Democrat Party Opposes Israel Again

 

There were more statements by Democrat Party Presidential hopefuls stating that aid to Israel should be used to force Israel to surrender more lands to the Arabs. They are falsely claiming that “official United States policy” supports the two-state solution. The actual official position for the United States is fully defined under the The Anglo American Treaty of 1924 in which the United States joined the rest of the allies of World War I in support for the Mandate System and the Balfour Declaration including the provisions from the San Remo Conference. All of these paint a very simple picture, under international law, Israel has the rightful possession and ownership of all the lands west of the Jordan River stretching to the Mediterranean Sea. That includes the regions of Judea and Samaria or the Shomron or West Bank, no matter what you choose to call these regions, it all still belongs to Israel and that is the official United States policy under treaty. But why should we expect any historic knowledge to have any influence when the popular leftist belief is Israel is pure evil and should be punished simply for attempting to exist and have relative safety. We have spoken of this before and expect the position on Israel with the Democrat Party to simply continue to slide to an ever harder and rash position as time progresses.

There are those who have proclaimed that supporting Israel has become a partisan issue with the Democrat Party taking a strict line supporting the Arab Palestinian demands and insist that Israel is the obstacle to peace while the Republican Party has pledged to support Israel completely without regard for the propriety of their actions. Knowledgeable Zionists paying attention would probably give a less optimistic view of the United States. They would likely agree on the view given describing the positions of the Democrat Party but partially missed the reality about the Republican Party. Many of the old guard elite and the alt-right are completely opposed to even the idea of a Jewish State believing the founding of Israel was a grievous mistake of judgement and point to all the difficulties as their proof. What is true is that, despite the accusations of his being anti-Semitic, President Trump is a strong supporter of Israel which has been proven by his actions including recognizing Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel and Israeli ownership of the Golan Heights. President Trump’s “Deal of the Century” has still to be released and that will be the final exam on how far he will back Israel. The rumors have run the gauntlet from it all belongs to Israel to some form of the two-state solution. Of course, anything short of it all belongs to Israel falls short of international law and obligations as written in existing treaties. This reality will become completely evident when the problem is adjudicated on the stage of the World Courts in Geneva. Just to place a cherry on top, Article 80 of the United Nations Charter also places the power of the United Nations in support of the Mandate Systems as defined by the League of Nations.

 

All of this is not something which should come as much of a surprise to most people. All one need do is read just a little about the atmosphere at virtually any of the top and largest colleges and universities and their progressive articulation of every problem in the world. The propensity of these campuses is to hold BDS conventions, Palestinian Solidarity Weeks and a plethora of other anti-Israel demonstrations and events. Add to this that their teachers often hold hard leftist positions which leads to their lessons slanting against Israel seeking to meet the demands of heavy Islamic pressures which come with their donations and founding of Middle East departments with the professors all meeting the criteria set by the donors. AOC along with Tlaib and Omar are the new Democrat norm along with Sarsour and almost all, if not all, of the Democrat hopefuls for President in the upcoming 2020 elections in America. This slides towards ending the good relations between the United States and Israel. The State Department has opposed Israel since her inception. The Defense Department has supported Israel as their testing grounds of their equipment in actual combat. This has led to some crucial adjustments to military hardware which were overlooked during their design. Fortunately, as pointed out in the article linked above, Israel is no longer dependent upon aid from the United States which now does more for providing sales for the American defense industries. If necessary, Israel could resume producing their own aircraft, the first since the Lavi fighter which was the initiating factor to the Israel-American military cooperation.

Dependent upon which party takes control of the White House and Congress in the 2020 elections will be whether the United States will continue their friendly relations with the Jewish State of Israel. The reality is that politics is heading away from Israel and eventually rejecting everything related to the Judeo-Christian ethics. This shift in the politics of the entirety of the Western World will inevitably lead to their complete break with Israel blaming Israel for being the originating force behind the Judeo-Christian ethics and continuing to believe in the core beliefs which would become the eventual basis for Western society. The newest view is that Western civilization spawned all the world’s evils despite being the driving force which has eradicated the vast majority of slavery and numerous other evils. But the new view of the social sciences is behind much of this as it rejects any goodness resulting from Western civilization. Should everything reach what is the obvious end of these teachings and philosophy, Israel may end up as the last bastion of Western Judeo-Christian ethics. What will be unfortunate of such an eventuality is that Israel may not find any allies to stand with her and, if fortunate, will find at least a few nations who will not stand against her. Europe may already be on the verge of becoming lost as far as Western and Judeo-Christian society being at its core and replacing it with Sharia and the United States along with the remainder of the Western world might not be all that far behind. The Democrat Presidential hopefuls, some of the new members of Congress and the long-standing anti-Israel position taken by the Congressional Black Caucus all indicate the continuing movement which will lead to Israel being rejected by United States political leadership. Currently, such would be largely a part of the Democrat Party, but this does not excuse Republican Party which will probably follow along behind the current trends. Prophesy expected there to come a time when Israel would be forced to stand alone. This has never looked more possible than when watching the current political rhetoric.

Lapid Using Liberman to Shoot for the Stars

 

Everybody knows the worst kept secret in Israel, Yair Lapid has designs of replacing Bibi as soon as he can get elections and then he is aiming to replace the Heavenly Choir. Yair Lapid thinks very highly of himself and his silver tongue which has gotten him far in life. His ability to set dulcet tones to the lyrics written on his teleprompter should remind people of another great speaker whose heart was cold and calculations have placed the Middle East in jeopardy by strengthening Iran. That sweet talker was President Obama, the still revered leftist who used Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals to take the already radical Iran and use an injection of Russian military airpower to reinstate al-Assad and Iran in a power position in Syria and with Hezballah in Lebanon while allowing Hamas to reunite their ties with Iran who are looking like the strong horse. These also emboldened Turkey to attempt and solve their Kurdish problem with another genocide which will be denied while it is occurring. All the wrong players in the Middle East are now playing more powerful positions and Russia is stuck in the quicksand.

 

Where would Yair Lapid fit into this formula? He would be the next installment in what next can go wrong. Lapid is very talented at telling everybody what they wish to hear. He will tell much of Israel that he is strictly a Zionist and stands to the right of Netanyahu. He will tell the university crowd that he strongly supports all versions of individual rights and the Two State Solution is the central spine of his Middle East policies. He tells the labor union that he stands one-hundred-percent behind Histadrut and supports stronger worker mediations. Basically he is the chameleon who stands before any crowd and adopts their greatest hopes and fears into reality and instantly becomes their best hope. Lapid only really believes in three things, his visceral distaste for everything religious, especially Jewish; his belief that he can find a gift so worthy that he will found two states for two people even if both those people will end up as Arab states and the Jews vanquished, and Lapid believes in Lapid and would claim to be the Messiah if he believed in the Messiah. All in all, the three things are all actually just ways for aggrandizing the last one, Yair Lapid.

 

Yair Lapid Enticing Avigdor Lieberman into Challenging Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu

 

Lapid is also very good at wrapping people into his plans by making them promises, some which he would actually keep. Currently Yair Lapid wants one thing and only one thing, a means to replace Bibi Netanyahu as Prime Minister. His plan is so painfully obvious; it would take a deaf, dumb and blind man not to see it. Currently, Lapid is planning to drive a wedge between Yisrael Beytenu leader, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman and his boss, Prime Minister Netanyahu. The weapon is the Haredi draft bill which has been laboriously hammered out to almost everyone’s satisfaction. Lapid has been whispering into Lieberman’s ear telling him of all the power he will bestow upon him when he makes his coalition after new elections. Unfortunately for Bibi, Lieberman has been soaking the praise and lauding up like a schoolboy receiving praise from his favorite teacher. The fact that Lieberman and his party share much of Lapid’s dislike for the religious is not a secret but this new draft law was drawn up extracting almost everything possible from the religious parties and is actually a fair and tough bill. But Yair wants elections and is willing to do anything to get them and to get them now. So why is it so important to get elections immediately?

 

That is an easy one to answer. Currently Bibi is, as usual, under a myriad of investigations and has been recommended for being brought to trial once more by the police who never tire of rejections. They were unable to get a single charge leveled against Bibi with a far more leftist Attorney General in the past and they are now facing a serious and strict law abiding Attorney General who will not take kindly to having his office used or his time wasted. Lapid knows that if he can force elections, then he can go to the police, who already have him as their main witness for at least one of their cases against Netanyahu, and drop a few well-timed “bombshells” and they can add that to their attempt to have the Prime Minister arraigned, and that could seal the deal. If an arraignment can be timed to coincide with new elections, Lapid can sue in the Supreme Court to have Netanyahu barred from seeking the office of Prime Minister which would weaken the power of Likud and as his party is polling number two, he sees himself as naturally replacing Likud with his party, Yesh Atid. He has even gone so far as to file bills to dissolve the Knesset in conjunction with Meretz. Meretz Party has no chance to lead a coalition and thus is filing purely to help Lapid. If filing with Meretz does not show his true alignment to the world, and Israel particularly, nothing will and his con just might work. The main part of the Lapid coup is to have Bibi arraigned and new elections so the Supreme Court can take Bibi out of the picture making Yair Lapid, as he sees it and us fear, the next Prime Minister. That is a frightful scenario which we would hate to watch occur.

 

The problem here is that Lapid is trying to pull down the coalition while working to have the Prime Minister prevented from defending himself through elections and will do whatever it takes to become Prime Minister and impose his cleverly concealed leftist principles and love of the Two State Solution in his attempt to win a Nobel Peace Prize even if that requires the destruction of Israel as the Jewish State and homeland to the Jewish People. Everything Yair Lapid does is for the aggrandizement of Yair Lapid. He views himself as a larger than life, anointed by the fates, and infallible man of principle. We view him as utterly lacking that final quality, flawed in many ways, and hope he is fated to never hold power of Prime Minister of Israel. We foresee his attaining that dreamed of position leading to placing Hamas backed completely by Iran and armed similarly to Hezballah into Judea and Samaria after agreeing to remove all the Jewish communities from beyond the Green Line. Did we mention he hates them as well though would promise them he would protect them to their faces, redividing Jerusalem, removing all border checkpoints, destroying the terror barrier on his way in full retreat and pulling every last IDF and other force and all intelligence operatives from beyond the Green Line and expect the Arabs to remain an unarmed state. Of course as soon as the Palestinian Authority has been overthrown and Hamas, or worse, Hezballah, replaces them with all the officials still seen as belonging to anything other than a fully religious theocratic terror state supporter removed from any position of power and possibly violently removed, Iran will arm the area and ready it for an attack on Israel. For Iran and both Hezballah and Hamas, being a nationalistic terror state supporter would be inadequate as only pure religious fanaticism will be accepted once Iran gets into the act. This would leave only the Jordan and the Sinai Peninsula left before Israel would be encircled by Iran on every land border.

 

It has been known that the Syrian leader, Bashir al-Assad, and his father before him, have always had designs on rejoining Jordan to Syria as they see Jordan and Israel as parts of Southern Syria and have designs on militarily reestablishing their Syrian hegemony. Any Syrian hegemonic interests would merely be serving the hegemonic obsessions of Iran. Iran would hardly need but blink in order to overwhelm the Jordanian forces and take Jordan. That would be an easy task except for two small items, Jordan has long been allied with the United States and Britain plus Israel is well aware that it is in their interests to prevent such a takeover. During the Black September attempted coup by Yasser Arafat and the PLO in 1970, Syrian forces dressed as Fedayeen crossed the border with air support. The Syrian efforts ended fairly quickly as they met more formidable resistance than they expected and their PLO allies were being decimated and were fleeing to Lebanon. Syria gave up on that attempt to reunify Jordan into southern Syria. That lesson was given Bashir’s father, he may require his own lesson before he learns plus he has Iran whispering in his ear. Another difference is that Jordan and Israel have a signed peace agreement and the United States has a rather unpredictable President in Trump. President Trump has pretty much steered clear of much in the Middle East beyond strongly backing Israel and recognizing the obvious by announcing that the United States will move its embassy to the Israeli capital of Jerusalem.

 

Syria has already fired into Israel sufficiently and been sternly blunted by IDF responses. When Syria and Iran invaded Israeli airspace with a military drone, not only was the drone quickly destroyed, but the command and control center which sent the drone and other similar installations were destroyed in response with Israel losing one aircraft as a response. Attempting at testing Israel through attacking Jordan may not be the wisest course of action, but we are talking of the Assad Regime which has never shown much of a propensity for wisdom guided actions. Let it rest that the Middle East is dangerous enough and does not need Yair Lapid as Prime Minister of Israel; it requires a strong and dependable Israel ready to act as necessitated. That would, for the present, mean Bibi Netanyahu at the very least until the end of this government’s legal term and elections on November 5, 2019. After that many expect that Bibi would either allow a new person to lead Likud or announce that this would be his final time serving as Prime Minister and start to groom a new leader for his party. It would be wise for that to begin immediately and there are a number of contenders, but that should wait for another time.

AIPAC Suffers Disoriented Moments

 

Perhaps it was a case of mass dementia or some fast spreading contagion caused derangement. We are unsure what caused so many speakers of repute including Avi Gabbay who leads the Zionist Union and is the Labor Party candidate for Prime Minister who expects to replace Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. Of course, this is immediately after he is forced to resign over some cigars and champagne which he received as gifts from dinner guests who passed up giving him a nice set of matching glass crystal ashtrays. Then there was newly appointed American Israel Public Affairs Committee CEO Howard Kohr in his coming out appearance he agrees with Gabbay that for peace to be found for Israel, it will require granting the Arabs a new state (see video below) peopled by the citizens of the Palestinian Authority (PA), the fun group who reward terrorists commensurate on the number of Israelis they are able to murder and this payment continues for life. These men honestly believe that rewarding the group of people who pay terrorists for murdering Israelis, try and overthrow governments in almost every nation they find themselves, backed Saddam Hussein in his takeover of Kuwait, invented hijacking aircraft and holding the passengers hostage, invented suicide bombing and invented nearly every single terrorist act which are not spreading to the remainder of the world with their own nations overlooking Tel Aviv and the heart of Israel by using the Green Line* as the border and splitting Jerusalem in half once more. They believe that the United Nations would be able to control the holy spaces which would be within this newly created Arab nation and thus permit universal visitation. Such a nation would be able to look westward from the Judean highlands overlooking the nine mile wide (see map below) waist of Israel seeing downtown Tel Aviv and beyond the Mediterranean Sea and the entirety of the heartland of Israel where three-quarters of Israeli population and economy is located as well as energy production and desalination producing needed water.

 

 

 

The PA uses as one of their plans for the eventual destruction of Israel is to do so in stages. This plan was to take the best offer they are capable of negotiating and appearing to permit peace to break out. Then, after a period of quiet, there would be a massive series of terror attacks followed by demands that if only some more of the occupied lands were ceded to them, then there would be true peace. Once Israel relents and cedes these demanded lands, another period of quiet would be sustained. This quiet would soon be broken leading to the eventual point when they would finally have attained regaining the borders lost by Jordan in the Six Day War. Well, these two men spoke of simply giving all of the lands which had been occupied by Jordan before the Six Day War in one fell swoop. This would give the Palestinian Arabs everything they had once believed would take them years of intermittent periods of quiet and intense terrorism to achieve. This would grant them that view described above of downtown Tel Aviv and direct rocket fire ability where they could adjust their targeting simply by sight. This would result in a terrifying potential scenario where there would be little if any warning to a rocket attack on central Tel Aviv with the largest of buildings in the heart of its business district completely vulnerable. For an idea of what the Arab rocketeers would be able to see from their firing positions in two pictures below depicting their ability to use such a vantage point.

 

Nine Mile Wide Israeli Waist

 

As noted, this was the intent of UNSC Res 2334 which was allowed to pass by President Obama in the closing days of his second term. There are many, ourselves included, that believe this UNSC Resolution, which could have been so completely devastating to the life of Israel, was actually written with the knowledge and final approval of President Obama personally. The UNSC Res 2334 was mostly diluted by President Trump having recognized Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel and moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem, an opening ceremony of this fact scheduled for middle of the coming May of 2018. This was the best possible means of showing that there was a new reality in the Middle East with a pro-Israel administration in Washington D.C. and a very strong defender of Israel in American Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley. Unfortunately, we are also witnessing strong evidence that the Deep State retains near universal control over the State Department which has also suggested that the Two State solution is still alive and well. The State Department also claims the 1967 borders are the panacea for peace in the Middle East claiming that should such a plan be implemented, then all wars including Yemen, Syria, Libya, Nigeria and everywhere where terrorism is a problem will be resolved by the very implementing of peace between Israel and the Arabs. The one saving grace is that the PA has sold their most violent and fanatical professional terrorist that they will accept nothing less than the complete and total destruction of Israel. Settling for anything less, would result very likely in an immediate coup to overthrow the ineffective fools who would accept a peace where Israel remains as the Zionist entity.

 

Tel Aviv Before and After UNSC Res 2334 Once Enacted and Enforced

 

Giving the Palestinian Arabs and their PA government their own state is rewarding seventy plus years of terrorism. It also sends the message that terrorism will be rewarded providing you never let up. It will tell Boko Haram, Islamic State, Hezballah, Iran’s IRGC and every other terrorist group in the world to simply stick to their plan until they are given everything they demand. Further, it will be seen as backing for the Quranic verses commanding the followers of Islam to commit to terror as a tactic. Quran 8:12:16 “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” Quran 3:151:6 “We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down [any] authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.” Quran 33:26 “And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party you killed, and you took captive a party.” Quran 59:2 “It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah ; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.” These verses from the Quran will be validated and have renewed meaning. The Islamists who believe that terror is the means by which they will conquer the weak-willed West will take this as a badge of glory and with this victory, they will act with new heart. Terrorism will be vindicated as the weapon to use against the civilized West as if it worked to destroy Israel, it will destroy the other nations just as readily.

 

As we noted in our article yesterday, Leaked “Deal of the Century” Isn’t, the PA will reject even this peace offering by the State Department. They will believe that their terrorism will soon give them all of Israel, as they will drive the Jews from these lands as they did the Byzantines, the Crusaders, and the British. They believe that like those former conquerors that the Jews have no actual attachment to these lands and that the Jews are but colonists placed here to hold the lands as long as they are able and then to flee back to their natural homes. The Arabs honestly believe that the Jews are simply members of a faith like Christians who reside wherever and everywhere with no real attachment to any lands through their religion. They believe their own propaganda that the Jews all came from Poland, Russia, France, Germany, the United States and the rest of Europe and North America. They do not even remember the Jews which were driven from the Arab lands across MENA** and that most of which ended up in Israel and these Jews make up a fair percentage of the Israeli population.

 

The Arabs will need to come to grips with a new reality which is fast approaching where the Jews are no longer welcomed in Europe. These Jews will end up half in Israel and the rest in North America. What will really bring the reality of the Jews and their ancient homelands of Israel will be after the Jews of Canada are forced to move south into the United States which will simply serve to expedite the Jews being forced from the United States. The influx of over three-hundred-fifty-thousand Jews arriving from Canada will result in bringing to an end the welcome for the Jews in the United States. It will take a while but still result in a severe rise in what has thusfar been an undercurrent of anti-Semitism. The current state of anti-Semitism in the United States is well behind that in Europe where much of it has been kept under wraps existing in the shadows and in whispers. The whispers are slowly becoming murmurs which are a step louder and closer to becoming evident within numerous areas of the culture. From there it is a much shorter step which only requires some new strain or change in reality such as one-third of a million Jews appearing on your doorstep from Canada after nearly half-million European Jews already fled to the United States. Such stress will result in steadily ramping friction with imagined slights and actual slights taken with some more invented and soon you have real problems in areas with few Jews, leading shortly to greater problems where the Jewish population is more significant. Eventually, the Jews from the United States will be heading for Israel with the only question is how many will leave comfortably on their own before they start being pressed to leave. Eventually, the remaining Jews will be fleeing leaving most of their belongings behind and there will always be those few who never catch that their welcome has worn out. Many in the United States will take offense at these estimates of what is likely in the near future, but perhaps if they were to read more of the commentary made on articles concerning Israel or the Jews generally and they might see something to alter their perception.

* Green Line is the 1949 Armistice Line which delineated the final position of the front line at the end of the 1948-9 war where six Arab nations attempted to destroy the Jewish State at her birth. The Arab League demanded that this demarcation never be used to imply or actually be utilized as any form of border so as to leave the Israeli borders undefined.
