Leaked “Deal of the Century” Isn’t

 

The trial balloons have been slowly leaked to the people who matter on exactly what will be in the “Deal of the Century” President Donald Trump has been claiming he will finally bring peace between the Arabs and Israel, the Jews. These balloons are only partially inflated as the Trump Administration is playing their cards close to the vest. They are mostly floating the most contentious pieces to watch and see how everyone reacts. Fortunately for Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu and all the other important party leaders in the coalition and in the opposition will not need to say a word; they just have to allow Abbas and company to talk. The problem is that everybody in the opposition will jump onboard with the plan claiming that it is just about everything they have said was required for there finally to be peace with the Arab Palestinians and some may even ask why so many deviations from the pre-Six Day War Green Line* are part of the deal. Some might claim that Israel does not need the settlements. They will sound as if they are negotiators for the Palestinian Authority (PA) and not on the Israeli side at all.

 

There will be one outlier, Yair Lapid. His response will depend upon which side of the bed he got out of that morning, the right or the left. If he got out of bed on the right, then he will claim that the deal is overly balanced for the Arabs and that Israel would be required to make very painful, some might say dangerous, concessions but if the United States and the United Nations can guarantee what is promised, then Israel should accept the proposed borders with a few minor corrections. If he got out of bed on the left, then he will stand in near total agreement with Zehava Gal-On, the leader of the Meretz. Mr. Lapid’s claims that he stands to the right of Netanyahu only lasts as long as an election cycle, and once he is either in or out of the coalition he begins tailoring his speeches to fit the audiences. He is as if he has no honest opinions that are his own, but that is not entirely true. Yair Lapid was a supporter of Labor Party most of his life and his associates and friends are largely leftists. He has always and will always support the Two State Solution and a divided Jerusalem. The one thing which people need remember about Yair Lapid is that his former profession makes him a professional teleprompter reader and thus he can deliver completely opposite speeches at the same time with his address to the left side of the audience contradicting his address to the right side of the audience and as long as the one side cannot hear what he says to the other, then he will receive rounds of applause from both sides.

 

Now to the leaks and what we have been able to patch together from the little squeaks we have heard in the night. First and foremost, this plan obviously has not been run past the President or he saw it and decided to allow Abbas and company to reject it for him. The “Deal of the Century” leaked thusfar has State Department and Arabist writ large all over it. We can hear much of Exxon-Mobile, Saudi Arabian friend and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson echoing through and through these leaks. It is difficult to read the idea that the same President Trump who recognized Jerusalem as the rightful Israeli capital and is having the dedication for moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem this mid-May is calling for redividing it and giving the entirety of the Old City including the Temple Mount, City of David and the Mount of Olives Cemetery to the PA, as the leaks claim. Further, the rumors speak of only retaining some of the Jewish communities beyond the Green Line meaning that very probably many Israelis will need to be reintegrated into the areas of pre-Six Day War Israel. This will cause great hardships as the unfortunates who were displaced as a result of the Gaza withdrawal have yet to be fully returned as productive citizens with employment and an actual home. Those were people fully employed with homes and neighbors, with friends and fellow congregants, with real and happy lives as complete and full as any and now still seeking a place, any place which they can make into a home and find a restoration of a life with meaning and full of hope. Israel does not need another group of such refugees, even if they only count as a few thousand, though it is far more likely the plan is talking not even of tens of thousands but hundreds of thousands. That does not even include the Jewish population who has returned to their homes in the Old City which has surpassed one-third of a million. This also does not give any consideration of the Arabs in the Old City who have a limited citizenship within Israel with all the legal and social rights other than voting in national elections and the majority of whom have expressed their desire to never again be under the oppression of the PA.

 

Abbas Gives Peace This Much of a Chance

 

Much of this plan resembles the plans which were presented by Ehud Barak and Ehud Olmert which divided Jerusalem along the 1967 pre-Six Day War division which became the tactical position for Arab snipers to fire at every Israeli; Arab, Jew, Druse, Christian, Israeli, tourist or even space invaders, anything which was moving even to include dogs and cats as they were shooting for amusement as well as to murder as many hapless Israelis, preferably Jews, who came within their sights. The rest was partitioned once again along the 1949 Armistice Lines (Green Line) with minor adjustment and Israel was permitted to retain some of the more established communities (settlements) beyond the Green Line while the outposts and lesser communities (smaller or geographically isolated settlements) would be destroyed and their populations rendered homeless and would need to be relocated elsewhere within the Green Line presumably. This proposed solution is so obviously something proposed by the State Department who would give the Arabs the entirety of Israel if the power to decide such were ever granted them. This has been the cookie cutter response proposed by President after President and has met the same acceptance by Israel with reservations and outright dismissal by Mahmoud Abbas and Yasser Arafat before him. The leadership of the PA in particular and the Arabs in general is simple; they cannot accept any solution which does not completely erase all of Israel. They have promised their people and raised three generations of absolutists who were weaned on the destruction of Israel, educated to seek the destruction of Israel, sent to summer camps which were closer to basic training and commando training camps than recreational and there taught that Allah demanded of them the complete destruction of Israel. The result is there are a good number of young adults and teens who are completely inundated with hatred of the Jews and a murderous obsession with the destruction of Israel. These radicalized members of the population are completely unaccepting of any peace with Israel; they will only accept the utter destruction of the state of Israel and are so beyond control they would murder any leader who made such a peace. This places Mahmoud Abbas exactly where he belongs, having to appease an unappeasable and murderous mob who would gladly kill him if he were to take any offer of peace. They do not want peace, as they have been raised for total warfare and believe that the Jews can be sent running with their tails between their legs just like the Crusaders, the British and every other group to come to the Holy Lands. Those others were all actual invaders with no actual attachment to the land beyond a love of Jerusalem and a few historical cities. The Jews will prove different, as we have come home to the place where we began and where we lived with Hashem and are foretold that we will do so again. This is our home and despite what they believe, we have no other home and cannot return to the Diaspora as only death awaits us there. We are home to stay and Jerusalem was and has always been our only capital since David Melech (King David).

 

Abbas Statement Excerpts and Their Intended Result

 

The one constant thusfar, and likely forever, is that the PA leaders will refuse to accept any peace proposal outright and will never make any counter-proposal stating those items that would make an agreement acceptable to them. There are two main and easily understood reasons that force this situation upon the PA leadership, and Mahmoud Abbas especially. The first reason is the only time that a Palestinian leader made a counter proposal was when Yasser Arafat gave President Willian Jefferson Clinton the demands which he believed that any Israeli leader would refuse to even consider out of hand. When President Clinton explained what Yasser Arafat demanded to then Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Barak accepted them and agreed to make the deal. Yasser Arafat simply bolted from the conference in Paris and refused every further attempt in the final days of President Clinton’s second term to get him to sign a peace accord. Since then, no PA leader has ever delineated what he would be willing to accept. The other reason is that the Arab Palestinian position has become so radicalized within the power structure and amongst the younger Arabs raised on the poisonous hatred of everything Israel and everything Jewish. This has made it such that the PA has been transformed, or is it untransformed, back into the PLO** terrorist group founded in September 1964, almost three full years before the Six Day War and any so-called “Occupied Territories” ever existed. The original claim of the PLO was to destroy Israel and remove the usurper Jews and reclaim all of the land from the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea. There was no idea to form any state of Palestine; the idea was to give the lands, after the destruction of Israel, to Egypt and Jordan. The idea of an Arab state of Palestine was born of the loss in the 1967 Six Day War when the PLO refused to alter their claims to liberate the lands occupied by Israel. Mahmoud Abbas stated it clearly in a United Nations speech when he stated that he demands that the lands occupied by the Jews stating, “No one has held Israel accountable when it occupied our territories in 1948.” This speech he also repeated his infamous claim that, “We are the descendants of the Canaanites that lived in Palestine 5,000 years ago.” Here we include a few videos of Abbas and some of his more outlandish claims to the world.

The reality is Mahmoud Abbas has promised himself into a corner where he can only accept the total destruction of Israel. He has burned all the bridges to get back to the concept of destroying Israel in stages. He faced threats to his own power and position, which in this case means his life and fortune. These threats came from those who read the lay of the field amongst the Palestinian Arabs, especially the youth, and saw they wanted more radical leadership and craved action in the form of more attacks and more terrorism and some even desired an all-out war with Israel. The end result which became accepted as the sole solution was the erasure of all of Israel and the Jews slaughtered where they stood, slept, walked, ran, dined and everywhere they could be found. Hamas has gained in popularity because their charter actually calls for the murder of every Jew in the world. This is the new parameter has become the bottom line and anything short of Israel dead and the Jews dead with anything short of that completely unacceptable and must be rejected out of hand and any leader accepting a peace with Israel would not last out the week, just like the assassination of Anwar Sadat by his own military men at a military parade and event. Should Mahmoud Abbas accept anything President Trump or even his allies, and they are the allies of the Palestinians, from the State Department write up and propose he would be dead killed by his own security detail before he left the building. This has been the Israeli ace in the hole which most do not even realize, the Arab Palestinians will refuse every offer.

*The original 1949 Armistice Lines which the Arab League demanded could never be construed in any fashion, as a definition of a border as doing such would include recognition of Israel and the Zionist Entity.

**PLO is the Palestinian Liberation Organization which is the terrorist group formed under Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas with the blessings of the Arab League and assistance from the KGB as a terrorist group in September of 1964.

Trump Warning to Palestinian Authority Much ado About Nothing

 

The end of last week President Trump gave official warning to the Palestinian Authority (PA) that they had violated the terms under which they operate offices in Washington D.C. demanding that they enter talks with the Israelis in order to prevent their being shuttered. Some news termed these as the PLO offices which are simply further proof that there is no difference between the PLO and the PA thus they are either both patriotic peace seeking entities or terrorist entities to be shunned and shut down. This has been hailed by supporters of President Trump as an unprecedented move. Sorry folks, this has been part of the threat and promise operations since President William Jefferson Clinton had their office permitted, breaking numerous regulations and initiating something new and giving the State Department responsibility for seeing to it that the move resulted on a positive peace. Nobody ever actually defined positive but the State department saw positive as meaning giving the Arabs everything they desired and forcing Israel to commit suicide in the process. One need remember that it was the State Department which was so over the top opposed to permitting Israel to be recognized under President Truman. Fortunately, President Truman put more faith in what his strongly Christian mother taught him about the Bible including the Old Testament and especially Hashem’s promise to Avraham and repeated to Isaac and repeated again to Moses, that the lands between the Jordan River and the Great Sea were the Holy Land belonging to Hashem and for the Chosen People, the Jews being the remnant which remained, and that they would one day return and build a nation which would give man blessings and wonders. President Truman ignored the State Department and the Pentagon and virtually every advisor in his Administration and listened to his heart and the teaching of his childhood and recognized Israel despite the swarm of naysayers surrounding him screaming, “NO!” Mankind has not completely realized yet the great good President Truman committed on that day but anywhere on the globe willing to allow Israel to help has been thankful ever since. Israel has often reached a disaster area and set up before even the United States and is invariably the last nation to leave and they always leave the place better for their having been there.

 

But this threat to the PA is a meaningless gesture made to coerce, not intended to be carried out. This threat is in addition to the gifts Israel will be forced to turn over just so President Trump, Secretary of State Tillerson, if he is fortunate, the Middle East team members and Prime Minister Netanyahu and chief terrorist and President of the PA Mahmoud Abbas of the Munich Olympics terror attack fame, can all stand on the White House lawns on a sunny day with just the right number and size of puffy white nonthreatening clouds and have a thousand pictures per minute snapped by an overly eager media to eat up the momentous occasion of yet another handshake which will have the President centered watching and nodding approvingly. President Obama weaseled a handshake for the historic photo to put somewhere in his Presidential Library. President George W. Bush did not get his handshake mostly because he did not try and left well enough alone until Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice whispered in his ear the sweet nothings about the Palestinians deserving an opportunity to prove their great and wondrous ability to form an excellent and industrious state capable of great things. That was the start of the Gaza debacle which is responsible for the rocket attacks and terror tunnels in the Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other various undesirables’ war of attrition against Israel. Hamas took Gaza from the PA in a fairly quick and violent coup where the PA turned tail and fled. The one honest item which came from this disaster was the facts were made obvious that the Palestinian Arabs do not desire their own lands as much as they desire the destruction of everything Jewish. Hamas is honest enough in their charter to claim their goal is the destruction of the Zionist entity, Israel, and then the death of every Jew on the planet and world conquest. In all honesty, it is part of the Islamic religion as it is currently taught and interpreted by their leading Imams, that they are entitled to rule the world and must take it through violence and any means necessary as Allah has promised them victory in all things.

Moving back to the present, President Trump has one of his trusted and top team manned by such people of importance as his son-in-law and chief Middle East adviser Jared Kushner; Jason Dov Greenblatt who is the executive vice president and chief legal officer to Donald Trump and The Trump Organization as well as a top advisor on Israel; the United States Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, who is a renowned Zionist and friend of Israel, which is something almost an oddity with all things considered; and lastly some State Department officers and personnel which includes Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategy Dina Powell. It is truly an all-star team and is in pursuit of what President Trump calls “The Ultimate Deal.” The team has spent the last ten months educating themselves on the world’s most intractable dispute and its various complexities. Jason D. Greenblatt was quoted speaking for the entire team presenting the facts as, “We have spent a lot of time listening to and engaging with the Israelis, Palestinians and key regional leaders over the past few months to help reach an enduring peace deal. We are not going to put an artificial timeline on the development or presentation of any specific ideas and will also never impose a deal. Our goal is to facilitate, not dictate, a lasting peace agreement to improve the lives of Israelis and Palestinians and security across the region.” We have a really short and single piece of information which we bet the dream team might have overlooked when discussing what Mahmoud Abbas, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the Arab League and just about every other entity which pretends to care about the Palestinian Arabs insist as part of any final solution, the complete, total and permanent eradication of the country known as Israel. Anything short of this makes the deal null and void and of little interest other than keeping the United States, United Nations, Europeans and any other fools in the world sending their millions of dollars and euros.

 

President Trump probably honestly believes that there is a deal he can reach which protects and preserves the country of Israel, makes some arrangement for the Arabs to govern themselves without posing any further threat to Israel and the other Arab interests will be ready to cooperate on finding some solutions to problems such as Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and anything else that pops up or they forgot such as Libya. Fortunately for President Trump, there will be no miracle peace plan which Mahmoud Abbas will accept no matter how much the Saudi Royal Family threatens him. That is the secret which has preserved Israel even when the most gullible of political parties were elected and were willing to give away the farm, or almost if not all of Judea and Samaria in the name of peace and cooperation. Even the most presumably enticing offers have been turned down by Yasser Arafat and, after his death, then Mahmoud Abbas. There will be no peace deal now, next month, next year or ever as long as any deal allows Israel to remain. Oh, remain what, you ask? Simply remain as in exist; occupy any area on a map. The Ayatollahs of Iran made the only acceptable solution when they permitted then President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to state, “Israel, a small country of less than eight million people, looks out at a world where leaders of much larger nations threaten to wipe it off of the map.” There has been contention that the actual translation should have been that Israel would collapse. According to the Washington Post, “in the 1980’s Khomeini gave a speech in which he said in Persian ‘Een rezhim-i eshghalgar-i Quds bayad az sahneh-i ruzgar mahv shaved.’ This means, ‘This occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the arena of time.’ But then anonymous wire service translators rendered Khomeini as saying that Israel ‘must be wiped off the face of the map,’ which Cole and Nourouzi say is inaccurate.”

All of the efforts will prove to be in vain. This is a case where the best plan is absolutely leave it all alone. Look at the world and ask yourself a simply question, is the Arab-Israeli conflict honestly the biggest problem facing humankind? Is this problem worse than Syria, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, China, Russian collusion or, wait, it might be a bigger problem than Russian collusion except that problem suffers from the same problem as the Arab-Israeli problem, the media have blown both way out of proportion. If the media and the rest of the world would ignore the Arab-Israeli problem for say six weeks, is that possible? Well, if it were ignored for six weeks, it is probable that it would be forgotten and would eventually solve on its own or simply melt like ice cream on a summer afternoon. Some day soon, we will discuss what makes the Arab-Israeli problem into a vital and central issue that the world cannot ignore or else. They never explain or else what because there is no actual or else. But that too is a secret.

Israeli Settlements a False Issue

 

Concentrating on half-a-million Jews and ignoring a situation of ten times the numbers which are the five-million refugees presumably all from 1948, with just a smattering from 1967, forced within Israel proper to force Israel to become an Arab state, the twenty-third Arab State, and removing the sole Jewish State conceals the reality of the situation, that the Arabs are insisting not on their own state but to have both states to become Arab states with the names of Palestine and al-Israelabi. But the reasoning behind the concern all about the “Jewish problem” while ignoring the facts that the Arabs are demanding the death of Israel, demanding to be permitted to swamp the only Jewish State with sufficient Arabs “refugees” who have never for one second been within Israeli borders, demanding the Jews accept any deal as temporary until the next temporary deal, and demanding the world assist in murdering the six-million plus Jews residing in Israel by refusing them exit when the Arabs takeover is simply because the Israelis are civilized and will talk and are willing to resolve problems in a civilized manner while the Arabs are living under a seventh century code of accept surrender and then plunder, ravage, pillage and murder the former inhabitants or change the order around and put murder the former inhabitants ahead of accept surrender and then plunder, ravage, pillage and murder the remainder of former inhabitants. Meanwhile Europe and the United States and the remainder of Western Civilization is hoping against hope that the Arabs will be sated for a period of time with having Israel sacrificed for a momentary peace except that has absolutely no possibility of working, and here is why.

 

The world needs to wake to the nightmare that is facing them. The leftists in order to rid the world of those they find distasteful from those amongst them, the ones insisting on preserving the Judeo-Christian value system, are siding with a primeval force which is tribal and fiercely demanding of those it rules that they surrender completely and totally to their societal structure which leads to destroying all else and making it all a part of their Islamic society. The difficulty with accepting such a deal will not satisfy these Islamists because their definition of Islam does not accept the convert as having made the choice freely thus not being of a pure Islamic soul and therefore they will be amongst the first sacrificed for the purity of Islam. A warning to the half a billion Muslims who think they are following Islam correctly, you have made one horrific choice as only a Sunni or Shiite can be a true and good Muslim, whichever ends up with the largest camp of believers once the world has been subjugated and all other beliefs have been eradicated. Once the entirety of Islam has been whittled to the pure Sunni or Shiite state, we will simply refer to this as Islam as it matters little which one becomes the prevalent and thus the only form of Islam practiced because this does not end the purification as there will then be those Muslims who are slightly different than the rest of the followers of Islam so they must be impure. This purification could continue until, as in Highlander, there will be only one, and we do mean only one, and thus the end of Islam, Human kind and finally a real intelligent life-form can develop and hopefully make a whole new and different set of mistakes as the most intelligent species on the planet.

 

That problem of an uncivilized force living within a civil society played out again on the streets of Israel yesterday. As of this writing an infant who suffered horrific wounds including the near loss of one of its tiny legs had gone into emergency surgery at Ein Kerem Hospital with the hopes of saving the one and a half year old’s leg through microsurgical techniques and also saving the infant’s life. Dr. Ofer Merin, head of the trauma unit at Shaare Tzedek Hospital, said “the infant aged around a year-and-a-half has a serious wound to his leg. We decided to transfer him to Hadassah Ein Kerem to save his leg in an attempt at micro-surgery treatment.” The attack which caused this dire and tragic situation was the result of yet another assault on a crowded sidewalk in Jerusalem by ramming into the crowd with a vehicle. The attack might have turned out for the worse had the vehicle not struck a fire hydrant bringing it to a stop. After ramming and destroying the hydrant, the driver emerged from the vehicle armed with a hand axe and started moving towards the injured with the obvious intent to finish off as many of the injured who could not run from him and then probably slashing at whomever they were capable of striking. Fortunately, when the driver, a twenty-one-year-old Arab terrorist from Jerusalem’s Beit Hanina neighborhood, emerged still intent on even more carnage that bystanders ended his rampage of carnage dispatching the terrorist with a few shots eliminating any further realizations of this terrorist and potentially still qualifying as a murderous intent almost qualifying as human. Below is a video of the scene soon after the incident had been dramatically brought to a close and the treatment started. There were fourteen people injured with an older woman in her sixties and the young infant the most serious amongst those injured which does include the infant’s mother being treated at the same hospital as her child, Ein Kerem Hospital. Additionally, yesterday three people received light wounds from a rock attack on their vehicle. As they related, their vehicle was assaulted by a barrage of various sized rocks as they were ambushed by a number of youths hurling rocks including some of considerable size one of which penetrated the vehicle window and is pictured below. The three injured individuals received treatment from Magen David Adom (MDA) medical teams and were taken to hospital for additional treatment. Such attacks have become a daily event with numerous such attacks each day. As many Israeli drivers whose travel takes them into areas both within and outside the Green Line where such attacks regularly occur have had the windows of their vehicles replaced with tougher and more resilient and impervious to rock attacks installed and thus have escaped such attacks with minor dents to their vehicles but with the passengers unhurt and capable of taking such attacks more in stride. This does not lessen the severity of the problem but has played to make such attacks not as newsworthy despite there not being any decrease in the number of vehicles under such attacks daily. The only such attacks which are reported are thus those with injuries of sufficient severity as to require a visit and treatment at a hospital; as if the first responders at such an attack are capable of treating people at the scene and their not requiring transport to a hospital, that by the time a reporter and cameraman can appear on the scene of a rock attack the only thing left to see is the police report which even that would require a request for information as even that report has been filed by the police. It is a sad commentary to be capable of saying such attacks which would be considered front page newsworthy in Paris or New York, London or Los Angeles, Berlin or Chicago, the Hague or Boston or even Brussels or Washington D.C. does not make the news cycle even if it were to take place in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv as without a picture there are not the thousand words to replace such and thus the story remains untold. What the world must remember that the attacks on Israelis, be they rock assaults on Israeli vehicles on her roadways, knifings with anything from a kitchen knife to a screwdriver or even including hand axes or rammings with a vehicle where the vehicle is towed away and the people treated on scene, again, no dramatic video and accompanying pictures, then no article and it is dismissed as just another such assault. The positive is by giving such attacks virtually no coverage or mention in the news beyond a blurb before going to commercial, almost a filler if necessary, just does not give the terrorist any “fame” or credit, so to speak, and thus makes the entire idea of such an attack less appealing or glamorous, and the perpetrator being eliminated without being referred to except by the most general of terms, no glamour, no fame, not even any decent notice and possibly thus no virgins in Muslim paradise, what could be worse.

Still, if anyone from the White House or State Department wishes to be front page news, all they need do is one more time condemn Israel for building homes for Jews on land which is liberated Israeli lands taken in an offensive war in 1948-9 by the seven Arab nation’s armies in an attempt to drive the Jews into the sea and annihilate them. The so-called “West Bank” is actually Judea and Samaria which were part of Israel on the morning of May 15, 1948 and the evening before when David ben Gurion pronounce Israeli independence from British rule ending the British Mandate and the next morning seven national armies swarmed over Israeli borders intent on murdering every soul they met, Arab or Israeli. The Mufti of Jerusalem, though during World War II he could have more easily been declared the Mufti of Berlin, has instructed all the Arabs living within Israel to leave and get behind the front lines of the assailing and soon to be tasting victory Arab armies. The imminent slaughter of everybody within Israel did not quite come about as planned as something unheard of until that fateful day, which means very simply, the Jews fought back and did not just wait to be slaughtered as had been the case in Europe. A new day was coming.

 

Next time you hear somebody claim it is the Jews and the settlements which are to blame for there being no peace settlement; please correct their uninformed opinion with some reality. The Arabs could have had half of all the land but they would not settle for anything less than all of the lands and the better half at that. While Jordan held the “West Bank” they could have had their state but they formed the PLO in order to use terrorism to take all the lands. Anytime since the 1967 Six Day War Israel would have traded the “West Bank” all of Judea and Samaria back to Jordan for peace. When Jordan, after Sadat and Egypt boldly went where no Arab had gone before and made peace with the Jewish State (he paid for this brave and fateful move with his life as members of a reviewing troop broke ranks and assaulted the stands and slaughtered him for making peace) Jordan made peace and forfeited Judea and Samaria which Jordan had occupied since 1948-9 up until the lands were liberated in the Six Day War. A few years later the Jordanian monarch bent to pressures from the Muslim Brotherhood and the eighty percent of Jordanian population which also call themselves Palestinians, and forfeited the Jordanian claim (the same claim forfeited to Israel at the peace talks) to the PLO such that their struggle would now be treated as a struggle for their homelands and not just wanton terrorism when they murdered families having lunch at Sbarro Pizza Parlor or a Passover Seder for Holocaust Survivors and their families in the Park Hotel in Netanya, a northern suburb of Tel Aviv which were both blown to pieces by bombs in terror attacks which are taught in Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas schools as brave acts of martyrs to be honored and emulated. Please read these last links as they will open a new vision into these acts and their places in the two different societies, one barbarous in nature the other the civilized one who is blamed as that is the safer target.

 

When you hear anybody claim that Israel is the impediment to peace, please tell them we would give back the presumed desired lands except the Arabs want all of the lands and have refused numerous offers including one granted only because President Clinton claimed that Yasser Arafat had agreed to the terms thus Ehud Barak agreed to those same exact terms and Arafat stalked from the next morning’s meeting rejecting the very offer he made the night before without even a counter and within six weeks began the second intifada which claimed over a thousand Israeli lives and is what led to the construction of the wall and fence which ended the stream of suicide bombings as it took going through a checkpoint to enter Israel thus no more bombings. Ever since that went into effect the PA has pressed the United States Presidents to demand Israel open the passage into Israel and remove the racist checkpoints as they are demeaning. I have to go through a checkpoint to take a train, a checkpoint to enter a mall, a checkpoint to watch the Purim Parade in my town, a checkpoint to listen to candidates speak, a checkpoint to enter the municipal building to pay my water bill, a checkpoint to enter the post office where many other transactions other than packages and stamps take place, a checkpoint to enter the department store downtown and a checkpoint to visit my father in the hotel when he visits. Israelis have to go through checkpoints because of Palestinian terror attacks because one can never be too careful. Just to put this into perspective, with the entirety of Israeli public on alert and all who are licensed for weapons carry taking their firearm with them as added safety for all; the totals for the past three Jewish calendar months, that is exactly one-hundred-eighty days (three thirty-day months) are twenty-two dead, two-hundred-fifty-two injured which does not count for the numbers of people suffering from rock assaults whose cars were damaged but the passengers were unharmed and often these are unreported, and unsuccessful stabbing attacks where the terrorist was unsuccessful and upon meeting determined or armed opposition fled and thus going unreported, yet in each such case there is still the mental strains and stresses unimaginable by those never facing combat or similar situations and may they continue to be spared such horrors.

 

Tell them that just because the media does not cover the terror and violence launched and perpetrated upon Israelis, all Israelis including Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Bahá’í, Buddhists and of course Jews has not abated, it has simply returned to the whatever is the latest ‘norm,’ that is all. Currently that is as many as three stabbings per day, up to three cars used as an assault vehicle rammed into bus stops and other such gathering places, as many as seven rockets out of Gaza each month, and various other inconveniences perpetrated on Israelis dressed too Jewish such as spitting, slamming shoulder as passing, curses, tripping and other insults and degradations as what would be considered a major incident if it were to happen to a Muslim in almost any European or other western nation and the entire world would cease rotating until the dog who perpetrated such an insult was brought to shame, such being perpetrated on predominately Jews in Israel (or most of the rest of the world) is nothing to get excited about as it is no big deal. The only reason the last Gaza War did not produce thousands of dead Israelis was the Iran Dome and its over ninety percent interception rate. Even then there would have been thousands potentially killed in one single attack except for the hand of Hashem, praised be, as the Iron dome had missed three times and it was a puff of the wind between total calms which pushed the rocket into the sea instead of striking the central business center of Tel Aviv where likely thousands would have died and at least one if not as many as five towering skyscrapers could have been felled causing untold carnage. Israel is not an impediment to peace and had been an impediment to an outright military attack by Islam on Europe, but that is no longer a worry as Europe invited the invasion in upon itself and that is beyond Israeli abilities as wonderful as they are. One cannot save those not wishing to be saved, but at least let those who choose sanity to retain that sanity and do not impose your insanity upon them. If Europe desires fifty-million Islamic “refugees,” we will not prevent them taking all that they desire; we just desire to miss out on that deal which only leaves more for Europe to take, a mere drop in the bucket as the tap in Europe for Islamic immigration unchecked and without any restrictions, just walk right in.
