Rising Signs of America Sliding Down the Slippery Slope

Sometimes you pray that what is before you is not really what it seems to be. It makes it even worse when you have warned people that this was coming for over a half century. When the warnings were first voiced, people would denounce my observations as absurd because such things could not happen in America. When I would point out that these were the exact same denials which the Jews in Germany would hide behind even after it became undeniable, I would be castigated as suffering dementia or having psychotic episodes and needed help. The few times I would tell how the same rebuttals were given to Ze’ev Jabotinsky when he attempted to warn the Jews of Eastern Europe that they needed to make Aliyah and return to Israel because dark times were on the horizon, people walked away and no longer spoke with me. Now hardly a week goes by without some reference to the growing anti-Semitism or attacks upon Jews or Jewish institutions in the United States makes the news. As such things are underreported to the police and authorities and even less covered by the mainstream media, we can only assume that the problem is deeper and more wide spread than it appears. In Israel we know who and why we are attacked such as the brutal rape, torture and slaying of Ori Ansbacher, a beautiful and vibrant young lady, which we covered yesterday. In Israel, the only ones in denial of the reality and substance of the Arab demands are those who believe that were Israel to just return to the 1967 pre-Six Day War armistice lines from 1949 that the Arabs would live with us in peace. Why they believe this when they did not live with us in peace before the Six Day War and have sought our annihilation even before Israel was declared a nation is purely baffling. Guess we have those who like to dream of a world and then live in that dream ignoring all which occurs around them. The Arabs have made their intentions well known; they want Israel destroyed and its Jews dead.

When we started to think about what to write in this article to prove to some extent our feelings, we had not yet heard about the shooting of the windows of Temple Beth Israel-Shaare Zedek, a synagogue in Lima, Ohio. There were some optimistic qualifiers to the story. First was that nobody was injured and the damages were only to some of the windows in the synagogue. Further, the shots appear to have come from BB or pellet guns, and not a rifle or other firearm. Police believe it was mischief perpetrated by youths as this has happened to other buildings. We cannot state our following conjectures as facts as we have not checked with the Lima, Ohio police department. Still, we are willing to bet that the other buildings or houses which have also had windows damaged by such youthful exuberance were not houses of worship. We are willing to bet that there has not been a similar window popping of a church or other house of worship and this was the first such incident where a building of religious significance has been so damaged. The article reports that there were over thirty holes found in the windows of Temple Beth Israel-Shaare Zedek. Thirty-plus shots through the windows in one building takes some time and was not done randomly as the perpetrators were gallivanting along the street, this took a while to shoot that many shots through the synagogue windows. The shots counted were merely the ones which went through windows, and as some were on the upper floor, there were likely a fair number of additional shots targeting this one structure plus the story does not report any windows of other buildings in the vicinity being so struck. Despite the Lima, Ohio police treating this as mischief and not as a hate crime, it does bear noticing the number of holes, the fact that this was the sole target, the targeting of windows from numerous separate parts of the synagogue and the lack of previous similar events against other houses of worship. Even if this was mischief, it was malicious mischief targeting the synagogue and by dismissing the possibility of any anti-Semitic motives is probably premature and very likely erroneous. Just because this was likely committed by youths does not mean that they had no anti-Semitic reason behind their selected target. Allowing this to be dismissed as simply youths and the boys will be boys reason is nothing less than sloughing off any responsibility for actual investigation of the motives of the perpetrators and where allowing such could lead to far worse intents in the future. Big and serious problems come when the smaller problems are ignored allowing for a feeling of invulnerability and that such actions are permissible as long as they are targeting Jews and their house of worship. And what if next they shoot the windows of the homes of the Jews in Lima, Ohio, will that also be mere horseplay by excitable youths?

If only the above were a one-off, but we all know that is not the case. The problem of anti-Semitism, as much as most American Jews wish to push from their minds, is a fact that is at the starting point and how far it will reach is dependent on what the general public will allow and how much it is ignored by the body of the Jewish communities. If as Jews in and of America the reaction to such events is to simply report them and forget them and refuse to make a fuss or a big deal telling themselves that they should not make a mountain out of a mole hill and other submissive postures; then the public at large will take the view that if the Jews are not upset and have not protested with any vehemence, then why should we worry or even care, obviously it is no big deal, right? We have an example of what follows when we as Jews do not look out for ourselves and draw the public’s full attention to the fact that our building, our holy and precious building, was the sole religious house of worship so targeted and that this is not something which as Jews we can take lightly. As long as we are throwing around trite sayings, it just begs for us to add, from the little acorn does the mighty oak grow. Similarly, it is from the mischief and then the small little slights that are the prerequisite from where persecution inevitably will follow.

Now allow us to turn to where our, as Jews, disregarding the growing threat of anti-Semitism and claiming that all the anti-Semitism was from a small minority on the far right, of which has become the new term, the alt-right. Well, anti-Semitism has come full blown to the Democrat Party and as far removed from the alt-right, except for the Nazis which the Islamists not only admired, but plan on emulating in order to finish what they started, and they were elected to the United States Congress. Yes, the anti-Semitism which Jews have largely ignored and claimed could never happen in America have come to mainstream America. The college and university campuses have in too many instances become dangerous for Jews to wear any identifying clothing or jewelry and when a Jew is found out, they are demanded to denounce Israel. In all too many cases, these efforts to denounce Israel are backed and supported by Jews, so how can others be denied the right to demand that Israel be singled out for condemnation and brought low through the BDS Movement, a group which far too many young Jews have come to support simply because all the right and popular other kids are doing the Israel is the only evil in the world meme and I want to be in the in-group. These young Jews do not realize that siding with those who wish to persecute Israel will eventually come to persecute all Jews and they will start with the ones closest at hand, the Jews supporting their hatred of the Jewish State. Israel was not there the last time that the Jews needed a place to run and hide, though they could have attempted to make it to Israel past the British blockade of Jews escaping to the Holy Land, as the British caved to Arab demands. The people supporting BDS are in reality supporting the original Arab boycott of Israel and thus supporting the same people who denied the Jews a place to which they could have escaped the Nazis. It was the Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini who spent World War II in Berlin and the Balkans where he organized Muslim battalions for the Nazis who persecuted Serbs, Jews, Christians and others in the Balkans as well as making regular radio calls for the Arabs to rise up against the British, and often also the Jews, across the Middle East and North Africa. He was also instrumental with the start of the Arab boycott of Israel and numerous other anti-Semitic acts. His call for the Arabs to leave the Jewish State such that the invading Arab armies could simply ride in and murder everyone they encountered as only the Jews would remain. This is what was largely responsible for the start of the Arab refugee problem as over half of a million Arabs heeded his call and left their homes and fled to Jordan, Egypt (in the Sinai), Lebanon and Syria. The Mufti was Yasser Arafat’s mentor and role model as well as for Mahmoud Abbas who emulates Arafat.

Looking at the recent results of the elections in the United States, we find some peculiarly disturbing results. There is Ilhan Omar, whose tweets and comments have already earned her a rebuke from Nancy Pelosi (we are agreeing and with Ms. Pelosi); Rashida Tlaib, the individual who wrapped herself in the Palestinian flag at a victory party; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez whose hate for Israel likely has blurred into less than warm feelings for Jews generally (though her lack of knowledge on virtually everything may account for some of her bias); all need be added to those already in the Congress who are critical of Israel and are accommodating of Louis Farrakhan and other anti-Semites which includes but is not limited to Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee, Danny Davis, Andre Carson, Gregory Meeks, and Al Green. Ms. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota tweeted out in November 2012 “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.” Then, Ms. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had her infamous interview where she was questioned about her statements against Israel and her support for the BDS Movement where she laughingly stated that she knew little if anything about the political and other facts about the Arab-Israeli conflict stating she was not an expert on international affairs using ignorance as her excuse proving that her hate for Israel was blind and without any substantive basis which is a sign that her disturbing views about Israel were more likely a result of anti-Semitism. Ms. Rashida Tlaib insisted that she wore traditional Palestinian gown for her swearing-in ceremony on Capitol Hill. She has stated that she favors a one-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as opposed to a two-state solution that would establish a Palestinian state alongside Israel, and the state would be an Arab state where the Jews would have limited, if any, rights.

When one adds in the likes of Bernie Sanders and the other far left Social-Democrats and one starts to see a picture where Israel is once again singled out as the central problem with the world, then one begins to see the whole picture and the anti-Semitism hiding behind the rhetoric. This is nothing different from the blood-libel that the Jews are behind every calamity in the world, the Jews are responsible for the wars so they can make money, the Jews brought this plague upon us poisoning the wells, the Jews only crave money and the entire litany of tropes from across history with which hatred and persecution of the Jews originated all the way back to Egypt with the pharaohs and Persia with Haman. The rise of anti-Semitism in the world in general and in the United States is a troubling series of events. Allowed to continue unchallenged will result in a world turned against Israel where Israel will have no allies. It is this end that makes the rise in anti-Semitism and the recent vote where the anti-BDS legislation where six of the seven leading candidates for the Democratic nomination for president voted against the bill is telling and the story is not pretty. The days of bi-partisan support for Israel are gone and the future paints a troubling picture when the sole democracy in the Middle East is targeted while such places as Iraq, Syria, Libya and Iran as well as outside the Middle East also North Korea and the other nations with dismal human rights records such as Saudi Arabia (Jamal Khashoggi murder), Yemen, China, Turkey and the rest of the usual suspects are ignored and given a pass, but Israel is the main problem in the world. As if the United Nations was not enough, as if the Group of 77 electing Palestine and Mahmoud Abbas to lead their delegation in the United Nations and before the world was not enough, as if the European Union building fake communities without any permits or utilities just to steal Israeli designated lands in Area C were not enough, as if the Human Rights Council passing an anti-Israel motion at the start of every meeting were not enough, as if the Durban anti-Israel and anti-Semitic conferences were not enough and we could probably continue this for another few pages and make it a Hagaddah for a new future celebration of how we survived the next persecution which surely will come once the United States decides that Israel is a burden too far and the Jews are the reason for all their problems. We know that most will laugh and claim that these are simply exceptions to the support for Israel. That too was the reason not to worry. Anti-Semitism usually grows and rarely shrinks. Claim that our warnings are based on little but a puff of smoke and we will add one last trite saying, where there is smoke there is usually fire. The times where being a Jew outside of Israel becoming a threatened identity are coming, maybe not immediately, maybe not all too soon, but things will continue to accelerate unless the Jews demand that this time they are not going to remain silent. But as good Democrats and supporters of the underclass and downtrodden, the Jews will allow the hatred to grow because it will not be them who will be sought and taken out, it will only be those other Jews, the bad Jews; we who are completely in tune with the correct and human rights side are safe, and just keep telling yourself that until it is too late. When that time comes and you realize that you are threatened and in deep trouble, pray that Israel has survived, as you will have nowhere else to run.

Will Youth Investigation be Another Embarrassing Fiasco?

The Shin Bet is hot on the trail of some heinous Jewish terrorists from the Shomron and likely will once again not allow anything to get in their way of getting their confessions. We went through this scenario over a more serious episode where a home in Duma (pictured below), an Arab town in the Shomron southeast of Nablus, was the victim of an arson attack. There were fatalities from the arson and Hebrew graffiti with the words “Price Tag” written large. Immediately the Shin Bet was on the case. They smelled Jewish terrorism, which is a number one priority, and they will stamp it out no matter how minor. There were problems with their immediately believing it had to be over-zealous youths from some Yeshiva who perpetrated that horrific murderous act. First was the claim that whoever had set the fire was a group of two masked assailants who managed to force the inhabitants of the home, including an infant, to remain in the structure as it burned down causing the fatalities. There were many who had their doubts that any Jews, youth or adult, had perpetrated this act. Their evidence was short of compelling but should have raised at least some doubt or at least caution leading to a more wide-spread investigation. That was not what we had as the Shin Bet laser focused on their list of Jewish “fanatical youths” who simply had to have committed this act. After all, they had a secret hideout where they planned their attacks and pseudo-names by which they referred to one another when planning and so much more which made it obvious. The fact that two families in and around Duma were in the midst of a feud and that this house and other homes belonging to members of the two clans had been firebombed before and after never entered the picture of the investigation. There was graffiti in Hebrew and even the words “Price Tag” which made it evident that it could not have been perpetrated as part of the ongoing feud, it had to be the Jewish youths.

There were a few other items which made suspicions rise amongst many Israelis who looked into the evidence. There was the fact that there were supposedly witnesses who did not intervene. The two houses which were torched that night lay in the center of Duma which would have made any escape for Jewish youths doubtful. Further, Duma sits atop an open region which would have made escape difficult at best and improbable at least. The Shin Bet arrested a number of youths over the ensuing weeks and kept them in a secret place denying them any access to their families, lawyers or anyone other than Shin Bet operatives. In the end and after months of intensive interrogations the Shin Bet got their confessions from a small group which were immediately branded the nucleus of a Jewish youth terrorist gang. This nucleus included at least one youth under the age of fifteen. The end result was the court throwing out some of the confessions as they were procured under extreme duress bordering on torture. Later, it was found out that the Shin Bet had set up a stage prison where the guards and inmates were all Shin Bet and they attempted to use interrogations, threats from their agents posing as prisoners while other agent prisoners attempted to cajole confessions acting as protectors and friendly to the youths. These youths, at least one was seventeen and attempted to commit suicide to avoid further torturous treatment including sexual threats from operatives in cell with him. The youths were denied, after requests, being transferred to cells for youths and not being kept with adults. This had to be refused as everyone was Shin Bet and thus they were merely only at risk for as long as they claimed their innocence. If they would only admit they committed the arson, then they would have been treated better, but no kindness for these known miscreants. We could even use the phrase that the Shin Bet arrested all the usual suspects, as that was basically how they proceeded. Read this article explaining how the Shin Bet wrung their confessions from juveniles whom they treated worse than the usual respect maintained with Arab terror suspects. The argument that the treatment of these youths was not overly zealous was that they did nothing beyond what they usually do to receive confessions from Arab suspects. One then need worry if the Shin Bet is setting up fake prison settings all over Israel and making threats on suspect’s lives as their ordinary methods of operation. We think not and the courts apparently agreed that the Shin Bet had gone way too far in their pursuit of a confession from these youths simply because they were so sure that the act was perpetrated by Jewish youths.

This would not be the first time that acts of violence between two groups of Arabs used graffiti reading “Price Tag” in order to try to obscure the perpetrators real identity. But these were all actions from the past and nothing can be done to undo any of the trauma and psychological damage resulting from the Duma investigation. What remains mostly untold was the fact that the Shin Bet had arrested close to if not exceeding a half dozen youths, with one under thirteen, who were released after their run through the gamut of Shin Bet treatment with at least one being held for six weeks before being released. The Shin Bet was seeking victims who were weak enough to be broken so they would get their confession almost as much, if not more, than they were seeking the truth. That was the feeling that many got from this fiasco. Now we are at the leading edge of another incident of a similar nature. It was released by the Shin Bet that the incident was a terrorist “stone-throwing attack in which Aisha Rabi, a resident of Badi and mother of nine, was killed while riding in a car on Friday night, near the community of Rahelim on October 12, 2018,” according to the Shin Bet. There were a number of arrests made and according to reports by the Shin Bet, “The suspects were arrested for serious terrorist offenses, including murder.” All of the suspects “are minors studying at the Pri Ha’aretz Yeshiva in Rehelim near the site of the incident.” In preparation for what is expected to come, the Shin Bet has “identified a concerted and ongoing effort by those with an interest in slandering the organization and its employees and delegitimizing its activities. This attempt is worthy of condemnation and non-cooperation, and it does not deter the Shin Bet from continuing its activity to prevent terrorist acts, whether Jewish or Palestinian, under state values and for the security of the state.” They further emphasized, “It should be emphasized that Shin Bet interrogations are carried out according to the provisions of the law and the ruling, are subject to the supervision of the State Attorney’s Office as required and of the courts, and thus also in relation to this investigation.” They concluded their statements with the main statement which is presented to clear them of any possible misconduct because (emphasis ours, we hope), “During the year, the Shin Bet foiled hundreds of terrorist attacks throughout Judea and Samaria, among other things, including Jewish terror attacks.” The Shin Bet has even received the full faith and backing of Prime Minister Netanyahu shown in the below video.

Was this a terrible and criminal act, of course and regrettable. Were these youths the first individuals who would come to mind for such an act on a Friday night during the Sabbath? Well, it would not be the first place we would look, but we realize we are biased and thus incapable of free thought and a truly open mind. What this was is a tragedy but stone throwing at vehicles with large projectiles is not something which is particularly Jewish in this region. If these youths are guilty of these horrific actions, they are in far deeper trouble than what the Shin Bet has in mind; they will have to answer in there hereafter for their desecration of the Sabbath. In Judaism, you can break the rules on any other holiday and it is less serious of an offense than desecration of the Sabbath. Why, some may ask. Well, the Ten Commandments list only one holy day amongst its list, so we will quote from Shemot / Exodus – Chapter 20 verses 8 through 11, where it states,

Remember the Sabbath day to sanctify it.
Six days may you work and perform all your labor,
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord, your God; you shall perform no labor, neither you, your son, your daughter, your manservant, your maidservant, your beast, nor your stranger who is in your cities.
For [in] six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.

Breaking the sanctity of the Sabbath is very serious and one would pray that no Yeshiva youth would ever consider such a desecration before Hashem. The fact that this occurred on the Sabbath makes one suspicious that any Yeshiva youth would be acting with such an offence and breaking one of the Ten Commandments. Should any of these youths be found to have participated in such an act, they might also warrant being expelled from their Yeshiva or any suitable punishment their Rabbi decides. The incurring of the shaming before Hashem and their community will be the lasting guilt they will face should they have committed this shameful act. Breaking the Sabbath and committing an act which resulted in killing an innocent makes it two commandments that were broken should any of these youths prove to be guilty. We can only pray that they are exonerated.

The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments

But the problem is the suspicions that the Shin Bet is once again going to use extreme tactics and actions bordering, if not crossing into, torture to pry confessions out of any of these youths. Rabbi Haim Druckman has done something unprecedented for him, and any call from a Rabbi with such standing who has respect of both religious and secular Jews should be heard and weighed heavily, has called on the Prime Minister to command the release of these youths. His call comes amid reports that since then it has been reported that two more minors from the same yeshiva as the three arrested last week were arrested that night. Rabbi Druckman was quoted as stating, “I appeal to the prime minister from the depths of my heart to order the immediate release of the three young boys, the three youths detained by the Shin Bet.” Would this have been sufficient to garner actions from the Prime Minister to release these youths, well, actually not. But there is more and we suspect that Rabbi Druckman was made aware of what follows before he made his request, and if so, he was being excessively polite. The Rabbi of community of Kochav Hashahar (pictured below) has reported that he was told that the head of the Yeshiva testified to police that these boys were sitting with him at the same hour for the Shabbat meal. Now, unless these youths are capable of being in two places at the same time and breaking the laws of Physics, one must take this information as a verified alibi from a very credible person. We already know the response from the Shin Bet will most likely be, how many boys were having dinner with you at the time and can you verify that these three, now five, youths attended and had not skipped out and gone to commit mischief and desecrate the Sabbath all at once. Even should the response be that the head of the Yeshiva can verify that these youths were present, the interrogation must go on as the Shin Bet once again has their favorite meal, Jewish terrorists.

Rabbi of community of Kochav Hashahar

We suspect that the same routine they used before will be implemented again except this time they will require a more immediate form of persuasion as the tactics used previously are now known thus minimizing their effects. Still, enhanced interrogations more often than not get exactly the desired response, in this case an admission of guilt to the crimes committed. Their dogged determination is to be admired much of the time, but even should they get an admission in a confession, resulting from enhanced interrogation techniques, once the head of the Yeshiva testifies to the youths being at dinner with him at the time of the commission of the stone throwing, that will likely be the end of their case. The probability that the prosecuting attorney will be able to break down the head of the Yeshiva and throw into doubt his ability to witness the presence of the youths in question is, how does one say this politely, out of the question. Once the prosecutor relents and releases the witnessing head of the Yeshiva, the defense attorney is going to motion for the dropping of all charges, and he will receive what he requests. The Shin Bet already has sufficiently damaged their reputation for fair treatment of these youths as they have previously, in addition to the Duma scars to their image, have arrested religious youths from the Shomron before only to have the crime be solved exonerating them. This also casts doubts onto their activities in this case. Perhaps, in this instance, looking beyond their framing of this crime as religious youths targeting Arabs and throwing stones at their vehicles as they drive past on the road, this might be seen as people targeting Jews, Arabs or (insert name here) driving past on that Friday night. Those throwing the stones do not always know who is in the vehicle and behind the wheel. As for identifying the targeted vehicle by its license plate, have you ever tried to read the license plate of a vehicle doing fifty-plus kilometers per hour at night, even in the dusk of the final light of the sun? It does not always allow for discernment that your target has the correct license plate identifying them as Arab, Jew or whatnot. But, as the victim in this case was a Palestinian Arab, there is absolutely no possibility of Arab stone throwers misidentifying their selected target and striking a fellow Palestinian Arab. It is a well-known fact, according to some Shin Bet and other Israelis, that the Jewish youths are out throwing rocks at passing vehicles just as often and with similar sized projectiles as the Palestinian Arab youths. Further, the Shin Bet might even go so far as to claim that when it comes to terrorism, there is no difference between Jews and Arabs. Should that receive raised eyebrows and some tart-remarks, they may adjust the sentence to claim amongst youths expecting everyone to simply agree at that point. The only thing we can be assured of is that they are unlikely to allow these youths go as they have their teeth into their favorite meat, they will not allow such a tasty delight as proving that when it comes to religious people, they are all equally vile and there is no difference in the actions of Islamic and Jewish religious youths, they are all extremists and capable of anything with equal propensity for terrorist acts. The Shin Bet has drawn an equality between graffiti and slashed tires by Jewish youths with stabbing attacks and murders such as the Fogel family by Arab youths. What could be more obvious than that?

Europeans Youths Leading Western Return

Probably the least covered story due to Media’s preconceived notions blinding them from seeing a trend which is in its early stages as well as their willful blindness to anything religious are signs of a resurgence of morality and returns to religious belief in G0d even if the rejection of organized religious institutions had been retained. This has been evidenced recently with Jewish youths coming to protect the Synagogues from the assaults by anti-Israel rioting demonstrators who had overwhelmed the marginal force put up by police to prevent these demonstrations from turning violent and break containment in order to attack Jewish stores and Synagogues. Similar evidence has been seen at retreats with religious themes and counter demonstrations countering anti-Christian demonstrators. This silent revolution of sorts is a predictable reaction to the attacks on Judeo-Christian society which have been on the rise throughout the West, particularly in Europe. This prediction came up over a decade ago in discussions with friends on what could be expected to occur in Europe and the West in response to the growth, increased presence, and escalated forcefulness of Islam as the numbers of Islam grew and their actions became more aggressive as their numbers grew as a percentage of populations. This return to religious belief was predictable as a reaction of the youth against their parents’ desertion of religion over the past number of decades and a result of seeking answers in a different direction than the one taken by their parents. But what future might this portend?

This return to religious foundations will reinstate the possibility for a return to civil and social assistance to address societal safety nets which potentially could have the people insist that government be driven from being the sole domain of government and instead be returned to groups of individuals who would eventually form new churches and organized religious establishments free from the current systems which have driven the flight from religion in the current adult populations. Where this will ultimately lead is difficult to predict as the youths returning to religion are doing so in an age where an association of like believing people can span a large area geographically and remain tightly connected through electronic media and social networks. Their networks could also work as a means to establish a loosely coordinated international set of religious groupings which might control larger grouping numbers, virtual congregations and larger religious institutions, which would rival or supercede any traditional religious institutions, possibly approaching or exceeding the population of the Catholic Church or any of the Protestant Synods etc. This could lead to a religious revolution and potentially leading to a unification of the Christian religious institutions into a unified church where these new religious cyber-institutions through their growth and interactions could resolve differences which today set the individual religious institutions against each other preventing their combining their congregations and efforts thus leaving them in opposition instead of building and merging bringing more unity. These new religious networks would provide just such a unifying of the separate religious factions which might even produce a unified version of the Bible which incorporated all of the similarities and managed to mediate the differences between the existing numerous translations of the original writings. Such a result would strengthen the unity and permit a merging of the separate faiths thus increasing religious unity and forming a unified belief system allowing for increased strength through unified belief structures and definitions of principles. This may be the power that resolves some of the difficulties currently facing modern society and allows for an answer to some of the threats and challenges facing our current nations and communities. This could be just the solution which will reinvigorate our moral core in our societies which will return a special meaning which appears to be so lacking in so many places and interactions in our society. This could bring a rebirth of compassion, understanding and a morality which allows for a closer relationship between the otherwise disparate societies and civilizations at different places technologically, financially and seemingly spiritually bring people across the globe closer as they will have developed a mutually accepted core definition for the meanings and values in life, and with these shared values they will have developed a unified language through which they can exchange and share through their shared faiths and human values, things which today work more to separate too many of us and our societies. Perhaps the future really is going to be bright and promising.
