Threat Striking Israel from All Sides and Beyond

Israel, and her people, are hoping to get through the rest of the summer and the fall without the necessity of a war on any front. Recent threats from Hezballah in the north in Lebanon and from Hamas in the south in Gaza are making that possibility looking less likely. With Israel also apparently frozen politically without an actual government, a war is the last thing Israelis need. They will be heading back to the polls again this September and the polls predict the same outcome with no party able to form a coalition. With our internal problems, the last thing we need is an external problem, but that is not within our control. So, what exactly do these threats contain?

Hezballah has made statements recently that Israel is preparing to start a war with Lebanon over Hezballah. This is the claim they have made before launching rockets or firing grenades at passing Israeli patrols along the border as well as kidnapping soldiers who are then more often than not executed. Still, Hezballah offers to return the soldiers captured if Israel surrenders her northern lands or releases every terrorist in our country club version of a prison or any of a number of impossibilities knowing that eventually Israel will come to take their soldiers back. The last time they kidnapped soldiers from a patrol vehicle, they killed several others and claimed to have two alive Israeli IDF soldiers. That, in the end, proved to be a lie and the only question was were they ever alive in Hezballah custody, and if they were, exactly when and how did they die. Those were questions for which we never got an answer, just more threats. Further, Hezballah is directly controlled by Iran. This explains why there are Hezballah troops fighting in Syria as well as Yemen and operating a series of terrorist training camps within the Tri-border region of South America. Hezballah has become a terrorist army and will likely expand their operations as required by the Iranian Supreme Leader. In addition, should Iran face any problems concerning their nuclear ambitions, terrorist activities or be facing a confrontation with United States military forces, or have severe troubles with President Trump; the one item they have promised is at the top of their list is having Hezballah attack Israel to draw the media attention away from Iran. This would present the mainstream media with a dilemma, do they report that President Trump is pressing Iran into an unnecessary war or do they blast Israel for responding and defending herself from Hezballah.

Then there is Hamas. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar stated in a meet with Gazan residents, “I call on Benny Gantz to remember how the IDF failed in its conflict with residents of eastern Gaza during Operation Protective Edge, when he was Chief of Staff. During the next conflict with Israel, we will rain hundreds of rockets in a single barrage.” Sinwar was reacting to comments made by Gantz, coleader of the Blue-White Party who had promised, “If necessary, we’ll frustrate its leaders and crush the region. We’ll act on the ground as much as we want.” The problem is that Hamas is also under the influence of Iran though Hamas also will act on their own volition. Proof of that was made evident with Hamas or Islamic Jihad having fired a rocket from Gaza Friday evening. Initial reports place the launch on Hamas. The rocket was heading for Sderot where it was intercepted by an Iron Dome battery. Another instance of an under two-hundred-dollar Hamas rocket being destroyed with a fifty-thousand-dollar interceptor. Such need for protecting Israelis is worth every penny, but this is also an economic battle Israel cannot win. Eventually Israel will be required to remove all the threats from her borders as no nation on the planet lives with such threats coming from both their northern and southern border.

There is also an internal problem which has been identified as Israel has lost her shining image of unsurpassed military might and abilities and thus no longer is feared by the surrounding terrorist forces. This was made evident for over a year with the regular rioting along the Gaza border and the launching of incendiary devices carried into Israel on kites and balloons riding the winds. These devices burned down hundreds of acres of farms, nature reserves, forests and towns across southern Israel. The Israelis residing in the Gaza border region cannot be expected to continue to live with such threats. Children from this region show signs of mental problems caused by anxiety, fear and the realization of actual threats making their word unsafe. Children should not be required to check that there are shelters at both ends of their soccer field before starting their game. Every activity a child performs is done with knowledge of the closest shelter and responds to the Code Red alarms by running to the closest shelter knowing they have under fifteen seconds to reach safety. Would any nation be forced by the world to have their children be raised in such an atmosphere of threats, deaths and perils? The obvious answer is of course not. But the world and media reporting on any confrontation between Israel and her terrorist neighbors as being unfair simply because Israelis are kept safe while Hamas endangers their people. The difference comes from the prioritization of the two area’s governing bodies.

Gaza is ruled by a terror regime whose main goal is to destroy Israel by whatever means are available, even, sometimes directly, at the expense and safety of the Gazan people. Hamas runs a dictatorial governance with their leaders chosen from the ranks of the terror organization. They claim to have a separation between their terrorist (military) and their civil government yet their recent appointment of Yahya Sinwar took their terrorist leader and made him the political leader. This is not separation between the two as his appointment was a marriage of the two supposed wings as they placed their government in the hands of their former terror chief. Of course, those nations who provide Gaza with aid will continue to claim they are simply assisting the political wing of Hamas and not the terror wing. Even after building material has been provided by the European Union at least three times and nothing was rebuilt yet somehow all the material disappeared only to be found in the form of infiltration tunnels into Israel. But this will not prevent the European Union or some combination of European government providing building materials because Gaza has still not been rebuilt. They will never stop and wonder why Gaza has not been rebuilt because they are giving these provisions to a good source which is killing Jews, or at least try really hard to do so.

There is a claim that Israel has lost her ability to place fear and trepidation into her enemies. Some call it lacking the quality of intimidation. We prefer to call it poor decision making at the highest levels and a large portion of the General Staff not on the same page as the majority of Israelis. If everyone who has said that the next time Hamas starts firing rockets into Israel in quantities on a daily basis, the IDF need be sent in with orders to wipe the place clean. Some phrase it differently and claim that we need to treat Gaza as we did in Biblical times. We are not sure they fully understand that the Biblical army would kill every person, man woman and child, and wipe out their herds of sheep, cattle, goats, horses as well as their poultry and all other holdings only allowing their fruit trees and fields to survive. We do not dare even consider such and neither should the government. We prefer giving every Gazan a choice between one of three options, also derived sort of from Biblical times. They can choose to live under our rule following the Noahic Code and honoring our laws, they can leave and start again elsewhere and we will not chase them down (as was the custom when you defeated an army you chased down and killed the survivors making retreating to reconsolidate impossible), or they can decide to make war at which time the fist mentioned Biblical threat became an option. We know that the leaders of Hamas would have to be exiled if not held and tried in court, but if they will leave never to darken our doorstep again, that should be sufficient. They should be made to understand that should they return that they would be targeted for assassination and if members of their family would also come to harm, it was their fault for returning. What would be in such a deal of the Gazan people? They would have clean water, electricity, sewage treatment and so many other improvements and economically there would be no comparison. Gaza would become productive allowing for the rule of law to protect along with an actual economy. They would be able to elect their local governments and have semiautonomous self-rule while remaining under Israeli rule. There would be one item which might be considered unfair, but it is the one means of preventing further terrorism. Any person caught in an act of terrorism, planning terrorism, providing the implements for terrorism, their entire family would be expelled from Israel and banned from returning. The damage to the family is the one means of addressing terrorism before it happens. The Palestinian Authority pays their terrorists and their families making it economically incentivized. This is the opposite form of payback meant to prevent anyone even considering terrorist activities.

Hezballah posses a different problem as they also have become much of the government for Lebanon. If Hezballah were to demand the support of the Lebanese Army, Navy and Air Forces, these would probably be assigned Hezballah commanders, if such has not already occurred. This would provide them with a plethora of American and Russian equipment, air-power, helicopters, main battle tanks and various armaments they currently lack. For this reason, any war which involves Hezballah must be treated as a war with all of Lebanon and their military equipment should be targeted and as soon as it appears that Hezballah would be using these weapons, they must all be destroyed as quickly as Israel is able. Further, Israel need warn the IRGC and other Iranian units in Syria that their aiding Hezballah would prove very unhealthy. Whether or not Iran should be struck should it be found that they ordered Hezballah to wage war on Israel is such a tricky question that we will leave it up to the people paid to make such decisions. What has never made sense is why democracies, no matter the level of the threats they face, must wait until they have suffered an initial attack before acting. This and proportionality are the two most idiotic concepts applied to military actions, though they appear to be left more for Israel than anyone else. There is one other concept since World War II which actually is counterproductive simply because it is so wrongheaded. There is this concept amongst the developed nations, which just happen to be the same nations who fought in World War II directly, is that the world has realized what a waste warfare is and we live in a time of peaceful coexistence. We can tell you that this message was lost on the nations of the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). Just look around this region and see the conflicts which reach into every corner. Add to that the idea that one nation has been chosen to rule the entire world and the world is there for their taking. That nation is Iran and the Mullahs do intend to conquer the world little chunk by little chunk. They already took Iraq, almost have Yemen, have what is left of Syria, they own Lebanon and they are threatening Israel and Saudi Arabia along with the Gulf States and Kuwait. Iran also wants to take down the United States as they figure once the United States has been neutralized, think large EMP device over St Louis, then the world would be open for the taking. We unfortunately do not live in an era of peace, not yet.

That time could be near and it is all up to the developed world to take a risk and allow the most advanced forms of energy to be used across the globe and the wealth which would follow would unseat virtually every dictator and rid the world of uncountable problems. But that might harm the oil, coal, nuclear companies and put the eco-warriors out of business as energy would be virtually pollution free and so inexpensive that energy bills would become almost a thing of the past. This and modern farming methods, and it does not have to include hybrid seeds, but proper plowing, drip irrigation, water drainage, ecological means of pest control and other such technologies would allow the world to feed itself three times over without adding pollutants to the oceans. But the people who actually run our planet and wish to continue holding everyone in their concept of serfdom paying them for every drop of oil, every chunk of coal, every ounce of uranium and any other form of energy generation and thus refuse to allow any progress which would harm their industries. In time this will change as it always has and the Luddites will slowly fall back into obscurity.

Land Theft in Area C and European Myopia

The primary reasoning behind the Oslo Accords was to set in place a framework from which a final settlement could be reached. The agreement spelled out which lands belonged to whom, who could and could not build in areas, civil responsibilities and security responsibilities. The arrangement could not have been spelled out any more obviously and the ignoring of the agreement is just as obvious and very egregious. Gaza was set aside as part of the Palestinian Authority governed lands, which remained as such until soon after Israel left Gaza under the disengagement arranged by President George W. Bush under pressures from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The areas of Judea and Samaria which are contested were divided into three sectors, Area A, Area B and Area C. Area A was placed under full Palestinian control, both civil and security responsibility. Area C was placed under full Israeli control, both civil and security responsibility. Area B was placed under Palestinian Authority civil control and shared security control by both the Palestinian Authority and Israel. That is as simple as things get, but apparently this has been too much for the world to understand. One would be led to believe that Israel was closed out of these lands, Areas A, B and C, completely with no opportunity to ever set foot within these regions. This has become even more egregious as the European Union has undertaken a program to build structures, towns, cities and whatever else they are able, label them with their European Union circle of stars emblem and place plaques claiming that these are the property of the Palestinian Authority. This is a get around of the Oslo Accords preventing the Palestinian Arabs from building in Area C, but it never said that outside agencies could not build entire communities for the Palestinian Arabs who could then claim the lands.

These structures are being built without any inspections to enforce building codes and with no regard for whether or not they are habitable. These “communities” have no roads, no electricity, no water, no sewage treatment, no connections of any variety which might make them marginally habitable. Already, there are those urging that Israel be forced to provide everything which these communities lack after which they would be opened to Palestinian Arab occupancy and then claimed for the Palestinian Arabs. These are sprouting up across Area C most often placed strategically so as to cut off the Jewish communities from Israel and isolating them such that they will also be claimed by the world to belong to the Arabs. After all, if there are no roads through which the Jews could ever travel to Israel without having to pass through one of these communities being built along major thoroughfares, then obviously these do not belong to the Jews or Israel. This is the latest European attempt to force Israel back to her pre-Six Day War borders where Israel was from nine to fifteen miles wide along her center. These are known as the Auschwitz Borders as Israel would be incapable of retaining Tel Aviv once pressed back into these borders as the Palestinians would hold the high grounds of the Judean Hills overlooking the Tel Aviv metropolitan region where three-quarters of the Israeli population, manufacturing, power transmission and other infrastructure is located. Should Israel be forced back to these borders, it would be a travesty and completely annul the hard work by Lord Caradon, the British United Nations Ambassador, who worked with great determination and dedication to perfect the wording of United Nations Security Council Resolution 242 such that Israel was not to be forced back to the Green Line but instead to retain lands which would provide for defensible borders. At the time, these borders were interpreted to mean that the Jordan River would become the eastern border for Israel just as had been the intentions under the League of Nations and the Mandate System which is presumably being enforced by the United Nations as per Article 80 of the UN Charter. If you are claiming that you have seen no sign of such, welcome to the world of those elites who have decided that Israel must be sacrificed as by sacrificing Israel, they will mollify the Muslim World from any further aggressions and peace will rule the land (it must be the dawning of the Age of Aquarius). If this is their logic and how they believe the world will be once they have whetted the Islamic hunger for conquest by giving them a present called Israel, well, then we would like to know what they are smoking.

Tel Aviv Now Before Green Line Peace
and
Tel Aviv the Day After Green Line Peace

The number of articles, documents, conferences, treaties and various other legalities which have defined the eastern border of Israel as the Jordan River are legion. We have from time to time provided abridged lists in our articles from San Remo Conference through the Mandate of the League of Nations on through Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. The fact that the United Nations became basically a signatory to all of these when they agreed in Article 80 to enforce the Mandate System has consequences. Anything the United Nations attempts to do that compromises the Mandate System, which implies the Jordan River as the eastern boundary of the country of Israel, is void as it is an attempt to contravene the United Nations Charter. This includes President Obama’s parting shot at Israel where in United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 under Chapter Six, which means it is more advisory and not backed by military force, which stated that any and all Israeli buildings beyond the Green Line were illegal and a breach of International Law is itself in breach of International Law and must be considered as void by any tribunal as it breaks with the United Nations Charter which takes precedence. When Lord Caradon fought to make the wording that Israel was expected to “return land,” not “the land,” “the lands,” “all lands” or any other reference which could be interpreted as forcing Israel back to her previous borders, he had inferred that this was a step by which Britain could correct some of the mischief which they had committed against the Zionists when they took 78% of the Mandate for the Jewish State and transferred it to the Arabs in the form of Transjordan (Jordan today) granting the Hashemites this region as their kingdom and to return Israel at the very least to their truncated lands with the Jordan River as their eastern border. His effort was stated to provide Israel with defensible borders, which a quick view at the cutaway below one can readily see an obvious defensible border and only one defensible border, and that is the Jordan River Valley and as the Jordan River is in the center, it makes for a perfect and easily recognized defensible border. Sometimes a single picture is worth a thousand words, and this one is just that as that is how long it would take to write out an article explaining the tactical advantage the Jordan River provides for preventing attack across its expanse, and that includes Arab aggressions westward and Israel aggressions eastward were either to ever become a reality.

There is another misconception which we have mentioned in the past but which bears mention at least this one additional time, and that is reference to Mahmoud Abbas and his incessant claim that he just desires the 22% of the Mandate which is rightfully his. The current misinterpretation which is often represented throughout the Western media is that this 22% is in regards to Gaza and the regions of Judea and Samaria which previously were illegally occupied by Jordan from 1948 until the Six Day War of 1967 when Israel liberated, that is liberated and not conquered, by Israel. The truth is he is referring to all of Israel as he is referring to the 22% of the British Mandate which was not gifted to the Arabs by the British. This should have been obvious to anybody with even a modicum of knowledge of history thus knowing that 78% of the Mandate was turned into modern day Jordan and Abbas is demanding the remaining 22% as rightfully his as all of these lands are belonging to the Arab Muslims according to their thinking. He realizes that as long as the Western media and leaders are willing to misinterpret Abbas claiming 22% as simply the contested lands, that he can continue to make this demand such that should the Palestinian Arabs be gifted the formerly occupied Israeli lands by Jordan, he can continue with that same claim demanding the remainder of that 22% he demands. The Western leaders need to start to be honest and fulfill their promises made after World War I in numerous agreements and treaties which denoted the Jordan River as the border between the Jewish state and the Arab state, the two-state solution engaged in these treaties, then the solution becomes obvious. Further, the claim that there were six-hundred-fifty-thousand Arab refugees who lost their homes in 1948 when they obeyed the Mufti of Jerusalem and fled to behind the Arab lines at the start of the 1948 war to annihilate the Jewish State, which the Arabs failed to complete but still occupied lands promised the Jewish state, namely Gaza and the renamed “West Bank,” Judea and Samaria were just too Jewish sounding for Jordan, and when the fighting was over, their Arab brothers rounded these Arabs into camps and have kept them there ever since, is a ruse being used to destroy Israel by flooding it with the now five-million descendants. The Arab claim continues that these Arabs are the only refugees left from the Arab-Israeli Conflict. They are correct in that these are the only left, but they are not telling the entire truth. The Arab world disenfranchised their Jews taking their wealth and then forcing them by means of laws or violence to become refugees. These Jews numbered over eight-hundred-thousand in the decade after Israel was formed and as unless they held passports for any Western nation, these Jews were refused entry by the rest of the world and came to the only nation willing, and anxious, to allow them entry, Israel. These refugees were not corralled into camps and left to wallow without decent job opportunities and minimal support as were the Arab refugees. These Jews were welcomed and became active and positive additions to Israel. Initially, this was difficult, but with time everything reached a more normal state. Today, approximately half of the Israeli Jewish population, there are also Arab, Bedouin, Druze and other Israelis who are not Jews, consists of these Jews formerly of Arab nationality and are a vital and vibrant community who contribute greatly to the Israeli economy. What is even more of an indication of their being integrated into the Israeli population is manifest for all to witness simply by visiting Israel. When one does so, they will notice many couples where one is apparently from European origins and the other from the Middle East or Northern Africa. This is the proper means of treating refugees who are your kin and not imprisoning them in camps for political gain.

We would like to now reference an excellent article by Giulio Meotti . In this article, he references an Islamic and Arab mantra which he expands upon which goes, “First the Saturday, then the Sunday people,” and he adds “third the secularized West.” His first two sentences read, “On Saturday we kill the Jews, on Sunday we kill the Christians”, or with greater tact, “first the people of Saturday, then the Sunday people”, is not just a slogan. It deals with a precise program of religious cleansing, pronounced by Islamist leaders and promulgated by Jihadists.” He explains how in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries virtually all, if not all, their Jews are long gone. He emphasizes this point by referencing the remains of the former Jewish communities stating, “In Africa and Middle in the East there are hundreds of abandoned Jewish sites in Morocco (460), Iraq (352), Algeria (320), Yemen (301), Tunisia (231) and Syria (63).” He then continues and points out that the Christians are facing violence and other forms of rejection all in an attempt to force them to convert to Islam. These Christians are amongst the most victimized people on the planet and also one of the most ignored. The sole group to actually get any attention are the Coptic Christians of Egypt mainly because of their numbers. The Coptic community makes up between ten and fifteen percent of the total Egyptian population and have been facing a virtual state of war being waged against them. This is an unofficial war which the Egyptian government claims to be their protectors when all too often, those targeting the Coptic Christians are police and even military units, unofficially, of course. The Coptic Christians who were wealthy enough to depart Egypt have mostly gone leaving those unable to flee from the persecution they face and with nobody willing to grant them asylum. That is the sad state they are in which they find themselves caught.

The reality is that the Christian and any other non-Muslim population living in the Islamic Arab world are facing eradication either by leaving, converting or death. These nations have all but extinguished their Jewish population to the point that they are all facing an end as their populations are aging. The next groups to be targeted and facing a similar fate are the Christians and in Iran particularly, it is the Zoroastrian religion facing this threat. Zoroastrianism is, along with Judaism, one of the oldest religions still in practice in the world today. This is a reality and it has definitive implications for the future. Islam, as stated clearly in the Quran, specifically in the parts written in Medina and considered to be primary with the Meccan verses overturned by the new verses, Islam is promised to be the conquerors of the world and fated to be the sole religion practiced on Earth. Make no mistake, they believe this in their bones and is passed on with the mothers’ milk. The next target in their sights is Europe followed by the United States. They have plans which instruct them on the exact methods to use to take over democratic nations without having to invade them. Their plan is to simply vote themselves into position where they can then substitute Sharia for each national constitution or other founding documents. This will lead to these nations no longer being democracies and turn them into theocratic Islamic states. They will use the open borders policies enacted by some overly foolish and Pollyannaish leftists who accept Islam believing that no one culture is superior to any other culture. Many of these leftists actually have an absolute disdain for their own national history believing their actions in the past to make them guilty of horrific criminal acts against the undeveloped world and thus believe that they need provide the undeveloped world with rights in their own nation even at the cost of their national credos. The eventuality of these policies is only now dawning on many of these leaders as they face the anger of the voters and realize that they took a wrong turn and many are simply not running for office and slinking off to a comfortable retirement for as long as it lasts.

The Western democracies are seemingly unaware of the threat they face. It is due to this blindness that we encourage Ilhan Omar and her ilk to continue to speak up loudly and proudly about how they plan to subjugate the world. Perhaps if the people hear such claims and demands from the sources’ own mouths, then they just might sit up and pay attention. Of course, it has been apathy which has always been the challenge and greatest threat to the Western democracies. Many of the people no longer or never have voted, some claiming they do not desire to be called for jury duty as if that is an excuse, and they blissfully ignore politics comfortable in what they perceive as fact that their country could never be overtaken through the ballot box. They are blissfully wrong. The Islamic invasion is being disguised as ordinary immigration which was completely redefined in the United States way back with the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, also known as the Hart-Celler Act, which altered the preferences such that it penalized European immigration, specifically it was claimed to removed de facto discrimination against Southern and Eastern Europeans, the Irish, Asians, and other non-Northwestern European ethnic groups from American immigration policy. The Hart–Celler Act allowed increased numbers of people to migrate to the United States from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The State Department have utilized this, working with immigrations officials, to bring increasing numbers of Muslims into the United States. Of course, this was a drop in the ocean compared to the influx of Muslims into Germany after Angela Merkel made her promise to take in many thousands of Syria refugees and she got far more than she bargained. After four years of German Chancellor Angela Merkel choosing to leave the country’s borders open amid a vast influx of asylum seekers to Europe, it has resulted in a significant majority of the approximately one and a half million people who have arrived since remaining out of the labor force. This has become a heavy burden for Germany and the story is similar in numerous developed countries across Europe. This was the first wave and one can only wonder how long after these nations restrict this influx before they elect another bleeding heart with little ability to conceive of consequences to their actions opening the floodgates once more. Muslim population in Europe has increased from 2% in 1950 with expectations that it will rise to 6% by 2020. One need take into consideration that the total population in Europe has increased from five-hundred-fifty-million in 1950 to an expected seven-hundred-fifty-million by 2020. This means that the actual number of Muslims has increased from eleven-million to an expected forty-five-million in 2020, a four-fold increase. With the Christian and secular populations of the majority of European nations in decline, the percentage of Muslims will only climb faster as the Muslim population is reproducing at rates which will show increases in their numbers, unlike the non-Muslim populations. In the United States the picture is less bleak but still has its challenges and threats which need to be addressed. For both Europe and the United States, the problem will grow worse, far worse, before it will gain much attention and this is due to the slant of the mainstream media which refuses to even breach the subject. Further, If the European elites honestly believe that by forsaking Israel, they will gain themselves a reprieve, they are solely mistaken and by the time they figure that out, well, if they have destroyed Israel it will be way too late.

British Jews Awakening as American Jews Remain Asleep

First thing we need to recognize is that the problem with anti-Semitic members both in the general membership as well as elected to positions of power and to Parliament is far more pronounced in the British Labour Party than it has risen to amongst the Democrat Party in the United States. Still, between Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, amongst other Representatives within the Democrat Party, the Democrats have had ample opportunity to stand against the rising anti-Semitism, especially as it has reared its ugly head within their ranks. Just as the Labour Party who ignored their early warning signs until it became too great a problem for the party to excise, the Democrats are doing all they are able to whitewash the cases of anti-Semitism with general denunciations of hatred. The Democrats Party even passed on demoting their freshman Representative who has made the strongest and most of anti-Semitic tropes and references from her seat in the Foreign Affairs Committee, one of the most prestigious and important postings which one can be given, and given her either a lesser committee appointment or no committee appointment, probably not that unusual for a freshman Representative. But Speaker of the House Pelosi and the rest of the leading Democrats could not even see their way clear to perform that simply task. Just as is becoming apparent in Britain, the United States is also experiencing rising anti-Semitism both within the public and in the halls of power. The anti-Israel and thus anti-Semitic pronouncements and positions taken by the Black Congressional Caucus, often from behind closed doors, have until now been mostly ignored and treated as an annoyance as this was not a threat which would sway legislation and was kept quiet by the media’s choosing not to report upon such. With Ms. Omar, Ms. Tlaib and affirmations made by Ms. Cortez made openly, even before the cameras of the media and on talk shows, their anti-Semitic remarks and references were not covered up nor hidden from the public view just as if they desired to be noted for their positions and were quite proud of their anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic positions and desired to let the world know. We hope that these three continue to find the limelight and pronounce their ugly hatreds such that the American public can witness their repulsive and abhorrent anti-Semitic feelings.

Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

The main question is where will this lead for the British, Americans and also most of Europe where such problems are becoming an epidemic. In France there was the problem with outright and obvious anti-Semitic undercurrent behind the Yellow Vests Protests. Much of Europe has been suffering from anti-Israel positions largely through their refusal to condemn and vote against anti-Israel denunciation in the United Nations General Assembly and within the numerous positions held by them within the various United Nations agencies, specifically the Human Rights Commission, UNESCO and numerous others. This should have been expected of the Europeans after the findings that many of the anti-Israel and pro-BDS NGO’s which operate within Israel working against the sitting government (when there is one) and against the feelings and positions of the general public were being funded by the European Union and numerous European governments receiving well over half of their funding from those sources and very little from within Israel. Furthermore, every time Israel attempted to pass laws very similar to those used by Europeans and most of the rest of the world, which would only permit NGO’s to register as Israel providing they received the majority of their funding from Israelis, their native peoples, the European Union and most European government and politicians all would wail and moan about how Israel was destroying democracy and must permit these foreign funded NGO’s continue to be licensed by and call themselves Israeli. No other developed nation allows such ridiculous permission for NGO’s who are acting as a fifth front against the government and the people to remain as domestically accredited. Now we will need to be concerned within a few years when the United States joins the chorus financing further anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic positions which will claim to speak for the Israelis as they receive validation from the government simply because any NGO can present themselves and be validated as Israeli laws concerning NGO’s are very few and not very restrictive. This is not democracy but its evil twin separated at birth and is actually the exact opposite when NGO’s, which are unable to receive funding within Israel, can receive the majority of their funding from entities which desire to harm Israel and remain Israeli.

There are many people both in Israel and across America, who believe and say with complete forthright honesty, claiming that the United States and Israel have always been and will always be allied and friendly. These are people with little grasp of reality or history as the United States and Israel have not always been allies or friends or even on the same side. Granted, President Harry Truman went against the advice of his Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense and the vast majority of his advisors plus the others around him and recognized Israel when she declared her independence, though it took the Congress a number of months to be convinced to validate the President’s move. Still, immediately after this when the six Arab armies with other allies invaded Israel with genocidal intents, the United States placed an arms embargo on all countries involved in this conflict. If not for Czechoslovakia, Israel might never have received sufficient support of arms required to at least retain much of her lands losing Gaza and the Shomron (West Bank, parts of Judea and Samaria) with the former held by Egypt and the latter taken by Jordan. It was not until the Six Day War in 1967 that these regions were liberated by Israel and, were Israel to be treated as a normal nation, should have been readmitted into Israel with the Arabs residing within given the opportunity to register as legal resident aliens or leaving what was liberated Israeli territories. Similar such events have occurred around the world and especially in Europe as the lines between nations were traded back and forth from the numerous European and other conflicts where, as part of many of these redrawing of lines back to previous location returning lands to one nation or another, often the residing peoples were forced to return within the new boundaries of their country and not permitted to remain and join the new ruling nation. But things are never that easy when it comes to Israel. Much of the problem is that the world has this insatiable appetite for oil, the main product of the central Arab powers, well, that and sand, which they employ to twist and force many a national opinion when it comes to the Jewish State.

These Arab nations, as a result of the 1973 Arab-Israeli War and Arab members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), imposed an embargo against the United States in retaliation for the U.S. decision to re-supply the Israeli military as well as to gain leverage in the post-war peace negotiations. This caused people in the United States to have gasoline rationed with often odd-even day restriction on license plates determining who could buy gasoline with some stations limiting the amount any single driver was permitted to buy and many stations running out of gasoline by noon each day. There were gas lines and people would rise a couple of hours early just to buy fuel and still make it to work close to on time. This also led the Arab oil producing nations and their allies around the world to limit production to force prices higher raking in millions of dollars, pounds, francs, marks and other currencies and greatly increasing their leverage over Europe and other parts of the developing world. This influence has contributed greatly to the anti-Israel animosity worldwide. This resupply by the United States during the 1973 Yom Kippur War was actually the first major arms delivery by the United States which would also go on to make Israel a deal she unfortunately, at that time , could not resist to provide F-16s and additional F-15s to Israel in exchange for Israel not placing the Lavi fighter Jet into production. The Lavi would have been a direct contender with the F-16 for world fighter sales, so this decision by the United States was anything but altruistic. The deal included the United States assuring Israel of air superiority in exchange for Israel not producing aircraft which would directly compete with the American markets in fighter jets. With the recent delivery of the F-35 JSF to Israel, one would be led to believe that the United States has remained honest in their agreement. There have been announcements that the United States will be selling F-35 JSF to United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia as well as potentially Egypt and their being sold to Turkey currently being held up, but likely to be made in the near future depending on the White House and President Trump resisting the pressures from the Defense Department and State Department to provide Turkey with the new aircraft. This could lead to Israeli adversaries and potential adversaries (and traditional adversaries) being provided with the F-35 JSF such that in a future engagement Israel would be facing as much as three to one odds against her in placing these planes into the air. This was also possible to a more limited extent with the F-15 and F-16. Perhaps it is time for Israel to return to the fighter aircraft market and produce her own next generation fighters.

Those claiming that Israel need never worry about her relations and military aid from the United States is overly optimistic. Granted, the United States military receives much data and suggestions for improvements on their military hardware used by Israel and the two nations have cooperated in numerous projects mostly in the anti-missile systems development. Such cooperation could be quickly curtailed with a change in who is President of the United States. We saw somewhat of a breakdown in the normal order of relations between Israel and the United States while President Obama was in the White House which was accentuated with the drafting and permitting the passing by the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 which was intended to prevent Israel from ever annexing the lands which were promised her through the San Remo Conference, the British Mandate and the initial White Paper. This was partially undone by President Trump with his recognition of Jerusalem as the Capital City of the Jewish State, which he stated was not anything as monumental as it was a simple recognition of history and truth. As many Americans will attest, President Trump will not be President forever, though for many it already feels that way.

The rising anti-Semitism which had struck the British Labour Party at every level, is rampant across Europe and is now becoming evident within the halls of Congress and will eventually threaten every high office in the land and should strike a terrifying chord amongst the Diaspora of Judaism as it portends their having to leave their comfortable existence as it may not remain so comfortable. Many will refuse to admit to their being a problem claiming that these small events are but anomalies and nothing to get all worked up over. They apparently have forgotten all the adages such as, “From the little acorn mighty oaks do grow.” The soil the world over had been prepared by numerous decades of growing anti-Israel protests, escapades within the United Nations structures and propaganda financed by the Arab oil conglomerates all of which have simply further and further infected the world preparing it for yet another round against the Jews as well as Israel. Make no mistake that once a nation begins to work against Israel, the follow-on rise in anti-Semitism will not be long in coming. It is next to impossible for a passive person with little care one way or the other over Israel to be swayed into the position that it is all because of the Jews and these Jews and their Israel are causing all the worldly problems when such is repeated ad nauseum in the news, in protests and now in the halls of Congress. This is how the start of anti-Israel and eventual anti-Semitism following in any nation and apparently around the world. The very beginnings are evidenced in these interactive maps, ADL in 2014 with access to a 2015 update on worldwide anti-Semitism. There have been numerous studies performed which depict the rise in anti-Semitism. We would like to present an idea for some enterprising people with the proper equipment and funds to track world wide anti-Semitism and the way it followed anti-Israel and anti-Zionist political tracks by NGOs and eventually governments. The link between these two types of hatred need be measured while knowing the result of the anti-Israel and anti-Zionist animosity is anti-Semitism and all to which that inevitably leads. Hatred of Israel and the Jews is nothing new in the world and there is a long history of the results of such inflammations of hatred from throughout history and it has never ended well for those who first began to persecute and hate the Jews.
