If Only We Had President Hillary, Just Imagine

Think about it, just for a moment. Try and imagine how quiet the world would be. Imagine Facebook full of kitten and puppy videos and situational bloopers from some unfortunate’s life caught by cellphone, no calls for impeachment, no screaming day and night, a President who is being Presidential, professionally run signing ceremonies, a President working in the White House and no trips to Mar-A-Lago every weekend, the world at peace and everything nice and quiet with all wonderful reports in the media, well, except for those malcontents at Fox News. That is what we would have if only we had President Hillary Clinton who won the popular vote, did we mention she won the popular vote? Instead of the unprofessional circus being presented by team Trump we would have professionals appointed to the Cabinet and a real progressive and rationally tempered and modernistic viewing judge instead of this anachronistic Judge Gorsuch all tied up in originalist interpretations making decisions pretending he’s with John Adams in a powdered wig. We would have a polished, modern, professional administration and the media would be in step and the United States would appear to be functioning smoothly just as it had for the eight years under President Barack Hussein Obama. That would be so great to have the United States going along with all the European nations in sync with the plans and no threatening our friends and demanding they spend their monies as we demand of them. The government spending our taxes as we wish funding those so proper and feel-good projects such as Planned Parenthood, Meals on Wheels and the rest of the progressive collection. Wouldn’t that be wonderful not having all those ugly demonstrations because with President Hillary Clinton who would want to protest and those who might have better things to do such as earn and pay taxes so we can do all those wonderful things which are not getting done under President Trump.

There are many who would cheer making the above the new reality claiming that things really would be so much greater if only… The Trumpettes would have heart failure just thinking about a President Hillary. There is a difference though, with a President Hillary Clinton there is one truth, there would not be demonstrations because the Trump supporters would have accepted that the election went the other way and would have returned back to their lives working and waiting for the next election hoping to find a new candidate to carry the message. That is what happened after Senator McCain lost, that is what happened after Senator and Governor Romney. That is what would have happened had Trump lost. The one thing the Republicans and conservatives have learned to be very good at is accepting losses. The Democrats and especially the progressives and the leftists, refuse to accept losses and revolt at any reality that they dislike. They rise into the streets, well, not all, but enough of these types revolt at not getting their way. Some will run and repeat every rumor of a crack in the Trump Administration. Many have jobs and are not all that different from their conservative counterparts. They continue their lives after every election and go home to their families and continue soldiering on. But there are legions whose jobs are agitation, demonstration, disturbance, turmoil, upheaval and whatever it takes to force their revolution and agenda with no regards for anyone else. They are backed, backed, and backed even deeper by organization and funding. Many of these disruptors who were marching on Washington D.C. and numerous other left leaning, liberal major cities are not part of any organizations but are the numbers who show for the correct causes, the correct candidates, the correct reasons and for anything labeled the correct. Then there are those who organize, the community organizers just like President Obama where he started, the ones who seed the crowds with their specialists who scream the right words to start a chant, start the screaming yelling down some right winger so nobody can hear anything they have to say, start the crowd moving in the needed direction, the ignition point for executing the necessary plans. Then there are the real agitators who initiate violence when instructed to do so and then duck before the arrests are made as you cannot agitate if you are not there.

There are organizations high and low and everything between which work for the same ends though their methods are at times diametrically opposites. As there are some who are revolted by violence of any sort and others who live by the principle that eggs must be broken when making an omelet and are determined to make their omelet regardless of any consequences. Some are gentle and kind while others rough and some are brilliant while others are mindless followers. The one binding cement holding these disparate groups together is their thirst for what they believe is correct and true and that is their place in the halls of power. The majority of liberals accepted their loss in the last Presidential election. The ones running wild in the streets and on campuses across the United States demanding their rightful place simply because their cause is right and their demands are just and it is their right to be in power and to rule justly, rightly and instill their world whether the people desire their causes or not. Anything other than those ideals they pledge to have any say in making the decisions of the government is an anathema which they find completely unacceptable. In their world there is only one reality and it must match their beliefs and grant them everything they believe should be and anything which does not support their reality needs to be changed, corrected. The demonstrations witnessed after the elections and into the New Year through the Inauguration and through most of February finally petering out with small demonstrations reaching into March but the mass demonstrations have ended.

There is still a great demonstration continuing on Facebook and the rest of the social media. The fires of rage and the determined undermining of the President Trump, his administration and the Republican control of the two houses of Congress are still being stoked and standing in the ready. Many have a deep hatred of President Trump for his having the audacity to have stolen the Presidency from Hillary Clinton as it was her right to ascend to the Oval Office and continue the Obama policies and the cementing of the progressive agenda. After all, that was the natural order of things as far as every leftist, progressive, liberal and Democrat believed. The demographics depicted a nation where no Republican would ever again climb into the White House except to take the tour. The maps all depicted a red-blue divide which would elevate Hillary Clinton into the White House without a second thought. The vote was a matter of formality and it was only to be necessary to take the ballets and counting was not even to be necessary. But the law required counting. The media was all ready to attend Hillary Clinton’s coronation and the popular count made that all the more expected. But something was amiss and somehow Donald Trump, a real estate magnet who was nowhere near as successful as he claimed and a neophyte as a politician. This joke of a Republican candidate for President should not be taken seriously yet was gaining the electoral votes from states which were Hillary’s. What was happening? The world must have been spinning out of its natural orbit. The universe was experiencing some dark mystery which was beyond description and states like Pennsylvania and Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin were going to Donald Trump, even Florida and that did it, he trounced the unopposable woman and became the next President. This rocked their world even more because the media had spent the entire two previous years talking about how Hillary Clinton was a lock to win the Presidency.

The media did waver in the last few weeks showing Donald Trump climbing slowly but inexorably gaining until a few days before the election when he and Hillary Clinton appeared tied. Impossible as it may have seemed, the election became a contest but surely Hillary Clinton still held the keys to the Electoral College even if Trump managed to win the popular vote. Before Election Day we heard from the leftists, progressives, liberals and Democrats how the popular vote was meaningless and Trump could win all the votes he wanted, the Electoral College would decide the election and surely Hillary had that all locked up. Well, not exactly as it turned out to be the opposite was true. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by a safe margin but Donald Trump won the Electoral College handily. Suddenly the message from the Hillary supporters were screaming that the Electoral College was a backwards and outdated idea which was denying the real winner of the election, Hillary Clinton, who took the popular vote by a fairly sizeable margin from her deserved office. They totally switched their tune as soon as the music conflicted with the facts and their new tune now swirled around the exact opposite of the one from the day before and they were demanding that what they wished for the Republicans now be the reality as it now favored their candidate. All of a sudden there were comparisons between California and Wyoming claiming that Wyoming was unfairly represented. If it had happened in the opposite and Trump received the popular vote but Hillary won the election would arguments comparing Texas to Washington D.C. claiming Washington D.C. was unfairly represented have been acceptable? Honestly, no, it would have been seen as a sour grapes argument and laughed at and ridiculed on social media, but the California against Wyoming comparison is given the respect of being amongst one of the smartest and most respected arguments possible all but revered by the Hillary Clinton supporters.

So, what is coming in the future? The initial move challenging the vote and demanding recounts came immediately after the election and quickly failed. Then came the more long term plan of mounting a series of investigations until one can be rallied around and bring about the impeachment of President Donald Trump. But as we have pointed out previously, this would not accomplish the desired goal of placing Hillary Clinton or any other leftist, progressive, liberal or Democrat into the Presidency. There have been those who have described also impeaching Mike Pence and then Paul Ryan but even this would fail to place any leftists, progressives, liberals and Democrats into the Oval Office. One could go down the United States Presidential line of succession comes in and the first fifteen positions all would present another Republican either from the Congress or the Cabinet. Nowhere in the conceivable line of succession can one find a single Democrat or even a non-conservative Republican. Well, until a new person receives Senate approval, then Secretary of Agriculture Mike Young who is a leftover from the Obama administration is a Democrat but he still sits in position nine thus highly unlikely to ascend even under the most optimistic impeachment dreams. Impeachment, despite being the wildest dream of many online posters, had about a zero percent chance of achieving their desired goal, a progressive liberal into the Oval Office.

So, where does this leave the most determined leftists who demand that they take their place as the rightful leaders of the United States as they are the true and real intelligent people who are understanding and sensitive enough to rule over any modern and proper society? What series of events can possibly lead to their ascendance into the positions of power and give them their rightful promise of permanent leadership over the United States and eventually the planet. The first thing we need to understand is that a large number, if not the vast majority, of true leftists, the revolutionary leftists refuse to wait four years and allow for the grand advances made under President Obama to be walked back and undone. They demand power and they demand it now. Anything else is an anathema to them and completely outside the realm of acceptable. These are dangerous thoughts and ideas. We can pray that these people do not decide to act on the only means by which they can actually take power, revolution. The fearful thing is that leftists sufficient numbers rather than sufficiently close to majority of the percentage of the population, simply enough of a percentage that they can count on the needful support, then they will take power by means of deceit, trickery or brute force. All of these can be credited as being a coup even if through deceit and trickery they take command of the country.

View of an American Revolutionary Coup

View of an American Revolutionary Coup

Hitler and the Nazis used deceit and compromise which they offered never expecting to meet their side once they received the powers they craved. The emperors of Rome took power through deceit and use of power taking control of the military forces closest to Rome and bringing them illegally into the city to seize the Senate and force their idea of a compromise. Napoleon simply offered the French order and an end to the near constant state of revolution since the disastrous French Revolution did not present the kind of stable governance and ordered society with relief from the poverty and desperation which existed in the final years of the monarchy. Mussolini promised order and making the trains run on time, which he succeeded in doing by executing train crews who arrived late from their schedules. The governance which in modern times which has been produced by such coups, such forced changes from democracies, has been some form of fascism be it Nazis, Communism, or straight Fascism as in Italy and Spain. The problem is should there ever be a revolution in the United States, the world would fall into a darkness which would necessitate likely thousands of years before freedom and liberty would shine their light on planet Earth. This would truly be a sad state of affairs for the foreseeable future. We pray that such will not befall the world, especially with much of the world facing crises in varying degrees and from disparate threats which could only worsen with no promise of an intervention from the United States.

The problem is without a great and long-lasting surge, an economic explosion whose effects continue for decades, preferably centuries, allowing for the United States to climb from its current state of ever-growing debt and actually become debt-free, then the United States will eventually fall becoming insolvent and beyond any ability to pay off her debt even with her entirety of resources. If this should be accomplished it would be for the first time since the Presidency of Andrew Jackson, the only President to leave office with the United States debt-free. Even George Washington was unable to make that statement nor was Thomas Jefferson, another President who decried debt, and only the debt hating President Andrew Jackson who probably hated the debt beyond all other efforts he would accept as his challenge. The great day was January 8, 1835, when the debt was retired and Washington D.C. gathered with everyone who was anyone and celebrated this monumental accomplishment, a truly monumental accomplishment. One wonders if this can be accomplished ever again. One truly wonders.

Death of Democratic Republic

The United States was founded as a Constitutional Democratic Republic and according to John Adams, “We have no government, armed with power, capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge and licentiousness would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Another comment on how a Constitutional Democratic Republic can be brought low came from Benjamin Franklin, who predicted, “When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” But it is not completely the people’s selfishness that is sinking the United States and that was predicted by Alexis de Tocqueville who added this adage to the above, “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” Anyone care to guess which of these three problems is driving the American experiment in self-rule into the ground fastest? Kings and Queens argued against giving power to their subjects claiming that humankind was completely incapable of self-rule as their own greed and indifference to consequences of their actions and their lack of training in governance would all lead to disastrous results if not immediately, guaranteed to do so over time. People, they claimed, would tend to destroy wealth in the name of equality and that there would never be sufficient wealth to satisfy the redistributors as they would continue to destroy all concentrations of wealth in their mistaken proposals and programs meant to introduce fairness and equality until those who generated wealth were no longer sufficiently financially capable of investment and thus unable to continue to produce wealth for those pursuing fairness to steal.

The problems faced currently are that the government absorbed one means after another which had formerly been the purview of religious and charitable institutions. This led to two immediate results; the government was required to demean and spread suspicions that religious institutions and charities were incapable of fairness and that they were too steeped in religion to provide assistance without guilt. They made the claim that the poor need not listen to a sermon in order to receive a meal. Then came the claims that many religious institutions and charitable organizations were possibly providing substandard nutrition or preparing their meals in unsafe manner in potentially unclean environment and might spread diseases or serve contaminated food. This then led to the establishment of regulations and inspections and requirements of reports including the calorie, vitamin, fat content and immeasurable other breakdown of the meals provided to such a point that churches and charities simply gave in to government pressure surrendering their position as the provider of aid to the poor to the government as they could not continue against the power of government regulatory powers. The same occurred with providing shelter for the homeless and many other such assistances which slowly but inexorably became government programs. Food Stamps, Government Provided Shelters, Welfare, Section 8 Housing and on and on program after program and government had complete control over what had been privately provided charity which was financed through religious institutions and donations from people willing to provide funds for these causes. Now the funding comes from taxation which means that government has replaced voluntary donations with forced donations. Some have referred to this as the government playing Robin Hood taking from the rich and giving to the poor. That gets Robin Hood completely wrong as he stole from the government and returned the funds to the public from which it was taken (stolen according to Robin). The Sheriff of Nottingham and the King were not the rich, they were the government and the peasants were not only the poor but also the people who the King and Sheriff of Nottingham taxed (stole) the money (gold and silver) from and thus Robin Hood stole from the government and returned to the tax payers. Today the government is literally taking from the rich and giving to the poor through taxing the rich and returning that treasure to the poor who did not pay taxes thus it is completely not Robin Hood-like but completely separate.

Hunting Your Uncle Sam’s Deer Are We?

Hunting Your Uncle Sam’s Deer Are We?

But there is another form of gifting public treasure which is far more evil than all the previously mentioned programs and which does not actually benefit the people and is almost always left out of demands for ending government funding. This is most often referred to as corporate welfare. Government gives away many millions, no, wait, certainly billions of dollars, to numerous companies often for questionable reasons. On the web corporate welfare is defined as bestowal of money grants, tax breaks, or other special favorable treatment for corporations. This often ends up becoming taking money from the people, including those who compared to these corporations and companies are the poor, and giving to the corporations or the rich in some means. According to Cheat Sheet the eight largest recipients in ascending order are, Nike @ $2.03 Billion, Royal Dutch Shell @ $2.04 Billion, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles @ $2.06 Billion, Ford @ $2.52 Billion, General Motors @ $3.58 Billion, Intel @ $3.87 Billion, Alcoa @ $5.64 Billion and Boeing @ $13.18 Billion. Well, we can understand the General Motors as so many now refer to GM as Government Motors and apparently we can say the same for the rest of the Big Three auto motive companies from the United States. Now if one were to challenge the government, or your local Congress Critter, about these subsidies of such companies and their response would be that they are essential for the national defense, they are required in order for them to compete with companies from other nations who subsidize their industries or they might simply stutter and sputter and call on the next questioner.

Another area where government largess is generously spread around is in the agricultural endeavors. Farms are actually paid to raise dairy cows because before refrigeration there was the need for dairy cows to be raised throughout the United States in order for dairy products to be available in every location. But with the wonders of refrigeration, these subsidies are superfluous as now dairy products could easily be transported from the dairy states to those where such farms are economically impractical due to lack of water, grass and the other requirements necessary for raising healthy dairy cows. There are also subsidies to farms growing corn and since these have climbed to near astronomical proportions as the ethanol industry demands more corn, the acreage of wheat production has plummeted while corn has replaced wheat in many areas. This has created two problems beyond potential wheat shortages worldwide, as raising corn requires additional nutrients and more water, the demand for irrigation waters is lowering the water tables at an increased rate and runoff of fertilizer has increased causing difficulties in many river runoff areas, especially places of slower moving or stationary water as this runoff leads to poisoned fish and over growth of algae and other plants in rivers and especially lakes. Further, farms are often paid not to raise certain crops or raise certain animals in order to allow food prices to remain substantial enough for farming to show a profit. These programs end up assisting the industrial farms to a far greater degree than the family farmers they were proposed to assist. Again, the reason for these programs has been to continue to make farming profitable rather than having the rules of supply and demand to control what farmers grow.

There is an example of supply and demand working its magic in eastern Colorado where many farmers with some of the best topsoil grow sugar beets for a simple reason, if their crop of sugar beets is of high enough quality they will catch top dollar from the Coors brewing company to use in their production of Coors beer. The land is quite capable of growing other crops but not one which can bring such a high price as Coors offers the incentive for such quality sugar beets in order to assure themselves a ready supply locally of the requirements for their product. As for the grains for their beer, well, they are located quite near great fields of grains within a short distance including in Colorado wherever the soil is not rich enough to grow high quality sugar beets of which there is ample acreage. Still, was government not to provide these subsidies there would be some disquieting periods of economic upheaval after which there would be fewer companies in many industries and the healthiest and most efficient companies would survive? Perhaps there are a relative few companies which were necessary for military readiness but in the modern era there are very few companies who are purely reliant on military spending to survive as the demands of the private sector now has requirements of ships, aircraft and even automotive who can change some production to produce military products such as armored vehicles. Further, military production is now done on a very sparse demand with rare but occasional high demand when replacing longstanding equipment. For these demands one would likely find entrepreneurs more than willing to make bids and then invest in the necessary production facilities to produce armored vehicles while ships and aircraft already have ready manufacturers. But if such an argument could be proven to have merit, then perhaps some outlay might be called for.

The problem is that with corporations, people, even NGO’s all making demands on government claiming that they require the government largess, their service is worthy of government largess, or some claim is found which demands government funding combined with the elected representatives use government funds in order to buy the faithful votes of a particular constituency by warning that other political challengers would cut or end the flow of money, food stamps, housing allowances, utility payments, free stuff and so on thus buying support to keep them in office. Because the people lost their faith in religious institutions as the government spent much time, funds, advertising and editorials in parallel with increased regulations matching the claimed weakness of religious institutions and charities allowing the government to incrementally replace them in caring for the less fortunate.

Then they quietly over time subsidized corporations initially claiming their necessity for the defense of the country in times of war and subsequently simply arguing that the companies or corporations were necessary economically and without the “temporary” assistance, nothing ends up being temporary as once the money is outlaid it is never retracted, these companies would potentially go out of business putting some unacceptable number of employees out of work. What is really being protected is a company which is not sufficiently competitive and if allowed to go out of business it would soon be replaced by somebody with a better idea or a better means for production or something making them competitive. It might be argued that the national security requires at a minimum one company in every vital industry for the possible future protection of the nation. Where this argument hits a snag was the steel industry which almost went completely out of business as their production equipment and processes became outdated. The entire industry faced this challenge and some companies went out of business and others retooled and became modernized allowing them to return stronger than before. Some of the retooling received government assistance but this once it was a one-time outlay and not a continuous flow of revenue. Should these outlays continue the government will continue to spend more than it can possibly collect which will forever add to the deficit which will eventually cause hyperinflation which will end the time of the United States as a super power? If the government attempts to collect sufficient tax revenues to allow these payments to continue at current levels, then the entire financial system would collapse as eventually those who were being more heavily taxed would find working a fool’s game and simply join those on the dole.

The other choice would be to scale back payments or start terminating programs allowing those currently on support to have their funds slowly lessened eventually being terminated in some predefined period of time. Another option would be to ramp back until the payments were completely terminated on the subsidizing corporations and companies and even farming, especially the large corporate farming conglomerates. Finally, the government should deregulate the assistance from charities and religious institutions allowing them to return to what they had so adequately provided before being driven from assisting people in need. Such a return to the religious institutions serving the public and their communities and taking a greater role in their communities and the nation the United States could potentially find some returning to their religious affiliations simply because as active members in their societies, they would become relevant again. The removal of religious institutions from their community functions and relevance might have been a contributing factor to the loss of faith in the nation as a whole. Humankind is a funny animal in that he does not conscience things which serve no real purpose and religion had always been the caretaker of the needy in the United States. When government removed this function from the religious institutions and took away their function as adoption services, they made religion superfluous as government had replaced it. Without government returning valuable functions to religious institutions and private charities, then these functions will become solely the province of government and government will become the new religion, which was their intent.

Once this has been established irrevocably, which it has all but become, then they will work on replacing the only item not completely under their purview, parenting and raising children. The public schools are already making inroads on the parent-child relationship. In too many cities (one would be too many but in too many cites it is already occurring) it is being usurped by the schools. Many will claim we are being alarmist but we have witnessed this ourselves as have friends where the school teachers were telling their students that their parents were not permitted to punish them, ground them, deny them their rights to telephone usage, television viewing, listening to music, watching particular programs, going out with their friends and numerous other actions, then they should tell their teachers and the school would look into if this was proper and take their side against the parents. They were told that it might result in criminal charges if their parents did not do as the school would advise. The best resort of any parent facing this would be to explain to their child what it would be like in foster care or in an orphanage if Mom and Dad were forced to give them up because they went to the school claiming that their parents were being cruel and denying them rights. Explain what a right is and what is a privilege and the difference and then review the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and ask them where telephone use was a right. When they are unable to prove whatever grounding you are imposing is denial of a right, then explain that privileges can be revoked for improper acts and that is what you are doing.

One sad thing we must all understand is that in time populations will be controlled and even then the majority of people will be kept simply because work will have become an optional pursuit. Anything one does will earn a salary with a living wage guaranteed as long as you were to contributing in some manner, writing a blog, writing poetry, composing songs, performing music, performing comedy, acting out dramas, researching mathematics, teaching, inventing, growing grapes, brewing or whatever one desired. Of course if your desire is to go from one party to another, then you make the living wage. Perhaps we will all receive a credit card where there are different levels by color and your living standard is determined by which card you receive which would also be determined by a formula we would all know. Then there would be another choice where one applies and if accepted are sent on multi-generational spaceships out into the cosmos in some new direction or in a direction where we have received communications telling of planets capable of supporting life. This world will be the life of our children or grandchildren when artificial intelligence (AI) govern the planet, robots perform almost all job functions as they replace humans in production, retail, food service and everything else while AI robots perform prototyping, engineering, manufacturing, production facility construction, building construction, residential construction and every job with very few exceptions.

Aristotle, Euclid, Descartes Newton, Riemann, Einstein

Aristotle, Euclid, Descartes
Newton, Riemann, Einstein

Humans would still work in some fields alongside the AI systems such as theoretical sciences and hard science research as no matter how intelligent the AI systems and robots become, there is one thing which will take far more advances than we can even begin to understand, and that is an AI which has the ability to imagine, to invent things which have no logical lead-up which require illogical jumps of reason from which proofs can then be derived but only by reverse proofs. The great discoveries of history which we take for granted today were completely beyond reason such as Einstein’s theories, Riemann’s geometry, Newtonian physics, Descartes’s “Cogito ergo sum”, Euclidean Geometry and Aristotle’s philosophies and logic. AI systems may some day get to such a level as to make great leaps in thought which are independent of straight logic, but for the time being we humans are the only ones who imagine on such a scale. That is a far future, in the meantime, in order to get there we need to repair the problems of now and do so with a great urgency.

The Fascist Playbook is Being Repeated Now

There is a reason why the modern education system no longer teaches Civics or History and the classes they teach in these areas are tainted and deceitful. They decry the Founding Father of the United States as slave-owning white-privileged oppressive supremacists. They teach that the Constitution is not specific in its wording and must be interpreted for the modern age because they could not have imagined telephones and cars and jet planes and modernity. The Constitution is outdated and must be replaced with modern ideas. These ideas are the liberal playbook with the rules which are now ruling many universities. Ask students in many universities about the First Amendment and its guarantee of freedom of speech and you will hear that free speech is outdated and needs to be limited as much speech needs to be banned as some thoughts need to be silenced and no longer permitted. As the indoctrination system continues to replace education the rest of the Constitutional rights stipulated in the Bill of Rights will be eroded until they will disappear totally from the codes within the American culture. But the reasons go deeper as without knowledge about the true history and the processes used by previous totalitarian takeovers, it allows the opening for it to be repeated yet again. George Santayana was dead on correct when he stated that, “Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

What history is the United States heading towards at a breakneck speed has struck many places before throughout human history. The technique has been utilized repeatedly and the first signs are already appearing. The initial step is for small bands of the party which is seeking permanent power to foment distrust and the legitimacy of the governing system. They claim that elections are tainted and that the current office holders fixed or tampered with the election often by using outside assistance from a perceived enemy power. This is followed by violent demonstrations which begin as localized often in areas controlled by those seeking to realize permanent power. The protests continue and soon become an expected and almost routine occurrence mostly in the largest cities. The authorities tend to allow the protests and allow some degree of violence which unfortunately is permitted. The criticism of the leader, the president, monarch, prime minister, any elected or appointed leader simply to denigrate respect for the ruling government is one of the main tactics utilized for overturning a government. Claims will be continued that the elections were rigged and there will be calls for a new election or simply the placing of a new appointed leader. The protests will grow and the attacks on the government will grow more and more pointed in the media controlled by the subversive elements. They will demand their rights while silencing all opposition. Much of the original demonstrations and violence will emanate from the Universities where the administrators and professors will be seen to stoke the emotions and lead the students to believing they are rescuing the nation from interlopers. This will continue to grow and soon the violence will become far more disruptive. This is when the escalation will become serious and those who have been planning the coup will start the real disruptive behavior even to the point of disrupting life for regular people who have nothing to do with the protests or the government and are just trying to get on with their lives.

Trump Demonizing Editorial Cartoon

Trump Demonizing Editorial Cartoon

The protests get to the point where people can no longer live their lives or the government needs to crack down and this brings forth accusations that the government is oppressing the people and must be replaced. There will be increasing attempts at disruption and the masses of protesters will become more difficult and violent sending raiding parties armed to fight when a new group will arise from the opposition of the ruling party promising they can end the rioting and demonstrations if only they are granted their rightful place as leaders of the government. They propose a new governance where they are granted extrajudicial powers and absolute power. These will be the leaders of the protests but will have remained removed from the protests and far from the violence. The people will be desperate and will demand new elections and will give this interloper and their core group the powers they demand. They will then turn on their own protesters, especially the rioters as they are considered expendable and actually now a danger to their maintaining power. They will send shock troops out and those who lead the rioting will be killed as will many of their followers and once this purge has been completed there is a new government and elections are a thing of the past. The new government is all about order and ridding the people of those who were truly responsible for the revolution which they saved the people from. The problem is it was their revolution from the start and it was executed just to give them power. This brought Generalissimo Francisco Franco to power, Benito Mussolini to power, Adolph Hitler to power and was how Lenin took power and Stalin after him. This has been the playbook of the fascists throughout history and it will be no different today because the youth they will use to take power never learned from the history they were never taught. The warning signs are all there but there are so few who will see them and those who will are those old people who are so stupid and from back then in the evil times and know nothing. That is how they will be excused and there is a distinct possibility that the older people will be rounded up and placed where they can be taken care of by the new government for their own safety.

There will be another casualty this time just as it has always been. The Communists despised these people. The Nazis despised these people. This has been the target for elimination by every totalitarian system since Rome. These people have survived despite near constant persecution and have gained a strong ally in the past few centuries. The originating principles came from Judaism and were preached in early Christianity before Christianity was politicized. Rome took Christianity and for almost fifteen-hundred years the Church was used as a weapon against the people. The Church lorded over the people often warring with Kings for power. The scientific revolution and industrial revolution brought new ideas of empowerment for the people initially out of England then Europe and finally making a permanent statement in the United States. Christianity reluctantly accepted a separation between the Church and political power. The unfortunate thing and the central problem is there are still those who seek ultimate and complete power and wish to subjugate their fellow people. Those seeking such power believe they know what is right and what is wrong and only they have the true understanding and thus must be placed over the rest of humanity. They also cannot allow for the Judeo-Christian ethos which believes in the nobleness of humanity and that people should have the power over their own lives to survive as it poses a direct threat to their power. This is the reason they do not believe in freedom of speech and they will not allow for religion as it is understood in the developed world because religion believes and promotes the moral character with respect for the other and for the rights of all. The fascist only believe in their superiority and their all-knowing ideas of what constitutes a perfect society. For them a perfect society is relegated to a strict set of rules which are absolutes and are enforced almost with a viciousness which is highly oppressive. Once these people take power the media is totally censored and controlled, all information comes directly from a central source and the people are watched with suspicion that they will turn at a moment’s opportunity. The reality is that eventually the people will turn and freedom will return, just not for at least two or three generations.

Tytler Cycle of Power in Governance

Tytler Cycle of Power in Governance

Above is what is known as the “Tytler Cycle of Power in Governance” which was originated by Scottish historian Alexander Tytler who studied the rise and fall of freedom and its subsequent loss. Reading the cycle from any one point the sequence appears to make some sense. The problem is many people feel that this cycle can be broken and that in a modern society there is no way that freedom can be erased as the people would never stand for such. They would never vote in any people who promised to subjugate them. They are correct but what if the situation calls for the return of social order and a return to what they are promised is life as they knew it. The situation is as described above where societal order has been completely disrupted by subversive forces similarly to what is occurring on college campuses and certain large cities but in a far more generalized and systemized equation of violence. Then some respected political figure which the people recognize and trust, say former President Clinton or former President Obama or even someone like “name your favorite progressive political figure” takes the lead enacting Marshal Law and that is the end of freedom. Even if this candidate does not intend to imperil the freedoms of the people, there will be one who follows along soon thereafter who will subjugate the public. This might even come about through assassinating the initial public figure who really did intend to return the governance to the Constitution or whatever system was temporarily interrupted while public order was restored. The subsequent capture and very public move towards a trial will have the media blaming those who were the supporters of the former leader who was replaced to bring order. Of course the actual assassin was from the side of those taking power and never planning on returning the power to the people and they will have a second assassin who will murder the person who murdered their initial ruler. This will remove any possibility of questions being sought and answered and the truth coming out revealing the entire façade being used to steal the governance and oppress the people. This second assassin will also be suicidal and will kill themselves thus tying up all the loose ends and should they not commit suicide, well, they could always die in a shootout when they were being captured. That scenario can come about whether they are shooting or not as who is going to doubt the police when the media fully backs their version of events. Watch events and be afraid. Is the loss of freedom inevitable? We cannot truthfully answer that but history shows a very poor track record. Remember that Rome was initially a republic where the citizens voted and after the assassination of Caesar it all came to an abrupt halt and every following leader declared themselves to be Caesar, interesting. After World War I Germany was initially ruled by the Wiemar Republic, that is before it fell to the Nazis in much the steps reviewed above. To fully understand the Tytler Cycle of Power in Governance one must study history, lots of history, just as had Alexander Tytler. We never said it would be fun. Still, it will not hopefully happen soon unless the people become even more complacent and apathetic. After all, not everyone is dependent, but that is not actually required and the United States has its full share of bread and circuses, like Super Bowl anyone?
