Manhattan Terror and More

 

The terrorist attack in Manhattan was horrific and abhorrent in every manner. The terrorist was required to jump over five yards or more and avoid hitting the trees parked along the median separating the bicycle lanes from the traffic lanes. Then he accelerated to run down approximately twenty cyclists and murdering eight of those he struck. The terrorist has been identified as 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov. Terrorist, please excuse our jumping to conclusions as he has not been convicted, just caught in the act, shot, hospitalized and hopefully at least arraigned, Sayfullo Saipov entered United States through Diversity Visa Program. He came to the United States seven years ago from Uzbekistan carrying a Diversity Visa, which has been, importantly, a part of President Trump’s proposed revisions for his “extreme vetting” program.

President Trump sounded less than amused as he Tweeted, “The terrorist came into our country through what is called the ‘Diversity Visa Lottery Program,’ a Chuck Schumer beauty. I want merit based. We are fighting hard for Merit Based immigration, no more Democrat Lottery Systems. We must get MUCH tougher (and smarter).”

The Diversity Visa Program was a State Department wonder program, as in it makes one wonder who came up with such a lame-brained idea, whereby fifty-thousand immigrant visas were made available annually and, according to the United States Citizen and Immigration Services website, applicants must prove they have a clean criminal record, have a high school diploma or its equivalent, or have at least two years of work experience within the past five years in order to qualify. One can only wonder how difficult it might be to qualify with such strict restrictions plus one wonders how were these qualifications to be verified, word of honor, scouts honor, note from your mother, or slips of paper from nations where such pieces of paper are easily attained by just about anybody and easily forged by any organization or determined individual. The program was passed through the Congress as a fine piece of progressive legislation and signed dutifully by a progressive President George H.W. Bush in 1990. These programs have been in action since the 1970’s and continued and bolstered by Democrats and Republicans alike with terrorist murderer Sayfullo Saipov having arrived in 2010. Both parties are to blame for these contemptable programs which undermine the safety of American citizens.

 

 
In the end, terrorist murderer Sayfullo Saipov rammed his rental truck (see below) into a school bus probably hoping to murder any children who may have been aboard. We believe the school bus was empty, and we are thankful of this, but murdering children is another cowardly preference these new breed of terrorists target. The other fortunate thing other than the school bus (see below) being empty was that it also brought the murderous rampage to a quick and decisive end. Still, at this point, terrorist murderer Sayfullo Saipov stepped out of his totaled truck apparently holding firearms. It turns out that his guns were toys, replicas incapable of hurting anybody and apparently were there for him to brandish in hopes of being sent to his seventy-two virgins (or raisins depending on the translation).

School Bus which Stopped Attack

 

Now we will have a little good news before closing. In Israel, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and intelligence agencies discovered a new terror tunnel leading into Israel. The IDF believed the tunnel to be unoccupied at the time of its destruction, something the Israeli government has determined to be the best actions to use to avoid appearing unnecessarily unkind. What kind of world are we residing in when a national government has to be concerned as to whether or not terrorists are in a tunnel designed for the murder of its citizens before destroying it, but it gets even more embarrassing. There were some twenty terrorists working away in the tunnel preparing for who knows what when it was destroyed. Gaza medical authorities from deep within Hamastan reported that seven of the terrorists died resulting from the destruction of the terrorist attack tunnel burrowed underneath the Israel Hamastan (Gaza) border. Mahmoud Abbas came out to meet reporters and declare that Israel was guilty of murdering the heart of terrorism, if only that were true. Hamas denounced the needless destruction of their tunnel and the taking of the lives of seven of their finest people. Then came the saddest part of this day, the Israeli government issued a statement apologizing for causing the death of the seven terrorists working in an attack tunnel which led from Gaza under the border into Israel from where terrorists would one day emerge to murder Israelis and destroy their homes and attempt to destroy the entirety of Israel. Yes, they apologized for killing terrorists readying an attack tunnel for the assault to murder Israelis. At least the terror tunnel is destroyed and terrorists met their end and I guess we will have to live with the apparent apology for killing terrorists in a terror tunnel.

 

We understand that Israel values lives, even terrorist lives, but given a choice between terrorist lives and the lives of Israeli civilians including children, we will take terrorist lives. It was proven that terrorist target children came that same day in Manhattan as the terror attack ramming came to an end when the terrorist targeted a school bus hoping it might have children aboard. Still, the loss of life can be mourned and respected without a formal apology for killing terrorists readying their attack tunnels for their deadly purpose. Seven terrorist died and their work in the tunnel has come to an end making, hopefully, many Israelis safer as a result and that is the good news. Every destroyed terror tunnel is, in and of itself, a blessing in its own way.

The Lie of Gaza Relief

 

There was a recent announcement that a plan is in place which will give relief to the people of Gaza as Hamas turns over governing responsibility to the Palestinian Authority (PA). The idea that this will provide any assistance to the financial imbalance in Gaza is preposterous. The other claim is that this will also provide Israel with a measure of added security as Gaza will not be ruled over by Hamas. How in the world simply freeing Hamas from having to provide any social services such as water, electricity, sewage treatment, trash pick-up, road repair, bus service, ambulance service and any other service and instead use all of the funding they receive from Iran, Qatar and Turkey, which exceeds seventy-million per year and is said to be approaching, if not exceeding, one-hundred-million per year, into their terror infrastructure of tunnels, arms, rockets, rocket propelled grenades, smuggling tunnels, bunkers, attack tunnels under the border into Israel as well as the Sinai, and a plethora of other weaponry, will make Israel safer is beyond reason. This development will also pose a threat to the Egyptians as Hamas has reached agreements with the Islamic State to aid their offensive in the Sinai against Egyptian forces and very possibly leading to the Islamic State making the Sinai Peninsula their new base of operations as they are being pressed in Iraq and Syria and needing a new area in which to operate. There is nothing in this arrangement which will assist Israel, Egypt or the people of Gaza or those residing in the areas of Judea and Samaria where the PA holds autonomy. But there are things this is going to permit and reasons and concepts where this fraudulent perception will be sold.

 

The first claim which will be attempted to be passed off will be that now the areas, Gaza and the PA autonomous regions of Judea and Samaria are now completely under the control and rule of the PA. The PA will be the titular rule in Gaza but will still be utilizing Hamas security forces, Hamas police, and all the weapons will be in the hands of Hamas fighting forces. The PA will only be paying the electric bill and presumably the salaries of the public employees, the vast majority of which are Hamas personnel so Hamas will have additional savings by not having to pay their own people and that money will buy additional rockets. The PA will rule in name only but will try to sell this as now that Hamas is not formally in name ruling Gaza and the PA has formally (in name only) taken over, now the world can realize the two state solution and recognize the new Arab state of the PA. There will be new calls to end the Israeli occupation of the lands which legally belong to Israel but that the Arabs claim are theirs. Of course, Arab claims supercede Israeli rightful ownership by treaties recognized and formalized by the United Nations Charter in Article 80. The initial screeching already started back on September 17, 2017 in the United Nations Human Rights Council where they held a debate on the subject of, “Human rights situation in Palestine” which we provide a series of outtakes and pertinent quotes below including one Palestinian, as Mahmoud Abbas claims, once a Palestinian, forever a Palestinian, who told his story of true hardships. Still, we are sure that the delegates will take the entirety and full impact of this honest assessment to heart before returning to their normal debate condemning Israel.

 

 

Be assured that this entire announcement is nothing more than a ploy to try and gin up some activity in order to try and bring the world’s complete and sole attention to the Palestinian demands and their need for the world to rush and save them. Never mind that the average Palestinian in the areas ruled by the PA despite living in hardship still have a higher standard of living than the average Arab living almost anywhere other than a select few oil enriched nations throughout the Arab world. Many live very opulent lives, especially those who are well connected to the levers of power of the PA, Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

These are not the pictures one normally is exposed to from the “disputed territories” where everybody is said to be suffering miserably. Just like it is not widely explained that the PA also pays the families of terrorists who are in prison or have been killed while murdering Israelis an average of one-thousand dollars for each Israeli they murdered. There have been terrorists who have admitted to their arresting officers that they committed their attacks to kill soldiers, settlers, guards, any Israelis and then hoped to die in the attack so their children or family would receive payments from the PA government. An example is below where Khaled Rajoub repeatedly and proudly stated that he committed his action in order to be shot dead and have his children live a happy life receiving the reward payment from the PA government.

Khaled Rajoub: “The best is to kill soldiers. That way they have guns and they’ll shoot me and kill me. But if I’m not able to kill soldiers, I’ll try settlers, guards – in other words any Israeli target – the important thing is that I will die and they will kill me, so that my children will receive a [PA] allowance and live happily.”
Interrogator: “What did you want to achieve by killing soldiers or settlers, or any Israeli target?”
Khaled Rajoub: “So they’d shoot me and I’d die, and my children would receive an allowance.”
Interrogator: “Are you still determined to do that?”
Khaled Rajoub: “Of course, 100%. I’m telling you – if you’ll set me free, I’ll do it again as soon as possible. I’ll bring another car, and I’ll run over [soldiers] at the first military post I see. I’ll kill as many as possible, and they’ll shoot me, and I’ll die. There is no other solution.” […]

Khaled Rajoub: “… I say to you again – I don’t regret what I did, and if I have the opportunity, I’ll do it again, and I’ll kill soldiers or any Israeli I come across.”

What could we possibly add to this? Well, we could add the longer rest of Khaled Rajoub interrogation which can be read at the link provided above. He really intends to commit terror act after terror act to kill as many Israelis as he can until he is killed just so his children will live the good life being paid for his murders. It starts out with a sad story about his life where he tells the interrogator, “I am a man with a family of seven, including me and my wife. I don’t work, and I’ve accumulated large debts, and am unable to pay them off. I reached a point where, if my son wants a shekel, I have nothing to give him. Therefore, I decided to die – it didn’t matter how – by hanging – any way, to die. I thought about it and said to myself that if I die by hanging, or any other way, I won’t get anything out of it, so I decided to do something serious, such as committing murder, something in which I will both kill and die, and then my family will get money.” This was a man with a plan, a sordid and terribly vicious plan and he was determined to carry it out. He had fortunately failed in this attempt and stressed repeatedly that the main two goals, and he was driven to meet both goals, were to kill Israelis and then get killed himself, to die, so his family would have money. The part of his wanting to die is irrelevant, as he does not have to die for the family to get paid, that was just a bonus part in his plan. Our question is what do the Israelis do with this poor soul? Release him and he will just try again and probably murder some people and maybe even get himself dead. But his crime would not likely get him a life sentence, which makes sense, until you realize what he will do after being released, and with a better education from his fellow prison mates, thus he would be more likely to succeed. And if the Israelis had him committed to a hospital where he might receive mental health care, he would do what was needed to be released and then we know what would follow. This is a sad case but not a singular instance. These are some of the realities which the world ignores as they simply continue with the oldest lie told, the Jews are at fault and the Jews deserve whatever ill comes their way and the world will pay to make sure that happens. There are a few people making efforts to change this story and we wish them good fortune in those efforts.

Suicide Bus Bombing Returns

 

An Egged bus this Monday was viciously bombed in Jerusalem leaving at least sixteen wounded, with the inclusion of one very critically and two seriously wounded amongst those struck. The initial police investigating the scene reported they suspected the explosion was a terror attack but that report was quickly silenced replaced with a more cautious report simply claiming a bus had exploded with the source being unknown and a second nearby bus which held whatever it was that exploded (see pictures below with captions linked to their supporting articles). Doctors reporting on the injuries their patients had suffered removed all doubt in our eyes, and eventually law enforcement came around as well to the knowing this had been a terrorist bombing and likely an attempted or successful suicidal homicide bombing. Many of the patients had the telltale wounds caused by flying nuts, bolts, screws and nails which had apparently been packed within the explosives. Such wounds do not occur naturally even when the object of the explosion was a bus. The busses contain more rivets than nuts, bolts and screws; and they never contain nails as part of their construction. One of the physicians treating the patients from the attack was quoted stating, “Some of the wounds of the victims who arrived to us are from nails and bolts that penetrated their bodies. It gives the impression of wounds from a terror attack.” The two buses were destroyed in the ensuing fires and a civilian vehicle was also damaged. Both Hamas and Islamic Jihad organizations have praised this still potentially deadly bombing as the most grievously wounded are still not out from danger.

The attack could have resulted in far more injuries had not the bus adjacent to the bus with the bomb on it being emptied before it caught fire and fire consumed it relatively slowly. This latest escalation of the assaults upon civilians comes amidst a terror wave starting back middle to late September and has claimed thirty-four innocent victims’ lives and wounded hundreds upon hundreds physically and one can only guess at the thousand who have suffered psychological trauma or emotional stresses with any number of which requiring treatment and rehabilitative services. Often the thoughts do not go beyond those whose blood spilled from wounds of varying nature and tend to ignore the other injuries which often strike just as deep as the nuts, bolts, nails and screws often dipped in strychnine or other poisons in order to maximize the injuries and traumas to the bodies of their victims. One has not received reports indicating such yet in this most recent attack but often the full effects of such poisoning do not fully show until a day or more later. Most of the injuries were suffered on the one bus which had passengers and the private vehicle whose injured are somewhat lost due to the greater magnitude of injuries in the bus. The second bus was empty of passengers but is still a doubling of the damages to the Egged Bus Company and their insurers. The advantage to the reports finally proving to have been a terror bombing is it enables the victims to avail themselves of government funds to pay for all care not otherwise covered and even permits insurers to file complaints of losses.

Minister of the Knesset (MK) Bezalel Smotrich called upon Netanyahu to cancel the planned withdrawal of IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) forces from Palestinian Authority Area A as we reported yesterday in our article Netanyahu’s Risky Response to World Threats cited Monday’s bus bombing as “a reminder” of what could happen. Furthermore, MK Bezalel Smotrich stated “Anyone who needed a reminder of what would happen if the IDF will stop operating in the major Arab cities in Judea and Samaria got {it} today. It was fourteen years ago that the Park Hotel was attacked during the Passover Seder; that terrible terror attack that came after a long period of {deadly terror assaults} in which one-thousand people were killed and it was that {bombing} that led to Operation Defensive Shield, and from then on the IDF took back responsibility for ensuring the safety of Israeli citizens.” It truly was the Park Hotel Seder which so outraged Israelis as the victims were mostly older Israelis and resultant deaths with some being Holocaust survivors and to have them die in such a horrific attack upon Jews simply because they were Jews was a doubling of the pain for an entire nations and to others far from the shores of the Mediterranean, the backdrop for such a horrific act of blatant hatreds. MK Smotrich closed stating, “We must never return to the mistakes of Oslo, which cost us so much blood. I call on the Prime Minister to reject the proposal and the concessions [plan] and end the terror [wave] by removing the motivations that have fueled it.”

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in heartfelt prayers conveyed his sympathies to the victims and their families, relatives, neighbors and friends as well as the nation as a whole, as these acts of violence strike at each of us in their own way, stated, “Our prayers for a speedy recovery go out to those injured in the terror attack, being treated as we speak in hospitals across Jerusalem. On such a day – when thanks to the dedicated work of the security services, this morning the discovery was revealed of a terror tunnel in the south, and in the evening frightened citizens returning from their daily routine are being rushed to hospital {paused, continuing emphatically} it is clear to us all, that the struggle against terrorism is ceaseless. We will pursue and we will reach all those who wish us harm, until quiet is assured.”

Revealing their truly hate filled hearts, as empty and blackened as the remains of the buses, the Hamas terror organization approvingly applauded the horrific carnage and bombing of buses and their civilian passengers, riding a known Jerusalem bus route which does not serve any contested areas, stated definitive with awe and praise the bus bombing that it was “the natural response to Israeli crimes, particularly the field executions it conducts, and the assaults on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.” Further and in support of such senseless carnage and taking of even more innocent lives whether through injury eating their spirits the rest of their lives or worse, death as all are not out of the woods yet, Islamic Jihad also justified the attack, presenting their praise claiming that it “delivered the message that the Intifada would continue.”

Police reported at the close of their inspections of their efforts yesterday, Monday, stating that an explosive was placed on a number twelve bus line which detonated under or within a bus that was empty of passengers but which led to the wounding of the passengers in an adjacent bus and a private car. They also believed that the person most critically injured was likely the terrorist who set off the explosives as their body was found ripped open nearest the actual bombsite. Daniel Katzenstein, a member of the Psychological-Trauma-Unit for United Hatzalah of Israel speaking to Arutz Sheva informed them of some background tying it to this bus attack referencing that this attack reminded him of the bus attacks of the Second Intifada from between 2000 through 2005 where there were many serious and traumatic bus bombings, many even more damaging and lethal than this particular bombing. He relayed that, “Unfortunately that’s were United Hatzalah gained a great deal of its experience, in responding to bus bombings.” He further expounded explaining that the medical teams began evacuating the wounded, saying, “there were many people who were far too dangerously close to the bus when it was burning. The first task was actually to get them to a safe place and then to begin to treat them.”

 

Our prayer go out to all affected by this horrific crime against humanity though we advise not holding one’s breath waiting for United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon or President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry to denounce this as a cavernous act of cowardice and as a striking of every person residing in a free and diverse state which are all threatened by such terrorist violence. Additionally, with the discovery of a Hamas tunnel which reached over a mile into Israel and the obvious use of construction material allowed into Gaza for rebuilding of infrastructure and residence for the people being diverted almost completely to the building of terror infiltration tunnels, many of which have collapsed being besides the fact, the misuse should cut off all building supplies into Gaza. The residents of Gaza who are still without places to live and without work as their place of employment has yet to be rebuilt and finding the only work available is to advance the terror goals of Hamas will unfortunately continue to suffer. Such a move will not affect their woes but will prevent further expansion of the Hamas tunnel terrorist infrastructure, the seemingly sole use of every last inch of concrete, rebar and other building materials. Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the rest of the terror structure do not care about the people of Gaza which was made obvious through their not permitting them to seek safety in their tunnel system during the conflict, have not permitted the homeless shelter and food in their tunnels reserving such for their youth and supporters and finally did not use their upper-class homes as places from which to fire the rockets into Israel thus tempting return fire destroying their nice mansions while placing the people’s homes and apartment houses, schools, clinics and other needful places and things as legitimate targets once used for launching rockets. One can also almost hear echoing around the globe the howling which would have arisen had Israel targeted only the multi-million dollar and Euro homes of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders and main beneficiaries as that would have been called extrajudicial war crimes which were disproportional as Prime Minister Netanyahu’s house was not struck so why were the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad mansions destroyed. They would have claimed they had no military purpose completely missing the fairness of including their homes as they risked the targeting of the peoples, those they consider lesser people who must sacrifice so they can live luxuriously. This was another war crime committed by Hamas and Islamic Jihad as they only risked the regular people’s homes, their peasants and lessors of their societal importance and structures. This should be the lesson for every Gazan, that ultimately every home and shopping center, school and clinic, workplace and shopping market of the normal working Gazan that will be sacrificed and never rebuilt for as long as they allow Hamas to run their lives and distribute the goodies to their friends and fighters making terrorism the only occupation in Gaza. That is how a nation becomes a true terror state. One need look no further than Gaza to know what a Palestinian State in Judea and Samaria would become and thus making it obvious why Israel must always maintain security rights even if that limits the Palestinians to a semi-autonomous statehood and not complete separation and independence as that would result in another failed terrorist state where terror would be the sole industry.
