What Should Israel do to Mitigate the Portman Controversy?

Before even approaching this subject, it will be necessary to make an assessment of why Ms. Natalie Portman decided to refuse the 2018 Genesis Prize. Initially, she had appeared to be extremely excited and honored to be receiving this prize and looking forward to the ceremony despite the fact that Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu would also appear and make a speech. She initially had no problem sharing the stage with the Prime Minister, the same person she claimed was impossible for her to appear alongside as part of her reasons for refusing the award subsequently. Early last November she exclaimed, “I am deeply touched and humbled by this honor. I am proud of my Israeli roots and Jewish heritage; they are crucial parts of who I am.” Additionally she reacted, “I am particularly inspired by the opportunity to make an impact on women’s issues in Israel…Israel has already achieved much in terms of social and economic development, education and science, and we can all be rightfully proud of it as Jews…” And a last quote of her reaction is as follows, “It is such a privilege to be counted among the outstanding Laureates whom I admire so much. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Genesis Prize Foundation, and look forward to using the global platform it provides to make a difference in the lives of women in Israel and beyond.” These quote came care of INTO THE FRAY: Natalie Portman as a symptom written by Dr. Martin Sherman, an opinion author we often read and have found to often put forth profound thought.

Natalie (Black Swan) Portman and Bibi Netanyahu

Natalie (Black Swan) Portman and Bibi Netanyahu

We have established that initially Ms. Portman was eager, honored and desirable of receiving the Genesis Prize. So, what happened? Her initial claim was that the violence on the Gaza border was a large mitigating factor and that she found the Israeli actions abhorrent and she could no longer receive the award. Portman said later in a statement posted on Instagram, “Let me speak for myself. I chose not to attend because I did not want to appear as endorsing Benjamin Netanyahu, who was to be giving a speech at the ceremony. Like many Israelis and Jews around the world, I can be critical of the leadership in Israel without wanting to boycott the entire nation,” Up to this point, her reasoning was purely political but confusing as she knew when she initially was reacting to being chosen that, as we already stated, knew that Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu would be attending and making a speech and sharing the stage. But then she goes off the rails making a vacuous statement which starts with a completely incorrect claim that Israel was founded to be a refuge for the survivors of the Holocaust. We have to take into consideration that she is an actress whose fame is for her physical appearance and ability to repeat lines with the proper emotion, definitely a talent but not necessarily requiring any actual knowledge of history, something often proven by today’s actors and actresses. Israel was set into motion by the 1917 Balfour Declarations and codified in the 1922 San Remo Conference and restated in further treaties and the Mandate System set in place by the League of Nations and all recognized under Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. Her following statement goes, “Israel was created exactly 70 years ago as a haven for refugees from the Holocaust. But the mistreatment of those suffering from today’s atrocities is simply not in line with my Jewish values. Because I care about Israel, I must stand up against violence, corruption, inequality, and abuse of power.” This last statement is definitively telling and on this we shall discuss as it describes Ms. Portman’s refusal, the support of the BDS Movement by the late Stephen Hawking and the numerous performers, both actors and musicians, who have cancelled tour appearances or declined making appearances in Israel, particularly Tel Aviv which is largely secular and very liberal.

What happens often in these cases is that the BDS Movement has a system which is largely financed by the Arab League and numerous Arab nations and which was initiated by the PLO when they supported boycotting Israel which was quickly adopted by the Arab League and eventually was transformed into the BDS Movement as the Arab boycott of Israel was too restrictive and the BDS Movement took the Arab boycott into the leftist mainstream. Since then, the BDS Movement has gained in sophistication and financing has increased and numerous leftist NGOs have adopted the BDS boycott of Israel. Some of the groups supporting BDS Movement against Israel include; Black Lives Matter, International Solidarity Movement, Olive Tree Initiative, Palestine Summer Encounter, IfNotNow, Adalah, Campus Action Network, Christian Peacemaker, Friends of Sabeel, Interfaith Peace Builders, National Lawyers Guild, Presbyterian Synod, Rachel Corrie Foundation For Peace and Justice, US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, United Church of Christ Palestine/Israel Network, United Methodist General Board of Church and Society, Women in Black, Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, Council on American Islamic Relations, If Americans Knew, Muslim Public Affairs Committee, Muslim Students Association, Council for the National Interest, International ANSWER, International Socialist Organization, Jews For Justice For Palestinians, La Voz De Azatlan, La Raza, Middle East Studies Association, Nation of Islam, Veterans For Peace, Who Profits and finally, of no surprise, the American Nazi Party. Then, of course, there are numerous people of wealth who also assist financing the BDS Movement which can be found here along with a more complete list of organizations and NGOs as we only took the majority of those listed. Still, with these numerous mostly leftist organizations, there is no problem getting people to volunteer to make phone calls to whomever is the target of the moment, send e-mails from as many accounts as each has set up for their use, and make other communications making the target believe that there are millions who would never buy their albums, books or other goods or services or would no longer go to movies or plays in which they appear which can make some weaken and decide it is not worth one stop on their tour to risk this loss of support. But for others, such as Ms. Portman, there is another force in play and this is what we believe likely is what was largely behind her rejection of the award, namely peer pressures. The Hollywood crowd is not exactly known for their support of Israel just as they are not known for their support of President Trump. Israel’s main crime is that first off it is a very religious nation which in Hollywood means they are backward and ignorant. Further, Israel has repeatedly elected conservative governance which is another sign of retardation and a sick population in the minds of the mental giants in Hollywood. The real problem is that Hollywood has a herd mentality and the leadership has decidedly chosen the far left to the point that to be part of the “in crowd” in Hollywood, you have to pass a litmus test proving that you are a strong leftist and believe as the politics chosen by the crowd. Part of that politics is to support all the leftist political movements which includes the BDS Movement because it supports the Muslims who it has been decided are the downtrodden and victims in the world as well as being thought to be people of color despite the fact that being a Muslim says nothing about your pigmentation as it is a religion, not a race. Still, this measure makes Israel the greatest evil on the planet as the Muslims desire that Israel be eradicated and thus to be part of the accepted crown in Hollywood, you must hate Israel. Ms. Portman was likely informed by numerous of her “friends” that she must refuse this “Israel” award, especially if she desired to be invited to the “in” parties or be considered for any future roles in movies for the rest of her life. Simply put, she was likely threatened by her community that this would be considered an unconscionable sin which would be inexcusable and be held against her forevers. This is our theory and it has been a systemic problem with many concerts being cancelled for their Tel Aviv or Jerusalem appearances which has been effective for many newer bands while many of the old rock-n-roll bands have simply ignored or stated outright that they will perform in Israel, BDS be damned.

Now, as our title stated, what can Israel do to mitigate this effect? There are many who claim that Israel need invest far more funds in external affairs to fight against these efforts and work to put the Israel reality story into the public discourse. This would be a possible means for Israel to combat this and there are many who are out there, us included, telling the Israel reality and standing up for Israel. The question to ask is how much Israel should put into such a program to make it successful? Well, at least as much as is invested against Israel. Were Israel to do such, then the Saudis, the NGOs, the European Union and many member nations, the United Nations, and numerous billionaires will simply double down and Israel cannot keep pace and still have any funds left for anything else, especially for the IDF. Israel cannot keep pace with the funds put up against her so that is not an issue. Even if Israel were to triple the funds and efforts into such policies, they would be but a small drip compared to the tsunami her detractors are spending. Perhaps having those people with famous names could be encouraged to stand stronger and louder in their support would help. The other side has the trump numbers and could bring far more people to the floor through intimidation or simply depending on true believers. The only thing Israel can do to protect herself is to continue to be the most moral nation and work within the systems which already give her legal right to the lands west of the Jordan River. What would likely surprise even the supporters of Israel is that it would be legal for Israel to deport the Palestinian Arabs into Jordan from the entire Shomron without so much as a how do you do. This would be just as legal as the deporting of the German people in the lands Poland was awarded after World War II and from the lands France was awarded after World War I. It would be legal just as the two populations which were exchanged between India and Pakistan after the founding of Pakistan. There were a number of population exchanges made in the world within the last century and should have occurred when Israel liberated the Shomron and Gaza Strip during the Six Day War in July of 1967. The Arabs in the Gaza Strip would have been displaced into the Sinai Peninsula or into Egypt. Technically, under the rules of warfare, since Israel was responding to a breach of the treaty by Egypt who blockaded the Straits of Tiran in the Red Sea which was a casus belli as an act of war. This made all the actions by Israel during the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War legal and Israel should have been permitted to retain all the land Israel deemed necessary or desirous for her defense and future requirements. This means that Israel could have retained the entirety of the Sinai Peninsula and forced the Egyptians residing there to move across the Suez Canal into Egypt and that would have been legal. This is how the Rules of War read since they were agreed upon through World War I. Since then, the main alteration has been that lands gained in a defensive war may be held until decisions are reached between the involved nations in a formal peace treaty. The aggrieved nation which was attacked, they are permitted to retain the land they gained should this be coded in the peace treaty and cannot be forced to return the lands otherwise. This is why Israel could only be required to return land and not all the land after the Six Day War as encoded in UNSC Res. 242. The Egypt treaty surrendered the formerly occupied Gaza Strip and the peace with Jordan surrendered all of the formerly occupied Shomron, the lands west of the Jordan River. Once the people in Gaza had been moved into Egypt and the people in the Shomron moved into Jordan, that should have been the end of everything. The world decided they could not live with Israel being permitted the same rights of other nations which had been established over the years. Israel had been promised the lands west of the Jordan River which she possessed when founded in May of 1948 until she was attacked by six Arab armies intent on the eradication of the Jewish State and genocide of the Jews within the nascent state.

Israel survived that assault but lost the area of the Shomron and Gaza Strip including half of Jerusalem including the entirety of the Old City. The Jews residing in the lost territories were forced from their properties mostly without taking their belongings and their homes were gifted to the favored of the King of Jordan. Jordan then destroyed the Synagogues and the Mount of Olives cemetery and other Jewish properties. The marker stones from the Jewish cemeteries were taken and used as paving stones and for making bathrooms intended as insult to the dead Jews. When Israel regained the Old City and the Temple Mount all of the holy sites were found in poor repair and the entirety of Eastern Jerusalem was found to be mostly a ruin with everything broken and in disarray. Since then, Israel has revitalized the entire region and repaired the holy sites, rebuilt some of the Synagogues and some are still in the planning stage and will be rebuilt with time. Some were so completely destroyed that they are not being rebuilt. Water systems and electrical systems have been repaired and improved and waste systems repaired with new treatment facilities built. The entirety of East Jerusalem has been modernized while taking care to keep as much of the original structures intact or repaired as necessary. The Palestinian Arabs were established with one intent, the complete destruction to destroy all of Israel. This was in the original charter of the PLO and remains in the charter of Hamas and Islamic Jihad while the Arab League still calls for the destruction of Israel and Iran has stated their desire to destroy Israel as well as the United States. Perhaps the United Nations would do something unprecedented and honor their Charter, in particular, Article 80 which claimed that they would enforce the Mandate System which would imply that they would recognize the lands west of the Jordan River as belonging rightfully to Israel. Such a decision might end the problems which have been behind the Arab-Israeli conflict should the United Nations in the Security Council recognize the Jordan River as the eastern border of Israel and support the resettlement of the Palestinian Arabs either in Jordan or allow them to choose whichever Arab nations or nation which would accept them allowing their removal from the land of Israel, something eminently legal under the laws of war. For those who wish to apply the Geneva Convention to the Arab-Israeli conflict, since the lands of the Shomron were occupied by Jordan and Jordan definitely attacked Israel as part of the Six Day War making Israel the aggrieved nation, Israel is the only nation with a true claim to the lands west of the Jordan River. Facts can be sticky objects, and these are the facts. As for Gaza, Israel surrendered claim to Gaza and Hamas took Gaza in a coup, thus if the world really desires to make a Palestinian State, Gaza would serve well and it could be called one of many names. Allow us to suggest a few; there could be Hamastan, Islamasstan, Gazastan, Terrorville or Hamastania.

Sovereignty Over the Shomron

Recently we wrote about the postponement again of the Sovereignty Bill where Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed the postponement was due to the need to work with the Administration of President Trump. Well, it turns out that President Trump and his administration does not know about any such need to work with Netanyahu. Perhaps we should be understanding as Prime Minister Netanyahu has so many troubles at the moment that he gets confused about with whom he has discussed what and when or how. The Israeli police have finally completed their multi-year investigations, the latest of their investigations, and have advised that charges be filed against Prime Minister Netanyahu. This has become an event every couple of years where the police recommend charges be brought and when all is said and done more was said than done as the Attorney General and his prosecutors end up giving the police a pat on the head and told they made a great effort but what they found not only does not rise to the need for any accusations, they really should have relied upon a far less partial main witness. One has to wonder what they were thinking when they needed to find some evidence which was worthy of calling for accusations that they turned to the one man who most desires to replace Netanyahu himself, Yair Lapid. For those who don’t know Yair Lapid, he is the most recent replacement for Tzipi Livni as largest desire with the least chance of ever becoming Prime Minister. His self-serving use of the party he founded, Yesh Atid, is merely the necessary invention which will permit him to make claims on being the next greatest savior who can finally make peace and having the intelligence which was evidenced by his astute ability to actually read the teleprompter on the news every night. His entire claim to fame is his being a newscaster who almost never mispronounced a single syllable. The real problem with Mr. Lapid’s plans is he is stuck in the two state solution and believes that leaving the communities beyond the Green Line and even sharing Jerusalem would bring peace, a folly if nothing else.

The problem with the solutions of the past is their logic was from the past and belongs to the past. Realities have changes and the weaponry of the terrorists have changed. The previous weapons were handguns, assault rifles, suicide bombs and weapons which could be applied directly to an area. The current weapon of choice still includes all the old weapons plus rockets, missiles, mortars and artillery. This has altered every reality concerning ceding lands to the Arabs as now they have weapons which have vastly increased their range and lethality. Granting the Arabs in the Shomron complete autonomy would open the central regions of Israel and soon after the entirety from the northernmost points to Eilat at the southern tip to rockets and artillery and other lethal weaponry. As everything has changed and progressed, Israel will be required for the safety of her people to retain sovereignty over the entirety of the Shomron if the country is to remain secure. The changed factors makes retaining the Shomron so critical that it matters not if the Europeans, the United Nations, the United States, the Russian or anybody anywhere on the planet might object, Israel must retain all the lands west of the Jordan River, period. Anyone and everyone who wishes to demand otherwise must be ignored and if they should become overly loud, then they will require straight truth about reality and be silenced or ignored, no other option should be considered. International Law, Treaties, the Mandate and every legal document grants Israel total and complete authority and rule over these lands and that is what must be impressed on everyone opposing the Israeli claims. That is the simple reality of the modern situation in the Middle East.

Looking at the area, we find wars in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and including Turkey and Afghanistan and even Pakistan. Currently, except for the provocations from Hamas, Hezballah and Iran, Israel is one of the sole places where peace exists. Israel is one of the most stable governances in the entire Middle East where there is a democracy, another uniqueness, where the people are represented in the government. Allowing the Arabs another state would simply create another unstable area which would initially be a dictatorship with Mahmoud Abbas at its head. The problem is as soon as the IDF would be required to retreat from the area; Abbas would initially be overthrown by members of the Palestinian Authority which would in turn be overthrown by Hamas under the direction and with assistance from Iran. This would grant Iran a launching-off point on the western shores of the Jordan River and on the heights overlooking Tel Aviv and the central region of Israel. Without the Shomron, Israel is a mere nine miles wide at its center thus the Shomron is absolutely necessary for Israel to be capable of self-defense. The Shomron (West Bank on the image below) is absolutely required if Israel is to survive if for no other reason than weapons and tactics of war have been irrevocably altered since 1967 when Jordan held the area and declared war along with Egypt and Syria in the Six Day War. The United Nations demanded that Israel return lands, not all lands, and by returning the Sinai Peninsula and giving up all claims to Gaza, Israel has returned lands and fulfilled any and all requirements placed upon her.

Nine Mile Wide Israeli Waist

Nine Mile Wide Israeli Waist

Israel faces other challenges well beyond the Jordan River. There is Iran which has promised to destroy the Zionist Entity, and Turkey which despite having official relations still acts more as an enemy than a reliable partner in peace. Additionally, Israel faces Hamas in Gaza, Iran in Syria, Hezballah in Syria and Lebanon and much if not most of Europe and the United Nations all working to destroy the singular Jewish State. What many do not realize is that Israel is the single entity standing between chaos and an invasion of Europe by the hungry forces of Islam which include Turkey, Iran, Hezballah and near countless terrorist groups. The Europeans should realize from the recent increases in terrorism, many which imitate things which have been perpetrated against Israel in the past, that without the plug in the well-shaken bottle which is Israel the violence in the Middle East would explode across Europe pouring into the streets and across city after city. Europe is probably rightfully frightened by what it has witnessed closer to their borders than such violence has been in ages and take their frustrations and trepidations out on the only target which actually might care, Israel. The Europeans know if they were to launch the kind of accusations they throw at Israel at Iran, Syria, Lebanon or others that they would be inviting waves of terrorism to flow across their borders, so out of frustration they target Israel as Israel is not about to take anything out on them. The truth is the land is rightfully Israeli and the Palestinian Arabs were invented in 1964 by Yasser Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas and much assistance of the KGB. We had a recent article with a video halfway down the page where a member of Hamas, in a pique of anger with Egypt, lets loose a barrage revealing the falsity of the Arab narrative against Israel identifying the vast majority of the Arabs as Egyptians, Saudis, Syrians, Iraqis and other Arab and Muslim nations and not native to the area. The reality is that for most of its three-thousand-year history, Jerusalem has had a Jewish majority. No other nation has ever held Jerusalem as its capital city and only the Jews have had an actual freestanding state on the lands west of the Jordan River in the entire history since King David. Israel needs and must retain these lands, as they are all part of her ancestral homeland and have always been vital to her defense.

Any Excuse to Postpone Action on Claiming All the Land

The excuses roll off the lips and out of the mouths of the leaders of the coalition one after the other. They make them sound so righteous and proper. We need to work with the Administration of President Trump. The security situation demands we wait as that takes precedent. The Prime Minister has determined this is not the time. The Europeans have demanded we reconsider. The stars are not aligned in favor currently. There are winds blowing for which we have to understand. Any port in a storm will do when it comes to postponing consideration of the Sovereignty Bill. Judea and Samaria, the Shomron, are to continue to be Jewish killing fields and our leaders are refusing to extend protection of Israeli law and instead leave the area under military rule which has proven so insufficient, especially since the disastrous Oslo Accords. What is strange is even the Romans under Herod’s rule over the Jews included not only the Shomron but lands east of the Jordan River as belonging to the Jews of the First Century (see map below). The Sovereignty Bill is the Israeli answer to actually just agree with Mahmoud Abbas that the Oslo Accords are dead. They should have been declared dead when the Second Intifada broke out. They should have been declared dead when the Stabbing Intifada broke out. And they certainly should have been declared dead after the recent implosion of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the expletive strewn tirade by Mahmoud Abbas declaring relations with the United States, President Trump, Israel and whomever else he blamed for his failings screeched forth from Nablus. Truth be told, the Oslo Accords were stillborn as the reason behind this deceit was to fool the ready to be duped Israelis, specifically the peace loving Jews, into believing they actually had partners for peace and instead were bringing vipers to their bare chests. Still, it is way past time that Israel took the necessary steps to annex all the areas currently having Israeli citizens and their neighborhoods, cities and industrial parks. Finally, we need consider ending the Oslo farce and taking the steps which were legal and expected after the Six Day War and reclaim all the lands west of the Jordan and let the world howl for as long as they please, and here is how to accomplish that and why.

Roman Lands for Jews Under Herod in the First Century

Roman Lands for Jews Under Herod in the First Century

The asps in question were Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas and their PLO which once renamed the Palestinian Authority was presumed to end their terror war on Israel. Well, how many deaths and acts of terror does it take before we admit that there has been no change, they are still just terrorists and we have no partner for peace, just those who wish to murder us in our beds (Fogel Family), on our streets (Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal HY”d and so many others), in our synagogues (Kehilat Bnei Torah synagogue) using weapons of every variety and even ramming us with vehicles. This is the language they are taught in their schools, heard on their televisions and radios, lauded with the naming of streets, parks, camps, schools and Mosques and directed all from the headquarters in Ramallah of the presumed peace partners. Their leaders admit freely that there are no such people as the Palestinians and they are but a construct for murdering Jews and Zionists and later the Americans and Europeans. The world should be clamoring for the Israeli leadership to annex the totality of the lands west of the Jordan and deporting the Palestinian Authority threat and menace, sending the leadership and all its aiders and abettors back to Tunis from whence they came or sending them to Syria, Iran or whomever is willing to take them. They have proven their deceits and no longer serve any constructive purpose, but until the leadership, starting with Prime Minister Netanyahu, take the initiative and extend the rule of law to every Israel community of citizens, then the blame for any more terror lies with them as well as the PA terror masters.

The reality of the situation is that given the opportunity to leave the area ruled under autonomy by the PA, the Arab residents would leave of their own volition if not for the fact that doing so is punishable by death. Oh no, there is no law to point to, just that the Arabs know that this is what Arafat had ordered and that Abbas is no different except he dresses well. They have all seen the gruesome reality of people lynched and left hanging from cranes in village squares or shot in groups as done by Hamas in 2014 responding to allegations of their collaborating with Israel during the Gaza war as a warning to all, do not even consider leaving or cooperating with the Jews. That is the reason that the Palestinian Authority and its entire security apparatus must be dissolved and prevented from any continuing influence. Only then can the Arabs residing in the areas they currently control with iron-fisted subjugation be free to act in their own best interests.

Hamas Lining Up Arab Gazans for Execution by Firing Squad

Hamas Lining Up Arab Gazans for Execution by Firing Squad

Once the area has been pacified and freed from the PA oppressors, then Israel can offer to buy any properties at twice appraised value along with additional funding for relocation allowance for any non-Jew who desires to relocate outside the area of Israel which would then include all the lands promised under the San Remo Conference and the Mandate System which entitled Israel to the lands west of the Jordan River. Israel has made an offer to the illegal African migrants who came seeking jobs and not refugee status or asylum that should they leave by the end of March, they will be given $3,500, along with airfare and other incentives. Certainly, an even more generous offer could be offered to the Arabs and other non-Jews, even including Israeli citizens who are unhappy living in Israel, to have them relocate with the understanding that their move from Israel will be permanent and return will not be permitted. As far as airfare, that would need to include a pair of tickets if their relocation were to an Arab nation which does not permit flights from Israel. Of course, if the chosen destination were Jordan, no airfare would be required, simply ground transportation for them and their household goods. All of those accepting such an offer would be permitted a certain size container for personal household belongings they wish to take with them and anything beyond the allotted size would need be at their expense. The Arabs from the PA who desire remaining residing in Israel would be granted resident alien status which allows them every privilege of residence but does not permit their having political rights such as voting in national elections or regional elections. Certainly if a town or city was predominantly Arabs, who were once under the PA, like Nablus or Bethlehem, these resident aliens would be permitted to vote in their city elections. Cities like Hevron would need to be considered with specifics put in place, as there exists both Arabs from the PA and Jews residing in the city and some meeting of the two would be required. Hevron could not remain a divided city as such does not function well as coordination will always be a problem. There will be certain difficulties resulting from this change but there will be ways of handling almost any situation.

Once Israeli law has been extended to the entirety of the area, there would be a simple understanding that terrorism would not be tolerated and any act of terror would be dealt with severely. There would need be a system by which any terrorist having attempted or successfully committed an act of terror would, after serving their court assigned sentence in prison, would then be deported and their attempt to return would result in another prison sentence and again deportation. Also, the family of a terrorist would potentially face deportation if it became known that they knew of their dependent child’s intent to commit an act of terror and they had not informed authorities, they would also face deportation. Where such may sound harsh, Israel has suffered more than its share of terrorist acts and would already have made a generous offer for people unhappy with Israeli rule to leave with much financial assistance, any who remain must be expected to refrain from violence, especially terrorist violence. The driving force behind these actions was two-fold, first the false offer of peace by the PA leadership and second their use of terror as their weapon to destroy Israel and murder Jews proved their anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic driving emotions and for these and their being steeped in terror was the entire reason for the deportation of the PA leadership and security force and the offer to permit those desiring to reside other than under Israeli rule of law a generous package to get them started elsewhere. After such generosity, Israel has every right to expect those remaining to live under Israeli law and to do so peaceably. Any other nation in the world would not deport or offer generous relocations bonuses but would instead hold trials for those behind the terrorism with stiff sentences even to include the death penalty where appropriate and deportation as a minimal sentence without any relocation bonus. Further, for those desiring leaving, they would be permitted by other nations without even the offer to buy their property. They would basically be invited to use the door and not let it strike their backsides on their way out. That is the reality in the majority of the world and Israel is likely one of the few if not the only to offer illegal immigrants financial aid to relocate provided they do so within a set time period and did so voluntarily or they can ignore the warnings and be arrested and deported without any bonus. That is theirs to choose and is far better a choice than the United States even provides. Those nations who allow airfare to their originating nation and not just dumping them over the border they crossed on entrance are considered generous; Israel is being attacked for her generosity. That is simply proof that there are those, especially when it comes to Israel, who would not be satisfied with a loaf of bread under each arm. Simply put, they would never permit Israel any credit no matter how exemplary the Israeli actions. We call those in all too many cases, NGO’s.
