Only In Israel are Terrorists Considered Unarmed

United Nations Middle East Peace Envoy Nickolay Mladenov asked, “How does the killing of a child in #Gaza today help #peace? It doesn’t! It fuels anger and breeds more killing.” Well, apparently Nickolay Mladenov refers to Gazan teenagers who were likely flying Molotov cocktail bearing kites over Israel to loose aiming them to drop on farmlands, homes, civilian structures or IDF positions or one of a team manning the makeshift but potentially lethal catapults launching flaming balls over the border fence onto IDF positions to be unarmed, peaceful protesters seeking social justice. We are not surprised by such grandstanding and outright lies from any holding the position of United Nations Middle East Peace Envoy. We do wonder why somebody holding the title of United Nations Middle East Peace Envoy spends all their time demanding Israel surrender to every Arab demand while ignoring the minor slaughters going on in Yemen and Syria where hundreds are being slaughtered every day with some falling to chemical strikes killing numbers of women and children and other innocents who are not launching incendiary devices at anybody. Perhaps this might be because to attend to these human meat-grinders in Yemen and Syria as they do not provide nice five star Tel Aviv hotels on a pristine beach on the Mediterranean with five star restaurants and a great night life. Perhaps we should not fault somebody for preferring Israeli hospitality to investigating the killing in Yemen or staying in a hotel in Damascus or travelling to Douma to investigate the horrors of the aftermath of Bashir al-Assad’s butchery. Of course we have apparently forgotten that the United Nations could not care all that much about Arab on Arab brutality when there is one percent of the violence which involves Israel defending her border from masses promising to shred the border and rampage throughout the countryside to eat the livers and pluck out the hearts of Israelis. But the intents of these violent and riotous protests are completely peaceful and the Gazan protesters rallied on by Yahya Sinwar clearly espousing the murder of Israelis including civilians, as they are to continue on to Jerusalem while cutting a murderous swath across Israel.

Gazans Firing Makeshift Catapult

Gazans Firing Makeshift Catapult

We have an idea, a concept, for why United Nations Middle East Peace Envoy Nickolay Mladenov decided to take to Twitter and stir the pot for a simple and self-serving reason; the Gaza riots have been slowly winding down with less Gazans showing up each day and less showing every successive Friday afternoon, the time which Hamas has relied upon to carry the noise forward, he decided to give the rioters a rallying cry from Geneva (or Turtle Bay) and reaffirm that there are those on their side out in the world still watching and rooting for them. Without the rioting continuing, Nickolay Mladenov would start to feel useless as there might not be any further need or opportunities to blame Israel for the evils in the region. To claim that the United Nations is anti-Zionist, anti-Israel and potentially anti-Semitic, at least against Jews who are proud and support Israel, but not leftist Jews who are only cursory Jewish, only by birth, would be speaking the obvious. One need only examine the votes in the General Assembly when the Arab League or Arab Nations bring up a motion to condemn Israel and the vote most often results in over one-hundred condemning Israel, twenty to thirty-five abstaining and at best a dozen supporting Israel and use such as their measure. One might look to the United Nations Human Rights Commission which condemns Israel at ten times the rate as it does Syria, North Korea, Venezuela or other international hot spot of suffering. Research the recent decisions by UNESCO which has passed motions which could make one believe that no nation such as Israel even exists, and UNESCO likely would vote claiming it does not. We could move up and down the entire spectrum of United Nations committees, commissions, agencies and other institutions and one will find one after another which had done virtually everything in their power to declare Israel to be the nation causing the greatest harm to peace and tranquility in this world or the main cause of every disruption. We are only slightly short of surprised that Israel was not blamed for the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991. Unfortunately, the United Nations is not the only body which defames Israel at almost every opportunity as the Arab League and European Union both give the United Nations a run for their money.

Now we can go to the good news. The Gaza rioting has lessened and has even been receiving less coverage within Israel. The reason for these riots has not changed which means that Israel can expect them to build over the final weekend leading up to the announcement of the moving of the United States embassy to Jerusalem. There will be any number of reasons given in the world media which mostly will not mention the moving of the United States embassy. They will claim that it is all about the Israeli occupation of Gaza. The problem is there is no occupation by Israel of Gaza as there are absolutely no IDF soldiers inside Gaza and no Jews inside Gaza and the ones who are causing the serious problems, crises and humanitarian presumed tragedies for the people within Gaza are all due to Hamas and Islamic Jihad using the materials allowed in for rebuilding Gaza to construct tunnels, bunkers and underground invasion points into Israel with some reaching into the civilian areas near Gaza before being detected as well as using all available funds preparing for their next rocket war with Israel which is not designed to defeat Israel but to drive the Israelis out as they wear them down with these assaults. Hamas has succeeded in making many people desire to leave the area at the first possible moment when they are able to escape, and those are the Gazans living in the horror of a terror state which cares more about using them as props in their world propaganda war on Israel and shields in their open warfare with Israel.

The Hamas governance in Gaza has little regard for the normal citizen residing under their rule which is evidenced by their not spending sufficient funds to provide them with electricity despite Israel already providing a large percentage of the electrical needs, but Israel is not connected to the entirety of Gaza or even Gaza City and thus many Gazans receive four to six hours of electricity per day. The Hamas government had not performed maintenance or repairs to their sewage treatment facility leading to raw sewage flowing through the streets when it overflows polluting the ground water making wells unpalatable. Hamas does provide full services and has some luxurious homes, hotels, shops, restaurant and a mall all reserved for the ranking members of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the criminal gangs who run the smuggling tunnels from the Sinai Peninsula into Gaza while leaving the war ravaged areas in complete disrepair (see picture below). These areas which have been destroyed by the past wars are more often left with minimal if any repair and then are used in the next war to claim that Israel has destroyed far more than actually struck. After three wars with Israel, Hamas has areas which they can show reporters from the world media claiming that Israel has refused to give them the materials to repair, often leading to the United Nations and European Union and member nations demanding Israel allow tons more rebar, cement, concrete and other building materials in to permit the houses and apartment buildings to be rebuilt. Israel has allowed this aid in at least three times since the last war which lasted from July 8, 2014 to August 26, 2014 as well as since the previous wars, yet these buildings are still largely unrepaired but there has been much building of tunnels into Israel under the border fence (for dates in reverse chronological order, please see list at end of this article).

The Two Gazas with One Pristine and the Other Ravaged

The Two Gazas with One Pristine and the Other Ravaged

What do we need to take away from today’s article is easy and thankfully relatively brief. First is that Israel does not rule Gaza, does not police Gaza, does not have troops in Gaza, there are no Israelis in Gaza and despite the blockade, after inspection Israel still sends in as many as a thousand trucks of provisions per day which continued even during open conflict with Hamas such that the Gazans do not suffer more than absolutely unavoidable. Israel provides electricity, gas and water to Gaza despite their not paying for these provided services causing higher prices for Israelis for their electricity, gas and water. Simply stated, except when there is violence emanating from Gaza, Israel does as much as if not more than what any rational government would provide to relieve the suffering of Gazans. Hamas does their utmost to force Gazans into poverty and deny their own people basic services simply to fuel their war and terror efforts against Israel. There have been reports that if permitted to leave, some fifty percent of youth in Gaza, if they could leave, they would leave while more than 90 percent of Gaza Strip residents want to leave because of Hamas, Fatah spokesman Osama Qawassmeh said on Wednesday. Hamas is also attempting with their violent protests to breach the Israeli border and have masses of Gazans attempt to rush into Israel with intent to destroy and murder as much as they are able. The actual hope of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad leadership is for these mobs to cause some extent of damage but for them to mostly end up shot and possibly killed by IDF soldiers protecting the border and preventing damage to property and injuries or worse to Israeli citizens. One might ask why the leadership would desire having large numbers of the people they presumably care about killed. That has an easy but painful reason, they desire pictures of Gazans shot dead to plaster across the world’s newspapers and television screens and to take to the United Nations and European government all in an effort to turn the world against Israel and whip up as much hatred for Israel and the IDF as possible. Israel has been utilizing riot controls such as water cannons and tear gas to disperse or prevent having Gazans breach the border. When the border fence is threatened, the IDF will initially use rubber bullets but should the border itself be threatened, then just as any nation defending itself from invasion, they shoot live ammunition. What is being done in Gaza is preparation for an assault upon Israel with the border being breached and sending as many people, mostly young adults and teenagers, military age men, through the fence with the intent on destruction and also as shields hiding armed terrorists with AK-47’s and bombs for causing as much massive damage as possible. This and maximizing casualties on both sides are the main intent and Israel is doing whatever is possible to prevent the border breach as that will save the most number of lives, both for Israel and the Gazan people. What Israel is doing are acts she has been forced and these are acts with the intent of defending Israel and hopefully preventing a situation where mass casualties are inflicted upon Gazan citizens despite the plans of Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

State Department and Their Moment of Clarity

The United States Department of State released annual Report to Congress on International Religious Freedom – the International Religious Freedom Report – describing the status of religious freedom in every country. This year the report had a remarkable citation which had previously been explained away by blaming the victim and excusing the oppressive doctrinarian persecutor which practiced religious and societal supremacy despite their societal dysfunctionality. The hiccup, if you’ll admit the slang, was a report that the Palestinian Authority (PA) was indeed committing anti-Semitism and broadcasting it on their television and radio broadcasts. There were also criticisms of Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and Indonesia Wednesday for having laws that infringe upon religious freedom citing blasphemy, apostasy and anti-conversion laws. The report succinctly stated, “Such laws conflict with and undermine universally recognized human rights,” referring directly at one state’s actions the report went on to state, “Saudi Arabia penalizes blasphemy with lengthy prison sentences and lashings, often after detention without trial, or so-called protective custody, according to legal experts.” Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken stated at an event announcing the report, “In far too many countries, 2015 witnessed appalling patterns of significant restrictions on religious practice, as well as societal intolerance of, restrictions on and even violence against members of religious minority groups. Bigotry and intolerance can be found in every part of the world, including the United States, but every country has an obligation to respect religious liberty and freedom of conscience.”

But in the area of Israel, where we will concentrate our commentary, the report brought some needed fresh air. The State Department, and especially under President Obama, criticizing the PA for their open and blatant anti-Semitism is as surprising as it was welcome. As far as any actual actions or further recognition, that remains to be seen though we expect very little to come of this. Reports are, after all, written to please, aggravate, motivate or mitigate situations while having minimal effect or amelioration before being filed on a shelf next to the report from previous years which had also made new or original bold statement only to settle on the shelf awaiting the next year’s report to brace it from the open end. This report shall be no different and likely be even of less consequence as the elections in the United States will soon suck all the oxygen from the media rooms across the world, be it the United States elections or the German elections by five of sixteen states in the build-up to the next year’s federal vote where it is fully expected to replace Chancellor Angela Merkel and her Christian Democratic Union (CDU) from a decade of dominance due to the refugee crisis. Changes are coming in Europe and perhaps in the United States as well. All of this we will watch and see and then wait for any changes both local and internationally. Despite belief by President Obama that he controls the fate of the world, this report was likely about the upcoming elections while ignoring their boss, the man holding the world currently.

Obama World and he can hold the whole thing like a basketball but just like a basketball he is clueless what to do with it

Obama World and he can hold the whole thing like a basketball but just like a basketball he is clueless what to do with it

Closer to home at our small corner, and we emphasize small, of the Mediterranean the State Department report will be accepted as a breath of fresh air as a known reality has finally been recognized in writing by what has been and likely remains an adversarial United States Department of State. This report may simply be the State Department setting a note in their records just in case there may be coming a drastic change in the Executive Brach of the United States governance. Despite the hyperventilating over the great lead Hillary Clinton has theoretically built up in the past month according to the United States media, even FOX, in the most respected and neutral polling this past week she held less than a five percent lead, less than a single point in one, over Donald Trump, a lead within the margin of errors. This probably has the great minds at the State Department fearing that the light they see down the tunnel is not the opening to the broad outdoors but the headlamp of an onrushing train and they figure better to be safe than left out on a limb with little support as a new President starts sawing their branch off before they can scamper back saving themselves and their appointed positions. Moving to the center is done by places beyond candidates who have been forced away from the center during a primary challenge. This may be nothing more than centering the State Department ship before it lists so far over they capsize.

Then again, perhaps there is another reason for the state department report stating in blatant terms that the PA broadcasts and other activities are peddling anti-Semitism. There is also the possibility that the extremes reached have finally crossed a previously uncrossed level which placed their actions beyond even the State Department’s ability to excuse with their normal euphemisms. The previous State Department reports had blamed the Israeli “occupation” and Israeli “oppressions” and “treatment of the Arab Palestinian” as the reasons for which any hatreds originating from the PA and their society as understandable and even excusable. The fact is official members of the PA governance are making statements over the broadcast channels to instigate further attacks on Israelis anywhere and everywhere including blatantly calling for violence within Israel inside the Green Line in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Beersheba, Jerusalem, Ashdod as well as Hevron and other areas in Judea and Samaria. Further calls were broadcast calling for Israeli Arabs to attack and murder Israelis and some calls to violence was more general demanding the attacks and terrorism to murder Jews. There were also the calls for rioting on the Temple Mount where there was no difference drawn between Israelis and tourists whether Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu or even Shinto. What will remain to be seen is the follow through, should there be one. But will the policies demand of Israeli sacrifices and concessions while forgiving any and every crime committed by the Arabs both under PA rule and Hamas rule in Gaza. One need remember that Hamas was overwhelmingly elected in honest elections over a decade ago by both the Arabs in Gaza and in Judea and Samaria and no elections have been permitted by the ruling Hamas or Fatah, both terror parties, ever since. The Arab Palestinians have what can be laughingly referred to as third world democracy, one person, one vote, one time.

Reports recognizing the near universal anti-Semitism and religious hatreds which permeate the Arab world where even minority sects of Islam are denigrated and subjugated to similar treatments as the Christians, Yazidis, Baha’i, Buddhists, Hindus, Zoroastrians and other minority religions spread across the Islamic world as well as the Arab world have previously been rare and oft ignored. Reports and even speeches may bring attention to these problems but there needs be actions backing up the words. This will be what needs be watched and see if policies are altered to reflect this report. All of this will depend heavily on the next elections throughout Europe after the first installment of reaching towards three million and possibly as much as five million “refugees” have inundated the continent from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) with over one million taking up refuge in Germany alone. The fact that approaching eighty to ninety percent, depending on locations and reports, of these “refugees” being males between the ages of thirteen to forty without women or children accompanying these military age males paints an ominous picture for military planners and security forces alike. Then there were the New Year’s Eve sex crime wave which struck central celebration areas in cities all across Germany and in spotty locations in Scandinavia and other European hot spots, the terrorism increase and a general increase in crime. While what the level of assimilation to which these mostly Muslim immigrants will accomplish with their adopting a more European outlook cannot yet be ascertained but initial data leaves one with an uneasy feeling about the grim prospects of there being any degree of assimilation. Some are blaming the BREXIT on the immigrant crisis where the reason the British voted to leave the European Union was so they could place blockades against further infiltrations. As the “refugees” have yet to penetrate into Scotland and Northern Ireland or the Irish Isles has been stated by those who voted in large sectors from England as the reason these areas are considering rejoining the European Union independently. If these nations from the British group expect that they might be voted from Britain with the English possibly deciding to go it alone relying on the English to act as a cork on the European bottle protecting these nations after they reapply to the European Union from direct infiltrations by MENA refugees halting them at the Chunnel blocking any crossings of the English Channel, they are hoping that the English will be responsible for them while they continue the jolly life as members of the European Union protected from the decisions in Brussels by England, the adults on the islands. The English would be hard pressed to allow the “refugees” to pass through to the northern lands as that would place their presence on both borders making their infiltration a greater danger by far.

Meanwhile, Israel likely is going to have this paper, this report by the State Department, touted by the government with every party claiming either their contribution to forcing the admitting of the problem or claiming they will patiently await actions which speak louder than worlds. Those who take credit for the report by the State Department are making grand claims with likely little real or hard evidence of their complicity in the formation of this report. This admission of the sins committed by the PA was and will continue to be just a centering of State Department positions in anticipation of a possible shift in White House positions after the election and thus the adoption of a more nuanced position from which the department can slide whichever direction the President will lean upon arrival. The State Department simply has noted that whichever candidate wins the election, be it Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, there will be little if anything that the State Department will be capable of performing which will alter either candidate’s preferred and preset position vis-à-vis Israel. As for determining the position either candidate will take may appear easy, it also may be less well known or predictable as one might suspect.

Our talks with actual Israelis, Sabras (native born Israelis) who have never visited the United States, they are confused as to which candidate will win the election. Many feel that Hillary has this as her election to lose as if she cannot beat Donald Trump then she was not cut out to beat anybody. Many fear Trump as much as they do Clinton. The one thing we have seen as a constant is their asking us what we think will happen and pleading that we grant them good news and reinforce what they already hope for from the elections. One item these Israelis have been made aware of comes through a quote, we like quotes as we cannot be fully blamed for their content, the quote we turn to was reputedly from Joseph Stalin where it was stated in Boris Bazhanov’s Memoirs of Stalin’s Former Secretary, published in 1992 and only available, so far as we know, in Russian where it stated, “You know, comrades that I think in regard to this: I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this, who will count the votes, and how.” When we receive puzzled looks we point to the claims that in certain districts there were more votes tallied than there were registered voters and some have claimed that entire voting districts had absolutely no votes recorded for any candidate other than those for one of the two main parties. This often does not clear their puzzled look as much as add a degree of obvious fear or ominous foreboding to their puzzlement.

Palestinians and Israeli Arabist Jihadist War

Mahmoud Abbas has two faces, one that screams ‘peace, peace but there is no peace’ to the West and they dutifully blame Israel for not simply giving Abbas all the lands he desires. Nobody ever attempts to discover the land Abbas demands as if they did they might soon catch their first glimpse of his other face. That is the face that demands ‘jihad, jihad, kill the Jews’ and take all the land from the river to the sea, Palestine will kill until free. That face is easy to find if one just translates his speeches from Arabic to English, French, whatever language the Western politicians need to understand what more and more Israelis have learned. There is a reason nobody from Europe or the United States translate Abbas speeches and the lessons taught using the textbooks dripping with Jew hatred that the Western nations are paying to provide and poison another generation and guarantee there will be no peace as long as the Jews are alive. There are those who believe that the reason nothing is ever demanded of Abbas is because all too many of the political class agree with what Abbas is instigating and know that as long as they berate Israelis and blame only Israel for the lack of peace then Abbas will kill some more Jews for them. One hopes that such is not the reality and that peace is actually what all sides desire and ignorance is the only reason that no demands are made of Abbas and the West actually does not know that the Charter never was altered and still calls for the death of all Israelis and the liberation from the river to the sea and nothing less is acceptable to Abbas or the Palestinians as they are assured by the lack of any real actions demanding both sides compromise and that all demands for concessions have and apparently always will be demanded solely of Israel. As long as they are never called upon to compromise and continue to vocally demand every inch of land with the erasure of Israel and her Jewish population then all must be on their side. One can only be confused that the Israelis have never bolted and rejected this status quo. Perhaps that time is way overdue.

Burning Israel Star of David

Perhaps the United States will finally elect a President who understands the lies upon which all previous Presidents have followed and finally break this fatal trend and strike out on a more realistic and fair path which demands both sides meet in the middle and that the Palestinians at long last actually change their charter such that it no longer demands the death of the Jews and the complete destruction of Israel replacing it with Palestine. That would require that the United States elect the candidate who would break with the past and actually seek a real peace and if Abbas refuses to compromise to simply walk away and free Israel to do that which removes the jihadi threat that Abbas poses and end the cycle of violence which is always initiated by Abbas and his band of jihadists. That would mean the removal of Abbas, Fatah, the PLO and the entire alphabet soup of terror mongers and allow those Arabs who would desire to live in peace to remain and those who act against Israel be deported and never permitted to return. This would also allow for replacing the texts and the hate that they teach and instead teach academics which would train the Arabs for gainful employment and a future of freedom and productivity. This would finally give the Arabs in Judea and Samaria to improve their lives and have something to live for which would have to be better than training them such that they only know how to die for Abbas and his war which he will never fight as he demands of them and he will not throw his life away attacking soldiers as he has the youth who he indoctrinates on hatred and chasing the afterlife as if that is the best future these youth can desire, it is criminal and is enough of a reason to rid the Arab society of his poisonous hate. But which of the four leading Presidential candidates would best walk that new path?

Since the Israeli leadership feels with good reason that Israel is dependent on the United States for too much to make a go without United States aid at this time, there is a sense of indentured servitude. One of the main reasons that this is so dates back to the deal where Israel accepted the United States promise to provide air superiority for Israel in the Middle East and bought Israel subservience with F15s and F16s if Israel gave up their designing and production of the Lavi fighter which was similar to the F16 but did not have the F15 strike capabilities. The F15s made that deal near impossible to pass up and Israel fell into the trap of dependence on the United States for their fighter and most other aircraft and the Israeli aircraft industry retooled to research, design and produce other military and civilian products. Now it would likely take Israel five to ten years to retool, design and start to produce her own fifth generation or even sixth generation, whatever capabilities and design features those airframes might entail. Likely the sixth generation fighters would be such that one pilot and gunner would control five other birds as well as their own and fly their own cover, and thus a dozen airmen would control thirty-six attack aircraft and with 360o helmets as the canopies of all the aircraft would be solid carbon fiber and Kevlar composite formed under aluminum skin making the aircraft bullet resistant and that much more difficult to shoot down. These aircraft would also have laser intercept such as the Elbit Systems C-MUSIC anti-missile Protection retooled and upgraded to divert and destroy all versions of antiaircraft missiles, heat seeking and radar lacking as well as ground-to-air and air-to-air thus removing much of the need for aircraft to need to use avoidance maneuvers as their inboard systems would remove the necessity. This could be just one of the systems incorporated along with stealth and low frequency anti-radar systems making the aircraft ultimately improbable to intercept or shoot down. But such designing and resting would take likely a dozen years to design and put into production and in the meantime Israel would need to depend on the F35JSF fighters she has already contracted for with the United States.

Meanwhile, what would the future most likely be like depending on each of the four Presidential frontrunners? First off, let’s take Donald Trump. He is the most difficult to gauge. Would we get the debate Donald Trump who distanced himself placing wiggle room between his foreign policies and Israel or would we get the AIPAC Donald Trump who proclaimed the United States had no closer friend and to whom he pledged his unfaltering support. The truth probably lies somewhere in between and just might be better on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays while colder on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, who knows. One thing likely is whatever the relations, they would constantly be fluid which would mean that no might not always mean no, it might mean ask again next week and remember which are your good days. So, Donald is what he will be on many issues, a puzzle which will develop and change with time and mood, not necessarily a great thing.

Donald Trump

Then we have Hillary Clinton. We got a good measure of her approach when she lectured Prime Minister Netanyahu for close to an hour if not more about how when President Obama or herself told him to jump the only response they want to hear was, “How high?” Hillary did pay Israel some lip service when she was running, or should we say buying and collecting her consolation prize of Senator from New York. That was supposed to give her the Presidency in 2008 but apparently somebody was not in on that arrangement so she got another consolation prize instead, Secretary of State, which again was supposed to prepare her for a cakewalk to the Presidency but apparently somebody did not get the memo again, imagine that. So, Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation now being a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will not exactly be all that enamored with Israel or Egypt and there will be more contribution likely coming from Iran just to complicate matters. Israel can expect tire tracks up and down the Prime Minister’s back with a Hillary Presidency along with more telephone berating demanding he toe the line and know his place. Should there be an election in Israel we can also expect the entire Democrat election machinery to set up camp in Tel Aviv and work diligently to elect whoever a coalition backing either the Labor Party or Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid Party depending upon who promises to be the best little soldier doing whatever they are bid to do.

Hillary Clinton

Next we will discuss Ted Cruz. Ted is the easiest of the candidates to predict only rivaled by Bernie Sanders. Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders are polar opposites when it comes to Israel. Ted Cruz has stated and can be believed that he will invite Prime Minister Netanyahu to the White House as his first act after being sworn in. The next item on Ted Cruz’s list will be setting in motion a grand White House dinner and possibly grand black tie ball. The meal will be Kosher and the prayer before eating will be performed by a Rabbi of note and probably recommended by the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA). Ted Cruz might just be the President who breaks with the past and ignores the State Department and might even clean out the State department which has often acted as the main functionary for America’s enemies. They appeared to back the Soviet Union and once it collapsed, they quickly swung over to support the Arabist and jihadists. Ted will be the first President to completely ignore Mahmoud Abbas and his litany of complaints and back Israel in their fight against the same Jihadist enemies the United States and the free world are facing. There is little if any difference between Hamas and Islamic State, Hezballah and the IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps), Fatah and the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization), Islamic Jihad and al Qaeda. These are all either Sunni or Shiite jihadist movements all of which desire an entire world under the boot of Islam; they just differ over which flavor of Islam, rocky road or peanut butter fudge ripple. Ted Cruz fully understands this and if he is smart and can get Allen West for either Secretary of Defense or, if cleaning out the State department is on the to do list, Secretary of State. With Col. West Israel will have another friend in high places.

Ted Cruz

This leaves Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders was born Jewish, or at least into what was a Jewish family. Bernie Sanders himself is not all that caught up in the Jewish thing; actually he appears to run from it as fast and far as he is able. On Israel Bernie Sanders is the one candidate who makes Hillary appear friendly to Israel. Bernie while in the Senate voted to defund Israel. He would quite possibly decide to save money by cancelling the Israeli order for F35JSF fifth generation fighters. He would then likely cut all aid to Israel as well as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey and the rest of the Middle East right before he slashed the Defense budget seeing it all as unnecessary and monies which could be better used correcting income inequality. Bernie would possibly cut all aid to the Palestinians until the leftist and his friends from the socialist camp demanded he continue or possibly increase the aid to these people as they deserved every penny and were not getting sufficient because if the United States supported them half as well as they had Israel all these years the Arab-Palestinian Israel conflict would have been resolved and Palestine would be freed from the river to the sea as it deserves. Bernie Sanders would be a disaster initially for Israel making them potentially endangered for the immediate future but fortunately Hezballah is quite preoccupied and Hamas is nowhere near strong enough to take on Israel and the Islamic State has sufficient problems holding what they have gained and also are in no position to attack Israel. Should Bernie Sanders walk away from supporting Israel it would take Israel less than a year to reinforce their position and be ready for any challenge and could then work on designing their next generation fighter. In the long run Israel would be ahead and more self-reliant and would actually owe Bernie a thank you visit where the Israelis could give him a demonstration of the new Israeli fighter which was going to make many decide to purchase from Israel and forgo the limitations and the leash which the F15JSF has connecting them permanently to the United States which requires regular uploads and downloads feeding the United States every bit of information on how the fighter was used, where it flew, when it flew and any other data including weapons loads that it carried on each mission and if they were deployed and any of the armaments fired and if so at what and whether they hit target or missed. Surely nobody could be concerned about the F35JSF relating such data during maintenance which it would require regularly. So, by cutting Israel off, Bernie Sanders might actually be providing Israel with the incentive to become self-reliant and self-sufficient for her own defense for the immediate and longer future.

Bernie Sanders

The one thing which was obvious from the start of the American primary elections, the only party which had any chance of offering a candidate who would back Israel even slightly was the Republicans. This stands in stark contrast to elections past where supporting Israel was a guaranteed given in word even if action was less convincing. Things have turned in the United States and we are witnessing the slow but inevitable erosion of the American Israeli love affair. The marriage is without a doubt heading for a divorce and Israel had best get their arms around this inevitability and begin to make whatever adjustments will become necessary and required. The first is get prepared to at the least make their own aircraft as American jets may not be forthcoming after the F35JSF, and that is a fact, not conjecture. We know not how much longer the Republicans will be able to be trusted to support Israel, but once they slide the end will be in sight.
