Temple Mount Show and Tell the Truth

Three Arab terrorists entered the Temple Mount followed briefly later carrying a satchel with fully automatic weapons and one pistol (see video below). They use al-Aqsa Mosque to exchange the weapons and then another mosque in which they change clothing making themselves ready for their attack. When entering the Temple Mount they wear light clothing so as not to raise suspicions wearing heavy clothing. The jackets used to conceal the weapons were likely in the same satchel as the weapons. They put on their jackets used to conceal their weapons until they launch their attack, their design was to murder Jews, to commit Arab terror (no longer will BTC use the term Palestinian in reference to these murderous terror prone groups and will reserve it for the true Palestinian Arabs of the Jordan Opposition Coalition (JOC) headed by Mudar Zahran).

The next video is what followed, the Arab terror assault on two police guarding one of the areas just off the Temple Mount, a relatively narrow passage with little room to move to escape the automatic fire. The attack murders two police and injures a third police officer (see video below). The two police officers were Druze, not Jews as the terrorists were hoping to murder, and are just as mourned as any Jewish officer for they are also our brave youth. This was the reality faced by Israel and the people desired, demanded, action from their government. The ability to use the Temple Mount for terrorist attacks and infiltration with weapons had to be prevented as such actions threaten every Jew throughout Israel and all feel the possible threats.

This was what brought the instillation of magnetometers at the entrances in order to prevent anyone from taking weapons up onto the Temple Mount. These scanners were placed outside the Temple Mount entrances, not inside so as not to change the atmosphere on the Temple Mount. The Arabs rioted because they demand to have the right to carry weaponry onto their sacred grounds and possibly stash arms in numbers inside al-Aqsa. This would simply be an escalation as not that long ago the Arabs stored rocks of throwing size and other objects including Molotov Cocktails which used to be employed to attack police on the Temple Mount in the last round of riots (see image below). This is the inside of the precious and most holy of places for Muslims in Jerusalem, presumably the third holiest city in Islam currently (that denotation changes as history unfolds), the al-Aqsa Mosque. This is a place that the Arabs demand that Israeli police must never be permitted to enter, as that would defile the sanctity. The pile of rocks apparently does nothing to the sanctity.

al-Aqsa Mosque Rock Pile for Rioting

al-Aqsa Mosque Rock Pile for Rioting

That was the picture inside the al-Aqsa Mosque a few year ago after Mahmoud Abbas demanded that Arabs protect the sanctity of the al-Aqsa Mosque when he first used the video he made, the same video which was released again just over two weeks ago on July 19 in our article Rebroadcast of Abbas is Declaration of War where we warned that another round of violence was being readied. The murder of the two police and the murder of three members of a family and the severe wounding of a fourth attacked while having a celebratory Shabbat dinner after the birth of a grandson discussed by us in our article It is a War and the War Claimed Four More Victims. Now we would like to do a thought experiment. No, don’t fret, we promise that it will be an easy thought experiment. Remember the picture above of the weapons, the throwing rocks, in the al-Aqsa Mosque. Replace each rock with one of the items below which were the new weapons smuggled onto the Temple Mount, into the al-Aqsa Mosque and then used to murder the two Israeli police officers (see picture below). Imagine what would happen with a riot breaking out on the Temple Mount and hundreds of Arab young men and women storming out from the al-Aqsa Mosque into Jerusalem murdering as they swarm across the city’s western business districts. Perhaps Prime Minister Netanyahu desires preventing just such a result by placing the detectors outside the entrances to the Temple Mount. Should something like this actually happen and the Israelis manage to prevent a worsening situation resulting in close to or over one hundred Arab deaths, the world media would run headlines which would resemble this, “Israeli Response Kills Hundreds of Arabs in Jerusalem,” and you would read until the fourth or fifth paragraph out of seven, eight or at most nine before you would find reporting that it was a response to Arabs attacking Israelis. The words which would never make it into their reporting would include, but not be limited to, Israeli defenders, Arab terror, or anything else which would clear the picture and illustrate that it was not an Israeli attack where the Arabs were on the defensive but actually the opposite, an Arab mass terror attack initiated from the al-Aqsa Mosque with hundreds of armed Arabs storming the western end of Jerusalem murdering all they encounter until stopped by the Israeli emergency response. Why the world, especially leftists in the media, will blame Israel, as they have in every previous such event, is a question which can have only one answer, anti-Semitism.

Now we can proceed to discuss briefly the reason the riots in Jerusalem, Hevron, in Judea and Samaria as well as in Amman, Jordan around the Israeli Embassy where a Jordanian worker stabbed an Israeli embassy guard with a screwdriver and was shot dead. The guard who shot the attacking workman was arrested by Jordan and then the real threats began. King Abdullah II then contacted the ever-ready Europeans and United States State Department claiming, that should the situation with Israel destroy the sanctity of the Temple Mount with their equipment, metal detectors and all the cameras, his kingdom might erupt and overthrow him; and he asked that they assist him in restoring the peace Israel was threatening both in Jordan and the Arab areas in Judea and Samaria. He added an addendum for the United States claiming that Jordan, under his rule and only his rule, is vital and necessary for the Trump Doctrine against terrorism will fail with devastating consequences should he be overthrown and the rioting threatened just such a consequence. Europe does not require all that much to demand Israel surrender to the Arabs at every turn. Proof comes in the buildings built for the Arabs, which all have European Union flags placed in an emblem detailing their construction and purpose, to change realities on the ground in Area C and force Israel to surrender all the lands liberated in the Six Day War. The State Department of the United States used the threat to President Trump and his efforts started in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as their reason for pressuring Israel. Israel folded; there is nothing more to say about the result, Israel simply folded before world pressure.

We really hope that the Temple Mount does not become the central point and supply cache for a general revolt where arms and explosives smuggled onto the Temple Mount and stored in the al-Aqsa Mosque and other Islamic buildings spread throughout the Temple Mount. The work such as the attack which took the lives of the two police officers and the other which took the lives of three members of the Salomon family (Yosef Salomon age 70, his daughter Chaya Salomon age 46, and son Elad Salomon age 36) was that of a small group and of limited scope not expected to destroy the nation of Israel. What would be far worse would be a planned assault with grand and devastating objectives. We do not desire placing ideas in anybody’s head, but the Temple Mount had been utilized before to smuggle arms and explosives but fortunately, there has never been an organized use of such smuggling to arm an uprising with the intent of overthrowing the Israeli governance since the Second Intifada. What is unfortunate is another intifada is exactly what we expect unless security measures are returned to the entrances, every entrance, of the Temple Mount. We fear that the murders of the Salomon family and the police officers and the ensuing rioting against increased security, the metal detectors may not have even been foreseen and ended up being an added and obvious alteration around which to rally the Arab protests. Now all surveillance has been removed and that, we believe, was the intent of the riots both in Israel and in Jordan and now the Waqf will likely try to harass the remaining Israeli police forcing them from manning the entrances at least every Friday.

Friday may become the critical day used by the Arabs to smuggle their provisions for whatever they are planning and the world will attempt to force Israel to remain as vulnerable as possible. What will be so devastating is another intifada will very possibly be a final straw and the end of Arab hopes to force Israel to surrender even an inch of land for them to make anything. Friday is the day when the greatest numbers of Muslims attend services around mid-day, hear a riveting and stirring sermon often about supremacy of Islam, the messiah (the Mahdi) will only come when Muslims kill the Jews and often the immediacy for individual Muslims to work to bring the Mahdi as their acts may prove vital to their savior’s arrival. Friday has been the day of the week when offensives are often began which has often been the case in many of the Arab Spring revolts which toppled a number of Arab leaders and started the Syrian multifaceted warfare. It was a Friday when Saudi Arabian forces stood firm preventing an uprising in their nation. It was Friday, March 14, 2011, when those same Saudi Arabian Troops put down the uprising which had started earlier that day after services in Bahrain intending to overthrow the Saudi friendly Monarch. It was Friday, September 29, 2000, on which day the Second Intifada began with rioting on the Temple Mount replete with rocks, rods, bats and other handheld weapons which eventually led to, according to B’Tselem reports, one-thousand-fifty-three Israelis were killed and many reports claim tens of thousands of Israelis being injured with many receiving life-altering injuries. Magnetometers could prevent virtually all weapons from reaching the Temple Mount and cameras could warn of potential gathering of groups which could be a sign of impending troubles allowing for timely intervention. These were logical reactions to a situation which would be intolerable in any other civilized nation and should their leadership take similar measures after the murder of two police officers and three members of a family in their home at their dinner table. Israel, for some reason, taking the same steps which were taken internationally at virtually every international airport after the 9/11 terror strike in New York and Washington D.C. is not permitted the same response as the entire world demanded Israel leave her nation unprotected and vulnerable to terrorism and the murder of their innocents. No, Israel should take the courage and place these devices back where they will do the most good to protect their citizens and tell the world that her citizens, each and every one of them, be they Arab, Jew, Druze, Baha’I, Christian, Muslim or anything else, these individuals are more important than the opinions of every leader of every nation and Israel will serve to protect these precious denizens of Israel and they may as well not bother to say a word and just save their breath.

What Israel should do quietly and through political maneuvering would be to promote Jordan Opposition Coalition and a compromise that will permit King Abdullah II to remain with a nation while the Palestinians in Jordan are permitted to establish what the British denied them by forcing the Hashemite Family over them. Once the true Palestinian Arab State, which was supposed to be the reason for Jordan, has been established, they will be able to give their fellow Arabs the homeland in which to have self-rule. Mudar Zahran, the chairman of the JOC, has promised democracy and a home for all Arabs who wish to come and live in the new Palestine, the name he intends to give his new nation. Israel and President Trump would be wise to assist Mudar Zahran while guaranteeing King Abdullah II that there will be a nation of Jordan where he will remain the monarch, which is better than his uncle did in Iraq, and allow him to separate from a disgruntled majority of his people before there is an Arab Spring style revolt against his rule. This would be the smart route to ending the strife between the Arab populations of two nations and provide peace, even if it will come at the price of the dethroning of Mahmoud Abbas, a President in the twelfth year of his four-year term. Perhaps his retirement is well overdue.

Just Try to Understand the Problem

We admit, perhaps yesterday’s article was a bit over the top to the point of borderline ridiculous. Just Try to Understand the Problem from an Israeli perspective just this once. We promise that once you fully understand how preposterously ridiculous the demands made on Israel are and the history of the actual problem that you will never view the Arab-Israeli conflict the same way again. The first thing one need understand is the Arabs know there is no such thing as a Palestinian and that they are just Arabs from any number of nations. The vast majority are from one of five countries; Egypt has the most followed approximately by Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. There are others from such as Turkey, Yemen, Tunisia, the Sudan and others even further away. But if you take in the Arab World, which consists of all the nations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), then you would pretty much have them covered with the few stragglers from Turkey and the north-central Asian Muslim nations. There are also Christians, and Druze, though they make up a dwindling number as they flee from persecution by the Muslim Arabs. Israel, it must be remembered, has an Arab population making up just over 20% of the total population with the greater majority, 90%, being Muslims with the remaining 10% of the Arabs being Christians.

So just over one-fifth of the Israeli population is Arab and these are the Arabs who took Israel up on remaining here when the Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini, the Arab leader who spent all of World War II working alongside and in conjunction with the leaders of the Nazi Party and even raising two SS Divisions in the Balkans where they hunted down and murdered Jews and Serbs running concentration camps and it is rumored fairly reliably that Amin al-Husseini advised the Nazis at the Wannsee Conference and may have played a not so insignificant part in suggesting and getting the Final Solution to become Nazi policy. The Mufti of Jerusalem was known to protest vehemently against the plan to deport all the Jews to the British Mandate Areas which would have seen nearly ten million Jews sent to the area and saved six million Jewish lives. The Mufti of Jerusalem preferred dead Jews to Jews living in their ancient homeland. But none of this surprised the Zionist leadership or the Jews living in the Holy Lands. Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini was appointed by the British and worked with them to import tens of thousands of Arabs into the Holy Lands such that the Jews would never become the majority. In this way, the British could continue to deny the Jews their homeland claiming they did not constitute a majority and thus could not rule the lands. The Mufti also began pogroms against the Jews with the largest taking place in Hebron which was referred to as the 1929 Hebron Massacre which had a secondary uprising of Arab on Jew violence in Jerusalem. The most interesting thing was that the British authorities and troops stood by watching and when the Arabs appeared about to attack the British, the officer in charge discharged one pistol shot and the Arabs scattered. He could have ended the pogrom at any time with such a show of force but instead allowed it to continue resulting in sixty-seven Jews killed and around sixty were wounded with untold property damage. The cause behind the riot was Amin al-Husseini claiming that the Jews had attacked the Temple Mount and had damaged and were destroying the Dome of the Rock and the Mosques on the Mount. Does any of this sound even remotely familiar?

The chant in the pogroms of the 1920’s was ‘Jews destroying the Muslim shrines on the Temple Mount’ and then the chant driving the pogroms again in the mid and late 1930’s was ‘Jews destroying the Muslim shrines on the Temple Mount,’ particularly the Dome of the Rock. The First Intifada was driven by calls that the Jews were attacking the Temple Mount, though they changed their wording and used Haram esh-Sharif (Arabic: الحرم الشريف‎‎, al-Ḥaram al-Šarīf, “the Noble Sanctuary”, or الحرم القدسي الشريف, al-Ḥaram al-Qudsī al-Šarīf, “the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem”). The Second Intifada was driven by calls that the Jews were about to steal all the Arab lands and murder the Arab women. The logic behind this makes little sense as would not the reality be including the Arab men but in almost all societies the women are the more treasured and in Islam, they have that in spades. Since then the call whenever Abbas has desired stepping up the level of violence has been the Jews are desecrating the al-Aqsa Mosque. Abbas knows what he is doing as they have sold to the news crews that the Dome of the Rock can be substituted for the al-Aqsa Mosque. This permits the media to use a far more stunning and beautiful building in their reports while the truth is the al-Aqsa Mosque is a rather drab building on its exterior while the dome of the Rock has the huge dome covered in gold-filmed tiles making for a stunning picture (see pictures below). With the sun illuminating the dome making it absolutely radiant and claiming the Jews are trying to destroy this building works in Europe and around the world to cast the Jews as the destroyers of artifacts. It does not matter that there is absolutely no truth, it only matters that people want to believe the worst about Jews.

Dome of the Rock is on the Left al-Aqsa Mosque is on the Right One is Nice and Very Eye Catching The Other is Less Eye Catching thus al-Aqsa is Abused as an Armory and Used to Whip Up the Riots against Jews

Today the call to arms is the same with Abbas claiming that the Jews with their “Filthy Feet” to “defile our al-Aqsa Mosque” so “We bless every drop of blood that has been spilled for Allah,” (see video below). These are just some of what Mahmoud Abbas said on a television broadcast on Palestinian Authority television, a broadcast frequency controlled and gifted to the Palestinian Authority along with radio frequencies all of which they naturally refuse to pay their charges for the use of them. They believe that providing these services is amongst the numerous things that Israel owes them just for their existing. Here is the content which will be seen on the video provided by PMW (Palestinian Media Watch), “We bless you, we bless the Murabitin (those carrying out Ribat, religious conflict/war to protect land claimed to be Islamic), we bless every drop of blood that has been spilled for Jerusalem, which is clean and pure blood, blood spilled for Allah, Allah willing. Every Martyr (Shahid) will reach Paradise, and everyone wounded will be rewarded by Allah. The Al-Aqsa [Mosque] is ours, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is ours, and they have no right to defile them with their filthy feet. We will not allow them to, and we will do everything in our power to protect Jerusalem.” Make sure to note that Abbas claims that the Christian Church of the Holy Sepulchre belongs to the Muslims. This is simply standard procedure that any other religion being practiced within Islamic lands are simply poor forms of Islam and the Muslim leaders own their structures and at any time may alter them until they are presentable as Mosques at which point the Christians will be wiped out or converted by the sword, convert or die, and their structures finish their transformation and become actual Mosques. Without any further ado, here is the promised brief video.

The similarity between the Mufti of Jerusalem, Nazi Sympathizer and collaborator Amin al-Husseini and his use of the Temple Mount and Islamic structures to cause Muslims to riot and murder Jews and the use of the same strategy by both Yasser Arafat during the Second Intifada and Mahmoud Abbas who currently calls for defending the al-Aksa Mosque from Jews defiling it with their “filthy feet” and conducting Satanic rituals within the Mosque to incite riots currently, often leading into Jewish holidays, using the exact same wording is just too much to be ignored as this trend of using such lies to rise up hatreds just repeats continuously with the world all but ignoring the ruse and joining Abbas in cursing Israelis, particularly Jews. This is why Mahmoud Abbas started the rioting on the Temple Mount in parallel with Jordanians demanding that Jews be banned from the Temple Mount because their presence is what is causing the rioting. The Jordanians absolutely appear to ignore Mahmoud Abbas and his instigating the riots because the two are working together to close the Temple Mount to Jews. In the past year Abbas has called for Temple Mount rioting starting just before the Ninth of Av, the memorializing the destruction of the First and Second Temples and near uncountable other catastrophes that the holiday remembers but the Holy Temples are the most important element and climbing to visit the Temple Mount on that day is of great magnitudes of importance to many, if not most, Jews, especially those in Israel. These riots continued at varying levels of intensity for over two months so as to include Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur which are also known as the high Holidays. These are another time where many would wish to visit the Temple Mount but the rioting increased a few days before Rosh Hashanah continuing through Yom Kippur with Jordan once again demanding of the Israeli government to work with the Jordanian provided Waqf which makes Islamic ruling decisions over the Temple Mount through the good graces and allowance of Israeli government as a means of proving to the Islamic world that Israel is not hostile to their religious sensitivities. Sukkot is the next Jewish holiday and is one of the traditional Pilgrimage Holidays when the Jews were required to come to Jerusalem for religious observances where the priests, the Cohens and Levites, were required to perform sacrifices and distribute the edibles as divided by instructions from the Torah. This feast might be referred to as a religious Bar-B-Q with Kosher meat and all rules of Kashrut observed by all. Once again, as Sukkot approached, the rioting increased and again Jordan claimed the reason for the rioting was that Jews were allowed on the Temple Mount and demanded that the status quo be maintained.

Here is the dirty little secret, there is no such status quo, status quo simply means that Jews be refused permission to enter the Temple Mount. After the Six Day War Jews, Christians, Muslims and anybody who desired could enter the Temple Mount from any open entrance and walk around freely. That was the original condition and thus would, if anyone was being honest about this including the Israeli government, would be the status quo. As time went and the Arab leaders learned that if they rioted and demanded Jews not be permitted onto the Temple Mount that the Israeli government quickly responded and enforced their desires, then the rioting started to increase. As the rioting would increase, when it was finally allowed to die down there would be demands that the status quo not be altered and the restriction on which entrances Jews were permitted, and later that spread to all non-Muslims, became more and more restrictive until now there is one discreet all but hidden entrance that non-Muslims must use which is accessed through a makeshift bridge which the Israelis have petitioned for permission to repair and been told if it collapsed then the Jews will have to climb the rock face of the wall to reach the entrance. Simply rendered is they will then have finally pushed the status quo to only Muslims are permitted on the Temple Mount and UNESCO will be proven correct, it will have become an Islamic Waqf, an Islamic restricted Muslims only place. This will also affect Christians and any others desiring visiting this holy and ancient site. But that is slowly becoming an impossibility. And there is one person to blame that it started in this direction, General Moshe Dayan who advised that in order to not disturb Jordan and make return of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) to Jordan to make peace the first step would be to permit the Jordanian officials who made up the Waqf to continue as the arbiters and custodians of the temple Mount. With time, they became the enforcers of restrictions and slowly increased their power and now are on the verge of making the Temple Mount into Islamic holy grounds where no non-Muslim may tread.

The real problem here is the timidity within the Israeli leadership, particularly Prime Minister Netanyahu. Often it appears that Prime Minister Netanyahu is more concerned with his remaining the virtual King by keeping the situation precariously balanced such that nobody desires taking the weight of leadership and thus as long as the Likud Party has the sole leader proven to be capable of at least not making things worse, then they will lead. Bibi Netanyahu also tends his personal garden, also known as the Likud Party, planting people who support him high on the list keeping them around him in the Knesset with a couple who appear ready to take the reigns of power should he decide to step down but also who know their power came from Netanyahu so they would never challenge his leadership. Those who would challenge his leadership and are capable of being a real challenge get buried on the listings somewhere past forty or even fifty thus never making the Knesset and soon fading from the scene, as they have no seat of power or position to garner support or media coverage. Then there are the supporting parties. Most honestly have not the ability to challenge Likud and even the strongest of the opposition parties have little chance of defeating Likud as proven in the last Israeli election where the entire reelection team which guided President Obama’s successful reelection campaign were unable to garner even mild support for the Labor Party and those who would have assisted their rule and Likud crushed them with one speech a day or so before the election by Bibi, that is the reality of Israeli politics today. Is there any hope? Oddly, the answer is yes and would require one of three events for such to become reality.

The easiest is for Jewish Home Party’s Naftali Bennett to actually run placing his party and himself as a direct challenge to Netanyahu and make a real go offering real change and a direct plan to solve the Arab situation by decapitating the Palestinian authority, sending Mahmoud Abbas to anywhere which would accept him and holding elections within six months in Judea and Samaria to establish local leaders and a central government which would be overseen by the Israeli government with the Ministers of the Economy, of Defense, of Finance, of Health, of Education, of Justice, of Transportation and of Construction all assigned to assist in the ruling of the Arab areas making sure the financial workings actually went where they would most help the people. The education system would necessarily undergo a massive transformation from incitement to actual education for a future, a productive future. The roads and utilities would undergo a complete refurbishing with new roads and power, water, gas and other utilities extended to all. People would actually be billed and expected to pay for the utilities used and they would be cut-off for nonpayment. The economy would be overhauled and the current monopoly held by Abbas’s two sons, Tareq and Yasser, would be splintered and new ownership would be arranged by choosing the best qualified from amongst the other employees who remained after the removal of the power structure of all of the Palestinian Authority which includes Fatah, PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Islamic State, Muslim Brotherhood, Hezballah, IRGC, and other terror and foreign power’s agents. With such changes, the Arabs would actually have a future and so would their children and within a generation or two things would change so drastically that the idea of destroying Israel would mostly evaporate. But there is always the chance that Naftali Bennett is too comfortable in his position that he does not desire the challenge and responsibility of leadership. This should have the Jewish Home Party seeking new leadership. We have suggested one from amongst their ranks and a popular figure in Ayelet Shaked. When recently interviewed she was asked about just such possibility and her response was that she did see a future where she might seek to be Prime Minister but for now she desires raising her children first and maybe then taking a grasp at the golden ring. We would have only one question for Ms. Shaked, “What kind of Israel do you desire for your children. If it is a prosperous Israel without threats from within as well as without and Europe and world institutions grasping at our throats, then perhaps she might consider serving Israel as an important part of raising her children.”

Currently many of the problems facing the Israeli government are self-inflicted problems. The fact that they were allowed to develop to the point where the national security of the country is at stake and some might even claim that the nation itself is in danger of being turned upon by the world and at least the United Nations and other world institutions and NGO’s. The first step Israel need take is to institute rules whereby any NGO receiving over one third of its funding from outside of Israel, be it from other NGO’s, individuals and especially governments or world institutions such as the European Union and United Nations and its agencies, then it must seek licensing from somewhere other than Israel as they would no longer qualify as Israeli. This would include monies received from the United States even including Jewish foundations, Jewish community service groups or even Synagogues. Such restrictions would make Israeli limits on foreign capital being used in the name of Israel through various NGO’s as is currently the case, perfectly in line with the rest of the nations in the developed world, especially the ones in Europe where they are fighting such laws as they are the number one benefactors of being able to pretend their financed NGO is Israeli despite the bulk of its funds coming from European nations and funds. Another step would be to remove the current money skimming excuse for governance called the Palestinian Authority and send its leaders into exile and informing them that should they return they will face embezzlement charges, money laundering, misappropriation of government funds and a myriad of other charges with the fullest punishment possible being sought with the intent of imprisonment for the remainder of their lives. Let them understand that simply leaving and buying a villa and retiring living the good life would be advisable. Allow the individual towns and cities to elect their own leadership and have everything overseen by an elected Arab governance with Israeli oversight as explained above. And finally granting the Arabs residing in Judea and Samaria resident alien status as almost all have Jordanian passports and identification papers or their parent have such. Let them know that terrorism will not be tolerated and anybody caught and convicted of terror related crimes will be deported immediately after serving their sentenced time in prison. Further, let them know and prove through actions that Israel now considers their areas as part of Israel and services will be improved to meet those anywhere in Israel. The Arabs also must know they will be charged for power, water and other utilities the same as any Israeli and will be treated equally. They also need to know that Israeli laws now apply in all areas. The Jordanian Waqf will be given an ultimatum, either permits their decisions to be overseen by Israel or pack up and return to Jordan but they will no longer refuse equal treatment to all on the Temple Mount and that is a final decision. Lastly, the Arabs will be informed that with time there may come into being a means of gaining Israel citizenship but that all terrorism must end before that can even be considered. Lastly, Jordan will be requested to renew the passports of their former citizens and to issue passports to the children and grandchildren as requested but solely for those Arabs residing in the areas which they once occupied. Make it known that Israel is aware and can easily prove that some of the people and their families who currently reside in Judea and Samaria were forced to relocate and live there as facts on the ground making the area appear Jordanian and that this is a crime against humanity and it really would be messy for such accusations to appear in the World Court of Justice.

With time, many of the citizens who desire may actually become Israeli citizens after going through some schooling on Israeli and Jewish history such that they would understand why this area is so precious to the Jewish People and why Jews are a people as well as a religion and a nation, probably the sole people fitting all three definitions. Also, there will be those Arabs now that they can sell off their land and homes and can move freely who will desire to return to their original country where they have families and fellow tribespeople and where they would feel more comfortable. To these people Israel promises to give them some degree of aid, not enough to make then independently wealthy, but make the move more comfortable but they would also sign a promise of never returning. Israel would ask that the United States, United Nations and European Union and any other groups or nations assist these people in restoring their lives and returning home. Israel will have fulfilled her part. Even those who go seeking brighter shores anywhere in the world that, once they have received all the necessary paperwork and acceptance to immigrate, then Israel would offer them a similar assistance package to make the move easier on them. These packages are not bribes as they are insufficient in size to ever be seen as such, they are to aid the people in relocating. We assist Jews coming to Israel, often far less than they might hope, but the least we can do is assist non-Jews desiring to leave though we invite all to remain and build a bright future in Israel.

We are sure we overlooked much, and this would make a start, but first the world need stop with their mad rush to destroy our little nation. We have returned home and here we are to stay. We have yearned for centuries, millennia for some, to return to Eretz Yisroel and to Yerushalayim and now that we have, we are not moving. Remember, for the largest part, none of you desire having Jews within your borders so leave us alone within our borders. And while we are on borders, the promise was everything west of the Jordan River and short of Gibraltar, well, maybe just the Mediterranean’s edge though the next land mass is Gibraltar. Oddly enough, Israel actually desires to improve the life of the average Arab family residing in Judea and Samaria. To that end, we should remove those who are stealing any chance for a future from their children by refusing to educate them and instead inciting them making them weapons in their futile fight. They seldom sacrifice their own, but freely throw the rest of the people’s children into a caldron of fire, sacrificing them to Ba’al just as was once the way in these lands before the Jews arrived. They would sacrifice their children to a stone effigy as part of religious celebrations serving their leadership. The leaders chose their children for sacrifice from the families which they believed required an attitude adjustment. Then they held the celebration whipping all into a frenzied hysteria much like the instigation from Mahmoud Abbas does with the broadcasts on television and radio which augments the education indoctrination system. The population now consists of mostly those raised with that indoctrination but Israel is willing to attempt to salvage those they can. Retrieving those who have been raised under the throws of Ba’al is never easy. When Joshua entered these lands, he was instructed to kill all the followers of Ba’al as they were beyond being retrieved. Joshua still tried to save those who he thought were retrievable and that is how some explain the problems we face today. The Arabs living under Abbas and his henchmen need saving more than anything else and Israel is willing to give them the required effort. The world need take the first step and permit the removal of the evil within their midst, the Arabists who sacrifice innocents for their personal gain, and that is all that would be required.

History of Jerusalem and Status Quo Incompatible

Of the cities within Israeli Control; Hevron, Jericho, Safed (Tzfat), Shiloh, Bethel and Akko are amongst the oldest. Shiloh and Bethel are most notable as locations for the Tabernacle before it was brought to rest in Jerusalem by King David. Hevron is notable as the first capital city of the Israelite Tribes before King David made Jerusalem the capital city around 1100 BCE to 1200 BCE depending on your source (yes we understand some claim different dates and others claim Kings David and Solomon were myths and the Hebrew Bible belongs next to Aesop’s Fables and the Tales of the Brothers Grimm in the fiction and moral tales aisle, but we tend to ignore such tripe). Safed was considered one of the four holy cities along with the aforementioned Jerusalem and Hebron as well as the later addition of the Roman city of Tiberius. Tiberius was built by the Romans in a location that made it visible from much of the entirety of the Israelites civilization and was built with one simple and overriding purpose, to dazzle, impress and force the will of Rome through visualizing Roman superiority and greatness through the magnificence of the city of Tiberius, and it worked except the Hebrews (Jews) simply included it as one of their own taking away the Roman attributes and simply thanking the Romans for constructing what Hashem demanded of the Romans to do for the Hebrews. This leaves Akko which presents an interesting set of tales. It need be mentioned that Akko is considered to be the oldest city in all of the area which became Israel by quite a number of years. Thus let us compare the two oldest cities and Jerusalem and their respective status-quo.

Jericho is the city which guards the gateway to the Holy Lands. It is centered in the Jordan River Valley and guards the largest of the passes through the Judean hills and as such must be taken if one expects to supply their armies. Oddly enough, battles for Jericho, other than the one time its walls came tumbling down, are rather absent from much of history despite it being taken by many conquerors including at least one Islamic Leader. Once any group is established in the areas of the Holy Land, they are able to use multiple trade routes; it is largely necessary to take Jericho if one is attacking from the east or south as from the south one is more likely to circle around the Negev Desert and attack crossing the Jordan River necessitating taking Jericho. Should any of these invasions succeed, then their conquest is noted crowned by their conquest of Jerusalem, not Jericho. Jerusalem and Akko are the two main gems in the crown of those wishing to conquer the holy lands simply because Jerusalem was the Capital City of Kings David and Solomon which made it the notable city in the entire area. Akko is the oldest city even older than all the aforementioned especially Jerusalem and older than Beersheba, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gaza City and any other as Akko is claimed to be approximately five-thousand-years old. It is worth reviewing Akko, the great port city of its age, as it has a protected port in the small bay guarded by the city as well as a seaward port which can handle deep draft vessels meaning Akko could be a port for any ships or smaller boats for across the sea and local trade with more natural docking berths than even Alexandria, especially deeper draft berths. This made Akko as important as Jerusalem to controlling the Holy Lands.

So let us compare Akko and Jerusalem. Before the Hebrews, the Israelites, the area of Canaan was ruled by city-states of which Akko was one of the oldest and displayed the greatest of walls. The walls of Akko would only be challenged by the walls of Jerusalem herself. The main powers of the early history, almost prehistory, were the Hittites and the Egyptians who basically would fight one another for control over the Holy Lands and even the Sinai Peninsula when Egypt was weakest. These two would mostly fight in the open and whichever side won the day, that would be the greater power which the area city-states would pledge allegiance. On occasion the ruling force might demand additional troops from the cities under their control and whether they were given forces who fought well, they were probably considered the preferred and stronger of the two superpowers fighting to control the region. Akko being located farther north than Jerusalem was often not as likely of being contested and thus remained largely under Hittite rule with only occasional Egyptian rule; this was a more secure and established city with a steady rule while Jerusalem was often under contention, siege, and often would change hands sometimes for days or weeks and at other times for some years. The introduction of the Hebrews, the Israelites, around the year 1525 BCE started their exodus which led to their conquest of the Holy Lands starting roughly sometime in the fourteenth century BCE. Akko already had some history but much of that was Hittite with brief periods under other rulers. There is one individual’s conquests which depict the special difference which Akko held and why for many years during the Crusades remained in Crusader control despite the rest of the area falling to the Muslims. Jerusalem during these times changed hands which led to many individual sweeps which tried to purge the non-believers from Jerusalem. The Crusaders murdered Muslims and the Islamic rulers purged Christians and both sides had one concept in common, both purged Jerusalem of its Jews yet somehow some number of Jews always survived. The conquest of the region by Napoleon was revealing in that he controlled Jerusalem but despite two separate assaults on the walls of Akko, Napoleon was unable to breach the walls and thus Akko never fell to Napoleon. What are we trying to convey? Namely that of all the cities of the Holy Lands, Jerusalem was the most conquered, most divided, and the city with the least amount of a status-quo as the changing of hands led to different rules with each change of rulers. Simply, the status-quo of Jerusalem is about as fluid as any city in all of recorded history and even before.

But the talk now is about the recent status-quo of Jerusalem that we are referencing when we talk about status-quo and mostly about the status-quo of the Old City and the Temple Mount even more particularly. The reason that the Muslims specify the Old City and Temple Mount is because Western Jerusalem has been under Israeli rule and was the Capital City for Israel from May 15, 1948, uninterrupted to this day and thus it actually has a status-quo, Israeli rule under Israeli law with Israel responsible for its security and the Jewish State never lost control of this area resulting from the invasion by much of the Arab world the very first day of Israeli existence with the intent of a genocidal conquest slaughtering every Jew in the lands. At dawn of May 15, 1948, Israel legally was the ruling force of all the lands west of the Jordan River to the eastern border of the Mediterranean Sea. The Arab forces had already infiltrated the easternmost lands by stationing troops and special forces inside most of the Arab cities, towns, and other communities with the intent of breaking any lines of communications, reinforcements and resupply thus weakening the Israeli defenses. These defenses were already in disarray with the many different forces spread between the Haganah, Irgun, Sternists, Palmach, Lehi, Mahal (foreign volunteers such as Colonel David Daniel “Mickey” Marcus played by Kirk Douglas in the movie Cast a Giant Shadow) and various individual forces made up mostly of community guards and volunteers from farmers to refugees straight fresh from the boats from the numerous detainment camps which the British used to keep the vast majority of Jews trying to reach the Holy Lands after World War II. The result of this war left Jerusalem split in half with the eastern half which included the entirety of the Old City and Temple Mount in Jordanian hands and the western parts of Jerusalem in Israeli hands. The Jewish residents of the Old City were forced from their homes by the Jordanians or shot during the fighting simply because they were Jews in Arab controlled areas. This situation led to two completely separate status quos for the divided city of Jerusalem.

The following history of the city of Jerusalem for the nineteen years from May 15, 1948, through June 7, 1967, when Israel liberated the whole remainder of Jerusalem during the Six Day War after Jordan attacked on the second day of the war despite Israeli pleas that they not join the losing efforts of Syria and Egypt. Jordan chose to believe the reports by Syrian and Egyptian broadcasts that they were closing on Tel Aviv and destroying the Israeli forces on every front. The reality was quite the opposite as Israel not only was not losing but had liberated Gaza and taken the Golan Heights and Sinai Peninsula plus had advanced towards Damascus with the Syrian forces being routed just as were the Egyptians. After Jordan joined the war, they were forced from their occupation, illegal occupation, of Judea and Samaria with Israel regaining the lands lost in 1948 during the war against the Arab world intent on destroying the Jewish State. During those nineteen years the eastern parts of Jerusalem, the parts occupied by Jordan, remained remarkably the same with minimal amounts of additional building beyond that necessitated by increases in population. That was a real status quo with almost nothing changed. On the western parts of Jerusalem under Israeli control the city was built up and modernized with an entire new city center and whole entire suburbs with new roads, schools, synagogues, homes, businesses and gained an entire new look. There is a whole new Jerusalem today than there was in 1967, let alone in 1948 or in the year 500 or back in 1100 BCE when King David conquered the city gaining access through the waterway from the spring outside the city to the central cistern from where his small raiding party opened the city gates and his troops poured in before dawn. The question kind of has to be what status quo as Jerusalem has been a city of constant change and change is the enemy of status quo.

We have spoken on the supposed status quo in Jerusalem before which can be found as the first seven links from these search results but let us speak of it once more. What the Palestinian Arabs as well as the Jordanians and much of the United Nations wish for Israel to do when they demand we keep the status quo in Jerusalem is to enforce the occupation rules when Jordan illegally occupied half of Jerusalem. Further, they are demanding that Israel also enforce the Jordanian rules in all of the lands which the Jordanians illegally for the nineteen years between May 15, 1948 and June 7, 1967 which would prevent Jews from even visiting areas of Judea and Samaria, let alone reside there. This would continue to forbid Jews from returning to their actual homes which they still retain the deeds to despite the fact that Israel has liberated those homes. They would forbid the Jews whose homes are in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem from returning to these homes and forbid Israel from restoring the Synagogues destroyed by the Jordanians simply because they could not tolerate a Jewish construction in the area while they controlled it, even illegally occupying the area. This is the status quo the world, or at least much of it, demand of Israel which comes down to one simple concept, they wish to deny Jews equal rights in areas within Israel. That is blatant anti-Semitism and that is not an enforceable or even allowable status quo no matter what anybody wishes to claim. Israel, in theory, has freedom of religion yet those demanding the retaining of the status quo are demanding that Israel suspend freedom of religion and allow only Muslims to pray on the Temple Mount and only Islam be observed. This is true even for the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which would be an interesting question to pose as it is on the Temple Mount, surely they can hold services. Well, the priests inside may pray but they may not hold any public services as that would break the iron law of status quo. There has been a small concession in the status quo, on the days when the Islamic Waqf decides and only on the hours granted, people other than Muslims may visit the Temple Mount but they are not permitted to enter the Mosques nor may anybody offer even a suspected whim of praying. Even a Buddhist or Taoists or Native American would not be permitted to utter a solemn sound as that would destroy the status quo and the purity of Islam. But is this really the actual status quo or a new demand which is not new as the status quo has been a moving line where the rules have changed as the Islamic forces rise in their perception of their power while the Western World appears to be wilting. The truth is fascinating.

Back after the Six Say War and again after the Yom Kippur War when the Islamic forces were thwarted by Israel and handed them a crushing defeat the rules were very different. The Waqf said little if anything and the Temple Mount was open most of the time only closed on Muslim Holy Days and this was at a decision made by the Israelis out of respect. Prayer was not an issue and the Waqf rarely placed watchers on the Temple Mount as there would have been little for them to enforce. Entrance to the Mosques was limited but permission was given for those requesting a tour which was usually guided with the holiest areas off the tour though often visible from an adjoining area. These rules were the status quo for much of the time until the start of the First Intifada in the late 1980’s and the Oslo Accords in September of 1993. Then with each concession by Israel in order to persuade, read bribe, Yasser Arafat and then Mahmoud Abbas, read Yasser Arafat in a suit, the Waqf gained in strength and the status quo slowly but inexorably moved to be more and more strict. This progression would seem to have reached its end but there is still room to allow only Muslims onto the Temple Mount and all others banned from the site even to the point of demanding the priests from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre be removed from their posts and then the turning of the church into yet one more Mosque. Think that might be something they would not do, then you need to look into the history of the Hagia Sophia which was first made into a Mosque after the conquest of Constantinople, where even the name of the city itself was changed to Istanbul, and in recent times has been changed into a museum which depicts both of its histories. Do not hold your breath praying this becomes the status quo for that former greatest cathedral in all Christendom as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been slowly moving Turkey towards becoming an Islamic theocracy aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood; so the Hagia Sophia Museum may be headed for a new future back to being a mosque.

As the status quo of the Temple Mount has been altered with time and feelings of gaining the upper hand and becoming powerful while Israel appears to have weakened in protecting any Jewish rights to the Temple Mount even to not preventing the destruction of countless artifacts from the First and Second Temples which the Waqf had claimed to be installing drainage ditches in order to dig down and destroy every artifact they found and the Israeli Antiquities Authority protested but was overruled by the Waqf claiming their unopposable Islamic right to any action they chose. The reality is that the Waqf only retains any authority for as long as Israel is willing to tolerate their actions. Let me repeat that, for as long as Israel tolerates their actions. Why are they still here and not back in Jordan where they belong? Prime Minister Netanyahu that question is for you. Minister of Justice Ayelet Shaked, why is Israel not applying our authority over the Temple Mount as an integral part of our Capital City of Jerusalem and location of the holiest ground in the Jewish faith? We do not expect any of the myriad of Israeli officers, who have the authority to remove the Waqf from all of Israel and send them back to Jordan which is the nation responsible for choosing these officers, to perform their duty as currently demanded by a majority of the Israeli population. What we would expect is for Israel to finally get sick and tired of the world demanding that we shrink from our rightful claims and legal ownership under International Law through an entire series of treaties and other legal rights granted through the League of Nations and enforceable under the Charter of the United Nations that all the land west of the Jordan River belongs to Israel. We gave away Gaza under what became obviously an on again off again promise which was given by United States President Bush and not enforced by President Obama and overruled by the United Nations with Security Council Resolution 2334 which being under Chapter Six is not enforceable by military action or economic embargo by the United Nations itself and contrary to the United Nations Charter (which actually negates the entirety of Resolution 2334) and apparently will be honored by President Trump. Gaza will remain in the hands of Hamas which will be left to Egypt to either tolerate or retake control over the area as they had before the Six Day War. Israel has obviously taken a mow-the-grass attitude where whenever Hamas decides to attack at a level no longer tolerable by the Israeli public, then they will destroy Hamas and Islamic Jihad from being capable of continuing their destruction and aggressions against Israel. As far as Hamas and their aiding the terrorist forces in the Sinai Peninsula, as that harms Egypt far more than Israel, this problem will be left up to Egypt to address. Should this become the situation harming Israel, they would work with Egypt on resolving who would take the appropriate actions or what combined actions are required. But regarding the areas of Judea and Samaria, Israel has every right to resolve all aspects of the conflict in whatever means Israel might decide is to Israel’s best advantage. The rules which gives Israel dominion over the lands west of the Jordan River places an obligation to provide religious, social, ownership of property, and all rights with the exception of political rights. This allows that Israel treat any and all Arabs residing in Judea and Samaria as legal resident aliens which would allow them everything they currently have except they would not be permitted to vote in elections. Israel would likely allow them to continue self-rule in areas where they are the majority population at the time of the reestablishment of Israeli governance. This could be any date or time even ten minutes from now, the only requirement would be for Prime Minister Netanyahu making an announcement of such a decision, nothing more.

This is another one of those eventualities which will happen, it is simply a matter of when but we would advise not holding one’s breathe. The world will make a huge noise and protest as loudly as they are capable with the United Nations General Assembly passing more resolutions against Israel than usual. Many of the Arabs residing in Judea and Samaria would initially believe that they would be thrown from their homes and lose their businesses fearing the worst and expecting Israel to act as they had acted when they illegally occupied these lands and evicted or murdered every Jew residing within the region. Their reaction would be similar to any Japanese soldier captured by the allies in World War II as they had been told that they should expect to be tortured just as the Japanese did to the allied prisoners they captured. Much to the Japanese surprise they were treated well and with respect and much to the Arab’s surprise the Israelis would grant them more rights while allowing them to continue residing on their land and retaining most of their rights. They already do not vote in Israeli elections and that would remain the same. Israel would likely give them an offer to resettle outside of Israel with an incentive to aid their relocation and payment for the property they currently own as if they had sold it and once they took such a deal they would not be permitted to return with any intent to reside in Israel in the future. But all this is conjecture until Israel gets true, strong and confident Zionist leadership willing to take decisive measures to assure Israeli survival. We await such times and pray it will not require the Messiah in order to reach such finality.
