Trump Peace Initiative Starting on Wrong Foot

President Trump’s Middle East economic package has been unveiled and it promises simply more of the same failure as we have seen before. Step one, promise to provide economic stimulus which will create jobs and provide economic opportunities for the average Palestinian Arab. This time they are talking about fifty-billion-dollars worth of stimulus. What exactly is the intention and how this plan can get beyond the same problems every previous plan had run into is beyond our ability to figure out. Perhaps it is the amount which is the intended difference as perhaps they are figuring that even the Palestinian deep pit cannot manage to pilfer, redirect and otherwise conceal such an amount. The Palestinian leadership has proven to be amongst the world’s best at stealing any and all funds invested. As displayed in the bar graph below, it is evident that the Palestinian Arab relief efforts far outpace those of any, if not all, the other needful places everywhere on the Earth. As any tour of Gaza will prove, even when provided with building materials, somehow, they build so many tunnels and bunkers such that they end up incapable of rebuilding much of the damage from even the war between Hamas with Islamic Jihad against the Palestinian Authority when Hamas took control of Gaza in a bloody coup. In each war, as time progressed, Hamas and the supportive NGO’s put forth the claim that Israel not only destroyed the same building from the previous engagements but caused further damage. The reality is the previous damages were never cleared or rebuilt; they were left in whatever condition they were when the fighting ended. Most of the buildings damaged or destroyed had been utilized as rocket-launching positions, ambush positions and other military uses with the intention of maximizing the damage done. Of course, this has been encouraged by the numerous NGO’s whose main purpose in life is to mar the Israeli reputation and to bring Israel before the numerous United Nations agencies and international courts for war crimes, crimes against society or any other criminal activities imaginable. The anti-Israel agenda has been turned into an industry which has been heavily financed by the Arabs and Islamic world as well as numerous far left institutions and funds. One can expect these NGO’s to line up to grab some of the pot of goal about to be dumped into the cesspool which is the Palestinian Arabs cause.

Mahmoud Abbas has made it quite clear that the “Pay-to-Slay” funds are paid out before any and all other items are funded. He has stated openly that even if the entire amount the Palestinian Authority was funded was equal to the funds necessary to cover the payments to terrorists, then it would all be utilized to pay the terrorists (see video below). Despite such a damning confession about the “Pay-to-Slay” being his first and foremost importance for funding above all else, the United Nations, European Union and numerous European countries and international NGO’s still swear that the Palestinian Authority is not encouraging terrorism. What is even more disturbing is that the highest paying position outside the leadership who are part of those who take a percentage of all funds provided their organizations is the murder of Israeli civilians. The Palestinian Authority even has an entire payment schedule which has been published (we have included one below). There is an even increasing amounts that are paid for the more Israelis a terrorist is able to murder. Then there are additional payments for specific other criteria such as if the terrorist has a family, is a resident of Jerusalem or a resident of Israel. Mahmoud Abbas has gone off the rails ever since President Trump announced the relocating of the United States embassy to the Israeli capital of Jerusalem. For Abbas, this was an aberrant act which was in direct opposition to the interests of the Palestinian Authority. What Abbas only states in Arabic and often not recorded is that the Palestinian Arabs cause is completely honest to the Khartoum Resolution of September 1, 1967, and the three no’s; “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” The only peace deal acceptable to the Palestinian Authority or to Hamas is any settlement in which Israel ceases to be the Jewish State and is instead returned to Islamic rule. This was the entirety behind the Khartoum conference.

Palestinian Authority Remunerations for Terrorists

Palestinian Authority Remunerations for Terrorists

Starting off this next peace initiative by promising to “invest” in the Palestinian economy is nothing new and the elites are probably already dividing up the funds and decided what minimal improvements they will use through which to distribute the funds to the right people who are in the loop and proven to share the wealth with all the right people. Theirs is a polished system through which how the cash enters their area of control, they have proven to be able to digest any amount of money regardless of the gross amount provided, but fifty-billion-dollars is the largest amount ever intended to be used to invigorate their economy and thus could be a real challenge. President Trump’s team has stated that this time the funds will be distributed with more care and will not be invested in the Palestinian leadership as has been the previous efforts. As the elites are all attached financially to the Palestinian leadership and likely to share the wealth which could be flowing into their coffers as this is necessary if they intend to live long enough to deposit their share of the funding. This latest approach to find the required means for hammering out peace between the Palestinian Arabs and Israel will be facing the same complex system which is quite practiced at distributing funds into the right people’s pockets including making sure that the “Pay-to-Slay” funds make their way to the true heroes of Palestinian society. These are also the people for whom roads, government buildings, schools, sports teams, sporting contests, parks, playgrounds and just about everything else including people’s first child’s name and some name all their children after terrorist murderers. Terrorism is the most glamorous of occupations, and it is considered an honorable profession. Such has become the attitude of Palestinian Arab society due to the indoctrination which children are exposed to as their educational curriculum. This is the societal norm which exists in the Palestinian Arab regions and the longer they are permitted to expend efforts at spreading their hatred of Israel and Jews to the Israeli Arabs is simply one more reason that the present ruling elites must be removed and preferably deported from all of Israel.

The reality of the Arab Israeli conflict is that the Palestinian Arab terrorism is just the latest form of warfare taken by the Islamic Arab world to destroy Israel. What this means is that there is no amount of money which could ever find a remedy to the conflict which the Arabs will accept if Israel remains the Jewish State. First item is that Islam, despite the fantasies politicians tell, is completely incompatible with democracy. Further, they are taught that the Jews are lesser beings requiring their Islamic better to care for them. We will skip exactly what caring for the Jews actually entails. From the promise of a slaughter “about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades,” by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at the start of the Arab War of Annihilation begun against Israel the morning of her founding on May 15, 1948; their intent has never wavered from this attitude. This was their intent in the 1967 Six Day War and again for the 1973 Yom Kippur War. After the Six Day War, the Arabs decided to also include terrorism to force the Jews to flee from their violence. This was an agreed tactic established actually in 1964 when the KGB working with the Arab League established the Palestinian Liberation Organization headed by two trained Arab KGB elements, Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas. Their purpose was to make life so horrific and dangerous for Israelis that the Jews would flee going back to the nations from whence they had come. This has not worked quite as well as the Arabs had planned as the numbers of Jews has continued to increase over time. There is one other item which is counterintuitive for anybody who believes the claims of the Palestinian Arabs and their propaganda elements. This is that despite claims that Israel has been attempting genocide and ethnic cleansing, the numbers of Palestinian Arabs has greatly increased over the years as well. This is but one of the numerous lies peddled by the Arabs concerning Israel and who is occupying whose lands. Under International Law, the eastern border of Israel is the Jordan River into the Golan Heights and to where it empties into the Dead sea and continuing south. Gestate on this for a while and look at a map and fairly soon one comes to the realization that the Palestinian Arabs are occupying parts of Israel, how’s that for an opposite to everything that the entire imbroglio has been built upon lies and other infirmities which threaten to have the Arab cause collapse should the world ever get past their disingenuous acceptance of the Jewish State. In time we will cover this further.

Israel in the News

Recently we received reports from around Europe and the United States informing us about the way Israel was being represented in political and other types of talk shows and other editorial musings. From what was being reported one would be led to believe that Israel assaulted Gaza without any provocations and were targeting selectively civilian targets. These opinion people referred to the rockets launched by Hamas and Islamic Jihad as purely defensive and targeting the Israeli positions. Such provocatively false accusations were, to say the least, quite upsetting. Apparently, the suffering by Israeli civilians in the southern communities close to the Gaza border to as far as Ashdod and Ashkelon and inland reaching close to Be’er Sheva is inconsequential. These were the targets of the seven-hundred plus rockets fired out of Gaza with the first half fired in such rapid succession as to only be possible if they were part of a coordinated attack. All of the rockets came far closer to civilian targets than to any military targets. Of course one would need to understand that to Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the plethora of anti-Israel enemies and other foes including numerous terrorist groups, Iran and apparently the mainstream Western media, for all of these a newborn baby in a carriage is considered a military target just as are senior citizens for the simply reasoning that should Israel be left fighting for her life, the baby may be old enough and the senior citizens frightened enough that all would take up arms in her defense. That makes them military targets according to the enemies of Israel. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ledger, every last individual Arab is a civilian casualty which can be prepared for the media to take their pictures to splash across front-pages everywhere depicting proof of Israelis targeting civilians. Never mind that the terrorists do not wear uniforms and when a terrorist is shot during battle, once their weapon, head bandanna, grenades, munitions and possibly one or two more items have been taken and given to their replacement, that leaves what can be photographed as a civilian casualty as he has no weapons or other things which might show that they were actually a combatant. For the record, this article lists the actual origins of the majority of those who died in Gaza as a result of the rocket barrage initiated from Gaza upon Israel.

The most damaging report was of a woman and her infant child which were claimed to be victims of the Israeli response to the onslaught upon Israel. Fortunately, Israeli defensive systems track every rocket, missile, mortar, artillery and other objects which come within its tracking. The mother and her child were actually the result of a misfire of an Islamic Jihad rocket which they finally admitted after Israel produced the tracking of the projectile which struck them. The problem is producing the tracking and enduring that the information can be verified by more than one radar station takes some time and then to get an admission from the terrorists takes even longer. By that time the news had reported around the world about how Israel murdered an innocent child and her mother which in many Western media was the lead story. Once the truth was revealed and Islamic Jihad forced to admit they had fired the fateful rocket, well, that piece of news simply fell between the cracks and all it accomplished was the talking heads stopped accusing Israel of this tragedy but they never retracted nor corrected their initial exuberant claims that Israel had murdered a child and mother. This has been the normal operating procedure of the media across the world and especially in Europe and the rest of the Western leftist media. So, we had media initially claiming that Israel initiated the exchange between Gaza and the southern regions in Israel. This was soon backed up with the story about the Mother and child being killed presumably by Israel. The initial report that Israel fired first was claimed because Hamas stated that they had not fired upon Israel. Great, did anybody care to ask Islamic Jihad or any of the other terrorist entities who have nested in Gaza. Of course, they had not, that would have been doing a thorough and complete job of investigative reporting. But when your aim is to vilify Israel, the only time you would question Islamic Jihad is if Hamas admitted they fired first, then if Islamic Jihad can report that they were fired upon first, then Israel obviously attacked Gaza. Blaming Israel first and foremost has become the mainstay of Western reporting and when they are proven to have been wrong, then they might quietly admit their error at three in the morning or on page C-56 of the next day’s paper. Editorialists do not even admit they were mistaken and many continue claiming that Israel fired first even when they have been proven to be wrong. Why they do this is because that is what many of their listeners desire hearing, how the Jews, Israel, is a monster targeting innocent people in their attempts to start to take over the world.

There are two things which many in Israel are reaching the end of their rope concerning, the terrorists and others threatening our extinction and the news presenting the reasons that such would benefit the world. We could easily list the things that without Israel would either have taken years longer to be invented, cures and medical procedures, defensive systems which protect people and vehicles from attack, agricultural techniques and hybrid plants which allow water savings plus we could go on for quite some time, but such things do not impress those who have already decided that Israel must be at fault. Israel is the new target for anti-Semitism. This does not mean to claim that old fashion anti-Semitism no longer exists, that is all too prevalent even if it is mostly overlooked by the news. We included two videos taken from a single day’s reporting showing two attacks upon Jews, one in New York City area and the other in Berlin. But the insanity of the world demanding for Israel to commit suicide reach some of the highest offices on the planet. This gem comes from the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay who insists that Israel provide Iron Dome for Gaza because Gaza is occupied by Israel and thus it is up to Israel to provide equal protection in Gaza as it does in Israel. Could somebody please bring this poor unfortunate woman up to speed that Israel left Gaza by mid-September of 2005 removing eight-thousand Jews and all IDF forces leaving the region to be developed by the Palestinian Authority who lost it to Hamas in 2007 and has been a terrorist base ever since. But why allow the facts to ruin a perfect soundbite that Israel is being selective in providing the benefits of her defensive marvel, the Iron Dome and only protecting Israelis and not protecting the terrorists who are attempting to murder Israelis. This is the same form of thinking which had Israel provide weapons for the Palestinian Authority Security Forces, weapons we might add have been used to murder Israelis.

These news reports claiming that Israel is the cause of all the problems in the Middle East and even the world are nothing new. This was the basis for the Tsarist fabrication titled, “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” which played upon a similar accusation which had been utilized by Arab and Ottoman leaders as their excuse for selectively victimizing Jews under their rule taking their wealth and possessions and, in some cases, executing them for the safety of their peoples. These blood libels also spread across Europe often peddled by the Church and later adopted by many Protestant leaders who proved their purity by burning Jews at the stake for their crimes against Christianity. These victimizing of the Jews resulted in providing the core of the Jews who established Israel. Initially, starting even before the mid-1800’s, but starting to take off during that half century, Jews left Europe and some left Arab nations and relocated to what would become Israel. They began the irrigation works and other improvements. After World War I with the Mandate System the British were to establish the Jewish state in their Mandated lands. Instead, the British took 78% of their Mandate, the lands east of the Jordan River and gave them to the Hashemite Royal Family founding Transjordan (later becoming Jordan). The British also imported, with much assistance from the Arab League, Arabs from across the Middle East and Egypt in an attempt to prevent the founding of Israel. Even with the Nazis seeking to relocate European Jews to Israel, the British flat refused, sentencing six-million Jews to die under the Nazis. Once the British left, European Jews who had no homes to return to came to Israel establishing the nation of Israel. Immediately after declaring independence, Israel was attacked by six Arab Armies in what they expected would be an easy war in which they would destroy the Jews once and for all. They failed and Israel survived though she lost control of Gaza and the Shomron (West Bank). Next, the Arab world spat out virtually all of their Jews resulting in eight-hundred-fifty-thousand Jews being relocated to Israel doubling her Jewish population and cementing a Jewish majority. Israel liberated Gaza and the Shomron in the 1967 Six Day War and the world has been attempting ever since to force Israel back to the initial lines of that war so the Arabs can have a do-over. Any Israeli leader who permits such to take place should be tried for treason. Israel should simply annex the Shomron and provide enticement for the Arabs residing there to relocate.

People claim that doing such an act would cause the world to become exceedingly upset with Israel and opposing her actions. Exactly how that would differ from what Israel currently faces has yet to be explained. What many of the leaders in the world today are fully cognizant about is that all of the lands west of the Jordan River belong to Israel under every form of international law one wishes to apply. This has been established when the United Nations General Assembly convinced the Palestinian Authority to challenge the legality of the terror separation barrier which according to the European and Third World experts was holy Palestinian Arab lands. What the Court at the Hague informed the Palestinian Representatives and their United Nations supporters was that Israel had every right to do whatever they felt was necessary anywhere west of the Jordan river as legally the lands belong to Israel. There was an advisory opinion issued as a cautionary warning by Egyptian Judge, Justice El Araby, from the ICJ and who sat in judgement as part of the panel which heard the case from the United Nations General Assembly in 2003 on the legality of the security barrier erected by Israel. The Honorable Justice El Araby warned the UNGA and others that filing further challenges of the legal claims to these lands ran some risks, as he stated,

“The international legal status of the Palestinian Territory (paras. 70-71 of the Advisory Opinion), in my view, merits more comprehensive treatment. A historical survey is relevant to the question posed by the General Assembly, for it serves as the background to understanding the legal status of the Palestinian Territory on the one hand and underlines the special and continuing responsibility of the General Assembly on the other. This may appear as academic, without relevance to the present events. The present is however determined by the accumulation of past events and no reasonable and fair concern for the future can possibly disregard a firm grasp of past events. In particular, when on more than one occasion, the rule of law was consistently side-stepped. The point of departure, or one can say in legal jargon, the critical date, is the League of Nations Mandate which was entrusted to Great Britain.”

Warnings do not get much more stark nor draw such clear lines as the one from Justice El Araby. His warning was taken to heart by the leadership of the Palestinian Authority as they have often threatened to take Israel before any and all of the various World Court Systems over a wide variety of claims all of which challenge Israeli sovereignty over any of the land but never ever have they even filed a memo at these courts. The rest of the world knows that Israel was cheated out of the vast majority of the British Mandate and accepted her fate simply due to an inability to fight the British at that time (or likely even now though, fortunately, there is no reason as of yet). One of the major problems being experienced by Israel is a lack of forward-thinking leadership which has the ability to stand firmly and demand the world permit Israel the rights and lands which were promised. The situation is easily seen by any with a desire to realize the truth of our reality. Israel is not even the size of New Jersey and if forced back to the pre-June 1967 lines would be barely nine miles wide at her width which also is the region surrounding Tel Aviv. Such a situation would place Israel on the flat coastal plains with the Arabs being able to mass along the Judean hills overlooking approximately 80% of the Israeli population, infrastructure, transportation, airfields, power generation, several nuclear power stations, the majority of Israeli sea ports and on and on. An opening barrage from these positions would leave Israel decimated even should she survive the ensuing war. What is needed in Israel is a leader who realizes this and is forward-thinking enough to realize that in the end, one way or the other, Israel must have the Jordan River and the deep Jordan River valley with its steep embankments on either side, which would protect Jordan from Israel just as it would protect Israel from attacks originating out of the east or northeast (Syria). This can come about through a relocation of the Palestinian Arabs just as the Arab world forced a relocation on its Jews. This was how such problems were settled between Poland and Germany; Russia and Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania; India and Pakistan; France and Germany; United States and Mexico and various other areas where land disputes have been settled. In the Israeli case, only the first initial half of the population transfers has occurred when the Jews from the Arab world were expelled and absorbed by Israel. The time is well past due for the other half of this equation to be enacted and it would be very helpful if somebody, say President Trump, came out in support of this solution and insisted it be enacted and it would be even better if President Putin, the Russian connection here, jumped on board. Below are a series of maps which explain the situation telling the story framing Israel and reality of her situation and why she requires the Jordan River as her eastern border without any Arab entity founded within her small frame.

When the World Offers no Solutions

Back in the year 2000 the world demanded that Israel surrender the final remainder of the areas liberated when they were captured during the Six Day War in 1967 and defended in the Yom Kippur War in 1973 and suffered numerous terror wars ever since. Israel was pressured to allow the Palestinian Authority to have an opportunity completely free of any and all Israeli support or interference and show their ability to form a functional society with a firm economy in Gaza. In 2005 Israel pulled all Israelis out of Gaza including every settler, every last of their dead were reinterred fearing what would happen if their graves were left behind. History has taught that their bodies would be desecrated if not removed and reinterred safely within Israel. Finally, the final steps were performed in early September of 2005 as the IDF closed their bases and after destroying that which could not be transferred, the final IDF forces left handing the keys, so to speak, to Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority. This was the stagnated state that Gaza remained stuck in as there was little or no effort at development or improving the life of the average Gazan and terrorism continued unabated. In 2007 the tipping point was reached and Hamas declared open warfare with the Palestinian Authority. In bloody fighting, Hamas persevered taking over Gaza and have ruled the region as a dictatorial power appointing each leader rewarding those who were the most active in their war to destroy Israel. Hamas allowed for Islamic Jihad to also set up in Gaza as well as to a lesser degree the Islamic State and a collection of other terrorist entities and criminal gangs. Gaza has remained in this hellish state without any attempts to establish any economic engine other than those necessary for their war on Israel and a small sector servicing the terror leaders and their families and the relative few who have gathered great wealth servicing the terror war or operating the black market.

The average Gazan has a bleak outlook of the future as the economic structure of Gaza deteriorates with every offensive against Israel. Hamas and Islamic Jihad always set their rocket launchers in neighborhoods other than their own and thus have slowly destroyed much of the Gaza Strip ruining economic opportunities and making more people destitute without any future worth living. It should be no surprise that the majority of Gazans would prefer nothing more than to relocate and live anywhere that life could approach normalcy. There has been a slow and mostly illegal emigration out of Gaza without any program to aid these Palestinian Arabs in setting up a new life. Currently, the majority of electricity in Gaza is provided by Israel. The majority of natural gas comes from Israel. Much if not all of clean water comes from Israel. The Hamas and Islamic Jihad elite make sure that these provisions power their homes and lives to a far larger extent than that provided the remainder of Gazans. This is the sorry excuse for the governance in Gaza and the economic situation which it has degenerated into threatens to make Gaza into merely a terrorist engine. As far as the Hamas rulers of Gaza are concerned, the lack any semblance of an economic engine for the majority of the entire region forcing more and more Gazans into terrorist ranks is great as makes their breeding of future terrorists a far easier endeavor. For Israel, Gaza is a problem with no easy solutions and one obvious one. The unfortunate reality is the world, led by Europe, refuses to even couch the only solution for the people of Gaza, Israel and Egypt, namely for Israel to sponsor an exit strategy for the Gazans who desire starting their lives elsewhere. The European Union demands that Israel deal with Hamas through Egypt or the United Nations making ceasefire after ceasefire which they know Hamas and Islamic Jihad will break within weeks leading to their demand that a new ceasefire be negotiated with Israel being made to pay an ever greater price in blood, the cost of the interceptors and the death and injury of her people along with the lost economic production. Perhaps the time has come to ignore the United Nations, the European Union, foreign governments and every other busybody and do what will serve both Israel and the Gazan people the most favorable results to solve the situation to the satisfaction of all involved who are not involved with terrorism.

The Two Gazas with One Pristine and the Other Ravaged

The Two Gazas with One Pristine and the Other Ravaged

The problem can be permanently resolved but only if the rest of the world simply allow Israel to resolve the challenge in a manner conducive to all involved by removing the terrorist governance and reintegrate the region under Israeli control. The first stage would come in response to the upcoming rocket barrage from either Hamas, Islamic Jihad or whatever Gazan terror outfit which decides to restart hostile action. Israel should provide the United Nations, European Union and the rest of the notable busybodies that the next failure to keep peace in Gaza will result in Israel retaking Gaza as was presumed to be what would be the result of any failure of the Palestinian Authority. As the Palestinian Authority lost control in 2007, Israel was supposed to retake Gaza immediately after Hamas took control. This was the promise of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and United States President George W. Bush when the Gaza pullout was agreed upon by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Well, when Hamas took over Gaza in a coup in 2007, those American politicians apparently had a very serious case of amnesia and Israel was not provided coverage by the American administration to retake Gaza as they had promised. The rest is, as they say, history. One of the problems is that every rocket which is detected and determined to likely strike an inhabited region, the interceptor launched to destroy each one coasts approximately fifty-thousand-dollars in order to prevent what is likely a fifty to five-hundred-dollar rocket. That is another price which Israel could live without its necessity. Every Israeli saved by the Iron Dome is priceless, but there is still a price attached to every interception. This situation as it currently exists is unsustainable for Israel and even worse for the people of Gaza.

The solution is to allow Israel to conquer Gaza removing the terror entities forcing their leadership into exile and starting to undo the ecological and economic disasters which have resulted from their terrorist governance and its complete lack of concern for the people and the ecological situation leading to the Gazan groundwater being unfit to drink. The lives of the average Gazan outside the wealthier strip along the Mediterranean Sea, lives in an ecologic disaster area where when the tires are being burned along the border and the wind changes and blows from out of the east, the air is choking, as already stated, the ground water is undrinkable and the economic opportunities are all but nonexistent outside of joining the terrorist armies. The solution is the same as was applied to Eastern Jerusalem where the Palestinian Arabs are permitted all rights outside of political and even there they are permitted to vote in Jerusalem and neighborhood elections. Their sole restriction is from national elections as this will need to await decisions on providing them with full Israeli citizenship at some distant time. The Gazans can be permitted to have political rights within Gaza and its cities but remain under Israeli security with the IDF being fully operational within Gaza. Gaza would be returned to Israeli rule with their former autonomy reversed as was supposed to occur should the experiment fail, which it did in magnificent fashion. As the Palestinian Authority has failed repeatedly to form a unified governance with Hamas and Islamic Jihad, then it should be the right for Israel to retake control over Gaza replacing their terrorist governance. No nation should or is forced to live with terrorist ruling a region on their borders, let alone a region which technically remains part of Israel legally. Once Israel removes Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the first step would be to offer Gazans with an incentive to relocate in such a manner that nations who desire to provide the Gazans with a place to relocate would receive incentives in proportion to the numbers they allow to relocate within their borders. The incentives will overcome the trepidation for some nations and these relocation incentives will be split between the Gazans and the nations accepting them. Then the rebuilding and cleanup of Gaza can begin. With time Gaza will once again become productive. This is the only means by which Gaza can be made livable for those who remain. Why the United Nations, European Union and so many others wish to force the Gazans to live under such oppressive and unhealthy an environment under terrorist rulers just to impose a constant threat against Israel is beyond disturbing. Such disregard for human life is horrifying and just causing Israel difficulties is not sufficient reason that these people to be left at the mercies of such horrific conditions and it does not serve Israel to permit this situation to fester. The time has come for Israel to exercise its rights under the original agreement reached for the Gaza disengagement and reestablish her rule over the region. And if such works in Gaza, then next it should be applied to the Palestinian Authority regions in the Shomron where there already is some level of such cooperation. The Palestinian Arabs should be permitted to enjoy much the same benefits as Israeli Arabs with the possibility of further political rights over time. Israel needs to do what serves her the best and if such improves the lives of Palestinian Arabs, then all the better.
