With Trust Broken Trust Renewed Again?

Thursday evening there was a nonevent taken place with Egypt again as the intermediary. Israel and Hamas signed an agreement for an end to the balloon and kite terrorist attacks as well as ending rockets, mortars and presumably all other forms of terror attacks utilized by Hamas. In return Israel extended the fishing distance into the Mediterranean Sea and other considerations. One might ask why Israel would enter once more into such an empty agreement knowing full well that as soon as Hamas or Islamic Jihad are ready or receive directions from Iran, the attacks will start anew. That is presuming that the attacks actually are terminated at all. The nice thing about this round of trust given-trust broken was that we did not have to wait all that long before the lack of reality of the treaty was revealed. Within twenty-four hours of signing the truce, there were approximately seven-thousand rioters launching balloons and setting numerous fires across the southern border with Gaza. Hamas will inevitably claim that these were ground swell demonstration which they are unable of preventing as they are an expression of the unease amongst their population. This is an unease promoted and paid for by Hamas and their sponsors in Iran. These attacks have grown beyond the ability and probably beyond the desire of Hamas to control. Hamas instigated these attacks as a means of employing the restless youth who seeking employ were unable to find anything in Gaza. This is due to the Gazan economy all but in total collapse.

It is well known that Hamas has made one of their main concerns to be fomenting attacks on Israel. This is what led to the last war over the launching of hundreds of rockets daily for over a week before Israel responded militarily. Since that confrontation, Israel has deployed the Iron Dome missile defense systems which have made rocket attacks almost harmless. The Iron Dome is capable of intercepting multiple rockets at a time. Their remarkable interception rate and ability to project where a projectile will land has permitted Israel to all but nullify rocket attacks from Gaza. Hamas initially responded with border riots and terrorist infiltration tunnels. Israel developed a system which was capable of detecting the tunnels and the ones beneath Israeli territory were destroyed. This led to the launching of incendiary kites. These fire-kites worked well but their range was limited, thus the next phase was launching these devices using balloons. These carried the explosive charge further into Israel and spawned additional fires away from the former fires still being extinguished.

Hamas has already claimed after the last treaty that they could no longer control these fire launchings as they had grown beyond their ability to control. Hamas had absolutely no difficulty in suppressing the large scale riots and protests against their misrule of Gaza but are unable to prevent a group of youths and young adults launching balloons. This will be their excuse behind the several thousands of rioters who flocked to the border launching incendiary laden balloons into Israel sparking a record number of fires for a single day’s protests on Friday after the truce was signed. Hamas has allowed these rioters to continue with their assaults on Israel leading to the end of the last truce which did not last twenty-four hours and this time is proving to be no different. Hamas signs truces with Israel not intending to alter their violence against the Jewish State but to use as an additional bludgeon to beat Israeli resistance to a halt. They have no intentions for slowing or stopping the arson attacks on Israel and will, with time, return to their tunneling beneath the border with infiltration tunnels intended for the murder and kidnapping of Israeli civilians and to launching rockets at Israeli communities including Haifa, Tel Aviv and other cities over time.

Negotiations with Hamas have proven ineffective in preventing or ceasing their violent activities targeting southern Israel. Time and again these conflicts have escalated until a larger and more encompassing Israeli interventions is launched. With Israel heading for elections again in September, Hamas believes this is the time to take advantage of Israeli avoidance of large-scale operations in Gaza or elsewhere. Their feeling is that Israel will remain vulnerable at least until the elections as Bibi Netanyahu is not anxious to have to explain to the public his actions when the majority of Israelis are not affected by the Hamas escalation of attacks. This will, unfortunately, merely act to encourage Hamas to escalate the situation climaxing the week before the elections. Their hope is that the Israelis will react by electing a government more conducive to granting them even further concessions. Concessions are a reward and will never act as an inhibiting factor for a deterrence curbing the violence and rioting. The unfortunate reality is that Hamas, like all of Palestinian Arab society and too many of the Middle East region, only understand strong military actions designed not to retaliate but as a preventive measure which had removed their ability to strike at Israel. Their current form of attack with balloons and kites would be impossible to inhibit unless Hamas has an interest in preventing their taking place. That has proven something elusive to the Israeli leadership as if they have forgotten every lesson of past dealings with Hamas.

Hamas Demands Arming Terror with Money

Hamas Demands Arming Terror with Money

Further, Hamas is demanding that Israel permit their monthly payments of millions of shekels be permitted by Israel. These are the funds which Hamas required in order to pay their people, this according to Hamas. What Israel need learn from Mahmoud Abbas and apply to Hamas is that the first and most important payments on their payrolls are those willing to harm Israel and potentially murder Israelis. None of the payments will be used to prevent violence against Israel but rather to pay for additional violence against Israel and the stockpiling of rockets for future wars on Israel. This has been their exact modus operandi and will continue as such for as long as Israeli leadership is willing to play the patsy to Hamas. There are two tactics which would prove far more effective but which apparently Bibi Netanyahu is unprepared to use. The easiest which would simply cause Qatari money to find a new route into Gaza. They would likely be required to bribe Egyptian authorities and even then, such would be an unlikely path as Egypt has caught Hamas assisting with attacks on Egyptian personnel in the Sinai Peninsula. The other tactic is straight forward, military might to be used to smash their tools of war. There exists another means of deterrence which would work which has yet to be applied, targeting the areas where the leadership of Hamas reside and the stores, restaurants and other entertainment facilities such that the leadership finally pays a price. The main reason for the temerity in this area is because they would not desire to open up such an area where Hamas terrorists might target them. The final means of ending the problems arising from Gaza, be it Hamas, Islamic Jihad or any other terror entity would be to drive all of Gaza from Israel depositing them in the Sinai Peninsula. Such an operation would require making preliminary arrangements with the Egyptian government so they could be prepared to arrest or otherwise detain the Hamas leadership and military commanders. What is so ridiculous is that were Israel to follow such a path, the world would condemn Israel and blame Israel for the incarceration of the Hamas top leaders, both military and political, as if there is any real difference. The difference is that were Israel to incarcerate the Hamas and Islamic Jihad leadership, the world would be screaming for their release. By having Egypt do so, the world would scream for Israel to arrange their release and Israel could simply claim that no such plan has proven acceptable to Egypt. The world would not bother attempting to force Egypt to release these terror leaders as they know it would have no effect. But the Israeli leadership refuses to escalate the conflict to such a level.

The honestly sad reality is that eventually the depopulation of Gaza will be the final result of the Hamas, Islamic Jihad et al terror war against Israel. Their education system, summer camps and their entire education system is geared to the production of future terrorists rather than educating for a normative society. Their emphasis is not on Mathematics, sciences, language and other areas which are required for a productive and normal society. This is not the aim of Hamas and their allies. They are interested in producing armies of terrorists ready for that day when they will be capable of bring down Israel. Their dream is to reach a similar state which Hezballah has assembled in southern Lebanon and is using to assist Bashir al-Assad in Syria where Hezballah has well over one-hundred-thousand rockets and missiles with many capable of striking anywhere in Israel. This is partly why Hamas has allied with Iran as it was Iran who armed Hezballah. This is partly why Hamas continually demands that their region allowed for their fishing fleets be expanded. They know that by increasing their area for fishing, they increase the area for smuggling in such weapons making Israeli deterrence and preventive measures far more difficult to apply. Their dream is to be gifted an international airport through which tons of such military provisions could be transferred without the opportunity for Israel to prevent such. The same applies to their insistence to have their ports open and is the essential demand of the flotillas which regularly attempt to run the blockade which permits Israeli inspection of provisions before passing them on into Gaza. Currently, these inspections usually take under twenty-four hours with most provisions passed through the same day as they arrive. Stopping the so-called humanitarian supplies is another means of harming Hamas as any provisions which the terrorists do not have to expend funds on is simply more money for terrorism. Israel has permitted on several occasions for building supplies to be permitted into Gaza which should have rebuilt all the damages from the wars. Almost nothing has been rebuilt as these building provisions have been used for building bunkers, tunneling networks, underground rocket firing positions and infiltration tunnels. It has been figured that Hamas could have build several schools and apartment buildings with the materials used in a single infiltration tunnel. Multiply that by the dozens of tunnels and all of Gaza could have been made immaculate instead of remaining in ruins. There are literally two Gaza’s, the one where Hamas leadership lives and the one where they place their rockets and mortar positions knowing that return fire will destroy the area surrounding the position (see images below). This is why we have often suggested that instead of return fire solely on the launch site, but also lobbing a small artillery round at a single target in the thus far pristine regions and start allowing the difficulties caused by this constant state of war to be shared by those responsible. The reality is that each rocket fired into Israel, every balloon launched into Israel, every kite carrying explosives into Israel and every tunnel dug under the border into Israel all originated with the leadership of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. We may find that some rounds of violence from Gaza may have been ordered even further away in Iran which opens up a plethora of future possibilities.

The Two Gazas with One Pristine and the Other Ravaged

The Two Gazas with One Pristine and the Other Ravaged

The entire Arab Israeli conflict will have only one of two eventual results. The obvious one is no more Israel, something much of the world appears not only willing but anxious to bring about, and the other is a defeat brought forth by Israel such that no Arab for a thousand years would even give a glancing evil look in the direction of Israel out of fear for their life. Such results have historic precedence. In almost every case where the Arab forces have been prevented from extending their rule further has been as the result of a military defeat which was unequivocally severe and ubiquitous for preventing their reorganization and returning to attack again. Such defeats in history include but are not limited to the Battle of Tours, the Spanish Inquisition, the ending of the Second Siege of Vienna when Polish King John III Sobieski relieved Vienna bringing his entire army south for the effort after reaching agreements with his neighboring countries to not invade while his forces performed this holy duty, and of course World War I marked the end of the Ottoman Empire. Granted, Israel will not be required to go to such extents but the world will still howl as if Israel had committed a war crime unprecedented in human history.

Never mind that virtually every battle and war before the modern era would have constituted a litany of war crimes committed by both sides as making warfare a more benign action is a recent insanity. This has led to the concept of proportionality, which President Trump just used to justify his recall of the strike upon Iran. There has never been any war where proportionality was utilized by either side, let alone the victorious side. The overriding use of force in warfare has been an attempt at imposing disproportional damages, casualties and defeats upon the enemy. Some small examples of such acts of disproportionality include the nuclear bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima at the end of World War II, the Rape of Nanking by Japan in World War II, the Bataan Death March during World War II, the Shoah extermination of over twelve-million undesirables by the Nazis in death camps, the use of poison gas during World War I, the entrance of the machine gun (Gatling gun) in the American Civil War, the Roman conquests, the Greek conquests, the Persian conquests and on throughout history warfare has been a contest of which side was capable of imposing the greater amount of disproportionality inflicted upon their enemies. Whenever proportionality is used, it is usually to impose severe constraints on one side preventing them from actually defeating the threat facing them. This is the main reason for its use all but exclusively against Israel. There were no intents at proportionality in the recent efforts in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Balkans or any of the conflicts which have taken place since World War II which brought in the modern era with concepts of war crimes, crimes against humanity and proportionality as the means of preventing wars from reaching actual conclusive endings which has served to actually prolong conflicts as since neither side was able to inflict a complete defeat using disproportional force after their enemy was defeated but refusing to surrender, their having to stop due to world pressures only led to the conflict resuming at a later date leading to far more damage and higher casualties than had the initial efforts been permitted to reach a permanent solution. The other thing which we have noted is that proportionality has only been demanded from nations considered to be Western nations. This has been applied to India in their running conflict over Casmir against Pakistan. There were some who were worried that during the period that India had nuclear warheads and Pakistan did not, that India might actually use these weapons to impose finality on their conflict with Pakistan. Unamusingly, once Pakistan also had nuclear weapons this fear of their use bringing on a disproportional end to the conflict dissolved and was never equaled by the fear of a nuclear war breaking out and both sides decimating the other’s civilian populations in many of their major cities. But evidenced by the virtual universal use of disproportionality is the United States coming in second and Israel the easy winner as virtually every action taken by Israel is condemned for being disproportional. There have been people and groups who have bemoaned the fact that Israelis are being saved by the Iron Dome and Gazans have no such system; thus, they have demanded that Israel provide Hamas with the Iron Dome systems. This is the end result of the logic of proportionality and these are the ends of ridiculousness the world has reached in their hatreds towards the Jewish State. There will be an end to this conflict some day and the world can only pray that Israel proves the victor as any other result will spell doom for the world.

Looking for Help in All the Wrong Places

Read a news flash a couple of days ago and was simply amazed at the inanity of the acts reported. According to the report, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu held a brief press photo op with the Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini in Jerusalem. Initially, after Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini was escorted into the office, Prime Minister Netanyahu can be seen pointing to a map of the region in or about the Israel-Lebanon border (video posted below). Then they exchange greetings and the Israeli Prime Minister thanks the Italian government for providing one of the commanding officers for UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon) and stated that he has a difficult position but needs to step up and fulfill their mission and prevent such incursions and other threats posed by Hezballah in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 limiting actions and presence of Hezballah south of the Litani River. The UNIFIL forces are positioned along the border with Israel well south of the Litani River tasked to prevent the militarization of the border by Hezballah, not an enviable task. The closing statement was a quasi insistence for the international community to address the recent incursions via infiltration tunnels by Hezballah into Israel. Israeli Defense Forces have recently uncovered several of these tunnels using the same technology they used to uncover the tunnels out of Gaza dug for the last several years by Hamas with assistance by Islamic Jihad. The reality of the situation is that Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezballah are all in the service of Iran and share their technology of tunneling while also providing rocket technology, and have lately been providing Hezballah with guidance systems to transform their lonest range rockets into precision guided missiles capable of striking any location in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu has already stated that this providing of these guidance systems to Hezballah is the crossing of a red line, which is endangering Israelis, and the safety of Israel and her future.

The pleading for international assistance in addressing the threats posed by Hezballah with Iranian assistance is almost laughable. Turning to the United Nations for assistance, even if it is to enforce their own United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, will fall on deaf ears. As it is, reports by the Wall Street Journal of the ineptitude of the UNIFIL forces in fulfilling their mission of preventing Hezballah from reestablishing their rockets, weapons, bunkers, tunneling and other infrastructure including stashing weapons in residential homes. The people who reside in these homes have no say in the decision, they either allow Hezballah to store rockets, launchers and weapons in their homes or they are evicted or worse, murdered. Iran has been utilizing civilian flights into Beirut International Airport to supply Hezballah with advanced weapons and the guidance systems. Iran has even gone so far as to upgrade weapons factories in Lebanon originally utilized by the IRGC to manufacture weapons for the Syrian civil war. Hezballah has weaponized the entirety of the region across the border from Israel and, for those paying attention to international news, have realized that Israel has uncovered at least two infiltration tunnels reaching into Israel from houses in Lebanon. All of this despite the presumption that Hezballah has been observing the limitations of UNSC Resolution 1701, which makes the entirety of the region of southern Lebanon pictured in the map below, supposed to be denied them by the UNIFIL forces.

Map of UNIFIL Demilitarized Region

Map of UNIFIL Demilitarized Region

It is the completely ridiculously ineffectiveness of the United Nations forces in southern Lebanon. To be entirely honest, we can understand that they would not care to fight a war for Israel in southern Lebanon, which is exactly what it would take to prevent Hezballah from doing whatever they desire. The main deterrence the UNIFIL forces pose is on Israel, preventing any intervention by Israel to weaken Hezballah or to use rockets, missiles, tank fire or other explosives to destroy the Hezballah munition stores. They also prevent any infiltration into Lebanon by Israel for reconnaissance or other means of sabotaging Hezballah positions. Israel is left to attempt to mitigate tunnels and other means of infiltration being built by Hezballah and worse, wait until Hezballah chooses the time of the next war. When Hezballah does attack Israel, which very well could come at the end of the Syrian civil war, they could very easily be supplemented by IRGC forces with heavy weapons attacking across the Golan Heights or even sweeping through northern Jordan and attacking from south of the Sea of Galilee. Israel would also be facing endangering those very same UNIFIL forces which are providing Israel no enforcement of the UNSC Resolution 1701 and simply watching as Hezballah rearms and rebuilds their military infrastructure south of the Litani River and upgrading their weaponry with generous assistance from Iran. Israel would be unable to immediately respond to any Hezballah offensive strikes until the UNIFIL forces have been provided ample time to remove themselves from the battlefield. They might even be held to their position by Hezballah in order to use them as human shields preventing any proper and all-out Israeli response. Israel need learn the simply lesson, nobody is going to risk their troop’s lives to enforce anything imposed on any terrorist group be it Hezballah, Hamas or any of the Arab militaries which the nations surrounding Israel have attacked with in the past. Israel should never again seek United Nations “protective services” as that only opens up other nations to becoming victims of Israeli fire, even more so should they be kept from leaving to serve as human shields. Those who may wish to mock such an idea really need to reconsider their position as they are dealing with terrorists who largely do not care about the lives of the children they use as human shields, do you believe they value UNIFIL troops’ lives with any greater regard? There will be another war started by Hezballah when they decide it is to their advantage or when Iran decides it is to their advantage. Should Iran make good on their threat to disallow any oil shipments to leave through the Straights of Hormuz should President Trump place an embargo on Iranian oil shipments, it would be tantamount to a declaration of war. Were Iran to follow through on their threat and sink even a single supertanker or the United States Naval vessels escorting such a tanker, they would be really needing something which would grab global attention and fast. Having Hezballah start a war with Israel while preventing the UNIFIL forces from departing just begging for a single Israeli round of artillery, tank fire or aircraft fire to strike any UNIFIL forces and Iran with whomever allies with them screaming about Israel murdering international observers in the United Nations General Assembly; that would be the perfect foil to take the heat off of Iran, at least for a moment or maybe a week or two. What the world has in place in southern Lebanon is a ticking bomb simple waiting for Iran to light the fuse with the full intent of sacrificing every last UNIFIL troop stationed in southern Lebanon so as to get the maximum protection against the Israeli Defense Forces and to have the world denounce and scold Israel for not simply absorbing six to ten weeks of rocket and missile fire and infiltrations from Lebanon by Hezballah while the United Nations attempted halfheartedly to extract the UNIFIL contingents all while demanding Israel stand down to protect these precious lives. After all, is not every UNIFIL troop worth at least five or six hundred Israeli’s lives? Trust me that the world will demand exactly such from Israel while they argue in futility with Hezballah to release the UNIFIL troops which Hezballah will claim are protecting the lives of Lebanese from Israeli military actions which Hezballah has been responding to as Israel started it by existing. And yes, there is absolutely no room for sanity in any of this as any other nation in the world would not stand for such on their border. If you want proof, we give you the Islamic State which Russia and the United States plus the European nations traveled as far as half way across the globe to address that terror problem which was not threatening any of these nations. There is your truth and in the meantime Israel has been searching out tunnels used for infiltration from Gaza and Lebanon and will only be a matter of time before Israel will be required to check along the Golan Heights for tunnels made by the IRGC when Iran deems it necessary. Do not get this wrong, all of these forces sitting perched to attack to try and destroy Israel are under the puppet-master’s strings and that puppet-master is the Iranian Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He may also hold the lives of the UNIFIL forces stationed in southern Lebanon as they may end up hostages serving as human shields.

Gaza Heading for Final Confrontation

The Hamas government in cooperation with Iran and the other terror leaders has decided on a steady infestation of violence along the border with Israel. They have found a low-tech means of launching explosive devices by using helium balloons and kites to set much of the surrounding farmland in Israel alight. These efforts have burned down many millions of dollars of crops and equipment as well as destroyed square miles of protected forests and wildlife reserves. They use their youth, largely people under thirty and most less than twenty years of age. The claims are these are spontaneous demonstrations which just happen to, more often than not, increase every Friday afternoon resulting from sermons calling them to action by their Imams. To believe this, one needs to ignore the claims that Hamas pays families to come to these outbursts in order to be part of the photo-ops which the media uses to prove these are completely innocent and peaceful protests, well, except for the riots, the firebombings, the explosive devices, the thrown grenades and the snipers who shoot at the IDF troops from behind the youths attempting to destroy the border fence. Does the United Nations call emergency sessions to condemn the violence on the Gaza border? That is reserved for when Israel responds and takes steps to quell the violence such as came when Israel responded to the initial surge back around the end of last March. For the next emergency session of the United Nations General Assembly, simply wait for the next time Israel feels forced to act against the continuing Gaza violence. This is the norm at the United Nations as the only time there is an emergency is when Israel defends herself.

Hamas has not been resting on their laurels as they are continuing to dig tunnels into Israel even to the point of one which tunneled out under the Mediterranean Sea trying to find an alternate route the Israelis might not detect. These tunnels have mostly, if not completely, been detected by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and summarily exploded. Hamas has put so much effort and use of funds into these tunnels, that had they used the material and efforts to rebuild the structures damaged in the last three wars Hamas forced upon Israel, they could have rebuilt all the damaged structures, built some new schools, two new hospitals and at least a half dozen clinics. For a map of these tunnels, please study the map below. Just this week, Israel was required to destroy another of these infiltration tunnels, one might call them attack and kidnap tunnels as this is what is their intended use, once more this week (see map below). There have been fifteen of these tunnels found and destroyed by Israel. We pray that that has also been the complete number such that we do not awaken one morning to some horrific news of some town, village, kibbutz or other region close to Gaza had people slaughtered and their children kidnapped. Even should such a terrible even occur, we still would not expect the United Nations General Assembly to be called into special session that morning. They would be called into special session the following morning after Israel responded with a major incursion into Gaza in an attempt to rescue the children. The Israeli response to such an act of violence and the abduction of her children would be roundly condemned by a vote which would resemble one-hundred-fifteen condemning Israel, twelve voting against that condemnation and thirty or so abstaining, voting present or simply voting absent. It will be at the future times such as this where Nikki Haley will be most missed.

Hamas Infiltration Tunnels Dug into Israel

Hamas Infiltration Tunnels Dug into Israel

Meanwhile, on the other front with the Palestinian Authority (PA) and its terror base, Israeli suffered having a thirty-two-year-old IDF reserve soldier being wounded in a stabbing attack near the Samaria Regional Brigade Base. According to reports, a twenty-six-year-old Israeli woman who was in the area was also lightly wounded. These attacks are in addition to the recent attacks in which Ziv Hagbi, Kim Levengrond Yehezkel and Ari Fuld were murdered by Arab terrorists from the PA ruled regions. Returning to Gaza, the confrontations and increased use of grenades and explosive incendiary devices as well as shooting at IDF positions and the burning of an abandoned forward position which was not used since the early violence had forced a response by the IDF. There has been increased movement and apparent reinforcement at some of the most critical points around Gaza. Despite these threats, Israel has attempted to continue to deliver critical aid to Gaza but has faced Hamas refusal of the aid or their simply taking the aid for their own use or for sale on the black market. Hamas refuses to distribute international aid as by keeping the Gazans starved economically, they can more easily control them through distribution of the aid they have confiscated and meanwhile gain funds for their terror funding. Hamas further can use the economic ruin of Gaza as a stick with which they strike at Israel with the United Nations echoing, actually amplifying, blaming Israel for the impoverishing of Gaza which is caused by Hamas.

The problem is what may be about to come upon the world yet again, that the actions of Hamas aided by Islamic Jihad and Iran may escalate their violence on the border with Israel leading to the Israeli government having little choice but to finally respond. Then we will most definitely see any number of meetings of the General Assembly and calls for the Security Council to intervene in order to end Israeli aggression. Israel has faced almost seven months filled with violence and attacks against Israel causing the destruction of the livelihoods of all the farming cooperatives and individual farms and the destruction of forests and wildlife reserves and not a peep out of the United Nations. Now, should Israel finally act after over half a year of regimented and ever increasing destruction to the surrounding countryside with intermittent firing of rockets, then we will hear the United Nations General Assembly decrying the awful and unprovoked violence of the IDF and the misuse of military power by the Israeli government all without any perceived aggression against Israel. The Israelis who reside near Gaza have been living under constant threat for this entire period with their warning sirens of the Red Alert System going off where many were false triggers, fortunately. Still, there have been a couple of dozen rockets fired this year and the increased actions along the Gaza border is often the pressures to large escalations with numerous rockets being fired for a couple, three, four days and then a claim that Hamas has agreed to an Egyptian brokered ceasefire. This is more often a ruse as they do this in an attempt to prevent any Israeli response. Meanwhile, the United Nations General Assembly will be standing in the ready to react to any Israeli response decrying the Israeli escalation of the violence and demands that Israel cease their unwarranted and excessive violence against the innocent people of Gaza.

People often query as to what will be the final determination which will end this cycle of violence between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs. The actual answer is obvious and will never be accepted by the United Nations General Assembly or their agencies such as UNESCO, Human Rights Council, UNICEF and almost any other agency and the vast majority of their NGO structure. There are only two possible ends to this conflict. Either the Arab forces will realize their desired revenge and every Jew and many others in Israel will be murdered in a great bloodletting or Israel will end up forcing the Palestinian Arabs across the Jordan River and sweep Hamas and Islamic Jihad into the Sinai Peninsula which will not end the violence but will at least now make the terrorists act from within foreign nations. We believe that eventually, hopefully before not too many more on both sides have their lives taken, there will come an Israeli government which decides they will no longer live with the current insanity as the daily normal. They will take the leadership of the PA, the PLO, Fatah and the PA Security Forces and send them into exile denoting them as persona non-gratas. The Israeli government will offer the Palestinian Arabs to buy their property and give them a generous resettlement reward if they choose to leave the region which is legally Israel and settle elsewhere. Those Arabs who are honest and desire a real new start in life will take this offer and we will wish them the best and wave good-bye. The ones who remain will be told they will be treated as resident foreign aliens and should they find any having any connection with terrorism, those such connected will be sent into exile and labeled as persona non-gratas. These Arabs will be permitted to receive a buyout of their property should they decide to leave Israel within the next year. After this, the remainder, should they decide to leave Israel, will only receive any reimbursement for their property if they should fund a buyer. But there is another front which will be a more difficult problem.

The Gaza front is completely different than the PA regions, as the PA ruled area is actually part of Israel and they have their current semiautonomous governance but only as long as Israel will suffer their presence, because the Hamas governance in Gaza took control of what was supposed to have been a region where the PA was given complete autonomy of the region in order to prove their viability as an actual operating state. The coup by Hamas placed them ruling over this region which Israel had released her claims to Gaza. This means that Gaza could be recognized as an actual nation and is not occupied by Israel in any way. Yes, Israel has placed a blockade on the virtual nation of Gaza once the terrorist group Hamas took control in 2007 replacing the PA in control of the region. Before Hamas took control of Gaza and after August 2005 when Israel removed her presence in Gaza, completely to the last individual, there was no blockade and Gaza was able to trade with anyone directly. It was upon the coup when Hamas took over Gaza and murdered a large number of the PA security personnel and governing officials, many of which were simply taken to the roof of the tallest buildings in Gaza City and sent them to the road below by the fastest route available. This was when Israel found it necessary to blockade Gaza from direct shipments, having all trade unload at the docks in Ashdod where the goods are processed for military materials and then passed directly into Gaza. Israel ships tons of goods into Gaza daily, even when there are active hostilities between Hamas and Israel. The final solution to the Gaza threat will come once the PA has been settled and most, if not all, their resident Arabs taking the Israeli offer and will have relocated outside Israel allowing Israel to simply recognize Gaza as a nation. Once this has been accomplished, any aggressions against Israel from within Gaza would be treated as acts of war. This could lead to a final solution as Israel could, after sufficient aggressive actions, declare war against Gaza and once defeated, the citizens of Gaza could be deported from the region as a result of this war. That would be the advantage to recognizing Gaza as an independent nation, which is actually a valid recognition as Israel has already ceded the land to the PA which lost this region in a violent coup. That left Hamas holding lands which Israel had ceded her ownership to the PA which makes Gaza technically a nation which could be named Hamasland. As a nation, Hamasland could be held responsible for acts of aggression and her people forced from the region should the area be lost to Israel in an actual and real war between nations. Such a war can result in the relocation of the entire population which has many precedents throughout history, and will be the likely end of violence with Gaza. If the citizens of Gaza are permitted to remain, they will be resident aliens without a nation. Why is it that Israel is so lucky as to get all the new and unusual situations and making these situations that may result in new conditions and populations, which if the situation was any other nation (with the possible exception of the United States) would be permitted to initiate a final and definitive solution which could easily include the resettlement of large populations in result of responses to violence and acts of war. Hamas will have to be removed from Gaza, and whatever is the result with the population, they must never be permitted to reengage in terrorism and should any feel such a need, they would need face exile and persona non-gratas status. Should Israel ever be forced to reconquer and take full control over Gaza, the resultant resolution for that population would require their being prevented from resuming terror acts and other forms of violence against Israel (and also Egypt). This would require their being denied, at least initially, any form of self-rule as the result of an election in Gaza produced the Hamas majority in the last PA sponsored elections in 2005. It was in Gaza where Hamas received a comfortable majority which has been reported as being over three-quarters of the vote totals. Their support for Hamas in Gaza was partly responsible for the takeover by the terrorist group in 2007. This is why the population of Gaza would need to be deHamasized in a similar manner as Germany had to be deNazified after World War II. That would also be a very difficult form of deprogramming, as for these people their support of Hamas is steeped in their religious beliefs and thus next to impossible to change by any normal means. This is why their being relocated is actually the only real solution which would remove any threat from rematerializing. That is the difficulty which the world would ignore as they would demand that Israel allow the people of Gaza to have self-rule if they promise to forgo terrorism. That is right; Israel would be demanded by most of the world to take their word that they would act civilly in the future as if there is no such thing as Taqiyyah in Islam. But why should the world worry about their honesty as they would not be the targets of the forthcoming terrorism, Israel would and that is just fine with the remainder of the world, well, most of them. The solution is to first recognize that there is no solution to the problem and thus the only true solution is the complete removal of the troublesome populations from the region and doing so with such finality that nobody would dare question the action.
