formality and it was only to be necessary to take the ballets and counting was not even to be necessary. But the law required counting. The media was all ready to attend Hillary Clinton’s coronation and the popular count made that all the more expected. But something was amiss and somehow Donald Trump, a real estate magnet who was nowhere near as successful as he claimed and a neophyte as a politician. This joke of a Republican candidate for President should not be taken seriously yet was gaining the electoral votes from states which were Hillary’s. What was happening? The world must have been spinning out of its natural orbit. The universe was experiencing some dark mystery which was beyond description and states like Pennsylvania and Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin were going to Donald Trump, even Florida and that did it, he trounced the unopposable woman and became the next President. This rocked their world even more because the media had spent the entire two previous years talking about how Hillary Clinton was a lock to win the Presidency.

 

The media did waver in the last few weeks showing Donald Trump climbing slowly but inexorably gaining until a few days before the election when he and Hillary Clinton appeared tied. Impossible as it may have seemed, the election became a contest but surely Hillary Clinton still held the keys to the Electoral College even if Trump managed to win the popular vote. Before Election Day we heard from the leftists, progressives, liberals and Democrats how the popular vote was meaningless and Trump could win all the votes he wanted, the Electoral College would decide the election and surely Hillary had that all locked up. Well, not exactly as it turned out to be the opposite was true. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by a safe margin but Donald Trump won the Electoral College handily. Suddenly the message from the Hillary supporters were screaming that the Electoral College was a backwards and outdated idea which was denying the real winner of the election, Hillary Clinton, who took the popular vote by a fairly sizeable margin from her deserved office. They totally switched their tune as soon as the music conflicted with the facts and their new tune now swirled around the exact opposite of the one from the day before and they were demanding that what they wished for the Republicans now be the reality as it now favored their candidate. All of a sudden there were comparisons between California and Wyoming claiming that Wyoming was unfairly represented. If it had happened in the opposite and Trump received the popular vote but Hillary won the election would arguments comparing Texas to Washington D.C. claiming Washington D.C. was unfairly represented have been acceptable? Honestly, no, it would have been seen as a sour grapes argument and laughed at and ridiculed on social media, but the California against Wyoming comparison is given the respect of being amongst one of the smartest and most respected arguments possible all but revered by the Hillary Clinton supporters.

 

So, what is coming in the future? The initial move challenging the vote and demanding recounts came immediately after the election and quickly failed. Then came the more long term plan of mounting a series of investigations until one can be rallied around and bring about the impeachment of President Donald Trump. But as we have pointed out previously, this would not accomplish the desired goal of placing Hillary Clinton or any other leftist, progressive, liberal or Democrat into the Presidency. There have been those who have described also impeaching Mike Pence and then Paul Ryan but even this would fail to place any leftists, progressives, liberals and Democrats into the Oval Office. One could go down the United States Presidential line of succession comes in and the first fifteen positions all would present another Republican either from the Congress or the Cabinet. Nowhere in the conceivable line of succession can one find a single Democrat or even a non-conservative Republican. Well, until a new person receives Senate approval, then Secretary of Agriculture Mike Young who is a leftover from the Obama administration is a Democrat but he still sits in position nine thus highly unlikely to ascend even under the most optimistic impeachment dreams. Impeachment, despite being the wildest dream of many online posters, had about a zero percent chance of achieving their desired goal, a progressive liberal into the Oval Office.

 

So, where does this leave the most determined leftists who demand that they take their place as the rightful leaders of the United States as they are the true and real intelligent people who are understanding and sensitive enough to rule over any modern and proper society? What series of events can possibly lead to their ascendance into the positions of power and give them their rightful promise of permanent leadership over the United States and eventually the planet. The first thing we need to understand is that a large number, if not the vast majority, of true leftists, the revolutionary leftists refuse to wait four years and allow for the grand advances made under President Obama to be walked back and undone. They demand power and they demand it now. Anything else is an anathema to them and completely outside the realm of acceptable. These are dangerous thoughts and ideas. We can pray that these people do not decide to act on the only means by which they can actually take power, revolution. The fearful thing is that leftists sufficient numbers rather than sufficiently close to majority of the percentage of the population, simply enough of a percentage that they can count on the needful support, then they will take power by means of deceit, trickery or brute force. All of these can be credited as being a coup even if through deceit and trickery they take command of the country.

Hitler and the Nazis used deceit and compromise which they offered never expecting to meet their side once they received the powers they craved. The emperors of Rome took power through deceit and use of power taking control of the military forces closest to Rome and bringing them illegally into the city to seize the Senate and force their idea of a compromise. Napoleon simply offered the French order and an end to the near constant state of revolution since the disastrous French Revolution did not present the kind of stable governance and ordered society with relief from the poverty and desperation which existed in the final years of the monarchy. Mussolini promised order and making the trains run on time, which he succeeded in doing by executing train crews who arrived late from their schedules. The governance which in modern times which has been produced by such coups, such forced changes from democracies, has been some form of fascism be it Nazis, Communism, or straight Fascism as in Italy and Spain. The problem is should there ever be a revolution in the United States, the world would fall into a darkness which would necessitate likely thousands of years before freedom and liberty would shine their light on planet Earth. This would truly be a sad state of affairs for the foreseeable future. We pray that such will not befall the world, especially with much of the world facing crises in varying degrees and from disparate threats which could only worsen with no promise of an intervention from the United States.

 

The problem is without a great and long-lasting surge, an economic explosion whose effects continue for decades, preferably centuries, allowing for the United States to climb from its current state of ever-growing debt and actually become debt-free, then the United States will eventually fall becoming insolvent and beyond any ability to pay off her debt even with her entirety of resources. If this should be accomplished it would be for the first time since the Presidency of Andrew Jackson, the only President to leave office with the United States debt-free. Even George Washington was unable to make that statement nor was Thomas Jefferson, another President who decried debt, and only the debt hating President Andrew Jackson who probably hated the debt beyond all other efforts he would accept as his challenge. The great day was January 8, 1835, when the debt was retired and Washington D.C. gathered with everyone who was anyone and celebrated this monumental accomplishment, a truly monumental accomplishment. One wonders if this can be accomplished ever again. One truly wonders.
