Initial Terror Reports Were Frightening

 

Residing in the north of Israel places one thus far outside the ranges of the rockets from Hamas. Living close to the coast makes us less prone to attacks by the Arabs under the Palestinian Authority. So, we should feel safe and outside any real threat. That feeling was shattered this last few days. The initial reports were not all that informative beyond that Iranian forces, the IRGC, had launched a terror attack against northern Israel. There was no specification stating where along the north this attack was launched. The good news was that it had been intercepted by the IDF and the launching point of the drones eradicated. Still, hearing that Iron Dome units had been placed in the north as preparation for this anticipated assault is fine, but were we the target or somewhere else? Well, as with all things, time will tell. Still, hearing about such a threat which had some unthinkable result as several drones laden with explosives was the one clear item we heard the morning after the Sabbath. It was not until several hours later, as everything was slowly coming back into full operation after the Sabbath that we heard that the attack came well east of our town. There is nothing like reports of terror attacks potentially being in one’s area to bring home that everywhere in Israel is within any number of Arab forces sworn to our destruction and the death of as many Israelis as possible. Sobering would be a definitive understatement.

 

One thing many people around the world are often unaware is exactly how small Israel actually is. People we have met believe that Israel is around the size of the average European country while some actually believe that Israel is close to half the size of the United States. The look of disbelief on these people’s faces when they are informed that Israel is approximately the size of New Jersey with a much narrower midsection is priceless. This means that much of Israel is within strike distances from outside her entire perimeter. Hamas can reach over two-thirds of Israel from their Gaza location which is beyond the reach of the IDF without necessitating a full invasion by soldiers as Israel refuses to utilize the tactics used by the United States, Russia and most of the rest of the world where air-power is used to eviscerate any target as well as much of the surrounding region. Israel uses ground forces when it becomes necessary to destroy the Hamas forces, rockets, mortars and other offensive operations and operators. The Palestinian Authority has taken a completely different route to increase their terrorist capabilities. Rather than expend the effort, time and their security forces, they instead pay any terrorist and their family a hefty salary for life for every Israeli they murder. This investment has led to knifing attacks, shootings, car rammings and other forms of attacks which are launched in shopping centers, at bus stops or any other location where a group of people make for ample targets. Even the sole individual is vulnerable as even a single Israeli murdered means that your family will live well into the future. But the real threats come from, you guessed it, the north. That threat is traceable directly back to Iran and takes the form of Hezballah and the IRGC which are spread across southern Lebanon and all across Syria.

Hezballah and the IRGC pose such a special threat that they deserve additional comment. Where Hamas is limited to Israel south of Haifa, Hezballah and the IRGC have missiles and rockets which are capable of reaching all of Israel and beyond (see map below). Additionally, these two militaries, and they are both legitimate military terror armies, are backed by Iran and everything they have is stationed from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. This includes ballistic missiles and weapons loaded with anything from nerve agents, biological agents, chemical agents and, once they produce them, assuming they have not already, nuclear warheads. Further, Iran could use any exchange, such as the events over the past weekend, as an excuse for declaring any strike they launch against Israel was in response to any Israeli response to terror assault whether they be rockets launched from neighboring countries, ambushes along their borders, drone attacks such as the recent ones or any interception of terror forces across these borders. Iran has often rattled her sabers after Israeli forces have intercepted across border attacks or struck rocket and artillery platforms used to strike into Israel often launching air to surface missiles from within Israeli airspace across into Syria and Lebanon as necessary. These two armies, IRGC and Hezballah, directly take their orders from Iran and the majority of their attacks are ordered from Tehran. These are just some of the threats which Israel faces, but things will become worse in the not too distant future unless the world awakens to the threats being faced by Western civilization.

The main step away from Israel which has infected too much of Europe will take root and infect the United States. Anti-Semitism has been increasing at rates formerly believed impossible over the last decade and it promises to accelerate and soon becoming beyond political will to resist the growing hatred. One need simply look at the candidates seeking the Democrat Party candidacy for President in the 2020 elections. Even Joseph Biden was forced to alter his expressing support for Israel making that a minor backside issue in his campaign. The remainder sound more like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib than they do the Democrat Party of our youth. Bernie Sanders holds Israel in the deepest of contempt while defending himself from claims of anti-Semitism claiming he is Jewish and thus cannot be an anti-Semite while his history is replete with statements forsaking anything to do with his birth religion. This is far from unusual for far-left Jews of Western civilization as they defend their anti-Israel positions with the claim that they are Jews while declaring their atheist beliefs forsaking the tenets of Judaism. Their Judaism is nothing other than a shield they wield to deflect criticism of their positions against Israel and Zionism while ignoring every other nationalist movement and government on the globe. Should the Democrat Party continue their slide into anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism and anti-Israeli political positions, when they inevitably resume the handles of power, Israel will find herself cut loose of United States support. That should stand as a double warning, one to Americans and the other to those in power in Israel who will be required to address such an eventuality.

Between the terror scare the other morning and watching as the world continues to drift away from Israel, we are concerned as to whether Israeli leadership will make the necessary adaptions to military and political stances and dependencies such that Israel does not end up blindsided when the inevitable comes to pass. The recent Rashid Tlaib and Ilhan Omar fiasco where Israel exercised the right of any nation to prevent those who work for their destruction from entering their borders, as the United States did with an Israeli Knesset Minister Michael Ben-Ari, laid a spotlight upon exactly which politicians from both parties upon which they can trust. It also was eye-opening, and not exactly a pleasant one. Israel will be required to be the sole source for whatever may be her military weaponry and other systems as well as facing the potential that she will become the outcast of the entire world with perhaps a dozen exceptions at best. This might go so far as to include agricultural requirements for feeding all Israelis, Arab, European, Asian, from the Americas as well as Jews, Christians, Muslims and every other person residing within her borders not to mention virtually every other need or requirement for a healthy and content society. Between Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, Hezballah and the IRGC in Syria and Lebanon all taking orders from Tehran and Iran also making threats against Israel (as well as the United States, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and others), the possibilities for a multi-front war with Israel facing rocket and missile attacks from the north and south, terrorist tunnels on both fronts if they have not all been detected, across border infiltrations, drone attacks at both fronts and possible military attacks complete with armor and air support from out of Lebanon and Syria plus potential assault and launchings out of the Sinai Peninsula, a hot bed of terrorist groups, Israel could face what will amount to an existential threat to her existence.

 

There is another item we used to hear when back living in the United States coming from people who otherwise supported Israel was that they never would stand for American forces to be used in defending Israel. Some who did not like Israel were somewhat more direct claiming that they would not stomach American boys and girls having their lives placed in jeopardy over a nation of Jews. Well, allow us to place these fears to rest, Israelis refuse outright and definitively do not desire for any troops from another nation to come and fight and possibly die fighting for Israel. We are totally aware that there is no faster means of losing what support Israel has with any nation than to have their young people returning in caskets because they were helping Israel defend herself. Should there be those, like Colonel Mickey Marcus who fought with the Israelis defeating largely the Arab attempt to destroy the nascent state of Israel in the 1848 War, who choose to put on an IDF uniform and fight under their own choice and not as a foreign soldier, that is an entirely different situation. Would we expect to hear pushback should any of these volunteers die, most certainly as we expect pushback over virtually any and every act taken by our government (should we ever elect a new one), military and even our relief efforts in natural disaster regions. Hey, we’re Israel, the Jew amongst the nation, we never expected anything different. Still, Israel will hopefully do whatever she is required to do to protect her people and defend her lands. Our wish is for the world to finally make good on the promises made after World War I and allow us our full borders as laid out in the Mandate System and presumably protected under Article 80 of the United Nations Charter and enforceable by the United States under the Anglo-American Treaty and by Britain, Italy, France, Russia and Japan as signatories of the San Remo Conference, the Treaty of Sèvres and numerous other agreement, treaties, accords and conferences all which referred to promises made under the auspices of the League of Nations and the Allied Powers from World War I. We do not require the world to love us, like us, approve of us or do much which would show us favor and acceptance, but we will eventually, preferably sooner rather than later, insist that promises made by the unanimous vote at the League of Nations be finally honored and once our borders have met these guidelines set out now approaching a century past, leave us in peace and we will share with the world our discoveries, new technologies, computing advances, medical cures and treatments, agricultural methods, clean water technology, communications technology, security and other software, advances in physics and virtually everything else all without attempting to be moralistic. Friendship with other nations will always be preferred, but respect has to be the minimum, and that minimum is one thing which Israel can demand as she is entitled to at least that modicum of respect, just as is every other nation.

Why the Middle East Peace Process Will Continue

 

The Israeli-Arab Peace Process, aka Middle East peace, aka Palestinian Peace Process and likely a plethora of other monikers are all equally misleading and just an arrogant lie. There never has been an actual peace process. The Oslo Accords of 1993 were simply a reason to bring back Yasser Arafat and his terror henchmen to eradicate the Jewish State. Oslo was initiated by a group of Israeli leftists, the Netherlands operating as the European enabler used by the State Department, and State Department officials working to destroy Israel for their Arab oil masters. The description just given is not intended to claim that everybody involved in the Peace Process do so with ulterior motives other than establishing peace. The actual expected goals of the peace process is to cut Israel down by taking a piece this decade, a peace that decade and piece after piece until Israel is unable to defend herself and is eradicated in an orgasmic genocidal assault by Arab terror forces and armies who will simply finish their intended purpose in fighting the Zionist Entity best described so succinctly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League who stated, before six Arab armies invaded the nascent state of Israel in May of 1948, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” This idea was known to be the state of things as they prepared to leave their Mandate allowing those residing within to fend for themselves. Jordan was already established as Transjordan, and the Arabs had six national armies and several militias and terrorist forces ready for the expected annihilation of the Jews and their state. The British went so far as to confiscate every firearm and weapon the Jews had managed to stockpile and transfer them to the Arab militias arming more Arabs and disarming Jews. This attitude by most of Europe has never changed and they are still on the sidelines cheering for the end of Israel.

 

The latest example of the animus targeting Israel comes from a United Nations forum headed by Norway consisting of the fifty-four-nation United Nations Economic and Social Council which considered a resolution that says, “the Israeli occupation remains a major obstacle for Palestinian women and girls with regard to the fulfillment of their rights.” Norway, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg and Malta joined with China, Russia, Iran and Venezuela and 29 other nations in supporting this targeted resolution. There was also another resolution that was passed mentioning “social repercussions of the Israeli occupation” more generally. Israel was the only country named as a violator or trouble spot by the Council during the session, according to the UN Watch organization. Only Canada and the United States voted against the resolution while the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Romania and Ukraine were among the nine nations that abstained from the vote. This is one of a myriad of examples of the world stirring the pot blaming Israel for every ill and difficulty faced by the surrounding Arab World, specifically the Arab Palestinians.

 

This farce known as the Peace Process has been continued despite all evidence that it is useless as the Arab Palestinian leadership, be it the PLO, Palestinian Authority (PA), Hamas, Islamic Jihad and even Hezballah, all consistently exclaim their intentions to destroy Israel and even kill every Jew on planet Earth and that they have absolutely no interest in peace other than the peace of the grave for the Jews and their state. The PA has refused every attempt at peace even to include the occasion where President William Jefferson Clinton received from Yasser Arafat his minimal demands which he would accept to make peace. President Clinton then met with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak twisting his arm and bending his ears until he agreed to meet the entirety of Arafat’s demands. All were gathered the next morning in Paris, France, as Prime Minister Ehud Barak and advisors, President Clinton, Secretary of State Madeline Albright and advisors along with a herd of media were waiting for the signing of this monumental agreement hammered out by President Clinton specifically to meet Yasser Arafat’s every demand. Yasser Arafat appeared coming down the steps, walking straight across the rotunda, out the entry foyer and into his waiting car which sped him to the airport where he flew to Aman, Jordan and subsequently initiated the Second Intifada in place of peace. This was likely the closest any United States President ever came to actually reaching a peace between Israel and the Arab Palestinians as President Clinton had gone to sleep content in the fact that he had done all that was necessary to reach peace. Under President George W. Bush, another Ehud, this time Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, agreed to what has been termed the most favorable peace offer ever made to the Arab Palestinians and it was rejected outright. Also, during the terms of President George W. Bush, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon agreed to remove every last vestige of Jewish and Israeli presence throughout Gaza providing the PA with an opportunity to show the world their great ability to run an actual governance and economy. Within a few years, Gaza was surrendered by the PA to Hamas in a bloodied coup and is today controlled and ruled by Hamas with Islamic Jihad with both terrorist groups coming under Iranian influence, Iranian control. The result of this sacrifice by Israel, like every other concession Israel has made for peace, fell on deaf ears only to be met by further terror, death, injuries and violence.

 

There have been two glaring truths which the United Nations, European Union, Non-Aligned Movement (group of over one-hundred developing nations often voting in unison with the Arab world), the Arab and Muslim worlds, Pseudo-Human Rights groups, United Nations agencies and the multitude of anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, anti-Semitic NGO’s have all gleefully ignored, that Israel has made all the concessions seeking a real peace while the Arabs have continued to demand that the Jewish State be dissolved and the Jews placed under Arab rule to do with them as demanded in the Quran. For those not that familiar with the Quran, we offer our article as an introduction, Which Quran, Mecca or Medina? and provide the truth, the Quran allows Islamic rulers to provide the Jews with protection in exchange for their paying the Jizya, and when this proves inadequate to tolerate the insult of Jews living within the Islamic World, the Jews are given their final choice, convert or die. The eventual result of destroying Israel and allowing for Arab Islamic rule to take over the lands, is the extinction of the Jews who were unable or simple refusing to leave Israel despite any hardships. The eventual intent of the Arab Palestinian leadership is the genocidal removal of the Jews from what they consider to be their world.

 

 

The Arab Palestinian leadership has reached the pinnacle of obstinance with the coming “Deal of the Century” which is being proposed by President Donald Trump. Mahmoud Abbas (Yasser Arafat in a suit) denounced any and all preferrings originating from the United States as long as President Trump holds the White House. Yes, there is definitely a “hate-hate” relationship between Mahmoud Abbas and President Trump. Mahmoud Abbas is able to denounce any and all peace offerings simply depending on the support of the anti-Trump Democrats in the United States and the anti-Trump Europeans to continue to support Abbas and protect him from any harm which could result from the efforts by President Trump. These anti-Trump forces have all the agencies of the United Nations, the Human Right Commission, the United Nations General Assembly, the BDS Movement, numerous anti-Israel NGO’s, the European Union, and, of course, the Arab and Islamic Worlds to utilize in their efforts to support and continue the terror assault on Israel and her citizens. So, this all begs the question, what are the actual intents of more of the world than even we feel comfortable in recognizing. Well, the initial answer is that much of the world as well as including specifically Mahmoud Abbas, the PA, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezballah, Iran and most of the Islamic World have absolutely no desire for peace with Israel but rather peace of the grave for all Israel.

 

The real problem facing Israel disguised as the Peace Process is the desire of the majority of the world’s leadership and power brokers to erase what they regard as their greatest mistake, the granting for the Jews self-rule in their ancient homelands. One can see how Britain along with France and numerous others starting almost immediately after the San Remo Conference in taking lands from the British Mandate intended for the Jewish State and gifting them to Arabs. The first such move was the taking of the Golan Heights and Britain giving them to France to incorporate into the Arab nation of Syria and denying them to Israel. The next move was to take seventy-eight-percent of the remaining British Mandate lands and making them into Transjordan (now Jordan) placing it under the rule of the Hashemite Arab Muslims. From this point, things begin to become absolutely absurd and are only believable by studying history of the region since the 1850’s when the initial Zionists started to arrive followed soon thereafter by waves of Arabs seeking employment or by stealing lands (farms) from the Jews who had built irrigation and drained the swamps. Those seeking employment or willing to cooperate with the early Zionists were welcomed. The others, under the influences of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini, gathered starting in the 1920’s rioting destroying Jewish businesses, homes and murdering Jews while the British largely stood aside observing only firing a weapon when the Arab gangs threatened the British troops, and one shot fired into the air or ground was all the British were required to shoot to end the violence. The violence was rarely, if ever, terminated by firing a single shot as long as the Jews were the sole targets. But what about the modern era, what has developed?

 

President Trump has held his economic introduction announcing the extent of monetary assistance he is willing to provide in order to improve the lives of Arab Palestinians. Obviously, President Trump must be unaware that the Arab Palestinians receive an inordinately huge percentage of economic aid provided all needful people as displayed by the graph below. As evidenced, the Arab Palestinians have received between three to ten times the economic aid provided other needy peoples. All this infusion of monetary aid has never come close to doing anything beyond providing the funds to continue the terror war against Israel. But President Trump and the presumed others who are promising this economic infusion into the PA and Gaza will not need be delivered as the PA, PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and much of the Arab world have refused the aid claiming that they cannot be bribed into accepting the Jewish State. Most of the economic aid will find its way to these terrorist groups anyways. Even if this promised money is not given under President Trump, it will be granted over time by the United Nations, UNRWA, the European Union, numerous European nations, NGOs around the world and other state and non-state actors will be sure to provide funding beyond their wildest requirements. This was evidenced when President Trump cut United States funding of UNRWA as they refused to modify their curriculum from initiating terrorism and violence against Israel and Jews to a curriculum more conducive for promoting peace and President Trump also cut the funding to the PA removing an amount equivalent to their investment in the “pay to slay” funding of terrorism and the Europeans and United Nations immediately stepped forward and filled the gap in funding as the terrorism must continue. President Trump has asked the “question which must not be asked” when he postulated that Mahmoud Abbas, Hamas and most of the Arab Palestinian leadership do not desire to make peace and instead intend to continue their terror war against Israel and the Jewish People with any and all funds received. Now that the “question which must not be asked” has been hatched and all have had to realize the truth, that the Arab Palestinian leaders will never accept peace unless it destroys the Jewish State placing the Jews, considered to be inferiors to their Islamic masters, allowing the Arabs to hold their rightful place as rulers over all of the lands. Thus, their chant across the Western college and university protests of, “From the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea, Palestine must be free.” Many Western leaders agree with the sentiment of those words and are agreeable to working towards such an end.

This explains why no peace has ever been attained. Contrary to the pro-Arab and anti-Semitic world’s claims that Israel has never made any moves or sacrifices for peace, the evidence is vastly different. Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt for peace. Israel left Gaza for peace and received rockets, incendiary balloons and kites and continual rioting along the Gaza border. Israel provided in the Oslo Accords to divided the region granting the Arab Palestinians civil control over Areas A and B while Israel was granted control over Area C. Currently, the European Union has been building unauthorized illegal structures throughout Area C and labeling them as Arab Palestinian communities in an attempt to cut all of the Jewish communities off from the rest of Israel leaving them to wither on the vine. The United Nations joins the European Union in condemning Israel should Israel destroy these illegal structures. They insist that these are viable and Arab communities with all the rights of a recognized community, despite the fact most of these communities are not used as residence for anyone and only some come into use for guided tours of the deprivations the Arabs live under because Israel refuses to give them water, sewage systems, electricity, gas, proper roads and other utilities for these illegally built communities. They pay Arab Palestinians to sit around these structures providing a show for people, usually media and political visitors, who are brought through to witness the play which unfolds as the propaganda for blaming Israel as if she was actually depriving the Arab Palestinians a decent life. All of this trouble simply to provide cover for the terror war designed to eventually destroy the Jewish State. But this farce continues to function like a well-oiled machine backed by the UN, EU, Arab and Islamic Worlds, the world’s dictatorships and other anti-Semitic forces. The Arab Palestinian terror masters do not have to do anything but continue to murder Jews and destroy every and anything Israeli and they will have sufficient support from most of the world, eventually including the United States despite what many believe, and the cash will continue to roll in.

 

Now there has come one last item which, if it does not trigger a reaction, will finally reveal the fraud that is the Arab Palestinian cause. It has come to our attention that the PA has forbidden Arabs to voluntarily leave the PA controlled areas. At political symposium in Jericho, Saab Erekat stated, “…we will not allow resettlement or formation of refugee committees for that aim, while holding on to the settlement of their cause in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.” The PA is demanding that UN Resolution 194 which states, “refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible.” Israel opened their doors in the first decade of Israeli existence for those Arabs who had fled at the behest of the Mufti to return. The Arab League leadership refused to permit these Arabs from returning placing them into refugee camps where they and their prodigy have remained in limbo ever since. This demand is a smoke screen which is glaringly obvious as they are refusing to permit Arabs from leaving their locations, be that in Gaza, Areas A and B, and the remaining refugee camps, thus how can UN Resolution 194 be carried out if Arabs are forbidden from moving, period. Their demand, which will become a rally cry screeched over any statement describing the true reality, will be possibly, “UN Resolution 194, show the Jews the exit door.” Then, with boosts from their enablers, they will claim that Israel is refusing to allow Arab Palestinians from returning to their homes, which mostly have not existed since the early 1960’s, and the world will ignore Erekat’s declaration that no Arab will be permitted to leave the PA ruled areas and Hamas has the same restriction in Gaza. So, as usual, the Arabs are causing the perpetuation of the terror war and victimization of their own population and then are echoed by their enablers when singing their old tune that the Jews are restricting Arab freedom of movement. Lastly, this new restriction was put in place just in case the “Deal of the Century” which President Donald Trump is revealing might include resettlement of the Arab Palestinians, often returning them to the country from which they had left to move to the areas becoming the Jewish State of the years and rejoining their families and tribes which mostly remained behind. So, Arab Palestinian leadership restricts the movement of their citizens which the world blames Israel for this restriction because the Arab leadership will claim they were forced to take these steps because Israel must be blamed because the world knows how those Jews can be. Well, if given truth serum, then maybe many in the world would speak the truth, otherwise they just blame Israel, the nation of the Jews.

So, You Thought Hezballah was Merely an Israeli Problem?

 

You read the news and almost every time, if not every time for most, when the Hezballah is reported, it is virtually always to do with Israel or some other conflict in the Middle East. Hezballah is mentioned in threats to fire missiles striking in Israel, tunneling beneath the Lebanon border into Israel with intent of infiltration raids on Israeli civilians, fighting alongside Bashir al-Assad Syrian forces aided by Iran and the IRGC in Syria, aiding with training as well as fighting allied with the Houthi rebel forces in Yemen and in that rare occasional report which mentions the tri-border region in South America where Hezballah has a series of training areas where Argentina shares borders with Brazil plus Paraguay. The areas you almost never hear references to Hezballah is in Europe, Asia, North America and southern Africa. Perhaps this is due to such events being swept neatly under the legal carpet presumably for the common good of the society. After all, no political figure wants to hear the news reporting of any Hezballah plots to carry out an attack using three or so metric tons of an explosive, say, ammonium nitrate, anywhere near their district, city, county, state or country, all depending on the political level which would be so threatened. Perhaps the political pressures could affect the way in which any such threat would be detected, investigated, possibly prosecuted or, to avoid any undue strain on the body politic, and arrange for other means of handling those involved.

 

Well, guess what. That is right, such a terror threat which was foiled with minimal fanfare and without anyone being charged, that despite one initially being arrested, all because the timing was off. This has come to light thanks to a deep investigation carried out by The Telegraph where it was reported that Hezballah had been caught planning a terror strike in or around London with, you guessed it, using metric tons of ammonium nitrate. MI-5, assisted by the London Police Department, uncovered the stash containing thousands of disposable ice packs filled with ammonium nitrate. This amount was considerably more than was used in the Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people and damaged hundreds of buildings. The raids were carried out on three businesses and one home in North West London by MI-5 and authorities after a months-long investigation. It was stated that MI-5 was acting on a tip from a foreign government which uncovered the major terrorist plot linked to the radical Islamist terror organization and Iranian ally, Hezbollah.

 

Here is where everything becomes interesting and contains a political attempt to cover up the entire series of events as they came at an inconvenient time. What makes it all the more intriguing was that there was one suspect, a man in his forties, arrested in connection with the raids, though he was later released without charge. The fact that only one person was detained, and then no charges made concerning a plot of such size makes for numerous questions to arise. What had authorities so worried that there was a code of silence concerning the entire affair and no arrests, trials or other ramifications from a months long investigation. Presumably, citing “well-placed sources”, the report claimed that the terror plot had been disrupted by a covert intelligence operation “rather than seeking a prosecution,” which is puzzling. Where things become somewhat clearer is when we are told that this plot was timed during the time of the negotiations and pending of the Iran nuclear deal. This was where The Telegraph suggested that the matter was withheld from the public in order to keep “the Iran nuclear deal afloat.” Still, it was reported that the plot was so serious that then Prime Minister David Cameron and then Home Secretary Theresa May were personally briefed on the discovery of the explosive material. One need not read much further to see where to begin to look to see the origination of the demand that this be kept as quiet as possible and not to make any large display including arrests which could have led to some very uncomfortable complications. After all, this was around the point that the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) and we all knew instinctively that nothing, and we mean nothing, was to come between the P5+1 and the Iran deal.

The British public has every reason to be quite put out by such political suppression of such an important investigation to the point that there were no arrests or other actions taken beyond raids to impound the explosives while not pursuing further actions. We ask, how is it possible to have such a plot with three-metric tons of explosives but not have any people involved with the use of the explosives or even a group planning for its use. Nobody was found or even to be of interest to MI-5 or the London Police concerning what was definitively a major pending terrorist attack. This cover-up probably extended to high officials in the British government requesting the silence on whomever the unidentified foreign government which provided the initial tip to the British assisting in their preventing a potential tragedy. They were likely contacted and had the situation explained and thus the request for not reporting their efforts in preventing the attack. The threat of terrorism is far too great and is of great importance to the people of every nation. Such an attempt would be politically important as well as the right for the people to know the truth about the world we all live within. But the news and the ruling elite do not treat the people in all too many countries as being capable of handling the truth. Kind of reminds one of the critical lines from some movie. So, because the people are too unsophisticated, too ignorant, so delicate, so uneducated and so emotionally unstable that they are deemed not capable of living in a world where they are told what the reality actually is. This is why the news granted for public consumption is not the reality of the world but a picture of a world with just the right kind of problems which permit the political class to remain in power unchallenged and apparently with everything under control. Telling the people that a significant threat of a terror attack was planned in their precious city and was very probably prevented due to some unmentionable country providing a warning with sufficient information that MI-5 and the police could clean up the threat without even a ripple being told to those who were under this threat. Makes one feel as if the public is not entitled to the truth as they presumably cannot handle the truth.

 

 

This is where society has reached, the stage where there are two worlds, the one we are all left sleeping peaceably in our beds each night assured that all is well meanwhile the elites know the reality that they are fortunate that terror threats are discovered and it matters not by whom as long as the people are able to be left in blissful ignorance. This is a sad commentary on our societies as it provides a picture where the people are expected to simply accept the reality fed them by a coordination of the political class and their media allies. The media also does not believe that the people can handle reality, so they sell the people a story-line which lulls them into a sense of being fully protected and safe. The powers that be insist on keeping everyone within the lines they set out for the public and the media and the politicians work to provide as little of the real threats from being identified as it might upset their ability to be reelected, and that is all that matters, right? Why should the people expect for their ruling elite who are chosen time after time to return to their comfortable little jobs while the decision to place trust in these elected officials is all a mirage. So we have what is an important treaty in the wings, well, better not tell the people that those who the politicians are about to make a deal concerning the manufacturing of nuclear weapons were planning what would have been one of the largest terror attacks for somewhere in London to be executed by the terrorist groups which handles the worldwide terror network for the Iranians. The politicians wanted the treaty as it would allow for trade and making large profits for the people who really matter, so the regular folk need not be troubled with any such information which could be distressing. This goes double if it might make for difficulty in carrying on business as usual and making their financiers happy. So, rest easy, they made raids and took away all the explosives and nobody was responsible for the planned terror strike or for hiding three metric tons of explosives, it all just assembled all by itself without any human intervention. And not to worry, the people planning the attack would never attempt to try so again, they probably promised. You know, they promised that they would go home and never try such an attack as was spoiled again just as Iran has promised not to manufacture nuclear weapons or more advanced ballistic missiles, you know, just like the ballistic missiles they have been testing.
