There has been near constant accusations and bloviating all about Donald Trump’s presumed short fuse. These attacks have come furious and provokingly and these are being used as chum in the water for the mainstream media to feast on; and believe us they have been coordinating and laying aside above the fold for every leading news-story; or should we say political editorial. These salacious assaults on Donald Trump would be far more convincing and less conniving if they were to include even a hint on Hillary Clinton’s short fuse and ill-tempered side which were a driving force behind much of what has displayed her being ill-fit to be the President of the most powerful nation on the planet. When Donald Trump has an emotional outburst, his response is verbal and short-lived. Hillary Clinton is known to carry forth for the remainder of life, hers or her newly acquired target. When Bill Clinton lost his reelection election she famously called the Christian Campaign Manager a “F—-g Jew B——d.” She became the wounded warrior and claimed that a “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy” was behind the accusations of sexual misconduct of her husband. Beyond that, Hillary took charge of the intimidation, belittling, slandering, character assassination, media control, story massaging and sundry miscellaneous attacks targeting any and all allegations and accusations against Bill Clinton thus assuring that no more women, or bimbos as the White House labeled those coming forward, would be coming up with any additional accusations or verifications against the President. This was a well-coordinated assault just as well planned and executed as was the campaign to get out the vote except this was a suppress the evidence effort.

If this was the extent of Hillary Clinton perfidy, there would be little evidence of her unsuitability for the office of President of the United States. Hillary claims how she has always been so transparent in all her actions that the public can trust that all her actions will be entirely open and able to be monitored by all who are interested. Apparently Hillary Clinton has completely forgotten her efforts at designing her own version of a healthcare system. Her committee contained some of the best minds in the progressive movement plus the fly in the ointment, Hillary Clinton. The public was left in the dark. Congress was left in the dark. The media, including the leftist media, was left guessing, being fed tempting morsels but actually only gristle and no red meat. The universe was led on the merry path of flowers and unicorns with all the wonderful reports of total free coverage with almost no additional costs. Perhaps the promises of everything for nothing proved to be the straw that broke the healthcare back. When Hillary Clinton and companies’ plan was presented to Congress, even the democrat faithful headed for the hills escaping as fast as they could. Her produced healthcare plan was such a monstrous and unwieldly conglomeration of regulations, legal demands, meticulous record keeping and required filings with the Federal Government that all who read the plan were flabbergasted. Commentary from numerous sources inside and outside, but close to the manners in which the plan was hatched, told of Hillary Clinton riding roughshod over all contrary opinions doing exactly as she thought best. This kind of leadership, totalitarian leadership, had actually driven a number of leading surgeons and physicians from participating or even signing the plan sent to Congress. They told of fiery outbreaks replete with profanity at some of the mildest of suggestions or alternative proposals where Hillary Clinton appeared to have lost all sense of reason.
Finally, there were numerous reports and even complaints filed against Hillary Clinton for abusive language, abusive treatment, violent outbursts and some workers fearing for their safety. These complaints and requests for transfer or alternate position from people who had nearly a lifetime of service climbing to reach a White House assignment and to then risk never making it back to their former privileged position was an acceptable sacrifice to be rid of Hillary Clinton. All of these point to Hillary Clinton not only having an explosive temper but also a short fuse with a vengefully long memory. Such was a temperament of throwing items, oft of value, for periods as long lasting as an entire day and even lasting through the next day or beyond as well. Some who have been found to get on the wrong side of Hillary Clinton have related that despite attempts to settle their differences or even apologize have failed dashed on the craggy cliffs which make up the beach at shoreline Clinton. Hillary Clinton has proven herself to be a person with a malleable core where beliefs come to die especially after receiving poor poll ratings. Taking the sum of these parts produces a picture of an unbalanced individual whose coworkers fear working anywhere near her spheres of influence.
Many have spoken similarly of Donald Trump, but from most appearances his tantrums have been largely bluster with little threat of physical violence, at least before the October Surprise of crass claims of sexual violence. Given the claims of violent actions, we would feel safer with a Donald Trump Presidency than a Hillary Clinton Presidency. Unfortunately, elections remain out by three weeks and it is still anybody’s election to win or lose. Donald Trump will be facing sexual harassment charges most of which are likely people coming forth for their moment of fame. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, is facing a truly deep character fault which will have a direct effect on her Presidency. As to which one is most likely to get the United States embroiled into a war, it would be Hillary Clinton with her establishment of a “No Fly Zone” probably on Aleppo could escalate with the downing of a Russian fighter jet leading to a direct confrontation. That is but a single potential point of contention where a single miscalculation could lead to great problems soon thereafter. That alone is food for thought.
When one researches the various campaigns against Israel, violent attacks against Israelis, political assaults on Israel, hearings over offensive acts by Israel, and court filings of wrong-doings by Israel are sufficient in quantity that it certainly feels like it is not just Earth, our solar system, the Milky Way are against Israel but actually as if the entire universe, the entirety of the results from the Big Bang (represented below because we like this picture) lining up against Israel such that almost nothing takes the side of Israel except the One that counts for more than everything else, Hashem who works in mysterious and unknown ways which sometimes can be frustrating for Israel and Israelis. One article is completely beyond our ability to research in under a decade and more than anybody would care to read through on their lunch break or wherever our friends read BTC. So we will look at some of the reactions from around the planet concerning the current Third Intifada and the near constant violence being perpetrated against innocent civilians mostly with the few rare attacks on police, IDF and Border Police. The reactions from around the world have been nothing if not a preposterous exercise in blaming the victims and demands on victims to be more passive in their own defenses. Perhaps some examples from the recent past are in order.

One of the most insidious of attacks has come from a tag team effort with the Arab Palestinian Authority with their facilitators at UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization). It was not enough for UNESCO to recognize a state of Palestine granting it statehood despite being unable to define the boundaries and against the very charter which defines what is necessary for UNESCO to recognize a state, but they did not wish to be left out of the rush last year’s race by NGOs and other organizations to recognize a state of Palestine in whatever borders it eventually will be defined with, what a deal. They honestly recognized an amorphous entity with no defines or permanent border or even to have a singular defined government over both the areas under the PA and the only place which is defined with a border is Gaza ruled by Hamas, so which one did UNESCO recognize? This year the PA was backed by the six Arab members; Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, which initially attempted to include the entirety of the Old City of Jerusalem including so specifically that it was actually stated, the Western Wall and the Kotel Plaza which the PA claimed Israel was working to destroy the wall in order to assault the Temple Mount and destroy the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. At least this demand was turned down by UNESCO with their Director-General Irina Bokova who berated the PA representatives directing them to remove this preposterous claim of the Western Wall and Kotel to be a Muslim Holy Site as absurd. Still, UNESCO did decide in a vote of twenty-six in favor, six voted against, and twenty-five abstentions where United States, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Estonia being the only nations resisting this Islamic assault on Jewish historic and ancient holy sites which predate Islam by not just a mere few centuries but by a thousand years plus, but why should a millennium plus stand in the way of allowing another usurping of other religious holy sites by the usurpers and destroyers of all things holy to other religions and especially those far more ancient than Islam itself. We all remember the Taliban and the desecrations and destruction of the Buddhas of Bamiyan (pictured below).

This is not the first time around the mulberry bush and making inventive and preposterous claims permitted by UNESCO for the PA as they have made such decisions before. As we see in this video below, where Mahmoud Abbas made the claim that not only was the al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount an Islamic holy site but that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is also an Islamic holy site, and the PA has already made requests with the backing from Jordan to make the Church of the Nativity also as an Islamic holy site under their management and protection. Islam has had a history of conversions of other religious holy sites and making them instead Islamic holy sites with the most famous the defiling of the Hagia Sophia being converted into a Mosque after the fall of Constantinople (pictured below). This will become a standard practice across Europe as churches and especially cathedrals are sold to Islamic groups who will convert them into mosques.

But UNESCO was not the only United Nations sanctioned action taken concerning Israel this past week. Showing great consternation and sympathy for the victims of the violence which has shaken Israel for the past few months and continuing to escalate each week worse than the previous to the point that each day is not measurably worse than the previous day and soon it may be said of each hour as Hamas has called for their operatives and forces in Judea and Samaria and anywhere else there are those who support their struggle against the Jew to strike the Jew and conduct suicidal homicide bombings across all of Israel and into the settlements and Hamas also challenged the forces from Fatah and the PA to also take up this challenge. On a mission to curb the escalating violence, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon made a surprise visit to discuss the situation with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, and also spoke with opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog who echoed much of the message of the Prime Minister, then visited PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and after discussed the situation and possible ways to disarm the situation before it spiraled out of control. Before continuing further on Ban Ki-moon’s surprise visit, allow us to congratulate his denunciation of the PA violence and desecration committed against Joseph’s Tomb last Friday where he commented, This “reprehensible act is yet another example of the escalating violence in the region, threatening to further inflame sensitivities owing to the religious significance of Joseph’s Tomb.”

But when it comes to the third Intifada which has been afflicting Israelis across all of Israel with stabbings, shootings, car attacks running down Jews, rock throwing, firebombing and gang assaults; all the Secretary General could manage was to demand that both sides step back from the abyss and refrain from taking the violence even further and taking the situation beyond the cusp and into a full scale war. His blame was carefully aimed at both sides making sure not to place blame on either side and using the pretense of equal culpability. His warnings will fall on deaf ears on the PA and Fatah side of the equation possibly because the violence has come close to taking on a life of its own and with the slightest further escalation may become something beyond the ability for Chairman Abbas to curtail and bring to an end. Meanwhile, on the Israeli side the only meaning we could take from the demand that Israel and Israelis need to be less vigilant at warding off these attacks on persons and be more understanding and simply allow such attacks to take place without any consequence or resistance or use of force for protection and just take it and thus end the cycle of violence. Having been through any number of Arab conflagrations we have realized that taking such a passive approach will only be taken as a sign of weakness and thus encourage even greater carnage and the only response which has any potential to end the onslaught is the use of overt force, the use of disproportional force as force, overwhelming force is the only thing which will deter further attacks by the PA and their terror proxies. But we do not expect Ban Ki-moon to understand such things despite how he may feel, as he is such a man of peace and experience and so all-knowing. We can only hope his feelings, assuming he has such, will not be bruised by our not heeding his sagely advice.
Finally we get to the pensive one, to United States Secretary of State John F (for nothing) Kerry who also had some bordering on ridiculous advice for Israel and her citizens. Perhaps the best way to describe Secretary Kerry’s sagely advice would be to allow his words to stand on their own merit or lack thereof. Kerry stated, “We continue to urge everybody to exercise restraint and restrain from any kind of self-help in terms of the violence, and Israel has every right in the world to protect its citizens, as it has been, from random acts of violence. But in my conversations with the prime minister, as well as with King Abdullah and the foreign minister of Jordan, they have expressed the desire to try to see this process be able to find a way of making certain that everybody is clear about what is happening with respect to the Temple Mount.” Additionally, Secretary Kerry spoke of desires with these words, “Israel has made it clear to me that they do not intend to and have not changed the status quo, and I think it’s important for me to meet with the prime minister and talk about the road ahead.” But wait, there’s more, “Security and diplomacy go hand in hand. There is not a time for one and then the other; really there is an importance to both. We want to see calm restored and we want to see the violence stop. And I think everybody in Israel and in the region would like to see both of those things happen.” And there were more words of unimaginable wisdom such as “We have to stop the incitement; we have to stop the violence. I believe people want this to de-escalate.” And the fun just does not stop as John Kerry went onward with claims that the conversations he was having would be “very important to settle on the steps that can be taken beyond the condemnation and beyond the rhetoric” and I bet he was implying ending the violence which he claimed both sides for fomenting and escalating and demanding that both sides stop with the incitement and that both sides needed to exercise calm and not allow the actions of the other side drive further violence on either side. We all hope that the United States Secretary of State does not mean as other State Department spokespeople have inferred that the violence needs to be addressed by the Israeli government who needs to break the cycle of violence and take the initiative for ending the violence. This has been the State Department swan song whenever violence breaks out between terrorists and Israeli civilians on the streets and in restaurants and even rabbis at morning prayers being shot and hacked to death and it is always Israel must take the onus for ending the violence. They are demanding that the Jew return to being the passive Jew that they so loved before the founding of Israel and the surprising survival of the tiny land nestled in the midst of a nice little neighborhood where the rest of the world around Israel wishes us dead.

Their message is not even craftily hidden as it is obvious that the State department has one aim whenever Jews are being victimized. They desire a return to when the Jew lived scattered throughout Europe, North Africa, Asia, and the Middle East and were at the mercy of the rulers as they had no homeland of their own. They lived at peace only by the desires and whims of their protectors, protectors who invariably turned on their Jews when the need changed or there was any reason to find the perfect scapegoats. Be it the Spanish Inquisition, the Purification of France, the plague across Europe which did not kill as many Jews due to Jewish laws of cleanliness making them less susceptible, the whims of Caliphs and Imams, the ridding of the British Isles of the Jew scourge, the purifying of Germany of their Catholics when Martin Luther began the Protestant reformation which also called for removing the Jews by whatever means was convenient which did not exclude murdering them, the Czarist Pogroms followed soon thereafter by the Communists pogroms where the Jews were defined as an unwanted blight on the worker’s revolution despite many having been communists themselves who fought and died for the communists during the revolution just as they had died elsewhere no matter how accepted they had thought they were or how safe they had felt. Even one of the leaders, Trotsky, was a Jew and despite his being one of the most high party officials, this only got him an ax in his head when he was assassinated in his hiding place in Mexico plus any number of events of which the most horrid of them all were the wars over the Holy Lands and, in particular, Jerusalem where when the Crusaders swept through they murdered the Muslims and often the Jews for good measure and when the Islamic forces swept through next, they murdered the Christians and often the Jews for good measure. The Jews were never eradicated and often had disappeared as the scenario became well understood; both sides were none too pleased with a Jewish presence. These were the good old days when Jews were weak and without any power and were vulnerable to any change in the way the political winds blew. There have been claims that in order to escape the Spanish Inquisition a Jew stowed away on one of Columbus’s ships and when the time came to send somebody to talk with the natives, this Jewish stowaway was sent as he was considered the most expendable and the rest is history, not the part where the first member of the Columbus crew to step on the new lands was a Jewish stowaway as that has been placed in amongst the other trivial realities which history preferred to rewrite with a more bold and favorable light shining on their heroic figures who often were more prudent than heroic. We will not return to being the timid Jew as that did not serve us well and we do learn from history and we also know our Bible which has told of this return which was revealed to Moses, to Abraham, to Isaiah and has now come full circle and we are home and we will protect our beloved land from every and anyone who dares to attempt to take it from us or us from our lands. The official words from Prime Minister Netanyahu may tell of sharing our land with those who would murder us in our beds as they did the Fogel family, in our vehicles as was Alexander Levlovitz erev Rosh Hashanah, at our workplace as was Netanel Arami whose Arab co-workers cut his safety lines on the construction site they all worked and in the streets as they are currently doing in what has been identified as the Third Intifada and we will continue to protect ourselves be it by preventing further harm when in the midst of an attack to preferable before any harm is done between the drawing of the weapon, the aiming of a careening vehicle into a bus stop, charging a crowded area with a knife or cleaver or any other assault with intent to do harm and murder of any Israeli as we are not Dhimmi and never will we be Dhimmi nor will we ever bow before Allah or Muhammad as we worship Hashem, the G0d of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and not the god of Abraham Ishmael and Muhammad who took a wrong turn somewhere between the patriarch and the generations which followed.
The current rendition of a Temple Mount status-quo includes the understanding that whenever rioting on the Temple Mount strikes, then Jews must be banned from accessing the Temple Mount, is quite removed from the initial status-quo from right after the Six Day War in the first weeks of June 1967. We discussed this in yesterday’s article to some depth and will hopefully add more to the discussion here. We find the discussions, demands, condemnations and exclamations between politicians, be they Jordanians speaking for the Waqf which is run with Jordanian oversight, the Arab Palestinians who constantly make demands and incite violence, Arab leaders including the Arab League who simply add fodder for the rioting masses, the United Nations leaders who are stuck on blame Israel first and always, and defensive Israeli politicians who try and sound serious and upset while apologizing all to be useless in altering the volatile situations and providing a final solution which will end the current insanity. The truth of the current state of affairs is that the Arabs are in the process of incitement and attempts at expanding their boundaries to outside the walls of the Temple Mount. The incitement has been instigated and inflamed by Mahmoud Abbas, the moderate inciter, and other Arab Palestinian Authority (PA) government officers with assistance from Hamas out of Gaza.
The initial violence which has led to where we now are facing the Third Intifada began just before Rosh Hashanah in efforts planned well ahead of time to prevent Jews ascending to the Temple Mount during the Jewish High Holidays. The al-Aqsa Mosque played a very important part in the instigations and the actual rioting being the main base and armory providing safe refuge for the rioters to retreat beyond the reach of Israeli Security Police and to store rocks, cinderblocks, pyrotechnics, and Molotov cocktail making supplies among other weaponry and supplies (pictured below). The instigation is identical to the cry which began the rioting in 1929 murder spree in Hevron and Jerusalem and again across the entirety of the 1930s which was the lamentation that the Jews were violating the al-Aqsa Mosque. In his speech Abbas claimed that, “The al-Aqsa (Mosque) is ours, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is ours (as belonging to the Arab Palestinians), and they (Jews) have no right to defile them with their filthy feet. We will not allow them to, and we will do everything in our power to protect Jerusalem.” The complete video from Palestinian Media Watch can be viewed right below the al-Aqsa picture set.
The pre-Rosh Hashanah violence did have pretty much the effect desired as free access to the Temple Mount was not permitted and when the first few Jews were permitted onto the Temple Mount Arab women descended upon them calling them names, screaming “Allahu Akbar” at the top of their lungs and spitting with shoving whenever possible and the rioters mounted a simultaneous assault coming out from the al-Aqsa Mosque armed with large rocks, fireworks and Molotov cocktails with backing by others with steel pipes and clubs which these added pressures forcing the cancellation of further visits until things calmed and when they attempted another the escalation was again immediate and final. The rioting continued with it ramping still more fevered than before heading into Yom Kippur and continued through Sukkot and beyond. The rioting also was accompanied by attacks across all of Israel both within and outside the Green Line. There were attacks even in Tel Aviv including two assaults in a Tel Aviv neighborhood called Ra’anana which occurred within minutes of each other. In both instances there were four injured in the second attack after one was injured in the first before a number of others in the immediate vicinity intervened and subdued the terrorist forcing him to remain on the ground until police arrived and pushed the crowds back and arrested the ‘suspect’ while in the other attack the terrorist ran from the scene and was subdued at a short distance and turned over to police. Below is a video which caught the second terror assault where four people were stabbed in quick succession before the assailant continued to flee the scene only to be subdued by a number of other pedestrians and turned over to police.
The rioting has included a growing number of stabbings, some shooting attacks, the use of vehicles to run over people walking on sidewalks or waiting for mass transit more often than not at bus stops as most train and light rail stops have been fortified against such attacks after some horrific terrorist acts earlier this year. These transit stops which were fortified with steel and concrete barriers were relatively few in number compared to the number of bus stops across all of Israel and fortifying these will take a large outlay of funds and probably years to complete. Fortifying bus stops will likely cost even more than it did to fortify schools which were determined to be most vulnerable to being struck by Hamas and other rockets which continue to be fired into Israel at a rate of anywhere from two or three to a half dozen each week with nary a week going by without at least one attempt. Fortunately, there have been a greater than normal percentage of rockets which have not cleared Gaza and instead have hit locations within Gaza and have struck a number of residences and a few other buildings within Gaza. We have been waiting for the United Nations to demand Israel fortify buildings in Gaza as there were calls for Israel to share some of the Iron Dome anti-missile batteries (launch of interceptor pictured below) with Hamas so Hamas could guard Gaza from rockets and artillery. The actual words, according to Haaretz, from High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay were, “They have not only provided the heavy weaponry which is now being used by Israel in Gaza but they’ve also provided almost one-billion dollars in providing the ‘Iron Domes’ to protect the Israelis from rocket attacks. But no such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling.”

The latest information about the levels of violence and what part Hamas can play was defined in their call for Hamas terrorists who live in Judea and Samaria to assault Israelis using suicidal homicide bombing attacks instead of Hamas returning to a rocket onslaught out of Gaza. Their reasoning for not starting another rocket offensive was, according to the Hamas rumor mill, they did not want to outshine the efforts currently being performed by Fatah and other PA aligned groups with the stabbings and using vehicles to injure and murder Israelis, especially Jews. The one complaint was that nobody was attempting to use bombs even if it became necessary to use suicidal homicide bombing attacks which they then made the request for Hamas operatives to immediately start to work with whoever was required to carry out such attacks in the immediate future. Should this actually signal the next ramping in the violence it may bring a definitive series of steps by Israeli security and IDF forces in order to put an end to the slowly rising level of attacks and do what will eventually be necessary. No matter how long the leadership is willing to put up with the violence, it has driven many an Israeli to the point of distraction and they have already started demanding that the government take the required steps to return calm and make the streets and bus stops and everything else safe again before there is an attack whose results are so horrific that the government will have no choice but to act. It would really be preferred for things not to escalate any further and for the government to cut the IDF, Shin Bet, Police and Border Patrol free to put an end to the violence and have them start by arresting Mahmoud Abbas, Saab Erekat and the rest of the Fatah, PA, PLO and al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigades leaders and cut the head off of this terror snake. Enough was enough when the violence just continued to ramp through the High Holidays and now has turned to general mayhem across the width and breadth of Israel and the areas beyond the Green Line.
The reason that the world will be upset is ridiculous as we all know they will be upset with anything the Jews in Israel do to protect themselves and will only accept Jews who allow others to murder them at will and simply plead for our betters to come and save us. That is not the kind of Jew who lives in Israel and it is time for our leaders to have the same grit that the citizens have shown when faced with armed terrorists and they charge them in numbers and subdue them despite the danger or the fear of what the world will think. We honestly do not care what the world may think. We care about what we think and we think that this is our homeland, all of it from the Sea to the River and it has gone beyond time we enforced that and took control of our future taking it in our hands. We need to take responsibility for our lands and take care of the threats which reside within and without, and there are legions of both and we recognize this. We know that the threat will only increase and grow for as long as we allow the Arab threat from within our homeland to continue with their murderous defiance, and we have seen where many of the latest terrorist attackers come from within Green Line Israel and the world is not at ease that we arrest them any more than when we arrest Hamas and Fatah terrorists from within Arab Palestinian areas. The world can rot for all that matters here; what matters here is our safety and our future and the government making both as promising as possible. The first step to that promise is to end the murderous terrorisms from all sources. If that means taking control of all of Judea and Samaria, then get it done now as there will be no better time. Should we wait we will end up facing armies of Europe and the United States and who knows who else. As Israel we have One Ally and He sits on high and sees all that we do. Hashem is likely very sad at our timidity and lack of faith that He is with us and wants us to take care of the land, all the lands which He entrusted to us. What more reason could one need beyond Hashem commanded us to take, keep and flourish in His lands for as long as we followed the commandments and kept the covenant and it is time to do both. The people of Israel are ready and Hashem is always ready for when we act boldly and in His name and with the blessings of Hashem, so what are you waiting for, the people to rise up on their own?
