Israel Further Divided is Israel No More

How many times can Israel be divided down from the original British Mandate until there is no longer any viable Israel? Would taking away seventy-eight percent of the lands make Israel untenable? History would indicate that was not the case as Israel survived two Arab mass attacks to try and eradicate her. The division was made when the Palestinian Arab State of Jordan was granted to be ruled by the Hashemites and Israel was left with the twenty-two percent of the Mandate west of the Jordan River. The first assault came within hours of the State of Israel being declared established where half a dozen Arab States attacked across every border and yet Israel survived. Again in June of 1967 Israel was attacked across her three land borders by Syria, Egypt and Jordan and survived. Then again in 1973 Israel was again attacked by Egypt and Syria but survived due to still holding the Sinai Peninsula otherwise Israel might have been lost. But with Israel having returned all of the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt for the promise of a future of peace, a cold peace, but peace just the same, well, thus far; Israel was shrunk back to controlling merely the twenty-two percent of the original British Mandate west of the Jordan River. Still, this was too much land for Jews to hold according to the rest of the world, at least all of the world which was making any noise. What then followed is frightening but nowhere near as frightening as what the future potentially holds.

Since March 26, 1979, when the Camp David Accords was formally signed and peace broke out between Egypt and Israel, the Sinai Peninsula was returned to Egyptian control with the proviso that it remains limited in military powers being stationed by Egypt with any exceptions as required being established with the full knowledge and permission of Israel. This peace has been a cold peace much of the time but both nations have kept the agreements. There was a short period where the peace appeared to be potentially in danger while the Muslim Brotherhood and President Morsi won an initial election after President Obama assisted in forcing President Mubarak from power. The Egyptian people, or at least a fair percentage, appeared to protest the ill effects of the Muslim Brotherhood rule and the Egyptian military returned to power with President Sisi being elected after the Military removed President Morsi and the Muslim brotherhood from power. President Sisi did at least resign from his position as head of the Egyptian Military before running for President but his election was assured by his leadership in removing the Muslim Brotherhood from power. Israel and Egypt remain at peace and presently there are additional allowances for Egyptian military activity in the Sinai Peninsula to address terrorist activity which has blossomed with Islamic State, Muslim Brotherhood and various other terror and criminal enterprises taking control of much of the Sinai Peninsula.

During President George W. Bush Administration and his plan for Israel-Palestinian Peace named the Roadmap, Israel was pressured in removing every Jewish settlement, industry and other presence from Gaza and a number of other communities in northern regions of Judea and Samaria in order to allow for the Palestinian Authority to be able to establish semiautonomous rule in Judea and Samaria and complete autonomy to establish a working state in the surrendered lands of Gaza to prove that the establishment of a Palestinian State was not only possible but would pose no threat to Israel and could live peacefully side-by-side. The Bush Administration also issued a letter granting fourteen guarantees to Israel as a protection for their taking what could prove to be a huge risk if it went wrong. Since then President Obama basically voided every guarantee granted by that letter claiming there was no promise or guarantee despite a near unanimous approval of these promises by the congress. President Obama’s destruction of those promises was done unilaterally without any council or consent by Congress. Further, within two years the Palestinian Authority lost control of the Gaza to Hamas who has utilized it as a staging area for launching rocket attacks, mortar fire, sniper shootings mostly at Israeli civilian targets and three wars and counting in order to end increasing rocket fire which was ramped up almost in a regularly scheduled timeframe which shortened with each confrontation. Further, the range and accuracy of the rockets have grown significantly placing much, if not all, of Israel within range of rockets fired from the very same locations which had been under the control of the Jewish communities which were removed from Gaza. All told the surrender of Gaza to the Palestinian control turned out to fulfill every single worst possible scenario as predicted by many Zionists and nationalists. Despite the debacle which resulted from the Gaza withdrawal, the world is demanding that Israel now withdraw completely from Judea and Samaria allowing the Palestinian authority another opportunity for displaying their ability to rule and live at peace with Israel. They are demanding this despite, or possibly because of, the fact that Mahmoud Abbas has pledged to use any such withdrawal as an opportunity to destroy the remainder of Israel and murder every Jew residing between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. The world claims that he does not really mean his threats and Israel should give him the opportunity to prove he does not desire to destroy Israel, kill every Jew he can find and take every inch of land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea even if he must burn everything to the ground and lay waste to all of Israel. Actually, he claims to desire and do exactly that and has repeated that threat consistently. But the world is sure that it would be worth it for Israel to test his resolve on this as nobody other than Israelis are threatened and they believe that by sacrificing Israel the terrorism which has spread to their lands will cease because the Arab and Muslim world do not really mean it when they claim that Allah promised them they were to conquer the entire planet and rule it as the lords over all humanity and thus make Islam the only religion and political power on the Earth. What could possibly go wrong, after all Gaza was the exception and the threat does not also transfer to Judea and Samaria, let alone the entire globe.

The problem comes when one realizes the tactical position of superiority giving over all of Judea and Samaria gives the Palestinian Arabs as they take the high grounds and have a direct line of sight over Tel Aviv, Haifa and all of central Israel and the major structures, industry, residential areas, the sole international airport and major docks in all of Israel. There is an article which has a series of pictures taken from what would become Palestine overlooking Israel with detailed description of some of the major targets which would become vulnerable which can be read here which we recommend highly. Below we will post two of those pictures which we feel are pretty much self-descriptive though the sight has information on both and far, far more.

Israel could always make things more difficult for the Arabs by constructing a little wall about two-thousand feet in height and thick enough to withstand a few direct strikes by rocket fire or artillery and then station around five hundred or a thousand Iron Dome Batteries with hundreds and hundreds of interceptor missiles costing approximately $50,000.00 firing one at probably three-fourths of the $50.00 rockets fired over the wall and Israel could afford to do this for almost three weeks before going so far into debt that the nation would financially fail. But of course Judea and Samaria could never turn into Gaza II and Hamas would never be capable of overthrowing the Palestinian Authority a second time and the Islamic State would also have no interest in staging in Judea and Samaria against both Israel and Jordan at some point. And the world would be so appreciative of Israel taking such a risk for peace that they would have Israel’s back should everything go so terribly wrong just as they have with Gaza. Oh, wait; they have not had Israel’s back unless stabbing Israel in the back counts as having our back. Remember that the United Nations had demanded Israel cease attacking Gaza immediately after the IDF fired a single round in counterstrike for a rocket fired using back-tracing technologies which allow a strike to hit nearly exactly where a rocket originated within less than a minute and often mere seconds after the rocket was tracked by an Iron Dome or radar array. Then, when after the numbers of rockets approached almost one thousand per day and Israel sent troops into Gaza to end the barrages the United Nations, European Union, numerous governments and any number of NGOs began accusing Israel of using disproportional force because insufficient numbers of Israelis were being killed despite the overwhelming number of those killed in Gaza proved to be terrorists and others were largely human shields used by Hamas and Islamic Jihad to protect their rocket firing positions and in order to wage political war against Israel. Do not even try and tell me that this time things will be different, they will not and everybody knows they will not except this time there will be massive Israelis killed as well which at least will remove the disproportional force dialogue, but that claim will continue as the Palestinian Authority releases inflated numbers of dead and the world takes their numbers at face value while questioning any numbers released by Israel. Oh, and when the investigation by the United Nations verifies exactly what Israel reported and proved that the Palestinian Authority was making up numbers when claiming there was a massacre, say Jenin for example, the world will continue to claim there was a massacre despite all evidence to the contrary, like Jenin for example. Please spare us the inanities as the stories and empty promises will not sway the majority of Israelis, we have about had it with the double standards and the false pretenses and are fed up and not taking it any longer.

We do not need to explain the reasons why the Arabs have no valid claim and never used Jerusalem as a capital city for any nation and how there was never a nation called Palestine and how it simply denoted a region which has also been referred to as southern Syria but that does not make it Syria any more than it is Palestine. The treaties which make all the lands from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea belonging to Israel, are reserved exclusively for the Jewish State and which cannot be used for any other purpose without the consent of Israel are well known which is why nobody had taken Israel before the International Criminal Court. The entire world of politicians and professors and experts and whoever else is knowledgeable knows, as soon as the case is heard in The Hague the game is over and it will be verified that Israel controls the lands between the Jordan and the Mediterranean, all of it, period. The sole exception is Gaza which Israel ceded to the Palestinian authority and should Israel take it back from Hamas, then there would be an argument which could be heard that it should be returned to the Palestinian Authority. That would lead to another coup as even the Arabs do not wish to live under the Palestinian Authority as their mismanagement and stealing of funds is legendary even to their own people. That would start the question of how many times would the Palestinian authority have to lose Gaza before Israel could simply keep it and allow the Arabs residing in the Gaza to have semiautonomous lives basically ruling themselves while still under the security provided by the IDF to prevent terrorism and any forced takeover by outside forces such as the Muslim Brotherhood or Islamic State or other such forces.

But the world will not sit still and allow Israel to live in peace because the world cannot accept that the Jews are ruling themselves. The world demands that the Jews live under the thumb of others who are their betters and know to keep an eye on the Jew and keep them from ruling the world which they would do if permitted. If one does not believe the Jews run the world then why is the entire world despite all its other problems always holding hearings and conferences to decide what to do next with the Jews and Israel? Obviously since the world concentrates so much energy and time worrying about what the Jews and Israel are up to then there must be something nefarious going on with the Jews and Israel. So much effort is put into dividing Israel into smaller and smaller chunks until it can be erased completely must have some actual reason other than people hate the Jews, they must deserve to be cheated out of the lands so foolishly granted them after World War I and the conferences which followed. Why the Jew must be made subservient just as they have been for the past two and a half thousand years as see how much trouble they have caused even when under the thumb of others, imagine the problems they have caused with their own nation. There have been an inordinate number of resolutions, hearings, conferences, approaches and what not simply to wrest all of the land of Israel from Jewish control so there must be a good reason. Hatred and anti-Semitism cannot be the explanation; it has to be the Jews who are the problem, not the rest of the world. It is entirely impossible for the entire world to be wrong and Israel to be right, isn’t it? It has to be the Jews as the world would not spend so much time, effort, treasure and all else that’s holy just to destroy little old Israel if the Jews were not the problem. This appears to have been the reasoning of the Europeans, the Americans, the United Nations, the Arab World, the Russians, Chinese, and whoever else one cares to name because otherwise everybody has been wasting so much time all about nothing other than hate. Could it all be that simple, could it all be about hatred of the Jews, a three-thousand-plus year problem that the world just cannot seem to get past?

That would be insane as the entire world knows that if the Jews were to be left alone and in peace in the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, that entire 26,184 sq. km., the entire 0.005% of the Earth’s surface, then left to their own devices the Jews of Israel, a whole 0.1% of the World’s population, allowed freedom to invent, research, work and live and share their discoveries and inventions with the world, these Jews who are a remnant of the world population residing on a mere scrap of lands at the east end of the Mediterranean Sea would somehow manage to ruin the lives of everyone else and own everything within a mere decade, maybe two decades? Is this the fear the world has because we often hear of this “Greater Israel” which would come about should Israel not be hampered and driven into extinction by those who have a reliable and valid fear, right? Is it really too much to ask that the world leave us alone and allow us to run our lives, study our Torah and make wondrous discoveries which we will share, invent new applications, programs, devices and miracle cures for diseases and maybe even cancer and share them and do all sorts of what might be seen as miracles and share them all and do it all and remain on our little patch of soil and nothing more. We do not wish to conquer anything and would not have agreed to every proposition made; even when the United Nations proposed on November 29, 1947, against Article 80 of the United Nation’s own Charter, to divide the remaining Mandate Lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea in half and make the Jewish half be made up of over one third Negev Desert; the Zionist Congress speaking for the future Israel and the Jewish nation agreed and the Arab League refused demanding all the land or threatening war, a threat they carried out the very morning of May 15, 1948, the morning of Israel’s founding as a new state, as over a half dozen nation’s armies with militias attacked the nascent Jewish State and somehow a miracle, Israel survived.

About that war where Israel survived but lost Judea and Samaria, renamed West Bank by Jordan, and lost Gaza to Egypt and still Israel celebrated as we Jews had a homeland in the vicinity of our ancient homelands. Jordan occupied Judea and Samaria illegally and even the Arab States refused to recognize their annexation, an annexation they cancelled in order to make additional Arab refugees after the Six Day War, a war Israel begged Jordan to refrain from joining but Jordan saw those pleadings as weakness and found out different. That was the Six Say War where Israel liberated Gaza as well as Judea and Samaria while also conquering all of the Sinai Peninsula and the Golan Heights, another area given away by the French and British in order to deny it to the Israelis and give Syria the high ground overlooking the Galilee. Here is the really interesting item about the lands lost by Israel in 1948-9, the Gaza, Judea and Samaria. These are the very lands that today the world is demanding that Israel surrender to make another Arab State called Palestine. These are part of what the world claims was the ancient land of Palestine though there is no record of any nation ever in all of history called Palestine. There is a region known as Syria Palaestina under the Romans but that was a region ruled from Rome, like Prince Georges County in Maryland, ruled from Washington D.C. but never would one call it a nation. Still, for the eighteen plus years that Jordan and Egypt controlled these regions there was not a single call to form a state called Palestine. There was the formation of a terror group called the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1964, a full three years before the six Day War and the liberation of Gaza, Judea and Samaria by Israel from Egyptian and Jordanian control respectively and the start of the Arab League deceit of stealing land called Palestine. The PLO did claim they were going to liberate Palestine but they were not interested in Gaza, Judea or Samaria as these lands were already in Arab hands. The Palestine they declared they would liberate was Israel, all of Israel, and that is exactly the area they desire to liberate today, all of Israel and not just Gaza, Judea and Samaria. What is so sad is that almost the entire world appears to desire to assist them in exactly that goal and assist them in their conquest of all of Israel. That is the truth and that is why there are seventy nations conspiring in Paris to imagine a new and inventive way of destroying Israel and gifting it to the Arabs who will ignore the land within a few years and move on as they never did populate the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea until the Jews returned and an economy was born. Read Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) and Herman Melville and others descriptions of these lands when they visited the Holy Lands before 1900 and get a taste for the reality and not the fiction being sold as real history by the fabricators and their revisionist history which suits their political ends over the truth. Once you know the reality, please pass it along with some advice that the Jews be permitted their little scrap of land and we will promise to repay in kindness and miracles almost beyond belief.

Listen to the Left and Ignore Reality

The recent horrific terror attack driving a massive truck into the crowds shopping for the holiday at Berlin’s Breitscheidplatz Christmas Market murdered at least twelve people and at least fifty people were injured. There have been accusations that the German authorities were too lax and did not respond to terror warnings that just such an attack was potentially imminent. The critics claim that all that was necessary to protect the shoppers at the Breitscheidplatz Christmas Market was a dozen or so Jersey barriers, heavy concrete barriers with curved sloping sides designed to stop even the largest of trucks including the kind used in the attack. In defense of German authorities, one also need consider exactly how many outdoor Christmas malls such as the Breitscheidplatz Christmas Market exist in all of Germany and then figure the number of Jersey barriers would have been required. That would bring the total of Jersey barriers from around a mere dozen to a number somewhere in the tens of thousands. Were there lapses in Germany? What would be a better question would be are there lapses throughout Western nations from Germany to Britain to Italy and Poland, from Greece to Spain to Finland and Sweden, even across the pond to the United States and Canada? The answer is, of course, yes. Even in Israel where such attacks have occurred for a longer period the placement of large posts anchored into the pavement at bus stops, light train stations and other places where people might congregate is still an ongoing, though urgent, series of installations. This is understandable as first these places must be identified, as bus and light rail stops are simply the initial places requiring these instillations while taxi spots and even busy crosswalks in places in downtown Tel Aviv and Jerusalem as well as other cities take further research to identify and will hopefully eventually be discovered and protected. Of course the rule in terror attacks is whatever preventions are taken will simply change the threat making complete terror-proofing quite impossible; all one can do is alter the targeting.

But just to prove that even the most rudimentary of efforts of prevention will be met with scoffing and ridicule, came care of Britain where there was a credible deterrent which some left wingers were rather critical. One of them wrote: “Safety is the last message this presence is sending out. It’s sad, and an extreme over reaction to a very slim chance of a terrorist attack. More likely to be hit by a drunk driver.” Such noble words of appreciation over even a modicum of effort to protect the public make one shake their heads in amused ridicule and disbelief. Can these people ever be pleased? Imagine the screams and protestations should there have been an attack even with the efforts which drew complaints over the effort. The leftists would be demanding heads of government officials responsible for the lack of sufficient efforts to prevent such an attack. It is understandable that not all terror can be prevented though it can be mitigated to minimal effect which while minimizing the deadly results of mass attacks such as in Germany, as has occurred in Israel, stabbing attacks still have the potential to inflict fatalities and injuries no matter anything short of a complete security provided by an actual police state. Every state need to decide what level of damage would be tolerated by the general public and then assure that their security levels are sufficient to surpass the level of expectation and assure that the people will feel secure. Failing to plan sufficiently will result in your facing the same level of disaster that is being faced by Chancellor Merkel and her government. But leftist trouble with reality is on even greater display when it comes to Israel.

France’s leftist government is once again planning to hold a conference to address a new solution to the Arab Israeli conflict. Their plan is to have representatives from approximately seventy countries gathering on January 15, 2017 for a conference to throw the weight of the international community behind the two-state solution. Thursday’s announcement included the news that neither Israel nor the Palestinians will be present at the meeting. But France intends to invite Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Paris some time afterward to brief them on the outcome of the talks, according to the foreign ministry. Meanwhile, the new French Envoy to Israel said two weeks ago that the conference would not contain any novel ideas on how to solve the Middle East conflict, but is mainly intended to prevent the issue from disappearing amid other global crises. “What we propose is nothing new but [we are] trying to keep the subject on the agenda and not letting it down because there are other crises in the world,” Ambassador Hélène Le Gal said. “We continue to propose things and it’s always in a very good spirit toward Israel.” Keep the Arab Israeli or Israel Palestinian conflict in the new? Have they ever read any newspaper, the New York Times, Washington Post, Haaretz, Paris Guardian, Berlin Morgenpost or Pravda recently? I guarantee that not more than two or three days go by without at least two-thirds, that would be four of the six, would have at least one front page reference to the West Bank, Jerusalem, Temple Mount, Kotel, Settlement, Gaza, Palestinian or Israeli acts against Arabs almost all of which will be negative against Israel. You will likely see more front page news on the Arab Israeli conflict than on the violence in Iraq and even with if not more than Aleppo on an average week in the news, especially if you include television and radio news where time is more limited than is space on the front page of a newspaper. But the brilliant minds in Paris are afraid that the Arab Israeli conflict, particularly the plight of the poor and oppressed Palestinians, might be slipping from the public consciousness. Perhaps the reality is something different, but that can wait for now.

The next item is the latest concern of the Security Council which was scheduled to vote on a resolution condemning Israeli building in Judea, Samaria (West Bank) and (East) Jerusalem and considering including in the resolution banning any further Israeli construction beyond the Green Line. The presentation of the resolution was postponed after Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu appears to have spoken with President-elect Donald Trump who probably was the person who influenced Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi who responded positively to discussions and pressures which desired that the proposal, at the very least, wait until after the Paris conference. Netanyahu likely is also hoping that any proposal will not be considered until after January 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon such that President elect Donald Trump will officially be sworn in as President and Nikki Haley will be representing the United States in the Security Council and a new sheriff will be in charge, this apparently was not the case. Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon has stated, “The delay of the vote is an important step; however we realize that this issue is not yet resolved. We are continuing our diplomatic efforts on all fronts to ensure that this disgraceful resolution will not pass the Security Council.” All efforts came to naught except likely those from the White House from President Barack Hussein Obama who, sticking to his anti-Zionist and anti-Israel positions and vindictiveness toward Prime Minister Netanyahu and all Jews who are not 100% supporting the destruction of Eretz Yisroel and standing by President Barack Hussein Obama’s side, pressed to have this resolution voted upon immediately such that he and he alone would be recorded by history to have finally ended any Israeli compromises and granting the Arab Palestinian terror masters a blank check towards their desired goal of the destruction of Israel and the genocidal elimination of over six-million Jews residing in Israel, who had a strong arm in pushing New Zealand, Malaysia, Senegal and Venezuela (a nation which has no toilet paper, food, prescription drugs or any other vital items) brought the motion back to the floor after Shabbat had started in Israel. The motion passed unanimously with fourteen nations supporting and the United States, in their idea under Obama of a grand gesture, abstaining as if that makes them almost righteous. More on this in a subsequent article early next week as certain particulars become clear.

The French are not the only people on the left who believe that the Israeli Palestinian conflict has not been addressed or given the necessary effort in order to solve it. President Obama was almost constantly complaining that this situation was not getting the amount of attention it deserves. Hillary Clinton had mentioned her intent to give this conflict the attention required to solve the problem. The French are also all-in on the situation and the new Canadian Prime Minister has supported the French efforts claiming that such an international conference is necessary because the world has not put forth the effort and solved the problem. This is despite the near constant addressing and passing of General Assembly Resolutions every year like clockwork at the opening ceremonies, the November 29th annual International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Durban Conferences and any other opportunity the Arab League or individual Arab leaders decide they need to renew their investment in their own standing at the cost of the Zionist entity, Israel, and present their own resolution condemning Israeli something or another as the what is irrelevant as the target of Israel is all that matters. Yet we have the French with atta-boys coming from every leftist leader on the planet backslapping them for their bravery in calling this conference and their claims that this effort will finally be the effort which brings forth a solution if only Israel can be pressed to make the needed sacrifice for peace.

In closing, let us discuss the concept of “bring forth a solution if only Israel can be pressed to make the needed sacrifice for peace.” Israel was required by the world through United Nations resolutions, and the wording was made specific after much debate and every word was carefully checked and rechecked, and Israel was required to “return lands” and not return all lands or any set percentage or even a majority of the lands, just return lands and this return was to be governed by providing Israel with safe and secure defendable borders. These were the requirements and not in any way shape or form demanding a return to the pre Six Day War borders of the Green Line. Repetition of the lie that Israel must retreat completely has been given validity solely through sheer repetition but has no backing in truth. Once the Israelis returned the entirety of the Sinai Peninsula when making peace with Egypt they had more than met all the demands of the United Nations resolutions. They had more than exceeded most expectations as there were many who felt that Israel would demand to retain the western half of the Sinai Peninsula making the central spine of mountains the new Israel-Egyptian border. Whether returning all of the Sinai Peninsula was a wise move will remain undetermined but will appear as a good deal as long as there is no attack from Egypt in the future. Add the granting of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority, who almost immediately lost it to Hamas causing the constant terror threat of rockets, mortars and other attacks from Gaza onto and into Israel, simply added more to the lands returned by Israel. Israel would be completely within their rights to retain all of the remaining lands gained in their defensive wars of 1967 and 1973 which were the six Day War and the Yom Kippur War. Despite this truth the French and much of the world believe that Israel has not given enough and would probably accept that Israel had not given enough even if they did return within the Green Line. The Arabs believe that as long as Israel exists, then Israel has not given enough. If the French would like to have a hint as to what would be acceptable to the Arab League and the Arab world, here it is in a simple concept, the end of Israel and the disposing of the Jews residing there by whatever means necessary with their annihilation being the preferred method by much of the Arab world. That will never happen and Israel will be retaining much of Judea and Samaria and if the Palestinians cannot handle that then Israel will gladly just retain all the land, period. That will make the leftists squirm as they really have a problem with assertive Jews; even the leftist Jews have a problem with assertive Jews. We know as we have witnessed such discomfort simply by walking into a Synagogue in much of the United States, and that is a shame, the real shame.

Middle East Wrap Up for Entering August

Turkey is as good a place to start as any. Turkey is in the midst of a purge which would make Stalin proud. Over six thousand judges and lawyers as well as military ranking officers and others whom Recep Tayyip Erdoğan decided might not be with his Islamization of Turkey. Turkey is now a lost cause and will now, unless something completely unforeseen should disrupt Erdoğan and his plans, slowly sink under the yoke of Islamism. The military, which Mustafa Kemal Atatürk originally tasked with protecting the realm and preserving the secular rule in Turkey has been completely cleansed of its officers dedicated to their Constitutional tasks and Turkey no longer has a savior. When the military could have easily replaced Erdoğan and his Justice and Development Party early in his rule and were prevented by the European Union (EU) and President George W. Bush and were continually prevented by President Obama and the EU, it led to this purge which was required before President Obama left office. It was recognized that should Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton, the upper hand held by Erdoğan may pass from the possible. That is why Erdoğan knew his time was limited and the recent coup gave him the cover to execute his planned purge. Whether the coup was a false flag executed by Erdoğan or Fethullah Gulen and his loyal followers saw the purge coming and acted hastily, which the numerous failures to control critical infrastructure intimated, brought forth a perfect storm allowing for the witch hunt. Turkey has fallen to the Islamist side and into darkness from which it may never return. The sooner NATO and EU member states realize such and divorce themselves from Turkey, the better.

GW Bush plus BH Obama equals RT Erdoğan

Moving on to Syria and we are facing the cauldron of discontent. The forces are almost as diverse as could be imagined. There is the swath controlled by the Islamic State with al-Nusra and other al-Qaeda associated forces, Bashir al-Assad representing the Alawite who are Shia and backed by Iranian forces including IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) as well as Hezballah terror elite from Lebanon and having Russian support in defense of their Mediterranean fleet bases being far forward and independent of the Black Sea fleet bases in the Crimea which could have been choked by Turkey and their control of the Bosporus. Syria, as the refugee situation has proven, is no longer a state in control of its territory and unable to enforce any form of legal control or sense of order. Continuing to Iraq and the situation also includes Islamic State and both Sunni and Shia forces in dispute over territory. The one constant in both north-eastern Syria and Northern Iraq has been the Kurdish Militias, Peshmerga, who have proven to be some of the best equipped and motivated against the Islamic State defeating them regularly and even regaining land and cities previously overrun. These forces would be best used to fight the Islamic State except that the Turkish Air Force has claimed to be bombing the Islamic state front lines when in reality they have bombed the Kurds more regularly than any other targets. Assisting the Kurds and even granting them a homeland as was promised them at the end of World War I before oil was struck around Mosul caused the British to renege and give the promised Kurdish lands to their chosen ruler of Iraq in exchange for the oil rights. The British were not exactly the most dependable when it came to promises made during World War I, just as the Jewish State of Israel which was delayed and directly prevented from establishing a homeland for the Jews at the start of World War II when the Jews desperately could have used a safe home to which to flee Germany and the advance of the Reich and the gas chambers. During these years the British limited Jewish emigration to seventy-five-thousand a year allowing less than thirty-thousand at best under the pretense that they required time to process applicants.

Jordan is one of the few breaths of fresh air. The Monarchy has permitted further democrazation and is granting more power to the Parliament over time and had the support of most of the populace. The horrific and public execution of the captured Jordanian pilot and the bold reaction of their monarch to the provocation won the King great favor and admiration from the Jordanian public. Jordan is one of the few stable republics in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Gulf States are relatively stable even if much of the stability is due to the Saudi Military which was utilized to quickly put down the Arab Spring revolt in Bahrain. The sole problem in the Arabian Peninsula is with Yemen which again relies on arms and IRGC support. The war became sufficient of a threat that Saudi Troops soon backed by Egyptian air support were required to prevent a total collapse of the government from Iranian insurrection. This had prevented Iranian control of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait which controls the southern passage of the Red Sea into the trade routes to Africa and Asia.

This brings us to Northern Africa where we can begin with Tunisia. There has been some discontent with the government and the lack of positive economic improvement. This was partially defused with new elections and things appear to be moving ever so slowly in a positive direction. The nation is still in the grasp of what might be called a malaise similar to the Carter years in the United States but hope exists and the elections have been judged to be open and fair. Tunisia is one country where there exists a degree of hope going forward. This is especially true considering their neighbor, Libya. Libya is a nation in ruins with several disparate warlords controlling separate areas and the supposed central government ruling a central area of the capital city and little else. Libya will be a ruin for the next several decades and might never again operate as a single nation and instead operate as several fiefdoms with constant clashes and wars over territories never again forming any singular rule.

Algeria has yet to collapse but is also teetering on financial implosion and has several challenges which could at any time explode causing universal unrest resulting in another failed state similar to Libya next door. Algeria is one to watch as to the direction they may end up heading as things are uncertain at best. The rest of the nations bordering northern Africa have a completely different problem as many are divided north from south. In nations such as Nigeria, Cameroon and their neighbors the Islamic forces control much of the northern areas with Boko Haram operating against the Christian and Animist southern regions. These nations are all on the verge of full blown civil wars. Unrest between Islamic force and Christian and Animist populations exist all the way eastward to the division between Sudan and Southern Sudan. These clashes also reach to Kenya which borders Eretria and Somalia where Islamic warlords control separate areas and also are waging a war with Kenya and other neighboring nations in an attempt to spread Islam into Central Africa. The Kenyan Army thus far has held their own but without outside aid they will eventually lose ground as they get worn down. This is an area where the Western Powers could do some good along with Nigeria, Cameroon, South Sudan and the other nations thus threatened.

The next stop is Egypt which is a crucial and unusual place. The most prestigious Islamic Studies Institution, al-Azhar University is located in Egypt’s Capital City of Cairo and thus shares the seat of power in Egypt. Egyptian President Sisi has twice addressed the faculty and ruling Imams of al-Azhar University expressing the crucial need for an Islamic reformation allowing for Islam to coexist with other religions and not be based on world conquest and the destruction of all which is not Islamic. Though he has not mentioned some of the cultural crimes such as the destruction of the Buddhas of Bamiyan which were exploded by Taliban forces as they were judged an offense to Islam and idolatrous, President Sisi has challenged the Imams of al-Azhar University to spend effort in retrospective evaluation of Islam and to seek a less violent and strident path (see below). President Sisi of Egypt is true and honest in his hopes to lead a reformation of Islam but is facing an uphill battle which may at some point cost him his life. His position is every bit as treacherous as was that of Anwar Sadat for making a peace with Israel. He too saw the need for change and President Sisi has taken up the challenge which will be required if Islam is to survive as eventually the world will rise up and that would result in the termination of Islam as a world religion possibly leaving small bands scattered about the Middle East.

Moving to Iran, as far eastward as our travels will take us, and here we find the appearance of a representative democracy which appears to be functioning with only minimal upheaval as is witnessed elsewhere including right next door in Iraq. On closer inspection, a different reality becomes evident. The elections for the Parliament are a complete and total sham where the candidates must find approval before they, or even their party, are permitted to field candidates. Even then the candidates are vetted by a higher level of government. The reality is the government is a dictatorship and the office of President provides Iran with the appearance of normalcy. The truth be told, the Supreme Leader is the nation and the sole limitation on his power is the Council of Elders, the same body which selected Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to replace Supreme leaders Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini after his death. Since the 1979 revolution aided by United States President Jimmy Carter under the premise that Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini was necessarily a desirable and principled leader being an Islamic Holy Man, such misplaced logic has been indicative of American Middle East policy proving their presumed knowledge of Islamic culture and designs are woefully inadequate to even begin to formulate a cohesive and supportive strategy which would bring some semblance of peace to the region. The Supreme Leader is accountable to the Council of Elders which is constituted by elderly and respected Shiite clerics, Imams, who assure that the Quran is followed and that all the Islamic codes and other orders derived from the Quran are in fact obeyed and do indeed limit even the Supreme Leader. The reality is Iran is an oligarchy based on a religious hierarchy. Like other Islamic sects, the Shiites too seek to lead the final Caliphate which will unite the world under the banner of Islam and all will bear witness and surrender to Allah and his true heir in a lineage derived directly from Mohammad. Many Iranians believe in the Twelfth Imam who will rise from his solitude and hiding place from a well in Qom. Once the Twelfth Imam has risen, all Islam will unite behind Shia Islam and complete the struggle in a world war of unimaginable death, destruction and pure horrors. In the end there will stand the Twelfth Imam, the Mahdi, victorious and ruling over a unified world under Islam.

One of the serious problems with this interpretation is that the Twelfth Imam cannot appear until the world is already soaked in blood and a great conflagration engulfs the globe. The Shiite End-Times depiction is one of horrific terror and warfare engulfing the entirety of the planet. Some descriptions are so over-the-top that they appear to describe an all out nuclear exchange by every nuclear armed nation either against their main adversary or a broader attack on as many nations as possible. Some experts have claimed that just such a conflagration, with EMP pulse weapons destroying entire electrical grids and all the systems which rely upon them, would set civilization back centuries and cause the death of over three-fourths of the population in affected areas. It is also known that both Iran and North Korea have jointly worked on just such a weapon, a super EMP weapon using a heretofore unknown use for a hydrogen bomb as the driver of their EMP device. The power of such a device exploded four to five hundred miles above the center of any continent would disrupt and destroy virtually ever electronic device including those not even powered at the time of the strike. Virtually, if not actually all, any large generator with their massive windings would melt down into a shorted blob of copper and become useless. The United States and Europe are woefully unprepared neither to prevent such an attack nor to have hardened their electrical grids and specifically their largest transformers. Such a strike was exactly what makes Iran such a threat to the world and their sharing test results on nuclear weapons, especially EMP weapons, and rocket and missile specs and dimensional schematics showing exactly how to construct these weapons of war. Iran and North Korea are not working with such dedication to develop a true ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Weapon) just to be capable of striking Israel as that ability is and has been a part of their inventory for at least the past decade. Their desired targets are London and the British Isles and North America, more precisely, the United States.

The people running the military from deep within the Pentagon substructures which are capable of taking a direct strike partnering with NORAD Command (North American Aerospace Defense Command) which has recently been reconstructed flushing out full personnel and returning to their Cheyenne Mountain facility beneath an entire granite mountain suspended on necessarily huge shock absorbers and blast doors which once closed can withstand virtually anything coming through the mountain in its arching tunnel and the initial blast door is backed by a second blast door just as thick, capable and closed along with the primary to protect those inside. The return of NORAD to their Cheyenne Mountain facility from the Colorado Springs facility attached to the Air Force Academy was deemed a necessary and prudent reassignment. This was an expensive move as all the systems throughout the complex required rewiring to accept and facilitate the newer and more powerful computing capabilities. This was the stimulus to compel the Air Force and NORAD Command to reestablish the Cheyenne Mountain facility which was left due to its inability to power and transfer technical data and other necessities with any accuracy or alacrity. Cheyenne Mountain had reached the end of its road offering but one saving grace; it can withstand as many as a dozen direct strikes on the mountain and continue to function. No other Military facility can boast of such protection. Something in the intelligence community impelled NORAD to seek shelter in her nest egg in the Rocky Mountains and despite the fact that anybody can order a map of the area and find the Cheyenne Mountain facility, it will remain as close to indestructible as anyone can boast. To give one the real scope and size of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, one need start with the entire mountain and move inward to grant the place its full, impregnable glory (see series of images below).

After the fall of the Soviet Union, the Air Force and NORAD believed, as did many all too optimistic futurists, that the years of war and unrest had finally arrived and democracy and human rights would spread throughout the world and all the nations of the world would slowly but inexorably reach advanced cultures and finally an age of peace would rule. This might have actually been possible except for another warrior class culture stepped onto the world stage where all were forced to take notice. As long as Islam was solely an Israeli problem with minor flare-ups which were thought to be unrelated and easily put down and managed, then all was well and the world would allow unrest against Israel knowing that the Islamic thrusts were limited to Israel. September 11, 2001 ended that sleepy little mirage where all was well with the world and the only rough spot was against the Jewish State. The burning collapse of the Twin Towers in New York bringing down three of the main buildings from the World Trade Center also destroying one of the main subway stations in New York, the ramming of another passenger liner into the Pentagon and a final passenger plane whose target remains unknown was brought down by the passengers in a desperate assault on the cockpit leading to the craft crashing in a field outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, signaled the onset of World War III upon the western and developed world with the Islamists ready to wage a war of attrition, infiltration and subsuming the governments of the non-Islamic world. The other half of this offensive thrust would be the purification of the Islamic world forcing all to obey strident and violent forms of Islam. The leading nation initially appeared to be Afghanistan and possibly Iraq. The truth was that another source was moneyed individuals and organizations from Wahhabist interests and financiers from Saudi Arabia, Muslim Brotherhood associated groups including Hamas, al-Qaeda and other Muslim Brotherhood entities, the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) who were initially a pan-Arabist nationalist group but have slowly been taken over by Islamists which has left Mahmoud Abbas in a delicate and threatened position. These all have a single common denominator in that they were all Sunni groups. Standing against these Sunnis was a highly organized and capable Shiite Arab fundamentalist force led by Iran. There was Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad, as well as Hezballah led by a figurehead Hassan Nasrallah whose wars against Israel and the Lebanese Christians would have left Hezballah all but utterly destroyed if not for the resupply of missiles and associated weaponry including scud missiles and even larger missiles as well as rifles, explosives, mortars and other weaponry whenever they could successfully pass them past Israeli intelligence and interception, sometimes even intercepted while transiting the Sudan. Further assistance was provided for both Narallah’s Hezballah and the Syrian forces supporting al-Assad with Special Forces from the IRGC. These forces trained and were deployed from Iran and would have stood against Israel until the Arab Spring turned Arab Winter destroyed Syria causing a struggle for supremacy between Sunni and Shiite forces in largely Syria and spreading into Iraq as the Islamic State, another Sunni terror groups whose barbarity is almost beyond measure. The Islamic State made great advances initially but they were eventually slowed and have since held their grounds with losses and gains equaling out in the current stalemate.

Currently Israel is facing potential attacks from Hamas in the south out of Gaza where Hamas is the government and Israel has completely removed all their forces and citizens from the area. They face terror attacks coming from Fatah and other Palestinian Arab forces as ordered by Mahmoud Abbas associated terror squads. There are also lone wolf attacks from these Arab forces and even Israeli Arabs who have complete rights in Israel have attacked Israelis with knives, hatchets and other implements and also ramming with vehicles into crowds similar as what occurred in Nice, France recently. The same style attacks which have plagued Israel for the past century even before the state was formed, often at the behest of the Mufti of Jerusalem, are now striking innocents beyond Israel and across Europe and North America. What Hamas and Fatah bring upon Israel, the Islamic State and al-Qaeda take unto the rest of the world. Much of this build-up of Islamic fighters is directly due to the surrender of the easy grounds by President Obama in his belief that the United States was the problem and native forces such as the Islamists were the cure. President Obama went so far in his trusting of Islamists that he prepared the ground for Iran to become a major nuclear power within five years of his leaving office. The question that need be asked in every election in the free world going forward is which candidate is best prepared to face a nuclear Iran led by a religious fanatic who regards the destruction of his nation as a simple price to pay to destroy Israel, the United States, Europe and the rest of the free world allied with the man-boy ruling North Korea with an equally sufficient nuclear weapons stockpile and both sharing ICBM technology aiming at a new world with vast tracks turned into nuclear wastelands with no electrical production after massive EMP pulse weapons are deployed followed by city buster hydrogen thermonuclear bombs reducing their centers to rubble and the external areas into radioactive piles of rocks and bricks. This is the near future within a decade if actions are not initiated to end the madness allowing for religious fanatics who believe that dying for Allah guarantees them a place in heaven with seventy-two perpetual virgins allied with an irresponsible child who murdered his uncle simply for his disagreeing with the man-boy ruler and had him hung immediately without a moment of consideration. How could anybody believe this lunatic would not join the Iranian fanatics in the destruction of the world in the hopes of ruling the ruins. This is the world that faces the voters in elections going forward, so think hard and long for it may end up as your last vote ever taken.
