Apparently Very Few Know the Actual Laws

 

We just read a fantastic article from Israeli National News Editorial Page titled “The myth of ‘land for peace’” written by Eli E. Hertz. Of course, we loved what he had to say as it mirrored much of what we state on a regular basis. He made one point which we would like to expound even further upon, namely, why does the world consistently use the Arabist terminology all the while ignoring the reality of international laws and much research which is readily available. Mr. Hertz specifically called out the world for their use of the phrase, “Occupied Palestinian Territories,” which he correctly identifies as a disingenuous term that misleads the international and every other community finding and worming its way into the lexicon used by all too many NGOs who rant against Israel. Mr. Hertz went through the actual documents from which international law is based, and as we have stated any number of times, all the lands between the Jordan River west to the Mediterranean Sea belong to the Jewish State of Israel. The sole means by which this can be altered is by having the Israeli government actually submit paperwork quitting claim to lands and gifting them to another legal governance. This is the reason that the Europeans, the NGOs, the United Nations, the Arab League, Mahmoud Abbas and all the rest of those opposed to the existence of the Jewish State press the Israeli government to formally recognize statehood of an Arab state carved out of parts of Israel. Some of their logic is breathtaking in its audacity and its unbelievably loose attachment to reality.

 

The first test of Arab claims comes from the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The General Assembly voted urging of the Palestinian Authority observer to request from the International Court of Justice a ruling on the legality of the Israeli terror wall, the wall which reduced suicide bombings to none within three years, with the hope of gaining a ruling which would lead to its dismantling such that the terrorist operations would not be hindered by the barrier. The barrier was cleared as being perfectly legal and within the rights of Israel as the sovereign over the region, but that was just the initial good news for Israel. In addition to being cleared of any wrongdoing, there was an advisory opinion issued as a cautionary warning by Egyptian Judge, Justice El Araby, from the ICJ and who sat in judgement as part of the panel which heard the case from the United Nations General Assembly in 2003 on the legality of the security barrier erected by Israel. The Honorable Justice El Araby warned the UNGA and others that filing further challenges of the legal claims to these lands ran some risks, as he stated,

 

“The international legal status of the Palestinian Territory (paras. 70-71 of the Advisory Opinion), in my view, merits more comprehensive treatment. A historical survey is relevant to the question posed by the General Assembly, for it serves as the background to understanding the legal status of the Palestinian Territory on the one hand and underlines the special and continuing responsibility of the General Assembly on the other. This may appear as academic, without relevance to the present events. The present is however determined by the accumulation of past events and no reasonable and fair concern for the future can possibly disregard a firm grasp of past events. In particular, when on more than one occasion, the rule of law was consistently side-stepped. The point of departure, or one can say in legal jargon, the critical date, is the League of Nations Mandate which was entrusted to Great Britain.” 

 

The straight forward wording of the Honorable Justice El Araby is refreshing in that it plainly lays out as a warning that the Arab arguments against Israel do not have a leg to stand on and if brought before the world courts, Israel is going to win every time. As he so succinctly put it, no judgment for the future can be reached without coming from a solid legal background set by precedent and the stated applicable laws, which when it comes to the Israeli claim to the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, all the cards are held by Israel based on the League of Nations, the Mandate System and Article 80 of the United Nations Charter which all taken together give Israel claim to the lands in question. His advisory basically warned the Arabs not to come knocking on the court’s door expecting to waltz in and leave with being granted whatever they present as their demands, but those do not carry any legal weight. His warnings are specific and make a demonstrative statement and warning against any future of such actions.

 

The insistence by the world in adopting the Arabist terminology that there exists “Occupied Palestinian Territories” only serves to muddy the waters of the debate and do so in a misleading and erroneous manner. The truth of the situation would be more accurately conveyed by terms along the line that these are “Territories Occupied by the Palestinians” of legally Israeli lands. But then, the world has currently adopted almost every Arabist position in their discussions of virtually every subject where the Arab World conflicts with the remainder of the world. Another example of this misuse and twisting of realities is found in claims that Islamophobia is a greater problem than anti-Semitism. This can be proven very easily simply by researching the actual reported cases of these two forms of hatred. The table below shows the actual hate crimes statistics between anti-Semitism and Islamophobic rates over a five-year period from 2012 through 2016 clearly showing that anti-Semitic hate crimes outnumber Islamophobic hate crimes by a factor anywhere from two-to-one to as high as over five-to-one. By repeating the false data as if it were gospel does not serve either population but simply further feeds the mischaracterizing of the Muslims being targeted with greater frequency than Jews are targeted. But apparently the Arabs have adopted the methodology of Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, who postulated, “the principle and which is quite true in itself and that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily,” often misquoted or paraphrased as: “The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed.” But there are other claims made which also fit this paradigm.

 

 

Next, we would like to draw attention to the next misstatement. This is the claim that Israel is threatening to take over the Arab World. That is what they claim, that little old Israel is threatening the entirety of the Arab World. The complete insanity of this claim is immediately and easily recognized by simply looking at a map of the Arab World and Israel. In that map below, Israel is the tiny little red strip of land along the eastern edge of the Mediterranean. The reason why this fabrication is believed by so many is due to ignorance and an inflated view of the size of Israel. Many people believe that Israel is a fairly good-sized nation. When people are told that Israel is approximately the size of New Jersey, the usual and often immediate reply is something along the lines of, “No way.” Such disbelief comes from their view of Israel as one of the world’s great powers and as such it must be large. Well, some good things actually do come in small packages. People read about the inventions coming from Israel, the applications for their phones and computers coming from Israel, agricultural developments coming from Israel, medical advancements coming from Israel and the latest being Beresheet, the little spacecraft which made it all the way to the Moon only to suffer the catastrophic failure to fire its main thruster and slow its decent resulting in it striking the Moon far harder than she was designed to absorb. Still Israel became the seventh nations to orbit the Moon and the forth to actually hit the Moon. Then there is the fact that Israel is often the first nation to set up a field hospital anywhere in the world when there is any large disaster be it a storm, hurricane, earthquake or manmade disaster. These are all things one expects from the United States and thus, as Israel appears to be a match for the mighty America, people mistake Israel for being far larger than she is. There is one advantage to Israel’s diminutive size, one can reach anywhere in Israel from any other point in Israel in under one day driving.

 

Israel and the Arab World

 

The readiness with which the Western World has taken to adopting the Arabist and Islamic references and points of view only serves to assist advancing their narrative giving it preference over all traditional Western beliefs. The willingness, eagerness would possibly be a more accurate term, with which the Western World has come to throw out all of the Judeo-Christian ethos upon which much of the basis for the superiority attained by the Western World has been nothing short of appalling. Despite reluctance shown at times by the Church, the Judeo-Christian ethic is still the basis of common law, the basis for the English and American legal systems, the Enlightenment, the Renaissance and virtually all the advances made by the Western World over the past millennium. One of the reasons given by the progressives for the abandonment of the root of their culture is because of the dogmatic views of sexuality, marriage and numerous other items which largely fall under the classification of morality. Their decision to instead adopt the Islamic agenda is two-fold, first Islam allies with them in their attempts to rid the culture of all things Judeo-Christian and second they are accepting sight-unseen the Islamic Sharia taking the presentation they have been provided by the advance guard of an Islamic infiltration which will eventually become an invasion, just ask Belgium.

 

What will happen when Islamic forces, allied by the far left and other progressives, takes a strong enough foothold that the honest presentation will be made of exactly how Islamic jurisprudence treats such things as homosexuality, marriage, religious freedom and so many other items. When that day arrives, the sad and sorry state that their discarded Judeo-Christian basis for the society with a far more accepting and universal structure cannot be retrieved as once Sharia has been implemented, any attempt at restoring what once was the basis for Western society will now carry a death sentence as once one adopts Islam, there can be no leaving Islam. Anyone leaving Islam after once accepting Islam into their lives becomes an apostate, possibly the only thing more detestable by Islam than being a Jew. There are a number of other minor infractions which carry a death sentence of a variety under Islam. Homosexuals are treated by either being thrown from a tall building, having a wall brought down upon them or hanging, all of which are designed to end with the accused person’s death. Adultery also is punishable by death. The easiest way of putting this is that Islam is not the warm and fuzzy lovable faith which is accepting of all kinds of behavior and aligning perfectly with the leftist progressive agenda, it is as close as in total and complete opposition with the leftist and progressive principles. While we understand that the same can be stated about Judeo-Christianity, at least with Judeo-Christianity we are not being ruled by the Church. When Islam takes hold, there will be only Islam in its most rigid and strict form one can imagine. Everything you may have come to believe about Islam will come crashing down with a finality which will become the most frightening action the Western World will have ever experienced.

 

Take anywhere from two to four hours or so, depending on your reading speed, and read a copy of the Quran. Try and find one which lists the Hadiths in chronological order. To make life easier, we have an introductory piece on the Quran and in the comments are numerous links including some to such copies of the Quran. There is a rule of thumb when it comes to the Quran as some of the verses contradict or even state the opposite of other verses. The later verses supersede the earlier verses which usually means the verses written in Medina supersede the verse written in Mecca where Muhammad originally began his journey. The reasoning for this is called abrogation. Just for your information, the idea of abrogation came after the death of Muhammad, well after his passing, and was in response to a crisis in Islam and is the Islamic version of their reformation. Islam had suffered setbacks and defeats and sought out where they had gone wrong. This was at the end of the “Golden Age of Islam” when the West began to assert themselves. They went back and studied the life of Muhammad and realized that he was rejected and scorned in Mecca but flourished once established in Medina. This mean that the Quranic verse from Medina were superior to the weakness shown in Mecca. The Meccan verses still have their place, they are utilized whenever the Muslims are in the minority as they are currently throughout the West, though this is changing. The calming and acceptance oriented verses of the Mecca Quran are used to quiet any reluctance or pushback against Islam in the early stages of their conquest when they are not powerful enough to force their Sharia upon an unsuspecting public. There is an actual series of steps which the Islamic forces utilize in their takeover of any new lands. We have it in diagram form below. Currently the United States is largely in the first opening stage while European nations span anywhere from the first to as far as the third with some teetering on the forth stage. Once any society reaches the forth stage, their chances at regaining their society and the best hope is to flee or convert now.

 

Five Stages of Islamic Conquest

 

There are some leftist progressives who are familiar with Sharia and the entire methodology of Islam. But they have a plan of their own, and it actually includes utilizing Islam for their own ends. Their belief is that once they have rid themselves and the Western World of what they consider a disease, Judeo-Christianity, then they will simply redefine Islam to match their secular-humanist and eco-friendly leftist progressive politics. They will supplant the Quran with the Democrat Party platform, or at least the one Bernie will be running on as well as many of their other Presidential hopefuls. This is the level of their contempt for even Islam that they believe they can simply alter the precepts of Islam replacing Quranic verses with leftist-progressive polity. This is how much they have disdain for Islam and are simply planning on using Islam and then discarding it once they have their desired death of Judeo-Christianity. There is only one small problem with their plans, Islam is not that easily overthrown. Once Islam reaches the point where they are ready to challenge everything the people thought was the basis for their society, there will be no alterations made to the Quran as the Islamic plan brings in Imams who will decide what Islam means and what good Muslims are called upon to perform. Just for your information, the top of the list is to perform Jihad followed by assisting those who are Jihadists and next are those who finance the Jihadists and on down the line to the lower ranks such as providing shelter for the Jihadists both before and after their attacks have been executed. There is no room in Islam for a competing set of principles and those attempting such an alteration to Islam would be accused of heresy and potentially be considered to be apostates, neither is a desirable end. But the West in now too comfortable in their belief of their superiority, especially the progressives as was proven by their continued disbelief that Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump. Imagine their absolute unraveling should President Trump be reelected beating, choose your favorite Democrat here. But not to fret, President Trump cannot remain in the White House beyond either two or six years depending on the 2020 elections. Eventually the leftist Progressive wing of the Democrat Party will win the White House and very possibly both houses of Congress along with it. Then the real leftist-progressive policies will get their chance to prove that the Democrats really are the people who know how to implement socialism and make it work. If they are able to do so, they will be the first and we do not hold out high hopes that they will succeed. Do not get us wrong, they will attempt to implement socialism and may even go the full route and decide that their superior knowledge and political beliefs are reason enough for them remaining in power until they get that socialist thing perfected. That is providing that Islam has not taken control of the United States, as they will also bring on a socialist form of governance. Their form of socialism is that the elite get everything and the rest get next to nothing, picture Gaza or Iran, Syria, Libya, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and all of the Islamic run nations which have little if any oil wealth. Under Islam it is difficult to tell if it is Islam or socialism which drives their levels of poverty and the great disparity in wealth between those connected to the power and everyone else. We can imagine a day when Americans remember fondly the days when President Trump sat in the White House, but this claim will raise the ire of most leftists who strayed in their journey and landed here. Perhaps this might serve as a warning for them, though we highly doubt such would be the case. But be warned, as forewarned is forearmed.

Freedom of the Media was and is an Illusion

 

Freedom of the Media, the Press, was intended to mean that the media was allowed to take position opposing those in power. With President-elect Trump we have a complete rebirth of freedom in Media as the leftist media has been permitted total freedom in denouncing, condemning, delegitimizing and casting overt dispersion in such rapidity that the Maxim machine gun is jealous of their repetition rate against all items Trump. The only threat the American, and its twin of the European media and much of the western and developed world’s media, is facing is that largely, with few notable exception, is pure leftist progressive slant where anything which is not in line with their politically correct, censored, straight-jacket narrow view of the world is denounced as demonic, evil, Nazi-esque and potentially leading to censorship closing down all opposing views of the right wing. The media and their vociferous echo chamber of NGO’s, political advocates, full array of supportive leftist and progressive alternative media, and various leftist lobbyists all standing together making as much racket as the world might stand. That is one of the precious secrets of the Progressive leftists, they are all for one and one for all even more so than the Three Musketeers. This becomes evident in the one area where the left progressives have mastered something that the other end of the political spectrum has yet to even consider, let alone adopt.

 

Watch any demonstration for any leftist Progressive cause and you will soon understand how they get hundreds or more at every demonstration, universal representation. Go to an ecology rally against perhaps coal powered electricity plant in your city and there will be all sorts of ecology demonstrators including anti-nuclear power, pro-wind power, save the whales, clean our rivers, save the oceans, clean air and any other ecology cause imaginable. But that is not all. There will likely be others there who support other causes and are not particularly worked up about the ecology of the Earth and more concerned with the pro-choice, anti-death penalty, anti-racism, and even pro-Palestinian or BDS or other anti-Zionist, anti-Israel movements all there for one reason, the leftist you scratch my cause I’ll scratch your cause. Often at a demonstration for some cause there will be protest signs for other causes within the demonstration because if you protest one leftist Progressive cause, you are there representing all leftist progressive causes. And the mainstream will give favorable coverage with inflated numbers of protesters and enthusiasm and will take their pictures selectively attempting to only get the right standards despite others also on prominent display. Many will accuse me and ask how it is I know this. Well, once upon a time many years ago I was one of those liberals back when being a liberal meant keep the government out of my life, respect for all people, equality for all, live and let live, and, believe it or not, gun rights was not an automatic exclusion from the club. To be honest, the one cause which had tepid support was gun rights, but at least in those days it was not a cause which caused one to be disassociate and shunned.

 

Back then one went to every protest just as is the means today. There were people who would pay people to attend protests which were considered vital. These were often the protests against particular politicians or counter rallies to out shadow any right wing causes by having greater numbers at the counter rally thus making the coverage all about the liberal progressive cause which opposed the scheduled protest. Often the counter protest did not have any license or permit and actually be technically illegal but they were seldom forced to disperse and were given much freedom. The exception were the anti-war demonstrations which the government took a dim view and would use violent force to break up such demonstrations. This was back in the late 1960s and into the 1970s and with the times the position of the establishment changed as the left took command during the Administration and Presidency of Jimmy Carter. That was a turning point as from that point on the left progressive tours de force began a simple tactic, the just ignore everything between progressive majorities and just pick up right where the last front left off. This made for a force which became all but an inevitability which could never be opposed by anything the conservatives could establish.

 

This became evident when President Jimmy Carter simply picked up where President Lyndon Baines Johnson left off with the Great Society, affirmative action, wealth redistribution, ecology restrictions on industry through emissions and every other leftist progressive cause. Then there was a break for a dozen years of the Reagan and George H. W. Bush Presidencies. Then came President William Jefferson Clinton who continued expanding the progressive cause and then came another Republican, President George W. Bush, who was not so much a counter to the progressive causes than a slightly different approach in establishing big government programs which the “No Child Left Behind” program. This brought on the yet another rendition of ‘new math,’ ‘full word recognition’ and stressing minority contributions from the past replacing history with little mention of any contributions from white males and especially Judeo-Christian ethics and instead an anti-ethical education which removed any standard history of the United States and other Western histories which when mentioned it received condemnations of how it was exclusive not as meaning something exemplary but rather as racist, prejudiced and intolerant. Any traditional history was belittled and condemned by using modern day morality and equal rights viewpoints making everything from the past appear hateful and vengeful being racist, prejudiced and xenophobic. Making normative history where Christian, white male formed history such as the Founding Fathers were cast as hateful slave owners and thus not ethical or acceptable because such was unacceptable in these modern times and the European greats such as Da Vinci, Michael Angelo, Isaac Newton, Galileo and others were also intolerant, supremacist, racist, sexist and likely homophobic or full of other forms of hateful white supremacist views which would be condemned in today’s world. This version of history left much of traditional history untaught or presented as something to be rejected and spurned as horrible examples of a hateful past.

 

 

Some of such views are being presented in the media where past events are presented under a modern viewpoint and leftist microscope where anything which was acceptable back in history becomes unacceptable and regrettable as it fails to measure up to the modern ethos and leftist yardstick which was unheard of and did not exist when the history occurred. This method was designed and makes children ashamed of their past history and thus leaves them unattached to their past and because of their being separated and unanchored their views can be molded in such a manner as to overturn their ethics and allows them to be made to accept anything as one who has no past can be given any defined future. This is an actual method for disconnecting children from their parents, their history, their religious affiliations and anything which might define them as a continuation of their actual society and are instead given an entire redefined ethos which has nothing connected to their history and disconnecting them from parents and everything which would allow for a continuation of history and a continuation of the historic societal models. This is reinforced by the mainstream media which works using the identical redefined ethical framework leaving a youth which when they take the reins of power, they will start a society completely detached from past realities and all of history. The casting of all former history as evil and ruinous and without any worth was beautifully exemplified by President Obama when he returned the bust of Sir Winston Churchill as he refused to retain the visage of a colonialist, racist, evil, hateful individual and not the man who saved the world from Nazi Germany’s world conquest. This is indicative of the new morality that the mainstream media and education which are both completely under the thumb of the progressive, leftist rewriters of all history and religious anchors in order to create a brave new world where for all intents and purposes they could teach children that 2 + 2 = 5 as truth and the children would have no anchoring to know it was a lie. Thus is the prospect for the future in Europe, the United States and the remainder of western society, culture and the developed world should it remain under the sway of the progressive leftists whose remaking of society has actually been in progress under even the ‘conservative’ politicians since Theodore Roosevelt and shifted into high gear by Woodrow Wilson and accelerated by Franklin Delano Roosevelt (yes, a relative of Theodore) and moved along even faster by Lyndon Banes Johnson and the line held by Jimmy Carter and slight advancement by William Jefferson Clinton and George W. Bush and then taken airborne and breaking virtually every barrier by Barack Hussein Obama with the future remaining to be seen. The main reason for the apoplectic fits and near convulsive contortions by progressive leftists over the election of Donald Trump is they fear those who hold their religion as holy, their ethics as cemented in a tradition worth preservation, their history as ethical and who desire moderation in progress where changes are evaluated over time, instead of great leaps being taken blindly without looking back and burning all the bridges and even the castles and fields behind them assuring there is no chance of retrieving any morsel from our collective past as they are ashamed of their Judeo-Christian history despite it having been the basis for many positive developments.

 

They refuse to credit the Judeo-Christian ethics with the end of slavery instead blaming it for slavery, bringing about the Renaissance instead dwelling instead on earlier Church anti-science standings ignoring the truth that things changed and the fact that many of those precious progressive ideas they hold as sacred have their roots in the Judeo-Christian ethos that people are all equal in the eyes of Hashem and instead teach that religion was all about exalting white, male Christian superiority and all the evils which can be appropriated to such a viewpoint. The fact that history has been a progression of events and evolutions caused often by the very past which originally opposed change but with time softened and became champions of the progressive changes in society. The reason for the new view demonizing the past of the youths’ parents and ancestors and pressing that all their views which are actually the logical result of the Judeo-Christian ethics, they want to disposes the past and make the youth divorce their history and thus be pliable and moldable into whatever the latest untested theories for society the progressives can invent. Where this will lead is to an entire unanchored generation which will fall before any anchored group which has a strong history and religious anchoring who are willing to fight for their beliefs. These types will rule the day simply because, as the old adage goes by G.K. Chesterton (we realize that anything old, especially adages, is unacceptable and makes any argument unacceptable but tough), “When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing, they then become capable of believing in anything.” This probably states why the progressives work so hard to disconnect the youth from their past.

Lunacy of the Progressive Leftist Frenzied Hatefest

 

The mainstream leftist and progressive media continue kicking up the dust in attempts to mask the violence they are stirring up underneath the clouds of confusion. They talk of President Elect Donald Trump as if he were the greatest monster to ever reach office. They avoid recognizing the facts that he was duly elected President of the United States (POTUS) and continue to harp on Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote. Truth be known, take away California and New York and for fairness sake also remove Texas and the Deep South and Trump wins the popular vote. Hillary basically won New York and California by huge, and we mean YUGE, margins making the votes in the rest of the nation merely marginal in the contest for popular vote. Problem is this was not a popularity contest or a high school Class President race where the person gaining the votes of the jocks and the blondes wins the day. This was a regulated and carefully crafted contest as defined by the United States Constitution which established the Electoral College, the second best manner for choosing a leader coming from the second best set of laws by which to govern (having Hashem pick your leader and Torah are the best ways to find leaders and by which to govern a nation if only one existed today). The problem is rules do not matter when you are running a revolution, and that is what the progressive leftists are running, a fascistic takeover of the United States if they are permitted to get away with it.

 

Truth of the matter is the progressive media is simply keeping their base energized and ready to launch protest after protest at every single piece of legislation proposed by the Republicans. As they lost the elections and lost them big across the entirety of the country and now run most cities, the failing ones, and a few states on both coasts but lost the Presidency and Congress. This simply means they will take some time to discredit everything the government does, protesting the horrors which will come from repealing regulations which stifle businesses claiming that workers will be harmed despite their being the kind of economy where everyone who desires work can find a decent paying job. Also, because there will be more jobs than applicants, wages will rise. As long as wages are mentioned, bear in mind that even if Congress passed a minimum wage bill raising the minimum wage to $15.00/hr. over the next five years the media would go ballistic claiming that by the time five years have passed the minimum wage would need be $25.00/hr. at the very least. These are ‘glass is half empty’ when they are not in power and ‘glass overflowing’ even if it is obviously empty. Just read the job and economic reports on the economy during President Obama’s time in office. They almost praised his having one quarter where the change in jobs, income average, and virtually every other statistic was exactly zero, no gain, no loss, in almost every category, a statistical impossibility without cooking the results. It was later revealed that the report was a draft and not containing actual numbers and nowhere could one find the real numbers, how convenient.

 

Much of the talk coming from leftist progressive blogs, news both formal and informal, commentary, columns in major newspapers and other outlets is shrill to the point of being instigations towards violence against Trump, his family, Pence, the Cabinet nominees, the Ambassadorial selections (especially David Friedman as Ambassador to Israel as he actually likes Israel which should disqualify him for any Ambassadorial post, not just Ambassador to Israel) and any-or-everybody linked to Donald Trump and his administration during the transition and probably continuing on into his Administration after the Inauguration. Needless to point out, but the media was really behind something better than a mere Inauguration; they had the coronation of Queen Hillary I and her Royal Court into office next month. They cannot forgive Trump for having the gall and audacity to actually defeat Queen Hillary and denying her that rightful place reserved for her, the first woman to be President of the United States. They will never forgive the American people who voted for Trump even if, or especially if, they did so to assure that Hillary Clinton never again soils their White House unless on a tour and heavily guarded checking for silverware as she leaves. The people have spoken if one ever looks at the map county by county of who voted Hillary Clinton and who voted Donald Trump and the actual immensity of Trump’s victory becomes evident. The areas of blue barely if ever stretch outside the immediate suburbs of the major cities except in a relative few bastions and even in these states like New York, California, Massachusetts, Maryland and a few possibly in New England (see representative map in shades of purple, red and blue below).

The above map is not as extreme as the purely red versus blue map which is slanted even further in making it appear Trump won almost unanimously outside twenty cities, which is probably not a poor description, just a tad too slanted but no more so than the near constant pounding of, “Hillary won the popular vote and should be POTUS,” “Trump Not My President,” “Dump Trump,” and “Love Trumps Hate” (see images below) That last one is somewhat confused as it could also be used as a pro-Trump poster all depending on how it is lettered. The unfortunate item has appeared in some newscasts which report on the fueled hate, rage and tendencies for violence. There is an old political adage often used on the right which goes, “If you desire to know what the progressive left is planning, simply seek out what they are currently accusing the conservatives of committing.” During the two terms of President Obama the progressives accused the conservatives, often targeting the Tea Party, of equating Obama with Hitler (this was done at some rallies but unedited pictures have shown Lyndon LaRouche supporters using signs which clearly were marked as being from his organizations (bottom Image). The lesson we can take is one does need to carefully inspect from whence messages actually derive. The Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) often are seen at pro-life rallies as well as disrupting the ceremonies of fallen soldiers being interred which would appear as far right at one demonstration and perceived as far left at the other. The reality is that the WBC is a family who believe they know everything about everything with such assuredness and certitude because they honestly believe their messages are derived from Heaven. Their manners and willingness to insult the sensitivities of a family grieving proves that to be otherwise unless their Bible is worded very differently than mine and likely most of yours, dare we say all of yours. Unfortunately for the progressive left, their message is plain, clear and unmistakable. They won the election and damned be the rules. So what if we knew the rules ahead of the election, they did not go our way and thus must be corrected. That is their message on its face value, but is there another message hidden within their rhetoric?

The answer is that there is another message but it is not hidden in their message, it is their message. The message they are screaming is simply that they will stop at nothing and they will get their day to make America theirs again. They promise that one of these times they will finish the job and nobody will ever be able to oppose them again. The problem is that they are dead on right and they will prevail if for no other reason, they have nothing else in life as important as ruling the lesser people. Oh yes, we the multitudes are these lesser people and unless we masses stand against their ideas we will live under those ideas. What are these ideas? Well, President Obama and Hillary Clinton threw off any masks of pretense and plainly stated these ideas and what they desire to do for starters. “There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me – because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t – look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)
If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.
The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires; we don’t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.”

 

The entire Democrat Party stated it clearly when they refused any Republican amendment to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and passed it in both the House of Representatives and the Senate without a single Republican voting for this universal government guaranteed and funded, sort of, healthcare. When this fails, and it is failing, then the democrats will insist that healthcare in the United States is broken, which they know they broke, they will claim the only answer is a single payer government healthcare, their aim from the beginning. We know this because it was what Hillary Clinton tried to form into a comprehensive plan when her husband, William Jefferson Clinton, was President. Even the Democrats rejected such a plan back then because they knew they had to make healthcare even more burdensome before the American people would accept an all government system. That was the idea behind the PPACA, to destroy the insurance industry and make healthcare so broken the people would demand something, anything, and that will be when they get the socialist healthcare like Canada, Europe, and Mainland China. Their aims are the same that socialists have chased and imposed whenever and wherever they can take control, and eventually they will take control. The progressive ideals started with Theodore Roosevelt and was crystalized and defined by Woodrow Wilson and carried into programs by Franklin Delano Roosevelt with Social Security, higher Minimum Wage, a federal labor board which dictated prices and virtually all sides of manufacturing to retail which had to be retracted as the people all but revolted carrying proverbial pitchforks and torches to Washington through the voting booths.

 

Lyndon Banes Johnson gave us the Great Society which was far less great, not so much society, not actually civil, but was most definitely socialist and destructive all but permanently destroying many cities and even far more families as much of the aid to poor was a set of demands which demanded that parents be single parents and then they decried there being so many single parent homes, especially in the inner city communities, meaning minority generally and blacks in particular. They claimed that without the Democrats in power the welfare, food stamps and other programs would be taken from the poor should Republicans ever be elected. Since Lyndon Baines Johnson there have been a few Republican Presidents including Nixon, Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush and these programs did not disappear but now the claim is President elect Trump will take away these programs as the latest scare tactic. Then President Jimmy Carter decided that instead of having one Cabinet Department of Health, Education, and Welfare he made a separate Education Department as a new Cabinet position and competency and education quality have declined to the point where the United States is near the bottom of the industrial and developed world. The constantly proposed solution has never been to return education to the local level, preferably as close to the individual schools and their communities as possible but to spend more money and with these increased funds they demand that the schools hire people to assist the schools in utilizing these funds. The new hires use up most of the money just in salaries and then bemoan not having sufficient funding to meet the demanded programs, more funding. Schools have gone from a three or four room main office with one Principal, one or two Vice Principals, a relatively small number of councilors, two to three secretaries and the teachers were the hall monitors. In today’s schools many have two or more Principals, numerous Vice Principals, a small herd of councilors, a diversity coordinator, an EEOC coordinator, other coordinators and advocacy positions and all of these people have staffs and investigators, some have police in their halls, and instead of less than half a dozen offices there are now an entire wing of the schools used for administrations. Back before the Department of Education schools had a few necessary officers and that was all but now they have administrations and when you get such a formal title it takes more funding to staff these important administrators who mostly fill out reports demanded by Washington D.C. and half of the teachers teach two or less classes and spend the rest of their time filling out reports to prove they satisfied all the demands on diversity, multicultural education, inclusion teaching and who knows what else. They have changed reading from phonics to whole word recognition where the pupils are taught words by recognition of the symbols, the letters, but the letter have no sounds of their own, they just make a sound in the recognized form of a taught word. If your schools did not teach you some words, then you must not need those words, which is a great way to enforce limitations to thought because without the words how can one express new ideas?

 

Then there is new math because the old math of traditional methods was a failure because it did not use the latest psychologically meaningful method where the student will understand by having images in their heads from this system where every year they try a new approach and then complain that the children are confused and having trouble. The solution is let us try this new, new, new math. Math as taught today would bamboozle Euclid, confound Aristotle and would have left Bernhard Riemann lost and unable to reinvent geometry such that it could be applied to all surfaces no matter how irregular, and his mathematics enabled Einstein’s theories of relativity to have the necessary mathematical groundwork. Professor Riemann passed away on July 20, 1866 at the age of thirty-nine; a great loss for modern analytic geometry. Just under thirteen years later on March 14, 1879 Professor Albert Einstein was born. I would like to have seen these two men work together to solve the lofty questions of the geometric forms which make up our universe. Oh, did we mention that both these men learned math the old school way, the way we learned math and how one of us was able to take, and still working on fully understanding, a course using Professor Riemann’s book and theorems where n-dimensional space becomes one’s friend or one’s nemesis.

Back to another certainty where a great writer posed that if the government determined it to be true and taught everyone that 2+2=5, would that make it true? He also introduced us to Big Brother and a farm with some very strange animals, and the strangest of all were the pigs as they replaced the farmer. This author was a wild and crazy socialist idealist as a youth and became one of the world’s foremost adversaries to socialism as he gained experience, and we would believe wisdom. This man’s name was George Orwell, born on June 25, 1903, and died on January 21, 1950. His change of heart was a result of his observations of the three greatest socialist nations of his lifetime, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR), Communist Mainland China, and Nazi Germany and its socialist allies of Spain and later Italy. He predicted or witnessed social upheavals, depredations of morality, financial strident control resulting in shortages all the while enjoying the grandeur that the British Empire and the fledgling nations which sprang from her colonial holdings and how they differed so much from many of the other European colonial nations upon gaining their freedom. He attributed this to the fact that the British did not punish beyond taxes the entrepreneurial spirit and actually often worked at nurturing such exploits. The British also insisted that their colonial entities have adequate schooling to serve the crown to a higher level which brought wealth to both the crown and the colony. The other colonial European powers enforced a strict almost caste system with redistribution of resources always keeping the best possible for their own subjects and the crowns back home giving little regard to the peasant populations, as they viewed them, for all they were worth was a laborers to comply with instructions.

 

Imagine what we would be looking at in eight years had Hillary Clinton won and also achieved reelection. After a second term it would be unlikely that anybody more conservative than Bill Clinton could even imagine getting elected. The system would have been so overwhelmed with immigrants due to at least two if not many more waves of pardons for illegal aliens, there we go again, we mean undocumented workers, or is it citizens sans affirmation. Hillary Clinton had stated she believes that borders are not necessary to define a nation and that citizenship belongs in the ash-heap of history as the antiquated concept it represents. Equality in all things for all with our minders, our betters receiving a double, then triple and even more for their share as they are so much more deserving and their work more demanding scurrying around repairing this, tweaking that. Really there is no better way to describe how it all ends in a socialist nation as all one need do is look around the world and see which nations are stagnant, which are thriving and which are basically defunct and failed. The United States will thrive again; it is just a matter of how long it will take to slash away generation of barnacles from the Ship of State, which in English means ridding the books and the businesses of many of the useless regulations, reports and other government imposed restrictions and impediments. The USSR, dead and buried but still not exactly thriving as many of the detrimental resentments from almost a century of socialism and top down planning takes a while plus having such a steep negative growth rate withering away their population and the poor distribution of power which still remains far too centralized and held by a select few. Then there is mainland China which was doing so poorly they decided that cutting their population size would be easier than growing more food despite having much rich farmlands and good rivers. Their one child policy, a social engineering project if ever we saw one, produce almost two generations of mostly male children and now they are having some difficulties, like nowhere near sufficient women for the men to marry, what to do other than admit your plan backfired as you never anticipated that people would do whatever it took to have one male child. Abortions in China during this period were almost exclusively of girls which simply tell the story; one cannot force policies to have desirable outcomes, only allowing people freedom to reach their own desired outcomes and freedom to pursue life will produce the best results. The greatest example of the absolute bankruptcy of socialism comes from a nation with vast oil reserves and was once the beacon for democracy and free market economy with the highest per capita income in South America. Everybody figured they had it made and their government acted confident in that being true. They had a revolution and Marxists who believed that the Soviet example was the best form of fair governance and that they knew what went wrong and were going to show the world successful socialist governance. They had everything going for them with oil reserves and surpluses of almost everything. That was in the 1998 when Hugo Chavez won election running as a populist candidate. Often socialist progressivist governance comes to power under the guise of popularism which is code for giving people promises of plenty of free stuff. Once in office you take from those with wealth to fulfill your promises of giving the poorer people free things. When you steal from Bob, Bob will not vote for you in the future. But if you steal from Bob and give free things to George, Fred, Susan and a dozen or two dozen, it all depends on how much you give and what you can take from Bob, but then you get all those other people voting for you, so who needs Bob’s vote.

 

Hugo Chavez eventually ran out of people like Bob who had great wealth but there was still stuff to steal in order to continue to give stuff which needs not only to continue but now they demand bigger and more expensive stuff. So you nationalize the oil and gas industry and run them like a government agency. Well, that did not turn out as well as hoped so they nationalized the banks because obviously the banks had robbed the people of their money. Meanwhile the progressive leftist mainstream media lauded the greatness of Hugo Chavez who was still largely popular. Well, Hugo Chavez died of cancer in March of 2013, but he had a protégée who won election in April of 2013 making Nicolas Maduro the new President. The problems kept snowballing but all the government knows is socialism must work if only we make the right adjustments. People are starving; those with property do not leave their homes for fear of personal harm coming to them. Christmas was promising to be joyless which is one thing no government can allow, right? The government found the problem, apparently the main toy manufacturer was trying to gouge the people by charging high prices and get wealthy on the backs of parents buying gifts for their children at those inflated prices. The government took millions of toys and sold them at ridiculously low prices and how this raised moral in the capital and possibly places beyond, but there will be no joy nor toys to steal next year so this will be the last Christmas for the foreseeable future and socialism has brought the former jewel of South America to the brink of ruin and potential revolution. I think somebody should seriously think of heading out before being invited to leave more than Venezuela as they storm the capital with their remaining but fleeting strength. Every revolution has its turning point and the socialist revolution in Venezuela has actually gone beyond theirs. If ever there was a pressing reason to utilize the ridiculous and undignified Monroe Doctrine, it would be to assist Venezuela in holding fair elections and work to return the nation’s business to businessmen and women and assist their getting the nation back on its feet. Intervening with humanitarian assistance in this case has many an argument going for it as the United States used to and still does receive a share of our oil from Venezuela, so it is not like there is no self-serving interest in this case. But the people of the United States should have pictures of the extent to which socialism allowed to run rampant can destroy an otherwise healthy and prosperous nation and do so in less than twenty years. Why wait for the next lesson to possibly be the United States because should the people ever elect another progressive to the White House and allow them a pen and a phone as they will make quick work of reinstating everything up to and including all President Obama and the progressives before him had established and then add their own trinkets because that is how the progressives progress. Never ever retreat could easily be their motto, so to resist them never give up and never surrender and as Thomas Jefferson, or maybe Wendell Phillips, wisely wrote or stated, history can be so blurred and just imagine what the Internet will do to this with all the posts and tweets flying every-which-way, but to the quote in closing,

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty; power is ever stealing from the many to the few. The manna of popular liberty must be gathered each day or it is rotten. The living sap of today outgrows the dead rind of yesterday. The hand entrusted with power becomes, either from human depravity or esprit de corps, the necessary enemy of the people. Only by continued oversight can the democrat in office be prevented from hardening into a despot; only by unintermitted agitation can a people be sufficiently awake to principle not to let liberty be smothered in material prosperity.”
