It Starts Once Again by Turtle Bay

It starts initially by Turtle Bay but in never stays there. Turtle Bay is where the launch gets announced but sometimes it is so hard to tell as the other instigations pop up blooming like tulips in the spring except these tulips have a deceptive scent that masks the first lies wrapped up in its soft petals, and lies is what is peddled. They sprout around Big Ben where Piccadilly Circus goes round and round. They tower with the Eiffel at the end of the Champs Elysées. They adorn an Arch of Titus beneath the great Colosseum. Eventually they explode onto the stage of the European Union Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium from where they fill the news world-wide gaining echoes about the presumed perfidy and deceits that Israel has used to avoid making a reasonable peace through honest negotiations. This year’s marketed Israeli unforgivable sin being paraded around the world is the misnamed “settlements” Israel had built presumably against International Law. When Israel ceased any and all building for ten months at the behest of President Obama early in his first year in the White House, it took Mahmoud Abbas nearly none of those ten months to do anything more than appear for eight minutes, forty five and two thirds seconds, give or take ten minutes, until arriving to negotiate the way only the Palestinian Authority can negotiate, namely demanding that Israel continue the building freeze indefinitely until the Palestinians accepted a peace with Israel, something they have yet to define outside of their propaganda dispensed constantly to their own people and the Israeli Arabs who tune into Palestinian Authority media including television and radio as well as Internet and social media where they promise the only peace they will accept is the liberation of all of Palestine from the river to the sea, meaning replacing Israel and pushing the Jews into the sea. You see, the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Iran along with Hezballah and even Islamic State do not honestly desire the State of Palestine even if it has its Capital City in East Jerusalem and complete control over the Temple Mount; all of this has been offered and refused because what they actually want and will accept no less is the complete destruction of the Jewish State of Israel and its Jews and Christians slaughtered in a genocidal outpouring of blood in the streets coloring them red.

There will be a world with the European Union in the lead and the leftist governments of Europe and beyond, both new and old, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and the rest, all coordinated and amplified through numerous European NGOs, especially the NGOs paid for in part or wholly by European governments but licensed in Israel for maximum effect appearing to represent Israelis against their elected government all quoted to maximum effect by all the usual suspects both in print and on the Internet followed by debates in the General Assembly and a condemnation of Israel for violating the rights of the Arab Palestinians for some presumed international criminal neglect such as their not having elections since before 2005 as they could never have been cancelled by Mahmoud Abbas and the Fatah leadership in order to avoid losing their positions to Hamas challengers as was the actual reason, but why blame Abbas when Israel can be tainted. The new French leftist government has already threatened to recognize a Palestinian Arab state if talks are not resumed. This will work wonderfully as now all Abbas has to do is continue to refuse to resume the talks until the French recognize Palestine and soon to be followed by the new leftist government in Canada as they could never allow France to surpass them followed by Germany’s Angela Merkel seeking a distraction from immigrant purgatory. The eventual target of this entire orchestrated use Israel for a Piñata party is a Chapter VII Enforceable Resolution from the Security Council timed for effect for the opening ceremonies of the General Assembly later this year where the drumroll will likely be set up in early summer with additional hearings about the “settlements” and resolutions passed condemning Israel and restating the falsehood that these Israeli communities are illegal. Then during the opening ceremonies of the General Assembly will follow an address by Mahmoud Abbas pleading for the United Nations to remove the Jewish infestation which is encroaching on the Palestinian holy and historic lands and the Jewish desecrations of the al-Aqsa Mosque and their denial of Palestinians rights to freely practice their religion and pray at their holiest of religious sites on the Temple Mount. There will be General Assembly Resolutions passed which have absolutely no enforcement value but will be used for the maximum political value while the most damning being moved to the Security Council with urgent demanding pleadings that Israel must be curbed and forced to bend to the will and desires of the Palestinians so they may establish their state as they envision their ideal state which has been denied them since the beginning of time, before recorded history, predating the Bible, predating the Pyramids, the Sphynx, Stonehenge or even the onset of human existence.

This has been the operating metric for the past decade and it has almost always ended the same, with the world screaming for blood if Israel does not make some concrete concessions to permit greater Arab Palestinian freedoms and surrender even more lands. This has been how the expectations have altered to the point that the careful wording put in place by the Security Council after the June, 1967 Six Day War took six months of serious debate worded Resolution 242 with great care and intentionally made it a Chapter VI nonbinding resolution which only required Israel to surrender land, not the lands, not all lands, simply land which they had met by returning the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt when they made a peace agreement. Later, when the peace agreement was made with Jordan, the Jordanians relinquished their claims to the lands they had occupied, the real occupied lands were when Jordan held much of Judea and Samaria along with half of Jerusalem, returning the lands west of the Jordan River which were meant for the Jewish State since the San Remo Conference, the Treaty of Sèvres, the British Mandate and Article 80 of the United Nations Charter, but why allow International Law to interfere with attempts to destroy the only Jewish State simply to harm Jews and make them once again one of the few peoples denied a homeland. For what happens to peoples who have no homeland one need look no further than the current near impossible situation the Kurds are currently facing as they have their population broken spread amongst four nations, Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria and assisting one another is near impossible as they often need the permission from hostile government in order to assist one another. One can look at the history of the Armenians and their relations with the Ottoman Empire or simply look at the history of the Jews throughout the last two millennia which culminated through the Inquisition on through the Holocaust; something some Islamic forces wish to emulate a second time which is why Israel is so vital for the continued existence of the Jewish People.

While the Palestinian spokespeople, supporters, NGOs, leaders of nations, European Union elites and President Obama who is completely unfettered to unleash his worst and greatest damage over and above what he has already accomplished in his first seven years. The initial signs are that Israel may have lost their usual protector as it appears President Obama has already decided that when his next turn arrives to give the Palestinian Authority everything in their wildest imagination and maximalist demands but perhaps before the world sides with those whose intents are the destruction of Israel and the annihilation of every Jew on the planet, perhaps forcing the Palestinian leadership to define what exactly they are willing to accept and end all terrorism, incitement and at long last accept a peace with Israel and start the next period in the history of the two people living with respect, peace and mutual advantage and then perhaps progress could begin to heal the problems of the past decades. Perhaps that might be the secret to unraveling the reasons behind the lack of any ability over the past twenty plus years to reach even a semblance of progress since the initial signing of the Oslo Accords. The problem may not be on the Israel side as there have been offerings of peace numerous times during those years where Israel proposed and the Palestinian Authority leadership simply broke off negotiations without even a reply or a counter proposal, just turned their backs and walked out of negotiations. Israel gave up all of the Gaza Strip and the end result was a Hamas takeover and a raining of rockets onto Israeli civilians leading to a number of costly wars and difficult situation imposed upon the Arabs residing in Gaza as Hamas uses tactics which maximizes their hardships. The claim that Gaza is overcrowded to the point of leaving them no other choice runs in direct conflict with their claim that the Gaza farmers have difficulty in selling their wares in Europe and Jordan without any seaport. How a seaport would assist selling their wares in Jordan escapes us as Jordan has no port except the one they share with Eilat in southern Israel which is more readily reached by land. The Gaza disaster leaves Israel leery of any treaty which would also permit Hamas to take power in any lands granted to the Palestinian Authority just as occurred in Gaza. Still, it is well past time that the Palestinians give names to their demands relating exactly what Israel would need sacrifice for real and lasting peace. Any deal must leave the refugees to be settled throughout the lands where they currently are housed in reports which would only require the removal of the barbed wire fences and allow them to have rights or have them resettled in the Arab lands which will make up the Palestinian state. There must also be a guarantee which is observable and enforceable end to all terror attacks, instigation, the teaching that Israel must be destroyed in order for there to be peace and that the Jews are the decedents of apes and pigs. We are aware that such demands are too much to ask in any deal. But unless the Palestinians at long last state their idea of a settlement which is more descriptive than their past contributions which can be described with a single word which had been the closest they have come often given immediately before walking out, that word is “No” as has been their sole contribution thus far. Concessions should be withheld until the Palestinian Leadership defines exactly what they expect and we hope it is not the same answer the alien gave in the movie Independence Day when it was asked what they wanted from the peoples of planet Earth and the reply was, “Die.”

The original petition for United Nations Security Council to intervene and grant Mahmoud Abbas his own fiefdom cut from the body of the Jewish state, guaranteed under issuance fully backed by the League of Nations and spelled out through the determinations of the San Remo Conference where it was established as inviolate and recognized and rededicated under Article 80 of the United Nations Charter, was lacking the ruse of at least making mention of further attempts to reach a mutual resolution through direct negotiations with Israel. What the Western nations plus Japan realize is that they are obligated to guarantee all the lands from the Jordan River west to the Mediterranean Sea as reserved in perpetuity for the formation of the Jewish state and that the lands east of the Jordan River to the border with Iraq, the land by mutual agreement with the early Zionists, was reserved for the Arabs of the region. This resolution of the partition of the lands resulted in a number of Jews surrendering their lands and moving their residence west of the Jordan River yet somehow the Arabs living west of the Jordan River were never required to move east of the Jordan River but did require those who desired to remain to realize they would be living in a state which was to be governed by the Zionists, the Jews. The agreements put in place did not allow for Jews to remain under the areas ruled by Jordan east of the Jordan River but permitted and guaranteed the Arabs living west of the Jordan River to continue to have freedom of religion and the rights to own land and reside on that land but it reserved political powers to the Jews and those who the Jews desired to grant political power. This was most evident at the outset of the state of Israel where the Arab population outnumbered the Jewish population but the government was recognized despite it consisting of largely Jews as that was the Jewish Zionists utilizing their guarantee as the sole purveyors of political powers. With time the Israelis recognized and granted the Arabs living within their borders under the armistice which ended what is often recorded as the Israeli War of Independence but in reality was the first genocidal war to rid the lands west of the Jordan River of its Jewish abomination as viewed by the Arab League who had refused a suggested patrician which was nonbinding as it was passed by the General Assembly, thus as soon as the Arab League refused that suggestion it became voided. That voiding of that nonbinding resolution forever negated any Arab claim to lands west of the Jordan River without Israeli recognition and permission which is the main reason that the resolution of any Arab claim to the lands west of the Jordan River must be resolved through negotiations with Israel. Unless Israel grants such lands for Arab rule, the lands west of the Jordan River remain under Israeli jurisdiction and only those permitted political rights may participate in elections for the ruling body over these lands, the Knesset.

It was in recognition of this reality that the new resolution was adopted and replaced their initial petition. The original petition by Abbas and the Arab League demanded that the United Nations Security Council negate the promises under Article 80 of the United Nations Charter and grant them by fiat the lands they claim which were the lands illegally occupied by Jordan and Egypt after their unsuccessful attempt to annihilate the Jewish state immediately after its declaration of independence. In that effort to wrest control of the lands legally reserved for the Jewish state there were troops dedicated from the armies of seven Arab nations plus a number of militias some of which were directly under the command of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini. The Armistice of 1949 left lands of Gaza in Egyptian hands and the lands of Judea and Samaria in the hands of Jordan. Egypt never attempted control over the lands in Gaza but Jordan did attempt to annex the lands it held west of the Jordan River renaming Judea and Samaria as the West Bank in an unveiled attempt to erase their Jewish roots. This annexation of these lands resulted in the granting of citizenship to the population remaining after the Jewish population which survived the massacres in the lands held by the Arab forces to surrender their properties and resettle within the areas under Israeli rule. The annexation of the renamed Judea and Samaria (West Bank) was not accepted by the nations of the world, not even the Arab and Muslim nations, and was granted recognition solely by Britain and Pakistan. The Arab League went as far as to insist that the borders at the end of the warring in 1949 be granted title of Armistice Lines and was never to be used as borders for any state nor were they to be recognized as permanent but was a temporary denotation until a final resolution could be reached. What they left unsaid was that they considered the Armistice of 1949 to be a Hudna, a temporary truce until such time as the Islamic forces believe themselves sufficiently robust so as to complete the intentions of the original conflict, in this case the eradication of Israel.

The point where the forces of Islam, in this case the United Arab Republic (UAR), which constituted Egypt and Syria, in June of 1967 when Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran, a casus belli to war under the Suez Treaty of 1956, and both Egypt and Syria massed troops on the southern and northern borders of Israel respectively were the initial starting borders of the Six Day War. Once the fighting had commenced both the Egyptian and Syrian radio and television broadcasts were reporting great advances and victories for their troops against the presumably ill-equipped and timid Jewish troops of Israel. Upon hearing of these feats and accomplishments, the King of Jordan decided he would take the opportunity of assisting in the final conquest of Israel with his Arab allies. The Israelis beseeched King Abdullah informing him that the Syrian and Egyptian broadcasts were untrue but he chose to believe the Egyptians and Syrians and saw the Israeli behests as further proof they were weak and being overrun. The result was that Jordan also lost lands in that war as Egypt lost Gaza and the entire Sinai Peninsula and Syria the Golan Heights and some lands beyond reaching towards Damascus. The conclusion of battle left Israel in control of the Golan Heights from Syria, having retreated from the lands past that point considering them to be not offering a defendable advantage such as what was offered by the heights; the Gaza and Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, all the way to the Suez Canal; and all of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) from Jordan, all the way to the Jordan River reestablishing the proper and guaranteed border as delineated in every treaty concerning these lands. Israel annexed the eastern sections of Jerusalem originally held illegally by Jordan, gained in an offensive war in 1948-9. Israel also annexed the Golan Heights under the provisions that Israel be permitted to retain those lands sufficient and tactically vital to establish defendable borders. Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt as part of their peace treaty returning Israel to their formerly recognized borders with Egypt. There are those within Israel who desired that Israel retain at a minimum half of the Sinai Peninsula establishing her border to be drawn down the mountain range in the central Sinai Peninsula as these also offered a defendable position if Israel was not planning on retaining the Suez Canal as her border. This position was overruled by the majority of the government and accepted their decision. The United Nations decision ending the Six Day War demanded that Israel return lands, not all lands but simply lands without any qualifiers allowing Israel to establish secure borders. Once Israel had returned the Sinai Peninsula, an area of land many times the size of Israel itself, the Israeli obligation had been technically satisfied and there was no actual problem when after the peace with Jordan, where Jordan released claims to their so-called West Bank, that Israel retain the lands of Judea and Samaria and recognize the Jordan River as the new border for Israel fulfilling the original treaties which recognize and are intended to enforce the acknowledgment of the San Remo Conference as well as the League of Nations adoption of that Conference thus making it enforceable by Article 80 of the United Nations Charter and established international law.

The sole difficulty with such an arrangement was that as some Jordanians had moved and now resided in these areas and there was the problem of where the refugees who had mostly fled before the start of the 1948-9 war by the Arab forces to annihilate the nascent state of Israel, all of which had been relegated to refugee camps where their Arab brothers corralled them and encircled them with fences, some even including barbed and concertina wire barricades, denying them the right to reside and own land, work, gain citizenship, or even visit with family outside their restrictive camps for fear they might not return. These captives are the refugees which Arafat once claimed as his dear brothers held in camps by the Jews despite the camps not being within Israel but in Arab controlled areas and held in camps by Arab security forces while the Arabs residing within Israel after the Armistice was declared in 1949 due to the fact that they remained throughout the conflict not posing any threat to the Israelis, some even fighting with the Israelis in that desperate struggle which the Israelis survived by the grace of G0d, being granted Israeli citizenship with all the rights and privileges that engendered, and the same Arabs Abbas claims need to be rejoined with their proper lands within Israel, always amazed me that none of these Arab brothers of Abbas and formerly Arafat resided in Judea and Samaria but all resided with some claimed to have resided in Tel Aviv and even within places which were unoccupied at the time of their departure, largely at the behest of Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini who guaranteed them they would return and enjoy in the rewards of the Jewish treasure after they had been destroyed, and a lesser number were evicted largely as they posed a threat from within as they sided with the Arab forces attempting to destroy Israel. The refugees in modern times are the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and possibly some great great grandchildren and all have lived their entire lives in the refugee camps in Gaza City, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria (until recently when they were shelled and targeted by the Syria troops loyal to Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad), and inside Area A of Judea and Samaria which is under civil and security control of Abbas yet he continues to restrain his own claimed countrymen and countrywomen all so he can foist them on Israel to force an Arab majority on Israel in order to erase its Jewish character. What mutes such a plan is the guarantor of sole political rights and control and only property and religious rights to the Arab population within Israel by treaty, the Arabs which Abbas insists be placed within Israel are not automatically granted full political rights under international law that recognizes treaties. Israel is not legally under international law required to establish or surrender any of the lands of Judea and Samaria nor is Israel required to automatically grant full citizenship rights to the Palestinian Arabs but only required to grant them civil rights and religious rights guarantees and protections, not political rights. The Arabs living within Judea and Samaria who were granted citizenship by Jordan after they took illegal control over Judea and Samaria might have an opportunity to act on that promise if they relocated to Jordan but this would need to be ratified under international ruling as Jordan claimed to have repealed and annulled their citizenship though such may not be legally recognized.

The above is why Abbas altered the demand for United Nations Security Council to adopt a binding Chapter Seven Resolution using the full power of the United Nations and enforceable by their combined military might to force Israel to retreat back within the pre-Six Day War lines as denoted in the Armistice of 1949, which was declared to never be considered as a border by the Arab League, the same group which is declaring it now a border, by the end of November 2016 instead to read that negotiations are to be reinitiated and completed within twelve months of the ratification of the binding resolution and for the forced evacuation from all lands claimed by the Palestinian Arabs by no later than November 2017. This inclusion of terms demanding that a resolution be negotiated is a ruse as Abbas has no intention of actually reaching any peace agreement which would require that he promise that such an agreement ends the hostilities and that he recognize Israel as the Jewish state and homelands and that there be no further demands. Making such an agreement would require Abbas to relent on his promise to the Arab world and the Arabs who regard him as their President for life to replace Israel with the state of Palestine and force the Jews out of the lands by whatever means is most efficient. Even should Abbas ever reach such an agreement, he would be incapable of enforcing said agreement as he would be removed from his office either by elections, which is why he has avoided holding his office up for election suspending those very elections since 2006 when Hamas won the majority of seats in the Arab parliament, and if not lost through elections then lost as Abbas lost control of Gaza through insurrection. Thus, Israel can only make an agreement with Abbas with a proviso that Israel enforces the security over most of the lands of Judea and Samaria until such time as peace is assured and proper elections and the rule of law becomes guaranteed and self-enforced by the Arabs. This is a situation which has zero chance of coming to fruition as long as the schools are run by the Arabs and by the authority of Abbas and his position or under Hamas control as in any case these schools are utilized predominantly to educate the youth to jihad and the destruction of Israel and death of the Jews. Abbas has only included wording of further negotiations such that he can then demand that Israel accept his demands in their entirety as conditions for negotiations and then refuse to accept actual negotiations and blame Israel for refusing to negotiate under his demands for their complete surrender up front and leaving nothing to negotiate. Abbas also refuses to permit any Israeli position for consideration even to denying he will or could ever recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish People nor will he ever promise to end hostilities by which he means the terror wars that have been initiated by the Arab forces be they Fatah under Abbas or Hamas under Haniyeh or Mashaal. All the new resolution accomplishes is to put the date for the world to descend upon Israel back by one year adding the rouse of negotiations which Abbas will destroy by any means necessary. Abbas realizes that he has reached the intended target where Israel is now expected to surrender the entirety of Judea, Samaria and Eastern Jerusalem, the entirety of the lands gained from Jordan in the 1967 Six Day War contravening the spirit and the letter of the resolutions passed after that war by the United Nations, a very carefully worded agreement (Security Council Resolution 242 can be read here).

What the United Nations must do if they are to remain true to what they themselves set up as international law regarding the resolution of the Six Day War despite all the attempts by the Arab forces to renege and rescind that agreement. The United Nations individual members are all likely aware that the only settlement which will satisfy the bloodlust against Israel in general and the Jews in particular is the complete eradication of Israel wiping it from the map. This has been the mantra of Yasser Arafat and is the mantra currently of Mahmoud Abbas, of Fatah, of Ismail Haniyeh, of Khaled Mashaal, of Hamas, of Islamic Jihad, of al-Qaeda, of ISIS, of Iran, of Syria, of Turkey, of Hezballah and of numerous European and other nations and terrorist groups throughout the world. There is no denying this nor is there any doubt of this by any truthful person who has spent any time researching or living this situation. There are Israelis still blinded by the prospect of reaching a peace, or having a piece of paper to wave in the air and claim that the next invasion by Arab and Muslim armies such as ISIS, Iran, Hezballah (which rules Lebanon for all intents and purposes), even Turkey (despite the denials publically by Recep Tayyip Erdogan belying his statements spoken within his nations and amongst those he trusts) and probably nearly countless other nations, their leaders, their representatives, and even some within the Israeli parliament the Knesset such as Haneen Zoabi, Ahmad Tibi (who served as an advisor to Yasser Arafat and now sits in the Israeli Knesset) and likely others. Despite the grant words and erudite pronouncements flowing forth before the media adding great flourishments and embellishments making everything sound so plausible and acceptable but hidden within is a small kernel of truth left unmodified and stated with minimal emphasis in the hopes it will be lost in the hearing and reporting made public. These have proven to be the practices of the past but in the end the demands by Abbas for the United Nations to enforce his wildest fantasies of establishing a foothold on the way to replacing Israel with an Arab state will be denied and the only demand that will be issued is yet one more insistence that Israel and the Arabs reach an accord, a negotiated settlement. Even the rumored French plan to be submitted at some undisclosed future state will also result in a similar, if not identical, insistence that the two parties reach a negotiated settlement. The truth which remains unspoken is that by international law all of the lands west of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea are reserved for the Jewish state, for Israel. The leaders of the world are fully aware of their obligations under treaty to establish and enforce a Jewish state, Israel being that state, in those territories and unless Israel signs an agreement relinquishing her rightful claims to said lands, the rest of the world has two choices, enforce international law and demand that if any other entity is to be recognized in the space currently under Israeli control, that entity must gain the good graces by Israel granting them privileges in ruling over any part within those lands or taking the lands from Israel by force of arms, by conquest through warfare, a conflict which Abbas or Hamas would lose and they are fully aware of this fact or they would not be petitioning the United Nations, they would have taken the lands by force already. They are petitioning the United Nations to apply the force they themselves are incapable of producing to take the land forcefully. Should the United Nations ever agree to such an act it would mark the abrogation of everything the United Nations was established to protect, the rights and privilege of safe and protected borders free from the impingement by outside forces. It would mark the end of the United Nations even having the pretense of enforcing the rules of established international law under the treaty produced at the San Remo Conference.

Below I would love to present the welcome to the latest group of Jews rejoining their family here in Israel from the far reaches of India where the Bnei Menashe have practice their Judaism removed from us for approximately 2,700 years. It is with warmth and familial love that we welcome our brothers and sisters both young and old back into the fold. The video of their initial welcome at the airport is below or can be seen here.

United Nations Duplicity on Full View

The duplicity in the treatment Israel is subjected to by the United Nations was on display this week, though not particularly unusual to the norm at the world body. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon released a statement Wednesday condemning Israel’s announcement to build 1,500 new housing units in Jerusalem. The statement read, “Settlement activity is contrary to international law and constitutes an obstacle to peace. Any measures that prejudge final status issues will not be recognized by the international community.” Ban Ki-moon then released a second statement which expressed his personal approval and that he “understands that Israel took a difficult step in continuing to release Palestinian pre-Oslo prisoners in the face of deep domestic opposition, and appreciates this gesture.” Apparently Israel is to be commended for releasing terrorist murderers who have the blood of innocents on their hands but when Israel intends to build housing units in its Capital City of Jerusalem they are to be condemned as committing reprehensible acts. This comes in addition to the United Nations Human Rights Council’s persistent demands condemning any Israeli presence in Judea and Samaria and the silence of the United Nations responding to a complaint filed against Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas issuing a condolence letter to the family of Mohammed Assi, the terrorist who was responsible for a 2012 Tel Aviv bus bombing attack, who died earlier this week resulting from a shootout near a cave near Dolev in the western Binyamin region where he was holed up in an attempt to avoid capture.

The slow but steady disintegration of the original United Nations position on the lands either liberated or captured, depending on which areas under consideration, and their current position vis-à-vis the Palestinian claims to their presumed rights to all of the lands captured from Jordan during the Six Day War in June 1967 are completely contradictory. Read the original declaration in the United Nations Security Council Resolution 242 which states that Israel was to withdraw and return from most of the newly disputed territories and it makes clear that Israel does not have to return every inch of the disputed lands as they now claim. The United States and most of the other nations in the Security Council read this as allowing for Israel to retain some of the lands from their defensive war against Egypt, Syria and Jordan. When Israel made their peace with Egypt and returned the entirety of the Sinai Peninsula a few years after Israel having to fight a second defensive war in 1973 Yom Kippur War a plurality of nations including the United States viewed that as sufficient to meet the requirements set out in Resolution 242. Even those who would prefer that Israel be forced back to the borders which invited the initial attack in 1967 were willing to accept Israel retaining Judea and Samaria (West Bank) allowing Israel to retain these areas and have the Jordan River and the Jordan Valley as a natural defensive position allowing for a more secure border for Israel. This concept has been slowly eroded through heavy propaganda operations by the Arab nations and their allies. The greatest ploy was the invention of an indigenous Arab peoples, the Palestinians, who adapted the Jewish historical accounts from the Bible and invented a new history which denied the existence of any Jewish state ever throughout history in the Middle East and replaced the Jews with the so-called Palestinian people.

Today the world acts as if it was Israel who attacked all of her neighbors in 1967 and again in 1973 and that Israel not only is required by International Law to return the lands gained in an offensive war but that their denial of the Palestinians rights to much of the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. The truth is that under International Law a nation which is attacked and defeats their adversaries in a defensive war is entitled to retain all of the lands gained if they should as compensation for their having been the victimized nation and to inflict some form of punishment on the aggressor nations. International Law has been turned on its head in reference to Israel and the two defensive wars she has fought against her neighbors. The truth be told, the Israelis were entitled to retain the entire Sinai Peninsula. Furthermore, the Israelis have never fought a war with the Palestinians as they did not exist until after the wars were fought thus they have no valid claim to any of the lands. As former citizens of Jordan, one of the aggressor nations in the Six Day War, they are still entitled to reside in their homes but have no valid claim to citizenship in Israel or to establish their own independent nation or even semiautonomous lands within Israel. The sole right they have if they desire citizenship is to return to Jordan and exercise their rights as former Jordanian citizens. Of course this too has been twisted beyond any recognition and the Palestinians have been exalted as a bereaved and oppressed peoples whose lands were stolen from them in some conflict.

Nobody when challenged can name the conflict which occurred between Israel and a Palestinian nation. Nobody can even honestly tell of the existence anywhere than in some overly active imaginations the existence of a land called Palestine throughout history. But the United Nations does not allow little items such as facts, reality or even their own Security Council Resolutions stand in the way of their drive to destroy the Jewish state and wipe Israel from the pages of history and remove it from any future. Why Israel remains a member of the United Nations is somewhat puzzling as by retaining membership Israel allows the United Nations to have sway and influence over Israel’s future and daily life as well as her existence as a recognized nation. The unfortunate truth is eventually Israel will be challenged and dissolved by the United Nations when they vote to rescind the General Assembly declaration which allowed Israel to come into existence and suggested the Arabs also form a state alongside Israel. That would have given the not yet imagined Palestinian people their homeland without the need for wars or any other action but the Arab League refused such a proposition and instead attempted to destroy Israel on her first day of life. Fortunately they failed utterly and Israel almost doubled in size. After that defensive war Israel was permitted under International Law to retain the lands gained. Things worked and offensive wars lost had consequences. Eventually there will come the day that the United Nations will attempt to enforce their decree to erase Israel from the memory and the future of the world and there will be one last war pitting Israel against the rest of the world. The resulting consequences of this errant insult to all the conventions between civilized nations will surprise those who have not read the prophesies which have already seen this eventuality.
