Mahmoud Abbas Makes Peace Impossible

The world loves to claim that Mahmoud Abbas is Israel’s best prospect for peace. The shocker is that we agree with that statement and claim that this makes peace impossible. What people do not realize is that Mahmoud Abbas is Israel’s savior from its own mistakes. More than once Prime Minister Netanyahu has agreed to make sacrifices for peace which would have very possibly mortally wounded Israel. Had these offers been accepted the Arabs would have been able to fire rockets directly into Tel Aviv using line of sight aiming which would have crippled all economic life and life in general for the majority of Israelis. But Israel has a strange savior because Hashem works in strange and mysterious ways and often with a sense of irony thrown in just for amusement sake. That savior is the man who cannot afford to accept any peace because doing so would cost him everything. That man is Mahmoud Abbas and he knows the minute that he makes peace with Israel and the IDF and Israeli security personnel withdraw from Judea and Samaria that his life would not be insurable with Lloyd’s of London at any price, and they have an odds price on virtually anything. Once Abbas makes a peace with Israel he would be wise to leave before Hamas makes their move as the result will be identical to the fight over Gaza except this time those Hamas does not like will have nowhere to run. Abbas knows his name tops that list and that only the IDF and Israeli security forces stand between Hamas and his neck, thus he will never make peace. Still, he is Israel’s best chance for peace as there is no other and that is the sole reason, and the world knows this as well.

Then why does the world, especially the European Union and the United Nations insist that Israel make sacrifices to bring Mahmoud Abbas to the negotiating table? They do this for two reasons; first because they want to compromise Israel, and second because they know Abbas will never make peace thus they can make Israel destroy itself safely and without getting their hands dirty. Their plan is to shrink Israel piece by piece which is funny as that is also the Arab plan for the destruction of Israel, by stages peace by peace. Prime Minister Netanyahu also knows the truth about Abbas and his delicate predicament and that Abbas is happy with things just the way they are. You need to understand that Mahmoud Abbas has another interest in keeping everything just as they are because the European Union and the United Nations plus certain European nations along with the United States continue sending millions of dollars atop millions of dollars annually from which Abbas and select groups amongst the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership and PLO hierarchy, of which Mahmoud Abbas is the top person in each, are taking their generous share off the top making themselves unbelievably wealthy. Abbas is not about to kill the geese which continue laying golden eggs for him and with whose gold he uses to retain loyalty and stays alive. These are the realities and everybody involved is quite content with the status quo, well, except for Netanyahu and the majority of Israelis, and that brings us to other realities we all know are real and true.

This is where International Law enters the picture and the realities of treaties, conventions, mandates, charters and hard facts come in. What all of these do is paint a picture of another reality which Abbas knows as does everybody else who is playing the music that they are all dancing to. The truth is that all the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea belongs to Israel and will remain Israeli unless Israel signs treaties giving the land away. That is how they stole Gaza and Israel learned a hard lesson there. Israel also knows that should they ever again be forced to fight and gain territory, not to return it but to exercise the law of nations that allows that lands gained in a defensive war may be retained by the aggrieved nation. This lesson was the lesson of southern Lebanon where once Israel returned the lands taken in the war with Hezballah they returned in force and now that area has approximately one-hundred-fifty-thousand rockets and missiles aimed at every target imaginable throughout all of Israel all the way down to Eilat at the southernmost tip of the country. Israel has learned that every inch of land which she allows to be given to her enemies, be it Israeli lands or those gained in defensive struggles, are immediately taken by the terrorist enemies and become a launching pad for future wars and terrorist raids and continuous threat for more death and destruction. Yet this is exactly what the world demands that Israel concedes to, giving lands to those who will immediately utilize it as a staging ground for the eventual destruction of the Jewish State. But fortunately Mahmoud Abbas must refuse any offer no matter how generous as he proved when offered over ninety percent of Judea and Samaria, half of Jerusalem including the Old City and Temple Mount, and lands from within the Green Line equal to the lands retained from Judea and Samaria. This offer was refused twice, one when offered by Ehud Barak in 2000 and again in 2008 offered by Ehud Olmert. Perhaps Israel should be wary of any leader named Ehud in the future, especially Barak and Olmert.

Israel has a world seemingly hungry for her to sacrifice pieces of her ancient homelands and half her Capital City of Jerusalem and much of the historic lands of the Bible. Places that Christian and Jews hold sacred, Biblical Places, such as Bethlehem, Jericho, Hevron, Bethel and numerous others. They would demand that the Temple Mount be made Islamic only grounds where they would picnic and play soccer while Jews and Christians would be denied to come to their precious lands. These are the demands the world makes and then relies on Mahmoud Abbas to refuse any offerings so they can claim they are the ones standing for peace if only Israel would satisfy the Arab demands. We are back to the fact that everybody on all sides are familiar with the Arab demands and that they will only accept the Jews living under Arab rule begging for each day and praying that it not be their last. The Arabs cannot allow Israel to exist because their pride is challenged as the area once was theirs. They have the same problem with the lands of Andalusia, what we recognize today as Spain and Portugal. They also believe that the lands all the way to the gates of Vienna should be returned to them as the Ottomans twice extended their reach to the gates of that city. The Europeans also know that Israel is like the plug in the bottle and without Israel they stand even more vulnerable than they presently find themselves, and that brings us to the final story.

Biblical Israel

Biblical Israel a Historic and Accurate View

Europe and the remainder of the free world and developed world are facing the same threat as Israel, Islamic terrorism. The United States has taken a partial step in preventing further infiltration, though it is currently being debated in the courts, briefly, as the restraints on immigration will stand the test. Europe has been open to infiltration and has reaped their just rewards and the people have begun to stir in a number of nations. The terrorism threat has reared its ugliness throughout much of Europe but media and the current leaders are doing all they can to downplay these incidents. Many Europeans feel betrayed by their leadership which has these leaders worried as facing their public come next elections. Some are proposing an administration which would control the media acting as a Ministry of Truth. Their quoted intention was to prevent “fake news” and to act as fact checkers, but the facts they check could be to further their power or at least try to protect them until after the next elections. The left realizes that they have backed themselves into a corner and the troubles the people have realized is being placed at their doorstep. BREXIT and the election in the United States of Donald Trump as President and a Republican Congress have sent shivers through the entire left-wing political hierarchy which has completely controlled Europe for over a decade. Now they feel threatened and still have not realized why the people are displeased. The next set of elections in Europe might bring about a seismic shift in the political alignment of the continent. The real question is to how long the populations will remain engaged and retain a more measured and conservative leadership in power. The balance is precariously balanced and unless the people remain vigilant then one more round where the left gains control of the Western nations there may be no road back. Should that become the reality then the Tytler Cycle of Power will advance and history teaches us that the cycle will not return to freedom for generations. The next decade or two will be determinative in the future we hand our children and their children for too many generations to be contemplated.

The Hard Left and the New Anti-Israel Filter

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanction Israel Movement (BDS) is the core principle which the new hard left groups demand everyone support or they cannot support any of the other hard leftist movements. Think you believe in racial equality and support those who are fighting against perceived mistreatment of Blacks by the police, justice system and all of life and politics and desire to join the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, well, what are your views on Israel. Support Palestinian Arabs as people of color and actively support BDS or you will be found to be unacceptable to the BLM leadership and their constituents. If you are Jewish you will almost constantly be suspect and will have to be more anti-Israel than anyone else to the point that you will need to become obsessively anti-Israel and super active pro-Palestinian Arab. You will need to find out if any of your friends or members of your synagogue support Israel and avoid them to the point of rudeness. Yes, we agree, the two should have nothing to do with each other but still hating Israel and everything about Israel and those who are lost to supporting the genocidal Israeli policies or obviously you cannot be a true supporter of the BLM groups. Support for Israel automatically makes you unacceptable to support BLM because they demand you hate Israel and support the BDS movement. But wait, there’s more.

What if you believe you support women’s rights and equal pay for equal work and decide you want to be a supporter and join National Women’s Studies Association (NWSA)? Again it will come down to your support for BDS and being anti-Zionist to the point of being anti-Israel. Of course the NWSA does not demand you hate Israel, just Zionism. Of course as one cannot tell which Israeli products are from the “West Bank” (Judea and Samaria) or whether anything used in their production came from there so to be safe just boycott all Israeli products to be safe. What does supporting BDS have to do with women’s rights and smashing the glass ceiling and making equal pay for equal work the law? Everything, obviously as how can you be sensitive to women’s rights while not being equally sensitive to the Palestinian Arabs plight?

The same question can be asked about BLM demands that one support BDS and stand against Israel politically. The same goes for an endless number of other leftist causes, especially the most adamant activists. It is the leftist law that if one is in for one cause, they are then in for all causes. This all for one mentality forces on all the acceptance of many presumed facts. The Palestinians are also being suppressed by Israel which can be proven through simple facts. The Palestinians have not had an election in years and are not allowed to vote in Israeli elections. Never mind they are ruled by the Palestinian Authority in Areas A and B in Judea and Samaria and that Gaza is ruled by Hamas and Israel pulled every Jew, Israeli, and IDF troops completely out of Gaza in August of 2005 in a gut wrenching and societal upheaval where over half the country was either up in arms against, crying in sympathy and generally supporting the people of Gush Katif and the other communities torn apart and having their lives completely dumped on its head. Some of these people remain as refugees all but ignored by their government who promised at the time to make things right, they most certainly did not and many of these communities found themselves fighting alone to put a life of any measure together. Many took over five years for the government recompensing them for their losses, but how do you put a price on life of an entire community. They lost their synagogue and were scattered with lives shattered. But you are a leftist, these Zionists have no relevance to your causes but supporting BDS is the right thing to do, everybody you protest with agrees that supporting BDS, the Palestinians and the Arab cause against Israel is just.

Why should the Jews have their own nation? It’s not like the Jews are like the Japanese, Chinese, French, Russians, Germans, Italians, Iranians, Syrians, who definitely deserve a new nation probably somewhere in Europe; the Jews are different and simply live in all kinds of nations and that has worked, right? Well, there was that problem during World War II, but that cannot happen again, the Jews are accepted now. Yes, there is some anti-Semitism but that’s not our problem, is it, after all we like Jews; it is the Israelis who are the problem.

Yes, that is it, you know there is a difference as you are not against Israel; you are just against Jews living in Israel and ruling over Arabs. Instead Israel should become an Arab state with Arabs leading it and of course the Jews can remain once they permit the five million, or is it eight million, hard to tell as the numbers change regularly, but allow these millions of Arab Muslims to settle where their homes used to be or wherever they claim their homes used to be. Even if some of the new Syrian refugees might remember their long lost relatives who lived in Israel and that should qualify you to also move to Israel. Why go all the way to Germany when you can simply cross the Golan Heights and settle in Israel, the United Nations will vote to allow that in the General Assembly and the world will send forces to assist even without a Security Council Chapter Seven motion though if the world acts while President Obama is still in the White House it is possible that the United States will support this solution for the Syrian refugee problem so neatly.

The Jews will be safe with the Arabs ruling Israel as Israel is a democratic nation with freedom of religion. That will keep them safe. That is one of the Basic Laws which serve like the Israeli constitution, and constitutions are permanent. Well, yes, technically any Basic Law can be repealed by a simple majority vote of the Knesset. The Arab would never repeal such a basic and fundamental law, would they? And anyway, even if the Arabs changed the laws, the Jews could return to the nations in Europe and the United States where they came from. What is that? Half the Jews in Israel came from nations in the Middle East and North Africa when the laws made remaining impossible and in some cases were thrown from their homes with everything they owned stolen leaving them one or two suitcases per person. Well, they could all move to the United States and live somewhere where there are many Jews already, like New York or Boston.

These are becoming fundamental tenets of the hard left and are spreading to take control over the left completely. Take the Democrat Convention of 2012 where they voted down placing recognition of Jerusalem as the Capital City of Israel and the fundamental belief in G0d as part of America when this was brought to a vote on the floor of the convention (see video below). Further evidence came from the recent Democrat Convention which we covered with words, pictures and video here. The Left party in Britain, their Labor Party just had an investigation into sweeping anti-Semitism spreading through their ranks and within their ruling elites including Jeremy Corbyn, their leader as well as the Leader of the Opposition in the British Parliament. But British anti-Semitism is not new as this anti-Semitic cartoon from the 1233 Norwich tax record (see below). Study guide for the picture with explanation can be researched here.

The anti-Semitism in France has reached levels where many Jews no longer feeling safe moved to the United States if they had relatives and to Israel. Anti-Semitism in Europe is growing at a pace even faster than the arrival of Arab refugees who bring their own anti-Semitism with them. It is proffered that the increase in anti-Semitism in Europe which has sufficient evidentiary proof which displays that it far outstrips the numbers of the new arrivals is likely due to the feeling that it is acceptable and even becoming welcome and acceptable and is heavily aligned with the progressive left. Such as this is why Israel is so vital as not so slowly but definitely and definitively and inexorably anti-Semitism is growing on the political left joining the radical extreme right where historic anti-Semitism was always claimed to be the unwelcome part of such political extremists, but the leftist anti-Semitism is spreading from the hard left progressivism into the mainstream liberal progressive left. Acceptable organizations including groups among those supporting racial equality such as BLM, women’s right such as NWSA and other left progressive groups in other causes favor and even demand that their members also support the BDS movement or at least boycott certain or all Israeli goods. Rejection of Israeli academics has swept across many campuses in Europe, the United States and other higher education institutes around the globe. Unions have lined up in active support of BDS.

The near universal and still growing support from the progressive forces and the Democrat Party as well as the animosity against Israel are troubling and it appears it is only a matter of time before the anti-Israel and pro-BDS support begins to morph into anti-Semitism. Initially the anti-Semitism will be against the obvious religious Jews which is actually weird as it is amongst these very groups where there are Jews who do not support Israel for religious reasons believing that the return to Israel, the Promised Land, will only come as a blessing from Hashem when the Messiah comes and leads the incoming as part of the initiation of a perfect world. They view Zionism as being against the will of Hashem and thus sinful. Still, they will be the first ones to feel the anti-Semitism as it becomes part of the mainstream. Then the next groups will be the religious Jews and then relatives of Israeli Jews and religious Jews. Eventually it will spread to be all Jews and even those Jews who have sworn off and left their religion will not be safe before the rising anti-Semitism is finished. The levels of anti-Semitism in Europe are rising, already permeate the Middle East and North Africa, are growing in many parts of Asia, have risen again in Russia and the Ukraine and are starting to grow in the United States.

What is most disturbing is the raising level of anti-Semitism is greatest on college and university campuses with regular anti-Israel demonstrations, the shouting down to physically attacking any pro-Israel speakers or even Jewish speakers in some instances. This fact makes the future highly doubtful and potentially unsafe for Jews throughout the Western World. Should these apparent threats come to fruition the existence of Israel will become a holy saving grace for the Jews of the world. What is equally if not more frightening is the potential for the United Nations Security Council revoking the resolutions which established the nation of Israel, evicting Israel from the United Nations and then passing a resolution calling for the military forces of the world to finish the destruction of Israel as an illegal entity and ridding the world of Israel. Should that come to pass, how much longer after such would the world then turn to rid itself of all Jews as a measure to assure that the world never establish a Jewish state in the future. The possible spread of anti-Israel accompanied by its close relative, anti-Semitism, takes hold throughout the governments of the world; what nations would refuse to comply with such bigotry?

The one we would predict would be a nation familiar with being the sacrificial lamb of the greater powers of their day, the Czech Republic, one of the two nations formed from Czechoslovakia which supported Israel in 1948 when most of the world placed an arms embargo against the nascent state of Israel fighting for her survival from day one of her existence. The British and the United States both embargoed Israel contrary to the mistaken ideas that both were allies and friends of Israel from the start, not so. Still, if it became Israel and the Czech Republic and maybe another fifteen smaller nations were to face the major powers for their allied survival, the outcome might surprise the world and that would prove a single truth, Hashem does care and still rules the Earth far more than those elites rule, much to their dismay, we are sure. We pray it never comes to that but the levels of anti-Semitism resulting in almost every Jew returning to Israel, their real home, that may very well be on its way and the end result will benefit the world if only it will allow Israel to fulfill her true mission, to be a light unto the nations and shine a light on Hashem and his truths.

When Lunacy Rules and Lunatics Follow

If one really wishes to get into the minutia and every particular of the latest lunacy, one can read the entire PDF document Security First which gives the entirety of a plan for a new partial surrender of land for peace. Then going further with a series of sources there is the entire media blitz from a group calling themselves “Commanders for Israel’s Security”. No matter how they tell their story or whatever blitz and glitz they add to polish it and make it sparkle and dazzle, their plan is another retreat without requiring the Arab side to make any concessions or even to recognize Israel’s right to exist as the homeland for the Jewish people. There is this impatience which infects groups time after time as they break down under the threats and demands from Europeans and other international sources, in this case including Saudi Arabia represented as a neutral source in this discussion, to make something happen where the world can see that there is some action in the movement towards peace. The problem is that every time these pressures force an action, it is always some group of Israelis who insist that if only Israel shows her good faith then the Arabs will reciprocate. There is only one small flaw in their reasoning, the Arab side has never ever reciprocated and instead has promised that with the assistance of world pressure they will step by step destruct Israel until it is shrunk to the point they can destroy it in a single attack.

There were the demands from the United Nations, the Europeans and America as well as Mothers of the IDF who said we needed to pull back from the security zone in southern Lebanon and trust United Nations peacekeepers and the promises of the Lebanese government. Israel bent largely due to the vigils and media pressure from Mothers of the IDF more than the world pressure and Prime Minister Ehud Barak with assurances from the Generals of the day, today’s retired generals, retreated back south of the Blue Line, the United Nations and internationally recognized border between Israel and Lebanon. United Nations inspectors came and blessed the retreat as being all proper and recognized as being complete. The area which was vacated by Israel did not become a place where the Lebanese army and United Nations peacekeepers took control and guaranteed Israeli border security. Instead Hezballah took complete control of the areas south of the Litany River to the Israeli border. The United Nations peacekeepers remained in their posts and never patrolled or made any move without first checking with the Hezballah forces. The claim was they could not find any Hezballah forces. Perhaps they should have checked the other side of the building the two shared on the Israeli border (see below). Then the inevitable happened and the cost was worse than any low level violence in the safety buffer zone which Israel had surrendered to Hezballah in their voluntary retreat to the Blue Line to satisfy world and Israeli defeatist pressures.

United Nations Hezballah Share Border Building

United Nations Hezballah Share Border Building

The inevitable started on July 12, 2006 as Hezballah fired diversionary rockets into Israel targeting a small community across the border which masked their ambush of an Israeli patrol. Israel forces had fallen into the worst possible of situations where they performed their patrols on a schedule almost like clockwork. This allowed for Hezballah to time their rocket attack to coincide with a cross border raid. Hezballah initiated the raid by firing anti-tank missiles at a Humvee patrol resulting in three soldiers dead and two Israeli soldiers were abducted. Hezbollah demanded the release of Lebanese prisoners held by Israel in exchange for the release of the abducted soldiers to which Israel refused and responded with airstrikes and artillery fire on targets in Lebanon. Hezballah responded with rocket fire into northern Israel launching from bunkers and residential homes. Israeli return fire struck both the Hezballah bunkers and the homes and other public buildings used by Hezballah. Hezballah had learned from Hamas and the Arab Palestinians to fire from civilian structures and then place the resulting damage when Israel returned fire on rocket launch positions hitting civilian structures from which the rockets had been fired. Israel eventually made an ill planned hasty assault into Lebanon with infantry and tanks and paid a heavy price for their lack of preplanning and preparations. Israeli losses included five tanks destroyed, numerous helicopters destroyed, one naval ship heavily damaged, one-hundred-twenty-one IDF soldiers killed and one-thousand-forty-four injured as well as forty-four civilian deaths and one-thousand-eighty-four civilians injured. Casualties on the Lebanese and Hezballah side included an estimated five-hundred Hezballah fighters killed and Amnesty International numbers of civilian casualties showed approximately one-thousand dead and estimated four-thousand-five-hundred injured. As with every war between Israel and a terror enemy, they set their launching sites and combat strong points located in the presence of civilians and civilian structures in order to maximize civilian damages and casualties and then petition the world media to condemn the horrific civilian toll resulting from the Israeli efforts taking absolutely no blame on themselves and gaining media sympathy worldwide.

The situation today is potentially even worse as, thanks to Iran providing rockets and missiles via Damascus, Hezballah now has an estimated one-hundred-thousand to one-quarter of a million rockets and missiles pointed at Israel with at least one third having sufficient range to reach anywhere in Israel. Hezballah leader Nasrallah has sworn in repeated broadcasts that in the next war with Israel he promises to destroy Tel Aviv and kill untold thousands of Israelis leaving the entire nations in ruins. The deafening silence from the world over his repeated threats to launch complete and utter destruction on Israel is not that astounding as condemnations must at worst be leveled against Israel in equal or greater proportion to those leveled at her enemies. The next war, may such never come to pass, may result in heavy damage in Israel but the damage which will necessarily be leveled on Lebanon just in efforts to destroy as many missile and rocket launchers to prevent a devastating number of Israeli casualties will be utterly horrific. Neither side will win the next conflict while any success will be in avoidance of destructions and minimizing casualties. Israelis will once again need to stock their shelters at the first sign of increased agitations and threatened hostilities as they may be spending an extended amount of time sitting in these very shelters. There are numerous reasons that Israel requires shelters for every tenant in any new structures with each unit having a hardened room for protection. May these reinforced rooms never need to be used.

Then there was a second lesson where in August of 2005 Israel removed thousands of Israelis from Gaza and removed all IDF forces turning everything over to Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority. Within two years in 2007 the Palestinian Authority lost Gaza to Hamas offering minimal resistance during a week of hostilities. Since then Hamas has forced a war every two to three years with ever increasing rockets being fired from civilian areas rather than using the farm lands which surround the crowded city areas. This is done to increase the damage caused to the residents of Gaza. What is the saddest is that Hamas leaders never fire the rockets from the wealthier areas of Gaza and always from near apartment buildings. For the record, most Hamas members live in these wealthier areas of Gaza (see examples below). The resort hotels, main business districts, wealthiest neighborhoods, luxury mall, best restaurants and homes of the rich and famous are saved from being used as rocket launching sites. The destroyed areas you see all the time are from a somewhat limited area of Gaza City in the poorest neighborhoods mostly bordering as well as inside the Gaza City refugee camp which is run by UNRWA and whose residents are seldom permitted beyond the camp boundaries. Think back to the riots in Los Angeles, Ferguson, and Baltimore and there were great amounts of damage and devastation almost all within the central black and poorer neighborhoods but where the politicians live and the wealthy and the main business sections of town were untouched. The same is true in all of the Gaza Strip, the poorest suffer and the wealthy continue to enjoy life.

Now the next brilliant idea is to surrender everything east of the security fence/wall/barrier removing any Israelis residing in these areas such as settlements like Itamar, Hevron, and a total of approximately forty-percent of settlements even including some areas which would be quite surprising as the security barrier runs far closer to the Green Line than the shrill arguments would lead one to believe. The retired Generals and other Security Chiefs with so much experience by their own admissions, have shown that this time it would be different as we could take our time and deconstruct the areas we would eventually be surrendering and the IDF would remain in the entirety of the areas in which they currently are operating until such time as an adequate security arrangement and force could be implemented. So, Israelis would leisurely be removed because immediately after Israel adopts this suicide pact there would be screaming from all corners of the globe, well, Europe and Turtle Bay (United Nations) along with the United States State Department and President Obama for the Jews to be out of those now admitted illegal outposts. So we would see Gaza redux as far as our withdrawal but the IDF would remain just like they remained in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. What exactly do these men of great and brilliant minds see happening when, like Lebanon, we start losing three or four soldiers a week to snipers and that occasional squad of ten to twelve in a single ambush. We would have the Mothers of the IDF and headlines every time a single soldier got a hangnail telling of the anguish and pain. Peace Now, B’Tselem, and Breaking the Silence would have a bevy of soldiers interviewed all terrified of the horrific conditions and rules of engagement (there might be support against the Rules of Engagement ROE from us claiming it was too restrictive) which would be shown three times each newscasts and lead every hour on IDF Radio. How long would it be before the world pressures us that the Palestinian Authority Security Force was ready, willing and able to assume control from the IDF leading to another Hamas coup just like in Gaza or worse, Islamic State moving in on the Palestinian Authority forces? I would generously give it three to four months, with a six week deadline, for the start of the pull-out-now demonstrations to begin abroad and at home. So, we would have a mixture of the failed policies of Lebanon and Gaza mixed in a dangerous concoction called land for peace. Imagine the potential disasters of almost pulling out of Judea and Samaria without a single concessionary peep out of Mahmoud Abbas and likely his greatest encouragement and praise for such a great day it was for peace. That alone should scare the life out of everyone. This plan actually has received the Saudi seal of approval as being sufficiently close to their Saudi Plan, the Arab Plan, which was labelled as suicidal not all that long ago. But then we have always realized that our fortitude was left wanting and we were always overly optimistic about reaching an honorable peace. Somehow a unilateral surrender of large swaths of lands to our sworn terrorist enemies cannot be allowed to become our definition of taking the first move for peace. Thus far we have taken approaching a dozen first moves for peace without ever receiving anything other than a demand for more and faster with the current retreat.

This plan, wrapped in such a long winded and gorgeous package, with pretty and dazzling colors and backers from the most respected of all left-wing, post-Zionist lunatics Israel has been capable of gathering, when stripped bare, it is the surrender of Judea and Samaria in Toto to the Arab Palestinian Authority for the brief moment until something worse comes along, just like Gaza. What government institution dropped the ball and gave these former generals and security chiefs the right to attempt an end around on the elected government. This entire idea is reminiscent of the Oslo Accords which were hammered out under the cloak of darkness and secrecy from even the members of the Knesset and anybody who might have raised the alarm against the Oslo Accords. Instead of a reasoned debate the fateful signing of the Oslo Accords was a done deal before any deliberations could have been entertained. This “Security First” publication and proposal has all the earmarks of a secret treaty carried out behind the backs of the elected coalition members and is being given its inaugural rollout with the appearance of a done deal where the signatures are as if on a binding treaty and one has to wonder is there a signature from the other side hidden to be revealed in a week or two as the government is blindsided by an international agreement to which this self-appointed shadow government has already promised full Israeli support and readiness to comply with the withdrawal post-haste. The governing coalition must present this “Security First” document into the Knesset for a very public and full blown consideration before being summarily discarded as the piece of trash it really is. There is no ignominy which the authors of this plan could be subjected to that would be beyond their deserved treatment. Further, if the government cannot tear up this faux-treaty, then the coalition need be dismissed and the core uniting plank in the next coalition must be formed around the complete and unabashed rejection of every morsel of this poisonous concoction. These retired generals, commanders and security chiefs have attempted to shackle Israel with making her near impossible to live with the high ground just east of Ben Gurion International Airport and a full seventy percent plus of Israeli public, production, power generation, industrial heartlands and other forms of economic and social centers as well as the beating heart of Israel, Jerusalem, all under fire from Arab rockets and other projectiles including mortar, artillery and sniper fire, as from some of the surrendered high ground one can view the Mediterranean and everything between the heights and the beaches in question.

The claims that the world will look at Israel differently, that the world will support us retaking the area when everything fails, that the world has our backs are all lies. The world will look at us differently as they will know Israel cannot exist in such a state as every international carrier will cancel all contracts with Ben Gurion International Airport which will have fallen silent except for the El Al counter and concourse. The world would far sooner every Israeli be driven into the sea than allow us to take the high ground from our murderous tormentors and only have our backs in order to sink their knives up to their hilts applying the final coup de grace such that they can take credit for finishing the Final Solution and make the world safe from the violence of jihad as the only reason for jihad, Israel, has been eliminated. That is an utterly false concept but it is no different than the “Security First” concept for Israeli final surrender before the world, the very world which will care for our plight and provide the necessary support when our needs become dire. When Mahmoud Abbas gets wind of this proposal, he will publically refute it as not being sufficient as it does not address the right of return or the complete withdrawal from all of Palestine which must be free from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

What will be the final result should this deal become fact? First is all commerce within Israel will cease for all intents and purposes; Israel’s busiest airport will fall silent; Israel will become a ghost town as those who had not previously fled would now go underground and pray to be rescued before it would become too late. Finally, the words and arguments will have resulted in stripping Israel back to the borders she had up to the Six Day War. With Israel stripped bare of the added depth which has become so vital against rockets where line of sight allows for easier corrections and more ease in choosing said targets. Even the Dimona complex will now be vulnerable as will the trains should they venture into open ground as they must to be useful. Jerusalem will be the first to feel the pinch as she will have become cut off from the body of Israel and will likely face strangulation as the Arabs will be overlooking both rail and road access to Israel’s historic and spiritual heart. After Jerusalem falls and her Jews are taken hostage, what will be left for Israel to do to resist the next assault? The Prime Minister, President and the majority of the Knesset will have fallen with only the crafters of the horror unfolding will be permitted escape back to the body of Israel. Here these weasels we call generals and intelligence chiefs will be the ones the people will now turn. Irony of ironies that those who made the entire scenario possible will be the ones asked to lead in our darkest hour. Israel has chosen to follow leaders whose errors almost destroyed her people but these leaders will get every Jew murdered through their perfidy and once Israel is to fall this time, it will be her last fall. It is that this cannot be allowed to happen which gives us the hope that sufficient Israelis are awake and know that land for peace is simply playing Russian roulette and we have already played that game too long. Time to leave the party and try a new land for peace, the one where we keep the land and that brings us eventual peace. Oh, and the Arab terror leadership, their schools and everything used to try and destroy us is part of cleansing Israel from the poisoners surrounding her. First, let us clean our house of vipers and snakes lying in the tall grasses who have tried repeatedly to claim surrender is victory and weakness is strength all while claiming with peace the land is not necessary. Instead we need but follow the commandments in Torah and settle all the Promised Lands and peace, strength and vigor will return and other greater miracles will ensue. First we do our assigned part and then the rest simply becomes the unavoidable future which prophesy told us in Psalm and Proverb. The answers have been right there for all to find and follow and the time to choose is rapidly to be upon us. These generals and security officials are the false prophets as we have seen the fruit of their counsel and troubles and misery has been the result. It is time to choose new counsel and to follow new paths to a fruitful future. It is time to follow a book which had proven the one true path to freedom, justice and most precious peace.
