Trump Deal of the Century to Die a Tormented Death

The very first reason that President Trump’s overly touted Deal of the Century will never fly is quite simple, the people crafting the plan. When you browse the names of those who have had access to the plan and were instrumental in its crafting, the problem becomes glaringly evident. These names are United States Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, Kushner’s aide Avi Berkowitz, Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt, four Jews. That’s racist some will scream. Actually and technically it is more anti-Semitic than racist though in this case it is also four white males, and as many have intimated, white males are at the bottom of the list of trustworthy people, all previous evidence to the contrary is to be considered irrelevant as they have enjoyed white privilege, male privilege and probably wealth privilege. None of these, other than the fact that they are Jews, will matter in the end.

Mahmoud Abbas has already refused the Deal of the Century without requiring knowing what is in the deal. The thing is, knowing his position on the ways of the world, whatever deal is presented is, under his standards and those of the Khartoum Resolution and the infamous three no’s; “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” The truth behind the Islamic and Arab position is easily understood, though most ignore this and insist on blaming Israel and the Jews for the impasse; which is their position that there must not be any Jewish State with Jews permitted to rule themselves. Their position is simply that Israel either is placed under Islamic rule or ceases to exist. The Islamic principles laid out in the Quran is that the Jews, as well as all others who are not Muslims, are inferior peoples or worse, infidels, and must be placed under the rule of their superiors, the Muslims. This is also their view of Europe, the United States and the remainder of the world they do not currently rule. Islam places the world into two camps, Dar al Islam and Dar al-Harb, the house of Islam and the House of War. In Islam the world consists of those who have been perfected by Islamic rule and those yet to be suppressed and conquered placing them under Islamic rule. Thus, any peace plan which leaves the Jews with self-rule under even a square millimeter of land is unacceptable. Thus, Israel must be placed under Islamic rule or the peace plan is unacceptable.

Of course, there are a couple of other little matters which have the Arabs in an uproar, though a quiet one thus far, which include but are not limited to the recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital city, the moving of the American embassy to Jerusalem, the recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and the general acceptance of the State of Israel, the Jewish State. As far as Mahmoud Abbas and the rest of the Islamic world are concerned are steps in the wrong direction. Their view is that the Golan Heights belong to Syria, if one can even find a Syria which is intact, and all of the lands between the Joran River and the Mediterranean Sea are part of an Islamic Waqf. This means that they must be placed under Islamic rule and the Jews reduced to being Dhimmi completely under Islamic rule and subject to their whims and desires which at any point in time could result in an order of convert to Islam or die. As far as Mahmoud Abbas is concerned, all of Israel must come under his rule with the Jews dependent upon his favors and at any point of his choosing, the Jews would face the same results as the Jews of Medina. This is exactly what Mahmoud Abbas, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezballah and almost countless other Islamic forces have in store for Israel and its Jews should they ever prove victorious in a war against Israel. It is also the only resolution to the present conflict which they will accept. Their entire worldview is based around Islamic supremacism, and when it comes to Israel, then their view that the Jews are some form of sub-human just makes Israel all the more an abomination in their eyes. All of this is explicitly state in the Quran, particularly the Medina Quran which is deemed as superior and replacing much of the Mecca Quran. For a brief introduction and numerous links for further study, please read our article Which Quran, Mecca or Medina? as an introduction to the actual Quran. These, amongst other reasons based within Islamic presumed supremacy over all other religions, governmental systems and all other social constructs, are behind the rejection of any peace where the Jews are permitted self-rule.

Abbas Gives Peace This Much of a Chance

Abbas Gives Peace This Much of a Chance

These are not the reasons behind why President Trump’s Deal of the Century will be rejected, these are the reasons why anything other than their own ideas of world conquest and dominance have destroyed all efforts previously and will continue to be the reason why all future peace proposals will be rejected by the Arabs and Mahmoud Abbas and whoever becomes his replacement and his replacement henceforth and forever. But, believe it or not, this is not an Israeli problem as we know with whom we are dealing, or at least most of our electorate know with whom we are dealing; this is a problem for the rest of the world beginning with Europe and bridging the ocean to the United States, as Islam has begun their final push to spread their poisonous ideology to the remainder of the world in their final push, their idea to define it as such, in their conquest as delineated in the Quran where they were promised to rule over all the lands known to Allah. Europe is just awakening to the threat within their borders and it only took Islam rising to take control over half their cities and their awakening is proving to have come too late. The United States still has time to realize the evil within her gates, but as the Democrats have apparently already succumbed to their Islamic infiltrators, things do not bode well.

Americans must awaken and realize that they are facing an Islamic invasion crafted long ago with the Hart-Celler Act which altered the targeted immigration from Europe to the Middle East, Northern Africa and the remainder of the Islamic world. Yes, it really began way back then and you can thank Teddy Kennedy for this wonderful idea to change the makeup of America. The fruits of his, and other politicians’, labors are just now starting to bear fruit. These politicians, in their finite wisdom, yes, finite, actually believe that if they were to back Islam in the unification of the planet through conquest, that they could then appropriate Islam altering it such that it represented their world view of universal rights for the LGBTQ rights, equal rights for women, universal healthcare and the rest of their socialist/communist agenda. What they fail to realize is that many of those in the leftist community would be the very first people rounded up and dealt with under Sharia and never given the opportunity to press for their agenda. Islam has not remained pure and in its original form it adopted in Medina for over a thousand years by not being true to their doctrine, it has remained in the mindset of world conquest and domination by strict adherence to the doctrines set as supreme under the filter adopted around 700 CE of abrogation. This is the problem the world, specifically the Western world, must realize while time still exists to react to this invasion.

Israel realizes this threat, or at least much of the voting public realize this threat and has voted accordingly. The problem every election is that Bibi a few hays before the election screams that if he does not receive all the right-wing votes, then another surrender first, left-wing government will take power. This has worked potentially for the last time. The Israeli electorate is waking to his games and this may finally begin to show a shift and others to finally take the helm. Time will tell and we will be here to try and make sense of it all and make that somewhat interesting. We hope everyone will join us for the trip.

The Jews Did Not Mold the Middle East

Since the conquest of Judea by the Babylonians, the Jews briefly were permitted self-rule as a province of the Persian Empire after their defeat of the Babylonian Empire. Just a historical footnote, years before these other empires rose with great clamor, there was a time when the Hebrews, the Jews, had an empire as well which reached from the Euphrates River to the Wadi of Egypt (not the Nile as many claim). This was the period of a Greater Israel and modern Jews and Israelis in general do not seek empire or a Greater Israel reaching the Euphrates, though the modern border between Israel and Egypt is very close to the location of the Wadi of Egypt (see map below). But that was the before anyone recorded history except for the Egyptians and a Jewish Empire was never to be celebrated, only made into a modern fear that the Jew wants to rule the world. Back to recorded history where the Persians fell to the Greeks who fell to the Romans who dispersed the Judean, by then even the Romans were referring to them simply by the shortened term, Ju (pronounced the same a Jew). The point is that from approximately 597BCE until May 15, 1948, the Jews had no homeland anywhere and were dispersed throughout most of the world. The Jews wielded power and influence throughout many periods but were always suspect and often treated as second-class people or even as subhuman. The truth was that there were initially two main groups of Jews by the time we reach closer to modernity but before the colonizing of the New World and the rise of Europe as the main power and the Europeans, though ruled as separate nations, were unified in their common cause in resisting the expansionary conquests by the Islamic Empire, be it the Caliphate or the Ottomans. The Europeans coordinated efforts to retake the Holy Lands, in particular Jerusalem, which resulted in the Crusades which were not an offensive war but a response to the conquest of the area and their being pushed from the lands after the fall of Rome and later the Byzantine Empire by Islamic forces.

The rise of Islam ended what had been a century of Jewish preeminence in many regions of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) under the remnants of the Persian Empire which rose again after the fall of Rome, in Egypt which returned to indigenous rule also after the fall of Rome, and under other tribal rule across the region with but a remnant of the Jews who remained or had returned to the area which had been their ancestral homelands with the majority residing in Jerusalem, Tiberius, Caesarea, Be’er Sheva and other towns and cities. Still, even in Jerusalem despite often being either a plurality or sometimes and outright majority, they never were permitted self-rule for two-thousand-five-hundred-forty-five year period, from 597BCE until May of 1948, just in case you wish to check our math. The Jews who resided within Europe and Russia have a history which well documented and tells a depressing story of pogrom, evictions, forced conversions, torture, inquisitions, purifications and the Protestant Reformation where virtually every new faction of Christianity attempted to prove their righteousness and superiority in having a pure faith compared to the Church in Rome each attempted to outdo the rest in their persecution of Jews and others not of their particular denomination of Christianity. Even after the Renaissance, the Enlightenment and the industrial revolution which brought on the modern age, the Jews remained persecuted and forced to work only in professions which were permitted to them and throughout Europe, they mostly were forbidden from owning land. Many Jews fled to the New World hoping that things would improve, and depending on where they went and under which European power they resided determined their plight. Often they found that the Christian dominance remained a stumbling block to the Jews gaining equal rights and they were again relegated to only being permitted certain fields of endeavor and often were still denied land ownership. But what about the Jews who did not reside under the European Christians, the Jews of MENA?

Starting in the year 622, Muhammad began the Islamic conquest of the Arabian Peninsula where Muhammad often ordered the slaughter of the men of the Jewish tribes, taking the women to use to produce fighters or as wives, trained the male children in Islam and Jihad and raising the girls to become wives. After the death of Muhammad, the leaders of the Islamic tribes continued to expand their reach and by 725 had conquered Persia, Egypt and virtually all of the region of MENA and were making their way up the Iberian Peninsula (see map below). The spread of the Muslims was halted in the west by Charles the Hammer Martel at the battle of Tours and in the East by the Byzantines and the seemingly impervious walls of Constantinople. Our apologies to our regular readers who have suffered through this story repeatedly, but from here we will be giving a different twist. Between the Caliphates and the Ottoman Empire, the Islamic religion was preeminent ruling over almost all of MENA for 1200 years. During this period, despite what European history states as they simply restated the propaganda fed them by the Muslims and seldom questioned this perfect society where all were presumably equal and everything was sugar and spice and everything nice, the Jews did not have such royal treatment under Islamic rule. At best the Jew were Dhimmi, a form of second-class people who are forced to pay a special tax called the Jiyza. The Jiyza could be an affordable amount or it could be set such that the Dhimmis would be impoverished very rapidly. When a Dhimmi was unable to pay the Jiyza, they were often given a choice to convert or die. Jews, Christians and other Dhimmi were often forced to convert to Islam or face beheading and even after conversion they were still suspect and the slightest sign that they held to their former religion would result in their death. This was the lot of Jews under Islamic rule.

Expansion of Islam Across MENA and into Europe before Ottoman Rule

Expansion of Islam Across MENA and into Europe before Ottoman Rule

There was another period which the Jews were facing persecution no matter which way they turned with the only difference being whether they wished to be tortured, forced to convert and then often killed anyway by the Spanish Christians or the Muslims who were being pushed from the Iberian Peninsula and also facing the Spanish Inquisition. Both the Muslims, who were losing to the forces of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, and the Spanish Christian forces who were facing fierce resistance from the Muslims believed that the Jews were spies or in other ways supporting their foes. Whichever side the Jews found themselves, their best hope was to hide and not be seen as to be seen would result in torture and likely death as they were seldom able to provide information which was worthy of sparing their lives as after they spilled whatever they knew or whatever they invented when they lacked actual knowledge, they no longer served any purpose and thus were eliminated. So, up until World War I from the period of the Babylonian conquering of Jerusalem, the Jews resided constantly under foreign rule even inside of the region which had been their homelands. What is important for this article is that they never had much if any influence on the way the MENA world was fashioned as they were simply powerless and as Dhimmi often lucky if they avoided much notice by their local rulers or any ruler over them all the way up the Caliph, King or whatever title the highest ruler desired for themselves. The Jews who lived in the holy lands did go through a rough period whenever there was a Crusade as when the Christians from Europe liberated a town from its Islamic ruler, they would go through and persecute and kill the Muslims and the Jews. When the Islamic forces would take these regions back, they would persecute and kill the Christians and Jews. The underlying reality was that when your city changed hands, if you were only tortured and not killed, that was being fortunate. This all ended with World War I which changed the face of MENA, something the Arabs to this day resent and blame for their economic and other woes, but the Ottoman Empire was not the only empire broken up, the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and Greater Germany were also split into numerous nations (see map below).

German Empire and Austro-Hungarian Empire Before WWI and After WWI

German Empire and Austro-Hungarian Empire Before WWI and After WWI

World War I brought the end of the Ottoman Empire and Islamic rule across MENA countries with the exception of Persia which remained ruled under Islam. After World War I, the European nations divided up the regions of the Ottoman Empire with the intent of educating and installing European styled nations. As these assigned colonial rules were established under the numerous treaties and conferences and all approved by the League of Nations and signed by the former ruler and now the leader of the forerunner for the Arab League, these mandates and colonies were considered perfectly acceptable. This is the advantage of being the winners in the war. One of the conferences was the San Remo Conference which was where the British Mandate to set up the restored Jewish homelands was born. The idea and restoration of Israel in the Promised Land was a result of World War I and was not as a result of guilt over the Holocaust. The guilt over the Holocaust canard was invented to make it appear that the Jew received their lands due to European guilt over the Holocaust and not due to the restoration of indigenous peoples to their ancestral homes. This was the driving force behind the new maps drawn for MENA and for Eastern Europe. This was a redrawing of much of the maps of all of the old world and the birth of a new world. The British were not satisfied with giving the Jews the entirety of their Mandate lands as they owed the Arab King Faisal a promise to give each of his sons their own lands to rule as he was of assistance during World War I (watch Lawrence of Arabia for a Hollywood version of why). One son of the King received Iraq and the other was granted Jordan. This meant that the Jewish State was shrunk to a mere 22% of the Mandate lands, those west of the Jordan River, and the Arabs were given 78% of the Mandate lands east of the Jordan River. The Jordan River was to be the border between the Jewish State and the Arab State. The Kurdss were also to receive their own nation but when the British found oil around Mosul, they made a deal with the King or Iraq that in exchange for the area which was to be Kurdistan, he would allow J. Paul Getty to exploit the Mosul oil fields. Thus, the Kurds had their homelands squandered away for oil by the British, which might mean that Israel was lucky that there was no oil found west of the Jordan River. The map below depicts the nation responsible for what regions and the date in which they received their independence. As World War I ended in 1918 and much of the making of these colonies and Mandates took through 1920 to 1922, the Europeans colonized the region for mostly under fifty years, which is a very short period when compared to the Islamic conquest and rule which lasted 1200 years and then these nations have largely, if not completely, returned to Islamic rule to some extent or another except for Israel.

So, as history tells us, the Jews had no part in formation of the Middle East as the mess that it represents today. The indigenous peoples across northern Africa were conquered by the Romans and then the Caliphates and Islamic rule followed by the Islamic Ottoman Empire. After twelve-hundred years of uninterrupted Islamic rule, these nations faced around fifty years of European rule before being left to their own devices which resulted in near unanimous return to Islamic rule under various kings, royal families and dictators. The real question as to who molded the current Middle East and all of the various conflicts and problems falls to the Islamic rulers of over a millennia, the borders decided by the European colonial enterprises resulting from World War I and the current rulers who took control of these various nations with borders drawn by the Europeans without regard for the tribal and religious variations of the region. The nations which retained much of their original ethnic history were Saudi Arabia, Iran (Persia), Syria, Turkey and the rebirth of Israel. The rest of the nations were inventions of the European map makers which were drawn, some claim, with the intent of making for internal strife which would require a strong dictatorial ruler who would keep order through brute force. Whether the problems resulted from the subjugation of indigenous peoples by the Islamic rulers or if you would rather blame the short span under European rule and the resulting borders, either way, the Jews had little to nothing to do with any of the problems. Even the internal problems faced by Israel are largely due to the British importing Arabs in an attempt to prevent the Jews from establishing their homeland. The problem with the Palestinian Arab refugees is actually predominantly the result of the Arabs and their attempt in 1948 to destroy the Jewish State at her inception. The vast majority of the Arab refugees was the result of the Mufti of Jerusalem insisting that the Arabs leave the region where Israel was to be formed such that the six invading Arab armies could simply slaughter everyone as they were to presumably breeze through the new state of Israel in a victorious slaughter whose intended result was best described by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at that time who stated, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” The reality turned out quite different but the result left the Islamic forces occupying areas of Gaza, Judea and Samaria. Egypt was granted rule over Gaza and Jordan over Judea and Samaria which they renamed West Bank as the historic names were far too Jewish. The one thing which never existed in the entire history of the region was any nation named Palestine or any nation which used Jerusalem as their capital other than the Jews and their ancestors.

What will be the final ending result of the numerous attempts, 1948-9, 1967 Six Day War, 1973 Yom Kippur War and the terrorist enterprise which has lasted since the turn of the Twentieth Century predating even the establishment of Israel? This is the question which is troubling the world as they are doing everything humanly possible short of the world declaring war upon Israel to destroy the Jewish State ignoring International Law and the promises made in treaties and conferences across recent history, especially when one stops to consider that the Jewish history in the areas of the Promised Lands originates close to four-thousand years ago. Under International Law which includes but is not limited to the San Remo Conference, the Mandate System, the British agreement with the Zionist Congress and all enforceable by the United Nations under Article 80 of the charter, though one would be hard pressed to recognize this, the eastern border for Israel is the Jordan River. The reason the world appears to pressing so hard to have Israel recognize a new Arab state is because unless Israel signs away her rights to the lands west of the Jordan River in a treaty or similar document with equal footing, the International Law leaves the Arabs with no actual claim or recourse to the lands west of the Jordan River. The reason the conflict continues between the Palestinian Arabs (a misnomer as there was never a Palestine for them to be Palestinian) and Israel is because the world refuses to keep their promises to the Jews. The reality is that the Arab world spat out the vast majority of their Jews, some nations wiped their lands completely of their Jews, sending over eight-hundred-thousand Jews moving to the sole nation on earth which would take them in, Israel, and they were incorporated into the new nation and not placed in camps from which they could demand all they wanted for their former nations to repatriate them and return to them their properties, the exact opposite of the Arab response to their refugees which are still in camps along with their third and fourth generation children still waiting for the world to destroy Israel so they can, as Azzam Pasha stated before the 1948 invasion to destroy Israel and wipe out her Jews, return to their region and take of the spoils of the defeated and dead Jews. This conflict will end in one of two ways, either the Arabs will finally accept Israel and care for their own people or the world will attempt to destroy Israel be it Iran using nuclear weapons as they have threatened, the Arabs finally defeating Israel, or the entire world will declare war upon Israel probably through the United Nations in stages. The first stage will consist of the United Nations General Assembly petitioning the Security Council to strip Israel of her membership in that body and the Security Council accepting their petition favorably. The next stage will likely be another General Assembly petition of the Security Council to revoke the November 29, 1947 UNGA Res 181 which was offering another partition of the lands west of the Jordan River which the Arab League refused making it void anyways, but by doing so the move will be treated as the United Nations invalidating the establishment of Israel. Then Israel will exist and continue to exist but the world will have turned their backs on the Jewish State and pretend that Israel has no right to exist. Eventually, this will lead to a coalition of nations which will set to destroying Israel by whatever means are necessary. What the Bible predicts about this final conflict does not bode well for the coalition as the arrival of the Messiach will be the deciding factor and the world will one last time feel the wrath of Hashem. The one thing which we can be assured of is that the Jews had nothing to do with the mess the nations stretching across the MENA region are suffering and if they would simply allow it, Israel could do much towards making these nations productive and their people wealthy and comfortable. There is so much they would gain by working with Israel instead of attempting to destroy her, but that would take common sense which Voltaire, Will Rogers or Mark Twain noted, “Common Sense is not so common.”

Iran Threatens Israel with Missiles from Lebanon and Gaza

General Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, stated in reference to former Minister of the Knesset Gonen Segev, “While the affairs of corruption are about to suffocate the Israeli prime minister, whose cabinet ministers have become a source of information for Iran and under whose feet hundreds of kilometers of tunnels have been dug, he creates unnecessary noise and still claims that his regime enjoys intelligence superiority.” This barb aimed at Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu pushed the disgraces Knesset Minister Segev, who was recently sentenced to eleven years in prison, after he agreed to a plea bargain deal with prosecutors, while making threats about superior Iranian intelligence abilities as well as the terror tunnels which Israel has been detecting and destroying. Apparently, General Shamkhani has overlooked or forgotten the little fact that Israel stole half of a ton of Iranian nuclear research records from their central Tehran secure location in a single night not all that long ago (read some of the taken files here. But the Iranian General just had to gloat and follow that up with threats adding, “Accurate missiles are in the strong hands of the resistance fighters in Gaza and Lebanon, and they are ready to fire at Israel if it commits an act of stupidity. The shooting of the missiles can make their lives hell.” The problem comes when one understands what the Iranian regime considers Israel acting stupidly.

There are almost an infinite number of things which the Iranian regime considers stupidly. Almost all of them are in the category of nonthreatening acts and a small percentage belongs in the category of defense of border integrity or threat removal when intelligence infers that an attack may be imminent. The obvious items on the list are the attacks Israel has conducted concerning Syria. Using only Israeli air space, Israel has struck targets within Syria containing IRGC missile logistics and launch facilities. Such attacks have been utilized to prevent, as much as Israel finds possible while remaining within Israeli air space, Iranian forces in Syria from placing missile facilities which are placed for their use against Israel and not for the fighting ongoing in Syria. These have been defensive strikes attempting to limit the logistical buildup by Iran of facilities for an attack on Israel. Iran has often declared their intent to destroy Israel and have declared sufficiently loud and clear enough their intentions that a technical state of war exists between the two nations. Still, as no formal declarations have been announced, Israel takes care not to overfly Syria as much as is possible. The threat coming from the Iranian Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council refer directly to their assistance in the buildup of ever greater threats by rockets and missiles in the hands of the two main terror threats perched on the Israeli northern and southern borders. These are Hezballah along the border with Lebanon and spreading into Syria as well, plus Hamas teamed with Islamic Jihad in Gaza. Hezballah has an estimated one-hundred-fifty-thousand rockets and missiles of which about half are capable of striking anywhere within Israel even to Eilat at the southern tip. Some of the Iranian provided missiles are also capable of striking beyond Israel making parts of Egypt and Saudi Arabia susceptible to an Iranian missile launched from Lebanon. Hamas and Islamic Jihad also have some larger rockets which can potentially strike Jerusalem and Haifa which makes Tel Aviv well within the range of these projectiles (see map below for locations of these cities and rest of Israel). The stocks in Lebanon have a significant percentage of smaller rockets which can reach as far south as Haifa and can make the northern parts of Israel uninhabitable outside of a shelter should hostilities break out. By making the Iranian threat one which would have Hezballah coordinate an attack with Hamas and Islamic Jihad would make for some very trying days for all of Israel until the rocket threat had been silenced.

Israel with Select Major Cities

Israel with Select Major Cities

There are those who have claimed that all the bluster and threats made towards Israel have never come to fruition and that Israel simply overreacts to minor provocations. When challenged with this irritating little thing, facts, they will often modify their claim to say that no Arab country has ever made good on their threats. Once we reach this point, we realize that any facts we present will simply result in their making further and further qualifiers always ending with the phrasing that Israel simply overreacts to minor provocations which other nations would shrug off. Then they will group attacks by Hamas and Islamic Jihad from Gaza and Hezballah from Lebanon as simply terror attacks which too many nations have been feeling and none have attacked anyone over these incidents. Terror attacks are one thing, hundred to thousands of rockets a week, or even a day, is not just a simple terror attack. Having over half the nation living in bomb shelters is not a simply terror attack. Israel has absorbed an almost uncountable number of terror attacks and not attacked anyone either. But when rockets are raining down on most of the country, then something needs be done and done immediately.

We sort of remember a similar thing which was far smaller in numbers when France was launching rockets, unguided rockets, over the English Channel onto Britain hoping to strike the major populations centers, London in particular and the British responded with everything they could muster including bombing Berlin. Sure, it was World War II, but we remember being taught that the British public were horrified by the buzz bombs, the British name for the V-1 rockets. The British citizens soon learned that if you could hear these rockets, then you were most likely not to be struck, the next seconds one held their breath searching the sky for the trail of smoke which would signify that that bomb was headed further north. The British military and public had a far more terrifying response to the V-2 rocket, the first true ballistic rocket, as this one struck well before it could be heard thus was dealing silent, unannounced death. These were supersonic and also carried a far larger warhead and would have been capable of carrying some of the modern nuclear warheads had the Nazis developed such. They had the scientists but many theorize that the leading German scientists worked together to hamper the Nazi’s progress to develop such a weapon preventing them from achieving nuclear capabilities. The Nazis also had worked to develop an even longer-range rocket, the V-3, which was a two-stage rocket, basically a V-2 placed atop a modified V-2 used as the initial boost stage of the two-stage system, which they planned to strike New York. Hitler had dreams of New York in flames from this new wonder weapon but technical difficulties and the war ending, all worked to prevent the plan from coming to fruition. The point here was that Israel has suffered rocket attacks which exceeded those of the Battle of Britain and similar in number to the bombing runs of that period. Britain used everything they could throw into the sky in attempts to intercept the Nazis and Israel has developed means of intercepting the new Nazis who are the latest to claim they will end the existence of the Jewish People.

The reality is that Hamas increased gradually the number of rockets per week from one or two to fifty or so leading to each of the wars. That was a mere seven a day which within the next month became almost one-hundred per day. Then the numbers climbed above one hundred and as it reached two-hundred and return fire was not proving successful in deterring the numbers of rockets, that was when Israel responded more forcefully. The European Union, United Nations and all the rest of the usual suspects screamed about the horror that Israel was attacking innocent people who had done nothing to Israel. What one needs to understand about the world reaction to most of the violence suffered by Israel is that they believe that somehow the Jews must have done something to provoke the Arab Palestinians into attacking them. Apparently, raging hatred stoked by their governance and peddled as their education system such that the next generation will hate the Jews even more than the current group is not sufficient to cause Hamas, Islamic Jihad or Hezballah to start launching rockets and shooting at Israel. There actually is another reason for these attacks upon Israel, at least one Gaza and the Second Lebanon War were triggered not by Israel and only under direction did Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza and Hezballah from Lebanon rain rockets and artillery (Hezballah) down upon Israel because Iran gave the order. There is a price that Hamas and Islamic Jihad pay and almost the sole reason Hezballah is as powerful as they are in Lebanon, and that is Iran provides the rocket engines and technologies and in return, Iran can order these terror groups to attack Israel. Asking why Iran would order an attack on Israel, and what purpose could such lunacy prevail, the answer is simple, hatred. The absolute hatred and villainous feelings the Mullahs hold for the Jewish State (Zionist Entity, as they cannot often even say Israel) would be more than sufficient to have them order such strikes, and on occasion, they order a smaller period and degree just to force Israel to respond to see how such responses damage the Israeli economy. Other times they order a ramping attack, which is usually used on the Gaza front, or a full out attack, that is usually Hezballah on the northern front with Lebanon, both with the intent on causing a war between the terrorist groups and Israel so as to divert attention from Iran. This is their means of diverting the world’s attention when they are caught doing something untoward and uncomely.

This current threat comes amongst a slowly escalating number of threats coming from numerous Iranian politicians and military commanders. What is their actual intent and are they going to pull the trigger at some point and lose the dogs of war? Nobody can claim that the growing frequency and intensity of the threats is not at least minimally disturbing, but in Israel, you learn to live a normal life while minimally perturbed. Asking when anything might actually happen is something at which we could take a stab. Iran is currently sailing a naval fleet to the western North Atlantic Ocean. This region has a better known name, the United States East Coast. This is the coast with some relatively important cities including but not limited to Boston, New York, Washington D.C. and Miami. Iran has made a sizable number of threats to attack and destroy the United States. They appear to believe that were they to destroy New York, Washington D.C. and perhaps a few more large cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas-Ft. Worth, San Francisco or even Chicago that the United States would seek to mollify Iran and be all but defeated. They might have decided that they wish to test their two favorite theories. The one about America having become too soft for an actual war with Iran and that they can destroy Israel with a single knock-out attack from the north and south and possible launching from within Iran, Iraq and Syria simultaneously. This would also precipitate catastrophic events as Iran was struck at by both Israel and the United States with both intending to end the rule by the current regime. Unfortunately, one nation or the other would strike hard enough, if not both, that the Iranian people would also end up paying for the mistakes made by their unelected leaders. We do not desire to debate whether or not Iran has fair elections, as it is well known that the Mullahs determine who is eligible to run in their elections thus controlling the choice the people have. There have been claims that they also manufacture the results and that even their reports on the numbers of those who voted do not correlate with the precinct reports. The reality is that at the infamous Friday rallies the crowds, often led by some of the ruling clerics, chant in turn, “Death to America” followed by “Death to Israel.” This is repeated often for as much as an hour and the rallies are held immediately after Friday services. That is the time which most of the Arab Palestinians hold their demonstrations. The Gaza rioting started on a Friday and is often stoked to a peak on Fridays and should Hamas decide or be ordered to ramp things up, such an increase will also be started on a Friday. So what will need watching is how well the Iranian naval fleet holds up or if they need to turn back short of the Atlantic and will the calls to destroy Israel continue to increase or be permitted to lessen for a while. There is a feeling here in the office, such as it is, that something is in the works and is simply waiting for certain things to line up as Iran requires. It may be that the Israeli strikes in Syria are preventing their preparations which would be just such a sad thing that we might need to celebrate.

As far as what could Israel be doing which would qualify as an act of stupidity. There are any numbers of things. Since there were no reprisals, stealing half a ton of nuclear documentation did not qualify, so we can rule out Israeli successes against Iranian interests. This means that the Syrian interventions are not going to be the act of stupidity. To be honest, the main act Israel can do to be considered an act of stupidity by the Mullahs is simply to continue to be and to succeed and be such an asset to the world even if most of them do not appreciate Israeli generosity. Ask any nation after a natural disaster who gave the most advanced, efficient and qualitative assistance and often the answer will be Israel and the Americans. When you compare the two nations in area, population, GDP or anything other than Nobel Prizes and Israel is insignificant by comparison but has an equal presence when people are most in need. Ask them at the United Nations General Assembly and they will denigrate Israel by large proportions every time. Israel could prevent an Iranian attack, a serious attack and not just a volley of rockets which are launched out of Syria ever so often. Fortunately, the Iron Dome systems usually intercept these before they strike any populated region. Most often, it is Israel’s existence which most upsets the Mullahs along with the financial and other successes for which Israel is famous, or infamous in certain circles, that most infuriate the Iranian leadership. Israel simply needs to continue to do what Israel has been doing for over seventy years and getting better at it all the time, and the Iranian Mullocracy will slowly boil into a frothing madness. Israel frustrates Iran because it is in the heart of the lands of Islam and was a part of the Islamic Caliphate, the Islamic Ottoman Empire and under Islamic rule for close to nine-hundred years. As the Quran promises that lands once conquered by Islam must never be permitted to leave Islam and be ruled by another, and especially not the accursed Jews, the Iranians desire to be the ones who succeed in removing this offense to Allah and drive the Jews from what the Muslims consider Islamic lands. For everyone’s information, the Muslims feel the same way about Andalusia, which is the name that they gave to the parts of Spain and Portugal which they conquered before suffering their defeat at Tours when Charles “the Hammer” Martel turned back the Islamic conquerors preventing the fall of France. The Muslims continued to rule much of Spain until King Fernando and Queen Isabella instigated in 1492 the Spanish Inquisition. Yes, we know, Columbus and all that fun stuff, but as Jews, 1492 was memorable for something entirely different in Spain, Jews became even more endangered than the Muslims. But Spain should back Israel as should Israel ever be destroyed, the Muslims will be coming for Spain. Of course, by all appearances, the Muslims are attempting to birth their third attempt at the conquest of Europe, they do not count their defeat at Tours as an abortive attempt to conquer Europe, only their attempts from the east. Both ended at the Gates of Vienna. Meanwhile, Israel continues to act foolishly and often even commits acts which could be considered stupidly simply by insisting on continuing to be successful and inventive with a healthy economy while persisting as having one of the happiest national averages for her people. Israel is also the only nation in the entirety of the Middle East to have freedom of religion, a growing Christian population as well as one of the central places for the Baha’I as well as a number of other minority populations. It is also where one can see such as the picture below and nobody finds it uncommon or disturbing. Israel is a place which is multicultural, multiracial and a free and open democracy with equality for all, every single person regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.

Jew and Muslim in Prayer

The only way to understand Israel well, is to visit Israel and travel her for a few weeks, not on some tour but on your own taking in the variety of life. Believing the propaganda without actually checking to see if there is any truth is what leads to Israel being protested so vehemently, especially on campuses of higher learning. The stories about the Arab Palestinians being mistreated are largely untrue or embellishments on anti-Semitic tropes being recycled now as hatred for Israel. Israel does not rule the Arab Palestinians as they are either ruled by Hamas in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority in regions of the Shomron. They are not Israeli citizens and thus are not ruled by Israel but by their own governments, both are primarily dictatorial. Israeli Arabs have all the rights, privileges and freedoms as every other Israeli including the Druze, Bedouins, Christians, Muslims, Jews and every other peoples who are citizens of Israel. Blaming Israel for the problems faced by the Arab Palestinians is the same as blaming the United States for poverty and difficulties in Mexico. Nobody, nobody who is sane at least, demands that the United States permit the people of Mexico to vote in their elections and thus Israel should not be expected to allow the Arab Palestinians to vote in Israeli elections. But these are other things Israel does that the Iranian rulers believe are acting stupidly as they believe that the Jews should be ruled over by Islam and Jews should never be permitted to rule over Muslims.
