Israel and the Golan Heights Against the World

President Trump’s declaration of recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights has been received warmly, politely and with a feeling it will prove a temporary United States position. We cannot argue against their logic claiming that another President will come along and rip the decision up and claim that the United States backs fully the United Nations in demanding that Israel do as she is told. Just in case the world has not figured this out yet, Israel will seldom do as instructed by the European Union, United Nations, Arab League or even the United States. Israel will act in order to assure her survival in an area where mistakes are costly because there is always someone waiting to take advantage of such situations. Weakness is an invitation to the surrounding nations that you can be defeated and forced to play by Arab rules. The problem with that is should Israel ever need to play be the Arab rules, she knows that rule number one is that the Jew is a sub-human creature which must realize is only permitted to exist by the permission of its Islamic superiors. Rule two is Islam is perfect and Judaism is a disease to be correct by the fires of Islam. The rules would only get worse from there ending in the final rule, convert to Islam or die. That is the neighborhood in which Israel resides.

Many people in the West, especially in the United States, tend to ask Israel why they refuse to grant the Palestinian Arabs a small state as Israel is so large and powerful. The unfortunate thing is too many people equate power with size. They see Israel as commensurate in power with the major powers such as Russia, China, United States, Germany and Great Britain. They then equate Israel in size often with the United States. In order to give people from around the world to compare the size of Israel, we have maps comparing the size of Israel with Great Britain, United States, Australia and India. These maps should immediately dispel any misconception about Israel being a large nation. It is approximately the size of New Jersey. Israel is quite tiny even compared to most of her neighbors, specifically Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Turkey and Iran. It is only the Israeli military might which has permitted her to resist being overrun. But size is not the only reason that Israel need to retain the Golan Heights.

Four Maps of Great Britain, the United States, Australia, and India with to scale map of Israel super-imposed for comparison on each map depicting her actual rather than perceived size.

Exactly How Small is Israel
A Comparison Against Four
Well Known Countries

The Golan Heights are part of the topographic defensive barrier for Israel from attacks coming from out of the east along with the Jordan River Valley (see topographic map below). The Jordan River Valley serves as a defensive barrier from attacks from the Jordan border into Israel and is equally efficient at protecting Jordan from Israel, so it serves the safety of both nations. The Golan Heights is the opposite; it allows whichever side, Israel or Syria, of an overlooking high ground allowing viewing deeply into the other nation’s lands. When Syria held the Golan Heights they would regularly launch artillery shells onto Israeli towns, cities, Kibbutzim and farms. Syrian snipers would practice by killing Israeli farmers testing their skill. Some of the more fertile areas of Israel had to be left untilled simply because it was far too dangerous for anyone to be out in the open as targets for Syrian soldiers. After the June 1967 Six Day War, Israel liberated the Golan Heights from Syria and since then Israel has held the high ground. What may be surprising to some, Israel has not used the heights for launching artillery shells into Syrian cities, has not used the area for snipers to practice their art shooting hapless Syrians or used it for anything beyond defensive measures when the Syrian civil war wanders into Israel, often intentionally. It should be obvious now why Israel insists she must retain the Jordan Valley and especially the Golan Heights, they mean security which means peace. The moment Israel shows weakness or vulnerability, there will be another Arab attempt to destroy the Jewish State.

Topographic Map of Golan Heights and Jordan River Valley

Topographic Map of Golan Heights and Jordan River Valley

Another advantage of Israel retaining the Golan Heights is that under Israel there are wineries, farms, orchards and other agricultural activities. Unlike the purely military control and restricted use under Syria, Israel retains a military presence, as she does on all her borders, but allows for civilian use which has brought new life and greenery to the Heights and wildlife has returned making the Golan region one of the favorite places for a day visit by Israelis and tourists. For the not too faint of heart, one can approach the eastern ledge of the heights and view Damascus. Of course Israel used the heights for surveillance of the Syrian movements of all sides of the continuing war. Israel has also used the Golan Heights as a contact point for those from the Syrian war requiring medical attention. Thousands of people have been admitted for treatment in Israel. Separate locations are arranged for the separate groups where they bring the badly wounded and from where they could retrieve their people after they are treated. Often those injured require hospitalization. All of this care is provided free with the costs being covered by the government but has on occasions caused difficulties such as overcrowding in those hospitals accepting these patients. Do not fret, we will handle these inconveniences as we do those of the little things we all face daily.

The reasons for Israel retaining the Golan Heights are simple. They are security, excellent wines, fruit orchards, grazing for herds, and with the heights in Israeli hands, there will not be any further conflict between Israel and Syria. Further, Israel holding the Golan Heights prevents the encroachment by Iran who is already establishing a presence in southwestern Syria with the IRGC and other forces including the presence of Iranian missiles and the missile launchers. Israel needs the Golan Heights in order to have early warning of any launch from these Iranian missiles. This is without even considering the possibility that Bashir ‘the butcher’ al-Assad deciding that he could bolster his position in the Arab world by launching attacks on Israel and using the ensuing violence as proof that the Israelis are aiding the anti-Assad forces and it is an Arab obligation to assist al-Assad against the anti-Assad forces and Israel. But even al-Assad is not reckless as to attack Israel while she holds the Golan Heights. This is the importance of the Golan Heights. Holding the Golan Heights by Israel makes the chances of a new war all but nil. Israel retaining the Golan Heights means peace.

Hamas Rocket Attack a Definite Escalation

Hamas once again provided proof of their intent to destroy Israel one home at a time if necessary. The escalation recently includes two rockets fired at Tel Aviv just over ten days ago. Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered a responsive strike on Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets in Gaza. These strikes by the Israeli Air Force were the usual empty buildings which have been hit before again and again in the name of responding to attacks from Gaza. Some in Israel have begun to refer to these bombings of empty building as the line from the movie Casablanca after Rick shoots the Nazi Commissioner, “Round up the usual suspects.” The bombing of empty buildings has become a farce even within Israel and the reaction of shock by the Europeans reminds us of another scene from Casablanca when it is “discovered” that there is gambling in Ricks bar/casino and the chief gendarme exclaims, “I’m shocked, shocked” and many people like to add “I tell you,” but that is not in the movie. We promise, no more quotes from Casablanca. The rocket attack on Tel Aviv, according to Hamas, was an unfortunate accident and never intended and they plan to conduct an investigation into the firing. This explanation was mostly accepted by spokespeople in Israel, much to everyone’s amazement. That was just over ten days ago, so enjoy the two clips and we will talk about the latest attack afterwards.

This past Sunday, Hamas once again had an unfortunate accident once more, but this time the results were nothing short of a miracle that nobody was killed. This “accidental” rocket firing also went deeply into Israel, close to fifty miles from the Gaza border. The rocket landed in the Sharon region and struck the house of a sixty-year-old woman whose extended family was apparently visiting or live with her. It was reported by Magen David Adom that seven people were injured, the a sixty-year-old woman who is in moderate condition suffered shrapnel wounds and burns, while a thirty-year-old woman who is in moderate condition suffered shrapnel wounds and five people who were lightly injured including two infants. Several others were treated for shock, as often is the case when high explosives detonate within your neighborhood. The house which was struck was completely destroyed and looking at the photos it becomes apparent that it really was a miracle nobody was killed. Below are two pictures taken from this report which contains videos and more pictures for those desiring to see additional footage. The second picture shows a crib which we assume was where the infants were when the house was struck. The excuse that the rockets were fired accidentally, or they were fired without being authorized, neither argument makes those residing in destroyed buildings who survived solely because of a miracle not have grievous injuries or those whose nerves were shattered feel an calmer than if these had been authorized and intentional attacks. The truth of the matter is these were intentional attacks by whomever built the rocket, those who fashioned the explosive warheads, the ones who constructed the launchers and the individuals who launched the rockets all doing their part in an intentional attack intending to murder as many civilians as possible. By allowing such an excuse to basically stand, all that is accomplished is guaranteeing that there will be dozens of “unintended” rockets fired at targets in Israel and then soon there will be hundreds of “accidental” firings of rockets a week and then that number will become daily. Israelis have watched this song and dance before and realize that every rocket is fired with malice aforethought and with the full intent of causing as much harm, death, destruction and shock amongst whatever else these strikes may cause only to increase steadily until Israel responds with force. They also know what comes next.

The entire escalation by Hamas, despite their plaintive excuses, is a response to the lack of Israeli push-back over the border rioting which has been continuous over the past year. Yes, we said continuous over an entire year and showing no sign of letting up. The rocket firings only serve to show that things are about to get out of hand. Last week or so ago, while meeting with Egyptians trying to mediate a cessation of the border hostility, Hamas promised to end the border rioting yet it was while they were meeting that the two rockets were fired at Tel Aviv. There were two other rockets fired at the same time with one heading out into the Mediterranean and the other did not clear Gaza falling inside their area. Hamas convinced the Egyptians that they had nothing to do with the rockets fired as they could not be suspect of firing rockets while meeting with the Egyptian mediators. Who ever thought that this statement had the slightest measure of validity obviously knows little or nothing about Hamas and their terroristic duplicity. Of course they would pick such a time to fire rockets at Tel Aviv knowing that Israel would not respond as long as the Egyptian mediators were meeting inside Gaza. Israel has fallen victim of timidity due to the desire for acceptance by the world. The idea was that as long as the damage caused by the rioting on the border was limited to closely within the border area, then it was tolerable and the powers that be decided that it was not worth responding and getting the European Union (EU), United Nations (UN), numerous anti-Israel NGO’s or those in the United States who desire that Israel not cause them any distress all up in arms about disproportionate responses. This was even more important right before the AIPAC convention where too many still believe that two states for two peoples living side-by-side in peace and security is the proper and viable solution if only the two sides could agree on borders. This would also be important so that when the Israeli Prime Minister and others from Israel spoke, they would be well received and there would be no cause for uncomfortable questions from those who always claim to side with Israel while all-too-often condemning Israeli actions as being disproportional. Let’s discuss this disproportionality utter ridiculousness.

Firstly, in our discussion, let us take a tally of World War II deaths by nation on each side. Looking at the Iraq War which removed Saddam Hussein from power, the allies with the United States suffered less than four-hundred deaths while the dead for the army of Iraq suffered an estimated fifty-thousand to many hundreds of thousands as well as approximately one-hundred-thousand civilian deaths. On the eastern front of World War II the Axis Powers suffered slightly over five-million dead while the Soviet Union suffered just under ten-million killed. World War II on the western front had the Allied Powers suffering three-million dead while the Axis Powers suffered over five-million dead. The War in the Pacific has two sets of casualties which have a very telling story behind them. As far as military deaths are concerned, Japan suffered over two and one half million dead while the Allies suffered four-million plus dead. Civilian deaths tell a horrid story with Japan suffering just over one-million deaths and their victims suffering somewhere over twenty-six-million deaths. One might wonder why such a disproportional difference in the civilian deaths between Japan, who had two entire cities wiped from the map by the two nuclear bombs dropped ending the war, while they inflicted such a horrendous toll against the civilians of the regions they conquered before being defeated. The reason is very simple; the Japanese troops butchered and murdered Chinese civilians in excessively large numbers simply out of their racial hatreds of the Chinese and a form of revenge for the wars fought between the two adversaries over their long histories. The one item which is apparent from these numbers, and are true of every war, one side always suffers more deaths and other casualties than the other side. Throughout history, if one were to plot the deaths of all the wars, it would become apparent that more often than not, the side which loses has the higher casualty numbers than does their victors. In ancient history this is very true as often the side that won the conflict either took the vanquished as slaves or simply slaughtered their adversaries entirely. This made the difference between the two sides far more disproportional. The casualties in war are always going to be disproportional as each side attempts to kill as many of their enemy as possible and by whatever means they have at their disposal. It has only been since the advent of nuclear weaponry that sides in a conflict limited what weapons they used avoiding exchanging in a nuclear Armageddon. There is one foreboding reality which need be of great concern; there has never in all of human history been a weapon invented which did not become the weapon of choice in a future war. Thus far in human history, nuclear weapons have been the exception such that after the two, rather small by todays weapons, nuclear bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there has not been another nuclear weapon used in any conflict, and allow us to emphasize, Yet!

That yet at the end of the last paragraph should stand as a warning. There are nations now developing or already possessing nuclear weapons which do not fear their use. They know of the devastation and suffering caused by the bombs which were dropped on Japan and they see this as an invitation for placing their enemies on their knees or worse. Iranian military and civilian leaders and spokespeople have often referred to Israel as a one or two bomb nation. Such commentary cannot be referencing any non-nuclear weapons currently existing. This reference can only mean using nuclear weaponry, and Iran is one of those nations who saw what damage was done to Hiroshima and Nagasaki and think of this as an invitation for using nuclear weapons and not a warning against their use. They are not even concerned over any potential Israeli retaliation, even an Israeli nuclear response. The Ayatollah has stated that he would willingly sacrifice all of Iran if doing so would eliminate Israel. This threat should frighten any logical thinking person, but the world simply goes along with the Europeans trading feverishly with Iran because there are Euros to be made and Iran is still flush with dollars provided by the United States as an enticement for Iran to join in a treaty which simply was presumed to push their developing nuclear weapons and building an arsenal by eight to ten years. That was simply kicking the can down the road leaving the threat for the next President or the one after and all but guaranteeing that Iran would be a nuclear-armed nation by the end of the ten years. If you are counting, that would be in about another seven and a half years. We are willing to go beyond these visions of a world which is not going to explode soon and warn that there is but a slim chance that Iran does not already have not only the plans for building nuclear weapons or simply many of the components to build thermonuclear weapons, the really big bombs, or simply the technology to miniaturize nuclear weapons for use in warheads atop ballistic missiles, but that Iran has already built at least fifty thermonuclear warheads and has them ready to be placed atop their ballistic missiles and use them, the question being how they would employ them. Many scenarios have them launching these weapons at Israel which would require their using all or the majority of these warheads if their hope is to pierce the Israeli anti-missile systems. Fortunately Israel has a layered interception set of systems such that these weapons can intercept incoming missiles at different places on their trajectory. The other most favored scenario has the Iranians using one or more weapons as EMP devices over the United States destroying their electrical grid and simultaneously using a nuclear weapon against the American fleet off their shores in the Arabian Sea. We pray that Iran manages to replace their leadership with people far less fanatical and definitely with greater sanity.

As for Hamas, Islamic Jihad and, according to certain estimates, the Islamic State, all of which are presumably operating in Gaza, should they continue to allow rockets to be fired into Israel, even willy nilly, as they would like Israeli leaders to believe, their will be a point where Israel will provide an excellent example of disproportional casualties. Israel is one of the few, if not only, nations to have ever gone Biblical on their enemies. The Israeli people are growing tired of the menace in the south and equally anxious over the enemies in Lebanon and Syria all, like Hamas, Islamic Jihad and friends, under the control of Iran and doing the bidding of the Mullahs. Hamas and friends need to know that there are a growing number of Israelis who do not care or even concern themselves in the slightest as to what the EU, UN, NGO’s and the rest of the world’s busybodies think or might say when Israel defends herself. Should Israel continue to be pushed and threatened, the reaction at some point will be intended to be highly disproportional and they will not care. In Israel, we look at these threats as real intents to destroy our little piece of Heaven on Earth and this does not please us in the slightest. We do not desire to have war under almost any circumstances, but when there are those who are making a real effort to destroy your nation and kill almost everybody residing within your borders, please do not tell us not to take it personally. Such a request is well beyond its use-by date as it applied way back in the 1960’s and even the 1970’s but does not make sense for the world as it is today. Europe may be on the verge of committing suicide by immigration and the United States has many who appear to be emerging from the dark side, but we in Israel simply wish to help those we can, live and share with those who wish to do so, and for those who wish us dead, well two can play that game and you really do not want to go there. Live with us in peace and it will result in a mutual advantage in which we will share what we discover in the many various fields in which Israel has endeavors. But desire to destroy us and then we will have a problem which will not end well, yes, potentially mutually not end well, but we can guarantee that it will not end well for our opponents. Simply look at history and the empires and nations which desired the destruction of the Jewish People, the destruction of Israel, and where are they today. Allow us to list just a few of them from across history and perhaps you will get an idea of what the future holds for those bent on our destruction. These former entities which believed they would wipe us from the face of the Earth and make us at most a footnote in history consist of Pharaohs’ Egypt, Philistines, Assyrian Empire, Babylonian Empire, Persian Empire, Greek Empire, Roman Empire (and they gave it their best just as they had the Carthaginians), Byzantine Empire, Caliphate, Ottoman Empire, Spanish Inquisition, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. This list has some of the former greats of history, but they are former greats and we are still here and making great strides as we have throughout history. Perhaps Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) defined the Jews best and more succinctly than anybody else with his essay “Concerning the Jew,” which we will sign off with it below.

Concerning the Jew

“If the statistics are right, the Jews constitute but one percent of the human race. It suggests a nebulous dim puff of star dust lost in the blaze of the Milky Way. Properly the Jew ought hardly to be heard of, but he is heard of, has always been heard of. He is as prominent on the planet as any other people, and his commercial importance is extravagantly out of proportion to the smallness of his bulk. His contributions to the world’s list of great names in literature, science, art, music, finance, medicine, and abstruse learning are also away out of proportion to the weakness of his numbers. He has made a marvellous fight in the world, in all the ages; and has done it with his hands tied behind him. He could be vain of himself, and be excused for it. The Egyptian, the Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greek and the Roman followed, and made a vast noise, and they are gone; other peoples have sprung up and held their torch high for a time, but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now, or have vanished. The Jew saw them all, beat them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmities of age, no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert and aggressive mind. All things are mortal but the Jew; all other forces pass, but he remains. What is the secret of his immortality?”

Palestinians Leadership Again Speaking in Codes

One of the largest difficulties in explaining the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Palestinian problem and conflict specifically, is that the vast majority of people are unfamiliar with how the Arabs, the Palestinian Arabs in particular, define their terminology. The Americans and Europeans constantly apply what they believe these terms mean when the Palestinians have completely different definitions and speak in a foreign language which uses great measures of Taqiyyah, a religiously sanctioned form of dissimulation or concealment of the truth and actual intents. We can provide some guidelines which will assist in translating from what their actual words translate into and what they actually mean when using these codified words and phrases. The first and most obvious to many but actually intentionally ignored because to admit knowledge of this one phrase would end any hope of solving the conflict. That is another problem for the average person in that news reporting and many politicians with their statements know full well that they are using definitions which are diametrically opposed to the actual intended meaning when used by the Arabs. When two sides are each using the same words but each is also entitled to their own translations and definitions, well, then you end up with situations like the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) which can be depicted by searching JCPOA and then comparing the different versions from the one touted by President Obama and the one used by the European Union. Were one to gain a copy of the Russian and Chinese versions they would find they translate into two more versions of the deal so it should not come as a surprise that the Iranians have their own version which they have steadfastly held that they have completely complied with the terms including those concerning testing ballistic missiles, which their version allows them to perform such tests, surprise, surprise, surprise. Israel is facing their own set of Arab definitions not matching those by all other parties, and they prefer to keep it this way so nobody can complain or even begin to depict what the Palestinians actually mean and what they are demanding. They also know that many in the United States State Department are fully aware of the true meanings of many of these phrases but use the colloquial false definition used by whomever they are communicating with in order to continue to pursue a peace which cannot be reached.

By now you are screaming for an example, so here is the most ignored actual definition of the entire conflict, “occupied Palestinian lands.” Often they will even add to further confuse the uninitiated such as the “occupied territories of 1967” as if putting a particular date to the term makes even one iota of a difference. Whenever the term “occupied territories” is bandied about, what it means is, “from the river to the sea, Palestine must be free.” This has been their chant and byline from the very beginning in 1947 when they refused the United Nations patrician plan as they expected their armies from six Arab nations using military advisors from the British and the Germans fresh from World War II. They did not eliminate Israel but they did occupy Gaza and the Shomron (Jordan renamed it West Bank as Judea and Samaria were far too Jewish for their sensitivities). Another term used is that the Arab Palestinians only want their 22% of the British Mandate. To the uninformed in the Western media and governments, they transcribe this as meaning Gaza and the Shomron, or more recently Area A and Area B and some minor pieces from Area C of the areas formerly illegally occupied by Jordan until the Six Day War in June of 1967. The twenty-two-percent they are referring to from the British Mandate means exactly that, the reminder which is not Jordan who received seventy-eight-percent of the British Mandate (see map below). The map below was originally used by the British in their dealings with the League of Nations and has become a favorite of the Arabs for the fact that it calls Israel Palestine. The truth is that until 1964 the definition of Palestinian meant Jew residing in the region of the British Mandate. The World War I and World War II Palestine Brigades under the British were almost entirely Jewish fighters with a small number of Druze and virtually no Arabs, especially in World War II as a great number of Arabs followed the directives of the Mufti of Jerusalem who broadcast messages from Berlin for the Arabs to fight the British and assist the Nazi war efforts in the Middle East. Further,

British Mandate with its division between an Arab State of Jordan and
Palestine denoted to be the Jewish State later named Israel

Palestinian was the term most frequently assigned to the Jews of the region while the Arabs either were called Arabs or were called the national origin of their names such that some were Syrian, Egyptian, Saudi Arabian, Iraqi and so forth. Here are some blatantly obvious examples where the term Palestine or Palestinian became Israeli. The Palestine Orchestra would become the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. The Jerusalem Post, Israeli English-language daily newspaper, was established in 1932 as the Palestine Post. The Arabs would like to reverse those name changes and erase any trace that Jews have or had ever lived in this region. Of particular interest is that in Arabic there is no letter which produces the sound of the letter, “P” as there is in Hebrew, “פ” which is why they often refer to their region as Falestine.

Every reference to liberation or establishing of their state they are including all of the lands west of the Jordan River and they also include within any settlement the relocation of five-million-plus Arab refugees the majority of which have never even stepped foot in Israel being dependents of refugees or even dependents of dependents and even of dependence as they and their families were locked into refugee camps as soon as the 1948-9 War to Eradicate the Jews ended with their armies in retreat, which unremarkably is when the world demanded that the fighting crease, as they were fine when it appeared the Arabs might be victorious. The only exception was the Six Day War and then likely merely because the Israeli victory was so swift that it amazed the world (we even watched the war live on newscasts in classrooms in high school and any teacher not allowing students to follow the war found their classrooms empty for that week). Still, in the 1973 Yom Kippur War while the Arabs held the upper hand there were no demands that they cease their advances into Israeli controlled regions but once the IDF turned the tide of battle there were threats from Russia and the United States that Israel was not to extend the regions they controlled any further than the armistice lines from the 1967 Six Day War. Israel was on the outskirts of Damascus in Syria and closing on Alexandria and Cairo in Egypt with the Egyptian Third Army encircled in the Sinai Desert, there was virtually nothing between Israel and the heart of Egypt and with most of the Syrian armor destroyed, Israel had the same opportunity in Syria. What is amazing about the Arab refugees is that there are camps for these “refugees” in Gaza, Jenin and other locations where the Palestinian Authority or Hamas rule. There were other refugees from the period after the formation of Israel as the Arab world forced out by varying methods over three-quarters of a million Jews who mostly settled in Israel. These refugees, unlike the Arabs, were housed as best as possible, not in tents for years, and moved into the society as quickly as economic and other factors made possible. The Israeli intent was to absorb their brothers and sisters and normalize their lives, not to traumatize their brothers and sisters as has been the fate for as many as, in some families, four or even five generations behind fences often with barbed wire surrounding them and even armed guards. They were denied citizenship and barred from most forms of employment only permitted the most menial of jobs. Their sole use was as a threat to inundate Israel transforming it into another Arab state and destroying the Jewish state. Even the purported Palestinian history is a retelling of Jewish history with the only real change being their claims to be decedents of the Canaanites, a people extinct and lost from history after Joshua and the Israelites established what became the Jewish State.

Their claim for self-determination is based on denying the Jews the same right. The initial demand was for a single state to be formed from the entirety of the British Mandate lands which would have included Jordan and Israel plus their refugees granting the Arab population a sizable numeric advantage thus again destroying the Jewish state. The majority of their claims from their initial invention of the concept of the Palestinians being solely an Arab people have been to destroy Israel. When the Palestinian Liberation Organization was founded through cooperation of the Arab League and the KGB, the KGB trained both Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas specifically for the role of destroying the Jewish State once Israel and the United States became friends, their demand did not include the Shomron (West Bank) which was held by Jordan nor Gaza which was occupied by Egypt, their demand was for the remainder of the lands, Israel. Their intention after their successfully destroying Israel was to turn the lands over to Jordan and Egypt and not for a nation of their own as they still thought of themselves as part of the Arab family of nations and not an independent entity. It was not until after the Six Day War that they began with their intention for their own nations replacing all of Israel. While the Shomron and Gaza were held by Arab nations, there was no mention of allowing for the Arabs within these areas to have self-rule as since they were already under Arab rule, nothing else really mattered. It is the fact that the Jews have their own nation that drives their ambitions.

Our final point is to take another line they often utilize to make their terrorist activities be seen as a liberation and nationalist movement. Their claim is that, we quote, Palestinians have the right to fight the “occupation” using all legitimate means and methods, as well as to resist attempts to label the resistance of the “Palestinian people” as “terrorism.” Their definition of murdering any Jew is that every Jew is a soldier of the Zionist enterprise, notice not Israel or an actual nation, merely an enterprise intended to deny the Arabs their rightful lands. There exist two specific items which must be met in order to make any peace proposal acceptable to the Arabs and the Palestinians, and these are the end of self-rule for the Jews and the Jews removed from their Islamic Waqf, their means of making all of Israel lands which are holy to Islam and therefore in need of cleansing of the infection by a hostile people. They claim that the Jews can simply return to the lands in Europe, Russia, Ukraine and North America from whence they “all” came. The Arabs are fully aware that half of the Jews in Israel trace their ancestry to Arab lands in the Middle East and North Africa and that they would never be permitted return. That is not a problem because they also are fully aware that the nations where the other half of the Jews originated would also refuse to take them back, and yes that likely includes North America where such is becoming more evident day-by-day to be turning hostile to the Jews and Israel (Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are two examples). The historic reminder of how the Jews were refused escape by the United States and Canada during World War II was the return trip of the MS St. Louis returning over nine-hundred Jews to Nazi occupied lands. The one thing Jews have learned over the millennia is that things rarely change all that much when it comes to persecution of Jews and the world’s inaction facing such known and deadly threats to the Jewish People. The Arab Palestinians demand their “Right of Return,” another term expropriated by them, is code for drown Israel in Arabs trained in UNRWA schools to hate the Jews with a visceral rage which drives them to desire murdering every Jew in Israel. These schools, which were exposed by President Trump very publically, are augmented with summer camps which are nothing but boot camps training the next generation of Arabs for the eternal fight against the Jews. No peace settlement will be acceptable to the Arabs or their subset, the Palestinians, should it permit the Jews to have their own nation and they would probably prefer to be permitted to do with the Jews in Israel as they please. Their main delusion is their belief that since they are a desert people and have out-waited the Ottomans, British and presumably all other conquerors, is that they will outwait the Jews who to their minds are just the latest Europeans invading their native lands. These are their native lands because history in Islam begins once Islam has conquered a region and nothing which came before is of any relevance. This time it is of relevance because we Jews are the original desert people and have waited for our promised final return to our ancient homelands and ruling ourselves for over two-thousand-years while Islam has only existed for fourteen-hundred-years. You figure out which group had the most patience. Israel and her Jews are not going anywhere as we are home to stay and know that nowhere would want us anyway. This was, is and will always be our lands and we will not be pushed from them again. The only exception would be if there was to be found somewhere in the universe a Planet Israel, then we might consider making a move, but not before.
