There were more statements by Democrat Party Presidential hopefuls stating that aid to Israel should be used to force Israel to surrender more lands to the Arabs. They are falsely claiming that “official United States policy” supports the two-state solution. The actual official position for the United States is fully defined under the The Anglo American Treaty of 1924 in which the United States joined the rest of the allies of World War I in support for the Mandate System and the Balfour Declaration including the provisions from the San Remo Conference. All of these paint a very simple picture, under international law, Israel has the rightful possession and ownership of all the lands west of the Jordan River stretching to the Mediterranean Sea. That includes the regions of Judea and Samaria or the Shomron or West Bank, no matter what you choose to call these regions, it all still belongs to Israel and that is the official United States policy under treaty. But why should we expect any historic knowledge to have any influence when the popular leftist belief is Israel is pure evil and should be punished simply for attempting to exist and have relative safety. We have spoken of this before and expect the position on Israel with the Democrat Party to simply continue to slide to an ever harder and rash position as time progresses.

There are those who have proclaimed that supporting Israel has become a partisan issue with the Democrat Party taking a strict line supporting the Arab Palestinian demands and insist that Israel is the obstacle to peace while the Republican Party has pledged to support Israel completely without regard for the propriety of their actions. Knowledgeable Zionists paying attention would probably give a less optimistic view of the United States. They would likely agree on the view given describing the positions of the Democrat Party but partially missed the reality about the Republican Party. Many of the old guard elite and the alt-right are completely opposed to even the idea of a Jewish State believing the founding of Israel was a grievous mistake of judgement and point to all the difficulties as their proof. What is true is that, despite the accusations of his being anti-Semitic, President Trump is a strong supporter of Israel which has been proven by his actions including recognizing Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel and Israeli ownership of the Golan Heights. President Trump’s “Deal of the Century” has still to be released and that will be the final exam on how far he will back Israel. The rumors have run the gauntlet from it all belongs to Israel to some form of the two-state solution. Of course, anything short of it all belongs to Israel falls short of international law and obligations as written in existing treaties. This reality will become completely evident when the problem is adjudicated on the stage of the World Courts in Geneva. Just to place a cherry on top, Article 80 of the United Nations Charter also places the power of the United Nations in support of the Mandate Systems as defined by the League of Nations.
All of this is not something which should come as much of a surprise to most people. All one need do is read just a little about the atmosphere at virtually any of the top and largest colleges and universities and their progressive articulation of every problem in the world. The propensity of these campuses is to hold BDS conventions, Palestinian Solidarity Weeks and a plethora of other anti-Israel demonstrations and events. Add to this that their teachers often hold hard leftist positions which leads to their lessons slanting against Israel seeking to meet the demands of heavy Islamic pressures which come with their donations and founding of Middle East departments with the professors all meeting the criteria set by the donors. AOC along with Tlaib and Omar are the new Democrat norm along with Sarsour and almost all, if not all, of the Democrat hopefuls for President in the upcoming 2020 elections in America. This slides towards ending the good relations between the United States and Israel. The State Department has opposed Israel since her inception. The Defense Department has supported Israel as their testing grounds of their equipment in actual combat. This has led to some crucial adjustments to military hardware which were overlooked during their design. Fortunately, as pointed out in the article linked above, Israel is no longer dependent upon aid from the United States which now does more for providing sales for the American defense industries. If necessary, Israel could resume producing their own aircraft, the first since the Lavi fighter which was the initiating factor to the Israel-American military cooperation.

Dependent upon which party takes control of the White House and Congress in the 2020 elections will be whether the United States will continue their friendly relations with the Jewish State of Israel. The reality is that politics is heading away from Israel and eventually rejecting everything related to the Judeo-Christian ethics. This shift in the politics of the entirety of the Western World will inevitably lead to their complete break with Israel blaming Israel for being the originating force behind the Judeo-Christian ethics and continuing to believe in the core beliefs which would become the eventual basis for Western society. The newest view is that Western civilization spawned all the world’s evils despite being the driving force which has eradicated the vast majority of slavery and numerous other evils. But the new view of the social sciences is behind much of this as it rejects any goodness resulting from Western civilization. Should everything reach what is the obvious end of these teachings and philosophy, Israel may end up as the last bastion of Western Judeo-Christian ethics. What will be unfortunate of such an eventuality is that Israel may not find any allies to stand with her and, if fortunate, will find at least a few nations who will not stand against her. Europe may already be on the verge of becoming lost as far as Western and Judeo-Christian society being at its core and replacing it with Sharia and the United States along with the remainder of the Western world might not be all that far behind. The Democrat Presidential hopefuls, some of the new members of Congress and the long-standing anti-Israel position taken by the Congressional Black Caucus all indicate the continuing movement which will lead to Israel being rejected by United States political leadership. Currently, such would be largely a part of the Democrat Party, but this does not excuse Republican Party which will probably follow along behind the current trends. Prophesy expected there to come a time when Israel would be forced to stand alone. This has never looked more possible than when watching the current political rhetoric.
There is one particular word which the leftists, Arabists, terrorist leaders, BDS advocates and the rest of the destroy Israel groups love to pull from their bag and berate Israel for winning, Proportionality is its name. There is one area where Jews have more diverse and deep knowledge than most modern nations, and that is war. This is not because the Jews started all the wars throughout history. It is because the Jews, no matter what nation they resided within, would volunteer to fight in wars to protect their homeland even though that homeland was not Jewish but because it was where they resided and they appreciated being accepted. The one item which has been consistent in warfare until extremely recently was that there was nothing to be gained by proportionality and ensuring that your side and your enemies both suffer similar losses. Here is a little secret, that is not the formula for winning a war. The formula for winning a war is to force disproportional losses upon your enemy while minimizing your own losses. So, from where does this idea that the IDF soldiers must ensure proportionality in every engagement?
Unfortunately, the idea of proportionality is a direct result of the IDF view of conducting any conflict whereby the IDF is utilized in ways by which the numbers of civilian casualties are kept to a minimum. The various wars with Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror organizations are where these terror fighters tend to hide behind crowds of civilians, use children as chest protectors and fire rockets and mortars from atop schools, hospitals, mosques, and residential blocks of apartments. The one place where these attacks are never fired from are the neighborhoods where the terror leaders reside in nice homes near a modern mall and numerous restaurants. They make sure to preserve their lives while victimizing their own people and their safety. The terror forces of Hamas and Islamic Jihad see the deaths of Palestinian Arabs as a win-win situation as they can display these corpses as murdered by the IDF regardless of their being placed in harm’s way by their own government forces. Should a terrorist be killed, remove their rifle, their spare ammunition magazines, grenades and other weaponry or markers and instantly there is another civilian murdered. Further, if it can be shown that the IDF efforts killed more Gazans than Israelis killed by the terrorists, this is where Proportionality comes into play. Many of the countries from whence these demands for proportionality be practiced by Israel are themselves not obeying the concept of proportionality when their nation is in the field of battle. The United States and Britain are two of the nations for whom proportionality is great for thee but not for me. The CBS News report spells out plainly that the allied forces in Afghanistan efforts resulted in a greater number of civilian deaths and injuries than the Taliban during the same period. While the United States, predominantly, was singled out for the largest share of blame, there still was no call for proportionality. Often, whenever the term proportionality is pulled out, it is done to paint Israel into a corner and to threaten the young IDF soldiers with charges of war crimes in the hope that when that split second decision comes, the IDF soldier will think longer as to whether to shoot and thus the result is the Israelis will face far higher casualties. Of course, this is the aim of this insipid and morose game, to murder Israelis, or simply put, murder Jews.
General Patton was quoted in a movie about World War II stating, “No dumb bastard ever won a war by going out and dying for his country. He won it by making some other dumb bastard die for his country.” Under such advice, there could not be any belief that General George Patton would have ever supported proportionality, he supported victory, complete victory. Bringing this closer to home, allow us to quote Azzam Pasha immediately before the dawn assault upon Israel on May 15, 1948, the very morning Israel was brought into being. He stated that the next morning was to bring an assault with an intent best described so succinctly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at that time, who stated, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” This was what was intended by the six Arab armies from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq and Jordan which were perched on every border just awaiting the command. We fail to note any attempts at proportionality in the Arab intent the very morning Israel first breathed air in her own lands. But the Arabs forces are never required to consider proportionality when killing Israelis, or as they look at it, killing Jews. The Arab and Islamic forces which have intent of destroying Israel are permitted to use any amount of disproportional force to wipe Israel off the map while Israel must be mindful of proportionality. This will be spread to Europe and eventually the United States as the Islamic world continues to spread across the globe in another attempt to bring the world under Islam.
Quoting President Trump as reported by CNBC, the President has made a concession which could come back down the road to hamstring American military forces. President Trump claimed foolishly that he called off the attack on Iran after their downing a multi-million-dollar United States surveillance drone Tweeting, “We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on 3 different sights when I asked, how many will die,” Trump wrote. “150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not […] proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. I am in no hurry, our Military is rebuilt, new, and ready to go, by far the best in the world.” This sets a very dangerous and impossible standard for the United States military to meet and with President Trump bringing proportionality into the discussion, it will only hurt American and allied forces. There do exist ideals which one hopes their military can live up to and standards which they are required to live up to and these must be kept separate. The ideals you teach the troops as guidelines for ethical behavior and the troops are to bear these in mind when engaging an enemy. These ideals are not to be advertised to the world as they place troops in less favorable positions when engaging on the field of battle. Then there are standards which every soldier is expected to obey and use as guides for all actions on the field of battle. Standards can be shared as these should be the rules by which every military practice in warfare. Unfortunately, when your enemies hold to a different set of moral codes, then there will be no reciprocity and these restrictions then only serve to restrict one side. This will be the same once again as the War in the Pacific where prisoners of war held by the Japanese were often mistreated, malnourished denied religious observance and even marched to death by the Japanese as well as torture used as a means of forcing compliance. Japanese prisoners were fed the same as the allied troops, had their own areas with a bed (cot) and small chest where they could keep any belongings and they were permitted to pray as they saw fit. Any coming war with Islamic forces will have consequences and disproportionate rules of engagement where all attempts will be made to force proportionality upon the Western forces as theirs are moral based armies who rely on superior firepower and technology for their upper hand while the Islamic forces will be living as best they are able to the description of what was given above by Azzam Pasha.
The problem is that most of the Western World will now actually attempt to fight a proportionate war simply because they desire to meet the highest possible standards in their troops and methods of engagement. While we saw much of the Islamic concept of warfare where all is fair in war, we are not sure about love as none will be forthcoming to the United States or Israel in the coming fight for control of Europe, Middle East, Northern Africa and the Americas, all of which are fronts which Iran expects to dominate. Thus far, Iran has walked casually across Iraq, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon without a single complaint by the United Nations and the world. Israel, on the other hand, has received several rebuts for attacking Iranian forces, be they IRGC, Hezballah or Iranian military forces when they launched upon Israeli forces and civilian towns. The math makes everything become so painfully obvious as to how the United Nations reacts to legitimate efforts by Israel, the United States and others when their efforts bring them into conflict with Islamic forces. In the United Nations there are over twenty Arab States and an additional thirty-five Islamic nations and finally the NAM group (Non-Aligned Movement) which itself has one-hundred-twenty member states in and of itself allowing for these allied groups to rule virtually every United Nations Agency, the General Assembly and should the United States decide to no longer protect Israel in the Security Council, these allied forces will be able to bring the weight of the world down on Israel simply because it is hated and the United States because, well, they are too powerful and require being brought down low so the rest of the world can overtake her.
The apparent coming war which will begin in the Middle East will be fought on Iranian terms as the United States, specifically due to President Trump not desiring to initiate any conflict, thus leaving the initial launching of hostilities to be at the behest of Iran. The questions surrounding what Iran decides will be their initial offensive moves. There is one item which is all but guaranteed is that Hezballah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the IRGC forces in Syria will launch literally thousands of rockets and missiles against Israel. Whether this will be the entirety of the initial Iranian assault will also be determined by Iran. The question is will any nations support Israel or will she be left to fight completely on her own. Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezballah, an Iranian armed and supported terrorist army which controls all of southern Lebanon and used by Iran in Syria and Yemen, has promised that his armaments are capable of striking all of Israel which he states will be the destruction of the Jewish State. Nasrallah has stated that should the United States and Iran enter into a conflict; this would be the sign which would allow his army to launch rockets on Israel for as long as they are capable. With Hezballah having over one-hundred-fifty-thousand rockets and missiles of varying sizes, ranges and warheads, their intent will be to launch as many of these armaments as rapidly as they are capable upon the major cities and other vital targets. Nasrallah bragged that Hezballah used to be capable of striking barely south of Haifa can now strike targets even beyond Eilat, the southernmost Israeli city. There was one item in his speech which was almost comforting as he stated that they were not intending to begin such a conflict immediately. Still, such is not all that comforting as should Iran order their terrorists to strike and attempt to destroy Israel, they will obey their orders leading to Israel facing a war on at least two fronts, Hezballah from southern Lebanon, Hamas and Islamic Jihad attacking from Gaza and combined forces engaging Israel from southwestern Syria. These forces have already launched rockets and drones into Israel bringing Israeli responses to bring these attacks to a close, but these are nothing compared to what the Iranian allies are capable of using.
Then there is the final threat to Israel and the United States. This also brings us to the point where history has taught that the human race has always utilized the weapons which brought the previous war to a close as the opening act in the next major conflagration. This brings us to the question which has been avoided, does Iran have nuclear weapons, if so, how many, what yields and how many missiles and rockets capable of delivering such weapons. With several Iranian military commanders and politicians claiming that Israel is merely a one or two bomb nation strongly implied the use of nuclear weapons. The claim that Iran does not currently possess nuclear weapons we find to be an obvious refusal by the Western World to accept what should be an obvious truth. Iran has been seeking nuclear weapons since at the least the mid 1990’s. This has provided Iran with more than sufficient time to develop nuclear fission weapons and leads to a high probability that they also possess thermo-nuclear weapons and have had the time to miniaturize these weapons such that they will easily sit atop Iranian ballistic missiles. Add to this that Iran has perfected the means of launching ballistic missiles from freighter cargo ships which means they could easily attack the United States using this method. Iran places their lack of belief that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed by nuclear weapons just as they claim the Holocaust never happened. The rejection of the Holocaust is used to claim that the Jews use this to pressure the world into doing what Israel desires and the atomic bombs ending World War II were used to prevent other nations from attaining these weapons leaving the United States as the most powerful nation. When one adds that Iran has Uranium mines within their borders, a heavy water reactor which can produce plutonium and many advanced centrifuges with which to produce a uranium based weapon all without having to import much of anything before having all required to make any variety of nuclear weapons their scientists are capable of building. It appears to be preposterous to believe that Iran has not already acquired a nuclear arsenal which they could launch at Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United States fleets and anyone else they decide to strike setting off the next war.

This leads to questions as to whether Israel should preemptively strike the weapons stores which have been built up by Hezballah and other Iranian proxies or should the United States find a means of destroying any nuclear weapons Iran may be preparing to use. This next war could start whenever Iran decides that such is to their advantage. Human history does not make one comfortable with the threats growing from Iran and her allied terrorist forces. Iran can block almost all oil shipments from the Middle East by blocking the Straits of Hurmuz and isolate Europe from Asia, the Middle East and Pacific Ocean by closing the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait closing off the Red Sea making the Suez Canal completely useless. The cards would initially appear to be stacked in Iranian favor which is likely one of the reasons that they have yet to pull the trigger, so to speak. Eventually, Iran will finish their countdown and the attacks will be launched. We have little idea how much of the countdown is left and where the initial war will be launched. The two things we can rely upon are that the United States and Israel will be amongst the initial targets. The rest we will simply have to wait and see. Such a situation is far from ideal but that has been the problem with the Western World, always reacting to what has been thrust upon it and always playing catch-up as they always allow their enemies to decide and direct the initiating salvos.
Just walk with us here for a while and let us examine how different the world would be if Israel were just one nation amongst all the others, no separate treatment, no organized and oil financed hate programs (or should they be called what they are, economic pogroms), no organized programs blanketing the larger and more prestigious universities and colleges, no oil financed terrorism on her borders, no rockets fired into her lands from much of her border, no looming threats from Hezballah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, no dictatorships set up on her borders for the sole reason of genocidal hatred driven murders, no intifada and no constant United Nations condemnations; just a little nation nestled along the eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea, a nation about the size of New Jersey (see map if New Jersey replacing Israel with approximations of cities paired from each), a nation struggling from her birth just over seventy years ago and a nation which is really a marvel when one looks at her with unbiased eyes, objectively and without any tints of hatred or vile recriminations clouding vision obscuring the truth.

Imagine that Israel almost never makes the headlines in the New York Times at least twice each month claiming some recriminating proof that Israel is a terrible place. It really is not as we live here and it is simply very nice. Imagine that Israel was not forced into a war every two to three years because hundreds to thousands of rockets were being fired over her border. By the way, the first sign that something was wrong, as reported by the New York Times, would be when Israel finally responds to the assaults on her people. Then it is front page news, Israel attacks Gaza or Lebanon and somewhere around the next to last paragraph on a back page after two referrals to follow the article they finally report that Israel had been besieged by rockets for the past six weeks and the escalation had reached a point where it was no longer able to tolerate. Another way Israel is cast in a bad light in reports in the news is when they report that the Israeli police or the IDF killed a Palestinian Arab and eventually the article will note that the Palestinian Arab who was killed was attempting to kill the police or IDF attacking them with a knife, and they are not using the kitchen butter knife, even though some do take the meat cleaver or the largest carving knife from their kitchen while others use knives designed for combat situations. Without such reports along with the glowing coverage given to anti-Israel protests, many of which are paid for by the oil kingdoms of the Middle East or the Muslim Brotherhood and its numerous organizations which act in concert with the Muslim Brotherhood directions. We just have to bring up one reporter who was asking questions of an IDF command officer who had a question concerning the Iron Dome systems. This reporter asked the IDF commander why Israel has not provided the Iron Dome systems to the people of Gaza to protect them from missiles fired into Gaza. The commander simply called on the next reporter. The biggest item to report on in the Gaza war was the casualty statistics with some coverage reaching stages of ghoulish proportions that it often appeared as if they were asking, where are the dead Israelis, actually more like where are the dead Jews. But enough about how Israel is mercilessly vilified by much of Western media, let us go on to what if Israel made the news as often as and for similar reasons as Canada or Shangri-La.
If Israel were any normative nation which is the homeland of its people, obviously not all of them as some reside elsewhere just as every one of French origins do not reside in France, not all Chinese live in China or Taiwan and not all Filipinos reside in the Philippines. Thus, not all Jews live in Israel. Further, not all Israeli citizens are Jewish, only about 70% with close to 20% are Arab plus 2% Christian as well as 2% Druze with Bedouin, Hindu, Filipinos and Baha’I making up the remaining 4% or there abouts. Another item which people often get wrong is that the Jews of Israel are not predominantly European. There is a close balance between European Jews and Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews largely refugees from the Arab and Muslim worlds. The remainder which accounts for between ten and fifteen percent (some guesswork here) are largely from India, South America and Ethiopia. The Jews in Israel span the racial spectrum from Caucasian to Indian or Ethiopian and virtually every possible inclusion between. Israel, other than for the large percentage being Jewish, is a fairly normal appearing Western nation with people from all corners of the globe and racial mix probably more varied than the average European nation. Certainly, the population is very diverse for a nation of Israel’s size. Israel does make one list which is very positive, the happiness index of nations where Israel was number eleven, last time we checked. As residents and citizens of Israel, we can verify that Israelis are, as a whole, very happy people, very helpful, courteous, kind and understanding. Our little theory is that the having to mix populations from varied origins, most arriving with little wealth, and reviving a language which had been considered a dead language used solely in religious services longer than Latin, namely Hebrew, that Israel has one of the most diverse and interesting mixes of the various populations.
Israel would make a great success story if only anybody cared to report the positive sides of Israel. Israel is the first nation to be revived after over two millennia of her being conquered and her people dispersed over the entire planet. Hebrew is the only language to have been considered dead to be revitalized and brought into daily use. Within seventy years Israel has become one of the leaders in the technology fields, specifically apps and computer technologies, both hardware and software. Israel has been named the Start-up Nation as she has the most start-up companies per capita even ahead of the United States who came in a respectable second. Israel is a leader in agricultural technologies. She has led the way in providing agricultural know how to African farmers assisting them in using less water and gaining greater yields from their crops. Israel also has provided numerous small villages and tribal villages with electrical power and cell phone service allowing them contact with the outside world for the first time. These systems use batteries which are recharged from solar technologies while they provide a tower and microwave relay to connect them with cell service. Israel is a leader in healthcare industries inventing new procedures, inventing or improving medical devices such as heart stents, making strides in cancer treatment and research and also making progress with treating age related diseases and many of the mentally handicapping diseases and birth defects. One of the areas in which an Israeli company has made strides is developing procedures for treating infant heart disabilities and spreading their knowledge. They have taught many surgeons these procedures and even in many cases opened up new departments in the hospitals whose physicians they have trained with all the required equipment, monitors and supplies. For young children with heart problems outside of the places treatments are available, they bring the child with family to Israel and treat them in Israel (this includes bringing children from nations with no relations with Israel clandestinely through a third neutral nation while never marking Israel on their travel documents, as doing so could endanger their lives. Excuse the plug here, but this group has a descriptive name, Save a Child’s Heart. These would be the kind of news stories coming from Israel if only she were a normal nation.
But Israel is not just another nation, is she. No, she is the home, ancient home, of the Israelites who later became the Judeans which, thanks to the Greeks and Romans after them simplifying things like names, simply Jews. This makes Israel the Jew amongst the nations of the world. This little statement defines the problem succinctly. Being the Jewish nation makes Israel the new and largest target for those who hate Jews, and we are talking about more than a few neo-Nazi and white supremacists. Anti-Semitism has a number of categories under which one must seek to find the truth. There are the above alt-right groups, communists, most of Islam, and the latest and fastest growing group, the progressives and the left, specifically the far left. The rapidly growing leftist anti-Semitism is the reason that Israel is so vilified by the Western media which has a far left bias. The hate-fest on the left is only going to grow and will become a force in Western politics sooner rather than later. The most recent elections in the United States may have the first wave of true anti-Israel bias declaring the Congress as their home turf causing Israel possible difficulties as described in this article. Then there are dark clouds over parts of Europe. Ireland is considering passing mandatory BDS legislation forbidding doing business with many Israeli companies. Britain may elect Jeremy Corbin as their next Prime Minister along with the Labor Party and its reported anti-Semitic problems which are gaining power and have found their home right along with the far left. The far left across Europe will continue to pose a greater and greater set of problems for Israel in her relations with much of Europe and the European Union. Israel’s best friends come from groups which make progressive and leftist Jews nervous, the right wing nationalists of Europe and the Republican Party in the United States. Israel was once a strong-point for leftists but Israel did something unforgivable, she started winning. Israel is no longer the weak surprise victor in the Six Day War. With her repeat performance after a debacle of a start to the following Yom Kippur War, Israel was now a problem because she was proving to have inner strength and resilience. Then there was the deal-breaker, the Israeli economy started to improve and continued to improve as the governments became more conservative and supportive of Capitalism. Israel stepped back slightly from her socialist beginnings which endeared her to the left and became a strong capitalist nation with nationalist governments becoming the norm.
Then Israel refused to surrender completely to the Palestinians, the new media and leftist darlings who could do no wrong. That was the last straw for the far left as they fully throatily support the Palestinian cause. As the average citizen of Europe and North America rely heavily on the mainstream media and the news blurbs they catch between half-hour blocks of their favorite music, their knowledge about Israel is between scant and none. We are talking real and actual knowledge, not the wild and horrific picture Israel has been painted as by the media. Some of the editorial cartoons and many op-ed pages are close to being reconditioned material taken from Der Stürmer, the Nazi tabloid. Just as hateful against the Jews is telling old blood libels as news, they also published sexually explicit, anti-Catholic, anti-Communist, and anti-monarchist propaganda. They were the Fascist paper which supported the Nazis but without carrying their twisted cross thus gaining more general acceptance. The problem is Israel has replaced the Jew as the target for anti-Semitic hatred. Zionism is the new Judaism and is the beast which must be driven into the ground and killed. This is the only explanation for why the media parrots the lies and exaggerations provided as the official line by Hamas concerning Israel during the conflicts they have had with Israel. Then, when Hamas tells the truth that stating, “Fifty of the sixty-two Gazans killed in border violence were our members,” nobody prints it or shows the video (see below) on the news of the Hamas official broadcast and the silence was deafening. But then again, why show a story which has the people your reporting has been covering for and telling the Western world that the Israelis have murdered innocent peaceful protesters along the Gaza border all day long and then have Hamas official spokesperson claim that fifty out of sixty-two, over eighty-percent, of the casualties were Hamas operatives, terrorists, not innocent peaceful protesters. To make matters worse adding insult to injury, from further down in the article, allow us to quote, “The Iran-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad had said on Tuesday that three members of its Saraya al-Quds military wing were killed by Israeli forces in Khan Younis.” That makes it fifty-three terrorists out of sixty-two, that is over eighty-five percent, on this single day of rioting and sending incendiary balloons into Israel, with rushing the border fence, burning thousands of tires, attempted breaching of the border, snipers crawling to the fence and more violence and almost all the Western nightly news showed the youths playing soccer and families having picnics claiming these were the examples of everyone at the Hamas ordered March of Return protest. The pictures shown on the newscasts were of the peaceful protesters who were close to half a mile from the fence and the violence. But the news cameras continued to point eastward with all the actual events taking place behind them to the west towards the border with Israel, but they had a story to sell. Israel murdering innocents during peaceful protest, that was their story and they were going to stick with it, and this means they could never show the prideful Hamas spokesperson claiming they had fifty shahids, dead martyrs, out of the sixty-two fatalities with Islamic Jihad claiming three others, nothing but the best chosen shots for the news, no reality television here.
That is what is so aggravating and sorry all at the same time. Israel is given short shrift no matter what she does. There is not an accusation which has not been leveled at Israel, as she can do nothing right. We face a world which desires that we surrender our lands to people who would just as soon see us dead. The one item we can give to Hamas is at least they say exactly what they mean. In their charter, they say it as plain as noon on a hot August day, they desire completely eradicating the Jews from the world. They desire to destroy Israel but they also have plans for what to do afterwards, murder every Jews on planet Earth. They desire the murder of approximately fifteen-million Jews ending our existence on planet Earth. Hamas has plans to complete the work begun by the Roman Empire, then followed up upon by Adolph Hitler and Hamas will pick up the remainder. That is what comes from the world’s first and greatest persecution of the whole of Israel completely, and this is exactly what the Quran calls for, from every follower of Allah must have this visceral hatred for the Jewish People. The Jews are to be denied basic rights such as land ownership. The Jews are to be eradicated and Iran has adopted this theme aiming to be the first to actually complete just such a task. This is part of the dream, that they not only eradicate the Jews within Israel and restore Islamic rule over the lands currently held by Jews, but then Hamas will do whatever it takes to eradicate the Jews in their entirety. This is simply further proof that their leadership is obsessed with destroying the Jewish People. This will leave them permanently dissatisfied and will bring about their downfall.
