Palestinian Authority Begging for World Support

The Palestinian Authority has begun their reaction to the presumably soon to be announce Trump “Deal of the Century.” Their fear is that any new deal might leave them on the outside peering through the window, if even that. In preparation for a worst case scenario, Riyad al-Maliki, the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) “foreign minister”, on Tuesday asked the UN Human Rights Council to take practical steps to protect the two-state solution. We have to give him credit; at least he knows where to find sympathetic receptions. He could have chosen any United Nations agency or the General Assembly and received all the promises he desires. Their promises are worthless, but they simply wanted to be told they were relevant and receive some stroking from friendly quarters. He wanted somebody to ensure justice for the Palestinian people. In that his insists that they give guarantees to the Palestinian people, whatever that actually means any longer, that they will be granted an independent Palestinian State with self-determination, something they do not have under Mahmoud Abbas, and they demand that they have their capital in Jerusalem. This they have been offered before by Israel more than once and turned it down, but they want the guarantee so they must receive the same offer again which they will refuse again. They also insist on the “right of return” for their five-million plus refugees to the very homes they were expelled from presumably resulting from the war to exterminate the Jews six Arab armies waged in 1948 upon the birth of the State of Israel. The reality is they left on the urgings of the Mufti who promised after Israel was destroyed they could share in the spoils but when they lost the war they placed those who listened to the Mufti in camps and they and their children and their children’s children and even further generations ever since. Their demands for this are based on, according to Riyad al-Maliki, UN Resolution 194.

The wording is very specific about the resolution of the problem of the refugees. It mentions nothing about their receiving a state nor does it mention Jerusalem as their capital city. It does not mention the word “Palestinians” but it does stipulate that the refugees were to be permitted to return to their homes providing they would, “live at peace with their neighbours,” which has been amply proven is not the case. Every survey taken of the Palestinian refugees which the Arabs have religiously incarcerated since 1948 in contrast to the way Israel treated the Jewish refugees from the Arab world who were evicted after being stripped of all wealth and sent with the shirts on their backs and little else. These Jews, over eight-hundred-thousand, had lived in these regions often since before the birth of Islam and some since before the birth of Jesus, but they had their homes, businesses, bank accounts and any other wealth confiscated, a nice word for stolen, and sent packing and unless they held a passport to another country, European or the Americas, they had nowhere to turn other than Israel who took them in, often going to get them by sea or by air, and they were incorporated into Israeli society, not locked away in camps for generations.

The United Nations General Assembly adopts resolution 194 (III), resolving that “refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible.”

In the ensuing fifty-plus years, their homes and even entire villages have fallen to Israeli growth and the natural changes a nation which has taken in hundred upon hundreds of thousands of Jews from around the world, many refugees, as noted above, were sent out impoverished by the Arab world spanning all of MENA* while others simply returned out of a desire to return to their ancient homelands. Had the world actually desired for Israel to succeed and survive, they would have treated the situation just as similar situations have been handled, by enacting a population transfer with the Jews going to Israel, over eight-hundred-million as refugees from the Arab world and over half a million who were refugees from Europe after World War II all added to the indigenous Jews who often could trace their genealogy back to King David while the Arabs were to be permitted to return to their nations of origin, be it Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and numerous other places from around the Arab world where these individuals from out of where they were recent immigrants. This was the solution used in Europe between numerous nations after World War II such as what occurred between Germany and Poland, as was done in Cyprus between the Greek people and the Turkish population, also the great migrations of Muslims to Pakistan and Hindus and Buddhists into India. Population transfers have occurred in every situation where two incompatible peoples were required to exchange populations to avert violence and other potential problems. In this case the problem was the Jews would have been exterminated by the Arab world if not expelled and in Europe many Jews no longer had homes to return to as they had been destroyed by the war or given to other people after the Jews were shipped to the concentration camps. In too many instances, if a Jew in Europe returned to their home town from before the war they were murdered rather than being allowed their homes and businesses being returned, their hometowns had assumed they were rid of them and had no need and did not wish to take responsibility for these now alien Jews. So, Israel took all the Jews the world did not want, Israel is not going to take in Arabs who have been steeped in anti-Semitism for half a century and bred to want the Jews of Israel dead. After all, there is that phrase in the resolution which goes, “wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours.” The Arabs are not desirous of living at peace with their neighbors in Israel, they desire killing their neighbors in Israel.

Another few items which the world conveniently ignores are equally at play in this problem. First is that there already is a nation whose population is predominantly Arab Palestinians and which was established for the Arab Palestinians, especially those who desired not to live near or with the Jews or with Jews ruling the nation, and this nation was granted 78% of the British Mandate and it is called Jordan. Israel is a mere 22% of the British Mandate as can be readily seen in the map below. This arrangement was easily recognized, as the Jordan River was to be the border between the Arab State and the Jewish State. That begs the question as to why that was not the case. Remember that war of extermination in 1948 we referred to above? Well, the Arabs did take control of some lands meant for Israel but Israel was not destroyed and her Jews killed, so the Arabs claim they won but not completely and the Jews claim they won as we survived. Historians refer to this war as Israel’s war of independence despite the fact that Israel had declared statehood under international law and the Arabs attacked with the intent, as stated so succinctly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at that time who stated, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” Israel was founded under agreements including the San Remo Conference and other treaties agreed upon by the rulers of the Arab world under King Faisal, the former rulers of the Ottoman Empire which had been on the losing side of the war along with Germany and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and the allied powers of World War I. The final nail in the Arab claims coffin comes from the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The General Assembly voted at the urging of the Palestinian Authority observer to request from the International Court of Justice a ruling on the legality of the Israeli terror wall, the wall which reduced suicide bombings to none within three years, with the hope of gaining a ruling which would lead to its dismantling such that the terrorist operations would not be hindered by the barrier. The barrier was cleared as being perfectly legal and within the rights of Israel as the sovereign over the region, but that was just the initial good news for Israel. In addition to being cleared of any wrongdoing, there was an advisory opinion issued as a cautionary warning by Egyptian Judge, Justice El Araby, from the ICJ and who sat in judgement as part of the panel which heard the case from the United Nations General Assembly in 2003 on the legality of the security barrier erected by Israel. The Honorable Justice El Araby warned the UNGA and others that filing further ran some risks, as he stated,

“The international legal status of the Palestinian Territory (paras. 70-71 of the Advisory Opinion), in my view, merits more comprehensive treatment. A historical survey is relevant to the question posed by the General Assembly, for it serves as the background to understanding the legal status of the Palestinian Territory on the one hand and underlines the special and continuing responsibility of the General Assembly on the other. This may appear as academic, without relevance to the present events. The present is however determined by the accumulation of past events and no reasonable and fair concern for the future can possibly disregard a firm grasp of past events. In particular, when on more than one occasion, the rule of law was consistently side-stepped. The point of departure, or one can say in legal jargon, the critical date, is the League of Nations Mandate which was entrusted to Great Britain.”

British Mandate as prescribed division between Arab State of Jordan and Jewish State of Israel

British Mandate as prescribed division between Arab State of Jordan and Jewish State of Israel

Of course, we could argue the legal obligation to the Jewish People from signed treaties, conferences and even Article 80 of the United Nations Charter which obligates their enforcement of the Mandate Systems set up by the League of Nations, until we were all blue in the face and it makes no difference as the world refuses to enforce these obligations and instead works tirelessly towards the destruction of Israel as the home of the Jewish People and the Jewish State. Israelis largely are not so foolish as to expect the world to treat them fairly or to live up to their obligations. They are largely aware that the Europeans look at the formation of Israel as an error they made while not necessarily in their right minds and are working to undermine the Jews at every opportunity, well, most of them at least. Too many Israelis actually expect that the United States is and will forever remain their friend. We wish this were so but with the recent remarks by the newly elected Congress people, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the future may not be the sunny and bright bipartisan support with which Israel has grown accustomed. What many Israelis do not remember is that the United States did not fully support Israel in the manner they believe until after the Six Day War and actually starting in the early 1970s (below is the graph of aid to Israel by year from the United States). The claim has been to depict an ever-increasing amount of aid but the actual aid leveled off quickly and remained at the same level until the present. But this is a problem which needs to be faced in the future with the only variable being how far into the future. The current problem is more with the European Union and member nations along with every conceivable arm of the United Nations outside the world court system where laws actually mean something, as even an Egyptian Jurist tried to warn the Palestinian Authority.

United States Israel Aid (Military)

United States Israel Aid (Military)

One of the main goals stated by Mahmoud Abbas has been to “internationalize” the Arab-Israeli conflict. This was part of his new, but previously demanded, terms for moving forward with the peace talks adding it must be based upon the Arab peace plan. His demand for an international forum to decide the fate of Israel centers around his insistence that the forum be based on the United Nations General Assembly. A better way of putting this is that Abbas desires a group which will vote 109 to 12 with 56 abstentions in favor of anything the Arabs propose and against anything favoring Israel. By internationalizing the peace process, he wants to assure that he gets his own little kingdom and that Israel receives five to six million new citizens who must be granted full rights so they can elect whatever Arab leadership they desire at the next election. Another way of stating this is; Mahmoud Abbas wants his own nation and to destroy Israel too. Of course the European Union thinks this idea is just ducky, the United Nations would love nothing better than to decide the fate of Israel in the General Assembly, much of the dictatorships in the world are behind this internationalization of the Israel question, the Arab world thinks this would be fabulous, and apparently only a couple of dozen nations protest this as totally unfair to Israel. All that matters is Israel will not participate in her own lynching by the merry band of thugs Abbas seeks to bolster his side.

Israel has sought peace since her founding in 1948 with David ben Gurion. The recent revisionist history has the Israeli leadership voting not to be bound by the patrician map approved by the United Nations General Assembly in Resolution 181 passed on November 29, 1947. This makes no sense as the Arab League had already rejected the patrician plan and all of Resolution 181 because they were on the verge of their great war of annihilation of the Jews and their newborn state. They only began screaming from the rooftop that Resolution 181 must be enacted just as the United Nations General Assembly had passed after they lost again in the Six Day War of 1967. This failure and loss of the lands they had illegally occupied since 1949 sent them raking through historical decisions seeking one to their liking. Unfortunately for the Arab League, the one they chose was the one which was negated and forever placed into the trash bin of history as soon as they had rejected it in the first place. The thing about United Nations General Assembly resolutions is that they are advisory and as such, both parties have to agree to abide by the suggestion, the crucial word is “suggestion or advisory.” When the Arab League voted to reject Resolution 181, it became null and void and thus could not be applied later. It was a one-time offer and it was refused that one time by the Arab League. For the record, the Zionist Congress had accepted the repartitioning of their land as the Jews simply wanted a state and peace with her neighbors. At that point, size did not matter. Now that it is obvious that the neighbors will eradicate Israel at their earliest possible convenience, now size matters. Even so, Israel has made numerous offers to reach a peaceful settlement which would end the violence and terrorism. It is painfully obvious that there can be no such settlement as the Arabs, as they stated in the Khartoum Resolution with what is known as the “Three No’s”; “No peace with Israel, No recognition of Israel, and No negotiations with Israel,” which can be translated into a single no, no Israel.

Any peace plan or offer which results in the continuation of Israel not under Arab rule and allowing the Jewish State to remain is a peace proposal which is dead on arrival as no Arab would ever accept such a proposal, and that is what is at the center of why President Trump has not been able to release his “Deal of the Century,” he cannot get any Arab nation to sign on and accept any deal leaving Israel intact. President Trump looked originally, we believe, at the Palestinian-Israeli conflict as a real estate problem and since he is, at least in his own mind, the world’s greatest real estate negotiator, he would walk in and find that magic combination and everybody would be popping champagne corks and celebrating. He has, hopefully, since seen the error of his hypothesis. This is not about land at all; it is about the supremacy of Islam over the Judaism they relegated as a dead faith superseded by the teachings of Mohammad. As the Jews also refused to accept Mohammad as the true messenger, they have also been deemed to have to represent the devil and as such are accursed. This makes the Jews inferior to the Muslims and as such must never be permitted to rule, especially over an area of land which once was under Islamic rule as once Islamic, must always be Islamic. Israel is thus not just a problem but an insult and provocation against the inviolability of Islam and thus must be completely and utterly subdued. That is the right way of the world according to Islam and as such must be accepted by all of the world, simply because Islam is supreme over all things. This is about religions and has nothing to do with land. The stressing of Jerusalem is over the capital of Israel, historic and anew, and must not be permitted to remain in Jewish hands. Jerusalem is not the first or even the original third holiest cities of Islam. Damascus was amongst the first as it was a capital of an enemy of Islam which they deemed to be the next one they would conquer. The city holding that title the longest was Constantinople, as it had some of the strongest walls in the world. Other cities given this title include Rome, Paris, London and whatever city is considered to be next in the crosshairs of Islam. Also, the third most holy city to Islam also depends upon whom you are asking as different groups of Muslims have different targets they seek to “conquer” as it depends on where they reside as to what is their biggest prize. It has changed throughout history and at one time, it was Vienna as the Islamic forces were stymied twice at their attempts to conquer this city. Things take on a different aspects and one’s view can become much clearer when the history and all the particulars are exposed, and Islam has to conquer the world and impose Islam as the predominant, actually only, faith and Allah the sole god for all of the earth otherwise the Quran claiming that the world would fall to Islam is in error. There is a way for the practitioners of Islam to alleviate the pressures of accomplishing the teachings of the Quran without world conquest, they simply need to choose the Meccan verses as predominant and the Medina verses as the lesser verses and void if they conflict with the Meccan verses. For an introduction to the differences and the reasons and purposes of these two separately written sets of verses, we have an introductory article with numerous links to other sources including some to a chronological version of the Quran as the actual Quran is not in chronological order, they arrange the verses from smallest to longest for easy memorization starting early in life. Meanwhile, we await this “Deal of the Century” and it will be just what the doctor ordered.

Lowdown on the Entire Jerusalem Fiasco

President Trump did indeed say, “I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. While previous presidents have made this a major campaign promise, they failed to deliver. Today, I am delivering.” A little while later he added, “Israel is a sovereign nation with the right, like every other sovereign nation, to determine its own capital. Acknowledging this as a fact is a necessary condition for achieving peace.” Then he stated, “Jerusalem is the seat of the modern Israeli government. It is the home of the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, as well as the Israeli Supreme Court. It is the location of the official residence of the Prime Minister and the President. It is the headquarters of many government ministries. For decades, visiting American presidents, secretaries of state, and military leaders have met their Israeli counterparts in Jerusalem, as I did on my trip to Israel earlier this year.”

Moving along we get to where President Trump stated the obvious, “Jerusalem is not just the heart of three great religions, but it is now also the heart of one of the most successful democracies in the world. Over the past seven decades, the Israeli people have built a country where Jews, Muslims, and Christians, and people of all faiths, are free to live and worship according to their conscience and according to their beliefs.” Then started the qualifying his statements thus far when he limited where Jews can pray excluding them from prayer on the Temple Mount just as the Muslims and Arab Palestinians have demanded things be stating, “Jerusalem is today, and must remain, a place where Jews pray at the Western Wall, where Christians walk the Stations of the Cross, and where Muslims worship at Al-Aqsa Mosque.” Then comes the teaser, “But today, we finally acknowledge the obvious: that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do. It is something that has to be done. That is why, consistent with the Jerusalem Embassy Act, I am also directing the State Department to begin preparation to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.”

This was a validly true statement which might have carried a lot of weight had President Trump not added this little gem, “In making these announcements, I also want to make one point very clear: This decision is not intended in any way to reflect a departure from our strong commitment to facilitate a lasting peace agreement. We want an agreement that is a great deal for the Israelis and a great deal for the Palestinians. We are not taking a position on any final status issues, including the specific boundaries of the Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem or the resolution of contested borders.” And shortly thereafter, things went from weak to expanding wiggle room stating, “Without question, Jerusalem is one of the most sensitive issues in those talks. The United States would support a two-state solution if agreed to by both sides. In the meantime, I call on all parties to maintain the status quo at Jerusalem’s holy sites, including the Temple Mount, also known as Haram al-Sharif.” Then came stating the obvious and the empty promises with these two lines, “There will, of course, be disagreement and dissent regarding this announcement. But we are confident that ultimately, as we work through these disagreements, we will arrive at a peace and a place far greater in understanding and cooperation.” Now was time for optimism and President Trump did not disappoint as he restated from the Summit in Saudi Arabia adding, “I repeat the message I delivered at the historic and extraordinary summit in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, The Middle East is a region rich with culture, spirit, and history. Its people are brilliant, proud, and diverse, vibrant and strong. But the incredible future awaiting this region is held at bay by bloodshed, ignorance, and terror. Vice President Pence will travel to the region in the coming days to reaffirm our commitment to work with partners throughout the Middle East to defeat radicalism that threatens the hopes and dreams of future generations.”

We apologize for repeating close to half of the speech, but the path taken was less than perfectly straight as it took some nasty curves and swerves around the obvious doing everything necessary to keep Jerusalem in play. President Trump was not about to give up the largest chip in his hand before he could use it in a bet to gather concessions from one side or the other. President Trump still believes that as a businessman he has what others lacked, the magic touch with which to arrange the perfect, you give they give and each takes half of this and that presto-chango and you have an Arab-Israeli peace deal. We really hate to burst President Trump’s bubble, but there is one stopper to a peace deal which even he, the great realestate magician, will find he cannot crack, Mahmoud Abbas and his final demands. What can President Trump offer Mahmoud Abbas in exchange for surrendering on the complete eradication of the Jewish State and the reduction to nil of the Jews residing there? This has been Israel’s Ace in the hole as no matter what is offered, we know that Mahmoud Abbas will say no as long as Israel remains the Jewish State.

The two main historic points of negotiations were the 2000 Camp David Summit between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat overseen and assisted by President William Jefferson Clinton. One can read a complete story which covers much of the negotiations by Wikipedia of the 2000 Camp David Summit but we will give our summation as well. As one would expect, there were accusations and insults passed back and forth until the two main parties refused to sit in the same room. The Camp David part of the negotiations ended with severe acrimony. President Clinton is persistent if nothing else and he demanded that the parties meet in Paris to try again, this time with his taking a more active role, he was convinced that his gifts of persuasion could alter what had previously proven to be an intractable situation. The talks again broke down quickly so President Clinton stepped into the breach. He spoke with Ehud Barak and demanded he define his best offer which he took to Yasser Arafat, after exacting out of Barak every inch of land and other allowance and benevolence until he was satisfied he had a presentable agreement. Then he took this to Yasser Arafat and the offer was refused, as we could have told President Clinton it would have been. President Clinton is not one to be put off that easily, so he worked for a few more hours with Arafat until he got him to put forth a proposed settlement that he would accept. Of course, Arafat gave President Clinton a set of terms he was sure that Ehud Barak would never accept even under torture. President Clinton truly was persuasive when upon returning to Barak he got him to accept whatever deal Arafat had proposed. President Clinton then sent invitations to both parties to attend breakfast the next morning without, apparently, telling either side there would be a signing ceremony. When Arafat came down a short time after Barak and saw papers laid out on the table and the media in attendance, he shot straight through the room, out the front door with Madeline Albright chasing after him, and into his car heading straight to the airport and took flight to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. There is contention as to what exactly was in the final presumed agreement but many claim it was a generous offer which was the most ever offered up to that point.

A while later President George W. Bush was persuaded, likely by his Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, to take a shot at Middle East peace. Summations of the final settlement offered which was refused by Abbas can be read from these sources; Jerusalem Post, Wikipedia, Haaretz, Times of Israel and an interesting editorial from the New York Times. He arranged meetings between Ehud Olmert and Mahmoud Abbas along with shuttle diplomacy with diplomats and officials flying between Washington D.C. and both Jerusalem and Nablus. The result was the definitive offer of the most it is likely Israel would or ever will be willing to provide. This was supposed to be the greatest and closest offer which could be and still, as it left the State of Israel intact as the Jewish State, this made it unacceptable to the terrorist leadership of the Palestinian Arabs. Many have pointed out that the Israeli People have suffered and will continue to suffer from terror attacks and threats which we have seen can be set in motion like a water spigot, simply say the words “Days of Rage” and the rioting begins and will continue until requested to end by the terror leaders of the Arab Palestinians. Those who riot are the youth and a core of instigators who are hardened terrorist planners, trainers and facilitators. The other sufferers are the Arabs Palestinians as their wealth is stolen, they are subjected to the disturbances as are the Israelis, are forced to support terrorism which of which many are not necessarily in favor and are forced to live in an atmosphere unfavorable for their making an honest living. This has been proven from some who have committed acts of terror who confess that they did so for the money their family would receive, as it was the most prosperous means they had left to them. Allow us to offer up a commentary on the aforementioned Palestinian Authority pay for slay policies.

Prime Minister Olmert, President Bush and Mahmoud Abbas

Prime Minister Olmert, President Bush and Mahmoud Abbas

Let us now move on to the commentary about Jerusalem and its relations as the capital city of the State of Israel and what the President of the Czech Republic stated recently. The following quotes were taken from two articles, Czech President Blasts EU over Jerusalem Stance and Czech President Hints: We could move embassy to Jerusalem which were both published by Arutz Sheva.

“The European Union, cowards, are doing all they can so a pro-Palestinian terrorist movement can have supremacy over a pro-Israeli movement,” said Czech President Milos Zeman commenting before delegates attending the congress of the nationalist Freedom and Direct Democracy party. President Milos Zeman had stated formerly, “Trump’s decision makes me happy because when I visited Israel four years ago, I said that I would like to transfer the embassy, and that if that happens, we will be the first to do so,” He added at that time, “Every country has the right to decide which city will serve as its capital, and by the same token, every country has the right to decide where its embassy will be located. Trump’s move was meant to demonstrate the self-confidence of the United States, and that’s very positive.”

The Czech Republic followed in the footsteps of U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday and said it recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel within limitations, as apparently nobody is quite brave enough to state the truth, that everything west of the Jordan River is rightfully and legally belonging to Israel and there can be no other legal claim. The Palestinian Arabs are guaranteed the right to open and unencumbered employment, legal rights, property rights, and social rights but are restricted from political rights which remains definable as the State of Israel cares to define them. A statement issued by the Czech foreign ministry stated, “The Czech Republic currently, before the peace between Israel and Palestine is signed, recognizes Jerusalem to be in fact the capital of Israel in the borders of the demarcation line from 1967.” They added the formal weasel wordings of the European establishment doing all they can to eradicate Israel even if in steps adding, “The Ministry can start considering moving of the Czech embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem only based on results of negotiations with key partners in the region and in the world.”

Returning to our own commentary, we simply wonder how long the world, led by the Arab League who are faithfully followed by the Europeans and the United Nations and encouraged by the leftist and far right media and too many other sources and nations in a never ending plotting to destroy Israel. The British did all they could from the moment they took control of the Mandate to form the Jewish State out of the lands handed them to make sure that the Jewish State would never materialize. Their first move was to take 78% of the British Mandate and make the Arab State of Transjordan, today known as Jordan, giving it to the Hashemite family and King Abdullah I bin al-Hussein, as compensation for his family losing their former rule over the Two Holy Cities of Islam, Mecca and Medina, which were conquered after World War I by the Saudis filling the vacuum left when the Ottoman Empire collapsed. This took care of all the lands east of the Jordan River. The British, in conjunction with the surrounding Arab nations and the Arab League, always made sure to keep an Arab majority in the lands west of the Jordan River so they could refuse giving the Jews sovereignty, as they were a minority. This was very costly to world Judaism as the British imposed a cap on Jewish immigration to their holdings of seventy-five-thousand per year and, in order to assure this cap was never breached, they seldom even permitted the full number. According to Jewish Virtual Library the decade from 1929 through 1939 approximately one-quarter of a million Jews were permitted entry into the British Mandate area for the Jewish State meaning that the British actually allowed twenty-five-thousand Jews per year out of the set limit of seventy-five-thousand. The British finally decided to relinquish the headache of trying to keep order between the Arabs and Jews which would regularly explode between them and both were also working to rid the land of the British. All in all, this made the British continued command of the Mandate a burden no longer acceptable, so they set a date of May 15, 1948 for their departure. The United Nations General Assembly made a suggestion to divide the land, which legally all was an aside for the Jewish State, and despite having legal claim, the Zionist Congress and Jewish authorities accepted but the Arab League refused which voided the entire resolution. This meant the lands west of the Jordan River relented back to the original Mandate of forming a Jewish homeland and Israel came into being on the date of May 15, 1948 defined as all the lands west of the Jordan River. Any lands taken in the ensuing war of Arab aggression were illegally occupied. The Gaza was subsequently released by Israel to the Palestinian Authority who lost it soon after to Hamas. The area historically known as Judea and Samaria (Jordan renamed West Bank to remove the Jewish sounding names) is still legally defined as part of the Jewish State unless or until Israel decides otherwise. Should Israel decide to apply their rule over the entirety of Judea and Samaria, it is within their legal purview. What the world need realize and admit is Israel also does not have to provide political rights such as voting in national elections or even local elections, in areas Israel desires they not have a political say, as Israel is only required to provide social rights, religious rights, financial rights and other rights other than those of a political nature according to all the original resolutions, treaties and other measures all based on the Balfour Declaration and its specific wording.

The Time to Prevent a New Holocaust is Now!

We just commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day and there were special services where a special Kaddish may have been recited and the names of the relatives of Congregants’ families are read. If the town or city has a Holocaust Memorial, then a flower lying may also be held. There are numerous and varied commemorative activities as there are congregations and memorials. There are also many contribution drives correlated with Holocaust Remembrance Day hoping to work on people’s consciences and memories to loosen their grip on their wallets. We figure these drives are more successful than similar such attempted during other weeks of the year as their supposition is likely correct. But all these services, prayers, flower lying, listing of names and all the other means of attempting to give relevance in our time to the memory of the Holocaust such that we can prevent a reoccurrence are less likely to serve that purpose as would taking an active role in strengthening Israel and rebuking the false Arab claims of an independent peoples who are owed over twenty percent of the lands which were left for Israel. The world ignores the fact that Jordan occupies over three-fourths, which is over seventy-five percent, of the original British Mandate which was originally meant to be reserved for the Jewish State. The Arabs are currently targeting to make claims to over ninety percent of the original British Mandate in order to place the Jews in an indefensible box sitting underneath the Judean Heights where they could rain rockets down using line of sight and destroy the Jews while the world commemorates the last Holocaust and ignoring the Holocaust about to be perpetrated right before their eyes. The saddest part is that they will choose another date and have a Second Holocaust Remembrance Day complete with services, prayers, flower lying, listing of names and all the other means of attempting to give relevance and to console their souls for their lack of action when it was required.

Often we have called for people to awaken their fellow human beings and bring to them the reality of what the entire set of actions against Israel are all about, the removal of the Jewish State and the burying of the millions of Israeli Jews in one mass unmarked grave. All those accepting the “Two State Solution as the final closure of Arab claims, are naïve. The memories of the demands by the Arabs in the 1920’s are long forgotten and people’s knowledge of the history is shaky at best. It was the demand for an Arab state as well as any Jewish State which brought on the not so fair solution of dividing the British Mandate along the Jordan River giving the 78% east of the Jordan River to the Arabs and the 22% west of the Jordan River for the Jewish State. The Arab League represented by King Faisal accepted this compromise and all was well until time came in 1947 to declare the Jewish State. The Arabs demanded that the Jews be granted the right to reside under Arab rule in the remaining 22% of the British Mandate promising they would care for the Jews and grant them all the rights given to the Muslims. Fortunately, the Zionist Congress refused this offer knowing that what was intended was they would give the Jews exactly the rights to be Muslims, not to be Jewish. Finally, on November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly voted in favor of a resolution, which adopted the plan for the partition of Palestine dividing the remaining 22% of land evenly between the Arabs and the Jews because the Arabs demanded this land because they had not received their lands. This does beg the question of what does one call Jordan if not Arab Land? Well, they divided the land equally in amount and “completely fairly” as far as desert and arable lands (you be the judge with the map below). The Zionist Congress and the Provisional Israeli government accepted the partition and the Arab League refused the partition claiming that they could not accept any Jewish State demanding that all the land be under Arab rule as explained above. The patrician included making Jerusalem an International Zone protected and run by a United Nations Security Force. With Jerusalem entirely surrounded and in the center of Arab controlled lands and all access roadways completely under Arab control, anyone care to guess how long that United Nations Security Force would remain on station? We guessed maybe forty-eight hours before slipping out in the dead of night praying to get away, and the Arabs would allow them to leave and never return and Jerusalem would be under Muslim Rule and no other religion permitted any rights unlike today under Israeli rule where everyone including Christians, Jews, Muslims (Shia and Sunni) anyone else is permitted rights in Jerusalem with Jews the most restricted, but that is a different argument. Also on the map it can be noted is that nearly two-thirds of the lands reserved for the Jews are in the Negev Desert and much of the remainder of the lands are underneath Arab guns with the Arabs holding all the heights, the Judean Hills, the Golan Heights and the Galilee Ridge. Even the eastern ridge of the Galilee sits beneath and well in range of artillery or sniper fire from the Golan Heights as Jewish farmers in the Northern Galilee found out the hard way until the Six Day War where Israel took control of the Golan Heights from Syria. The reason the Arabs refused this offer became obvious on the morning of May 15, 1948, the first hours of the existence of Israel when six Arab armies from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt with additional assists from forces sent by Yemen and the Sudan plus the Palestinian Brigades under the Mufti of Jerusalem and other militias and irregulars. During this war there were orders intercepted which were determined to have come from military officers who had fought in World War II on both sides assisting the Arab forces from behind the lines. That was then, back to now.

These Arabs demanding a Two State Solution are the same Arabs who fought with the Palestinian Brigades under the Mufti of Jerusalem, the man who assisted the Nazis during World War II spending most of the war in Berlin meeting with the high brass of the Nazi command and some credit with pressing for the final solution to the “Jewish problem” and pleading that the Nazis carry out the same when they would take control of the Middle East and beyond. Their leaders have stated that the Two State Solution is not the end; it is but one-step towards their attaining their final solution. Their use of those words is no accident of language as they have explained numerous times. Their efforts and claims will never end until there is no Jewish State and no Jew permitted to live on Palestinian Arab lands. All the lands are Palestinian Arab Lands according to the Arab leadership and must be cleansed as they take what they claim is theirs and a place where no Jew has ever lived. They discount the existence of the First Temple, the Second Temple and all of Jewish history and the history of the Bible claiming that the people of the Bible were Arab Palestinians who have lived here anywhere from five to nine thousand years. A little trip back to reality and we realize that during the British Mandate the Palestinians were the Jews according to the British and when they referred to the Jews they used the world Palestinians while when referring to the Arabs they called them Arabs. The idea of Palestinians actually meaning Arabs was actually in 1964 when Yasser Arafat initiated the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization), with the assistance of the KGB in Moscow, and they declared their intent to liberate all of the rest of the Palestinian lands. As Judea and Samaria, the areas the Arab Palestinians currently claim, were illegally occupied by Jordan as they held half of Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, the PLO made no claims to these lands whatsoever. Their claim was they would drive the Jews from the remainder of Arab lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, as noted in Article 24 of the PLO Charter before it was altered after the Six Day War to include Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). Their target then was Israel and their intent was that once they had driven the Jews from the lands, they would then turn these lands over to Jordan and then all would be happy. This declaration had nothing to do with the “Occupation” or “Settlers” as this was June 2, 1964, three years and three days before the start of the Six Day War when during the days of June 5-10, 1967, the Israelis responded initially to an imminent threatened attack by Syria and Egypt and then an actual unprovoked assault out of Judea and Samaria and across the entirety of Jerusalem by Jordan; Israel repulsed these attacks and liberated Gaza, Judea and Samaria and took the areas that included the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula. So the basis for the whole idea of the Two State Solution is to simply finish negating the safety Israel took in measure by taking the remainder of lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, in simpler worlds, retook and liberated the lands which were originally denoted as belonging to the Jews to build their homeland according to all solutions as determined at San Remo Conference and numerous following conferences, treaties and agreements. Does anyone believe after the initial determination at the founding of the PLO, the precursor for the Palestinian Authority (PA) and every other Arab Palestinian effort including the Gaza independence and coup by Hamas which allows Gaza to fire rockets into Israel while the PA claims innocence as if an unrelated group, that once they are granted their demanded state that will be the end and there is no means by which the PLO will return to their original declaration of driving the Jews from the remainder of Arab lands? The next important map is below which we ask that you take close note of the shaded area in the center of map inside the trapezoid and then understand that along the Green Line the heights above sea level rise from less than five hundred feet to well over a thousand feet (noted in the cutaway below with the rise actually being more dramatic than shown).

The drive to defeat the Jews and remove them from what the Muslim and Arab worlds consider their lands given them through conquest by Allah will not end as long as Israel exists. The Arabs in Lebanon under Hezballah are claiming the Galilee as presumably their sacred trust which Israel has stolen and to which the Jews have no rightful claim. We should not feel alone in this as the Arabs and Muslims still claim that the Christians illegally removed the rightful Islamic forces from all of Andalusia and they will reconquer these stolen lands in time. Oh, you have never heard of Andalusia? Well let us draw you a map of Andalusia next to another map you might find easier to recognize (see map below). There are claims to be made in Eastern Europe one of which you might recall which was a conflict where Kosovo was decided by NATO forces not to be a part of Croatia or Slovakia but its own nation and was to be Islamic so its name was changed and is now Kosova. If you had to look back, don’t feel bad as you likely had company, as the change was not quite as shocking or drastic as one might have expected, but then it might say something about the original claim of Kosovo not being actually part of any Christian nation. There are areas in India and Pakistan and India currently are clashing and have been for decades over who gets what parts of what was formerly Kashmir (I think I had a sweater from there once). Then there is the fighting in the Philippines where the Island of Mindanao is claimed by Islamic forces which carry out strikes in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, as well as on the island of Mindanao itself. There are the Boko Haram terror forces (yellow area in referenced map further below) who are claiming more and more lands in central Nigeria and along with forces from the Sudan, Eritrea and Somalia are striking into the entirety of areas often referred to as the African Transition Zone (shaded area in referenced map further below). And there are the wars being fought currently against Israel. Many people believe mistakenly that Israel has only the Palestinian Arabs as a problem and that is limited to the PA and Hamas (read on please).

Well, partnering with Hamas there is also Islamic Jihad, and some IRGC forces sent by Iran as well as various other groups, small bands and clan forces all of which contribute to the war out of Gaza and provide Hamas with other entities who they can claim launched unapproved rocket or sniper attacks despite nothing actually happening in Gaza (aka Hamastan) which they have not allowed even if through passivity. Then there are units from al-Qaeda, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Islamic State and smaller groups throughout the PA semi-autonomous regions. Many of these, especially Hamas, desire taking over from the PA and know if they removed Mahmoud Abbas from power forcing elections that Hamas would likely win handily. It is this threat which has Mahmoud Abbas allowing the IDF to operate within Area A, despite it being against the Oslo Accords, because their operations prevent numerous Hamas and other entities strikes both against Israel, which would force him to explain and possibly actually act, as well as against his person and other PA resources which saves his risking his security forces starting a revolution fighting against Hamas. Imagine his having to explain why PA Security Forces were shooting other Arabs. Abbas would have a revolt demanding his head on a pole and that would cause inter-Arab fighting on a scale which might have the world demanding that Israel step in and protect Abbas and assist the PA Security Forces. Imagine what a mess would result from such. Also, Israel has that little problem in Lebanon called Hezballah. Here there is another little secret. Hezballah now also commands the Lebanese Army which means all the weapons given to the Lebanese Army by the Russians and the Americans (Article covering this problem with inclusive list of American hardware and weapons systems), including Abrams Main Battle Tanks and various aircraft, are now available to Hezballah should they press for another war with Israel. This would mean any Hezballah war with Israel has now become a Lebanese war with Israel. This would not be much of a stretch as Israel and Lebanon currently are at war with a shaky armistice which any Hezballah incursion would easily cause that armistice to be considered broken. Israel is also still at war with a few other Arab nations stemming from the Arab League declaring war on Israel in May of 1948. These nations include but may not be considered a complete list; Syria (what’s left of it), Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Sudan, Algeria, Libya (also what’s left of it), Yemen, Pakistan, Morocco and Cuba (yes, Cuba). Iran also has declared a war on Israel but thus far, attacks have yet to be detected. Also there are numerous smaller groups supporting Hezballah such as Amal and Jammoul plus whatever aid in armaments and personnel including trainers and strategists which are provided from Iran often coming through Damascus, Syria, another Iranian ally relying heavily on Iran as well as Russia to survive. Iran has provided Hezballah with over one-hundred-fifty-thousand rockets and missiles of various sizes, ranges and warhead capabilities many of which are capable of striking anywhere in Israel and possibly into Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. This is the entirety of the Arab-Israeli conflict which the world tends to ignore but which Israel must remain vigilant and prepared for any and all possible contingencies.
